My sweet 20 year old Baby Precious went to heaven recently. Today I was able to pick up Precious. I am blown away with the sweet "little" details this place created. The nose print!🥹🩷 The paw print! 🥹🩷 Her name printed on the box! Along with the sweet cards and flower seeds really displayed the compassion and care that was practiced during her cremation. Thank you so much for the "little" details because they were what meant the MOST to me!!😭Thank you for understanding and practicing compassion in a mighty way! May God bless each and every one of you!🙏🩷

I lost my dog tragically the other night and Pet passages and Jennifer were kind and delicate in helping me put my baby girl to rest. Jennifer was amazing offering a hug of comfort and her own personal touch on my dogs remains to make me feel as best I can about a truly awful couple of days. Thank you for your kind gestures and empathy.

I had a really rough experience with Pet Passages that I want to share. After my cat passed away in July, she was taken for an autopsy at Griffin Animal Disease Lab, and I was told I needed to arrange for cremation. I choose Pet Passages because it was close to where I lived. I ended up paying for a bunch of extras, like hair clippings and paw prints in frames. When I went to pick everything up, I noticed the nose print was missing. They told me it was because "they cut up her face," but when I contacted Griffin Labs, they said that wasn’t true at all. The clay paw prints were also a mess—squished and unrecognizable. When I brought it up to the staff, they just stared at me and didn’t really offer any solutions. I was frustrated and asked if I was really expected to pay for this, which sent them into a panic. The manager gave me a partial refund for the paw prints. When I got home, discovered that the hair clippings were also a problem. I called Griffin Labs, and they confirmed that they couldn’t release hair from an animal that had been in a disease center. I was really upset and started to question if the ashes I got were even my cat's. They did give me a refund and offered to remake the paw print, but the whole situation left me feeling heartbroken and stressed.A month later, I was contacted about the remake. When I arrived, the staff didn’t know where the remakes were and had to create them on the spot. Although the owner was present and tried to help, he couldn't locate them. They ended up making them that moment, I left with two remakes that were slightly better, but the situation was still frustrating.A month after the last time, they called to say "Luna has been here for a few months do you want to pick her up" implying my cat's remains were ready for pickup, but it turned out they only had the remakes I was suppose to receive last time that they found. When I checked them, they were still poorly done—like, the birthstone was crooked, and there was debris in the clay. I decided to leave them behind, even though they insisted I take them.At the end of it all, they said they hoped I would give them another opportunity in the future, which I found in poor taste as it implies another one of my animals will pass soon. Overall, this experience was really disappointing and took away from the memory of my cat. I hope they can step up their game in the future because this definitely wasn’t the memorial she deserved.

I lost My Lucy at the beginning of May. I was so lost without my companion of 15 years. Searched for cremation of pets and Pet Passages popped up and... They were local. Called immediately and the owner said for me to bring her in on a SUNDAY. So very appreciative. I was even able to bring my other dog, Lindsay so she could say her goodbyes to her sister. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. Well worth it. He went above and beyond!Thank you for everything that you did for Lucy.

I can't say enough good things about the wonderful people and organization at Pet Passages. They were empathetic and kind every step of the way and did everything possible to make it all as easy as it could be. I'm so grateful for them and their support during such a difficult time.

Our 20 year old kitty passed away recently, and Pet Passages was honestly super helpful and understanding. They were able to pick her up from the vet she was euthanized at, and despite me not being able to pick her up for quite a while, they had her ready to go when I finally was able to pick her up! They really helped ease my anxiety about getting my girl cremated, and even allowed us to have the originals of her paw and nose prints. They were incredible kind, and despite this high level of care, their prices are more than reasonable, which was a load off my mind as well! I can't thank y'all enough! :3

Pet Passages provided efficient services when we had to euthanize our beloved cat following a sudden illness. They have a variety of options for cremation that are easy to schedule on-line. They picked up our pet from Blue Pearl and we were able to pick up his remains. Communication was prompt. This was a difficult time and Pet Passages made it easier .

Our Gypsy was sick with lymphoma - we knew we would have to euthanize her, but thought we had another 6-10 days. She took an unexpected turn on a Sunday night and we called first thing Monday morning. Dr. LaVergne came to our house that day. She was kind and gentle and let us set the pace. She also made all the crematory arrangements for us so we didn't have to struggle through that. Christopher from the crematory was also very kind and let us take our time saying goodbye. When I crossed her paws for her because she always sat like that, he said he would position her that way in the reliquary. He confirmed that he did that when he dropped off her ashes. Euthanizing your pet is traumatic on its own and we greatly appreciate that Pet Passages treated us kindly and did not add to that trauma.

I was so pleased that this company was able to work with me when, at the last minute, I changed the time for them to pick up my 2 elderly dogs after they were euthanized. I had spoken with Kim by phone and then met her when she picked up. I was reassured by her understanding of a difficult time because she has experienced the same. The next day when she delivered their ashes she brought her adorable Jack Russell named Trevor, sensing that I might need some "dog energy". (Interestingly, Trevor's attention was distracted a few times by something that Kim and I could not see or hear.) Spending time with Kim and Dr Lavergne (from Home With You, Compassionate Pet Euthanasia, reviewed separately) made this a positive experience and left me with a sense of peace for my two beloved companions, Sammy and Baron "Best Friends Forever".

I had a beloved Nigerian Dwarf goat that passed away from cancer and I had no idea what to do. I first called Pet Passages and got no answer so I just hung up. I was at such a loss as to what to do and so upset about his death.... but within 10 minutes they called me back and within an hour they were at my house in rural Union County. They were so compassionate and respectful; it meant the world to me. I will absolutely call them any time I lose a pet.

The Pet Passages team provided us with quality service and treated us with great care as we processed the death of our sweet girl, Bear. I would highly recommend Pet Passages to others. The folks at Pet Passages even coordinated with me after hours to meet me at the business and to work thru the process with me. Excellent service.

My childhood cat recently was put down at a vet’s office. I had already researched this place, and I fell in love with the idea of Pet Passages. All the reviews were good, saying that they were prompt, sweet, and really went above and beyond to help deal with the loss of a beloved pet. So, once the vet asked about which option I wanted to go with (burial or cremation) I went with cremation and even paid an extra fee to have my cat sent to this place. In addition to that, I paid a travel fee of $70 (which is understandable) because the location of the vet was 1 mile outside of the radius. That’s policy, I understand that, and since I had my heart set on this place I was more than willing to pay whatever. While they gave me everything I paid for, I was told I would be called within 72 hours of pickup to be informed on when everything was ready. This all happened at the beginning of the week, and this past Friday I still hadn’t gotten a call. I decided to call them before they closed for the weekend to ask and was met with a “oh yeah, she’s ready you can just pick her up whenever,” from a kind of insensitive guy who answered the phone. I’m not the type to leave reviews but when you’re working in this type of business, I feel like that you should be more sensitive when talking to people grieving their pets who trusted this business. The reason I gave it two stars instead of just one is because the lady I spoke to today when picking up was a sweetheart. I wouldn’t trust this place again, however.Update: the owner was very kind and reached out to me personally to make everything right!

Losing a pet is so difficult💕 I want to make sure that when my animal is taken, I get MY animal back. I also always pray that the handling of my animals after they pass is done with care and compassion. Over the years I've always gone to Paws Whiskers and Wags. The experience there was okay. The experience I had at PET PASSAGES was perfect and they do a lot of little things to make it special.. It was a better experience. My mobile euthanasia vet, Dr. Manetta Lavergne, owner of "Home With You" recommended PET PASSAGES. I'm so glad I went here! 🙏🙏This is just my opinion, but, they are compassionate, and seem to take more care than the other local pet cremator we have used. They gave a lovely box with his name engraved on it with the cremains inside a velvet bag inside the box. It also had a nice latch on it to keep it closed. They also did his nose print 💕 and a paw 🐾 print💕They did a lot of little things that made me think they treated my animal special.Thank you Dr Lavergne for recommending here, and thank you Pet Passages and thank you SAM JOHNSON for your lovely voicemail, and how kindly you handled my sweet boy.I will recommend this crematory wherever I go, as long as they're in business👍💕🐾🐾💕Again, thank you!🥹🙏💕💔❤️🩹🕊️

We lost our family pet of over a decade and were devastated. I looked up Pet Passages and not only did they blow their competitors prices out of the water but they were so thoughtful and respectful. Allowed us all the time we needed to grief our family friend and had him ready for us the next day. I cannot thank them enough for making this process easier for us. The paw and nose prints were amazingly beautiful and our Bandit now sits with us at home on our mantle. Wonderful customer service and a great job at a fair price. If the need ever arises again, we will choose them. Thank you again .

Pet passages did a wonderful job in creating a positive environment and experience with our 14 year old golden retriever. We appreciate all your thoughtfulness during this difficult process.

My 12 year old dog recently passed away and we took him to Pet Passages, wonderful customer service, very compassionate and understanding, and gave us all the time we needed to spend with our pet. Even made a special requests for extra nose and paw prints and they got that done for us and we were able to get him back the following day. Losing a pet is never easy but Pet Passages made the process very smooth, can’t recommend them enough.

This was an incredibly difficult time for our family - losing our Sadie after almost 14 years. Pet Passages handled the details of her cremation very professionally and thoughtfully. We were very pleased with the options presented and the keepsakes provided.

My 16 year old lab passed away at home. Pet Passages promptly arranged pick up with my vet and arrived with complete professionalism and compassion. They had my sweet old girl ready for cremation pick up in a couple of days and included so many meaningful items to honor her and her memory in our family. Highly recommend!

Thankful for their services. Have driven by their building hundreds of times and never knew what they did until recently. We unexpectedly had to make alternative arrangements for the remains of our sweet cat. We called first thing in the morning and we were able to stop by and drop off our cats remains immediately. They said it would take up to 72 hours but they were finished in 24. Their pricing is very affordable and have keepsake ink paw and nose prints included - so sweet.

My Husband found our sweet kitty, Nugget, in the middle of the street we live off of on a Saturday morning 3 weeks ago yesterday. To say we were devastated is a complete understatement. He was part of our family and only 9 years old. We live very close to Pet Passages and they were my first call. Unfortunately, I got no answer and realized they were closed. I called around to see if we could find somewhere to take Nuggie, but it just didn’t feel right. I called Pet Passages back one more time and they answered. Not only did they accept us on a day they were closed, but the nice man we worked with was so compassionate and caring and didn’t try to upsell us on anything (this has happened to me with other pet passings in our family). We received Nugget’s ashes back very quickly, within 4 days. We got a nose print and paw print and a sweet card. I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for an alternative to burying their sweet fur baby. Thank you so much to the kind employees, you really came through when we needed it most.

We had the unfortunate experience of having to put our dog down somewhat unexpectedly. That passages was so diligent and accommodating to us that we could never thank them enough! The vet came right to our house and in spite of being a horrible situation it was beautiful as well. We are so grateful for them. Not to mention it was on a Sunday which made it very challenging. Cannot recommend them enough!

We said goodbye to our sweet pup, Princess, after 11.5 years of love. Pet Passages was so kind and compassionate. We received her ashes back the next day, with beautiful keepsakes. Would recommend!

Our rescue boy unfortunately passed away last May. We were devastated and wanted to find a compassionate and loving place who would take care of our boy. Pet Passages had recently opened in Indian Trail and we made the decision to take him there for quiet reflection and grieving before his cremation. We are so glad we did. Sam and his employees did a great job. They are very caring and understanding of what we were (and still are) going through. We purchased a beautiful urn for our boy Mac, and also some jewelry with our boy's ashes and received his paw and nose prints. I highly recommend Pet Passages in Indian Trail.

It has taken me almost a month to collect my thoughts . My heart aches everyday. We had to let our sweet princess go the morning of December 15th .What next because I was 2 hours away and devastated. Skyline emergency vet recommended Pet Passages for her cremation. Sam did not disappoint and I knew my Haylee was going to be handled with love and compassion after a few phone conversations. He was there for all my questions and requests and gave me his recommendations. He also explained the process in detail which put me at ease that my princess was in good hands.. Thank you Sam for your thoughtfulness and thank you for persevering her memories and most of all your endearing kindness through this difficult journey. Pet Passages is the Best ..Thanks again,The Hunt family ❤️PS - I will cherish her paw print and her nose print. The clay paw print was definitely a bonus.. Miss her dearly.

Talk about a group of genuinely caring people. From the moment you walk in, until you leave they're there and helping you with this difficult time. It's rare these days people really do walk the walk they talk!

Having used Peaceful Pets for 20 years I was skeptical of searching out new options when the owners of that business retired. Under extreme stress we found Pet Passages. They were professional, compassionate, helpful, went beyond our expectations, and fair pricing. They were also much faster than expected. The process was simple and options clear. Highly recommend.

I cannot say enough good things about Pet Passages and the owner, Sam. The care and love they showed us in a difficult time is truly appreciated. Our beloved dog came home today in a beautiful box. We also got several paw prints which we will treasure. While this was a difficult time for us as a family, knowing that our dog was in great hands and being cared for and then returned to us with love has brought us such peace.

I can not say enough good things about Pet Passages. I didn't know what to do that horrible morning when our kitty passed. When I reached out to Pet Passages in Indian Trail, they instantly took over and offered me options. They were very kind and caring. The package I purchased was beautifully done. Thank you, Sam and Kim.

I just picked up our beloved family pet and had to get on here and give this place a glowing review. Sam was beyond flexible and showed great compassion and respect for the loss of our Lola. Sadly our other baby passed away recently and we took her to another local place, but the experiences could not have been more different...the other place made me feel like I was just another transaction, which is not something one wants to feel at such a vulnerable time. Again, the respect and compassion shown by Sam was almost palpable. I hope not to need his services anytime soon but when the time comes, we will surely return here.
