This business was very professional. When I lost my dog Rocky of 10 years, the sadness and grief I felt was profound. Getting his ashes back gave me a sense of closure. Paws Whiskers and Wags packaged my sweet Rocky's ashes in such a personal way with a note about Rainbow Bridge and a small bag of Rocky's fur. It made me cry reading about my sweet Rocky being in Heaven but it also gave me hope that I would see him again and it made me feel like Rocky is in a better place! Thank you to them and their team for being professionals and caring about the grief their customers are feeling. For any pet lover, we know they aren't just pets, they are a part of our family. It's good to have a service provider understand that.

Finally having to part with our over 16 year old cattle dog, Bonnie, wasn't easy, but Tina and Dr. Laura are both amazing, compassionate care providers. It is a lovely facility as well, and we were given all the time we wanted to be with our old girl both before and after. As someone in their sixties and after a life time of pets, I can say that no vet has ever been as wonderful as Dr. Laura in that final farewell. We will cherish the dog print she made as a keepsake. Western NC is certainly fortunate to have these two wonderful people providing such a needed service.

Whatever you do do not give this place your business. When we lost our fur baby I was inconsolabe but Tina Rollins made the pain I felt a little more bearable. She understood and was so compassionate. I cannot believe they let her go. She made and was this business and I for one will never go back. I can only hope she opens up another business of her own. I truly believe God placed a calling in her heart to help those of us deal with the grief and loss of a dear friend, companion, and pet. No doubt it was all about the money and I am sure this group could care less about helping people the way Tina did.

Our sweet Sophie had passed away with Kidney disease at the age of 14. I had contacted Tina and she responded back to me quickly. We brought Sophie to Memory Keepers and as you walk in the front door, you feel at peace. I wouldn't call this a business but more of a home for loved ones to grieve their fur babies. There is a nice comfortable grieving room, a beautiful chapel to have a memorial service . Tina and her Husband are so passionate and caring that I felt like I have known them for a long time. They listen to you're stories and they love you're fur babies like they are theirs. The respect they have given us and welcomed us with open arms, I'll forever be grateful. We received Sophie back within 48 hours which was so nice to have her back home. Her urn is absolutely gorgeous! The picture of her engraved is breathtaking. We got a beautiful laminate poem that made me ball my eyes out because it's so heartfelt. We received a beautiful death certificate with our Sophie's little paw prints and nose print. We also received a glass vial of Sophie's hair and Tina took all of Sophie's colors of her hair and put it in the vial. Every detail is heartwarming. We weren't rushed at all. When we brought Sophie in to be cremated to when we picked her up. We had a wonderful experience with Memory Keepers. God Bless you Tina and you're family for what you do. We really appreciate you're kindness and love you have shown us. Thank you so much for taking care of our sweet Sophie and taking care of us!!

When I was given the news that my poor little Pit, Gilly had lymphoma and not a lot of time left, I was devastated. A friend of mine at work had just gone through the loss of her beloved Kitty, and told me when the time came and I needed to have her taken care of, she knew someone that was really great. She went on to describe how passionate and loving Miss Tina at Memory Keeper's was. She said the whole experience really helped her say goodbye to her fur baby. She also said there was a Vet, Dr. Laura Pearson, who would come to your house and help your pet cross over the Rainbow Bridge. So when the time came I gave Tina a call and she helped me set everything up with her and Doctor Laura. They were very accommodating and both came to my house one evening. It was such a sad but beautiful transition. Tina made me feel very at ease that my baby was going to a better place and that she would take care of her and get her back to me as soon as possible... 2 days later I went to Memory Keepers to pick up my little girls ashes. She had helped me choose a photo to have etched on the outside of her wooden urn and it came out beautiful with her name and date of her passing below it. She had a certificate of her cremation with her little nose print and paw print on there, and a little glass vial with some fur and whiskers from her. She gave me a tour of her building and I was very, very impressed. If you don't want to have Dr. Laura come to your house, she will go to Memory Keepers, where they have a lovely rΓ³om set up to say goodbye if you would like to go that route. There's also a little chapel where you can give your last respects to your beloved baby. She has a beautiful set up there, you can even bring your other pets if you like, to say goodbye. If you're looking for someone to help you get through the loss of your beloved pet, with compassion and dignity, I highly recommend Tina Rollins at memory keepers!

This place is not like it use to be. You can tell by just walking in the door the vibes are different. I always used this place when Memory Keepers started. Tina was such a help with me losing all the cats Iβve lost. I have a personal rescue so unfortunately I used the crematory services often. She made my losses a little easier just by being there. Showing she cared. Since this other company came in and took over and let Tina go, things have not been the same. Now the process is unbelievable. They put my fur ones paw print on a cheap half piece of printer paper and threw it in the bag. They lack professionalism. They lack empathy. Itβs a difference in day and night. Their prices went up a lot. That says to me they are all about the money and could care less about their customers and our loss. Iβm done! Theyβve made changes for the worse. They will no longer get my business!

I'm about 1 year late in writing this review. The loss of our little baby was one of the most difficult periods of my life. Spunky was a very special little girl who is still thought about every day. For nearly 12 years, she was with us everywhere that we went. People may have many pets over the course of their lives, but there is always one that stands out, always one that is just different, always one that is special. Spunky was mine. With that being said, when looking into pet cremation services near me, calling and reading several reviews, Memory Keepers stood out to me. Specifically, as they have an on-site crematorium, I knew that there was no chance of remains being mixed up (I've read some horror stories). After talking to Tina, I knew immediately that she was the one to handle this final trip that Spunky would take. I made the arrangements in the morning and then my wife and I brought Spunky over that evening. We spent close to an hour in a private viewing room with her before we said goodbye. When Spunky was cremated, Tina wrapped her in her favorite blanket and put her favorite toy between her front paws. Tina made a footprint impression, trimmed some hairs from the little white patch on Spunky's chest, and placed her remains in a custom wooden urn with her name on it.I believe that Tina is an amazing woman who showed a level of love, care, and respect for us and our baby, that went far beyond my expectations. I can't recommend her enough. And, yes, when we travel, little Spunky still goes with us.

I had a rabbit that I have had for 9 years, He was very special to me. I will be moving so that I can take care of my mother, I wanted to take my rabbit with me but I didn't know where to take him to be cremated, I called Bass Smith funeral home and someone there told me about Tina, Tina called me and I took my rabbit to her, she treated me with kindness and respect, I greatly appreciate that. I love the little box that she had put him in. If anything was to happen to one of my dogs I would take them there, I love my fur babies and I know Tina would treat them too with respect. May god bless Tina and her family and anyone who has lost a fur baby.

Tina was wonderful helping us when our little "Fur-Baby" suddenly passed unexpectedly. Tina is so compassionate & caring, she truly is an angel. At a difficult, heartbreaking time, she was there for us. Thank you Tina. I have made a new friend. Blessings, Love, & Lots of Hugs!Always, Carolyn Ikerd β€βοΈ

We had to say good-bye to our loving cat "Earl" on 10-13-2020! He passed away in his Daddy's arms and it was and is extremely hard on my husband. Earl has been the best "therapy" cat in the world. He and my husband both shared the same health problems, which are heart disease, kidney disease and believe it or not Cancer. When Tabitha at Conover Vet found out that we wanted him to be cremated she told us about this wonderful lady named Tina at Memory Keepers Pet Cremation Services. Her description was 100% accurate. Tina did a more that perfect job. His Urn is so beautiful and the certificate with his little nose print and paw print were paw-fect. We know he is at peace now and we are so thankful to Tina for handling our Earl as if he belonged to her. God Bless you Tina and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We absolutely would recommend her and her services to anyone.Sonya & Jeff

I recommend you allow Memory Keepers to handle your final farewells to your beloved 4 legged children. Anyone who reads my reviews knows I give reviews as accurate and thorough as possible. I give bad and good reviews and with complete veracity. On December 12 I lost my oldest and longest friend of my rescued living beings known to some as dogs. This was and is a very painful loss. I am not from the area so I don't know much about the area but I did a Google search and found Memory Keepers pet care funerals. I called expecting to pay hundreds of dollars but I was quoted the most reasonable and affordable cost from any of the places I called to have my beloved bruiser funeral. I have met a lot of humans including human funeral directors and all sorts of people. I can say honestly Ms Tina is the most compassionate sincere human I have met in my life with the exception of my mother. I only had to drive about half an hour to her office but I can tell you I would drive 5 hours to have Ms Tina handle the funeral services for my remaining four legged children. Just her compassion and listening and not laughing at a 6 foot 250 pound blubbering idiot over my baby was worth much more. I didn't take pictures of her facility because she already has pics of it and it is very thoughtful and compassionate set up to allow families to say final goodbyes. If you experience the loss of a beloved pet I would recommend you trust Memory Keepers with handling the final farewell for you to your pets. I am positive that as long as I live within 5 hours of Memory Keepers pet burial services I will bring them to her. Thank you and God bless theoving passionate care you give to the humans and the fur babies.

Tina is the sweetest person and really makes you feel at ease in such a difficult time. The keepsakes are one of a kind and such a special memory of our beloved dogs to cherish always. I would absolutely recommend her services to anyone!

Tina was so wonderful; she treated my baby girl Cricket so special. She and her husband were so helpful and caring. I highly recommended her, and will continue to call on her when my other fur babies pass on to the rainbow bridge.

My heart was broken when little dog of 13 years passed away ...I could not stand the thought of burying her she hated to be cold . I talk to Tina at Memory Keepers she was so sympathetic to my loss ...she comforted me and assured me they would take great care of my baby. Terry a trusted staff member there told me he would treat her like she was his baby tooo....They did a wonderful job making a memorial that's beautiful.i love knowing she is still with me even oh she is gone ....her picture is etched in the top and they saved me a clipping of her hair in a little vile and her paw prints on her certificate....it really is lovely ...It was so affordable I could hardly believe it ....Thank you so much Tina and staff for the care you have shown . 5 starrs I highly recommend

Tina was very compassionate and caring during this difficult time. She has a first class facility and I feel like she treated my 14.5 year old lab with dignity. I will definitely use her again If needed in the future.

This is not the same company anymore, Paws Whiskers and Wags purchased Memory Keepers about a year ago and the new name was Paws Whiskers and Wags-Memory Keepers. Well now if you notice on their website they have removed all things related to Memory Keepers and the former owner/manager Tina. That's because they have told Tina that they don't want or need her anymore. So if you were a customer of Memory Keepers this is your warning, it is NOT the same company. Prices have went up significantly, when management was asked why the increase the regional management response, "do they want the best or the cheapest". Funny thing Memory Keepers was the best and the cheapest for two years before PWW was around. There are now other (better) options in the area, I highly suggest you do your research and then decide.

Tina did an amazing job with our boy. The complimentary pick up service saved us a lot of heartache. And the locally made urn is beautiful. I couldn't have asked for better service and quality of care during one of the most difficult times in our family. Thanks Tina!

When my beloved 13 year old dog passed, I had no idea who would be handling her remains. Within three days, I received notice from the vetβs that her remains were ready. Boy am I truly grateful the vetβs used Memory Keepers Pet Cremation Services. When I opened the bag, I saw the beautiful, simple wooden urn with her name in cursive on the front. I also saw something else I never knew I wanted. Memory Keepers provided a certificate of cremation ensuring me that my baby girl was well taken care of. What cements this to be true is the fact that they took the time to paw print and nose print my girl on the certificate. Itβs not over. They even provided a small vial of her hair in the pattern that she was. These small gifts are truly a comfort. Thank you kindly Memory Keepers!

Tina done a excellent job for my precious Pebbi and took great care to make sure she was treated with the upmost respect. My baby girl was with me for 16.5 years and I loved her so much. My heart still breaks because she is not here any longer, but thankfully i'll be able to take her with me where ever I go, because she is not buried in some back yard. I plan to have her ashes buried with me when my time on earth is over and I know I will see her on that Rainbow Bridge one day.

After a brief battle with chronic kidney failure, we had to say goodbye to our βlittle boyβ Otis just before his 13th birthday. It was a very tough decision for us and we are so thankful that we reached out to Tina Rollins (Memory Keepers Pet Cremation Services, LLC) and Dr. Laura Pearson (Caring Concepts Mobile Veterinary Hospice and Euthanasia Service PLLC). Tina and Dr. Lauraβs comfort and compassion towards us and Otis made our decision much more tolerable. Although Otis had lost nearly two-thirds of his body weight, both Tina and Dr. Laura commented on what a beautiful kitty he was.We were able to spend the final moments with Otis in a very relaxing and comforting atmosphere provided by Tina at Memory Keepers Pet Cremation Services. Dr. Laura was kind and compassionate as she gracefully escorted Otis into eternal peace. She made a paw print in a clay setting as a keepsake and allowed us to hold Otis throughout the entire procedure and for as long as we wanted afterwards. Dr. Laura even mailed us a card expressing her sympathy in the loss of our sweet Otis.Tina performed Otisβ cremation with the utmost dignity and respect. Along with his remains in a beautiful photo urn with dates, she included a vile of hair clippings and whiskers, a Petβs Peace card, and a certificate with his nose and paw print.Although we (including his brother and best friend Milo) are still saddened losing Otis, we are overjoyed that we found such caring and compassionate people in Tina and Dr. Laura. On a scale of 1-5, Tina and Dr. Laura are both 10!! We will definitely recommend them to others and when the time comes we will seek their services again.

This is NOT the same company asMemory Keepers. Paws Whiskers andWags has bought Memory Keepersand has changed everything that itwas. Notice how all the Memory Keepers Info has been removed from the website. It is now a corporate profit driven business, on the surface they look/act like they care. Don't befooled! Check their pricing, it has wentup significantly! Almost $200 for a4lbs animal with a clay paw print. When Memory Keepers first openedthey were the only local option andwere affordable. I highly suggest youshop around, there are other optionslocally with better pricing! Don't eventhink about having your equine cremated there! In response to your reply. You are mistaken, it isnβt the fact that you have changed since merging with Memory Keepers. It is the fact that you have changed everything about Memory Keepers. Even your new website and logo doesnβt show anything about Memory Keepers or Tina who owned, and then managed the location. Also I have no desire to meet or email with the βmanagerβ at PWW.

This place is an actual funeral home for pets. They have 2 private rooms for family and other pets to gather to say good-bye. They have an adorable little chapel where you can sit a few minutes, pray or hold a funeral service. You don't have to go thru your vet. You can go thru them directly for half the price. Tina is very loving and compassionate. She prays for every pet before they are cremated. I highly recommend Memory Keepers. For me it was 90 miles round trip but well worth it.

The day after Thanksgiving, we had to have our beloved cat, Zoey, put to sleep due to mouth cancer. This absolutely broke our hearts. I still can't stop crying. She was my shadow and slept on me every night. I miss her so badly it hurts. After Zoey went to sleep forever, she was taken to Paws, Whiskers & Wags. We trusted them to do the right thing by her...and they did. When she came home to us, she was placed in a beautiful box ... which is what we expected; however, the additional items will be treasured forever! We received a pamphlet regarding Grieving the loss of a pet! It was very helpful. A paw print and muzzle print. A heart to plant in her memory. Support group information. A certificate. What touched me the most, though, was the vial that held three colors of her fur. I will always remember the thoughtfulness of this company in providing us with the gentlest way we could possibly have in parting with our beloved Zoey. They are amazing.

tina - you are amazing. i could not have had a better experience, especially given the circumstances. my daughter now has forever a piece of her "brother" halo (weimaraner in a pink bathrobe, if you remember; it's been close to a year and a half), along with the paw print certificate and his collar. i never felt rushed or pressured to buy any upgrades, just showed what was available and allowed the time to make my decision. in fact, I was expecting to pay the higher rate for the larger animal fee, but was given the discount to the smaller animal fee because Halo had lost enough weight to fall below the poundage and into small animal pricing. I didn't realize this until after everything had been done and was handed my invoice. it's nice to have honest people doing great work, especially in times of grieving. a great way to memorialize your lost loved one.

I recently lost my son after nearly 12 years. He was short with 4 legs, a slight speech impediment and wore a black fur coat. My little baby that I helped birth and deliver, Teddy was the most amazing little soul ever. My companion day in and day out since February of 2008. We shared many head bonks, chin scratches and tummy rubs. We engaged in conversation. We had snuggle and cuddle time. I sang to him and he just swooned. We had an attachment, a bonding that I've never had with another animal. Teddy quickly became sick, and in less than a week, he had to be humanely removed from this earth to stop his suffering. Kidney disease and failure, anemia, pancreatitis... my baby was in pain. I had to do it. And I was destroyed. My companion. My baby. Mi Diablo Guapo..my handsome devil. Gone. The loving personality never to return again. I'm shattered. Lost.Tina took great care of my baby boy. He was handled with care and dignity. He was returned to me in a beautiful wooden box engraved with his name. I also received a vial containing some hair clippings and a beautiful certificate announcing his cremation. On the certificate were two ink stamps: One of his paw, and one of his nose. The most precious thing I could have to remember him by. The certificate will be framed and all of the items will be placed upon a memorial shelf in my home.My baby had to go home, it was his time. But Tina made sure that he came home as well. I am forever grateful.

Leaving this review so others will know . I so hate that Tina Rollins and pww went separate ways,Tina was the backbone of this company she started a few years ago and it will never ever be the same, corporate ruins a lot and definitely ruined this place, I picked up 3 animals I had there last Fri after hearing she had left,it was at the close of business so my bags were sitting there ready to go ,I didn't look inside ,I just grabbed them and left, goi g up the road one bag tipped over and out came a bag of ashes, something I wasn't used to seeing. Tina is getting me her urn s but to see this I was appalled, all 3 bags were like this, I called back to their office and Jason was like isn't Tina getting ur urns,I said yes but u can't put them in some temporary till then? So they closed for the weekend and I call back and speak to a lady in Charlotte, she said they should never left there like that and I agree . So Kevin is supposed to call me on mon but huday so it was Tuesday and at 2.00 pm still no call, I called him and needless to say I wasn't nice and all he could do was apologized so I'm sorry but that wasn't good enough for me, Ashley called next round and offered to get temp urns till Tina gets mine, and I went to get them and that's what should had happened in the beginning but didn't. I just want the people that depended on Tina realize this place won't be the same ever, other options r out there so check around, the prices have skyrocket and I do understand prices have on everything but it's not the company it should be! It's all about money it seems like so look around.!

I highly recommend Memory Keepers Pet Cremation Services. My 16 year old Blue Point Birman had chronic kidney disease. This Saturday he crossed the rainbow bridge. Memory Keepers not only helped me through this sad time, but took such great care of Blu and although he may not be here in kitty form, he is with me and in my heart forever. Thank you so much Tina and Memory Keepers. π

The best place to get your pet cremated. Aside from it being affordable, the place itself is just very lovely. Tina, the lady who owns the place, is a genuine person and treats each precious angel with love and respect. 20/10 recommend!

Lost our beloved Cleo, Tina, had gone above and beyond with the care and attention to detail with preparing the preservation of her memories, by making us feel like family and welcomed us as we have been friends for years.

They do an amazing job, I unfortunately was on vacation when my pet passed away so when I got back her custom made box with her name on it and her paw print I was really happy.

Took my dog here a year ago when she passed. Very friendly people, amazing service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is mourning their petβs loss, they give you a beautiful tribute of your pet to keep afterwards as memorabilia.

Most professional and caring business Iβve ever dealt with. They are SINCERE not after your dollar like so many people in animal industry. They treated me and my dog like we were their only customers and actually cared about the situation.

Thank you for your understanding, and compassion for my granddaughters when their beloved Athena passed suddenly, and unexpectedly. I was told that Athena's keepsakes are beautiful, and will be treasured.Thank you.

We lost our much loved boxer Bruno to cancer, totally devastating to me and my wife,,he was our boy, but one bright spot in the process of losing him was to meet Dr Laura and Tina from Memory keepers. They were so wonderful and truly caring would diffinatly recommend them to anyone in need of an end of a precious loved furry friend.

What can I say? They did it well, fast and with great sensitivity. I hope I never have to use them again, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate.
Tracie Greene
The people there are so very kind and respectful of your pet I was so very happy with the care and understanding I received made everything a little easier I received a decorate box with her name on it a certificate of cremation with her nose and paw print and they went a extra step and game me some of her hair I can not express how happy I was with the caring of your special friend

This was the best decision I couldβve made. Tina made our family feel so much better. Losing Sophie (our dog) was so hard. But having memory keepers pet cremation help us with the final arrangements made it a little easier. Thank you so much Tina!!

The most compassionate dog lover I have ever met. Tina treats your beloved pet like she would her own. I've known her for over 30 years and she is the bestπΎβ€πΆ

Will not use this company. Not the same as with Tina, the previous owner. She was wonderful!
Wakefield Paws Petcare
Not the same after being bought out. These people donβt care about you or your pet they only care about the money.
