Alec & Jillian took great care of my sweet girl who suddenly passed. When communicating with Alec, he was genuinely empathetic with our loss and made me feel the best I could, given the circumstances, that my sweet Onyx was being well cared for. We received the small wooden box of her ashes with a custom metal plate label, a vial filled with her fur, paw imprint and card with her an ink print of her paw. It was extremely emotional picking up those items but they will be cherished forever.

I have had many dogs in my life but this is the first one that I have ever cremated.. he had a special place in my heart.. I was hesitant on who I trusted with him.. he was a 84lb Pitt. Big Boy.. it was early on a Tuesday morning..6ish am, I called Halo & Wings Cremation and left a message.. within an hour Alex called me back.. I explained what I needed and he pointed me in the right direction... he explained to me the process and assured me my boy would be in good hands.. over the days Alex called and give me updates and asked about the engraving I wanted on the urn.. I explained what I wanted.. I can not explain in words how grateful and appreciative I am to Him and his private facility.. Alex and his team did a phenominal job on everything, from the engraving ( perfect ), foot print in a special clay that will not brake (perfect).. to the ink footprint with a special note, his hair in a small jar, keychain and his cremation papers, everything was done with such care .. I can tell you Alex and his team takes each pet and treats them like their own family.. They take the time with each one to make sure everything is done correctly, even if it means doing 20 footprints to get the right one.. My boy is named Diesel..aka Bees.. 11/30/2016 - 12/17/2024If you have a special pet that means the world to you and want to get cremated, I can 10000000% gaurtenee you will not be disappointed with the services of Halo & Wings Cremation.. Alec is absolutely AMAZING!! He was so kind and gentle with my sweet baby, Benji that passed. He took all of my emotions into consideration and he poured empathy and sympathy while I was going through that very difficult time. They are not just a business! They are people who TRULY care from the bottom of their heart and have love for every animal living or passed! Recommending them is unfortunate due to the nature of their business, however, under those unfortunate circumstances I would never go with anybody else!!! Very highly recommended!!!

We moved to Wilmington this past summer and unfortunately lost our family dog and cat within the first 6 months of living here. I never thought about what would happen with my pets after they passed, nor did I have any expectations. Alec went above and beyond! We lost our love of our life, Finley, unexpectedly on vacation to hemangiosarcoma. She was 13 years and 7 months. We were visiting North Carolina from Pittsburgh. On New Year’s eve I had to make the hard decision to put down my childhood cat. I got Angel when I was around 5 which means I had her for about 14 years. She was sent to Halo & Wings Cremation and since she had arrived there they were nothing but sweet and caring to me. They assured me that my sweet baby was in the best care and that she would be safely returned to me. I picked up her remains today and she was in a beautiful box while a gold plate that I decided what would be written on it. I also got some of her hair, a sweet handwritten note, a keychain, and a clay paw print of her paw. I would like to give a very big thank you, and if I ever have another pet sadly pass I will definitely be using Halo & Wings Cremation. ❤️❤️

Shortly after making a very difficult decision we received a phone call from Alec reassuring us that Jackson would be treated with care and respect. He made sure we were ok and was so compassionate with us. He truly cares. We had a custom engraving for the urn, a clay imprint and ink print of Jackson's little foot. My partner and I lost our baby last week. Got him back today and in love with the service performed by halo and wings and the care given in these difficult times. The paw print clay mold and the print on the letter really got the tears flowing again. The tuff of hair was a really nice touch. The other box pictured was one I bought myself to put all the little things of his. My sweet dog Ellie recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and we used Halo & Wings cremation services. They called me to find out what I wanted engraved on her wooden urn which was very special. They were very kind and compassionate. They gave her back to me in a beautiful wooden urn with the name I requested on it . I also got a ink paw print, clay paw print , wooden key chain with her name, and tiny jar with some of her hair. I appreciate all the reminders of her and would definitely use their services again.

I don't even know where to start. I received a call from the owner Alec checking in to see how I was doing the day after my sweet dog Brody went to heaven. He spent a good ten minutes talking with me about how him and his wife started this company because of the lack of care and compassion they received after losing their baby and they didn't want other people experiencing that during one of the worst moments of their lives. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do was leave Brody at the veterinary office after he had passed, as his momma it went against everything in my being since it's my job to make sure he is protected and safe. WONDERFUL! Compassionate, professional, kind and so much more! I had to say goodbye to my 12-yr old fur baby, Sadie, last week. The following day, after her passing, Alec called to lend his condolences. As devastating as it was to lose my baby, Alec's call made me feel very comforted and that Sadie was in good hands.I had delayed picking up her urn because of the finality of it all. However, when I did, I was brought to tears all over again because of the wonderful care Alec & Jillian had taken. A "Rainbow Bridge" card with a handwritten message and a lock of my baby's hair, a plaster mold with her paw print, a beautiful dark wood urn with an etched plaque and a keychain with her name. Let me start out by saying that losing your furbaby is one of the hardest things to go through, but when it’s unexpected it makes it even worse! I have had my fur baby’s cremated in the past by the vets arrangements and brought them back home to be with us. This time it was sudden and our Ghost kitty of 15 years passed here at home. Although we knew her time was near you can never be prepared for their loss. I looked up cremation services and found Halo & Wings and contacted them. They came out and picked her up within an hour of her passing which was so amazing. They took such good care of our girl and when she came back home we had such a beautiful care package along with her paw prints and her remains in a beautiful box that was engraved with her name. Jillian and Alec are the absolute best! If I could rate them 10 stars ⭐️ I definitely would have for sure. We recommend them to everyone who wants the absolute best care for their furbaby in the end! You will be amazed with their services.

I recommend halo and wings. They did so well with our Ghost boy! he was only 5 when he passed away. Jill and Alec are both sweet, caring and compassionate people who will go beyond for you. When I got the phone call that Ghost passed away, my husband immediately called Alec and he was there within minutes to pick Ghost up and take care of him. I knew 100% that he was in good hands. such caring people and i would 100% recommend them for anyone else who lost a fur baby. We just lost our fur baby on 10/30/23 and Alec and his wife and team called on behalf of Smokey and walked me thru the process and how they are taking care of my boy. They are Fantastic! I would highly recommend them and unfortunately one day in the future I will probably need them but knowing that my baby is first and will be taken care of that is what matters.

I am so so pleased to say halo & wings are truly God sent. My Sandie girl was hit by a car. I called halo & wings and she was picked up and brought back within 2 days! I never even left my house. Quick response, very efficient time, and truly they are all bout your and your animal needs. I am so grateful for there genuine care and kind words, it means so much and my heart is so full. They have such a heart for animals and you know they are in good hands! Thank you again so much for everything you have done! Him and his wife are the sweetest! Definitely recommend for any hearts that are breaking!

I don't even know where to start. I received a call from the owner Alec checking in to see how I was doing the day after my sweet dog Brody went to heaven. He spent a good ten minutes talking with me about how him and his wife started this company because of the lack of care and compassion they received after losing their baby and they didn't want other people experiencing that during one of the worst moments of their lives. One of the hardest things I have ever had to do was leave Brody at the veterinary office after he had passed, as his momma it went against everything in my being since it's my job to make sure he is protected and safe. WONDERFUL! Compassionate, professional, kind and so much more! I had to say goodbye to my 12-yr old fur baby, Sadie, last week. The following day, after her passing, Alec called to lend his condolences. As devastating as it was to lose my baby, Alec's call made me feel very comforted and that Sadie was in good hands.I had delayed picking up her urn because of the finality of it all. However, when I did, I was brought to tears all over again because of the wonderful care Alec & Jillian had taken. A "Rainbow Bridge" card with a handwritten message and a lock of my baby's hair, a plaster mold with her paw print, a beautiful dark wood urn with an etched plaque and a keychain with her name. All of this was contained in a cloth tote which also included a Certificate of Cremation.Thank you Alec and Jillian for all your compassion and hard work. Warmest Blessings, Kaz S.

Let me start out by saying that losing your furbaby is one of the hardest things to go through, but when it’s unexpected it makes it even worse! I have had my fur baby’s cremated in the past by the vets arrangements and brought them back home to be with us. This time it was sudden and our Ghost kitty of 15 years passed here at home. Although we knew her time was near you can never be prepared for their loss. I looked up cremation services and found Halo & Wings and contacted them. They came out and picked her up within an hour of her passing which was so amazing. They took such good care of our girl and when she came back home we had such a beautiful care package along with her paw prints and her remains in a beautiful box that was engraved with her name. Jillian and Alec are the absolute best! If I could rate them 10 stars ⭐️ I definitely would have for sure. We recommend them to everyone who wants the absolute best care for their furbaby in the end! You will be amazed with their services.
