Legacy helped us in a very difficult time. Our four year old Doberman passed away suddenly. Legacy helped pick up our baby that night. They were very compassionate and helpful. We just picked up her ashes from her private cremation. The facility is beautiful and dignified. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby girl.Her paw print is perfect.

I highly recommend this crematorium. Firstly, the place is beautiful with many options for you to choose from. The staff were respectful and kind as I was obviously upset. I loved that I was able to stay connected with an online account that let me follow along with what was happening. It was also done in a timely manner. I brought my pet in on Saturday and was able to pick him up by Monday. When picking up, staff was once again very kind. My pet was presented to me with everything agreed upon. They also gave me a sympathy card with a wild flower heart to plant in honor of my pet.

Legacy Pet Crematory has been an incredible source of comfort during some of the most difficult moments in our lives. Over the past three years, we’ve had to say goodbye to three of our beloved pets, and the experience has been profoundly emotional. Knowing we could bring them here and eventually bring them home has made our grief a little more bearable.The care and dignity they provide to pets in their final moments is truly remarkable. Very caring and sympathetic. They went out of their way to help us. They seem to fully understand what it means to lose a cherished and loved pet. I can’t say enough good things about them. We were going to have to wait 5 days to get our fur baby’s ashes because of the Thanksgiving holiday but they went out of their way to help us and performed a special cremation to make sure we had him quickly, actually the next day. They can’t ever imagine how much we appreciated that. They were highly recommended by our Veterinarian.

Thank you so much for your service. I absolutely love the clay paw with the bone and hearts—it’s so cute, and it makes me feel like my baby is home with me again. However, I was under the impression that an account would be set up for me on the pet-parent portal to track my dog’s journey, but I never received one. I would still love to be able to access it and see my pet’s journey. Regardless, my love is now resting in peace, and I truly appreciate the comfort you’ve provided.

Legacy truly made this painful experience easier from beginning to end. Our Vet connected us with their facility, and what a beautiful, pristine facility!! Everyone we came in contact with was sincerely empathetic to our grief. They treated our precious Lola with the utmost care and respect. The attendant who assisted our private viewing was also wonderful during the process. We highly recommend having a beautiful private viewing and individual cremation with Legacy. And the cost was very reasonable. We can't thank them enough during this difficult time.

It was hard to let my beloved cat Guinness go. We knew it was her time. It took me a day to find the right Crematorium for her. I called and inquired. I was greeted by Christina very soft spoken and sympathetic. She explained to me how it works and what I would get. The price was very reasonable for a private cremation. Legacy Pet Crematory provided The utmost care in handling the cremation of my beloved cat Guinness. Both Anna and Christina were both very understanding and empathetic. Anna explained exactly what I would receive, and how I would be able to track Guinness final journey. I was told I would get the ashes of Guinness back no later than Wed. in a cherry box with certificate. I received a text at 3:49pm her ashes were ready on Tues. Everything went smooth. I felt very satisfied knowing that my cat Guinness was being handled with care. Excellent customer service. Thank you to both ladies and the guy who came out to take my cat Guinness inside.

From the moment I called I was greeted with concern and empathy. My fur baby passed very suddenly and quickly, I had to then break it to my son 10min later when he came off the bus. We were heartbroken, it was his first pet. From the moment I called I was greeted with care and understanding. When I dropped him off, everyone was empathetic and Alex who would take him from me for cremation was so kind and sensitive. Upon pick up o was greeted with more kindness and the beautiful package of my fur baby to take home, they really thought of it all and made us feel cared for. Today I had the unfortunate task of having my mother-in-laws cat cremated. But to my surprise, it was a beautiful experience and really helped put her at ease. Legacy is definitely the place to have your beloved pet put to rest. If you choose to have a little ceremony (which is available, private cremation) they really, really know how to make you feel great about it. The presentation was if it was a human viewing. With the unexpected passing of our family member “Trigga” I was confused as to what to do with him. Too cold to bury as the ground was frozen. I found Legacy while online searching and the experience was nothing short or amazing. When we brought him there a gentleman came to my vehicle to retrieve him (great support as we collectively were unable to life him due to grief). The woman at the front desk (so soft spoken and compassionate) took all of our information. Once our beloved animal was inside I made a small request to see him one last time and without hesitation we were escorted to a private viewing room where my daughter and I were able to say our “see you laters”. We were allowed as much time needed to spend with him. The overall process was quick. I received an email and logged in. I was able to track his progress throughout the entire process and on the website even found links for dealing with grief after the loss of our pet (my bonus son). We were able to make a video or his life as well. Within 24 hours he was ready and we immediately returned to collect his ashes in a beautiful mahogany colored urn. The engraved name plate is beautiful. The certificate was emotional yet comforting. The presentation of our baby left us much satisfied and with better spirits knowing he was treated with respect even thought some will say “hes just a dog”. But he was our dog. Our loved one. Our friend. Our protector. Our family. And i am truly grateful and thankful that I found Legacy. You have helped us through this transition seemelessly💜

A little over a week ago (October 20th, 2024 ~ 1AM), my sweet boy Balto passed away. Although these things are always tragic and hurt beyond words can express, I was fortunate to know that God had put amazing folks like Rich, Christina and Joe in my world to take care of my boy with LEGACY, kindness, understanding and GRACE.Balto was diagnosed with Anal Sarcoma on March 18th, 2024 and in April on a whim, I visited the crematory seeking guidance for when the time would come. I was met with a receptionist at the front desk who was wonderful and comforting with her words and gave me peace of mind pertaining to some sort of a plan for when the time would come.About a month or so ago, I was in the Farmingdale area and figured I'd stop in again to touch base (I am an overthinker and it's important to me that a plan be outlined for when the time came for Balto).When I got to the crematory, I was greeted very politely by Christina. She was so kind and understanding, she introduced me to Rich and we spoke for a lengthy amount of time which really made me feel safe and secure within the plan and the overall understanding that these were the folks who would be handling everything for my boy once he passes, and that meant the WORLD to me.When the time came and Balto passed away at home, I called the crematory, spoke with Rich and he assured me not to worry and within an hour later, I met Joe at my parents house and he handled everything with such care and empathy towards my family and I.Interestingly enough, the tracking app really helped to put me at ease even more because, although I am in the deathcare industry, my parents are not-- they needed/ wanted the updates whereas, I was just happy to know that everything was going to be OK. The tracker helped to give my grieving parents the emotional support they needed (very very good work guys!)When I got to the crematorium to pick up Baltos ashes, Christina was there with her kind and lovely self-- I could feel her genuine heartfelt emotions for me and I TRULY TRULY APPRECIATED THAT! CHRISTINA THANK YOU FOR FEELING WITH ME!RICH, YOU ARE AMAZING! I WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND AND REFER TO YOU! The class, standard and regard Legacy Pet Crematory showed my Balto (and myself), will never be forgotten. So difficult to say goodbye to your loved one. Ann made the process very comforting. From the moment we walked through the door, to the care given when removing our puppy from the vehicle, to the comfort of being with him in their chapel we were made to feel like family. The process was explained in its entirety with no questions left unanswered.This was the hardest thing we could ever have imagined, and just wanted our puppy to be in a safe and clean environment.One day later we received a message that his remains were ready to be picked up. From the minute I called Legacy I knew this was the place I would bring my beloved Fifi after she passed away in our home. The woman who handle everything for us at the front desk (sorry didn’t get her name ) was extremely caring and helpful with picking out what to put Fifi’s remains.They had beautiful displays of so many options. The place smelled amazing and was super clean as well as very welcoming considering what we were there for. We were happy that they do there cremation on premise unlike others I have researched. They had her ready within 2 days and she is now back with us. I highly recommend Legacy when your pets cross the rainbow bridge. They will be in good caring hands!! From the moment I called to inquire of their services to the time I picked up my beautiful 170-pound Irish Wolfhounds ashes - compassion, understanding and kindness was felt from all members of this wonderful family-owned business. Legacy is so compassionate during such a delicate and vulnerable time. My precious Yuki passed away at home sometime after midnight on Saturday. Everywhere was closed on Sundays, but not Legacy. I called and left a message but didn’t hear back. I’m not sure what happened there, maybe I wasn’t clear with my number as I was distraught. My dog did just die and unlike my last pet there was no vet handling things. But my partner called for me an hour or so later and was able to reach them. The man on the phone was kind and gave his condolences as we made the arrangements.When Chris arrived to pick up Yuki, I was taken back by the kindness he showed us during this vulnerable, heartbreaking time. He gave us time to say goodbye and asked if we wanted anything back. I had no idea… My baby got to go with her bed we placed her in, favorite blanket, prayer beads, our parting treats and favorite toy. They made sure we received her harness. It was beautiful to see Chris carry her out while she was still in her bed. He was so caring.I want to note that I called back several times to make changes or add things, such as for the name plate to include my dog’s last name and adding one of my dog’s toys to the cremation.. I know I was all over the place… I was and still am quite a wreck and like I said the vet handled my last pet. I’m blown away by Legacy’s patience during my grieving.. it means everything, I’ll never forget.When it came time to pick her up, the kind woman at the desk was also patient with my mother and I as we decided on smaller urns so we could each have one. They even put the ashes in the vessels for you, including the necklace! I had one for my dog Faline who passed in 2012 but we had to do it ourselves back then as I had ordered it online and honestly it added to the trauma.. I had such a bad experience with her in more ways than one, including the cremation. I wish she had received this care and it was cathartic for my Yuki to be treated with dignity. The fact they took the burden off us so we could have the necklace.. I’m so happy.My only complaint is I wish they advertised irreplaceable keepsakes better on their website.. they do paw prints with ink on paper and clay. It’s quite possible I missed it with all the emotions happening though! My vet tech friend reminded me to ask about them thankfully. I ask that maybe in their phone calls, they ask if the owner/caller would like paw prints, nose prints, or fur clippings. But anyhow! The paw prints are on a nice quality paper and sealed in an envelope with a striking gold paw emblem as the insignia sticker. The clay paw print comes with a stand to display. My baby had long nails so it’s cute to see it make it to the clay and ink prints.Thank you so much Legacy. You took care of my baby for us and helped me feel at peace with my sudden loss. So happy to have her home. I’ll recommend you to Yuki’s vet and every pet owner I know.Note: The name plate isn’t on yet as we are still thinking of where to place it. Nothing is wrong with it.

I'm not sure what I expected when I went to a "pet crematory" for my beloved pet. I have to say everything exceeded my expectations. The layout was beautiful, the staff was friendly, supportive and helpful. They laid out my options carefully, listened to my stories, had coffee for patrons, and offered a sympathetic ear. If anyone is looking for cremation as an option I recommend this place and would give more than 5 stars if I could. My experience was wonderful in what was a difficult time. Of course l hated to have to use them, as it meant my beloved little guy passed. But they were absolutely wonderful. He passed suddenly on the Saturday night before the super bowl right after a snow storm. l called at 330 am. They got back to me by 4:15 am and came to pick him up early in the morning. They were exceedingly compassionate and understanding of our grief. They did everything they said they would and treated my Koda with dignity and respect.

Legacy pet is amazing. The staff was very helpful from the moment I called them. Our family lost our rabbit Thumper and they handled everything with such care and love. On November 29th my fur baby passed away. Her name was Molly and she was 18 1/2 years old. She was the prettiest gray cat. I called Legacy Pet as soon as she passed and spoke to Christine who was so compassionate and made a very difficult time much easier. I wasn't able to get to their office before closing and she offered to have Chris come to my home to pick Molly up and I was so grateful. I had dealt with Chris 3 years ago when Molly's brother passed and he was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend Legacy Pet. They provided a great service. They had our baby back to us 2 days after she left us. We were given a beautiful box with a window slot for a picture and a certificate guaranteeing that our girl was cremated privately. My dog recently passed away. While researching a place for cremation for my beloved pet I came across Legacy pet crematory. Through the initial phone call to inquire about the process and pricing I could feel the empathy in the secretaries voice. She answered all my questions and concerns. The facility is very clean. The ambiance was very nice. She offered me the opportunity to sit in the chapel with my dog which I thought was nice. Overall, I would recommend this facility.

Today I had the unfortunate task of having my mother-in-laws cat cremated. But to my surprise, it was a beautiful experience and really helped put her at ease. With the unexpected passing of our family member “Trigga” I was confused as to what to do with him. Too cold to bury as the ground was frozen. I found Legacy while online searching and the experience was nothing short or amazing. When we brought him there a gentleman came to my vehicle to retrieve him (great support as we collectively were unable to life him due to grief). The woman at the front desk (so soft spoken and compassionate) took all of our information. Once our beloved animal was inside I made a small request to see him one last time and without hesitation we were escorted to a private viewing room where my daughter and I were able to say our “see you laters”. We were allowed as much time needed to spend with him. The overall process was quick. I received an email and logged in. I was able to track his progress throughout the entire process and on the website even found links for dealing with grief after the loss of our pet (my bonus son). We were able to make a video or his life as well. Within 24 hours he was ready and we immediately returned to collect his ashes in a beautiful mahogany colored urn. The engraved name plate is beautiful. The certificate was emotional yet comforting. The presentation of our baby left us much satisfied and with better spirits knowing he was treated with respect even thought some will say “hes just a dog”. But he was our dog. Our loved one. Our friend. Our protector. Our family. And i am truly grateful and thankful that I found Legacy. You have helped us through this transition seemelessly💜

A little over a week ago (October 20th, 2024 ~ 1AM), my sweet boy Balto passed away. Although these things are always tragic and hurt beyond words can express, I was fortunate to know that God had put amazing folks like Rich, Christina and Joe in my world to take care of my boy with LEGACY, kindness, understanding and GRACE.Balto was diagnosed with Anal Sarcoma on March 18th, 2024 and in April on a whim, I visited the crematory seeking guidance for when the time would come. I was met with a receptionist at the front desk who was wonderful and comforting with her words and gave me peace of mind pertaining to some sort of a plan for when the time would come.About a month or so ago, I was in the Farmingdale area and figured I'd stop in again to touch base (I am an overthinker and it's important to me that a plan be outlined for when the time came for Balto).When I got to the crematory, I was greeted very politely by Christina. She was so kind and understanding, she introduced me to Rich and we spoke for a lengthy amount of time which really made me feel safe and secure within the plan and the overall understanding that these were the folks who would be handling everything for my boy once he passes, and that meant the WORLD to me.When the time came and Balto passed away at home, I called the crematory, spoke with Rich and he assured me not to worry and within an hour later, I met Joe at my parents house and he handled everything with such care and empathy towards my family and I.Interestingly enough, the tracking app really helped to put me at ease even more because, although I am in the deathcare industry, my parents are not-- they needed/ wanted the updates whereas, I was just happy to know that everything was going to be OK. The tracker helped to give my grieving parents the emotional support they needed (very very good work guys!)When I got to the crematorium to pick up Baltos ashes, Christina was there with her kind and lovely self-- I could feel her genuine heartfelt emotions for me and I TRULY TRULY APPRECIATED THAT! From the moment we walked through the door, to the care given when removing our puppy from the vehicle, to the comfort of being with him in their chapel we were made to feel like family. Legacy pet cremation is the place to go when you lose your beloved pet. I had my chocolate lab rescue privately cremated there in December 2023. Because he was about 100lbs, I was unable to transport him so legacy came to my home and picked him up. The young man was so compassionate and handled my fur baby with such care! Once at Legacy, they explained the process to me with so much care and love and compassion..so just recently, when my sister lost her beloved rescue cat, I went back to Legacy to have her privately cremated. Again, Ann, who is at the front desk when you arrive is the warmest person you could ever hope for when you are arranging the cremation of your pet. I have another rescue dog and cat, and when it’s time for them to travel over the rainbow bridge, I will once again put them in the care of Legacy…

My world was turned upside down very unexpectedly and tragically Thursday night when I lost my fur baby in the middle of the night. I felt lost, upon calling my vet about cremation options I was essentially told they didn’t have time for me and it would “Inconvenience” them to bring my baby in. On a whim I called Legacy, a man answered promptly and as soon as he heard the crack in my voice his tone shifted to a heartfelt whisper offering his condolences and provided me with a quote over the phone. I was able to bring my baby in the same day, no appointment required. Upon going the woman at the counter offered the same gentle tone and helped guide me through the whole process. I felt cared for and really felt like I was able to trust them with my baby. I had a special request for the “paw print” as my baby was a Rat and I really wanted her tail impression, I was so beyond happy they were able to accommodate me. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome from such a tragedy. I can’t thank the staff enough for guiding me when I was at my lowest and allowing me to bring my baby back home.

I recently dealt with the difficult and devastating time in life of losing my pet. I'm happy that Legacy Pet Crematory was there to support me through this process. Everything was very easy, professional, and I am truly comforted to know that my pet's remains were handled with dignity and care. Setting up an appointment was a simple process online. I transported my pet there myself and they provided help with him from the car (they can also help with transportation/pick-up as needed). The staff was so supportive. The cost was very reasonable. A tracking system provides email/text notifications that keep you informed of the process. The remains were delivered in a beautiful wooden box with a nameplate, and there were other very nice urns on display to choose from. Losing a lifelong companion was hard enough. I couldn't have asked for an easier process, and I'm truly thankful for the services that they provide.

From the minute I called Legacy I knew this was the place I would bring my beloved Fifi after she passed away in our home. Legacy is so compassionate during such a delicate and vulnerable time. My precious Yuki passed away at home sometime after midnight on Saturday. Everywhere was closed on Sundays, but not Legacy. I called and left a message but didn’t hear back. I’m not sure what happened there, maybe I wasn’t clear with my number as I was distraught. My dog did just die and unlike my last pet there was no vet handling things. But my partner called for me an hour or so later and was able to reach them. The man on the phone was kind and gave his condolences as we made the arrangements.When Chris arrived to pick up Yuki, I was taken back by the kindness he showed us during this vulnerable, heartbreaking time. He gave us time to say goodbye and asked if we wanted anything back. I had no idea… My baby got to go with her bed we placed her in, favorite blanket, prayer beads, our parting treats and favorite toy. They made sure we received her harness. It was beautiful to see Chris carry her out while she was still in her bed. He was so caring.I want to note that I called back several times to make changes or add things, such as for the name plate to include my dog’s last name and adding one of my dog’s toys to the cremation.. I know I was all over the place… I was and still am quite a wreck and like I said the vet handled my last pet. I’m blown away by Legacy’s patience during my grieving.. it means everything, I’ll never forget.When it came time to pick her up, the kind woman at the desk was also patient with my mother and I as we decided on smaller urns so we could each have one. They even put the ashes in the vessels for you, including the necklace! I had one for my dog Faline who passed in 2012 but we had to do it ourselves back then as I had ordered it online and honestly it added to the trauma.. I had such a bad experience with her in more ways than one, including the cremation. I wish she had received this care and it was cathartic for my Yuki to be treated with dignity. The fact they took the burden off us so we could have the necklace.. I’m so happy.My only complaint is I wish they advertised irreplaceable keepsakes better on their website.. they do paw prints with ink on paper and clay. It’s quite possible I missed it with all the emotions happening though! My vet tech friend reminded me to ask about them thankfully. I ask that maybe in their phone calls, they ask if the owner/caller would like paw prints, nose prints, or fur clippings. But anyhow! The paw prints are on a nice quality paper and sealed in an envelope with a striking gold paw emblem as the insignia sticker. The clay paw print comes with a stand to display. My baby had long nails so it’s cute to see it make it to the clay and ink prints.Thank you so much Legacy. You took care of my baby for us and helped me feel at peace with my sudden loss. So happy to have her home. I’ll recommend you to Yuki’s vet and every pet owner I know.Note: The name plate isn’t on yet as we are still thinking of where to place it. Nothing is wrong with it.

I unfortunately, I’ve had to use the crematory three times this year as I’ve experienced a lot of pet loss. I was always treated with dignity and respect, regardless of how upset I was about my situation and I really appreciate that because grief is really hard.Most of staff does a really good job of being sympathetic and offering their condolences. Beautiful selection of urns and keepsakes for your furry companion.The One complaint I can make is that they wanted $200 from me to view my cat being cremated when I already paid over 200 just to have him privately cremated and the price for that isn’t listed anywhere on the site. I was under the impression it was included since i already paid for a private cremation. Kinda just feels like robbery considering death is already so expensive. I just don’t understand why I have to pay to watch my sweet boy move on to the next stage when I already paid for the service.

When my 17 year old Bichon Peanut passed away last week. I needed the comfort and security knowing his body would be handled with care and that the cremation process would be transparent. I had researched Legacy Pet prior to Peanut's passing so when the time came I was ready. I appreciate that they were able to clearly explain everything on the phone, they sent a driver shortly after Peanut had passed. My wife then decided she wanted to view the cremation and upgrade the urn, both things were were able to easily add to our package. From pickup to getting his ashes back, the process was smooth and we felt he was safe. I should also mention that their location was bright, modern and didn't feel like a human funeral home. Cremation is also on site, which is important. I would recommend Legacy to anyone in the area researching next steps for their pet's journey.

Of course l hated to have to use them, as it meant my beloved little guy passed. But they were absolutely wonderful. He passed suddenly on the Saturday night before the super bowl right after a snow storm. l called at 330 am. They got back to me by 4:15 am and came to pick him up early in the morning. We were devastated to lose our best friend!😪😪 We went elsewhere when we lost ourformer dog but weren’t happy with the callous attitudes of the employees there. This time we chose Legacy Pet Crematory in West Babylon. The friendly, caring, & helpful people at that facility made the day more tolerable. Legacy pet cremation is the place to go when you lose your beloved pet. I had my chocolate lab rescue privately cremated there in December 2023. Because he was about 100lbs, I was unable to transport him so legacy came to my home and picked him up. The young man was so compassionate and handled my fur baby with such care! Once at Legacy, they explained the process to me with so much care and love and compassion..so just recently, when my sister lost her beloved rescue cat, I went back to Legacy to have her privately cremated. Again, Ann, who is at the front desk when you arrive is the warmest person you could ever hope for when you are arranging the cremation of your pet. I have another rescue dog and cat, and when it’s time for them to travel over the rainbow bridge, I will once again put them in the care of Legacy…

My world was turned upside down very unexpectedly and tragically Thursday night when I lost my fur baby in the middle of the night. I felt lost, upon calling my vet about cremation options I was essentially told they didn’t have time for me and it would “Inconvenience” them to bring my baby in. On a whim I called Legacy, a man answered promptly and as soon as he heard the crack in my voice his tone shifted to a heartfelt whisper offering his condolences and provided me with a quote over the phone. I was able to bring my baby in the same day, no appointment required. Upon going the woman at the counter offered the same gentle tone and helped guide me through the whole process. I felt cared for and really felt like I was able to trust them with my baby. I had a special request for the “paw print” as my baby was a Rat and I really wanted her tail impression, I was so beyond happy they were able to accommodate me. I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome from such a tragedy. I can’t thank the staff enough for guiding me when I was at my lowest and allowing me to bring my baby back home.

I recently dealt with the difficult and devastating time in life of losing my pet. I'm happy that Legacy Pet Crematory was there to support me through this process. Everything was very easy, professional, and I am truly comforted to know that my pet's remains were handled with dignity and care. Setting up an appointment was a simple process online. I transported my pet there myself and they provided help with him from the car (they can also help with transportation/pick-up as needed). The staff was so supportive. The cost was very reasonable. A tracking system provides email/text notifications that keep you informed of the process. The remains were delivered in a beautiful wooden box with a nameplate, and there were other very nice urns on display to choose from. Losing a lifelong companion was hard enough. I couldn't have asked for an easier process, and I'm truly thankful for the services that they provide.

I called them shortly after I lost my dog due to congestive heart failure. The woman on the phone made everything so simple. They sent Eric to pick up my dog, he was there in an hour. 2 days later they sent me a message saying Brutus was ready to be pick ed up. Our sweet Gabana health was failing & we had to make the difficult decision to put her to sleep. We brought our sweet girl to Legacy to cremate her. I unfortunately, I’ve had to use the crematory three times this year as I’ve experienced a lot of pet loss. I was always treated with dignity and respect, regardless of how upset I was about my situation and I really appreciate that because grief is really hard.Most of staff does a really good job of being sympathetic and offering their condolences. Beautiful selection of urns and keepsakes for your furry companion.The One complaint I can make is that they wanted $200 from me to view my cat being cremated when I already paid over 200 just to have him privately cremated and the price for that isn’t listed anywhere on the site. I was under the impression it was included since i already paid for a private cremation. Kinda just feels like robbery considering death is already so expensive. I just don’t understand why I have to pay to watch my sweet boy move on to the next stage when I already paid for the service.

When my 17 year old Bichon Peanut passed away last week. I needed the comfort and security knowing his body would be handled with care and that the cremation process would be transparent. I had researched Legacy Pet prior to Peanut's passing so when the time came I was ready. I appreciate that they were able to clearly explain everything on the phone, they sent a driver shortly after Peanut had passed. My wife then decided she wanted to view the cremation and upgrade the urn, both things were were able to easily add to our package. From pickup to getting his ashes back, the process was smooth and we felt he was safe. I should also mention that their location was bright, modern and didn't feel like a human funeral home. Cremation is also on site, which is important. I would recommend Legacy to anyone in the area researching next steps for their pet's journey.

The team at Legacy were so caring and compassionate during such a heartbreaking time. Sofia was exceptionally warm and thoughtful. She really helped put me at ease right from the beginning. It was my first time using Legacy after having used another crematorium for my other furry family members but I heard they started to lose that “personal touch” after a change in ownership. In fact, when I called that place first, I never even got a live person and I was just put into an automated system waiting for someone to pick me up out of a queue. That’s when I tried Legacy based on the favorable reviews and pictures of the facility online. Sofia answered the phone right away and in our brief conversation, I knew it was the right place for me and my little baby girl just by the way she spoke and genuinely recognized how painfully difficult and sensitive of a time it was. The gentleman that assisted me when it was time to prepare to say goodbye were also so patient and thoughtful. I will treasure everything they provided and how they did it. My name is Janice and I just had an experience losing my dear cat that I've had for many many years I lost her Thanksgiving morning we called Legacy pet Crematory and they answered very compassion he told us to bring her down the next morning and someone will take care of us that's exactly what we did and let me tell you the experience that I've had was nothing like any other they made you feel so warmth welcome like you were part of their family they explained to us everything step by step what they were going to do and made me feel very comfortable and at ease knowing my pet was somewhere and being treated so respectful I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff the way they handled themselves along with handling us was way and Beyond when my cat was ready they called and said take your time and you can pick her up whenever you would like I thought that was so nice of them still making me feel them taking care of my animal and making my mind at ease knowing she was well taken care of from the minute I left her there until the minute I picked her up so if anybody wants to review let me tell you I would recommend them to everyone they did such a lovely job in returning her with a beautiful saying and card that was so heartwarming so when the time for your pet to reach the other side of the rainbow please don't hesitate call Legacy pet cremation and they will take care of you way and Beyond and you will feel peace of mind thank you

The experience is gentle and seemingly compassionate. But the first time I had my cat, Goldie, cremated here, it took three days to get him back, which I can only hope I have my baby, Goldie in the urn and not a mixed bunch when I asked for a private cremation, seeing that it took sooo long. However, the second time I lost my baby, Jack, it only took a few hours before he was returned to me; however I appreciate their affordable rates and compassionate nature.

My husband just left and I was so alone so I called Legacy Pet Crematorium and the guy Richie was so nice so sweet with me and took down all my information and had 2 two really nice gentlemen come out as soon as they could to pick up my buddy and they did it right away. Legacy Crematory was so compassionate at such a difficult time for me. The staff was so professional, yet caring & friendly at the same time. They contacted me to let me know that my Hershey was ready to be picked up and was so kind in every way possible. I highly recommend them when it’s time for your pets passing.

I called them shortly after I lost my dog due to congestive heart failure. The woman on the phone made everything so simple. They sent Eric to pick up my dog, he was there in an hour. 2 days later they sent me a message saying Brutus was ready to be pick ed up. Anyone who has lost a pet knows that in the time of mourning the last thing you want to do is make arrangements for your dog to be cremated. I am very happy with there service

Our sweet Gabana health was failing & we had to make the difficult decision to put her to sleep. We brought our sweet girl to Legacy to cremate her. The staff Richard, Robin & Chris were so understanding, kind & professional. On the day of cremation they led us to a room where our sweet Gabana was laid out on her favorite blanket with her resting on a pillow & her favorite toy tucked in her paws. They gave us time to sit with her & say our last goodbye. They treated her with such gentle care that day It’s so hard to let go of a pet & they just put our minds at ease. Gillian, our 14.5 year old German shepherd departed us sadly this past Monday night at 10:30 PM. When we had discovered that she had peacefully passed in her sleep, we were filled with sadness and anxiety since this was the first time going through this unfortunate experience.We called Legacy and they gave our family the reassurance we needed in a time of distraught. Within an hour, Chris arrived at our home and made sure to give our family enough time and space necessary. He answered any questions we had and made the step clear and easy to follow. Most importantly, he handled Gillian with the care and respect that put our family at ease.The cremation process took a couple days, and during those days we were able to track where Gillian is in the process using the tracker on their website. When picked up Gillian at the Legacy Pet Crematory location, the lobby had a calming, quiet, and clean atmosphere.The emotional ordeal to bring closure to the lost of a beloved family member was made as pain free as possible with the experience that Legacy provided. The team at Legacy were so caring and compassionate during such a heartbreaking time. Sofia was exceptionally warm and thoughtful. She really helped put me at ease right from the beginning. It was my first time using Legacy after having used another crematorium for my other furry family members but I heard they started to lose that “personal touch” after a change in ownership. In fact, when I called that place first, I never even got a live person and I was just put into an automated system waiting for someone to pick me up out of a queue. That’s when I tried Legacy based on the favorable reviews and pictures of the facility online. Sofia answered the phone right away and in our brief conversation, I knew it was the right place for me and my little baby girl just by the way she spoke and genuinely recognized how painfully difficult and sensitive of a time it was. The gentleman that assisted me when it was time to prepare to say goodbye were also so patient and thoughtful. I will treasure everything they provided and how they did it. I thank all of them for their genuine kindness which will never be forgotten.

My dog/soulmate, Simba, of 12.5 years passed away and Legacy was wonderful to me and my family… this is a tragic and horrible time for all of us and they were so compassionate and thoughtful. The vibes in here were full of a lot of love and care. I felt comfortable leaving Simba with them before the funeral because Robin said she treats every pet that comes in there like her own. We lost our little buddy of 15 years somewhat unexpectedly (we knew he wasn’t doing well and he had a vet appointment that weekend) on Thursday. After some consideration, my boyfriend & I decided to get him cremated. We had never done this process so I shopped around a bit to see my options. Legacy was one of the places I called, I unfortunately didn’t get names but the woman who I spoke to on the phone was very kind. As morbid as it sounds, I know pet deaths are crematories business and they’ve dealt with this a lot but one of the main reasons I chose Legacy over other crematories is because the women on the phone was the only person I spoke to out of multiple places that said “I’m sorry for your loss” and it just stuck with me.We dropped him off on Thursday and everyone was very nice. The man who came out to take our bud for the final time was very sympathetic and patient while we said our final goodbyes and also expressed his condolences. They had told us it would be 3-5 business days before we could pick him up which was okay, but we ended up picking him up the same day which was a nice surprise.For as awful of an experience as it was to lose our best friend, Legacy made it as easy as possible for us for the final steps and we couldn’t be more grateful. We now have our bud back home in his beautiful new form, thanks to Legacy. In the nicest way possible, I hope I never have to come back under the circumstances but being that I have more pets, I know the unfortunate time will come and when it does, they will be sent to Legacy as their brother did to be taken care of one last time💛Thank you again to the Legacy family.

They are the sweetest group of people. They were very respectful and you can tell how much they care about you and more importantly your pet. They made the process of grief easier (even though it’s never really easy) but it was nice knowing theres a place with this much love and empathy towards pet companionship. Legacy Pet Crematory was amazing in a time of stress. The facility was nicely decorated and had a welcoming and calming effect even though bringing your fur baby there is obviously a sad occasion. My name is Janice and I just had an experience losing my dear cat that I've had for many many years I lost her Thanksgiving morning we called Legacy pet Crematory and they answered very compassion he told us to bring her down the next morning and someone will take care of us that's exactly what we did and let me tell you the experience that I've had was nothing like any other they made you feel so warmth welcome like you were part of their family they explained to us everything step by step what they were going to do and made me feel very comfortable and at ease knowing my pet was somewhere and being treated so respectful I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff the way they handled themselves along with handling us was way and Beyond when my cat was ready they called and said take your time and you can pick her up whenever you would like I thought that was so nice of them still making me feel them taking care of my animal and making my mind at ease knowing she was well taken care of from the minute I left her there until the minute I picked her up so if anybody wants to review let me tell you I would recommend them to everyone they did such a lovely job in returning her with a beautiful saying and card that was so heartwarming so when the time for your pet to reach the other side of the rainbow please don't hesitate call Legacy pet cremation and they will take care of you way and Beyond and you will feel peace of mind thank you

The experience is gentle and seemingly compassionate. But the first time I had my cat, Goldie, cremated here, it took three days to get him back, which I can only hope I have my baby, Goldie in the urn and not a mixed bunch when I asked for a private cremation, seeing that it took sooo long. However, the second time I lost my baby, Jack, it only took a few hours before he was returned to me; however I appreciate their affordable rates and compassionate nature.

I lost my 10 yr old puppy 125 pound pitty mush)Tuesday morning. He passed away at home after being really sick and in the hospital I was so upset. My husband just left and I was so alone so I called Legacy Pet Crematorium and the guy Richie was so nice so sweet with me and took down all my information and had 2 two really nice gentlemen come out as soon as they could to pick up my buddy and they did it right away. They called me the next day and said he was ready to be picked up. I unexpectedly lost my little girl Daisy, a beautiful tiger tabby at only 4 years old. I called Pet Legacy to figure out what to do with her and the gentleman I spoke with was the most kindest soft spoken gentleman. Upon arrival with my cat I went into the office and we started speaking, he saw I was visibly upset and with fighting my battle with cancer I really did not want have to deal with this or any added stress in my life right now. This company went above and beyond for us. Our Roo was the love of our lives. We put her down and we wanted to drive her to the crematory. They opened for us by appointment on Memorial Day so that we could drop off Roo. Robyn was so friendly and made a very sad day more tolerable. They also gave us a lock of Roos hair and a paw print. They said her ashes would be ready in 5 business days, but they called us to pick up the ashes in 2 days. The facility is clean, and beautifully set up. I would recommend them to anyone. Rich, Karen and the entire staff was truly and honestly sympathetic; could not asked for better personnel. From the moment we walked in the door until we left with our beloved cat. If you are seeking a crematory for your pet, most definitely look no further! You will be placed at ease and your pet will be taken care of as if you were doing it yourself!

They are the sweetest group of people. They were very respectful and you can tell how much they care about you and more importantly your pet. They made the process of grief easier (even though it’s never really easy) but it was nice knowing theres a place with this much love and empathy towards pet companionship. I got my pet back into my home within 24 hours. I highly recommend them.

Legacy Pet Crematory was amazing in a time of stress. The facility was nicely decorated and had a welcoming and calming effect even though bringing your fur baby there is obviously a sad occasion. They all offered their condolences and were soft spoken. The urn, certificate, and thoughtful note with pressed flowers to plant in memory of your pet was a very nice touch. I already recommended them to my family and friends should the unfortunate need arise.

This is the most wonderful place to go to when it is time to have your beloved companion cared for at the end of their life. The staff is so kind and compassionate. They help to make this difficult time as simple as possible.They also charge a reasonable amount for their services.I cannot recommend this company enough. I unfortunately have used them 2x so far. I unexpectedly lost my little girl Daisy, a beautiful tiger tabby at only 4 years old. I called Pet Legacy to figure out what to do with her and the gentleman I spoke with was the most kindest soft spoken gentleman. Upon arrival with my cat I went into the office and we started speaking, he saw I was visibly upset and with fighting my battle with cancer I really did not want have to deal with this or any added stress in my life right now. He said please take care of you and get well we will call you when Daisy is ready. Please don’t worry we will take care of this for you. I can’t thank them enough for this morning and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND reaching out if you need to for your fur babies

Our guy Cooper was the center of our universe. In my mind no one would or could take care of him like we do. He passed on 4/4/2023. I took a chance on Legacy and wow, I’m so glad I did. We recently had to help our 12 year old Boxer Roxy cross the rainbow bridge. Like most pet owners we love her like a child. I was adamant that she have a private cremation. Legacy was highly recommended by a friend. We are beyond grateful that we took her recommendation. From the minute we arrived at Legacy we were handled with the utmost understanding and compassion. I was a bit surprised when my husband told me we would be having a viewing when we arrived, that being said I wouldn’t have had it any other way. We got to see and touch our girl one last time before her cremation. It means so much to us that we had that extra time with her. We were never rushed they gave us all the time we needed.Robin at the desk was so helpful and understanding, she traded stories with us about her animals and encouraged us to do the same. This may sound crazy but they were able to take a very somber emotional occasion and turn it into a lovely positive experience and we were able to bring our Roxy home that same day.The love and respect our girl was shown was greatly appreciated.Thank you to everyone at Legacy we appreciate all you did,The Chalupski Family 🐾

We just lost our beloved chihuahua, and there are no words to say just how wonderful they were. You can immediately feel their heartfelt compassion. Everyone there was wonderful, and you are able to stay updated every step of the way. The price is amazing, and shows that they are not taking advantage of people at such a difficult time, as other places do. This was a 30 min drive for me vs a place 5 min away, but it was worth it in every way. I recommend them to anyone on Long Island facing the difficult situation of pet loss. First time using them and now I'll never go anywhere else!

We lost our beloved Benji. He was the sweetestand most wonderful little shih tzu. With ableeding heart saying goodbye was the hardestthing for me to do. The animal hospital wasgoing to ship him to another state and I couldn'tbare to know he would be moved around likethat. I called Legacy and they were closed butthey called me back after I left a message withthe answering service and they helped me makearrangements and make all theaccommodations immediately. The Legacyteam was amazing, Robin is so sweet, Richardand Chris was great too. I arranged a privateviewing and the facility is so nice and clean.That made me feel so much better knowing mylittle Ben was well taken care of. Robin help meselect a beautiful urn (they include one) but Iwanted something special for my little guy. Thankyou Robin, Richard and Chris. I highlyrecommend them. This company went above and beyond for us. Our Roo was the love of our lives. We put her down and we wanted to drive her to the crematory. They opened for us by appointment on Memorial Day so that we could drop off Roo. Robyn was so friendly and made a very sad day more tolerable. They also gave us a lock of Roos hair and a paw print. They said her ashes would be ready in 5 business days, but they called us to pick up the ashes in 2 days. The facility is clean, and beautifully set up. I would recommend them to anyone. It’s a family owned and operated business where they actually care. Thank you for everything.
