My Mother had planned on a funeral elsewhere, until she went to a service at Bagozzi’s. In 2021, we met with Si and went through the pre-planning service. It was comforting for my Mother to know this was taken care of.When her time came, we felt relief and peace that she was an angel and also felt that peace and relief knowing how Bagozzi’s was going to treat her - with dignity and respect.Si was incredible. He made sure every detail was perfect. He was always available for questions. He guided us and told us what to expect. He made us feel like we were the only family he was serving. My father passed away about a month ago. Si and his team took care of all the arrangements and did so with kindness, empathy, responsiveness and warmth. I really can’t say enough about how these folks made a really sad and terrible situation tolerable. Bagozzi Twins also handled the final arrangements for my brother in 2015, and even though it was almost 9 years ago, I remember being equally as impressed then as I am now. Si is a nice person. It takes a special type of human to be a funeral director, and Si - along with everyone at Bagozzi Twins, made sure my father was laid to rest beautifully and memorably. Every last detail was attended to, details I didn’t even know about at the time. I asked a lot of questions and was admittedly very particular about how I wanted everything to go, and they didn’t miss a beat. Si served as the “traffic cop” and interfaced with all the ancillary organizations (e.g., cemetery, newspaper, etc.), which made things easier on me. He made recommendations but did so with softness and delicacy. For a couple weeks, it felt like Si was part of our family. The final result was services that were beautiful and paid a wonderful tribute to my Dad’s memory. Not only would I recommend Bagozzi Twins without reservation, I would do so with sheer enthusiasm. They are good people who do great work during a family’s most difficult time. Hire them - you won’t regret it.

I truly cannot express how wonderful Si, Kristen and the rest of the Bagozzi team were to deal with when handling my father's funeral. From day one, everyone was so warm, loving and professional. I worked with Steve Bagozzi to plan my mom's funeral arrangements and was continuously impressed by his professionalism and organization and at how immaculate the facilities are. You can tell that Steve and his sister dedicate a lot of their time to the upkeep of the property and into making sure that the process is seamless on their end. I was truly blown away however when I realized just how much effort they put into the personal touches for family members. They had booklets created using my mom's photo with facts about her year of birth to be distributed at her services. They laminated the calling cards and obituaries for my siblings and I. And they even customized a candle with her photo and the phrase we used for her calling card. These little touches were so appreciated and will be cherished with my mom's memory for years to come. Throughout the whole week of planning, Steve did not ask me for payment once, instead, he asked what type of hair and makeup my mom would want and made sure to accommodate her request with a touch of purple eyeshadow. I brought up payment several times and he said we would take care of it later, I believe that is a true testament to the type of man he is and shows that first and foremost, he cares about his clients and making sure that they have a beautiful memorial service. I highly recommend Bagozzi Twins!

My ninety-year-old aunt recently passed, without preparing any pre-arrangements. Due to the flexibility provided by a local hospital mortuary, I had time to shop, more appropriately interview a few funeral homes. The two attributes most important to me were price and professionalism. Pricing was comparable between all three funeral homes I was considering, including Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home. When I called Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home, during regular business hours, I didn’t know much about them, other than a couple of very small wakes I had attended over several years. Not knowing much about Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and not knowing or receiving any personal recommendations for Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home, I thought my meeting with Steve (Si) Bagozzi would be nothing more than a pricing exercise. In our initial meeting Steve’s level of professionalism surpassed any of his competitors. Si’s suggestions, ideas and details made me comfortable and confident that our plans would meet my aunt’s expectations. With Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home assistance my aunt’s funeral felt warm, comfortable, and solemn. I will be meeting with Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home again. Hopefully not anytime in the near future. Where do I start — from the moment I called to the second I picked up my Brother Kenneth Mincer’s remains - I knew I chose the BEST place. At the worst time in our lives, the sudden death of a child, this company took such good care of us. Never once did we ever feel that we were making a cold and calculated business decision but rather, we felt that we were in the care of a good friend as Steve and his staff guided us through the grieving and funeral process. I felt the need to share this. Having never been through a death in our family, when my mom passed away, I did not know how to proceed or even who to call. On a whim I took the advice of a friend and called Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home. It was 4:30 in the morning. Their answering service was very concerned and delicate (considering the emotional state my family was in). Si Bagozzi called me right back and from there on we were in the best possible hands. He instructed me who to call, and once they became directly involved it was all made easy for my family and I. Even meeting to arrange for my mother's final wishes, Si and his team were thoughtful, helpful and went out of their way to make the experience as painless as could be managed. They even tried to help my military family members (overseas) who could not be here, providing them with obits and death certificates that would allow them to get time off for bereavement. Si even helped me with my mother's obituary. The entire experience was so easy and the entire time I felt like Si and company were there for us and they made us feel like we were the only thing on their agenda. Even the follow up to everything went well and I left the funeral home feeling endeared to the Bagozzi Team for taking something so horrible and finding the ease and comfort that exists in a loved ones passing. I can't recommend them enough. I hope that when people are doing a search of reviews, they see this one first, as I can't imagine a better team out there for this type of service. I was very impressed. I recommend them HIGHLY!

Si and his team at Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home did a wonderful job arranging the details of my mom's service. She was living in Rochester at the time of her death and needed to be transported back to Syracuse. Si handled all of the details of this. Given the Covid situation, Si was able to accommodate the close members of my family to provide us comfort. My mother was quite ill at the time of her death and had lost quite a bit of weight. She also had very long hair and her nails were bad due to services being closed! Si's team did a wonderful job making her look like the mom we remembered. I can't thank the Bagozzi team enough for handling the arrangements of my mom's service.

I have been telling my father that we should pre-plan his funeral for about two years now. Alas, when he passed away somewhat suddenly last week, no arrangements had been made. No cemetery. No casket. No services. I would have been completely lost if not for Si Bagozzi and the staff at Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home. Everything I needed was explained and organized for me so I could focus my efforts on my family. While there are a tremendous amount of options from which you can choose, I never felt overwhelmed or forced to purchase anything we didn't need or want. Times like this are difficult enough as it is. My family and I are so grateful that we did not have to worry about giving our Dad a proper sendoff.

Death in the time of COVID-19 is never easy, but Sy and his staff at Bagozzis made it as comforting as possible. Everything went so smoothly despite our inability to be there in person.I'm on the West Coast, and had to deal with a lot of paperwork via email and phone calls and that was all handled with grace and professionalism. Of course, I'd never done anything like this before, but I never felt like I was being rushed.Because my mother had elected for cremation, we decided to hold her urn and wait until the family and everyone who knew and loved her can gather to celebrate her life. We got no pressure to do otherwise, and we really appreciated that.There's a reason Bagozzi's has been a Solvay instituation for as long as it has. They truly care about the families they serve.

Both Si and his staff added a personal touch and sense of dignity to the entire process. Even though I needed to plan from Minnesota, Si was very accessible and reassuring throughout the planning. If my Mom were alive to see the entire funeral, she would have been very very very pleased.

My ninety-year-old aunt recently passed, without preparing any pre-arrangements. Due to the flexibility provided by a local hospital mortuary, I had time to shop, more appropriately interview a few funeral homes. The two attributes most important to me were price and professionalism. Pricing was comparable between all three funeral homes I was considering, including Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home. When I called Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home, during regular business hours, I didn’t know much about them, other than a couple of very small wakes I had attended over several years. Not knowing much about Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and not knowing or receiving any personal recommendations for Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home, I thought my meeting with Steve (Si) Bagozzi would be nothing more than a pricing exercise. In our initial meeting Steve’s level of professionalism surpassed any of his competitors. Si’s suggestions, ideas and details made me comfortable and confident that our plans would meet my aunt’s expectations. With Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home assistance my aunt’s funeral felt warm, comfortable, and solemn. I will be meeting with Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home again. Hopefully not anytime in the near future. I felt the need to share this. Having never been through a death in our family, when my mom passed away, I did not know how to proceed or even who to call. On a whim I took the advice of a friend and called Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home. It was 4:30 in the morning. Their answering service was very concerned and delicate (considering the emotional state my family was in). Si Bagozzi called me right back and from there on we were in the best possible hands. He instructed me who to call, and once they became directly involved it was all made easy for my family and I. Even meeting to arrange for my mother's final wishes, Si and his team were thoughtful, helpful and went out of their way to make the experience as painless as could be managed. They even tried to help my military family members (overseas) who could not be here, providing them with obits and death certificates that would allow them to get time off for bereavement. Si even helped me with my mother's obituary. The entire experience was so easy and the entire time I felt like Si and company were there for us and they made us feel like we were the only thing on their agenda. Even the follow up to everything went well and I left the funeral home feeling endeared to the Bagozzi Team for taking something so horrible and finding the ease and comfort that exists in a loved ones passing. I can't recommend them enough. I hope that when people are doing a search of reviews, they see this one first, as I can't imagine a better team out there for this type of service. I was very impressed. I recommend them HIGHLY!

She was living in Rochester at the time of her death and needed to be transported back to Syracuse. Si handled all of the details of this. Given the Covid situation, Si was able to accommodate the close members of my family to provide us comfort. My mother was quite ill at the time of her death and had lost quite a bit of weight. She also had very long hair and her nails were bad due to services being closed! Si's team did a wonderful job making her look like the mom we remembered. The first time was with the sudden death of my son 9 years ago and just recently again, with the death of my daughter.Si is so kind and caring and he truly cares about how you are feeling and what you want for your loved one.The moment my daughter passed away, I didn’t know what to do next , so I called Si and he calmed me down and explain what needed to be done. During that morning he called to check on me several times to make sure that I was ok. Steve and staff are professional, courteous and pay attention to detail.They took their time with us and never felt rushed. They returned phone calls and emails in a timely manner. The costs were clearly explained and all questions answered. There were no surprises as far as payment and we believe the costs were fair and reasonable. The contract was clear and we paid exactly what we expected to pay, and no attempts whatsoever to up-sell or push options not desired. Most importantly, we could have a conversation with Steve and rely on his experience. In the end, we made our own choices with no pressure.

I have been telling my father that we should pre-plan his funeral for about two years now. Alas, when he passed away somewhat suddenly last week, no arrangements had been made. No cemetery. Death in the time of COVID-19 is never easy, but Sy and his staff at Bagozzis made it as comforting as possible. Everything went so smoothly despite our inability to be there in person.I'm on the West Coast, and had to deal with a lot of paperwork via email and phone calls and that was all handled with grace and professionalism. Of course, I'd never done anything like this before, but I never felt like I was being rushed.Because my mother had elected for cremation, we decided to hold her urn and wait until the family and everyone who knew and loved her can gather to celebrate her life. The costs were clearly explained and all questions answered. There were no surprises as far as payment and we believe the costs were fair and reasonable. The contract was clear and we paid exactly what we expected to pay, and no attempts whatsoever to up-sell or push options not desired. Most importantly, we could have a conversation with Steve and rely on his experience. In the end, we made our own choices with no pressure.

Nancy Toscano & I were very pleased with the services provided. Si took care of all our needs and requests. Dealing with the COVID-19 issues, we didn't want to expose anyone to personal gatherings.
