Howie was definitely very supportive and hes very passionate about what he does! He treated us like family and offered any help he could.. For a young mom burying a child, he made it as easy as possible for me..

Today was my first time at Van Rensselaer &Son. Simply the best caring people. Howie and Ray were so kind and made me feel like I was at an old friends house. I was the Pastor and conducting a memorial service. Howie was so concerned about the family and their loss that he asked if he could pray for me that the Holy Spirit would use and guide me so that healing would begin for the family.In all the years I have been a Pastor this is the very first time a Funeral Director joined in prayer. Extremely powerful and a blessing to the family and myself. Christian owned business should be lifted up and supported. God Bless.

Dealing with the death of a loved one is such a difficult experience. I have had two deaths in two months. The first one had extenuating circumstances, and I did not know how to have closure. Howie eased my grief and took it upon himself to finalize everything. The next death was hard as it was my Mom. Howie has such compassion for details, an eye for beauty, and a flare for peace. His professionalism and character are of the highest quality. I am so thankful for Howie Van Rensselaer and the services that he provides. I have been blessed!
