Losing my Abby after 14 years was the most difficult time of my life. She passed at 6:20 am on Oct 14th. That was 4 days after her 14th birthday. It was just her and me. I knew I wanted her cremated and I knew I needed her to be picked up. I filled out forms prior to Pet Passages even being open but got a phone call soon after they opened to arrange a pickup time. Sammy picked her up and was so kind. There was no rush for him to leave with Abby. He wanted us to take as much time as we needed to say goodbye to her. I was able to see the steps of her cremation on the site and received a very kind phone call on the 16th saying she was ready to come back home. As hard as this all was, Pet Passages was so kind and caring and helped make such a difficult time easier.

We lost our sweet Bruster at 4 years old. I knew I wanted to keep him close so I choose cremation. I selected this place based off of reviews and all the personalized items that came back home with you. I was super emotional when I dropped Bruster off and I was met with compassion and understanding. It was easy to leave Bruster In good hands. Less than 2 days later I picked Bruster up and he came home in a beautiful wooden box with a paw print and nose print. Definitely recommended this place and their caring people.

Phenomenal service, I can’t recommend them enough. I prepaid for services and they were by my side the entire time once that horrible day came. They picked our baby up from the vets office, fully included in my package. I will take our little love bug home in a beautifully engraved wooden urn, her memory immortalized in a photo frame with her paw print and birthstone, and each of us will have a beautiful piece of jewelry that carries our beloved pup wherever we go. 18 years of love, fun and snuggles captured so beautifully. I can’t thank Pet Passages enough, thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our baby girl during her final journey. Your support means the world during such a hard time.

We didn't have a lot of direct communication with Pet Passages, but if my vet trusts them, I do, too. And I've heard from being a dog person that they are the one you want to use if you are given a choice. The loss of a pet is such an incredibly painful experience. When I lost my dog the thought of a stranger handling body her just didn't feel right to me personally. We are so appreciative and grateful that we found Pet Passages in Ontario, NY. From the first call to them to picking up our Lilah’s cremains was handled with love, compassion, dignity and respect – not just for us, but much more importantly for Lilah. Andrea and Mike were so caring and kind. I also want to mention and thank Brian who helped transport Lilah from the car to the private viewing room and was extremely caring and gentle with her. They are pet lovers themselves and it shows in everything they do. They never rushed us and let us spend as much time in our last moments with her as we wanted. The facility is beautiful and peaceful as well as being very professional and proficient. They have a tracking system to ensure you receive your pet’s cremains, which they completed and had her back to us with a couple of days. Having the option to get a clay imprint of her paw as well as the other special touches they provide – nose and paw prints - was priceless to us. When I picked her up, I decided to purchase an urn, and have it engraved – which they do right on site and only took a few minutes. I am so glad I did. It is beautiful. Dealing directly with Pet Passages showed us that there is an invaluable service for our four-legged family members that can help you through a difficult time in such a caring, dignified and compassionate way. Pet Passages was very thoughtful. We received the cremains of our good old dog in a very nice bag and also small folder cards with a paw print and a nose print. The nose print was something I’d never seen done before and it’s very sweet. Our guy was sick but mostly was broken hearted that his devoted owner had passed away a month previously. Their ashes will be combined and scattered together someday soon. Pet Passages made this an easy process while we were mourning both owner and pet.

Pet Passages was very compassionate, considerate and thoughtful during a difficult time. They, along with Laps of Love gave our dog Cody the dignity of being able to pass at home. We would certainly recommend both of them to anyone who’s pet is failing and ready to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking. Pet Passages really helped us say good-bye As soon as Mikey arrived at their facility we received an email he was there. That was so comforting. Within 48 hours we received a call to come and pick him up. So the time without him was very short. The beautiful box he came home in, the nose and paw prints are all very dear to us. And what a loving surprise when we opened his box to find a lovely blue velvet bag with a sweet quote that holds his remains. Their compassion really supported us during such a hard time.

Beautiful facility with very caring staff, they were wonderful during such a difficult time. They are not well equipped to handle a giant breed dog, which was difficult to witness (gurney and door opening too small, dog almost fell off gurney), but I also understand that my dog is not the norm. Otherwise it was a really great experience, affordable, and would definitely use them again!

Very sympathetic and was available on Saturday. The room for us to say our goodbyes was nicer than some funeral homes. Our Jake passed away at the emergency vet on Friday night and we were able to get him and bring him to Pet Passages early Saturday afternoon. The price for their services are very reasonable.

So our baby girl bailey was diagnosed with breast cancer and was only given 3 months to live. She survived about 3 months before her quality of life began to fade. I originally had it planned to have a lady come to our home to help with the passing of our little girl. But I had picked pet passages as the place for her cremation based on reviews and the description of the remembrance package they offer. There was an issue with the scheduling of the lady that was supposed to come to our home for the actual euthanization. I called pet passages and we were scheduled to come in 2 days later. After the lady came in to give our Bailey her medicine to help ease her passing, she got up and put a beautiful sunflower 🌻 on her. It was a moment I will never forget. She went as peacefully as I could have ever imagined. What comes next is just as great. Pet passages had our Bailey ready for us the next day in a beautiful velvet pouch in a nice wooden urn with her name inscribed on the top. They provided paw impressions with her birthstone. Paw prints on a card. A nose print on a card. And even seeds that we plan to plant with our 5 year old in the spring to honor Bailey even farther. We were never rushed from the moment we entered until the moment we decided to leave. This was my first experience dealing with this kind of loss as an adult. Pet passages gave me and my family as much comfort and closure as we could possibly hope for. Not to mention that during covid-19, our own vet only allows one person in and there were 3 of us that wanted to be present for Bailey. They allowed all of us and more if we wanted to. They have total understanding and compassion for what they do there and I can never thank them enough for making this horrible situation as good as it could be. I encourage everyone to do the remembrance package. I will be a lifetime patron of pet passages without a doubt.A big thank you to Kim and the rest of the team there. You will always have our gratitude and please don't ever stop providing this service. I'm sure I speak for many people when I say that we appreciate it from the depths of our hearts.

Let me begin by saying thank you to Mike and Andrea and the rest of the team at Pet Passages. From the time I arrived with Jack to the day I picked him up and beyond they have been so understanding, comforting, and compassionate.I arrived with Jack in my arms, where I was immediately greeted with complete compassion. They first took the two of us into one of the private rooms, where they consoled me and allowed me to morn for as long as I needed to. This has been the most difficult thing I've ever had to deal with. I can't begin to tell you how much I loved my little baby and how difficult it's been to go through all this. Mike and Andrea have been making this journey for me as easy and comforting as humanly possible. They really are angels. The whole team at Pet Passages are amazing.The process was great, receiving guidance and understanding the moment they took possession of Jack. The moment his information was entered into the system, I received the emails directing me to the Pet Parents Gateway, where I was able to see, in real time, Jack's status throughout the entire process. The thing that really stood out to me once I was logged in were the tools supplied that allowed me to create an obituary or tribute to Jack. And especially access to grief support information.I never felt so much love and attachment between myself and my dog/my baby/my best friend. Jack may be gone, but his love for me and my love for Jack will FOREVER remain in my heart. God brought us together, and has briefly separated us, but some day God will bring us back together again.

I really wish I didn't have to use their services, but it was comforting knowing they were there, compassionate, understanding, and of course, reasonably priced. I didn't have to go through a veterinarian third party that would have tacked on another $100 or more and they were very accommodating, being able to take my cat there the afternoon right after he passed. We were devastated when we found out that our beloved fur baby had bone cancer and he would most likely have to be put to rest. It was the hardest decision we ever had to make, but Pet Passages made the process as smooth and “easy” as possible. We were very impressed with their website that kept us informed of where our sweet boy was throughout the entire process. They handled him with care and compassion and we could not be more grateful. We highly recommend them as it was evident that they care not only about the animals, but making sure the families are comfortable from start to finish. I unexpectedly lost my sweet 14 year old dog on a Sunday evening. On Monday I reached out and set an appointment for that day to come in. Everyone I met was kind. I got to say my final goodbyes in a soft lit comfortable room. They explained the process and I made my selection. I requested getting ink prints of both front pawns instead of one. They fulfilled that request and it felt very special they got imagines of both paws for me. Less than two days later I got notified his remains were ready to come home. This was the first time I ever cremated a pet. I'm very thankful to Pet Passages for making the extremely hard time less difficult.

I have had to put pets down before but this was the hardest. My husband passed away 3 years ago to cancer and this was his favorite cat of the 3 we had. Putting MoJo down was like losing another piece of my husband. Pet Passages handled my MoJo's cremation like they knew my special boy and kept me informed the entire process. I also was so surprised to receive his nose and paw print. When MoJo returned home he was returned in a beautiful wood box with his name engraved on it. They also sent a daily grief email that helped me get through his loss. Yes, I still drop a tear for my MoJo but seeing him on my mantel next to his prints and a small vial of his fur - makes it that much easier. The nose print was something I’d never seen done before and it’s very sweet. Our guy was sick but mostly was broken hearted that his devoted owner had passed away a month previously. Their ashes will be combined and scattered together someday soon. Pet Passages made this an easy process while we were mourning both owner and pet.

Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking. Pet Passages really helped us say good-bye As soon as Mikey arrived at their facility we received an email he was there. That was so comforting. Within 48 hours we received a call to come and pick him up. So the time without him was very short. The beautiful box he came home in, the nose and paw prints are all very dear to us. And what a loving surprise when we opened his box to find a lovely blue velvet bag with a sweet quote that holds his remains. Their compassion really supported us during such a hard time.

Beautiful facility with very caring staff, they were wonderful during such a difficult time. They are not well equipped to handle a giant breed dog, which was difficult to witness (gurney and door opening too small, dog almost fell off gurney), but I also understand that my dog is not the norm. Very sympathetic and was available on Saturday. The room for us to say our goodbyes was nicer than some funeral homes. Our Jake passed away at the emergency vet on Friday night and we were able to get him and bring him to Pet Passages early Saturday afternoon. The price for their services are very reasonable.

So our baby girl bailey was diagnosed with breast cancer and was only given 3 months to live. She survived about 3 months before her quality of life began to fade. I originally had it planned to have a lady come to our home to help with the passing of our little girl. But I had picked pet passages as the place for her cremation based on reviews and the description of the remembrance package they offer. There was an issue with the scheduling of the lady that was supposed to come to our home for the actual euthanization. I called pet passages and we were scheduled to come in 2 days later. After the lady came in to give our Bailey her medicine to help ease her passing, she got up and put a beautiful sunflower 🌻 on her. It was a moment I will never forget. She went as peacefully as I could have ever imagined. What comes next is just as great. Pet passages had our Bailey ready for us the next day in a beautiful velvet pouch in a nice wooden urn with her name inscribed on the top. They provided paw impressions with her birthstone. Paw prints on a card. A nose print on a card. And even seeds that we plan to plant with our 5 year old in the spring to honor Bailey even farther. We were never rushed from the moment we entered until the moment we decided to leave. This was my first experience dealing with this kind of loss as an adult. Pet passages gave me and my family as much comfort and closure as we could possibly hope for. Not to mention that during covid-19, our own vet only allows one person in and there were 3 of us that wanted to be present for Bailey. They allowed all of us and more if we wanted to. They have total understanding and compassion for what they do there and I can never thank them enough for making this horrible situation as good as it could be. I encourage everyone to do the remembrance package. I will be a lifetime patron of pet passages without a doubt.A big thank you to Kim and the rest of the team there. Highly highly highly recommend this company. My girl passed away a month ago and my vet chose this service for me because I couldn’t do it myself at the time. I’m so glad she did because they were wonderful from start to finish. I got an email a few days after she had passed with an online portal access. In the portal I could see where she was in the process from start to finish. It told me when she had been picked up, when she was being prepped for cremation, when she was ready, when she was being cremated and when she was ready to be picked up. They took a print of her nose and paw print and I was able to view them on her portal. When I went to pick her up, I got her ashes back in a beautiful box with her name inscribed into it, her ashes were in a bag inside that said “until we meet again at the rainbow bridge” I got seeds to plant a flower in her memory and they printed out her paw print and nose print. From start to finish this company was wonderful. I can’t recommend them enough.

Trying to arrange for cremation for my rabbit, scheduled to be euthanized this morning. The vet says Pet Passages now requires you to pay online ahead of time. But their very simple form, that clearly a monkey could fill out (no question I filled it out completely and correctly) does not submit! And they are closed, so I can't call them. Really horrible to be grieving my pet and going through this process, and have to deal with a very serious issue that means I can't get my pet euthanized because this damn website form doesn't work! Unreal.UPDATE: Called the office when it opened (and had to be late for appt to euthanize my pet). The woman who answered from Pet Passages passively aggressively suggested I was doing something wrong as far as the form not submitting. I told her --this is not the time to argue with me. She asked for my email and said she would send me the link to the submission form (whaaat?? Obviously I already had the link to the submission form)! She would not take payment over the phone. She told me to ask my vet if they still have the paper form to fill out. She did not have a shred of compassion; thankfully, my vet's office did. No pet owner should have to be dealing with a company like this--causing stress, anxiety, and aggravation--just before they have to say goodbye to their pet. My focus should've been on my pet; not on dealing with a business like this and the unacceptable hassle.

From the time I arrived with Jack to the day I picked him up and beyond they have been so understanding, comforting, and compassionate.I arrived with Jack in my arms, where I was immediately greeted with complete compassion. They first took the two of us into one of the private rooms, where they consoled me and allowed me to morn for as long as I needed to. This has been the most difficult thing I've ever had to deal with. I can't begin to tell you how much I loved my little baby and how difficult it's been to go through all this. Mike and Andrea have been making this journey for me as easy and comforting as humanly possible. They really are angels. The whole team at Pet Passages are amazing.The process was great, receiving guidance and understanding the moment they took possession of Jack. The moment his information was entered into the system, I received the emails directing me to the Pet Parents Gateway, where I was able to see, in real time, Jack's status throughout the entire process. The thing that really stood out to me once I was logged in were the tools supplied that allowed me to create an obituary or tribute to Jack. And especially access to grief support information.I never felt so much love and attachment between myself and my dog/my baby/my best friend. Jack may be gone, but his love for me and my love for Jack will FOREVER remain in my heart. God brought us together, and has briefly separated us, but some day God will bring us back together again.

I unexpectedly lost my sweet 14 year old dog on a Sunday evening. On Monday I reached out and set an appointment for that day to come in. Everyone I met was kind. I have had to put pets down before but this was the hardest. My husband passed away 3 years ago to cancer and this was his favorite cat of the 3 we had. Putting MoJo down was like losing another piece of my husband. Pet Passages handled my MoJo's cremation like they knew my special boy and kept me informed the entire process. I also was so surprised to receive his nose and paw print. When MoJo returned home he was returned in a beautiful wood box with his name engraved on it. The man who set up my appointment over the phone was extremely kind, and was very patient with me.Dr. Mandi was the doctor that performed the appointment. She was incredibly kind with Tiger and with all of us. I am glad to share my experience: it was wonderful. At a time when my emotions were high, the people at Pet Passages made it as easy as this difficult thing can be. I’d chosen them ahead of time after researching prices. I called when the time came, and they took over for me, lifting my 75# dog from my car and carrying her on a stretcher into a private room where I could quietly say my final goodbyes. I wasn’t pressured to buy anything extra, and my credit card was accepted quietly; I didn’t want to talk. We lost our sweet Maya back in June. We had her for 13 wonderful years. We were devastated when she left us. We can’t say enough about Pet Passages. They were kind, caring, and very gentle. Maya passed during the night with us by her side. We contacted Pet Passages first thing in the morning and the came within an hour to pick her up. She was a big dog so we were unable to handle her on our own. Pet Passages took care of everything. Pet Passages was so great with us when my dog, Baby passed away on Monday, March 30. Our elderly dog, Kirby, was in failing health and the decision to have her put down was hard but necessary. My family had never done cremation of a pet before, so I did not know what to expect. Our vet made the arrangement for the pick up and Pet Passages was already outside waiting to pick Kirby up, as I left. Within two days, I received the call that her ashes were ready. Pet passages was very efficient with making sure my pet was returned home asap. I think it took 2 days, and they called and told me my guy was ready to come home. They take this very seriously as they know our pets are our family members. They even included a nose print, paw print, and a little heart shaped seed to grow wild flowers. Highly highly highly recommend this company. My girl passed away a month ago and my vet chose this service for me because I couldn’t do it myself at the time. I’m so glad she did because they were wonderful from start to finish. I got an email a few days after she had passed with an online portal access. In the portal I could see where she was in the process from start to finish. It told me when she had been picked up, when she was being prepped for cremation, when she was ready, when she was being cremated and when she was ready to be picked up. They took a print of her nose and paw print and I was able to view them on her portal. When I went to pick her up, I got her ashes back in a beautiful box with her name inscribed into it, her ashes were in a bag inside that said “until we meet again at the rainbow bridge” I got seeds to plant a flower in her memory and they printed out her paw print and nose print. From start to finish this company was wonderful. I can’t recommend them enough.

Trying to arrange for cremation for my rabbit, scheduled to be euthanized this morning. The vet says Pet Passages now requires you to pay online ahead of time. But their very simple form, that clearly a monkey could fill out (no question I filled it out completely and correctly) does not submit! And they are closed, so I can't call them. Really horrible to be grieving my pet and going through this process, and have to deal with a very serious issue that means I can't get my pet euthanized because this damn website form doesn't work! Unreal.UPDATE: Called the office when it opened (and had to be late for appt to euthanize my pet). The woman who answered from Pet Passages passively aggressively suggested I was doing something wrong as far as the form not submitting. I told her --this is not the time to argue with me. She asked for my email and said she would send me the link to the submission form (whaaat?? Obviously I already had the link to the submission form)! She would not take payment over the phone. She told me to ask my vet if they still have the paper form to fill out. She did not have a shred of compassion; thankfully, my vet's office did. No pet owner should have to be dealing with a company like this--causing stress, anxiety, and aggravation--just before they have to say goodbye to their pet. My focus should've been on my pet; not on dealing with a business like this and the unacceptable hassle.

Pinot's ashes were returned to us within a week. They were in a velvet bag in a lovely box with his name on top.Also included was a heart embedded with flower seeds and his paw print and nose print . Mike and Andrea made their services available to us on a Sunday afternoon after our little 14 yr old Yorkie crossed the Rainbow Bridge at her vet's office. Their dedication to what they do was top notch. The most difficult day of our lives was made much easier with their compassion and caring, not rushing us to say goodbye to our beloved dog. Our family woke up Christmas morning to the death of our beloved cat of 14 years and kim was amazing to deal with. I met up with her that Monday and she was amazing to deal with, patient, kind and just amazing. Losing our cat was a huge loss for our whole family and their compassion was amazing. The man who set up my appointment over the phone was extremely kind, and was very patient with me.Dr. Mandi was the doctor that performed the appointment. She was incredibly kind with Tiger and with all of us. She was patient and understanding and we're so grateful to have had her take care of our cat, Tiger.They're an expensive service, but that's because they will come to your home and they give you a few extra services while they're performing the main service. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who wants to put their pet to rest in the comfort of their own home.

I am glad to share my experience: it was wonderful. At a time when my emotions were high, the people at Pet Passages made it as easy as this difficult thing can be. I’d chosen them ahead of time after researching prices. I called when the time came, and they took over for me, lifting my 75# dog from my car and carrying her on a stretcher into a private room where I could quietly say my final goodbyes. I wasn’t pressured to buy anything extra, and my credit card was accepted quietly; I didn’t want to talk. Later I picked up her ashes and received a sympathy card with her paw print - a very thoughtful gesture. I don’t hesitate in recommending Pet Passages.

Their prices and options are so much better than any other out there! The emergency vet wanted $260 for cremation, a clay paw print and ink print. A few weeks ago I lost my baby Bean to cancer. My heart is still broken and so much of my life does not feel the same without him by my side, however I am thankful that even at the end as I was forced to say goodbye to him after almost thirteen wonderful years together (seriously he was the BEST dog) I was able to see him out with the dignity and respect he deserved. This is both thanks to the home euthanasia that was worth every penny and also thanks to Pet Passages for the professional and warm service they provided during a time that I just didn't want to accept reality.Everything from the obvious duty of of their jobs, to the small thoughtful tokens you are sent home with (a beautiful engraved box, a heart to plant and watch grow in memory, and a paw print) as well as the overall experience gets a five star rating from me and I will highly recommend this establishment over any other option in Rochester, NY.I also think it is very important to add that I lost Bean in late March 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic had peeked across the country and in our local area. Mike personally answered my calls, was available the morning we were to deliver Bean and there was no delay in receiving his remains. Mike nor his staff ever treated us any differently or added any extra anxiety during a time when we are all uncertain. I appreciated that greatly. We have heard so many stories of human loved ones passing alone and their loved ones not being able to say goodbye or hold a service. I thank Mike for his normalcy during this difficult time as I couldn't imagine finding peace without the proper care that Bean and I were given regardless of what was going on outside.And the building is very very nice. It is very clean and modern. You feel like you are sitting in the comfort of Mikes living room, not a sad funeral home or a cold crematorium.Prices are also very fair.Thank you Mike.You truly do a wonderful job.

Our sweet, lovable, beautiful 3 month old puppy passed away during the night, and at that time we didnt know how she passed away. She was just very ill and couldn't walk for one day, and passed away at 2am in the morning. The next day my Husband and I brought her to Pet Passages. We were both extremely upset, because we didn't have much time with Holly and we were puzzled to why she passed away so quickly. The lady that owns a golden retriever, and works at the desk when you walk into Pet Passages was very caring, supportive, understanding, and she took her time to listen to us about our sweet puppy. We also didnt even have money at the time to pay for the cremation, and she was able to let us pay at a later date. About two weeks later my husband picked up Holly, and the lady told him that the she felt so bad for us including the other staff when we dropped her off. A veterinarian came in later that day, and the lady talked her about our puppy's symptoms and the veternian even looked at our puppy. The veterinarian said that she was 90% positive that our puppy had parvovirus, and Holly passed quick with no suffering. I'm FOREVER grateful for this lady, the veterinarian, and the staff at Pet Passages. We definitely recommend them, and if we ever have to do cremate a loved one again I wouldn't even think for a second not to go to Pet Passages again. Me and my mom are absolutely thrilled of the service we received for our baby girl, Amber. I had Mentioned to one of the workers i wanted to get her paw prints tattooed on me and when we came and picked her up their was an envelope with unedited paw prints and the envelope that stated “ for tattoo” as a surprise for me and i lost it because it was so thoughtful and That way when i do get it tattooed i will have her on me forever. We lost our sweet Maya back in June. We had her for 13 wonderful years. We were devastated when she left us. We can’t say enough about Pet Passages. They were kind, caring, and very gentle. Maya passed during the night with us by her side. We contacted Pet Passages first thing in the morning and the came within an hour to pick her up. She was a big dog so we were unable to handle her on our own. Pet Passages took care of everything. The next day we went to pick up her ashes which were placed in a beautiful wooden box with her name engraved on the top. They included her paw print on a special certificate. This place..... My babies Max & Norman passed. My hearts and my soul....They made this time in our life so much easier. Such sweet people... caring and loving. Pet passages was recommended to us by another family member who had used their services. Their recommendation was the best choice we made during such a difficult time. Mike and Andrea made their services available to us on a Sunday afternoon after our little 14 yr old Yorkie crossed the Rainbow Bridge at her vet's office. Their dedication to what they do was top notch. The most difficult day of our lives was made much easier with their compassion and caring, not rushing us to say goodbye to our beloved dog. Our family woke up Christmas morning to the death of our beloved cat of 14 years and kim was amazing to deal with. I met up with her that Monday and she was amazing to deal with, patient, kind and just amazing. Losing our cat was a huge loss for our whole family and their compassion was amazing. Mike was called to my home twice. I had arranged for services before my dog was seen by the vet. The vet thought she could be treated so I had to cancel but he'd already arrived but was happy for me that her life was extended for a time. When she was euthanized he and his assistant came ASAP and couldn't have been kinder or more understanding of my distress. I would highly recommend Pet Passages services.

When my Buddy passed, I was heartbroken and wasn't sure were I would come up with the money to bring my baby home. A friend suggested Pet Passages and when I spoke to Mike, he was very understanding and empathetic. He told he would pick Buddy that day and let me know when he had arrived. Every step of the way Mike let me know what was going on. I felt at ease for the first time since Buddy had passed. Within about 24 hours I had my baby back home were he belonged. A few weeks ago I lost my baby Bean to cancer. My heart is still broken and so much of my life does not feel the same without him by my side, however I am thankful that even at the end as I was forced to say goodbye to him after almost thirteen wonderful years together (seriously he was the BEST dog) I was able to see him out with the dignity and respect he deserved. This is both thanks to the home euthanasia that was worth every penny and also thanks to Pet Passages for the professional and warm service they provided during a time that I just didn't want to accept reality.Everything from the obvious duty of of their jobs, to the small thoughtful tokens you are sent home with (a beautiful engraved box, a heart to plant and watch grow in memory, and a paw print) as well as the overall experience gets a five star rating from me and I will highly recommend this establishment over any other option in Rochester, NY.I also think it is very important to add that I lost Bean in late March 2020 as the COVID-19 pandemic had peeked across the country and in our local area. Mike personally answered my calls, was available the morning we were to deliver Bean and there was no delay in receiving his remains. Mike nor his staff ever treated us any differently or added any extra anxiety during a time when we are all uncertain. I appreciated that greatly. We have heard so many stories of human loved ones passing alone and their loved ones not being able to say goodbye or hold a service. I thank Mike for his normalcy during this difficult time as I couldn't imagine finding peace without the proper care that Bean and I were given regardless of what was going on outside.And the building is very very nice. It is very clean and modern. You feel like you are sitting in the comfort of Mikes living room, not a sad funeral home or a cold crematorium.Prices are also very fair.Thank you Mike.You truly do a wonderful job.

Our sweet, lovable, beautiful 3 month old puppy passed away during the night, and at that time we didnt know how she passed away. She was just very ill and couldn't walk for one day, and passed away at 2am in the morning. The next day my Husband and I brought her to Pet Passages. We were both extremely upset, because we didn't have much time with Holly and we were puzzled to why she passed away so quickly. The lady that owns a golden retriever, and works at the desk when you walk into Pet Passages was very caring, supportive, understanding, and she took her time to listen to us about our sweet puppy. We also didnt even have money at the time to pay for the cremation, and she was able to let us pay at a later date. About two weeks later my husband picked up Holly, and the lady told him that the she felt so bad for us including the other staff when we dropped her off. A veterinarian came in later that day, and the lady talked her about our puppy's symptoms and the veternian even looked at our puppy. The veterinarian said that she was 90% positive that our puppy had parvovirus, and Holly passed quick with no suffering. I'm FOREVER grateful for this lady, the veterinarian, and the staff at Pet Passages. We definitely recommend them, and if we ever have to do cremate a loved one again I wouldn't even think for a second not to go to Pet Passages again. Me and my mom are absolutely thrilled of the service we received for our baby girl, Amber. I had Mentioned to one of the workers i wanted to get her paw prints tattooed on me and when we came and picked her up their was an envelope with unedited paw prints and the envelope that stated “ for tattoo” as a surprise for me and i lost it because it was so thoughtful and That way when i do get it tattooed i will have her on me forever. The staff is absolutely amazing, the owners wife had sat down and talked to me and my mom for at least for 30 mins before taking Amber home telling us all about this business and how they want to serve the community in Greece and how they are opening up a location. I lost my dog to cancer about 2 months ago. It happened quickly and we had to let him go a lot sooner than we thought we had. We had a wonderful vet come to our house on a Sunday. Not only did Mike meet us there at PetPassages on his day off when they are closed, he also let us come in an hour later than we had asked. He was professional and extremely kind. He let me have private time with my baby before I had to say a final goodbye. When I went back a few week later when his Urn had arrived (had the option of picking my boy up before his urn came) the women (im so sorry, I forgot her name) was just as professional and kind as Mike is. Though I hope it is a long time before I need their services again, I will go here again. I had a wonderful experience in the worst time of my life, and I am very grateful to them. Mike and Andrea at Pet Passages were incredibly understanding, sensitive, and helpful when it came time to discuss cremation options for our beloved 15-year-old Shih Tzu. Mike even kept his shop open after typical hours to wait for us to arrive on a Saturday afternoon. His compassion and sympathy for our family during such a difficult and emotional time was greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed. Additionally, Mike was knowledgeable of the process and patient as we selected our choices. We have gone to Pet passages for all of our animals. They treated us with so much respect and our pets with dignity. I felt comfortable knowing my pets last moments in physical form were well taken care of. If you're reading this you're already aware of how hard this process can be. This is probably the final decision you'll make on behalf of your pet. The woman I worked with on my pet’s cremation was incredibly kind and helpful. She even made sure that for the fur clippings she got all three different colors that my pet had, which meant a lot to me. If you’re in the unfortunate situation where you’ve lost your pet, I would definitely recommend coming here. They do a good job working with you to make sure you’re getting everything you want/need.

In May, we lost our beautiful 15 year old cat Herman. Pet Passages was wonderfully kind and even came to our home to pick up his remains for cremation. Then, only 19 short days later, sadly we had to say good-bye to Herman's brother, Sherman. Sherman had been on medication for hypothyroidism and diabetes for three years. Unfortunately he succumbed to ketoacidosis and we had to let him go. In both cases, Pet Passages was sympathetic, kind and extremely thoughtful with the care of our boys after their passing. We really felt like they honored their lives and understood the depth of our pain. We highly recommend them to anyone considering cremation of their pets. Although we would prefer not to have to use them again, noone wants to think about losing their pets, we certainly would if a time comes and they're needed.

My husband David took our boy Weezer to be creamated today. He felt Mike's compassion as soon as he walked in the door. He made what is a horrible day easier to deal with because of the kindness he showed. The experience was peaceful and done just the way we had requested. I would highly recommend them for anyone who is unfortunate to lose a pet and wants to always have their precious baby with them forever. Our Weezer was almost 19 years old , he was born on October 30 2001 and sadly passed June 26 2020, we are so grateful to Pet Passages and especially Mike who treated Weezer with dignity and care. Thank God a place like this exists so that grieving pet parents can have their babies home with them. Thank you.

I wouldn't go any place else. Found them when my girl passed away, the other place couldnt accommodate at that time. They went above and beyond not just with service and price. The private room to say our last good byes and the compassion theyshowed was truly appreciated. It truly was a much better experience then the other place, treated with compassion and care not just as customers

I lost my dog to cancer about 2 months ago. It happened quickly and we had to let him go a lot sooner than we thought we had. We had a wonderful vet come to our house on a Sunday. Not only did Mike meet us there at PetPassages on his day off when they are closed, he also let us come in an hour later than we had asked. He was professional and extremely kind. He let me have private time with my baby before I had to say a final goodbye. When I went back a few week later when his Urn had arrived (had the option of picking my boy up before his urn came) the women (im so sorry, I forgot her name) was just as professional and kind as Mike is. Though I hope it is a long time before I need their services again, I will go here again. I had a wonderful experience in the worst time of my life, and I am very grateful to them. Thank you so much.

Mike and Andrea at Pet Passages were incredibly understanding, sensitive, and helpful when it came time to discuss cremation options for our beloved 15-year-old Shih Tzu. Mike even kept his shop open after typical hours to wait for us to arrive on a Saturday afternoon. His compassion and sympathy for our family during such a difficult and emotional time was greatly appreciated and did not go unnoticed. Additionally, Mike was knowledgeable of the process and patient as we selected our choices. He was also patient and understanding as we said our final goodbyes in a private viewing room that was available at the shop. The actual cremation process from drop off to pick up day was very timely (3 days). We highly recommend Pet Passages to anyone in need of pet cremation services. They respected the dignity of our beloved pet and showed us compassion while helping. Thank you, again, Mike and Andrea.

I had to put down my 150 lb. Rottie, who could not walk anymore, and I didn't know how i was going to get her to the vet. Then someone told me that there are companies that will come to your house, that's when I found Pet Passages. I can't say enough about how wonderful Pet Passages is!
