The service was amazing. They kindly accommodated us on short notice after we lost our dog a few days prior. The staff were exceptionally kind and caring, doing their best to meet all our requests. They even accommodated our early arrival, allowing us a beautiful viewing. This was a very difficult time in our lives, and the staff made saying goodbye to our dog easier.I appreciate everything they did for us and if I could give them 10 stars I would.

Unfortunately losing my best friend hasn’t been the only hard thing about this process. The urn I received was beautiful however the frame which is $133 is cheap plastic which was dirty beyond cleaning and my dogs hair was completely different color. I would’ve forgave how cheap it is if the entire plastic piece in the front wasn’t covered in what I assume is glued on finger prints. I tried to dust the prints and lightly clean them however it is glue. It seems like they sprayed my dogs hair with some sort of glue which also turned her black fur now like a gray white…I called and they said to come down on Saturday they would replace the plastic front piece. I was happy with that however it is about an hour away from my house so it is a bit of a trip. Upon arrival I entered the main building I told three people in the front area, one man on the left, a female in the middle and a heavy set older woman on the right. I told them the woman on the phone said you guys would try to clean it or just replace the plastic piece, the man was trying to be helpful as was saying yeah we can help before the older woman cut him off as in a rude tone said no, we need to remake the whole frame and the person who does the name plates isn’t in. I said I don’t need a new frame it’s just the little plastic piece and it pops right off. She just was nasty and said no, I said I drove like an hour and the woman on the phone said differently. She just said once again nasty, well did you get her name because there is nothing we can do come back Monday….im sorry but after spending all that money and already driving an hour there and back and getting treated poorly I will NOT be going back. I got a new frame with glass and sturdy material. Feel like I wasted my money, time and was just trying to do the right thing and memorialize my best friend. Next time I’ll do research into who I’m sending my dog to get cremated by. I would suggest anyone to do the same unfortunately.

I very recently lost my furbabyBlue who was 18 yrs. and 3 months. I’ve had Blue since he was a 2-day old kitten, so it was especially hard losing him. My veterinarian had recommended Regency Forest. I was pleased with the exceptional service they provided and with the compassionate way in which my pet was handled. I decided to do a visitation and viewing so I could say goodbye one last time and get closure. Blue was displayed lovingly. They had prepped him with care and grace, so he appeared as if asleep. There was a distinguished gentleman with a soothing resonant voice who had made the arrangements, treating Blue in such a dignified manner. He was a blessed Angel. We were very grateful, and it made us feel better knowing Blue was at peace.

They were amazing! Someone got our appointment mixed up so they accomodated us anyway. The Director was so thoughtful she made sure that we had the beautiful send off for our beloved blade who left us way too soon. The morgue attendant was also very kind and Caring. The Memorial park and the area where the Memorial was held was clean and beautiful. Thank you Regency for helping us lay our beloved blade to rest with such care. The Lewis family.

Losing my beloved Macho was one of the hardest moments of my life, but Jaclyn at Regency Pet Crematory was a true angel on earth during this heartbreaking time. From the moment I reached out, she showed genuine compassion, warmth, and understanding that went far beyond what I ever expected.Jaclyn treated Macho with the utmost respect and dignity, as if he were her own. Her gentle words, thoughtful gestures, and attention to every detail provided a sense of peace and comfort I desperately needed. She didn’t just do her job—she cared. You could feel it in the way she spoke, the way she handled everything, and the time that she took to accommodate our requests during this devastating time. She made sure Macho’s final moments were filled with love, care, and dignity, and for that, I am eternally grateful. Jaclyn turned an unbearable experience into one of healing and closure. I will never forget her kindness.Thank you, Jaclyn, from the bottom of my heart. You truly are a gift to those of us navigating such painful goodbyes.

I have been doing business with Regency for over 30 years, before new ownership took over, it was very good. recently prices have gone up and I can't believe that my 5 pound cat who was 20 years old cost more than my 6 pound cat who was also over 20 years old. The prices have doubled because now they are a corporation and they don't care about peoples feelings about their beloved lost PET/family member. The last words I was told when I left there four years ago is next time you're going to pay full price, because I was Rescue and I was tax exempt and I said you never gonna see me again, Regency Forest sucks
Mr. Thomas
Nice location, professional, sincere and cremation handled well. We received our loved one in an excellent presentation. BEWARE! If you order paw and nose castings--do NOT touch them! No cautionary instructions were vocalized or given in writing. The castings were both soft--wet, if you will, easily deformed. TAKE THEM HOME AND OPEN THE BOXES TO DRY. It was really, a careless, honest, human error and I hope by reading this that someone avoids irrevocable issues with paw and nose castings in the future because I have no idea how they will be handling the feedback I provided. This situation may repeat itself. Other than a one time human error that could have proved irrevocably unrepairable😒--we think this is a well run and tasteful establishment. Thank You for your service.

My babygirl, Cinnamon, passed away at the age of 19. I was, and still am, completely devastated and heartbroken. The staff were so thoughtful and understanding. Carol was so helpful throughout the entire process. When I dropped my baby off, the man that took her was so kind. He gave us time to say goodbye and he was very respectful with her. We came back another day for the funeral and the guys that brought her into the viewing room and the cemetery were also very respectful with her. She looked so beautiful in the casket, like she was sleeping. They let us spend as much time as we needed with her before we were ready to say goodbye. Every aspect of the funeral was done beautifully. I was impressed with how the staff treated her as if she was their own. It was the perfect way to lay her to rest and I am so glad I brought her here.

My Fergie's ashes were spread out here communally. I bought a remembrance brick from them. I cannot tell you how wonderful this place is. Gorgeous property!!! Birds chirping, perfectly maintained. The building is brand new and super clean. The entire staff loves animals and was so helpful to me. There are many areas to reflect. Statues of St. Francis and a gorgeous water fall. So happy I made this choice for my Fergie!!!! I totally recommend this pet resting place. All animals welcome. A special area for horses as well.

Beautiful place with wonderful and caring staff, everyone I encountered was so kind and helpful. Carol is an amazing woman, after mourning for a day she had finally got me to laugh. I chose to cremate my heart rat, Crowley, she lived for over 3 years with zero health issues, which is very rare for a rat. She was the sweetest little thing and I am so glad I found this place. She now lays in an urn with her paw prints in foam. I called around 9am, got there around 10am and picked her up at 1:30pm. Very quick. Thank you so much.

We lost our beautiful Daisy 3 weeks ago. We had used regency forest 12 years ago for our dog and decided to do the same with daisy. I was a wreck when I dropped her off to be creamated but they were understanding and compassionate. While I was waiting by my car for Brian to come and take her I had calmed down a little. When he came out to get her I started crying again and he was so compassionate. He was asking me about Daisy and said that he would take good care of her. I just picked up her remains with the urn I picked out for her. Glad to have her back home.

I cremated the most loved dog in the world (Rocky) here. I chose to do a viewing and stay around until he was ready. Upon arriving, APRIL checked us in. She was warm, humble and sooo sweet. We then met Rocky in an extremely spacious country club looking room, he was on a nice table with clean black towels. They were super patient with us and understanding of my toddlers loud, annoying toys.We met BRIAN after. He was so kind too and listened to all of my ridiculous needs and he went above and beyond making him comfortable and everything perfect, to ensure that those final seconds we not regretted. [Brian- that single flower petal you picked up and threw in meant the world to me.]Throughout the day we checked in with April, (who seemed to never get annoyed with me) and Rocky was ready almost exactly when they said he’d be. The whole experience was as pleasant and beautiful as it possibly could be and I am forever grateful to April and Brian for that. Thank you

Our veterinarian recently used Regency Forest to handle our beloved dog's cremains. We didn't quite know what to expect and were incredibly surprised when they arrived promptly in a velvet bag, wooden box and with a very sweet certificate (we had only been expecting a plastic bag). We had to open the wooden box which was sealed with screws, so we could scatter some of her ashes at her favorite spot. Even sealed inside the box, they were encased in a smaller velvet bag scented with cedar? The respectful and dignified presentation and handling of something so important to us was the silver lining on one of the saddest days of our lives. Thank you so much!

I just want to share my experience for the first time with Regency forest, I had to put down my beloved Siamese cat Precious she was 21 years old I had her since she was one week old from the time my son found her in an abandoned building. As soon I took one look at her I fell in love she was very tiny, white with blue eyes as time went by her chocolate tip colors started coming out. I’ve been through so much and precious remain by my side until she got sick with kidney Disease she was to old they couldn’t do much for her. She lived a long happy life with me and I’m very grateful for that. I just couldn’t see her suffering in pain any longer so I made the choice to put her to sleep. I will forever love my precious and miss her so much. She pass away January 13 2021 and I got my ashes from Regency forest on the 20 of January. I am very grateful for the job they did for me. Thank you very much. Elsie J.

First and foremost .. if you’re reading this review I want to say I’m very sorry for your loss . My deepest condolences . Loosing our dog/cat/bird/rabbit is very painful as they are part of our family. We will always cherish our precious baby’s . No matter what kind of pet it was . 💔I lost my 12 year old best friend on 2/5/22. My cookie (Yorkie) was and will always be my fur baby . I was able to say my last goodbye on 2/15/22. I buried my angel in his beautiful baby blue casket that Carol helped me pick .Carol was very helpful and very sweet . She showed concern and was very pleasant to speak with . She gave me a paw print for my cookie, and a beautiful velvet bag to put any item I wanted to cherish. I loved that she explained everything and we had as much time as we needed with cookie . Never felt rushed .Brian took cookie into the viewing room and laid a blanket I had made for him . I was able to put any item I wanted in the casket . Brian was AMAZING! Very compassionate , very careful and handled my Cookie with so much respect and love. Brian’s helper ( I didn’t get his name ) also handled Cookie with a lot of love and care as they placed the casket to be buried . He helped me place a flower cone by the grave . Everyone was so sweet and I can honesty say my cookie will love it there . The grounds are very nice (even with snow ) I can only imagine what they will look like in the summer .I am sad that my baby is gone but I feel a huge sense of relief that he’s in a beautiful place with many new friends . I made the BEST decision by bringing my cookie to rest here . I HIGHLY recommend this Cemetary .They charge $55 a month for maintenance on the Grave and I’m certain it will be money we’ll spent. I was highly impressed with everything and everyone .

Losing a pet is never easy, but Regency Forest Pet Memorial made the process as easy and pleasant as possible. The staff were really wonderful and you could truly tell they cared. They were sympathetic and treated our dog with the dignity and respect she deserved. They set up a beautiful viewing for us and allowed us to spend time with her to say goodbye. They were very helpful with everything we asked for. I could not recommend them more.

Our beloved rescue dog Koko passes recently. I brought him to Regency Forest Crematorium in Middle Island. I like many pet owners truly feel our pets are part of the family and their remains must be treated with respect. As you pulled in, the property is well maintained. The staff was very professional and caring. Carol and Brian who are stationed in the cremation section were outstanding. The place is beautiful. It is nicer than some funeral homes I've been to. Brian asked a bit about Koko, what kind of personality he had? etc. I am pretty good at picking up false emotions in people. I detected none of that in Brian. He gave me a sense he understood my pain and asked me about Koko to help me work through my grief. He was also very respectful and careful with Koko's remains. Carol at the desk was great and allowed me to vent my grief by allowing me to tell a few brief stories about Koko. Once the process was completed his remains were retuned to me with dignity and respect. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Regency Forrest is a wonderful place to have your pets final needs attended to. The surrounding are comforting and the employees are kind and compassionate. We brought our little guy Cooper there on the morning of 1/27/24 for a same day private cremation. We met a wonderful woman named Carol who handled the paperwork for us and said Cooper’s ashes would be ready for pickup early that afternoon. Eddie allowed me to help him remove Cooper from our car and in a soft and caring voice promised to take good care of him. The compassion that was shown to us during a very emotional time was outstanding. Thank you Carol, Eddie, and the staff behind the scene at Regency Forest Park.

Our boy BoBo was Almost 20 and we had to make the hard Decision to put him Down. The folks at Regency took care of our Bo like he was their own. Treated him and us with Dignity and Respect, from the moment they took him in to picking out his Urn and Keepsakes. They made a tough time Easier for us and eased our Sadness. Can’t Thank them Enough.

My baby Deno passed away on June 12th, and it was absolutely heartbreaking. Regency forest is a beautiful place for him to rest. All in all the customer service was great. Carol and Brian were great, so accommodating, compassionate, and patient. Carol even threw in a free paw print of our baby. The area is gorgeous as well. Very peaceful, could sit there for hours. Highly recommend this place. Great price as well if your from the city, much cheaper than anything else near the boroughs.

Goodbye Monkey 🤍🐀I just want to say thank you so much for making this goodbye important to me. I miss my Monkey dearly and everyone was so understanding and nice. My beautiful monkey saying goodbye was very hard, she was placed in a beautiful box after cremation and her foam prints were beautiful also . The way they took care of her was truly the best experience ever thank you so very much.

We lost our beloved Max recently. Our hearts broke. I reached out to Danielle at Regency, Final Gifts, and I was assured without question Max’s remains would be treated respectfully and with kindness. I was informed when Max’s remains arrived and when we could pick up. Danielle’s last words to me were ‘I’m glad Max is home.’ My family and I are so grateful for all of the kindnesses extended to us by the people who work at this pet cemetery and crematorium. They made the saddest of times a bit easier.

I was blown away at the respect, class, sympathy and just over all experience at Regency Forest. Putting my sweet, sweet Ruby to rest and being with her right until the very end was so important to me and Regency made that possible. I will tell all my friends and family about this beautiful experience made possible by such wonderful people. My heart is broken but I'm comforted in knowing I was with my baby from the very beginning until those last few moments at the very end. Getting to take her home that day was also so comforting. I never left her. In life, in death and even her ashes - Mommy is always with you and will never leave you. Thank you to everyone at Regency for making this possible.

Our cat passed away at an emergency vet on Friday 12/1/23. We received an email shortly after leaving and set up the cremation via the link they sent. We received our baby back Wednesday 12/6/23. Although I was anxious on when we would get him back, it was a quicker turn around time than I thought. I do not remember her name, but the lady at the front desk was very compassionate during the transaction. I am grateful for services like this.

Amazing group of people who truly care. I recently lost my baby, and best friend, Norman. The Regency Forest staff turned an incredibly sad and painful experience, into a peaceful and serene farewell.I believe my Norman was truly taken care of by the staff. I want to thank Regency Forest Pet Memorial for an expedited return of our beloved German Spitz named Luna. However, Queens Midway Animal Hospital received Luna's remains at 9:22am on 8/4/2023 and when we didn't receive a call by 2pm we called Regency and was made aware of the drop off that morning. My wife and I went to Queens Midway and retrieved our baby Luna's remains. We asked why they didn't call us, which they responded; "we just got her remains at about 2:30pm," which was a blatant lie. The reason I am only giving Regency two stars is because of the hospital that they are affiliated with, and it's always safe to say that you are guilty by association. Anyone reading this review, I hope that you find a caring and compassionate animal hospital other than Queens Midway. They will lie to your face for their benefit even when you are in a state of grieving the lost of your beloved animal. Pet parents, please be aware and do not whatsoever patronize Queens Midway should you want your furry loved one to experience quality and compassionate care. Should you need crematory services, it is highly recommended that you contact Regency directly and not through such a heartless establishment like Queens Midway Animal Hospital. Queens Midway will prey on any and every pet parents love for their pets. Thank you so much.

We were extremely impressed by the professional and compassionate care we received yesterday. Our 15 year old golden retriever had passed away and we brought her there for private cremation. The entire staff treated us with understanding of the emotional situation. The employee (I wish I knew his name) who came out to the car to take our pet was courteous and respectful. We asked if they could return the blanket that she was wrapped in and a few minutes later, he brought it out to us, neatly folded and in a bag for safe keeping. Five stars are in order.

Our Louie has made his peace with the Lord after a well fought battle against kidney disease. Over 13 years and every second was worth it.From the very first night as a naughty ninja kitten escaping the shelter to his final battle meow cry, Louies service, love and loyalty will never be forgotten. We had our dog Clancy cremated there today and they really did a beautiful job from beginning to end. I had to write a review today and say thank you to the staff at Regency for handling our pet with such love and care. The staff clearly understands the gravity of losing your family pet since they are not just a pet .... they are part of the family. The viewing room was set up really nicely and all of it was incredibly well done. The facility and staff could not be nicer. I have been to funeral homes that were not as nice as this was. I would highly recommend there services to anyone. The cost was very fair in my opinion and well worth it to us without a doubt. Thanks again for taking such wonderful care of our beloved Clancy.

For Our dear Tyler only the best and “Best” was in their name and highly recommended.Caroline and her staff were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. We received our Pet Urn within 3 hours after the service. We never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. All the logistical items were clear, and they took the time to explain everything in detail. They definitely took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was very much appreciated.Best Funeral Services showed great respect and care throughout. . No hoops to jump through, or multiple calls to make. I highly recommend them.Thank you Best! You truly made a difference during such a difficult time.Tammie

Went to pick up my Daisy and met Danielle one of the client care specialist who helped me with finalization. There is also a gentleman who help with processing my receipt, very sympathetic with my loss of Daisy, unfortunately I did not get his name. This place cares for your pets and they are really sincere.

We were referred to this Funeral home by Bond Vet Garden City to cremate our little best friend Chewy. We didn’t do private viewing, but the staff member took care of Chewy very gently, and made sure until we were ready to let him go.We were saying that these staff members must love animals so much to let us do this on daily basis. We decided to cremate him so he can always be with us, but the cemetery area was so peaceful, well maintained and i felt lots of love people shared with their fur friends when we were walking around the cemetery area.Such a beautiful place with people who love animals.

My beloved 13 year old girl passed on Monday. The Vet sent her ashes for cremation.I picked them up today, 4 days later. There was a perfect paw print and some fur, and her ashes were in a beautiful wooden box. They were both wrapped in velvet.Very respectful of my girl.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This place is unprofessional, unorganized, and does not provide the closure you’d expect. Please read this entire story.I was told on Saturday 6/19 that my dogs ashes were ready to be picked up, and I called and confirming Monday 6/21 that they were ready and told them I’d be coming in. So when I arrived, they said there had been a “miscommunication” and that my dog Tyson was “not yet ready but don’t worry, we’ll take care of it right now” and get his remains to me. Now I sit there thinking they’re cremating him (they later told me he was already cremated, but just not yet “boxed up”) I started crying and there wasn’t a single box of tissues anywhere in the place. I had to keep going into the bathroom and using toilet paper to wipe my tears - all while listening to today’s pop hits (read the room!). I waited 15 minutes (again, thinking he was being cremated right there) for them to come out and bring me my dog. They said the name plate for his urn was in the envelope, and I get to my car and it isn’t. I went back inside, the receptionist thoroughly checked everything and didn’t see the name tag either. She had to go in the back and then came out with it and said “it was in the envelope all along” … but both me AND her had thoroughly checked and it wasn’t in there. They lied to me.All of these things added up to me calling and speaking to the manager about my experience. I was so upset with the lack of professionalism, the insensitivity I was met with, and lack of organization for such a personal and traumatic experience for a person who just wants closure on their dog of 16 years. The manager, Linda, said she’ll investigate and get back to me.She calls me back 10 minutes later and says they did nothing wrong. The only thing that was wrong was that they didn’t “box up my dog yet” and reiterated to me that he wasn’t actually cremated while I was waiting there. I said I want my money back because this was a terrible experience because pets aren’t just pets, they’re family members and deserve more respect than this. She said she cannot do that and will have the general manager get back to me later in the week.40 minutes goes by and I get another call from Regency. This time it’s the receptionist who I dealt with while I was there calling to DEFEND HERSELF and say that she did nothing wrong and there was just a miscommunication. I cannot believe the audacity this woman has to do this. I just lost my dog and wanted his ashes back with some respect and professionalism! I’m still in disbelief.I called the manager back and asked her if she asked the receptionist to call me. She said “no but she probably wanted to clear the air” I’ve worked in customer service for 15 years - I have NEVER heard of an employee trying to take something into their own hands when a manager has been dealing with the issue. This place doesn’t hold any of their employees or themselves accountable. This was truly a horrific experience for a grieving pet owner. I do not recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet or wants to be met with professionals who actually care.

I wanted to thank Regency Forest Pet memorial for taking such good care of our Brady. Our dog passed away this week. And they couldn’t have done a better job with the cremation and services for our family. Very professional and friendly service as well as the employees. Thank you so much 🥲

I received my dog’s ashes today in a beautiful cherry wood box. On top of the box i could slide it out and place a picture of my dog on top of the box and it has a gold plate with my dogs name on it.Enclosed is also a card with the rainbow bridge poem and a certificate of cremation. The last Dog I had cremated was in 2012 and it was in a flowered tin can .What a big difference.... regency forest crematory. I am very pleased and I will place him anywhere in the house because it’s very pretty. 😊

I have to give Regency an excellent review. On 12/24 I made the mistake of using Google to check what time they were open. It was wrong. We got there at 12:30 to pick up some ashes. They closed at 12 that day. But they were so kind to unlock and get the ashes for us so we could have them home for Christmas. The young lady who helped us was so kind and accommodating. We have used their service before and were equally pleased. Thank you Regency for taking care of both my furry kids.

After 13 1/2 years we had to say goodbye to our beautiful, loving Louie. He loved us so unconditionally. We miss him terribly. Our wonderful vet took care of his cremation using your facility.I am so very pleased with the pretty container his ashes are in and how quickly we got them back. When you are saying goodbye to a beloved pet, you are not thinking or able to make too many decisions.I am so appreciative of my vets decision to use your facility.Thankyou so very much.

In the past 9 years, we have been to Regency Forest 10 times. I want to start by saying that we are extremely grateful to have this wonderful facility available for our beloved pets. Every time upon intake of our beloved pet, we have been treated with empathy and kindness. I truly cannot say enough positive things about my experiences at Regency Forest. Carol (she listens to you and cares so much) does all the intake paperwork for your animals. Brian is the gentleman (a true gentleman that has a heart of gold) that takes your animal from you. I cannot say enough words about these two beautiful souls. Both have so much empathy for what you are going through, they get it!!! Brian and Carol are exceptional human beings, that this business is extremely fortunate to have them working there with their clients in their hour of need. Brian and Carol deserve more than 5 stars!!! They help you through one of the worst days of your life. We are grateful for them!! I hope this wonderful business recognizes both for their empathy and kind hearts. Two very incredible special souls in this world!!!! Thank you for all you do!!!!

My Ruby Lucille passed over the rainbow bridge, to say the least I’m devastated by her loss. She was several months short of 13 years old and has been my companion since she was 6weeks oldI cannot say enough wonderful things about services rendered at Regency. Compassion, reliability and comfort are all attributes.I would like to single out April for comforting me and make Ruby Lucille’s passing easier to handle. The office pet Butters the bulldog also is very comforting.

Our cat past away unexpectedly and with final decisions to be made quickly, it was a hard to do with our emotions running wild and money as a concern. Once they confirmed they received our cat from the vet, it was nothing but a pleasure working with them. From allowing us to see our cat one last time, to giving us an imprint of his paw, the entire process was great. They allow you to witness your pet entering the crematory (to ensure that you are only receiving your pets ashes) which was extremely important to us. The staff was very pleasant to work with and they understood how important pets are to their owners. I highly recommend this facility. It made the final process of our cats passing easy and comforting.

THE MOST INCREDIBLE SERVICE! Carol was super supportive throughout the entire experience. Brian was beyond incredible in the devotion he put into preparing our dog scrappy. The view rooms are stunning. I am so glad we found this place. ❤️ thank you for everything.

I lost my best friend of 14 years to a kidney failure, I knew we didn't have much time together but never imagined it would happen so soon and unexpectedly. He passed as a result of the Euthanasia when I took him to ER at Bluepearl vet hospital in Queens and after running the pertinent tests the Vet told me there was not much we could do and recommend to let him rest because he was in pain and so I agreed and took the decision. I wanted him to go peacefully and I didn't want to bury him to I chose the private cremation and his body was sent to Regency. The vet never told me I could be present during his cremation which I very much disliked, they told me that was it and I would simply get his ashes in about a week or two. but I called the vet again and the receptionist man told me Regency was the company so I decided to google it and found its frequently asked questions and saw the section where they mentioned I could be present and decided to email them and asking to be present because it was too late for a call. I went to bed and prayed to God to give me the chance to say good bye one last time. Regency called me the next morning at 8am and gave me the good news they received my email and gave me a date for Tobby's body cremation. I chose the next day because I was already losing too many days of work because of my grieving. I went the next day and asked the front desk lady to please give me a chance to say one last bye before they took him to the cremation room which wasn't allowed if I didn't pay for the funeral package but I guess she saw how much I was affected and let the assistant crematory expert know to let me see Tobby before he was taken to the cremation room. he came out to the hallway, the had him on a catering like cart with comfortable towels and resting peacefully. My first reaction was a smile because I rrally needed to say some words before I said good bye forever. The man was understanding of my pain and said some condolences words to me truly from his heart before he took Tobby to the cremation room. Once at the cremation room I was standing by the window or the glass room and watched the man take Tobby into the furnace carefully where Tobby's body lied peacefully before the man pulled down the furnace door. My heart felt closure and peace of mind that I went all the way for Tobby and I got a last chance to say bye since everything happened so fast just 3 days before.Regency gave me the opportunity to let my friend go with a proper closure, I then returned 3 hours later for his ashes and is paw print in clay.I have nothing else to say about regency but that they provided a good service and showed me that they don't only care about the money but also about the quality of service they offer to their clients.Thank you!

I got my dog cremated at Regency Forest in October . Unfortunately we were unable to pick her up. My husband, myself and 2 kids were all covid positive and its was extremely rough 2 months. I called Regency to have her mailed since we are all still quarantining. Sharon took my info and said she will call me back. Someone called me back on her behalf and to my surprise they said they will have my dog brought to me in the morning to my house. I cried on the phone and honestly didn't know what to say. I was so overwhelmed and happy. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. When I received Vita , they gave me a leather box with her paw print, and also she was placed in an URN. I can't even begin to say how appreciative I was. I was so grateful , Thank you to Sharon and the whole regency family . You guys are truly awesome . Thank you !!!

Losing a pet is a very emotionally thing to go through, especially if you consider them a part of your family. I lost my dog 2 weeks ago; I was told I would get her ashes back 7-10 days; it took 11 day before I got my baby back again. I had called up on day 8th and was told on the phone by a girl (my dog was scheduled to be packaged that day) how she told me was very upsetting, how could you tell an owner their pet would be packaged?? I think she could have used other choice words like your dog's cremains would be ready either that day or the next. The next day still no phone call which was a Saturday, I had to wait until Monday to call again. Again I was told by the girl on the phone, my dog was packaged and ready for me to pick up. Very upsetting to hear those choice of words about the dog I loved and missed so much. I was very confused on why when I picked up my dogs ashes the cremation paper said she was cremated that day after she passed. Why did it take 11 more days for me to get my dog back? And why did the girl on the phone tell me she was scheduled to be ready on a different day. The only good thing was they gave me a nice urn with her cremains and a nice clay mold of her paw print. I just hope and pray that it's my dogs cremains I received.

The attention to detail, compassion, and professionalism was remarkable.I wish my Norman could have lived forever. That not being an option Regency Pet Memorial was the next best thing.Thank you all so much! I am truly grateful and words can’t express what you did for me. You are truly wonderful.

Linda assisted me during the difficult process of arranging cremation for our beloved guinea pig. She was kind, compassionate and thoughtful throughout the process. I appreciate all that Linda did to help my children and I get through this very sad and difficult time.

My girl Lola is in the Sleepy Meadow. Carol, Eric and Brian were very kind, understanding and patient through the process. From picking her up at the vetEr to picking out the final memorial pieces, everyone was great. You can tell they care and thats important for me, as this is the resting place for my furrygirl.

I can't say enough how beautiful this is! I did not expect to have my baby back in a beautiful wooden box with a name tag, and not only that, her beautiful pawprint in a box! Amazing, thank you so much

I can’t thank the staff at regency enough! I lost my dog Harley last week and I really wanted an ink print of her paw for a tattoo and they were able to set aside a time for me to come and do it… I have to say I was not expecting it to be so comfortable, She was laid out in a private viewing room and the staff was super nice and understanding. Would definitely recommend them for your pet needs!!!

I had a wonderful experience with Regency. Everyone I spoke to there was so helpful and kind. I called them many times in a state of panic regarding my dog's cremation and how the whole procedure worked. I just can't speak more highly of how helpful they were. I told them I may want to go to view her first. They said no problem and for me to think about it and call them back. They would wait to hear from me. We ended up deciding to go to view her before the cremation. I was amazed at how much better this made us feel. She looked taken care of. I was so worried that they would just throw her in with other animals and not take care of her remains. Everyone was caring and kind. They all gave their condolences. It was professional. The place is cleaner and nicer than most funeral homes that I have been to. When I picked up her remains a few days later, it was easy, she was ready, there was no confusion, etc. When I went home I opened the remains and the tag with the exact same handwriting on it from when I viewed her was in the bag with the remains. I have no doubt that I got her remains back, and that was my one of my biggest concerns. I am saddened to see the one or two bad reviews, because our experience with them was as good as it could be in that situation. I would go there again without a doubt. The place is well taken care of. If I wanted to bury her, I wouldn't have hesitated to do it there. The grounds are beautiful. If you buy a plot for your pet, you can even get cremated and buried there with them. I have nothing but great things to say all around about them.

Losing one of your best friends is bad enough, but having to deal with their remains is something you don't generally think too much about. When our dog Mickey died suddenly, the animal hospital said that Regency Forest was their partner for cremation services. Not expecting to have to research something like this for quite a few more years, we didn't know anything about them, or any other company like them, so we were a little nervous. You only get one shot to do something like this the right way. Thankfully, the people at Regency Forest were really fantastic with us, and I couldn't recommend them higher.I called a couple of days before Mickey was scheduled to be cremated, and asked about the possibility of the private viewing. They gave me the details, but I decided that I couldn't bring myself to do it, so I told them to go ahead with the cremation as planned. The day before it was supposed to take place, I changed my mind and asked if I would still be able to come for the viewing. They said yes, and I made an appointment for later in the week. The day before the appointment, they actually called me to confirm that I wanted to come since I had spoken with two different people and given them two different answers. I really appreciated the follow-up. I also liked the fact that each time I called, I offered to give them the ID number that Mickey had been assigned, but they asked for her name instead. It might not seem like much, but it showed me that they really think of your pet as part of the family, and not just some tag on a body. The day of the appointment, I drove out to the facility, and was really pleased by what I saw. The grounds were well-maintained, the buildings were clean, and everyone was very understanding and friendly. A few minutes before the procedure, Brian came out to the waiting area and gave me the paw print I had requested. He told me which paw he made the imprint with, and gave me instructions on how to care for it over the first couple of days. After that, he walked me back to the cremation area, and gave me a brief description of what I was going to see and what he was going to do. He brought Mickey out, and I could tell that they had taken good care of her. She was covered by black towels, and even had one tucked under her head to keep it level with the rest of her body. He showed me that the chamber was empty and clean, picked her up, gently placed her in the chamber, and closed the door.I don't know how he's emotionally able to do a job like that every day because I was a mess just watching it, but I'm grateful that he does it. He helped send our little girl off in the most dignified way possible. I was given the option to wait or come back to pick up her ashes, and since it was a 3-hour procedure, I chose to come back later that afternoon. Everything was done as promised, and we brought our girl home.It seems like the reviews are all or nothing here, and I guess that makes sense since this is a very difficult thing to face. Without understanding each individual's circumstances, it's impossible to know what might have gone wrong or where, but we felt very comfortable with our experience at Regency Forest. They helped give us closure during a terrible time, and we'll always be grateful to them for that.

Regency Forest Pet Memorial was very caring and helpful to our family’s situation. They answered all of our questions and took great care of our dog, Summer. They worked hand in hand with Lap of Love and together they took care of all our needs. Personally we interacted with Brian both before and after the service. He was sympathetic, understanding and compassionate. He made a difficult day a little better, thank you.

My lab of 13 years passed on November 8, and he was taken to Regency Forest Pet Memorial. To say that the entire staff was incredible and supportive, would be an understatement. They laid my boy out in a private viewing room and provided me the time that I needed to say goodbye to him. I was also allowed to watch him be placed into the crematory. It brought the closure I needed. Carol and the young man (I think his name was Eric or Derrick) who helped with Ralph were so incredibly sensitive and thoughtful. Carol shared with me that she had visited with Ralph that morning. I don’t think she will ever know how much that meant to me.I have him home now and I know that he’s a peace. I want to thank Regency for all that they did to help us through this difficult time.Carol visited him

We lost our beloved dog Spunky. We decided to use Regency for our pet cremation. The staff offered excellent service from the receptionist to the person who took Spunky. The people who work there are compassionate and professional. They presented us with a lovely bag with the urn, a beautiful card and cremation certificate. We highly recommend utilizing Regency as they helped make a difficult situation easier for us to cope with.

Two of my cats are buried here in the Field Of Dreams- and I have their names on the Wall of Remembrance . My cat Maxine passed in August and I had her crermated here. The grounds are very well kept. Personal Service is fair, except they always seem overwhelmed when you call for information and rates- It's like the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. All and all, it is a nice final resting place for your beloved pet.

Yesterday my husband and I lost our very best friend, Cassi. As most pet owners are during this difficult time, we were completely devastated. Our biggest fear was leaving our loving friend alone. We were so very fortunate to find Regency Park, that quickly was able to put all of our fears at ease. Because we were bringing Cassi in ourselves, we were able to get a cremation appointment the same day. We were able to walk into the funeral parlor holding Cassi. The cremation technician, Brian, met us and asked us if we wanted to say goodbye one last time. Although we were unsure, Brian took Cassi and wrapped her in a warm towel and put her in the Chapel room where we were able to say goodbye to her and spend some last moments with her. We chose to watch the cremation- unable to leave our little one alone. Regency Park has viewing rooms where you are able to be along side your loved pet through the entire process, if you so choose. Brian professionally and sensitively walked us through the entire process so there were no surprises. We were able to ensure that Cassi was cremated alone, in a clean cremation oven, and chose to stay with her through the three hour process so that we knew that we left with her ashes. Being able to do that gave both myself and my husband tremendous closure and peace of mind. We are grateful that respectful place like this exists for all animals.

And we are so proud to be part of his life!To all the staff at Regency Forest Pet Memorial, we are eternally grateful for your care and professionalism.Brian, sir, I salute you and just know I will always remember you for your upmost sympathy and compassion. When you allowed us to spend a few private minutes with our Louie, that meant the world to me.You are amazing and Regency Forest Pet Memorial is blessed to have you.Thank you sir for handling Louie with such gentle care and affection. And lastly, when we arrived home with Louie and his cute urn, a paw print emerged and WOW that made our day!Regency Forest Pet Memorial, your business, your attention to detail and goodwill will always be remembered.Thank you and much love to all of you!

My dog passed away in the first week of April and my Veterinarian had me fill out the form for Individual Cremation. I listed 2 contact phone numbers on the cremation form. They never called me once. I stopped in 2 weeks after my dog’s death to inquire if his ashes were ready and to pay for them. I was told that they were not ready yet. I called the 3rd week and was told that they were waiting for me to pay. So I give them a credit card over the phone for $380.I was then told that they will bring my dogs ashes out to the Animal Hospital It is now May 26th and my Veterinarian is trying to get in touch with Regency Forest Pet Memorial but all they get is a recording machine. After a month & a half, I can not feel confident that I am getting my dogs ashes back. I feel that I will be getting a scoop of ashes from a mass cremation.VARY VERY DISAPPOINTED with their lack of communication and lack of empathy for those grieving the loss of a pet.

I had two of my hamsters cremated at this location. Excellent service. The staff are super kind and professional at all times, and the grounds are beautiful and surprisingly soothing. For small pets (like hamsters), there is not much of a choice in urn design but both urns I got were beautiful, and both different designs. I highly recommend using Regency Forest!

After 19 years, our forever puppy, Willow passed away. We had Regency Forest, take care of her. There aren't enough words to describe how our puppy was returned. ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Thank you so much. She's beautiful!!!Thank you again... the Forte family.

We requested our 7-month old kitten, Mog, to be cremated after he died on 1/29/21. The vet said we can expect to receive his cremation ashes in 2-3 weeks. On 2/23, the vet said Regency crematory's truck came but didn't have Mog's ashes; Regency offered to FedEx them overnight to me. The vet recommended to avoid shipping because things can "get lost in the mail," and I agreed, so we told Regency to bring Mog's ashes to the vet the next week and I will come personally to pick up. Next week arrives, 3/2, and the vet calls me to ask if I received Mog's ashes. Apparently Regency ignored my request and went ahead and shipped Mog's ashes...(1) without telling me, (2) without confirming my shipping address --they shipped to the wrong address!, and (3) ignoring the note on my file to NOT ship.Regency completely ignored the fact that cremains should NOT be shipped by any other carrier but USPS, and receipt of cremains should always be accompanied by a signature. We and our vet have spoken to Regency multiple times on 3/2. They said they will call us back but they never did.We still do not know where Mog is and we are heartbroken and devastated that we will never see him again. We are still grieving over his unexpected death (from a neutering anesthesia complication), and now it feels like we have lost him all over again. We do not know how to process how Regency could act in such an unprofessional manner. I caution everyone to avoid Regency. We trusted them with our kitten and they responded with disrespect and carelessness.

I had a sudden death of my beautiful Newfie Saturday night. I called regency to remove the dog because it was 10 degrees out and I did not want her out all night in the cold. My dog was a beautiful 160LB new Foundland. The driver showed up within an hour of us calling to remove her, he was professional, courteous and the dog went in a warm van. I originally was going to do the cremation but my son came home from skiing and wanted to bury the dog with our other deceased Newfie. I left a message on Monday but they were closed for the MLK Holiday. Carol returned my call first thing Tuesday morning. I spoke with her and she could not of been more nice and understanding. We worked out to pick up our Newfie and Carol would even wrap her in a blanket that we will bring. I am not one to write reviews as you can see however, I felt compelled to write this one. Thanks Carol!

This establishment is a reputable place and does well by your pet. Make sure you follow up a few times as to what you want. I wanted two paw prints and some fur to be clipped. They forgot to do both. Luckily I found some fur I had saved ...this is not hard...before you go forward with any cremation make sure you know what your client needs to be done before hand. I was disappointed. The service was fast though, my first cat took weeks before I got him back but this time I received her within a couple of weeks.

On Saturday June 9th our family lost our dog. At that time, I called Regency Forest and advised them of our loss. Regency sent there staff out on a Saturday to pick Tank up at our home. From the start of this horrible process to the end the regency staff went above and beyond. The entire staff was so compassionate and polite. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable with the cremation process. The urn that we received was amazing I couldn’t be happier. When we went to Regency Forest to pick up Tanks remains I was taken back. As we drove up the drive way I could not believe what I was seeing. The grounds were ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL… it gave me a sense of peace. I knew the second we drove up that driveway that we made the right decision when choosing Regency. My thanks to the entire staff at Regency Forest for taking care of Tank. If your ever have to go through losing a pet I would HIGHLY recommend you contact Regency Forest.

We decided to cremate our family dog of 15 years at Recency after she passed. This wasn’t a decision my mother took lightly since she was the dog’s primary care taker but she lived close by and thought she could come see her and leave her flowers often. We got her a plaque with a sweet message so my mom would know exactly where to find her. Well, my mother tried to visit her yesterday and the plaque was gone. My mother, heartbroken, called me to let me know it was gone. I don’t understand how you can get rid of things that hold so much meaning to someone when we paid $300 to get her cremated and be laid to rest there. Would not recommend to anyone who loves their pet because apparently this place could care less.

Recency Forest recently held a funeral for my sister's dog Godzilla. The staff was very professional and sincerely empathic for our loss. They were very understanding and had set up everything very beautifully. The area where the cemetery is and the space that held the funeral is clean, organized, and just nicely set up. They treated our deceased dog, Godzilla very respectfully and made her look good. They are good people to be doing this for beloved pets and pet owners. I didn't know what to expect nor had expectations but the service they provided was beyond.

Completely unreliable, unprofessional and unresponsive. We were promised but Regency Forest failed to get us the promised clay paw print of our beloved Labradoodle Ella. My child was incredibly upset and we didn't even get an apology. I really have no words for such a terrible experience on top of the agony of losing a beloved family member. The reviews also clearly note that this is not a company that can be trusted to deliver.

DO NOT USE the Regency family pet cremation In middle island located at 760 Middle Country Rd. They have had our for over a month and wouldn’t cremate him due to an outstanding balance that our family didn’t know about because NO ONE filled in a price and NO ONE from that office called to contact us. They said they would mail the remains in the mail. our dog passed away 3/26 and this place had him all this time 🤬. Thank god we called this place cause they obviously weren’t reaching out to us !!

I have had five different pets cremated at Regency Forest. I just brought our cat there to be cremated and was told it is now $411 to cremate a pet. You have lost a long time customer. That is ridiculous.

After losing my dog Sandy to lymphoma, I contacted Regency Forest Pet Memorial after using them twice in the past with my other dogs. Since I was moving the following week, I explained my situation and while it normally takes at least a week to complete the cremation process, they completed it in an expedited time frame to ensure that I could bring Sandy with me when I moved out of state. Everyone is very compassionate and helpful and I would recommend them without hesitation. The Gomez Family (Sandy)

After 10 short but amazing years together we lost our beautiful fur baby Nala on 4/26/19 and immediately contacted Regency Forest to ask about their cremation service. Upon arriving we were surprised at how beautiful the grounds were as we had passed by more times then we can count, never actually having to drive up the driveway until that day. We checked in with the women at the desk and made an appointment for a private cremation for Monday 4/29 and were told that someone would come out to get our baby. Brian ( I believe) came out and was nothing but nice and offered his condolences, he let us say our goodbyes before bringing Nala into the building. We had a blanket on her so he kindly put it in a bag and brought it back out to us. On our way to the appointment on Monday we hit traffic and were running about 5 minutes late so we called just to make sure that they knew we were on our way and to ease our minds that they wouldn’t start without us which they didn’t of course. Once we arrived Brian took us to a private viewing room and we were able to see our beautiful little girl through the window laid on a black towel with another over her body and one more under her head as a pillow. As hard as it was and it may not be for everyone, I’m relieved that we opted for the private cremation as we were able to see that it was in fact private. We were told that it would take about 3 hours and we could take her ashes home that day. We didn’t choose an urn so we received the ashes in a purple tin that is actually very nice, I love the “Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge” on the top and the paw prints on the sides, it was wrapped in tissue paper and in a nice bag. The ashes are in a zip loc bag but I have no complaints there as they can’t know what you will ultimately decide to do with them so they leave them as accessible as they possibly can for you. I just want to say that during such a difficult time, Regency made it as easy on us as they could and Brian was genuinely such a nice person who helped make the process a little easier emotionally on us.

Regency Staff were wonderful - through this most difficult situation, they were there for us - with such caring and thoughtful words and actions. I highly recommend Regency for every family when they lose their loving pet. Thank you again for your kind words and services - I know you took such good care of Shelby as if she were your own.

Over the years, I have taken several of my beloved Saint Bernards to Regency Forest so their cremains could come back home to us. I have always had the most positive experience possible for such a heart wrenching time. I have seen some negative remarks about the "tin" in which the ashes were returned. First of all, there are many different options if you wish to upgrade the container. You are paying for the actual cremation service. But, Regency did listen to the comments. Our Hans was returned to us in a nice wooden box to which we have affixed a name plate, so that he can rest with our others passed Saints. Unfortunately, we will be visiting again all too soon.

I picked up my dog ashes today. The vet used this company services. The ashes are in a zip lock bag, placed in a wooden box. The pawprint is bearly imprinted in the clay. They clay is still wet, I hope when it hardens the print remains and is more visible. I do like the case the print came in, it has a space to put her picture in. It also came with a certificate of cremation.

I have never used an outside crematory for my other pets until this last little guy I had because I had no idea of my other options. I cant believe the return package and quality service it provided me!First, I live in the five boroughs of NYC - Someone referred me to this crematory in Long Island 1.5 hours way from me! In doing research I knew I wanted my dog to go here and I was oddly prepared to drop him off myself. But in calling the crematory they were willingly to pick my dog up and drop him back off to our vet for the same price it cost to do the cremation! NO ADDITIONAL COST - I could not believe it. I was so overwhelmed thinking of driving to drop my deceased dog myself. Its just weird. But he was returned in a timely manor between 5 & 7 business days and again surprisingly provided with a cute urn (not of choice) that I can insert his photo into it as well. I was not aware an urn was returned with him (something I didnt ask or was told) We paid extra to have his paw print on a ceramic plate. It was presented in a beautiful leather pouch with the rainbow bridge poem inside of it but the print could have been better - wasn't pleased felt it could have been pressed better but at this point nothing you can do so be sure to mention it for your future animals. We can also have his name engraved on a wall for additional cost. He as a "private cremation" which means I got MY DOG Back not mixed in with others. Which is why I opted out of what the vet uses because it looks scary not pleasant and relaxing as this place does.My only negative (at the vet as well )- both places would not provide me an INK PAD Print of his paw and I even suggested a sharpie on his paw and stamp it any paper or napkin! I wanted this for a possible tattoo in future. This truly upset me because how hard can it be to do this? Being in the funeral business for 10 years I go above and beyond for my families to make sure we get anything they ask for, for their loved ones.So for future reference make sure you bring an ink paid the day of the euthanasian if you wish to have it, if your vet doesn't do it. Because it was definitely an after thought way before he was transferred to the crematory and still at the VET.All in all, I didn't interact with the crematory for more than 5 mins (process was easy & quick) so I really cant say if they are personable. First girl I spoke to was sincere, second call I made, was short and kirt. Cant take it personal. World is overwhelming. I don't care, my dog was cremated alone and he is now home safe and sound. Thank you!*It was worth the extra money*

After bringing all 5 of my pets here and driving over an hour each time to do so, there must be a reason I keep bringing them here. The staff is always friendly and understanding. Brian... You the real mvp. Thank you for taking care of my kids for me. Regency has always been accommodating, treating me and my pet with the utmost respect. For those of you that are concerned with price tag, yes they are a little more expensive than some... But when it comes to your pets which you see as family, it's well worth it. I've always said, "my kids (pets) deserve the best". And that's why I bring them to Regency.

I could not have had a better experience. Me and my husband had a horrible time dealing with putting down our cat and was so upset. We decided to have him cremated and was told he'd be returned to us in two weeks. Which was alittle upsetting, I didn't wanna leave him and I wanted him home for the holidays. Now mind you all this was the fault of the vets not regency. I called Monday morning to ask some questions about getting him sooner. They where extremely nice, told me I could bring him down within the hour and they could fit me in!!! I was shocked, the vet never told me any of this. I'm so glad I called. I got to bring him in myself, the people there are so friendly and caring. I was able to see him again, had a private viewing, was able to watch and make sure everything was done properly. The nice, man laid him out the best he could and had him wrapped lovingly. (The vet froze him). You could really tell they cared about your animal. You were able to sit there for the whole thing and wait. Which I did, I couldn't stand to leave him alone again. I really wish the vet had given me more information about what I was paying for. I would have missed all this, to think I could have just taking him right in that day and my husband could've been there. They put him nicely in my own urn I bought with me and wrapped him up nicely. There was no pushy sales people trying to sell you things. Thou they did have alot of really beautiful urns. Iam so thankful for them, making this the nicest experience I could ask for. My only thing is the vet should've been more knowledgeable. I hope regency sees this and knows that the vet's are not doing the best job at offering there services. Had I never calling my poor baby would still be alone and have had missed out on chance to have a little kitty funeral. I would hope to say I will never have to go back again but I know that's not true. I just know now, with my other babys, there experience will be perfect and I know what to do. Thank you regency for treating my cats life with the respect he deserved. Your all angels and do an amazing work.

I’m sad to see any bad reviews. I just lost my baby girl Lucy a couple days ago and I couldn’t of been happier with how I received her ashes. First, I was not expecting to receive them that fast. I just lost her on the 19th. Second, I was truly thinking I was going to pick her ashes up in a wood box that I couldn’t access her ashes in. Her ashes came packed in a nice bag with tissue paper. She was inside a beautiful tin with the quote “Until we meet again at the rainbow Bridge” reading that after picking my baby girl up gave me a sense of comfort and I can’t say enough of how thankful I am that my vet used your crematory. From now on I’ll only use your company. Thank you Regency Pet Memorial for taking such good care of my baby girl Lucy <3

I have brought 7 of dogs here in the last 10 years. They are very nice and caring people that work there. Brian and Mike have always been very caring. They are very compassionate and help to ease your pain. The last several times I have gone there Brain has been there. He is so caring from beginning to end. I would just like to say thank you Brian from the bottom of my heart.

I just picked up my Angel's ashes and I was so amazed how beautiful the urn was and I was totally shocked when I saw my Angel's paw print. That was truly a nice surprise. You made a sad moment into a happier one.Thank you so very much. You certainly know how to make an animal lover happy with your beautiful work. I will recommend you to my family and friends.

They don’t care about what happens to your dog actually, they just want your money. I had my dog cremated here and we made sure of every detail going forward, we made sure several times to make sure we get a paw print and once we came back to retrieve her ashes they simply said “we forgot” as if that is something that is a mistake that we can backtrack and fix. No, she is turned into ashes and they just provided a refund. If you actually care about your pet and what happens to them after their passing take them somewhere else, not here.

It has been over two years since I took Kissy for her final trip there and I still remember how respectful, compassionate was the staff. Most important to me was the ability to walk in there with her and walk out the same day and they were able to make that happen with the option of being able to say good bye and watch the process, which allowed me to be with her through out. I recommend this place to anyone who has lost their beloved pet.

Today my Snicker was cremated. The genuine, warm and comforting attention I received at the Viewing building, exceeded my expectations. Thank you Carol for making me feel welcomed and listening to the many wonderful memories Snicker gave me. Thank you Bill for treating my Snicker with such care and respect until the end. She looked so good! That was My Snicker I saw for the last time! Thank you Regency for selecting such beautiful staff. I now have closure.

Our beloved Nate was put down on July 24. Since we wanted an individual cremation, he wasn't scheduled until today. At 9:00 today, we cremated Nate and we had a few moments with him, watching him from a glass window. He was resting on a comfortable bed and his head was resting on a rolled up green towel. Brian made a paw print for us and the way he handled Nate's limp body was really filled with loving care, respect and dignity. We will never be complete again. There is a gaping hole in our hearts. Our sincere thanks to the staff who assisted us during our time of grief: Ashley, Anne, Carol, Brian and Dominique. Thank you Regency Forest Pet Memorial.

After more than 12 perfect years together, I had to say goodbye (for now) to my beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Theo. I don't normally write a lot of internet reviews, but I felt I had to leave a message about my experience with Regency Forest Pet Memorial services. When you are consumed by grief, it is sometimes hard to think straight and it is important for pet parents to both know all their options AND have faith in the facility they entrust with their fur baby's final moments.Everyone at Regency Forest was such a blessing and comfort to me and my family in our time of need. Many people don't know this, but places like Regency Forest offer a full spectrum of services that directly correlate to a human's funeral home. Their beautiful website is easy to navigate and I advise you to spend some time on it, speak to someone from Regency Forest, and make decisions BEFORE your beloved companion's parting. That way, you can feel comfortable and confident in the plan and don't have to make hard decisions when you are overwhelmed by grief. However, even if you do need them at the last minute, they will be there for you.I opted to have a private viewing for one last time with my Theo, followed by a private cremation. Nicole helped me make the arrangements. She was so kind, patient and considerate with me. When I arrived for the viewing and cremation, I was taken care of by Brian and Carol. Theo was displayed on a beautiful table with flowers, his head gently resting on a pillow like the angel he was in life. Brian and Carol let me know I could take my time saying goodbye and they were so tender & supportive of me throughout the process. I was able to see the crematorium, that it was clean, and I watched my angel's body be placed in the crematorium. Some might not like this, but it was an important final step for me to complete the circle of life. I waited 3 hours for them to process his remains and took him home with me that day. He is now in a beautiful urn in my living room beside a framed picture and his collar.I will be using Regency Forest for all my animal memorial needs from here on out. I can't give enough stars for the remarkable service I received. In memory of Theo Whitlock (1/8/2007 - 1/18/2019)

This place is very unprofessional. They don’t pay attention to details. As a result they were not able to pick up my beautiful lab from the Animal Medical Center in nyc because they didn’t give the driver the right information. I asked them to chalk me when they could pick her up to confirm they head her and they never did. I have to call a week later to find out. Her urn was supposed to be ups overnight to me but wasn’t. When I finally received it there were ashes all over the box or urn, the paw print was just a clump of clay. I would never recommend them.

Cremation was handled through my local vet. I had never heard of this wonderful place. The cremains are in a handsome container, the paw print on the heart is so beautiful & the sympathy card with the Rainbow Bridge is a treasure. Many thanks!

Horror Show in the Middle Island facilityThe viewing was disgusting and disrespectful to my pet and me! Mouth open frozen red eye open a old towel on him in a shed like chapel?? Ugh omg!! I got a refund for this disgraceful disaster

Everything for our cat Milo was completed in a timely fashion. Although we have had pets cremated her before, it was always through our vet. This time, we dealt directly with Regency. It seemed like almost everyone we dealt with was very nonchalant. Not uncaring or aloof, but sort of like, so used to this routine, that there is no feeling behind it. The three stars is mostly for seeing that two staff members were not wearing masks. They had many clients picking-up cremains (multiple bags stacked on a desk in plain sight of everyone coming in-quite disconcerting). There is just no excuse for a workplace that deals with the public to allow masks to be optional during a surge in Covid cases

When you lose a beloved pet the last thing you want to worry about is the reputation of the place you choose to cremate or bury them at. You will never have to worry about RF. They are kind, compassionate and affordable. They empathize with you on your loss & Brian, the gentle man who is responsible for taking your pet from you is one of the nicest, kindest man you'll ever meet. If you choose to wait for your pet's ashes, RF has beautiful grounds & a comfy waiting room complete with a tv, coffeemaker & eats. You can have a private viewing (at no extra charge, appointment suggested) or Brian will give you a few moments alone in a funeral room. Beautiful place, beautifully run by beautiful people.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. DO NOT HAVE THEM CREMATE YOUR PET! They sound so nice and caring on the phone when you speak with them but in reality they are extremely incompetent and you have no idea if it is your pet that you are receiving! The paw print I received was NOT my Dogs and I pray that the ashes are my dogs, but who knows! STAY AWAY!

Toward the end of December, the UPS package containing my beloved cat's ashes 'disappeared' - never delivered, and no tracking after it was scanned at so called Funeral Home. And Regency has done NOTHING to help.... or even apologize, or communicate. Until this day, my phone has still *never* rung with a person from Regency calling on the other end. Can you imagine? Only me emailing and calling them dozens of times in the past two weeks. And i would have never even known about it.... hadn't i asked my vet tech for the tracking number. It also appears more every day that UPS were likely not the ones who 'lost' this package. and Regency has barely worked with UPS on this, it's been all me, myself, doing all the leg work, for the past two weeks. They could not care less that I did not receive my cat's ashes, and continue to prove it every day. I am DEVASTATED and it has been weeks of mental trauma and torture. This was my adored pet, my beloved 20 year old cat and this is how they treat people, let alone, grieving, paying customers! If you even think about using this place, don't walk -- run the other way. Negative zero stars and I am not giving up.

Asked why the cremation box with my dog ashes was chipped and scratched was told we dropped it with your dog remains inside. What!!!!! That's unacceptable. Oh we will send out a new box for the dog ashes. Now I'm going to have to disturb my dog, remove his ashes that I don't want to see. This place is horrendous. Was told my dog weighed 10 pounds after death that was a lie he wasn't 10 pounds healthy if he was 2-3 pounds at death that was alot. Stay away from this place. It's a money making place with no ❤️ heart. I'm heartbroken and have to deal with nonsense. Find another place for cremation. Now I worry if the ashes I got back is even my dog. Heartbroken.Response back: yes you did I have it recorded you saying it was dropped with my dogs ashes in it. You don't even remember what you say. You never said that you would transfer the ashes. Lies all lies. All it is is a money making business that's all. No regards for the death of a family members pet.

If I could put negative stars I would. First off, I got cat put to sleep on a Tuesday and when I called to arrange pick up, they told me they were sending a car to get him that day and they didn't pick up my cat until Thursday. When I called the first time on Tuesday, they told me it would take 7 to 10 days until I received the remains. 12 days later, I called and they told me they were sending them back in 2 days, though he had been done since the Friday of the week he passed. I also reminded them that I had paid extra to have a clay impression of his paw made. So 2 days later, the vet called that the remains had arrived...2 weeks later. So I go home excited to see the paw print that I paid $40 extra dollars for and low and behold, it's not my cats. How would I know that might you ask? It had visible deep claw marks and my cat was declawed. The clay was also still wet. Then, I talk to somebody who is an employee there that tells me that unless you go for the private viewing of them burning your pet, they don't separate the animals. I'm so glad I paid $260 for the remains of people's cats and roadkill, then another $40 for a paw print from some random cat. So do yourself a favor and don't use this company. They took 15 years of my life and threw it into a furnace with everything else and then forgot to make his paw print and gave me one of a random pet. So I have absolutely nothing of my childhood pet because of this "business". Oh, they gave me a wooden box with his name on it because they messed up the pawprint. So I can put the remains of 54 random animals remains in it.

It's a hard door to go through losing a pet. Regency's Staff made the whole process easy, mainly for my son. They were compassionate every step of way. The Pre -Cremation process went smoothly and the Paw Imprint was a nice memory, so we did not leave with an empty feeling. And the peaceful grounds setting made it worth the drive.

My wife, and I, waited almost ONE MONTH to receive our babies' ashes. After numerous phone calls, and delays, we FINALLY got them. The bag the "urn" came in was ripped on BOTH sides, AND the "urn" was DENTED!!! How are we supposed to move forward when we can't even get the burial process right!!! I am highly disappointed with this company, and I would not recommend them to anyone who was unfortunate enough to have lost a loved one. Money is number one at Regency- Presentation is not.Follow up: I received a call shortly after my review from a supervisor at Regency Forest. I was issued an apology and a promise to give me a better urn with a replacement bag. This was a nice gesture. However, it took me almost two weeks to get it. Once again, I had to call and find out what was going on. Turns out my address was wrong. I would never have known if I didn't call back. I finally received the urn, and it was an improvement.I really want to be fair because maybe there are people who would like to use Regency Forest for cremation. I am not one of those people. They attempted to correct the mistake, and I appreciate that. However their lack of communication and follow through really burns me up. It's not what anyone should go through during the grieving process. I know no one is perfect and mistakes happen but, according to other reviews, this is an occurrence that happens too often.

Terrible/heart wrenching experience. My dog passed away on Friday June 17th. Called Saturday to let them know I wanted to view cremation. They told me I would get a call once the pet was with them. Monday morning. No call. I call at 10:30 am. They say my pet is not there yet that I will get a call next morning. Tuesday comes. No call. I call again. They can't find the paperwork. Finally we make appointment for Friday at noon a viewing. I get a call Thursday at 5:30 pm to let me know my dog was cremated by mistake earlier in the week and they are sorry. There was a miscommunication. A misscomunication?!! How do you miss communicate 3 times and when the stakes are so darn high?!!! Apparently there was zero communication between the driver who picked him up and the administration you speak to to make arrangements. Something is very wrong in that system. I lost my companion of 12 yrs to cancer and needed closure and this ceremony. I am heartbroken and reliving his death. I wish I could shut them down so this doesn't happen to another pet owner ever again, but unfortunately no agency regulates these kinds of places. I wish I could give zero stars.

Regency Forest was a ray of sunshine in a very dark and devastating time. I had to say goodbye to my beloved dog and I was (still am)heartbroken. I called to make the arrangements in tears and the sweet woman in the phone patiently waited for me to get all the words out and offered her condolences. She repeated back all of the information to ensure there were no miscommunications.Brian attended to all of Chopper's final needs and he was beyond caring and compassionate. Chopper was treated with dignity and as a member of a family. That was a priceless comfort.

I used to think this was the best place. I have taken many pets here in the past and the experience was wonderful. Now, like everyone else, they are getting greedy. In addition to the cremation price of $260 plus tax to cremate my cat, they are now charging $150.00 just to sit with your pet before the cremation. Totally insane. I will now go elsewhere. I have to travel far but it will be worth it. People who take advantage of people who are devastated by the loss of their pet do not deserve my business. It is a shame too because it is a nice place. I took my cat to the Bide A Wee in Westhampton. It was not as new and rich looking as Regency....but the people were wonderful, the service was great and they are alot cheaper. Bide A Wee will now get my business.

I do not know if this is happening to all other clients, but the billing department does not like to close the envelopes of the invoices. All your personnel information is on the invoice. Has this happened to anyone else? They do not seem to care, maybe talking to much....Thank you,

From the moment we walked in we were treated like Family. The way Brian handled my beloved lab Remi was beyond compassionate. He truly understood the pain and loss we were feeling. If you want your beloved pet to be treated as family this is the place to bring them!

I was so disappointed after picking up my beloved dog, Puffy's paw print. I couldn't tell what it was and the lady told me the person, who took care of it, didn't press it hard enough... I thought maybe because it was on white clay but even I painted it in color, I still couldn't tell. I am crying so hard because this is the last thing he left me to remember.. what were they thinking? I can get him back to do it again. It hurts me badly.. they didn't care how important this means for the owner..

I paid for a individual creamation and a paw print my beloved shih tzu passed away on July 29th on August 9th the vets office called me to say that his pawprint was in I said what about his ashes they told me to call regency I called on August 10th spoke to Carol asked her why his pawprint was delivered and not his ashes she asked me my name and my pets name and said this was a group creamation right I said no individual ( why would I be calling to ask u where his ashes are if it was a group creamation) anyway she said she would check her paperwork and call me back which she did and said that paperwork stated that is was a individual creamation and would be delivered monday I specifically said to her if there was a mistake and he went with a group creamation to just tell me because I dont want other dogs ashes i looked at paperwork he was supposedly cremated on August 1st so why wasn't everything delivered together when I opened the box there was a white tag with his name No weight on paper which I found odd my other dog was cremated there and hers had her weight on the paper and she was the same size as him and In his box was triple the amount of ashes that was in hers so with all this being said I Don't believe these ashes belong to my dog which is very sad as I paid for a service. Will never trust them again.

Took a full week to get my dogs ashes. I also pre paid for it and did not know the weight of my dog so I said 60lbs ( they charge by the pound I was told). They charged me for 50-74 lb dog which I was fine with. When I picked up the ashes and got home I noticed it said my dogs weight was 40lb. You would think the place would say I'm sorry for your loss also here is a credit for the dogs weight being 20lbs lighter. They did not. I called today and asked about it. They said oh it's only $10.83 difference ,which I find hard to believe and she said do you want that. Who would say that.

Horrible service, I have been paying my maintaince for years. I complained that area around my pets plot was a mess. Overgrown bushes planted by other pet owners , wire fences , blocks and old items left behind. For years I’ve tried to have it cleaned up. I spoke several times to manager who told me , it would be take care of. Today I visited my pets plot , and mess still there. Once again spoke to manager who agreed , these things should not be there , but there was nothing she could do.I informed her I would be stopping payment of my maintnance, she said ok , turned around and walked away. People pay a lot of money , to put their beloved pet in a nice place. To be treated like this is horrible. Please take your pet to a more loving and caring place.

I highly recommended Regency. The staff were kInd and patient. Polite. Compassionate. Tasteful. Comforting. This was the closure I needed and a beautiful way to say goodbye to my Lil Copi. The grounds are beautiful and the viewing house so exquisitely done. Great job everyone in helping us say goodbye.

Beware - this business charges $45 for shipping the ashes of your deceased pet no matter where you live or how heavy the package is.As the owner of a small business myself, I know what is entailed creating a UPS shipment, which is not much. I entered the exact information from the box of my dog's ashes on UPS and the amount to ship was $10.24. That's a $35 charge to the customer which is completely unjustified. As a business owner & consumer I have never been charged extra for the supplies needed to ship a package, never heard of this, has anyone? When I contacted them I was told by Linda that there's more that goes into the shipment such as the packaging (a box), the equipment to print a label (a laser printer), the tape (seriously?) and the process of getting the shipment together (putting it into the box), This is wrong on so many levels.

I went there recently with my dog who recently passed. The girl at the front desk was terribly rude and the manger Rob was even worse. When Lenny and his dad owned it everyone was wonderful there, Lenny please open a new place these new people are terrible.

I had my Oliver, Smokey Black Penny Copper Eyed Persian individually cremated at Regency Forest. Passed June 29, 2019. I was disappointed to find Oliver in a tin lidded box. When opened and unwrapped the purple tissue paper I found his ashes in a zip lock bag, not sealed with a good amount of ash in the tissue. Having to pouring his remains back into the bag having ash dust everywhere saddened me. They even placed the tin and pawprint box upside down in the bag. I'd like to think these simple details are important for us who get our precious 4 legged friends back home. I had my feline Chester also individually cremated 9 months ago also with Regency Forest receiving him in a sealed wooden box. What happened to that? Tin box with a left sticker, "made in China". Disappointed. Sloppy work. Kaszy Carlson

5 stars is not enough for regency pet cemetry . I dont know where to begin my little angel (pixie) passed away on march 21 at blue pearl emergency hospital and at the hospital they told me about regency cremation . Blue peral gave me 2 options private cremation or not private i choosed private because my lil angel meant soo much to me . I called regency to ask how do i go about it . When i called they were extremely friendly and nice and explained everything to me . The pet cemetery is a bit far from me i live in brooklyn and its about 2 hours from me but i didnt care if it was 10 hours . I get there and as soon as i pulled in i was soo amazed at how beautiful this place was nothing i mean nothing like what people have posted on the reviews . As soon as i walked in they greeted me so kind amd with so much sympathy. Pixie’s vewing area was soo beautiful and the way the layed her down she looked like she was sleeping . I am stunned ive been to some funeral homes for humans and it is nothing like coming to regency pet cemetery who ever that goves this place a bad view i dont know what they are thinking cause everyone and everything was perfect albert that cremated pixie was the best he reassured me that he would take care of pixie . I cant thank albert enough you are the best!!! So all i habe to say go with ur better judgement and not listen to some people that are jusy negative . I love this place and will recommend to everyone that loves their pet

Our vet went through Regency Forest to cremate our cat. The tin that he came back in is super tacky and cheap, and the ashes came in an honest-to-god ziploc bag. They left the "separate cremation" tag in the bag as well. The condolence paperwork that came with it was nothing but attempts to sell more services. We paid more for this cremation than any other in NYC, and the quality was subpar AT BEST.

So happy I went here with my family. My cat Kenya died in April, she was cremated & laid to rest here. The grounds are spectacular & well maintained. A very nice final resting place for her.

I had my bird cremated here today they were wonderful after the day we had yesterday with our beloved bird they didn't cremated my bird at the other place which they were supposed to so my husband called regency they said come in at 8 cause they ever closed. They were so nice I can't say a bad thing about them. Bless you all

Horrible experience and horrible treatment of me and my pet, whos name they got wrong. I called the day of his passing during normal business hours and the next day they call me with record of the call. If thats the case whom did I give my credit info over the phone the day prior and should I now being worried I gave it to the wrong person. Had a fun call the next day from them while at work arguing with the receptionist who was more concerned with my payment then rectifying the situation and my pets name.Would not recommend them to anyone dealing with my grief.

Went to pick up our pets ashes today. Was surprised at seeing such a very young staff playing loud Country and Western Music So disrespectful for customers grieving their pets. I hope they have quality control in the identification of ashes. I was disappointed to say the least.

Caring & accommodating staff, immaculate place, so happy we went there for a private, dignified, peaceful cremation for our beloved dog. Carol and Brian's compassionate demeanor was so comforting.

I love them!! they were so amazing for what they did for my dog . I was expecting just an urn and they went above and beyond and made a paw print of him :) y’all are so amazing and very pleasant to work with ! The respect and love and sympathy upon guys have for the pets and they’re owners are amazing !!

Called to ask about my rabbit being cremated (he passed away), and when I mentioned it the person over the phone simply said "Okay.". No simple amount of condolences or kindness offered. Their website is also broken and insecure.

My sweet dog passed away late last night & I brought her here & I can’t say enough nice things about the staff and the way everything was handled. I’m fortunate to live close by, but would travel to this wonderful place again to have my loving pets final ending to take place. Thanks to the entire staff on such a very sad day for me and my family.

I have used regency for my dogs and cats over the years.....they have been nothing but first class.....easy to deal with and always looking to help you.....Brian, who does the pet intake is a great man...very caring and understands how much your pet means too you.....I thank everybody at regency....

Very pleased and happy for the lovely job Regency Forest did cremating and honoring my beloved Simon... Simon came back to me in a lovely wrapped box... with a certificate of the date cremated... and information to help with the mourning process... and other ways to honor and remember Simon... it was a traumatic experience for me... Simon was my little buddy, so sweet and so adorable and Regency Forest helped make the entire process less stressful and for this I’m grateful.

Kitty Anderson-Galvez

I HAVE CREMATED A NUMBER OF MY FURRY SOULMATES HERE. MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN, THEY ARE PROFESSIONAL, PATIENT, HELPFUL, AND COMPASSIONATE. THEIR GROUNDS AND BUILDINGS ARE BEAUTIFUL. ALSO, YOU CAN VIEW THAT IT IS YOUR BABY BEING CREMATED, BEGINNING TO END. YOU KNOW IT'S YOURS, NOT SOMEONE ELSE OR A FAKE. I WANT TO ADD, I BRING MY BABY THERE, I DON'T HAVE IT SENT FROM THE VET. I WANT THEM WITH ME THE WHOLE TIME TILL THE CREMATION. (I HAVE HELD THEM IN AN OLD REFRIGERATOR OR FREEZER THAT'S ON, TILL I BRING THEM). THEN I PICK THEM UP, IF I HAD TO LEAVE.

Hey does anyone know if they do mass burning? Because my dog passed away last year on this day, and I've read some articles that some of these pet cemetery do enclosed cremation...and I'm wondering if they cremate all the animals together....

If you can use anywhere else, I mean absolutely anywhere else. Do it. Waste of money. Rude. Uncaring. Just awful all around. Don't do it. Run away from this place if you're here to see if you should use them. Save yourself don't make the same mistake I did.

I am ill and live too far away to go to Regency Forest. So I had them pick up my dog and cremate her. I chose a wooden urn with a statue of an adult Wheaten Terrier on it. They shipped me the urn with her ashes in it. I always wondered if my dog's ashes were really in the urn. I'm writing this 5 years later when the urn cracked. I called Regency Forest hoping they would help. They couldn't have been any nicer. Linda, I think the manager, took care of everything. She contacted the company that makes the urns and arranged to have them send me a new one. When I opened the urn to remove the ashes, I was relieved to find her ashes with a tag that had her name, my name, her breed and the date she died. While I realize that it could be fake, I really believe they were my Princess's ashes. I would highly recommend using Regency Forest. I would definitely use them again.
