We found InstaVet while looking for a place to help us put our cat to sleep after an unexpected and quick decline. The staff here helped us schedule an appointment the same day, and were caring and compassionate throughout the process. The actual procedure was done with care and skill, and every staff member we interacted with was professional and gentle of our situation. We are so thankful we were able to say goodbye to our pet in a calm, compassionate place. We would absolutely recommend InstaVet and their compassionate staff.

Back in August my 9 1/2 year old Staffordshire Terrier, urgently needed life saving emergency surgery. After calling countless Veterinarian ERs in the city, InstaVet quoted the most affordable price (by at least a few thousand dollars). Since I didn’t have the total amount to pay the whole bill up front they referred me to Care Credit which I was approved for in 5 minutes, I believe they also offer a InstaVet payment plan as well. Once we arrived they were able to get her in the operating room almost immediately. Mini literally went from being on her death bed to making a full recovery in a few weeks, energetic and back on her long walks around the city!Note that this is an urgent care facility that provides emergency services so there is no overnight stays for pets here. Also all follow up visits and medications were included in the total amount of the bill.Thank you to the diligence staff for saving my dog’s life!

What an experience. I brought my dog in who was distressed, pacing back and forth etc. I explained that she was very uneasy and I was bringing her in as an emergency. After a brief evaluation they told me she could wait as it wasn’t an emergency. I waited 2 hours and after asking for another update I finally was seen. The vet told me that it seems she had Edema and would take X-rays to confirm. She came back and confirmed it. She was so calm about it with no sense of urgency in her tone or words to the point that when she suggested I take her to a 24 clinic because it was night time and apparently they don’t handle this type of care I asked if it could wait until the next day. She said she wouldn’t wait until then, suggested I go home to pick up some of her paperwork then go. She told me she’d send me the results via email. Didn’t even bother explaining the severity of the situation. Long story short my dog nearly died on the way to AMC with how sick she was. They immediately admitted her into intensive care. The vets were mind blown that no diuretics were given and apparently her gums were blue and the vet should’ve noticed that. Her lungs were full of fluids, they told me they weren’t sure if she’d make it through the night. Insta Vet made me wait 2 hours and the dog they took before mine had a minor cut! Get vets who actually care! Take your pet elsewhere!

The nicest, most caring vet team. I fell outside as a passerby when I slipped on something on the street. One of the team members from instavet saw me, came out right away to help me — offered me water, patched me up, gave me disinfectants, and bandaids. Thank you thank you thank you for your kindness, my knee was pretty ripped up and bleeding. Would not have made it to work on time without their help. Thank you so much for caring for our pets and humans!

The care and compassion they showed us is more than we could have imagined. After a lot of googling, we finally decided to take our 2-month-old kitten, Tudo, here for his first check-up and vaccination, and as first-time parents, we were both (mainly me) nervous.Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the front desk, we did not wait very long, and the vet we saw was wonderful, cheerful, polite, and answered all our questions. Tudo felt so comfortable and at ease, that he didn't even mind the needle or getting his nails trimmed.Was not overly expensive at all and we felt the price was fair for the service and treatment received. My husband and I left feeling so grateful and very happy for the baby after the treats the vet gave him.Thank you to the staff for making our first vet trip such a positive one. Words cannot describe how thankful we are for everyone involved in.

I’ve taken my senior dog here for urgent care on several occasions. Booking online was incredibly easy. The staff was very communicative every step of the way - from calling to verify the appointment and collect background info, to explaining everything that they are doing, to follow-up calls.Everyone there is very compassionate and clearly cares about the well-being of their patients. They are incredibly professional, explain things to ensure that we a know exactly what they need to do and make recommendations for things that we should keep an eye on.On top of that, it’s very reasonably priced. They give you a cost breakdown of all services and meds and they don’t try and upsell you on any unnecessary services.I will keep bringing my dog back there when needed, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

My vet Dr. Oz Mascovich has relocated here along with Nina. I of course would follow them anywhere for the well-being’s of my dog and sphynx cat. I met Dr. Oz 4 years ago and he has so far performed 2 successful surgeries on my fur baby. I trust only him. This time around the whole staff at InstaVet was very helpful and inclusive. They explained everything to me. They kept me updated with my girls every move. I felt seen and in such great care. Thank you to everyone including the staff at the front desk for everything and I’m happy this is my go to place for pets needs. Thank you everyone at InstaVet. 🩷

I contacted instavet to euthanize my cat at home. Mostly everything went okay, but one of the women who did the euthanization seemed impatient and ready to leave. She informed me it would take about 15 minutes for the sedatives to kick in and constantly looked at her watch, her phone, and sighed loudly. On top of that, they shipped my cat's ashes and paw print back but the paw print looked rushed and as if they forced her dead paw into the mold with no care. I understand they do this everyday but a little more compassion would've been nice. I'm giving three stars and not one because the man who collected my cat and did her cremation was so kind and courteous to me. I honestly appreciated him.

Cannot rate this place highly enough! Response times are so immediate, that I don't think I can bring myself to take my labra anywhere else after seeing the staff here. My aunt's dog had hip surgery here and he was walking again after a couple of weeks. The continuous support from the staff here is remarkable and I've never felt like they are trying to nip money out of me as she have at other vets in NY. It's unfortunate but it happens. InstaVet Pet Surgery has the same level of care and love for your pet at an honest price. I'm really happy I did my research and found them!I will be recommending this vet to everyone I know!

Excellent service, compassionate and emergency care. Call ahead.They treated our boy so so well, professional and yet personal! We will never take our babies to another vet n they are open when others are closed.All I can say InstaVet are Caring, Attentive and Economical plus point is On-site parking also available.5* service 🐕‍🦺

I couldn't think of a better vet. Friendly staff, promising facilities, and location, long opening hours, usually quick to give an appointment, competent vets, and on top of that very reasonably priced. I can advise 100% Instavet Hospital to anyone that has pets. I have 3 dogs, 2 Dane and 1 Cane and they have constantly received the best treatment and attention. All the staff of this clinic has done an amazing job taking care of them from consultation to surgery (even with the dane who is not easygoing at all).With Daisy (the female Cane) we had an emergency last week and they took her in for a consultation and straight in for surgery today she is recovering well. All your help is much appreciated!

The best vets I've ever had. Compassionate and thorough I had a great experience here, they looked after our timid cat called jolly and made her so calm and gave us great advice and care. I 100% recommend it and will be back for checkups and the rest!

My 14yr old fell sick out of nowhere mid June & I rushed over here late one evening to see what was wrong. I just want to thank Dr. Klein who was consistently on top of helping my dog out, checking on updates as well as getting us seen with a specialist at Blue Pearl as my dogs health declined. I felt he treated my pet as if it was his own & it gained me more time with my dog. Even towards the end, Dr. Klein was there & I so very much appreciate all he did to help. So thankful, thank you!!

My Poodle Rudy went over the Rainbow Bridge today.. The Vets came to my home.. They were extremely kind..compassionate...and caring.. They Both made this very sad transition easier to bear.. I couldn’t find google map reviews for Instavet and was so worried when it was time to let my beloved dog cross rainbow bridge. Luckily Instavet was a lifesaver, Dr. Fisse was compassionate and the transition was easy. They helped us through a difficult process from start to finish and we didn’t have to leave the comforts of home. Thank you. Will also leave this review on prospect Park West location.

Went to call for a pet cremation, they say it's upfront cost and on their website they say it's $199 plus an urn for $49 but when I called they said the fee was $99 and that they could not honor what they wrote on their own website. They just want your money, and are willing to extort your grief for it.

Called @noon they gave me a 2 hour arrival window…3:30-5:30…Very kind & communicative both during phone consultation, pre arrival texts & during the procedure…They showed up right in the middle of the time slot & I could tell my little guy was finally ready to let go…it was great to do this in home…where his brother was able to be here & know what was going on…since the two of them Always had one body part touching the others…Super grateful…Highly recommend!

Do not come here, they advertise that they take walk-ins but in reality the vet who answered the phone was rude said they do not take walk-ins and was unable to help my puppy.

I didn't have an appointment, but they treated me and cured my dog of an ear infection. They were very kind, before doing anything to the dog, they told me what I had and how much it was going to cost me, and they were all very kind.
