The staff at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes did a wonderful job planning a funeral that honored my mother’s life. They were professional, efficient, and caring. Paula answered all our questions and has a warm, welcoming demeanor. They were very accommodating and organized my mother’s funeral around the Christmas holiday. They also communicated consistently with my family while preparing for the funeral and answered follow-up questions afterwards. I appreciated them reaching out to me several weeks after my mother passed to check in on how I was doing. I was very impressed with all the small details they covered -- the prayer cards, guest book, display of photos and most of all the remembrance video they made with the photos the family provided. Christopher Mitchell's is something you pass regularly in a small town, but never think you're going to need to utilize. However, when it was time to lay dad to rest the Mitchell's were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, patient and compassionate. They followed up before, during and after and let us be a little eccentric for the services!. It couldn't have been a better day to honor dad and we would recommend the Holley location to anyone.

Our experience from start to finish was exceptional. All of the Christopher Mitchell funeral home family and staff that we worked with was kind and compassionate every step of the way. They really made a tough situation and time seem stress free. We were encouraged to asl questions and really ensured we were comfortable and understood the process. They allowed us to really make the services and viweing room the way we wanted encouraging bringing items that represented our father for a memorial. They took the time to make a beautiful slideshow and memory/prayer cards even more personalised and perfect than what we expected. My sisters and I all received updates and checks in throughout the process and even after to just see how we were doing. A really stellar team that goes above and beyond. 10/10 would reccomend.

However, Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home and specifically Josh, have gone above and beyond for my family during a very difficult time. They were 1 of 3 funeral homes I contacted after my father passed and the instant we spoke to Josh, we felt at ease. My Dad passed on 5/14 and Josh has still been checking in to see if we need anything and to ask how we are. They were very respectful, did an amazing job on my father, considering how ill he was and just simply made the entire process as painless as possible. I will recommend them to anyone.

I can not say enough about the wonderful experience my sister and I had with Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home. I initially worked with Josh Mitchell, but his colleagues were just as easy to work with. Our pre-planned cremation for our mom was handled with the staff’s deep care, professionalism, and respect for our mom’s wishes. Calls were returned quickly. Josh was well prepared for every meeting. He took care of absolutely everything. My mom’s ashes were hand delivered to me with the greatest of compassion and Elizabeth checked up on me afterward to see if I was coping ok. From start to finish, there were no glitches or surprises. I would highly recommend their business. They know what they are doing and they do it so well.

Wow, what an experience with this family of compassionate, friendly, understanding and gracious people with my mom's funeral. No one wants to have to go through this but the Christopher Mitchell Family gave us immediate attention to everyone involved, constant assurance, thoughtfulness, patience, and the truly heartfelt empathy for our family. Our entire involvement from the start, sitting with my mom to plan her funeral with David, to the constant communication (calls /text/mailings to check on us or to give updated info), the kindness of Leah and Scott when picking up my mom after she passed, then working with Joshua, and being reassured that everything will be taken care of. Joshua and the entire team from Christopher Mitchell funeral home made a very difficult time for my family less stressful than I imagined possible. Paula, at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, made the worst time in our lives a memorable celebration of my father's life. She took all the stress of the big and little things and guided us through the process with compassion and experience. Paula went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. Our father's "send off" was tasteful and unique to him and our family. The support that was given during the process, as well as weeks and months after, was totally unexpected and very much appreciated and needed. I cannot recommend them more highly! My husband and I are now planning on doing the "preplanning" of our own funerals with them, so that we too will have a beautiful, well done funeral that will help eliminate much of the stress for our children when the time comes. I just want to start with saying that everyone here goes above and beyond and really makes you feel like family. They are so sweet and caring which is exactly what you need during the challenging and heart breaking time you need them. When I was speaking to them about my passed loved one they really seemed to care about him as well. They went out of their way to help me, comfort me and even check up on me even almost a month later. I highly highly recommend them. Josh was very helpful planning the calling hours, service and cemetery military honors for our beloved Dad (World War ll vet). We were overly impressed with Josh’s professionalism and empathy during this very difficult and stressful time during the pandemic. The additional items Josh assisted with are too numerous to list (i.e. facilitating the military plaque mounting to niche, coordinating link to down load family pics for calling hours, recommendations for service, urn selection, etc.). From the first meeting with Josh, to the last text message from Josh and Elizabeth checking in on my family and I, Josh helped us navigate through what was a very difficult experience with grace and ease. At a time we were most vulnerable, he empathetically and professionally managed everything from the overwhelming decision of the day’s agenda to the smallest of details in songs for the slide show. This emotional process was made easy and comfortable by his warm approach. I can’t thank him and the staff enough for helping celebrate my father’s life and supporting my family and I on this most important day.

Josh, at Christopher Mitchell Funeral home in Holley, is so compassionate, caring and understanding of what a family is going through when they lose a loved one. He helped all of us through a very sad time when we said good bye to my father. Josh listened to all of our requests and helped us to make the service very personal. He was able to accomplish everything we asked in a very short time. Paula, at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, made the worst time in our lives a memorable celebration of my father's life. She took all the stress of the big and little things and guided us through the process with compassion and experience. Paula went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for. Our father's "send off" was tasteful and unique to him and our family. The support that was given during the process, as well as weeks and months after, was totally unexpected and very much appreciated and needed. I cannot recommend them more highly! My husband and I are now planning on doing the "preplanning" of our own funerals with them, so that we too will have a beautiful, well done funeral that will help eliminate much of the stress for our children when the time comes. I just want to start with saying that everyone here goes above and beyond and really makes you feel like family. They are so sweet and caring which is exactly what you need during the challenging and heart breaking time you need them. When I was speaking to them about my passed loved one they really seemed to care about him as well. They went out of their way to help me, comfort me and even check up on me even almost a month later. I highly highly recommend them. They are the absolute sweetest people you will want to speak to during a time of loss. I can not recommend them enough. So if you're thinking of going through them for your funeral needs please do!! Josh was very helpful planning the calling hours, service and cemetery military honors for our beloved Dad (World War ll vet). We were overly impressed with Josh’s professionalism and empathy during this very difficult and stressful time during the pandemic. The additional items Josh assisted with are too numerous to list (i.e. facilitating the military plaque mounting to niche, coordinating link to down load family pics for calling hours, recommendations for service, urn selection, etc.).
