The people at Desert Haven were great, they knew exactly what animal would be good for us. They went above and beyond to make sure Prince will acclimate well at home. All their animals are happy and well cared for as well.

All of the animals' needs are cared for, beyond basics of food, water, and shelter. They are loved and coached through issues so that their adoptability chances are improved. Adopters are thoroughly vetted to ensure that these animals get the forever homes that they deserve. Would give them 10 stars if I could!

We adopted our girl Luna from this rescue a few months ago. The staff was quick to respond to our adoption application and during our meet and greet, everyone was very kind and made the adoption process smooth and easy. Everyone we met seemed to genuinely care about the animals in their rescue and clearly had their best interests at heart. We couldn't be happier with our new pup, she's been the perfect addition to our family.

Very nice animal rescue. The animals have their own little houses in the kennels with swimming pools too for the dogs. They even have their own play ground as well.. Went there to see about one dog and ended up adopting Lovey-Dovey, a Pittbull that had been there for at least 6 months. She is adorable & gets along well with my other 3 little dogs. If anyone is looking for a well manored pet to rescue Desert Haven is definitely the place to go. Great people to work with, they are amazing.

If you have a child that is under 4 years old there is a very strong chance you will be denied for adoption. That should be advertised a bit more explicitly.Also, if you are active duty military, assumptions about your caretaking abilities will be made by the panel/ adoption committee based on statistics and not the willingness of a family looking to adopt and care fora potentially new member of their family.Do not recommend if you are applying for adoption and you fall under these criteria.
