Everyone was so helpful and compassionate-they thoughtfully guiding me while I had the task of making final arrangements for my sisters service and burial. Old Bridge Funeral Home is a place of comfort, understanding and love. All of the things needed when I loss my dad and now my mom. Everyone here is special. It takes special people to help those who is going through or has gone through a loss that makes one still. With the loss of my dad, in 2010, David helped my family through the process and the healing. Now, in 2023, Amanda another special person, like the other staff, is a treasure, compassionate, and truly knows what one is going through. This was my second time using Old Bridge Funeral Home. My mother in law passed away last year and my father last month. Both Services were 5 stars. Michael, Dan and Carolyn are wonderful people. They made a rough time for my family much easier. My father was well taken care of, he looked very peaceful like he was sleeping. Everything was perfect, just the way he would have wanted it. I could not have asked for nicer more compassionate people. The wake, the funeral and the care that was taken could not have been any better. I really appreciate everything they did. It means a lot to me and my family. I still have relatives contacting me and telling me how nice everything was. I would Highly recommend the staff and Old Bridge funeral home.

I recently lost my brother, and had the difficult task of putting him to rest. From the first time I spoke with Daniel over the phone, I knew I was in good hands. Daniel remained both helpful and compassionate throughout this process. He patiently answered all my family's questions, and I felt that the fees were very reasonable for all that they provided. I also truly appreciate the way that Daniel and Amanda honored my brother's memory by including a montage of personal photos, playing his favorite music, and even displaying his favorite team, during services. My brother's memorial was the hardest thing I've had to arrange. I will always appreciate the staff at OBFH. David Hernandez was always patient and always took my calls. Amanda, bless her. She was so patient in working with me and all the changes I kept making. She accommodated my needs and provided great advice. Antoinio also made it possible for there to be closure for my brother. He took care of arranging a final important viewing before cremation. Oceanside Memorial Home/Old Bridge Funeral Home was very easy to work with. When planning the funeral, Morgan gave us choices and made a painful experience easy to navigate. She made suggestions that helped us plan what we wanted. Amanda also helped with all the extra details that made the service special and provided help and guidance when we needed it. Morgan and Jeff (I think) made two videos that everyone watched and remembered the events in the pictures and most saw themselves in the slides. Also, the large picture was a nice extra that everyone commented on as being just right.

When Daniel and Amanda came to take my beloved Frank the care and tenderness they showed to him and to me and my family was wonderful.Meeting with David to go over the various aspects of the upcoming service was an example of the best of Christian service. Everything I asked to be done for my beloved Frank was done.He had been so sick and had lost so much weight, I never thought he would look like himself. Dear Gary, Michael and team,From the moment we walked into the Old Bridge Funeral Home, we were greeted with open arms that offered us the support and care that we so desperately needed. Not only were the facilities modern and in wonderful shape, we sincerely appreciated the options to help ensure that we had a tailored experience.Not only that, but the team here accommodated every single one of our needs. During the viewings, we were able to care for our guests who traveled from afar with snacks and refreshments in a separate room. On top of everything, we were able to setup a separate time for our fur baby to bid his mother adieu. It was such an emotional time watching him gain closure.My wife transitioned at such a young age and, frankly, we are still in shock and disbelief. One of the brighter spots during this life-altering event is the support from our family and friends.I'd like to consider the team at Old Bridge Funeral Home part of our extended family and friends. Dave, I have never met someone as insensitive, heartless and unprofessional as I did that man! What a piece of TRASH. I would not recommend burying someone that you care about at this establishment. This man is a cold human being, with a POOR sense of humor. (If we don't pay our bill we may receive dog ashes instead of our loved ones). Can you imagine hearing the funeral director say those words to you?! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere to bury you'r loved one.YOU'RE WELCOME!!

My father passed away unexpectedly about 3 weeks ago. While we were shell shocked, we went to Old Bridge Funeral Home. Carolyn was an angel that helped us almost immediately, and her expertise was amazing. Dan was able to come from a sister funeral home the same day, so that we didn't have to wait very long. We had a lot of different Chinese customs that we needed to do, and they were so accommodating to our every want and need. The playlist they put together for the viewing was exactly what our father loved. Everything was super easy and well taken care of. Thank you so much for helping us in our time of need.

Often we read, if I could give zero stars I would, but in this case, if I could give 100 stars I would. Carolyn, Jeff and the entire staff at the Old Bridge Funeral Home went above and beyond for our family and honored my father in a way that exceeded my expectations beyond what I could have ever imagined. Everything my father stood for in his life was reflected in someway or another and they did not miss a single detail. If your loved one was a veteran, I can not stress enough how this place should be your only choice as the details that went into honoring him as a veteran, and for a man who was so proud of his country, the display they have, truly almost brought me to my knees. They did me a favor so sizable and so meaningful that it was truly something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. They were so kind, so helpful, and so detail oriented. Overall, I would highly recommend the Old Bridge Funeral Home to anyone.

After the unexpected and devastating loss of my dad on 7/20/20, we had no idea what to do or where to turn. My brother, my mom and I were at a loss. We called Old Bridge Funeral Home and they took care of absolutely everything. They helped us set up a beautiful service, they answered all of our questions and even made my mom an amazing collage photo of my dad and his favorite things. They also helped us set up and record a life video telecast for our out of state family to see the service. Carolyn was absolutely amazing and has continued to be, even months after, helping us with everything we need. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate circumstance of needing their services, Old Bridge Funeral Home is the best. We were able to choose the theme/feel of the services and choose the type of music my father would have wanted. As far as the business transactions, it was very straight forward, and explained well. I can't really comment on the price because you don't really have the luxury of "shopping around" for these types of things. I would recommend the funeral home.

There are moments in our life where the unbearable happens and the last thing anyone wants to do is make final arrangements for a loved one. I always try my best to do things right and after comparing 2 local facilities it was very clear that OBFH was the place that fit my needs perfectly.I found the technology capabilities with displaying pictures, videos and a large format projector absolutely amazing. It meant the world to me to have a soothing ocean sound and beach backdrop make our guests feel at ease and gave my dad the kind of send off that would make him happy.The team of people that David has were extremely professional and capable of getting things done. Oceanside Memorial Home/Old Bridge Funeral Home was very easy to work with. When planning the funeral, Morgan gave us choices and made a painful experience easy to navigate. She made suggestions that helped us plan what we wanted. Amanda also helped with all the extra details that made the service special and provided help and guidance when we needed it. Morgan and Jeff (I think) made two videos that everyone watched and remembered the events in the pictures and most saw themselves in the slides. Also, the large picture was a nice extra that everyone commented on as being just right.

My father passed away unexpectedly about 3 weeks ago. While we were shell shocked, we went to Old Bridge Funeral Home. Carolyn was an angel that helped us almost immediately, and her expertise was amazing. Dan was able to come from a sister funeral home the same day, so that we didn't have to wait very long. We had a lot of different Chinese customs that we needed to do, and they were so accommodating to our every want and need. The playlist they put together for the viewing was exactly what our father loved. Everything was super easy and well taken care of. Thank you so much for helping us in our time of need.

Carolyn, Jeff and the entire staff at the Old Bridge Funeral Home went above and beyond for our family and honored my father in a way that exceeded my expectations beyond what I could have ever imagined. Everything my father stood for in his life was reflected in someway or another and they did not miss a single detail. If your loved one was a veteran, I can not stress enough how this place should be your only choice as the details that went into honoring him as a veteran, and for a man who was so proud of his country, the display they have, truly almost brought me to my knees. They did me a favor so sizable and so meaningful that it was truly something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. They were so kind, so helpful, and so detail oriented. My family could not have been more pleased or more thankful for the guidance and service we received from David and his excellent team at Old Bridge Funeral Home. We were completely surprised by the passing of my wife and did not really know where to turn to find out how to best honor her.We called two other funeral homes first that were more familiar to us in the community and were turned off that they seemed to have very little interest in what my wife's wishes were and wanted us to conform to their "usual" ways of doing things. When we called OB FH and the phone was answered by Matthew we knew we had found the right place. From the very beginning their only genuine interest was on helping us through the grieving process. They did all of the listening where as the other places did all of the talking.We could not be more pleased with the end result. The entire memorial service was a wonderful celebration of Erica. They handled every aspect that we wanted to outsource to them. Over 350 people attended and commented how beautiful the service was and how it made it easier to say goodbye to my wife. Their team even personally handled guiding 125 people to the lunch following the service at a restaurant over a half hour away. My wife would have been very touched by the entire day and it could not have been accompished without Old Bridge Funeral Home. Thank you.

I would never recommend Old Bridge Funeral Home. My family was treated terrible. It started when our father passed away over the weekend. When we called they said to come in at 9 am Monday. We came in 9 am Monday and in the office very loud we hear - “There appointment is at 10am they are early”.Really ?? I made a point to say to Katrina (one of the Director) who came out and meet us that we spoke with Morgan and she said ok. Katrina as a Director needs training not only was she cold and no compassion but talked over us when we tried to speak. Also Katrina wrote the obituary for our Dad THREE TIMES WRONG. We had to call the office FOUR times before anyone returned our call with updates. Finally we spoke to another director and Manager Michael Grandi and expressed how upset and unsatisfied with the mistakes Katrina made, and in his breath he goes on saying how there funeral home is rated #2 throughout NJ. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! A loved one does not want to hear that after all the mistakes they made. How about trying to make things right ! I hope and pray no other family does not endure what our family has gone through. Not a day will go by when we think about our Dads passing how Old Bridge Funeral Home added on more stress, anger and tears.

My father passed away on February 28th and I thought Old Bridge Funeral Home had a good reputation. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. Specifically:1. My sister-in-law had call the funeral home 4 times to make corrections to the obituary. My sons names are still not spelled correctly. How many times does it take to spell Dominick correctly?2. We have not received the death certificates as of yet and we were told they were lost. Seriously? How could a funeral home loose the only legal record of my father's passing?

After the unexpected and devastating loss of my dad on 7/20/20, we had no idea what to do or where to turn. My brother, my mom and I were at a loss. We called Old Bridge Funeral Home and they took care of absolutely everything. They helped us set up a beautiful service, they answered all of our questions and even made my mom an amazing collage photo of my dad and his favorite things. They also helped us set up and record a life video telecast for our out of state family to see the service. I would never recommend this company. It started when my brother called about his wife who just passed away at the hospital early Saturday morning and was told that they were busy and that they had to wait 48 hours due to COVID-19, which he learned later was untrue . When my brother his two children Sister-in-law and husband Arrived on Monday at the mortuary, Dan who sat down and asked him what he would like to order as if ordering at a fast food establishment. He was rude, Uncaring, And very uncompassionate! They were signs posted everywhere to please wear a mask and keep 6 feet at a distance. Dan was not wearing a mask my brother asked him about wearing his mask because my sister-in-law just passed away from COVID-19. His response was, I had Covid and feel like I don’t have to wear one. This feels like a slap In the faceTo my family. My brother spoke to the director David who stated, he would look into this matter. My brother never got a return call and now it has been four weeks.

I had my son removed to Lester's in Jamesburg because I just didn't feel comfortable due to prior dealings with them. We were charged $500 anyway. I don't care about the money, but I was told that someone from OBFH actually made comments about my sons appearance. That is everyone's nightmare. My daughter passed away 12/19/19. The clothes she passed away in were not returned to me. I have been asking what happened to her items for a long time and I just got an email today which happens to be her birthday that the funeral home asked my x husband if he wanted her belongings and were told no But DID NOT ASK ME She was 24 years old and was wearing items that I bought her when I saw her last. Also, my daughter was slim and at her viewing she looked huge. They had her body all wrapped in I don't know what (ice packs?) She looked terrible. When my grandmother passed she was held for 4 days and she was not wrapped up like that (obviously we had a different funeral home in Manalapan) I was out of the country when she passed and traveled for 2 days and begged see my daughter and Was told I could see her the next day and then was told no. I was literally tortured.

I made a point to say to Katrina (one of the Director) who came out and meet us that we spoke with Morgan and she said ok. Katrina as a Director needs training not only was she cold and no compassion but talked over us when we tried to speak. Also Katrina wrote the obituary for our Dad THREE TIMES WRONG. We had to call the office FOUR times before anyone returned our call with updates. Finally we spoke to another director and Manager Michael Grandi and expressed how upset and unsatisfied with the mistakes Katrina made, and in his breath he goes on saying how there funeral home is rated #2 throughout NJ. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! A loved one does not want to hear that after all the mistakes they made. How about trying to make things right ! I hope and pray no other family does not endure what our family has gone through. Not a day will go by when we think about our Dads passing how Old Bridge Funeral Home added on more stress, anger and tears.

My father passed away on February 28th and I thought Old Bridge Funeral Home had a good reputation. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. Specifically:1. My sister-in-law had call the funeral home 4 times to make corrections to the obituary. My sons names are still not spelled correctly. How many times does it take to spell Dominick correctly?2. We have not received the death certificates as of yet and we were told they were lost. Seriously? How could a funeral home loose the only legal record of my father's passing?

I would never recommend this company. It started when my brother called about his wife who just passed away at the hospital early Saturday morning and was told that they were busy and that they had to wait 48 hours due to COVID-19, which he learned later was untrue . When my brother his two children Sister-in-law and husband Arrived on Monday at the mortuary, Dan who sat down and asked him what he would like to order as if ordering at a fast food establishment. He was rude, Uncaring, And very uncompassionate! They were signs posted everywhere to please wear a mask and keep 6 feet at a distance. Dan was not wearing a mask my brother asked him about wearing his mask because my sister-in-law just passed away from COVID-19. His response was, I had Covid and feel like I don’t have to wear one. This feels like a slap In the faceTo my family. My brother spoke to the director David who stated, he would look into this matter. My brother never got a return call and now it has been four weeks.

I had my son removed to Lester's in Jamesburg because I just didn't feel comfortable due to prior dealings with them. We were charged $500 anyway. I don't care about the money, but I was told that someone from OBFH actually made comments about my sons appearance. That is everyone's nightmare. How do they treat your loved one when no one is looking

My daughter passed away 12/19/19. The clothes she passed away in were not returned to me. I have been asking what happened to her items for a long time and I just got an email today which happens to be her birthday that the funeral home asked my x husband if he wanted her belongings and were told no But DID NOT ASK ME She was 24 years old and was wearing items that I bought her when I saw her last. Also, my daughter was slim and at her viewing she looked huge. They had her body all wrapped in I don't know what (ice packs?) She looked terrible. When my grandmother passed she was held for 4 days and she was not wrapped up like that (obviously we had a different funeral home in Manalapan) I was out of the country when she passed and traveled for 2 days and begged see my daughter and Was told I could see her the next day and then was told no. I was literally tortured.

I would never recommend this company. When they go out and send spam mail to your home! Disgusting what they are doing trying to get people through the door before they are dead to pre-arrange there funerals! We totally understand people do that and our family has done that but to send stuff to our home is unacceptable! Trying to get more business do it some other way not mailing flyers to our home!
