Our Family would like to thank Aree Booker and his wonderful family at Eternity Funeral Services for the professional and compassionate services during a very difficult time of our lives. A special thank you to Mr. Booker for his extraordinary patience in assisting my family through the life insurance process that took an extenuated amount of time to process. His patience and kindness provided us with the support and strength we needed. The transition of my husband of 40 years and wonderful father of three sons was made healing by the caring, personal touch of Eternity Funeral Services. My husband’s Home Coming Celebration in a rain storm was beautiful and memorable with the utmost professionalism and attention to every detail. My family will be forever grateful. My family and I chose Eternity Funeral Services to bury my father and I would like to say it is the best decision we made. My father passed in the home and Eternity came and picked up the body with care and professionalism. Throughout the process, they showed great empathy, compassion and patience. We did have life insurance however they was an issue with contacting the funding department. The owner, Aree Booker spent over 4 hours with my family showing great patience until the issue was resolved. The funeral went off perfectly. The staff was all dressed in matching tuxedos, the body prep work was great and in the end there was nothing more we could ask for in our time of need.

I would HIGHLY recommend Eternit Funeral Service to anyone and everyone. My family was treated with compassion, professionalism and I cannot say enough about the staff. Eternity Funeral Services LLC was truly amazing. I can't recommend them enough for anyone who has to plan a funeral. Gloria Booker was so kind and accommodating, as she held my hand throughout the entire process treating me like family. Carol aka Ms. Carol was the most caring and easy going person to work with. I know I got on her nerves calling her everyday, but she was so pleasant and addressed all my questions and concerns. I was truly blessed to have them plan my husband's funeral. My husband looked so good, and I know he would have been proud. He looked like an angel that day. Thank you to Eternity. I will be forever grateful.

Eternity Funeral Services, located at 725 E Gun Hill Rd, Bronx, NY 10467, was a godsend. After the emotional rollercoaster of watching a loved one's health diminish, the last thing anyone wants to take on is the daunting task of putting them to rest. Eternity Funeral Services made this process manageable. The job they did preparing my mother for her viewing was impeccable. Normally, when I've seen others' loved-ones prepared for viewing, they didn't look like the people I knew in the living. Eternity Funeral Services did such a spectacular job, my dearly departed mother only appeared to be peacefully sleeping while we mourned and remembered her life. The mother I love and adore looked like herself because of the delicate job Eternity performed, paying close attention to detail. I recommend them without reservation; one can only hope to have an establishment like this in your corner when life events take place. They also were professional and tactful when executing the services of transportation and reception of my mother to the church, as well as her final resting place. Thank you Eternity Funeral Services--my family and I are eternally grateful 🙏.

I don’t know where to begin…Eternity Funeral Home is truly the best. It was my first time taking care of funeral service for my family, sad to say it was for my beloved father. I cannot thank Mr. Aree Booker who helped and guided me to take care of my dad’s funeral service. My parents doesn’t have money and if Mr. Booker didn’t mentioned about how Medicaid can help me lay my dad to rest, I would have been so stressed thinking about his funeral service. Both Mr. Aree and Mrs. Gloria Booker had been very patient and thorough about explaining how the process goes. They truly care for the person who is about to lose and eventually lost their loved one. They truly respect your departed one and your family’s wishes making sure they will do their best to fulfill and accommodate you. The Booker’s are genuine and they are truly there to help you and make the process a little bit easy on you. Thank you so much Gloria and Aree Booker. I will always be thankful and grateful to you. Eternity Funeral Services, Englewood NJ, is awesome. My family was blessed to have Eternity FS, plan our family member’s funeral. Mr and Mrs Booker, and staff are professional, compassionate and caring. Prior to my mother’s passing on February 18, 2022, my niece contacted Mrs Booker, to discuss funeral arrangements. Mrs Booker explained, and guided my sister, and I through the entire process. When my mother passed at the nursing home, my sister was allowed to be with our mother, when she was being picked up for transfer. My sister states, our mother was treated with respect and dignity by Eternity staff. Everything was done to our satisfaction. Thank you Mr and Mrs Booker, and staff.

Planning funeral services for a loved one isn't something that anyone looks forward to, particularly when you are representing out of town relatives. When my younger sister died suddenly I was unable to move forward. The only input from my family was, please don't take her to the funeral home that did my Mom's service. I told one of my church sisters about our concerns and she recommended Eternity. From the moment my youngest sister and I walked in, we were put at ease. Br. Booker made the planning not only easy, but, strange as it sounds, pleasant. His affect was professional yet comforting. He offered so many options and gently nugged us when we were stuck. We were so pleased after that first meeting that we actually stayed to explore the funeral home. The atmosphere was Wonderful...a funeral home. When we returned we met Mrs. Booker. Gloria Booker is a Super Woman. She is an artist. Mrs. Booker took pictures, that were sent via multiple platforms and created the most artistic program that many had ever seen. People are still talking about my Dear Sister's program. So much of what I submitted was not done in a timely manner yet Mrs. Booker was always calm and willing to do whatever necessary to make it work. The little touches that the Bookers added took everything to another level. While funerals are definitely a business, Eternity never made us feel that we were Just business. The whole staff was Fantastic. From the way my sister looked, Absolutely Beautiful, to the way everything was handled; all that I can say is, Eternity Funeral deserves to be Hailed as the Best. Combine all else with their lower than average cost and Know that we were Blessed. My family and I are So Appreciative of All that the Bookers did for us.

Eternity Funeral home held my dad's funeral 8/25. They did a great job with arranging the service & the casket.The wake & service itself was set up nicely & they worked with us, definitely a very nice & caring staff.There were a couple of problems the day of the funeral unfortunately. The limo that they sent to pick us up was extremely late so we had to drive ourselves. They claimed an accident backed them up. They did refund us and offered a free ride home which was nice.My biggest problem was with the person in charge of the zoom. The funeral was in person and on zoom due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, the person in charge of the zoom did not do a good job which was a big deal to my family who could not be there. The person running the zoom kept changing the "host" to the person speaking on the zoom. SO if that person speaking had a poor connection the zoom would stop working. The solution to this is simply, do not change the host! Just pin the speaker on the screen and unmute them. I told him this when my uncle was speaking and the zoom literally stopped 5 or more times, after I told him this he continued to make my uncle the "host" and the zoom went out again. He literally said to me "I thought his connection would hold so I made him the host again" and this was after I told him not to do that and he told me himself that my uncle had a poor connection. My family on the zoom said the zoom was out for about 20 minutes of the 90 minutes service, it was choppy, on and off & sometimes they could not hear. When the guy working the zoom finally stopped changing who the "host" was, the zoom worked perfectly fine.This same person in charge of the zoom was also not paying attention. We had people on the zoom who planned to speak. Their names were written down in order. When it was the first persons turn to speak on zoom, this is when the tech guy decided to stand up and START connecting the zoom to the TV so we could see who was speaking. He just did not pay attention at all. If you want your zoom funeral to run smoothly (which I'm sure you would) then you may need to avoid coming here. They really FAILED at a very important part of the funeral.What else was very frustrating was that I had to go over to the tech person and try to figure out what was going on for about 25 minutes of my dad's funeral. So I could not even be focused on enjoying his home going celebration.Besides this they did a great job, but the errors on their end makes it hard for me to give them more than 3 stars.

My mother died in June 2019 . I had no idea about funeral arrangement plus shipping the body to another country. I met with director of Etenity funeral home prior to her passing for the pre arrangement. He talked me through everything but I could not register anything because I was in an anticipatory bereavement state of mind. When my mother passed I notified Eternity Funeral home. The staff arrived at the nursing home almost the same I did, 1 AM.The workers were so alert that I felt that they are always ready for that call any time of the day. They were well dressed, looked good, smell.good and very pleasant to everyone including the wonderful staff at Care one at Cresskill. They handled my mom's body with such dignity and respect that for a moment I forgot that I was mourning. The pleasantries and patience continued throughout the day of the viewing. They did such an extremely great job for the occasion that everyone was amazed. The staff, may God bless their kind hearts. Their professionalism and customers relationship were never witnessed anywhere else. These opinions were expressed numerous times by friends and relatives. It was an atmosphere of celebration instead if mourning. I cried because I realized that we have chosen the right place , Eternity Funeral Home, in Englewood NJ. When your love one passes on, it can be a very taxing experience. However, Eternity Funeral Services was above and beyond our expectations from beginning to the end. Everyone was extremely nice and genuine. They are not like the typical funeral services that are out there. You have to check them out for yourself, even if it''s planning your future. You don't feel roobbed or violated. They work with you with love and patience. Inaddition, so much to offer, unbelievable!!! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a peace of mind. When my mother died I had no idea what to do, i was scared as well, and the Eternity Funeral family stepped in, they were so patient and understood that I was alone in the planning of my mother's funeral.My mother had the best funeral and casket omg they are amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. Amazing staff and amazing people. They made the Funeral and Burial arrangements smooth. Considering being in the middle of a pandemic and everything needed to be done quicker than normal.Very professional. The service was what I expected however they stole our flowers. When I asked about them being delivered they looked around the office as if they would appear. I contacted the flower shop who verified the time the flowers were dropped off, and asked the staff if they had any deliveries that morning. They said no, I then asked if they had another service that day to which I was told yes. I find it hard to believe that the day of ANY services there was NO DELIVERY. I was told to call the flower shop to confirm if they had the right place. After explaining that had already been done and supplied a time and description of the person they just looked at me. I asked them was it possible that they mistakenly given our two arrangements away to the prior service the lady said there was nothing they could do. The gentleman said he would call the shop and the other staff memeber (a woman) said for what the flowers aren't here. You would think they would be more sympathetic given the situation rather then the we don't know what your talking about attitude. They never apologized and did noting to help. In total we lost $600 in flowers. If you plan on having services here bring your flowers with you or plan on being there during delivery so that your lost love one could have flowers for their services.
