We miss our beloved Millie tremendously. She was the best pet we ever had. She lived a rich full life of approx 20yrs! We took her to Apple Country Animal Hospital for years and we really loved the treatment there. When they put her down we ordered her ashes which came weeks later. We had no idea the amount of care that you all took in preparation for our pets. To top it off her ashes were carefully placed inside a gorgeous box with a care card. My wife and I also mentioned weeks before her ashes came that we should have captured her paw print. Which you all covered that as well. Can’t say how much we appreciate the loving care you all took with our beloved Millie - 🙏🏻

Today our beloved dog passed. We called Greener Pastures to have our special girl cremated. We called once at about 11:30. No one called back, to set something up. We called again a few hours later. Again no call back. We wanted our dog cremated. No call back to tell us what to do, nothing. So, we had to bury her on our farm. Which upsets me. Why did no one get back to us? I know they must be busy. We had a cat cremated with them in the past. I wanted to use them again. Very upset we couldn’t.

Our dog died two weeks ago on 6/10, suddenly. After calling a couple vet offices, we decided to call Erin and David from Greener Pastures. They met us about a half hour away, the same day our dog died, to pick up his body. They were great. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.It can't be easy handling grieving folks pets but they did it. They answered us back in a timely manner and treated our babyboy like he was one of their own.I didn't know we would get a complimentary paw print but we got two!Thank you so much.

When my cat, Gracie, died we went through them and they did a phenomenal job. So when our other cat, Kitty, just recently passed, we went through them again. They literally just took her and cremated her before we sent any of our requests in (paw prints, impressions, fur clippings, etc). Now I have NOTHING from my baby all because they screwed up. Yes this is an impulsive, angry review. There's no excuse for just taking an animal and turning it into nothing without any sense of identification or personalization from its family. Im heartbroken that I'll never see anything of her ever again, and I hope they feel as horrible as I do.

In August our 15 year old dachshund died. He had been a part of our family since just after my wife and I were married. His loss was sudden and, as you can imagine, very hard on our entire family. Erin and Ed and the entire team at Greener Pastures were truly remarkable. From the moment we contacted them until his remains were returned to us, their compassion and devotion to their work was evident. Their communication was professional and patient and deeply considerate of our heartbreak. The loss of a beloved pet is always incredibly difficult, but the kindness and empathy of Erin and her staff helped provide a great deal of comfort to our entire family.

Erin and Ed were so amazing during one of the most hardest moments of my life. I am so thankful that I found Greener Pastures and their kindness. I was worried about what to do with my cockatiel who was almost 30 years old that passed away on a Sunday. Erin and Ed amazingly came and picked up Jenkins that very same night. Ed stood out in the cold and patiently explained the entire process and waited for me to decide what I wanted to do. It only took a few days for them to deliver his ashes to my house. Erin was so nice over email and over the phone. They really care about what they do and the pets and people they serve. Thank you so much.

I am so grateful to these people (and their sister company Comfort Road)! It was a blessing to have my beloved dog Benny's final moments be with us at home. They took care of everything, and delivered his ashes back to us (and a clay mold of his paw which we will cherish forever!) about a week later. So peaceful. Really made the best of a heartbreaking situation. Highly recommend.

We would like to thank Greener Pastures for their exceptional professionalism and attention to detail. Our hearts were absolutely crushed when our adored Jewels passed away, but Ed and Erin handled our delicate situation with nothing but respect and empathy. We don’t have pets in our home, we have “fur children” and there is NO ONE that we trust more with our fur children’s perpetual aftercare than the staff at Greener Pastures.Sincerely, Skip and Chris Rice

We scheduled to pick up our cats remains on Tuesday at 1pm. We had talked to a very kind woman the Friday before to schedule said time and date. She told us to call before leaving to be sure that someone would be there to essentially greet us. We also paid over the phone. When my fiance called on Tuesday a guy answered and told us the person at the shop got bored and left early for the day so we couldn't go. We told him about our appointment, and he attempted to call us liars and claim we didn't have one. He also claimed to have talked to my fiance the day before which was a lie, and he even looked at his call history which caught his lie. He had zero compassion for the situation, kept "growling" at me over the phone, and was very rude and talked over me. I was extremely upset and angry and repeatedly demanded our cat back. He literally told us that he had plans and didn't want to make the 45 minute drive to meet us there. He also attempted to say that their hours aren't set in stone, regardless of our appointment. He basically blamed us for everything, and told us if we had come in the morning we would have been fine, which we then reminded him of the appointment. He finally got in contact with the guy that was supposed to be there who agreed to meet us at 3. Not even 5 minutes later he calls back, begins yelling at me and telling me that we aren't to set foot at the company, that I am a nut case, that I am to never speak with him again, and that the only way to get our cat's remains were through the mail (which there's a strong chance they would be lost for good). After reluctantly giving our address and him attempting to continue insulting me I hung up. Immediately after we get a call from the woman we had spoken to who started profusely apologizing, saying it was all her fault and she had not communicated our appointment. She then hand delivered our cats remains to our home within two hours, apologizing the entire time.

I am so very grateful to Greener Pastures for their outstanding service and compassion during a very difficult time for my family and I. I was grieving, and then stressed not knowing what to do when my dog died over the weekend. They were willing to come that same day to pick up my dogs remains, and walked through options for cremation services with zero pressure. When Ed came to pick up my dog he was extremely professional, respectful, and showed a deep amount of compassion for our loss. I highly recommend them.

So thankful for your support. Our dog Astro was an amazing dog and will never be able to be replaced. The day he went to sleep was heart breaking and the thought of going back to where his life ended was going to be challenging. When I got the call that you could bring him to us as you would be going through our town on your way home was a beautiful gesture. Thank you so much for being so caring and kind! My dog passed suddenly from what was probably a blood clot. It happened just before everything got really serious about this pandemic. When everything started to shut down, I told myself to accept that we would never be able to bring her ashes home. I was able to get her today at my e-vet's office thanks to Greener Pastures. There is a delay on the urn that we wanted because the manufacturing facility is shut down but they made sure that I got her back and that's the really important thing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The loss of Max has been the hardest thing I 've ever dealt with and still is. Greener Pastures has provided the best possible service I ever could have imagined. The quality of Mac's "forever" box, the one with the picture on front, is the highest level of quality. Much more than we expected. Also, It was really important to me to have Max's pawprints saved in plaster since I also have them tattooed on me. I was so shook up, I had forgotten to include them while making his arrangements, but when we brought Max home, there they were! The only possible explanation for this is that Erin and Eddie are TRUE ANGLES. Kid you not. You can trust Greener Pastures, rest assure.If your reading this, it's likely you are also suffering a loss. I'm so so sorry. May you (we) find peace. Lori

you guys did amazing with my baby, the urn is beautiful. but this clay mold that i’ve received is my only complaint. why is it so pressed together? my dogs paws were never like this. i feel like this shouldn’t be sent to someone grieving at all because it just made me feel worse. luckily i got 2 others made from the vet, but i just wanted to post this so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Thank you so much Ed And Erin. I had a 12 year old boxer who unfortunately needed to be put to sleep. ( hardest time ever). Eddie picked up Niko asap. They made this tough time so much easier. They made everything so easy and they are so caring! Niko is now home for Christmas thank you Ed and Erin!! You guys are amazing! ❤

Never will you meet two kinder and more compassionate souls then Ed and Erin. They will do whatever they can to make a difficult time easier and have gone above and beyond numerous times. You can't go wrong trusting them to treat both you and your beloved pet with respect and care.

Our beloved furry son Robie passed away on December 6, 2021 and on the recommendation of Westford Veterinary we accepted this place. Now we have the ashes of our beloved Robie, and thanks to this place we can feel that in this way our Robie is with us. Thanks to The Greener Pastures family for words of comfort. A hug.

Open only 3hrs/ day, they refused to pick up pet, they don't know what the other person is doing, it appears that you must schedule any type of pickups atheist 3days in advance, forget about weekend, don't bother with this company

Just received a beautiful sentiment during a very difficult time, not only did we receive our beloved Rose in a beautiful bio-degradable urn but accompanying her ashes was a paw print set in clay with a very sweet prayer card. Thank you for making this time just a little bit sweeter

Was really hoping this place would work out to get my cat cremated after he passed. Emailed the owner and she got back to me right away and then i emailed her back 15min later and never heard anything back. Cremating a beloved pet isn't really something you can take your time on so i went else where.
