I would honestly give Cherished Pets 1,000 stars if I could. I am still completely blown away with the professionalism and compassion they have during terrible times. This was my husband and I’s first experience with pet loss and it was absolutely terrible. Cheddar was diagnosed with diabetes a little too late, we kept trying to regulate him when one day he refused to eat and drink. The day I turned to the vet begging for an option to help him, when the only one was to give him a “soft goodbye” (I learned that term from the grief counseling) completely broke our family to pieces.I called Cherished Pets as soon as I could calm down to learn the process, Angela guided me through it and reassured me that Cheddar would be taken care of with respect. Unfortunately the next day, Cheddar was put to rest well before we expected, making it where the appointment I had to view their location and make his arrangements beforehand was now his drop off time.Mind you when I called Angela (before they opened) she took my phone call and I’m sure had to move her morning routine around to help my family out. I cannot Thank her enough for everything she has done and the other lovely staff that greeted me when it was time to pick up his remains and keepsake, which turned out AMAZING. You all will have a special place in my heart, we fully trust you with the remaining pets we have when it comes there time to leave us. You guys are amazing.If you struggle with grief as bad as I do, please take full advantage of their grief counseling.

This place is such a blessing to have in our 417 community. I lost my beloved cat unexpectedly and from the first inquiry phone call to immediately driving straight there, everyone was so kind and compassionate. Debbie and Angela are angels on earth and I am thankful to have had their expertise and warm hearts to help me navigate through such a traumatic and very sad time. I chose a cremation and the process was timely and dignified and upon pick up they had a really nice room set up to present him back to me. I highly recommend this place if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of losing a fur-baby.

After my cat Big Cat of 12 years passed away Cherished Pets helped me through the toughest parts of the grieving process and you can tell they genuinely care. I was worried about him being handled with respect and receiving only his ashes. They were reassuring and made the process easier. The urn I received was perfect. If you’re like me and your pets are your family I highly recommend this company. Thank you Cherished Pets for what you’re doing for our beloved pets!

Super helpful, I was crushed when my chole crossed the rainbow bridge. They took care of everything for me. Debbie was amazing she knew just to say to help me. They spent time with me and let me cry and understood that even thou she was just a dog I loved her and how much I was going to her. I still miss her so much. They have tons of urns to choose from. What I recommend is everyone get a paw print of their baby. Before they cremate. I'm so glad I got one done. It's like the last thing I have from her on this earth. I a will always go back to them no matter what my vet says. My vet said they would take care of her. But PLEASE don't do that, if you love your fur baby u have to go here and have them help you. Thanks so much Debbie.

Finally we have a place to honor our pets when they pass away. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners of Cherished pets and tour their facility and can honestly say, this is something that has been needed for so long!Cherished Pets is the only place to consider when your pet passes. They are setting the new standard and I truly appreciate what they have done! Our pets deserve dignity just like our people, and now they can finally have it.

took my kitty there to be cremated. the staff is very nice, respectful, and very professional! the building itself is very peaceful and has a gorgeous prayer garden. i felt my pet and i were very respected and cared for by the staff. the keepsake urn i picked out is absolutely beautiful! they did an amazing job! highly recommend :)

Today, I visited Cherished Pets funeral Home and Crematory and was immediately welcomed by a serene atmosphere and beautifully designed space for pet funerals. The selection room for caskets and urns was elegantly decorated, making the process more comforting. The standout feature was the Zen garden, providing a peaceful place to reflect on the loss of a beloved pet. Their are many options to watch the cremation from a comfortable viewing room, to picking out various choices for engraving our pet's name or image on a keepsake box. I highly recommend this place for families, as pets truly are part of the family.

This place took great care of our beloved Big Cat. They take this very seriously and were very kind with us. We got to see our fur baby one last time before cremation. They delivered his ashes in a beautiful hardwood box with a plaque and a certificate. I am very grateful of this place!

Oh my goodness. This place is amazing. They are so knowledgeable and kind. They have a HUGE selection of Caskets, urns and keepsakes. I especially love the bronze kitty cat urn and the grow a plant option.It warms my heart to know that I am guaranteed to get my friend's remains back and not a mixture from a mass group.Thank you for bringing this service to Springfield and Southwest Missouri.

Ruth Ann, Richard and all of the staff at Cherished Pets are so kind, compassionate and professional. The facility is not only beautiful but welcoming as well. When the time comes and our furry or feathered friends cross the rainbow bridge, I highly recommend Cherished Pets to care for your cherished pet.

Words cannot express how difficult the loss of a pet was to our family. Our dog was a member of our family and knowing that she was taken care of eased some of the sadness and anguish we felt. Ruth Ann and her crew came to the home and picked up our pet with dignity and respect. The process, while heartbreaking was made easier by the staff being attentive to our needs and allowing us to witness the cremation. We were given our ashes that day and felt comfort in knowing that while our pet will not be running zoomies around the house any longer, she will always be a part of our home. Cherished pets staff made a day filled with sorrow and grief a littler brighter with their attentiveness and service. As a family, we are grateful.
