Heavens Gate in Columbia Missouri left me speechless! My Rocky passed away on a Sunday afternoon, I wasn't sure what I was going to do. We called around and a few hours later we were meeting Michelle half way! When I met her I knew in my heart and soul that I was leaving my Rocky in good hands! He was gone for little over a week . When I got the phone call that he was ready to come back home, I was there to pick him up! As well as the beautiful keepsakes she sent with him, I could not have been any happier. Thank you Michelle forr being there for Rocky And I you will forever hold a place in out hearts β₯οΈ

I can't say enough good things about Heavens Gate and its owner, Michelle. When I lost my beloved Tuna close to Christmas, after almost 15 years of companionship, I was a wreck. I called Michelle, and she was so incredibly compassionate and kind. She arranged to pick her up, told me exactly what to expect and the timeframe, and even delivered to my home when the cremation and paw prints were done.I enthusiastically endorse and recommend her work. Thank you Heavens Gate!

After trusting my senior dog to the doctors at MU Vetrinary Hospital for over two years, I felt comfortable accepting their referral to Heavens Gate Pet Cremation when the time finally came. I will regret that decision for the rest of my life. First, they take 4-6 weeks to return the ashes. This is over four times the industry standard. Second, from the distorted paw impression I purchased, it's clear that my pet was frozen at some point. Third, I specifically asked the owner (Michelle) to call me when he was ready to be picked up. I made it clear to her I did not want him to be mailed, and she said that was fine. You can imagine my surprise when I went to the mailbox and found his ashes crammed into a standard postage parcel (shipped from and entirely different city). Not even a call saying he was on his way (against my wishes). After talking with some of the (many) other dissatisfied customers, I discovered the owner has several other businesses she's juggling, including a medical waste disposal company (which I assume uses the same incinerator our pets are cremated in) In my opinion, this company is not able to give your beloved pet the respect they need and should be avoided at all costs. I am currently in contact with MU Vetrinary Hospital in an effort to stop future referrals to this company.
