Customer Reviews Summary
Best Friends Pet Cremation Services is highly praised for their compassionate and professional care during a difficult time of pet loss. Many customers appreciate the thoughtful gestures, such as paw prints and personalized urns, which help in the grieving process. However, some reviews express concerns about delays in the return of ashes and changes in pricing policies that have made services less affordable.

They took very good care of my girl. The presentation of her urn, card and paw print arrived in a very high quality embossed gift bag. It was a small gesture but I appreciated it very much.

They let me see my baby one last time before he was cremated. When we received him from MSU he was already sealed up in the cremation container. Their kindness meant a lot to me and I give them high regards and recommendations

Over the years I have had my pets cremated through my vet. Never had an issue until now. My beloved collie was given to pet angels for care and much to my surprise cremation was not done until they collected payment. This was a new policy according to the company. I provided payment and now 2 weeks later, still no remains. They forgot to take her off hold so she is still there, I suppose. They did apologize. This has been very unpleasant for me and I hope to never need their services again.

Gibson Sims offered pet cremation services to the Metro Jackson area as a public service & to fill a need, not as a money-making enterprise. When he moved from this area, he sold Best Friends to someone he thought would continue his mission. Unfortunately, Best Friends was again sold to a for-profit corporate chain. Cremation of our beloved pets is no longer affordable for the average person as the cost for cremation of a small cat has tripled!!! Mr. Sims would be sorely disappointed in this turn of events.
