I learned about this place when my dog passed away in 2015. Then I used their service for my parents for a couple other dogs, boxers. November 1, 2023, my ferret passed away. I immediately went here to do another cremation. The people here are very compassionate and very professional! They do amazing service! Just hopefully it’ll be a bit before I see them again. Not the kind of business you want to make frequent visits. Thank you all for taking care of my fur babies!

My little shitz-hu, Baby, passed away back in April of '23, at almost 16 years old, and the folks here at "A Pets' Memory" were extremely caring and gentle with her, completely professional and considerate, compassionate, and helpful during this time, and I haven't forgotten that, . . .On a sidebar, it was ironic, but, as I walked in the door with her, and as they took her to the back, I was out in their showroom in the front, and my eyes jumped straight to one of several statues they had on the floor, and the one I ultimately bought was the exact size, shape, and coloring of my dog, Baby. She sits in my living room, wearing her collar, sitting in her bed, bright eyes looking up at me, and under a shelf holding Baby's ashes, a tuft of her hair, and a poem that A Pets' Memory gave me, . . .

These people are angels on earth. I am bringing my 3rd baby home that they've oh so respectfully and sweetly memorialized for us. I have a friend that used to work there that said that every move they make is filled with love and respect. I can not say enough about this place. Thank you, y'all. Thank you.

So our 15 year old baby passed away Friday night and we took her Saturday morning to get her cremated. I’ve never done this before so I didn’t know what to expect and to put it mildly, I was a crying mess. I didn’t want my Milo buried and it was a hard decision to make. I called their office before they even officially opened and they still answered and gave me their condolences. Super sweet off the bat and I knew this was the place to take my furry family member. We got there and they greeted us with compassion and understanding. I bawled my eyes out in their private room with my husband by me telling my sweet doggy goodbye for the last time and they took her to the back. We had her paw print imprinted on clay to keep and it came out so cute and I’m glad we did that small, sentimental part. They got us done swiftly as we had traveled almost 2 hours to get there for which I’m so grateful. I hated the thought of not getting to take her home for a few days and they got her done in the same day. Her ashes are in a beautiful box and they had pages of poems and bible verses that reminded me that I’ll see my angel puppy again one day. I miss her so much and I’m very happy that these beautiful strangers treated her with the utmost respect and handled her like we would want a human relative handled. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank y’all so much and I will treasure all of it forever.

Linda & her staff have been cremating my beloved babies since 2014. She has now done 4 cremations for me and she's always been compassionate and sympathetic. I am grateful for her and her staff. While I hope that I don't see them for a long time, I'd highly recommend them and will definitely choose them over any other cremation place.

We suddenly lost our great Dane this morning. We were told to bring her here. I am so grateful and beyond thankful for the staff at A Pet's Memory. They were so kind, loving, and made this heartbreak so much easier to process. We know our girl is in good hands and will be peacefully put to rest. Thank you for all you do.

I have had my fair share of pets, but up until recently I never had a lap dog. Her name was Lily. She was a toy Shih Tzu, and she was the greatest thing ever! She lived a full happy life of 13 years. One of the best things that I have ever done, when Lily started getting sick, I went to pets memory and basically did a pre-arrangement. The staff and the owner answered all my questions and took the time to show me different urns until I found the one that I felt Lily deserved ! Several weeks later, I had Lily at the vets office because she was just barely hanging on, and she passed over that weekend. When I got the call, from the vets office, I could tell by the sound of the ladies voice that Lily had passed! When I asked about me coming to pick her up, it was such a relief because the group at pets memory had already came and got her from the vets office. That was one of the best things. Under the circumstances, that I was relieved of. I called the lady at pets memory. We spoke for a moment and by 2 o’clock that afternoon. I had Lily back home. I suggest that anyone that has a Animal that is part of the family to do the pre-arrangement with pets memory! They were Totally awesome!JIMI MC

There isn't enough stars I could possibly give this place. I called ahead to start making arrangements for my baby and they walked me step by step through the process all while remaining compassionate to my feelings. They asked about our baby and what she was like and had a genuine interest in wanting to know. The day came for our baby to cross the rainbow bridge and when I called them they wasted no time making sure they took care of her and made sure we had her back home the same day. When we picked her up they once again shared their condolences being respectful of how we felt and even included a few prayers to help comfort our family in our need. I would highly recommend this company for all your pets resting needs.

We unexpectedly lost our baby girl last night without any notice or reason. To say we are heartbroken is an understatement. We planned on burying her in the back yard but decided to sleep on it first and this morning we decided to call and see about cremation. The lady that answered was very sympathetic and answered everything professionally. We dropped off maple that morning and checked back right before they closed and we was ready to be picked up. Thank you for handling our loved one with care and respect and in a timely manner. I wouldn’t ever want to recommend this service to anyone but when that unfortunate time does come, this is definitely a place to go knowing it’s professional and they have different options on ways to honor your lost one.

If I could offer a NEGATIVE experience I would.I phoned at 11:30 on Saturday February 26 about purchasing a casket after hours. The lady that answered the phone said there would be a $25 after hour fee. I asked TWICE IF I COULD CALL AND GET SOMEONE BECAUSE I COULDN'T MAKE IT UP THERE BEFORE 12. She assured me I could twice.APPARENTLY NOW AT 1:00 WHEN I CALL BACK TO PURCHASE A CASKET BECAUSE MY IN LAWS DOG IS PASSING. DUMONT DECIDES I'M GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MODAY! BECAUSE THE OWNER HAD SURGERY AND CAN'T BE CONTACTED! THE MANAGER COULDN'T BE CONTACTED ON HER PERSONAL PHONE FOR BUSINESS. SO I GUESS ACCORDING TO DUMONT THE MANAGER LIED TO ME AND REFUSED HER JOB. HE WAS JUST ANSWERING AFTER HOUR CALLS BUT COULDN'T DO ANYTHING. I asked then why would someone tell me they offer after hours with a $25 fee if you don't do that? Dumont said whoever I talked to gave me the wrong information. I regret I didn't get her name.I'M VERY UPSET AT THE MOMENT. I HAVE 2 (inlaws)PARENTS IN A WHEELCHAIR. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO ARGUE WITH DUMONT ABOUT IF I CAN BE SOLD A CASKET OR NOT. THE PARENTS ARE GOING TO BE HEART BROKEN AND NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO! I'M DISCUSSED AT THE SERVICE AT THIS POINT!!!Apparently the owner doesn't know that everyone that is running the business while she's out having surgery can't handle the business.Dumont refused to call anyone the first time I called.. the 2nd time I called I was outside the office.. he supposedly called the manager.. She also refused service according to Dumont. I had to go to petsmart to purchase a cardboard casket until I can drive to Hattiesburg MONDAY.SO IF YOUR PET IS IN THE PROCESS OF PASSING PLEASE TELL YOUR PET DO NOT DIE ON SATURDAY AFTER 12:00pm or Sunday. IT WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY. According to Dumont and his manager they DO NOT OFFER AFTER HOUR UNLESS YOU PLAN TO CREMATE YOUR FUR BABY. They will ACCEPT DROP OFFS!BY THE WAY, THE MANAGER HAS YET TO CALL ME BACK.See the difference between the caskets?FOR MY FUR BABY JP. ⤵️Our Fur baby of 12 years had 2 tumors removed 6 weeks ago that were cancerous. The vet told us we may have him a month, a few months maybe a year. But, his liver started bleeding again 6 weeks after surgery, then yesterday morning he passed out from blood loss and fell down 2 steps. Poor baby didn't have the energy to get up. This morning I called A Pet's Memory and was able to purchase a casket right away. They had one in stock. I was so worried I would have to order one online and have to wait. We still have him at the moment. With the service from A Pet's Memory we were able to make sure our fur baby had a casket for a proper burial. The casket came complete with cushioning, pillow and coverlet. The price was reasonable. They had also shown us how to seal the casket and placement of his legs. We're sure going to miss him.RIP sweet boy. See you on the other side. Our Fur baby went to heaven May 9th, 2020. 🐶😭

my baby was taken from us in such a tragic way Wednesday night. i put her in their hands and they did all they could to make sure she was safe. we brought in stamp ink and per request, they stamped her paws. they decorated the ceramic print so beautifully. her name plate was perfect. they gave us so many resources to help with our grief. they let me sit with her for a long time to say one last goodbye, regardless of her state. i brought my baby home less than 24 hours later. i pray you won't ever need them, but if you do, your baby's safe. and if you're reading this, im sure you're hurting as well..hugs.. I hope I'll never have to within the next million years but they're my go to now. thank you for taking care of my baby girl.

A first class operation that made me feel very welcomed from start to finish. Very professional but also personable. Also provided us a couple of keepsakes that we will cherish for years to come. Thank you for making such a tough time a little bit easier. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, since Linda, the owner, decided to remove reviews off of her business page and block me completely, I was left no other choice than to post my review here, in hopes of saving others from having the same horrible experience as I did when I contacted her business, distraught and overcome with grief, the day that I lost my beloved 11 year old German Shepherd. I am attaching photos of her response to my review before she deleted it as well so that everyone can see who she truly is. My sweet beloved fur baby crossed the rainbow bridge on Tuesday. I messaged my vet and she recommended that I call A Pets Memory and said that they would come to my home and pick him up. At 2:33pm on Tuesday, sobbing and crying, I placed the call to them. I explained to the kind girl on the phone that my sweet baby had just passed away at my home and that I was referred to them and told that they would come and get him for me. She then asked me to hold for a minute so she could speak with “the boss” in hopes of seeing if there was anything that they could do to help me today because they closed at 3pm. She didn’t physically place me on hold, she just set the phone down, so I could still hear the conversation between her and “the boss”. As soon as she explained my situation, I hear “the boss” RUDELY say “WE CLOSE AT 3!”. In other words, she wasn’t willing to help me. The girl apologized and told me that they closed at 3pm and that they would not be able to come and get him today. She then asked me if there was any way that we could bring him there by 3pm. I said no ma’am, I live about 30 minutes away and I am waiting for my husband to get home so that he can have time with him and is able to tell him goodbye. She then asks me to hold on again and she tells “the boss” that I cannot get there by 3pm. I hear the boss angrily say “I DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO! I CAN’T PICK UP THAT DOG!” and repeats herself several times. The girl then tells me that I can call them back after 3pm and I will get their after-hours answering service and can ask to have someone meet at their location but I will have to pay an additional fee for someone to meet me “after-hours”. She then asked me if I have a cold floor that I can put him on. Confused, I said I’m not sure what you mean by “cold floor”. She said “do you have a tile floor that you can put him on overnight until we can get to him in the morning?” I said no ma’am we have vinyl plank flooring. They literally suggested that I leave my sweet, lifeless, fur baby, laying on a cold floor for 18+ hours, with another pet in the house. She then asked who my vet was and said that I can bring him there and they can pick him up from there in the morning. I told her who our vet was. The second she repeated my vets name out loud, “the boss” erupted in an angry outburst accusing my vet of sending ALL of their clients to another company, which had NOTHING to do with me or my situation but frustrated me to the point that I raised my voice and said “MAAM, THEY ARE WHO SENT ME TO YOU!“ I told her I needed to talk to my husband would let her know what we decided to do. We made the choice to bring him to our vets office. I did not notify them of my decision nor did I give them my name or my pets name. Upon arrival to our vets office, I explained to them my experience with A Pets Memory. When I mentioned the girl talking to “the boss”, our vet said oh that was Linda. I said who is Linda? She sweetly said that she is the owner. Then the receptionist tells us that Linda had already called up there and told them that they were coming to get my baby. At this point, Linda REALLY made feel like all of this is a money grab to her. In the end, we chose to send our beloved fur baby to another company as our baby deserved the BEST! Linda IS NOT suited to handle anyones beloved baby AT ALL. You are a pet crematory, compassion is VITAL to your business! People ONLY need your services when their pets pass away! I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone who is in need of their services.

I am forever grateful for A Pet's Memory. My 13-1/2 year old pug, Polly, passed away on 9-21-23. We brought her in the next morning around 10. Linda and a staff member greeted us at the front door and walked us through the process. They were so professional and understanding, even with me grieving. I was able to take Polly's ashes home within 2 hours. I will forever have closure thanks to them.

They were compassionate and affordable… You can keep your baby with you always, even when you move. They took great care with my little Shihtzu, Roxi aka Roxanna Rosebud from Rosedale,,,, my heart!!!! She lived healthy until the las week of her life, 18 yrs old. RIP my precious.
Sheena Massengill
A Pet's Memory did an excellent job for us when it came to the arrangements for our precious baby. They were so respectful not only to us,but to our baby as well. They understand the importance of our babies as members of our family. The care and love they showed our baby was unexpected and heartwarming. At such a heartbreaking moment in our lives, it was such a blessing to know that our baby, that we had for 16 1/2 years, was shown the same amount of reverence we would have shown if we put him to rest. Highly recommend A Pet's Memory for all your pet funeral needs. It made it a little easier to see our baby was in loving hands.

They were so amazing! I called the day before to give them a heads up that it was going to be any day. The next day he passed away. I was so so heartbroken missing my baby and they made the day so much better for how it was going! I will definitely be back again(although I hope not for a long long time!).

Of all the businesses I have recommended, this my absolute favorite. I have worked with Andrea and Jim, their level of compassion and care is unrivaled. I have used them now for a total of 5 of my beloved fur babies. In addition to the professional compassionate cremation services, the have a huge variety of products, from key chains to hold some of your baby's ashes to personalized granite head stones. My last baby was Oscar last week. They comforted me, gave me information on coping, and I even got a plaster cast of his paw print. They are my absolute top recommendation.

This place, these people...I can’t even describe how appreciative I am for what they did. They handled our girl with such care and respect. They walked us through the whole process, offered more than I expected and made one of the hardest days of my life a little easier. They even offered to come in after hours if needed. I got a very perfect paw print and clippings of her fur and they got her back to me the next day. They know fur babies are more than pets, they’re family, and they definitely treated Bristol as such. Thank you, A Pets Memory!

After treating a potential customer HORRIBLY in her time of grief, the owner, Linda, went to a Facebook post and blamed her atrocious attitude on her numerous health problems AND THEN sang her own praises about how wonderful she is to the community, how she gives back to the community and how she’s never raised her prices and she’s the best around. Don’t fall for it. The only thing this company is “best for” is talking about why she can’t do her job and how great she is.

Leo was and always will be a part of us.MS. Linda - you all are a true blessing for doing what you do. I am forever grateful 🙏 You have no idea how happy you have made me at such a sorrowful time.Bless you all!!

My baby girl (17 year old chihuahua/rat terrier mix) passed away suddenly. I knew the day would come but when it does, you find yourself wishing for yet another day. However, this wasn’t the case and she passed away in my arms. I called A Pet’s Memory on a Sunday Morning. Lauren answered my call in a timely manner and was very sweet and professional. I actually called while she was in Church and she took the time out to talk to me. She arranged to meet me at the business to drop my baby off. I was so anxious to get her back the next day. They clipped some of her fur for me and the custom paw print was beautifully done. I cannot thank the whole company enough for the professionalism and respectfulness throughout the whole process. I might not have my baby alive with me, but I now have her ashes with me everyday. Thank you to everyone at A Pet’s Memory. When I wasn’t mentally prepared for this, you all made it an easy.

We lost our cat MiMi on 10/29/2021 after 15 years. The staff was so caring and comforting! I cannot express how at ease they made me feel bringing my baby girl there. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that has lost a fur baby! They will definitely treat you and your fur baby right! 1000% recommended!!!!!! Thank you A Pet's Memory for treating my baby girl with respect and kindness.♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

I had to put my beloved 16 year dog down yesterday and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Ms. Niki was so very understanding and professional and I felt comfortable through the whole process. It hurts when you lose a loved one and the ladies I encountered at this business were all very compassionate and helpful during this tough time for me. I was very particular about my sweet dog, she was like my child, and would not have felt comfortable sending her to just anywhere but A Pet’s Memory exceeded my expectations. Thank you A Pet’s Memory, so much, for how you treated me and my sweet Skyy. I am so very grateful.—Hayley

Can not say enough great things about this place and the kind employees who work here.I lost my 15+ years old bearded dragon, Dude, and from drop off to pick up my experience was wonderful.Handled with great respect by people who really care. Pet cremation is never something anyone wants to think about, but I am so grateful for the service by these wonderful people. We picked up our dog Brodie’s ashes today, and I was so amazed by the care A Pet’s Memory took with his items. You can tell they are truly people who care about pets and their owners, and work to make a hard situation more peaceful and memorable. We will always be grateful for the gift A Pet’s Memory gave our family.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional service "A Pet's Memory" provided to my mother's baby girl, Ami, in her time of loss. Everything was handled with great care and extraordinary attention to detail. The poems and Bible Scriptures were a beautiful comfort. Thank you for making a very difficult time very special. It made our loss easier and I highly recommend this company.

This place is heaven sent. The entire staff from the owner, to Miss Nikki, and everyone else we encountered made us feel welcomed. When I called Miss Nikki about my baby girl Bella I was a mess. I could barely get a word out. Instead of being agitated or annoyed the entire staff was compassionate, kind, understanding, and most importantly patient. My girlfriend and I were so grateful we found them. They understood from personal experience the loss and hurt we were going through. They made sure we had all knowledge of the cremation process, and even offered a friendly ear. I love this place and would highly recommend. They deserve more than 5 stars!!

We lost our 15-year-old Boston Terrier, Darwin, yesterday. Through our devastation, the staff of A Pets Memory was absolutely wonderful in helping us deal with our loss and get our boy taken care in both a compassionate and timely manner. Since we live close to an hour away from them, it was wonderful that they were able to get Darwin's ashes to us in a little over an hour so that there would be no going back and forth in the coming days. The staff listened to our grief with open hearts and were wonderful listeners. As hard as this experience was for my family, I am so grateful to A Pets Memory for the ease of this transition and the wonderful service they provided. I would immediately recommend them to any family or individual struggling to get through the loss of their furry family member.

I decided to wait a while before posting, and a month passed before I knew it. Simply to verify it wasn't an influx of emotion influencing my review. The staff could not have been more understanding in a time of distress following the death of our "girl dog" of almost 15yrs. From the first call to the office, arrival with Sandy, to making sure she went home with me the same day. I interacted with every member of the staff and not one showed anything other than compassion and care! They made me feel it was a true compassion for my loss, not compassion out of obligation. Fees were very reasonable and not pushy on anything. They wanted us to merely get what we wanted. There was no up selling which I have seen first hand at human funeral homes. We have shared our experience with anyone which has a beloved pet and is thinking of cremation. We highly recommend the services of A Pet's Memory! As we live in Alabama and choose to drive to the office in Mississippi, I know on at least two more occasions I will have to make that journey. When it is time to say goodbye to our boy dogs, Toby and Scooter, so they can meet up with their girl Sandy, on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

Almost 2 years ago I had to put a cat that I loved up for adoption due to my living situation. I wondered how she was every day and if I would ever see her again. A few days ago I got a call about a cat that was in really bad shape. It was my baby girl. I rushed her to an animal hospital I trust and there wasnt anything we could do. I'm still grieving. A Pet's Memory provided papers that have caring words. They put some of her fur in a bag. The box her ashes are in is nice. I didn't personally meet the staff but I can tell they really care. I will miss her until I see her again. Thank you to the staff for what you do.

Unfortunately, I had to use their services yesterday for a pet that my wife and I have had for 16 years. I can't describe how kind Linda and the other staff members I encountered (but don't recall their names, sorry!) were and how much they make you more comfortable with the whole process. I hate we had to meet, but I don't have any negatives whatsoever to say about my experience there. When the unfortunate day comes that we need them again, we will definitely be returning for their services. Would recommend to anyone!

We lost our beautiful Ruby this week very suddenly & unexpectedly. Needless to say we are devastated and from the first phone call Linda was so compassionate. When we arrived with Ruby, Linda and another gentleman put her on a gurney and took her inside where we went into a beautiful room to say our last goodbyes. At no time were we rushed, but comforted at every turn and it was completely genuine. When we wanted to choose an Urn for her, there was no up selling and nothing was pushed on us. We were then assured of the process and how everything was going to happen. We had Ruby's Ashes returned to us that afternoon, along with a requested Paw Print and fur clipping. We couldn't be anymore satisfied with the way such a painful time has been handled, with empathy and with such genuine care for our Ruby. I would recommend A Pet's Memory to anyone who has lost a fur baby as they provide a very difficult but extremely needed service.

My 7 year old bunny, Tilly, suddenly passed away last week. I am eternally grateful for A Pet's Memory and their incredibly compassionate staff. They have truly eased the grieving process for me and my family. The second you walk through the door, you feel like family. Every question you might have comes with in depth answers. They explain the entire process clearly and completely. True animal lovers that I appreciate with my entire heart. The Gulf Coast is blessed to have you all. Thank you for what you do, from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for taking great care of our baby girl Zam with great care and professionalism. The lock of her tri colored hair was a very personal touch that we didn't even think to ask for. Your Staff was very polite and understanding, during this difficult loss.

I had to put my baby boy to sleep and A Pet's Memory retrieved him from the vet, and returned him the very next day. The packet they provided really helped with some grieving issues I'm having and I'm thankful to have him back home so quickly.

Rebecca Olivieri
I am forever grateful for A Pet's Memory. My 13-1/2 year old pug, Polly, passed away on 9-21-23. We brought her in the next morning around 10. Linda and a staff member greeted us at the front door and walked us through the process. They were so professional and understanding, even with me grieving. I was able to take Polly's ashes home within 2 hours. I will forever have closure thanks to them.
Beverly Balius
Robert Smalley
Very kind and compassionate staff. They know that your pet is part of the family, their kindness and professionalism helps you get through the trauma of losing a beloved pet.The urn is beautiful. Their cremation service is very quick. I highly recommend these beautiful people.

They were so amazing! I called the day before to give them a heads up that it was going to be any day. The next day he passed away. I was so so heartbroken missing my baby and they made the day so much better for how it was going! I will definitely be back again(although I hope not for a long long time!).

Never used a pet funeral home before but after today that's the only way I'll ever have my pet taken care of after they pass. The people here are so amazing they make you feal so at ease in a difficult time. They are so caring and have all the bases covered. I give them 10 stars out of 5. My hats off to them for a super JOB!!!!!!!

I lost my girl Sunday morning unexpectedly. APM was caring and compassionate from my call for info Monday morning (yesterday) to picking her up today. While the prayers and bible verses they enclosed weren't big for me as an Atheistic Pagan, I understand since I'm in the Bible Belt that the majority of their clients feel otherwise. I DO greatly appreciate them clipping some of both colours of her fur. I wanted cremation because she origionally was adopted by my late wife, and didn't want to just bury her in the backyard and she be stuck here when I move. I have another two boys, and as long as still here on the MSGC when their time comes, I WILL DEFINITELY be using APM's services again, and will recommend to anyone I know who loses their furkid.

I have a foster pet from the Humane Society that didn't live through his illness. I am a teacher working from 7 to 3 everyday. When I called this funeral home, their opening hours are only to 3 o'clock. When I explained to the woman that I work until 3, she only said "Well, I don't know how you're going to make it work (to get the animal cremated), because you need to fill in the paperwork and we close at three". That response is neither professional nor conciliatory to someone who has lost an animal, even if it was under foster care. She offered no alternative solutions - like something as simple as emailing me the documents so that I can fill them in and send them back. Unbelievable - callous and apathetic. I have other words, but they aren't acceptable online.
Renee Fleury
I want to thank the whole staff that took care of my baby boy Jake.the way they handled him and treated him was amazing. They were so kind and patient with me through a very difficult time. There are not enough kind words I can say about each and everyone of you that handled jake.may god bless you all.

Susan soper
After treating a potential customer HORRIBLY in her time of grief, the owner, Linda, went to a Facebook post and blamed her atrocious attitude on her numerous health problems AND THEN sang her own praises about how wonderful she is to the community, how she gives back to the community and how she’s never raised her prices and she’s the best around. Don’t fall for it. The only thing this company is “best for” is talking about why she can’t do her job and how great she is.
Penny Davis
I was hysterical when my Leo passed. I didn't know what to do. I contacted Ms. Linda and her compassionate staff understood what my family and I were going through.

Melissa Solomon
We lost our cat MiMi on 10/29/2021 after 15 years. The staff was so caring and comforting! I cannot express how at ease they made me feel bringing my baby girl there.
