Pets are our greatest hello and hardest goodbye. Hanai made saying goodbye a little more comforting. I can only say amazing things about Hanai very respectful and personal. I felt that my sweet boy was truly cared for in those moments we could not be together. I called Hanai at about 6:30pm from the vet after losing my sweet boy bawling and I wasn’t met with panic or annoyance only with love, care and compassion Gilbert told me everything would be taken care of and it absolutely was they even coordinated with the vet’s office for me so I didn’t have to. What a hard but beautiful service they offer. Thank you Hanai for helping with my sweet boy.♥️💔🐾🌈✨

After reading all of the positive reviews online for Hanai Pet Cremation, we knew they were the perfect choice for us to bring our precious kitty Gilbert to. Sue greeted us with kindness and empathy and gave us the opportunity to say goodbye in a peaceful room. We appreciate the beautiful clay pawprints and paper prints that she made for us to treasure, and we love the high quality wooden box that he came home in. This was such a difficult time go to through - knowing that Gilbert was being cared for made it much easier to process. A heartfelt thank you again to Sue at Hanai for everything!

Our family can not express how much Hanai Pet Cremation helped us in our time of need. Thor(9 yrs old) passed away on Sunday evening with the love of his family all around him, but we were sad and confused on how to proceed with a 145 lb mastiff. Who do you call, is any place open? My husband called Hanai after finding them online, Gilmore picked up right away and we were able to bring our beloved dog to them.Sue met us at Kanai on a Sunday night at 8pm, she was welcoming and comforting in this very hard time. Sue cleaned Thor up and we were able to say our last goodbyes in a quiet room that was very helpful for my two boys(16 and 12 yrs old). Fast forward to next day when we received a call from Sue that Thor was ready to pick up, we received his ashes in a beautiful wooden box and a beautiful ornament with Thor's paw 🐾 print. Sue brought us comfort in our time of need and we could not be more thankful. We will recommend Kanai to all our family and friends for their professionalism, dedication to all furry/scaly/feathery loved ones and for being there in our time of need.

They treated us with dignity and respect and took care of our family dog after he passed away very early in the morning. When our almost 14 year old dog was reaching the end of her life, we started looking into cremation options. We came across Gilmore's story and how Hanai started. His story really resonated with me, so I decided to reach out and learn more. When I told Gilmore our situation, he seemed to genuinely care. He assured me that our dog would be handled with respect and care. We were even given the option to come to Hanai and have a private room for as long as needed to say our goodbyes. The turnaround to get the ashes back was very quick, and the extras we purchased were of excellent quality and done very beautifully. As hard as this time was for our family, saying goodbye to our pet of 14 years, Gilmore and Sue made everything so much easier. We definitely made the right choice going to Hanai Pet Cremation.

We just moved to town and our sweet bearded dragon Lady passed. Not knowing anyone in town we turned to Google reviews and found Hanai. Gilmore was super kind and let us come in after office hours. He let us take our time to privately say our goodbyes and reassured us on all the steps they would take down to us picking the color of the ribbons for the clay print. While this is the first pet cremation I have ever done, I would greatfuly go back to them for their services.

Hanai was wonderful for our dog. They answered immediately - even though it was early in the morning - and came quickly (within the hour!) to help transport our pet for cremation. They were very respectful of the difficult time we were going through. Two days later they were ready with the remains -and pick up and payment was easy. Words cannot express what a comfort Hanai was when my cat died suddenly. I had no idea how to deal with the loss in both an emotional and practical stand point. I lost my best friend and favorite cat, Henry. It was the worst day of my life. At the vet went over options on how best to handle his remains. The clinic wouldn't be able to process him until after the weekend.We contacted Hanai and he was taken immediately, and was cremated over the weekend. He was in my hands that Monday. The owner was very considerate, incredibly professional, and compassionate. He let me know as soon as they had my boy, when they were processing him, and when he was ready.He even stayed an hour after closing to ensure I could have him the very same day. They made one of the most painful decisions in my life easier. And for that I can't thank them enough.I wish this was never something I had to do; I am so grateful they were so helpful.

I cannot speak highly enough of Hanai for taking care of my Ophelia today. I called the emergency number before the sun rose and Gilmore answered the phone immediately. He was willing to message the associated vet before open hours for an at-home euthanasia. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be necessary, but we were able to meet Gilmore at Hanai within the hour after her passing and everything was taken care of smoothly, professionally, and compassionately. He even took the care to wrap her ashes in a piece of her bed that we had left her with and put it inside the urn. Thank you for everything.

I first used hanai in January when I lost my guinea pig, when I got there sue was at the front and was very welcoming and sweet. The lobby felt very comforting nothing overwhelming. She took Eddy to the quiet room and I filled out paperwork, she explained the process and I got a tour of the facility before going into the quiet room to say my goodbyes to my fur baby. In May I used hanai again for my other guinea pig, sue was there again for me and put mimzy in the quiet room, I knew the process but this time I opted to watch the cremation. Gilmore and I set up a day and time so I could come in to watch him place my fur baby into the cremator, I got to say my goodbyes one last time which was the closure I needed for my first animal on my own. Gilmore was great with me through the process! This company is by far the most amazing. The sweetest and most caring people I’ve ever met and I cannot recommend them enough! I will use their services for all my pets because I know they are in the right hands. When I got my guineas ashes back they were in beautiful wood boxes along with foot prints and I bought the clay ornaments, I have something I can cherish of them forever! I highly recommend this company over and over again. Thank you sue and Gilmore for everything you do after the passing of our fur babies!

My amazing dog of 15 years passed away and Hanai was the only place I called. It was after hours and the owner opened the business and stayed the time needed for my dog to have a respectful and compassionate service/cremation. The prices are appropriate and the options are great for those who want a private and quick cremation. I would recommend and use in the future.

Gilmore and Sue are very nice and were very accommodating when we had to put our boy Spotty down. They were very informative during the whole process and they care about you and your pet and understand they were apart of your family. Gilmore came to our home and picked him up and we met them at crematory and they got him ready and had him in the viewing room to say our final goodbyes. While watching my sister’s dog, her life unfortunately came to an end. Being frazzled and sad, I didn’t know what to do. Hanai answered a call on a Saturday and showed the utmost compassion. She assured us she would take care of Luna and allow time for my sister to return from out of town to say goodbye. The space was welcoming and private. On one of the worst days, I felt at ease. I recommend to anyone to allow the care of their loving pet in the after life to be done here.

I highly recommend Hanai to take of your beloved pet after it crosses the rainbow bridge. They did an amazing job with my blue and gold macaw Murphy. I was given a nicely decorated, private room to say my goodbyes. They treated me and her with care and kindness. Three days later I was able to pick up Murphy's ashes, and I genuinely appreciate Gilmore staying an hour late so that I could pick her up right after work. The clay claw prints they created look amazing and I will treasure them always. Thank you for everything, as losing a pet I've owned for 35 years is very difficult and unexpected.

If you have to get your little loved one cremated, please come here. My mom's dog unexpectedly passed on Friday and we didn't want to have to keep her with us over the weekend, and these guys were the only place that said "open 24 hours" that answered the phone. They were extremely empathetic and kind on the phone and even waited for us to drive an hour and a half to get there, even though it was late at night. Absolutely amazing people, cared for our baby like she was their own. Extremely peaceful and private service which helped us a lot with our grief. Also extremely reasonably priced as well, the time between drop off and getting her picked up again was very quick too. Beautiful clay paw prints with custom bows that perfectly matched our baby's collar.. I can't recommend them enough, wishing the best for them and their business! Thank you guys so much for everything you've done for us.

I wish I could give 10 stars. I'm an odd case... I asked for my ~550 lb mule to be cremated. He was my "little" buddy and I couldn't see him go. I wanted him with me forever. From the moment I called to the completion of cremation and pick up, I was extremely at ease and comfort knowing that Georgey was in great hands. Hanai owners are the NICEST people and will explain everything to you. They will let you say your final goodbyes in peace. The experience was never rushed. They allowed as much time as my family and I wanted to take in our final moments. Sadly, they understand the heartache, but I'm so SO thankful I chose Hanai. They treat your pet as their own. They are incredibly kind-hearted people. Normally, if a dog or cat passes, a clay paw print is done. They went all out for my family and me... they did a clay "paw" print of Georgey's hoof!!!! They have beautiful urns where your loved pets can go. They even have really nice jewelry and they will place the ashes in the jewelry for you. I asked for a little bag so I could spread Georgey's ashes in his pasture. This is obviously a sad time, but Hanai gives us the forever opportunity to hold onto our loved pets. I will absolutely use them again when the time comes. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Hanai.

I absolutely loved Hanai. My kitty’s last appointment was at 4pm (ending close to 5pm) so I called to ask closing time. The gentleman said, “Don’t worry about that, we will take care of her no matter the time.” They picked up my kitty from the vet so I didn’t have to worry about dropping her off and taking her in my car. They were able to cremate her with her favorite toy. I was given a lock of hair, four ink paw prints and a wooden box for her. The process was so simple, it took the stress of figuring things out so I could say goodbye and not worry. The employees were so respectful and kind. I would recommend Hanai to anyone I know.

I recently experienced a heart, wrenching loss of my beloved puppy who was tragically hit by a car. During this incredibly difficult time and pet cremation center provided an exceptional level of caring compassion. And I was sincere and prompted the response. They understood the urgency and pain I was going through and immediately offered their assistance. I unexpected lost my cat (only unexpected to me) of 14 years. I was heartbroken. The second hit of sadness was realizing I live in a home that I'm not planning to stay in so I would have to lose my beloved pet a second time once we moved. I was so happy that I found this place. We traveled over an hour and it was worth it. They were so respectful and kind from the moment we walked through the door. I would start crying if I talked about her death so they allowed me to email. They gave me 4 beautiful paw prints, a certificate and my baby in a beautiful urn. This is always a difficult time but they will take care of you. Paw prints for memories and if you don't want the ashes for yourself they are spread in the Atlantic Ocean, which was more than I expected. They are flexible with their hours to accommodate you; in today's world, that is rare.

We were in a private room with as much time as we wanted to say goodbye to our beloved Ivy. Ivy had a fluffy pink bed that she passed away in. This spot was her absolute favorite place to be. It was comforting that she passed there. I asked Gilmore if she could be cremated in this bed. He said absolutely, and then he added that he would cut a piece of the bed and wrap it around her bag that held her cremated ashes. I was so impressed that Gilmore offered this idea and extra special touch. It really warmed our hearts to know that she was still wrapped up in her favorite bed when she came home to us.

My beloved dog died on a road trip and Gilmore and Sue could not have been more accommodating, compassionate, caring and professional in serving me. Not being from the area, I didn't know where to go or what to do to be able to take my hound's remains with me as I continued traveling. Their website was thorough and thoughtful, which is what they were in person too. I had to transport my guy there from an hour+ away and they met me at the door and helped get him inside, gave me ample time to say goodbye in a lovely, private space. I lost my cat on Wednesday. And kind of just... sat there in shock for hours after I found her. By the time I started moving again, everywhere else was closed. I really didn't want to let her body sit there or have to put her in the freezer... so I looked up places that were open longer or could do after hours.I found Hanai Pet Cremation. They responded to my inquiry fairly quickly, so I was able to drop off my girl that night. Gilmore was very kind, considerate, and patient. He helped make a really horrible day somewhat more bearable.Their location was roughly an hour and a half drive one way for me. But it was worth going out of my way for.I got a nice paw print imprint and they got several decent ink prints for me. I will likely be getting one tattooed.

Hānai Pet Cremation was absolutely fantastic when we had to unexpectedly say goodbye to our sweet cat Pazu. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Two weeks ago, I awoke to our cat having some breathing issues so I arranged a visit at the vet, they tried some treatments and thought he had improved, but unfortunately he passed away in the car on the way home from the vet. It was shocking and devastating. It was our kids last day of school so I seriously sat there holding him and saying my goodbyes to him as I waited for them to get home from school and it was really important that my husband and our children got to say their goodbyes as well so everyone found out as they got home from school and work. We took time to say goodbye and mourn and then the question became, what do we do with our sweet boy now? We all agreed that cremation would be best but we now found ourselves shortly after 5PM on a Friday night going into a weekend. After a google search and reading reviews, we felt like Hānai was the best choice and we’re SO happy we chose them. Gilmore said it was no problem that they were closed and he’d be happy to go back to Hānai so that we could bring Pazu there that night. When we met up there, Gilmore led us to a room and told us to take our time and he took wonderful care of us and our cat. As we were leaving, he told us he would take great care of Pazu and we truly believed him. Both Gilmore and Sue were incredibly compassionate, warm, professional, nice, and an absolute joy to work with. I highly recommend them if you need cremation services for your beloved pet ❤️❤️❤️

Services and customer service were incredibly kind and professional. Our sons dog passed away while he was at work. HE came home and found her. He was traumatized and didn't know what to do. The owner was so flexible and willing to do anything to help ease the burden of this terrible time. They came and picked the dog up from his home right away, even though it was already evening. The plaque with the paw print was adorable and our son will always be able to hold onto the ashes. I highly recommend Hanai to take of your beloved pet after it crosses the rainbow bridge. They did an amazing job with my blue and gold macaw Murphy. I was given a nicely decorated, private room to say my goodbyes. They treated me and her with care and kindness. Three days later I was able to pick up Murphy's ashes, and I genuinely appreciate Gilmore staying an hour late so that I could pick her up right after work. If you have to get your little loved one cremated, please come here. My mom's dog unexpectedly passed on Friday and we didn't want to have to keep her with us over the weekend, and these guys were the only place that said "open 24 hours" that answered the phone. They were extremely empathetic and kind on the phone and even waited for us to drive an hour and a half to get there, even though it was late at night. Absolutely amazing people, cared for our baby like she was their own. Extremely peaceful and private service which helped us a lot with our grief. Also extremely reasonably priced as well, the time between drop off and getting her picked up again was very quick too. Beautiful clay paw prints with custom bows that perfectly matched our baby's collar.. I can't recommend them enough, wishing the best for them and their business! I wish I could give 10 stars. I'm an odd case... I asked for my ~550 lb mule to be cremated. He was my "little" buddy and I couldn't see him go. I wanted him with me forever. From the moment I called to the completion of cremation and pick up, I was extremely at ease and comfort knowing that Georgey was in great hands. Hanai owners are the NICEST people and will explain everything to you. They will let you say your final goodbyes in peace. The experience was never rushed. They allowed as much time as my family and I wanted to take in our final moments. Sadly, they understand the heartache, but I'm so SO thankful I chose Hanai. They treat your pet as their own. They are incredibly kind-hearted people. Normally, if a dog or cat passes, a clay paw print is done. They went all out for my family and me... they did a clay "paw" print of Georgey's hoof!!!! They have beautiful urns where your loved pets can go. They even have really nice jewelry and they will place the ashes in the jewelry for you. I asked for a little bag so I could spread Georgey's ashes in his pasture. This is obviously a sad time, but Hanai gives us the forever opportunity to hold onto our loved pets. I will absolutely use them again when the time comes. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Hanai.

I absolutely loved Hanai. My kitty’s last appointment was at 4pm (ending close to 5pm) so I called to ask closing time. The gentleman said, “Don’t worry about that, we will take care of her no matter the time.” They picked up my kitty from the vet so I didn’t have to worry about dropping her off and taking her in my car. They were able to cremate her with her favorite toy. I was given a lock of hair, four ink paw prints and a wooden box for her. The process was so simple, it took the stress of figuring things out so I could say goodbye and not worry. The employees were so respectful and kind. I would recommend Hanai to anyone I know.

The second hit of sadness was realizing I live in a home that I'm not planning to stay in so I would have to lose my beloved pet a second time once we moved. I was so happy that I found this place. I highly recommend Hanai Pet Cremation. They made the process easier than I expected it to be. They were very gentle and respectful with our lovely Zola who passed on 1/8/24. We brought her in the same day and got her cremated and back to us that afternoon. They allowed us to see her and take as much time as we needed in the quiet room. They also allowed me to put her in the cremator and press the cremate button. They explained everything in great detail about the whole process. I cannot recommend Hanai Pet Cremation more highly. My beautiful dog and companion of 16 years, Dolly, died one week ago today after an illness of only a few days. I was in complete shock and was (still am) devastated. A mobile vet came to my home on short notice to help my dog cross that rainbow bridge and he knew the owners of Hanai. He called them and shortly thereafter Gilmore from Hanai arrived at my home. Gilmore's demeanor was so compassionate and patient. I was in shock at what just happened and Gilmore gave me time to share a bit about my dog, to cry in front of him, and he shared his experience that led him to start this business. It was clear to me by what he said, his tone of voice and the look on his face that he knew exactly and truly how I felt. He gave me time to hold my dog. He was willing to leave and give me time, and then come back when I was ready later that day. Gilmore came back and I carried my girl to Hanai's perfect little black car and placed her, wrapped in her blankets, in the back. Gilmore is comfortable giving hugs to those grieving this deep loss. And, miraculously, I was able to come back to their building and see her again. Yes, she was dead, and yes, I thought that was weird to ask for that, but Gilmore said I wasn't the first and won't be the last and it was so comforting to know I wasn't alone. I was astonished that it was possible to go back! It had only been a day so she hadn't been cremated yet. She was still in the blankets as she was. She was not stiff as I expected (what did I know), she was just cool. Holding her again and talking to her... gave me the closure I needed. She looked as beautiful as she always did. They have a "quiet room" where you can be with your pet to take the time you need with them. The day of her death I was too distraught to think about how long I wanted to hold her plus I had no idea how to handle this situation. My previous pets were brought to a vet's office and in that situation, you need to leave them quickly. I've never had this opportunity.If your pet is still alive, talk to your vet and tell them you want them to use Hanai after your pet passes away. It is a gentle, beautiful, loving experience. Gilmore and Sue are amazing, authentic people. Having had this opportunity, next time, even if my next pet dies at the vets office, I will ask to have them handled by Hanai. I wouldn't have it any other way. Your beloved four legged family member will be treated with respect, gentleness and kindness, as you will. I have nothing but the best to say about Hanai.

We were in a private room with as much time as we wanted to say goodbye to our beloved Ivy. Ivy had a fluffy pink bed that she passed away in. This spot was her absolute favorite place to be. It was comforting that she passed there. I asked Gilmore if she could be cremated in this bed. He said absolutely, and then he added that he would cut a piece of the bed and wrap it around her bag that held her cremated ashes. Not being from the area, I didn't know where to go or what to do to be able to take my hound's remains with me as I continued traveling. We have unfortunately had to use their services twice within a month, one with our rabbit Moose and one with one of dogs, Pikachu. Compassionate, kind, understanding, patient…these words don’t begin to describe what we experienced. They’re so far beyond those words. I mostly worked with Sue, and she was caring, attentive, and was so understanding and non-judgmental to my experience and feelings with my situation. Our Remii girl crossed the rainbow bridge on a Friday afternoon, I called and spoke to Gilmore, he was so understanding and compassionate about the situation and completely understood our family dynamic! He personally came and picked our girl up from Stewartville and went over and beyond our expectations!! I even couldn't make it to the office before closing time and Gilmore offered to come back after closing so I could get Remii's remains... I never expected that of him but it just goes to show how much he truly cares about what he's doing and that he understands the true meaning of family... I will forever use their services in the future and highly recommend Hanai for anyone who needs cremation services for their furry loved ones well!!

I cannot recommend Hanai Pet Cremation more highly. My beautiful dog and companion of 16 years, Dolly, died one week ago today after an illness of only a few days. I was in complete shock and was (still am) devastated. A mobile vet came to my home on short notice to help my dog cross that rainbow bridge and he knew the owners of Hanai. He called them and shortly thereafter Gilmore from Hanai arrived at my home. Gilmore's demeanor was so compassionate and patient. I was in shock at what just happened and Gilmore gave me time to share a bit about my dog, to cry in front of him, and he shared his experience that led him to start this business. It was clear to me by what he said, his tone of voice and the look on his face that he knew exactly and truly how I felt. He gave me time to hold my dog. He was willing to leave and give me time, and then come back when I was ready later that day. Gilmore came back and I carried my girl to Hanai's perfect little black car and placed her, wrapped in her blankets, in the back. Gilmore is comfortable giving hugs to those grieving this deep loss. And, miraculously, I was able to come back to their building and see her again. Yes, she was dead, and yes, I thought that was weird to ask for that, but Gilmore said I wasn't the first and won't be the last and it was so comforting to know I wasn't alone. I was astonished that it was possible to go back! It had only been a day so she hadn't been cremated yet. She was still in the blankets as she was. She was not stiff as I expected (what did I know), she was just cool. Holding her again and talking to her... gave me the closure I needed. She looked as beautiful as she always did. They have a "quiet room" where you can be with your pet to take the time you need with them. The day of her death I was too distraught to think about how long I wanted to hold her plus I had no idea how to handle this situation. My previous pets were brought to a vet's office and in that situation, you need to leave them quickly. I've never had this opportunity.If your pet is still alive, talk to your vet and tell them you want them to use Hanai after your pet passes away. It is a gentle, beautiful, loving experience. Gilmore and Sue are amazing, authentic people. Having had this opportunity, next time, even if my next pet dies at the vets office, I will ask to have them handled by Hanai. I wouldn't have it any other way. Your beloved four legged family member will be treated with respect, gentleness and kindness, as you will. I have nothing but the best to say about Hanai.

I am grateful Hanai has opened in Rochester so I didn’t have to drive so far during a very emotional and difficult time as I’ve had to do with past pets. They were very professional, responsive, kind and compassionate. I would recommend them to anyone in need. We have unfortunately had to use their services twice within a month, one with our rabbit Moose and one with one of dogs, Pikachu. Compassionate, kind, understanding, patient…these words don’t begin to describe what we experienced. They’re so far beyond those words. I never once felt rushed to say goodbye, and BOTH times were after hours, one being a Sunday night and one a Friday night. They took their time, and even fulfilled my special request of a nose print beautifully. If you ever find yourself sadly looking for pet cremation services, I cannot recommend Hanai enough. Hanging Pet Cremation is wonderful, and I honestly could not recommend them more. I mostly worked with Sue, and she was caring, attentive, and was so understanding and non-judgmental to my experience and feelings with my situation. My kitty, BEEF, passed away very suddenly and I was lost and didn’t know what to do with his body. I thought cremation was out of the question because of the cost, however I found Hanai and saw their reasonable prices online which immediately changed my mind on cremation. It was definitely an option. I thought I was going to have to bury my kitty at our rental home which broke my heart, so I am very thankful for hanai’s reasonable prices. I also love how they say their “why” on the website and how they guarantee it is your pet’s remains and only your pet’s remains. I knew that BEEF would be in good hands going to Hanai to get cremated. I was able to drop him off without an appointment and say my goodbyes in a nice room and was able to take my time with him. Gilmore explained that he would take ink paw prints for me and that BEEF would come home in a complimentary wooden urn and showed me what they would look like. The turn-around time was a few days but that is expected. You can pay extra for expedited service, but I didn’t need that personally. Upon pickup the urn was bubble wrapped and sealed shut with a screw so it cannot open, which is nice because no one wants the ashes coming out, but I’m sure if you wanted to spread your pet’s ashes they’d probably accommodate you. The price with sales tax was more than what was on their website, so I wish the cost online matched the price with tax, just something to note. It wasn’t a big deal to me since the price was still more than reasonable. Thank you for your service, I will bring my pets to Hanai in the future when it’s time.

Highly Recommended! After our 15 yr. old Beagle passed away on a Saturday, Gilmore from Hanai answered our call and immediately met us to accept the remains. He was very professional and caring. He quickly completed the services by Monday afternoon, then we picked up our little guy to bring him back home that day. BothGilmore and his wife were very compassionate and provided us with a framed paw print along with a Certificate of Individual Cremation and a lovely stained sealed box. The price was veryreasonable and way cheaper than going with the Vet Clinic, who would ship his remains to who knows whereand then have him possibly cremated with other animals. Gilmore is a Veteran, and current Commander of the localAmerican Legion, his Hanai business is a strong supporter of Law Enforcement and Military and will offer his servicesfor FREE to Dogs from Law Enforcement or Military. This review is long overdue, but I strongly feel like I need to write it! Back in August my 14 year old little Java, was at the stage that I just knew it was her time. She had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure earlier in the year and had some really good months after that! (I tried to find things to do with her, that she never did! Such as get a trailer for my bike and take her out as much as I could... per the picture with that big beautiful smile 🤗) 4 months later she stopped eating, coughing non-stop and having seizures. I did not know where to start!? Didn't even know if I'd be able to make a phone call? Googled some stuff, saw Hanai had 5 stars all around... Talked to Sue and asked about options. She recommended mobile vet Dr. Scott Miller and explained the process. I can not thank these guys enough!!!! The thought of going to an animal hospital and having it done there made me want to pass out. Dr. Scott Miller was just the kindest, most compassionate angel I could've ever hoped to show up at my house and help me through this process! I was completely numb at the time and was just going through the motions. Not only did I have to put my beloved Java down, but had a lot of extra pressure and stress at work, due to lack of employees (had to go to work right after having her put down) and also dealing with a friend who struggles with mental health and addiction!! Yes, it was incredibly overwhelming!!!... But I mention that, only because, this process that could've gone completely different, ended up being a complete blessing. ❤️❤️ Thank you Sue, for being there to listen to me, when I needed someone to hear what I was going through! ❤️ You were a complete stranger, but I just felt comfortable venting to you, lol.. Hardest thing I've ever had to go through so far, but I'd highly recommend Hanai pet cremation services to anyone who unfortunately needs their services. They offer after hours, with a small fee but.. it that fee didn't matter.. What mattered that they offer the after hours.. I didn't know what to do with my baby when I found her.. I looked all over google, checking out every place.. Then I found Hanai, they responded so quick to my messages on their website chat, answering all my questions.. Told me I could come in and drop her off that night.. say my goodbyes.. It's really nice in there and the staff are very kind and caring. They also have really nice tissues..!! They did a wonderful job taking care of us and our Sunshine. It was hard losing her but we felt very welcome and were taken care of. My husband and I had lost our cat Yoshi. It was a Saturday, we know no one would be opened but we still called around even though we were crying. When they answered they were very sympathetic with us. We brought Yoshi there, they let us say our final goodbyes. Hanai Pet Cremation is getting 5 stars only because there’s not a higher rating to give them. Our dog died quickly and unexpectedly one evening because the emergency vet was closed due to staffing and the next closest was over an hour and 20 minutes away. We were completely distraught. The folks at Hanai met us in the middle of the night until we could figure out what we needed to do. We took our love to the cities the next day for a necropsy, but he couldn’t be released to us after. Hanai picked him up and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. In our most shocking and sorrowful time, they were kind, gracious and patient. They are truly amazing humans. I can’t recommend them enough.

I knew that BEEF would be in good hands going to Hanai to get cremated. I was able to drop him off without an appointment and say my goodbyes in a nice room and was able to take my time with him. Gilmore explained that he would take ink paw prints for me and that BEEF would come home in a complimentary wooden urn and showed me what they would look like. The turn-around time was a few days but that is expected. You can pay extra for expedited service, but I didn’t need that personally. Upon pickup the urn was bubble wrapped and sealed shut with a screw so it cannot open, which is nice because no one wants the ashes coming out, but I’m sure if you wanted to spread your pet’s ashes they’d probably accommodate you. The price with sales tax was more than what was on their website, so I wish the cost online matched the price with tax, just something to note. It wasn’t a big deal to me since the price was still more than reasonable. Thank you for your service, I will bring my pets to Hanai in the future when it’s time.

Highly Recommended! After our 15 yr. old Beagle passed away on a Saturday, Gilmore from Hanai answered our call and immediately met us to accept the remains. He was very professional and caring. He quickly completed the services by Monday afternoon, then we picked up our little guy to bring him back home that day. BothGilmore and his wife were very compassionate and provided us with a framed paw print along with a Certificate of Individual Cremation and a lovely stained sealed box. The price was veryreasonable and way cheaper than going with the Vet Clinic, who would ship his remains to who knows whereand then have him possibly cremated with other animals. Gilmore is a Veteran, and current Commander of the localAmerican Legion, his Hanai business is a strong supporter of Law Enforcement and Military and will offer his servicesfor FREE to Dogs from Law Enforcement or Military. This review is long overdue, but I strongly feel like I need to write it! Back in August my 14 year old little Java, was at the stage that I just knew it was her time. She had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure earlier in the year and had some really good months after that! (I tried to find things to do with her, that she never did! Such as get a trailer for my bike and take her out as much as I could... per the picture with that big beautiful smile 🤗) 4 months later she stopped eating, coughing non-stop and having seizures. I did not know where to start!? Didn't even know if I'd be able to make a phone call? Googled some stuff, saw Hanai had 5 stars all around... Talked to Sue and asked about options. She recommended mobile vet Dr. Scott Miller and explained the process. I can not thank these guys enough!!!! The thought of going to an animal hospital and having it done there made me want to pass out. Dr. Scott Miller was just the kindest, most compassionate angel I could've ever hoped to show up at my house and help me through this process! I was completely numb at the time and was just going through the motions. Not only did I have to put my beloved Java down, but had a lot of extra pressure and stress at work, due to lack of employees (had to go to work right after having her put down) and also dealing with a friend who struggles with mental health and addiction!! Yes, it was incredibly overwhelming!!!... But I mention that, only because, this process that could've gone completely different, ended up being a complete blessing. ❤️❤️ Thank you Sue, for being there to listen to me, when I needed someone to hear what I was going through! ❤️ You were a complete stranger, but I just felt comfortable venting to you, lol.. Hardest thing I've ever had to go through so far, but I'd highly recommend Hanai pet cremation services to anyone who unfortunately needs their services. They offer after hours, with a small fee but.. it that fee didn't matter.. What mattered that they offer the after hours.. I didn't know what to do with my baby when I found her.. I looked all over google, checking out every place.. Then I found Hanai, they responded so quick to my messages on their website chat, answering all my questions.. Told me I could come in and drop her off that night.. say my goodbyes.. It's really nice in there and the staff are very kind and caring. They also have really nice tissues..!! When they answered they were very sympathetic with us. We brought Yoshi there, they let us say our final goodbyes. Hanai Pet Cremation is getting 5 stars only because there’s not a higher rating to give them. Our dog died quickly and unexpectedly one evening because the emergency vet was closed due to staffing and the next closest was over an hour and 20 minutes away. We were completely distraught. The folks at Hanai met us in the middle of the night until we could figure out what we needed to do. We took our love to the cities the next day for a necropsy, but he couldn’t be released to us after. Hanai picked him up and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. In our most shocking and sorrowful time, they were kind, gracious and patient. They are truly amazing humans. I can’t recommend them enough.
