I highly recommend Mankato Pet Cremation. My partner and I had to put down our first kitty, Blaze, together and were struggling on what to do with her remains - going back and forth on if burial on (not our) property, or, cremation was the best. The night before Thanksgiving 2023, Mankato pet cremation called me back within minutes to schedule a drop off of our kitty's remains on Thanksgiving morning. We were able to have her cremated separate, but, with another shelter cat in the crematorium, which can help the animal shelters offset the cost of cremation for their animals. This was so sweet to us and we are so happy to have had that opportunity to help. We ordered a beautiful mahogany urn and are so grateful for such a beautiful and seamless process for our little gal. The price is VERY reasonable for how personalized this service truly is. It doesn't have to be expensive to cremate your pets, if you use Mankato Pet Cremation you will see just why. I highly, highly recommend.

Wendy and Dr. Karen (Mankato Pet End of Life Services) were wonderful. Our Great Dane, Preacher, unfortunately took a sharp decline and needed their services. They didn't bat an eye about having to carry a 165 pound dog out of a split-level home (hello stairs), and were so kind and gentle. They made the process as comfortable as possible, responded and came on short notice, and let us and our other Dane have time to say goodbye. We asked about a companion cremation, and even with Preacher's size, Wendy was able to accommodate our request. Pickup of his ashes was quick and easy, and both Wendy and Dr. Karen were so kind, compassionate, and professional throughout the entire process. I'd recommend them both to anyone needing end of life services for their beloved pet.

Our beloved cat Sophie passed away very early in the morning. It didn't feel right just burying her in my yard. So I met with Wendy later that day to hand Sophie to her for cremation. She was very empathetic and respectful. I had the option of Sophie sharing the cremation with a companion animal from the humane society. In this case, a kitten. For some reason this was comforting knowing she wouldn't be alone. Sophie meant a great deal to us and I am very thankful for the utmost respect and care that she and I received from Wendy. ❤️

We can't thank Wendy enough for her compassion and help during a very difficult time. The situation with our dog Lucy became urgent early on a Sunday morning. Wendy took care of arrangements with Dr. Karen for us and we are so thankful that we got to say goodbye at home.

Yesterday was one of the hardest days my family has had and Mankato Pet Cremation more than came through. This isn’t just a business, this is someone with heart and soul who really cares. I was able to bring my beloved Floki the same day he passed suddenly and received a very personalized experience. I’ve only ever brought my fur babies to a vets office during these difficult times and had no idea there was a better way, a better place. It’s not a busy office building in the center of a city, it’s a peaceful country setting not far from a city where you can see the eagles fly and hear them sing, where your beloved pet will be handled with tender loving care, and so will you. You’re a person at Mankato Pet Cremation and not just a client. This will forever be who I recommend for the end of life services of anyone’s beloved fur babies, and also the only place I will ever take any of my fur babies when it’s time for that final goodbye. There should be an extra star added to the 5 star rating of this place.

Wendy helped us with our dog's cremation. We met at her property. She gave us time to say goodbye to our furry family member's body. She handled us with compassion in the moment. She kept in touch with us during the 4 days as she processed the cremation and urn preparation. She made it all simple for us which really helped in the midst of our grief. She arranged to meet us 1/2 way between locations so we could easily pick up the ashes. The urn is beautiful. She even did a pawprint. Her pricing is reasonable.We travelled 2 hours to work with Wendy vs going to the Twin Cities to a pet cremation facility. It was worth it! I highly recommend Wendy's services!

Extremely kind and caring. They were very flexible with timing and had great communication. I lost my first pet of 15+ years and they helped make saying goodbye easier. I got a beautiful urn and surprised with a mold of her paws. Highly recommend. Thank you!

I can't put into words how grateful I am to Wendy and Dr. Karen. These two allowed my big baby to go at home as peacefully as I could've ever imagined. They also let me stay with him as long as I needed after he was gone.....everything was just 10/10. I will forever miss my 90 pound shadow but I will also forever feel comforted thinking about how great Wendy and Dr. Karen were.

Calling Mankato Pet Cremations was a very difficult decision. Our JRT had reached the end of his journey, and rather than bundle him off to a vet's office we decided at the last minute to call Wendy instead. We're so glad we did. Wendy and Dr. Exline came out the very next day and saw our Cooper off in the most gentle way anyone could have hoped, at home in our arms. Wendy returned him to us in person a few days later in a gorgeous wooden box. It couldn't have been any better, given the circumstances.
