Paul is very kind and he took such good care of our baby boy. He was about to close for the week and he allowed me to come and drop off my cat that had just passed away, I will never be able to thank him enough. Not only did he go above and beyond on his service, but he was super empathetic and he even stamped my boy’s paw I to some clay for a keepsake for me. He included a beautiful poem that described our boy perfectly 🩵 I also deeply appreciate that I was able to get him privately cremated and then picked up his ashes same day. His services are also very affordable considering how much care and love he puts into his work.To Paul, thank you SO much for everything. On our worst day you gave us some light and healed a piece of the hurt. We deeply appreciate you.

Paul was very kind, sympathetic, compassionate and accommodating. It honestly felt better to be more directly connected with him as the provider of our cremation service. The other option would not have been as personal had we dropped off and picked up from our vet clinic even though we love our vet clinic too. The price was fair and affordable compared to some of the quotes we had received for individual cremations. Since our exotic pet, a quaker parakeet who has been with our family for 26 years, was rather small, Paul had prepared a special hand made "urn" for us to keep the tiny remains. We will absolutely tell everyone we know that Paul is best for assisting with end of life Pet services. Thanks, Paul!!

My baby girl Mia somehow fell ill unknowingly. She was only 2. However, she was put down on October 11th of this year. The cost alone was outrageous (animal hospital). I had no idea how I was gonna pay for a proper burial nor cremation. I just knew that I wanted my baby by my side always. LUCKILY, I ran across Paul. With VERY SUITABLE prices, I was able to get my baby INDIVIDUALLY cremated 🐾😇. She’s now back at home where she needs to be. THANK YOU SO MUCH PAUL!! Highly recommended! LOVE & MISS you Mia 🥰

When the time comes for you to say goodbye to your pet, go see Paul at Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery. It takes a special person to do this work. Paul is incredibly compassionate. He really understood the grief our whole family was experiencing when our beloved Sammy dog passed on. Also, we were happy we could support this reasonably priced, local, and vet-owned business tucked away here in Ypsilanti. HIGHLY recommend.

Paul was so kind, caring, and responsible with my baby girl. Thank you to Whispering Pines Pet Cemetary for the incredible support during a very painful time. Private cremation is extremely pricey, yet Paul is understanding of the difficult circumstance and offers THE MOST AFFORDABLE PRIVATE CREMATION in the area. You work in one of the most challenging fields, coming across the worst scenarios, yet you still put your clients first. Bless your heart. Basil was well taken care of in her final moments, and the transition home was made a little bit easier with your kindness, compassion, and empathy. The clay paw print was beautiful. If you are searching for a facility to treat your pet with dignity and respect, I recommend seeking their services. Paul is timely, reachable, and responsive. He discussed his many plans to provide a public euthanasia fund for those who cannot afford it. This is the type of business owner who is seeking support as they recently purchased the business. They deserve it, and it’s worth it. They are small and have amazing potential to grow. Please consider reaching out if you’re in the unfortunate situation of needing pet cremation services.

I recommend Whispering Pines in the highest possible terms. The owner Paul is kind, thoughtful, and does his level best to accommodate your needs in a very difficult time. The business is a small one that values individual service and has respect for the terrible loss you have just suffered. Paul is very open and transparent about the process of handling your pet and allows you to participate in whatever way you are comfortable. This is the way all pet cremation services ought to be run. For me there is no substitute for the certainty that I am taking my baby's remains home with me, and I thank Paul for his understanding. If you are in need of such services, you can't do any better, and you have my sympathy.

I wanted to give a shout out to Paul at the Wispering Pines pet cemetery. My guinea pig passed away today and he was very kind and compassionate. He digs each grave himself and each animal that needs to be cremated is done individually. Thank you Paul for such a positive experience in such a hard time for our family.

After calling multiple companies that offer end of life services with no answer, I called Whispering Pines. Paul answered on the first ring and was personable and caring. I felt this was the kind of person I could trust with my family's dog. Paul was true to his word and fid not try to upsell or take advantage. At the end of the day when going through such a difficult time Paul made everything simple and I would recommend his services to anyone in need of them.

My baby, Daisy passed away on Christmas Day. I called around to Pet Clinics, Hospitals, etc. No one was open. I found Whispering Pines Pet Cemetery ready to leave a message, when Paul answered. On Christmas Day, Paul was the most comforting. He took great care of Daisy and her remains.

Paul was absolutely wonderful at every interaction. He was kind, empathetic, understanding, and communicative. The weight that was lifted after our interactions, was very real. He took such good care of my boy, and keeps a very welcoming cemetery. It’s extremely peaceful, and free from any judgment. I would easily recommend anyone looking for assistance with what to do with their lost pet, to speak with Paul. I simply cannot say enough good things about his demeanor or his cemetery. Compassion all the way.

Paul did an absolutely amazing job! He let me have my final moments with my furbaby before he took her to be cremated and when it was time to take her home, he made a casting of her paw prints for me. Thank you so much for all you have done!

I recently lost my beloved cat of 13 years to cancer. Paul was there for me every step of the way. He waited late at night until we came back from the Veterinary ER to drop her off for the burial. He went above and beyond and made sure my sweet girl rested peacefully in the most respectful and beautiful way possible. Your pets are in good hands with him. I wouldn't want her resting anywhere else. Thank you again Paul for everything.

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!!From the minute I met Paul on the phone, to picking up my pet's remains it was an amazing experience.I was an absolute wreck when my dog passed away, and I came across Whispering Pines while looking for cremation services. I called to ask about the the services and procedures and the owner, Paul, answered the phone. He was so friendly, empathetic and understanding. He 10000% made this entire experience easier to cope with and get through. He listened to me cry and talk about her, he empathized and related, and made me feel better about crying so much in front of a complete stranger. I was even able to meet his little guy who is on the grounds with him.I told him that I was driving from a couple towns over, so he even went out of his way to make sure that if I was still in the area, I would be able to pick her remains up THE SAME DAY!! He had her remains wrapped up in a gift bag, and even included a paw print from my baby to keep.I will forever be grateful for the experience provided at Whispering Pines, and the healing that came from knowing my baby was taken care of in a respectful manner with so much care.If you find yourself heartbroken and in the same circumstances wondering who will take care of your beloved pet the way you need them to be, I PROMISE YOU THIS IS THE PLACE!

Our dog passed suddenly on a Saturday morning. We were devastated and had no idea what to do. Paul (the new owner) talked me through everything, and was so kind and thoughtful about the entire cremation process. We were able to get our friend home the same day in a tasteful urn, as well as saving multiple locks of hair, a paw print, and a nose print for an extremely reasonable price. Paul is a veteran who knows the connection and love we have with our pets, and was extremely helpful in getting through this process. I can't recommend Paul enough!!

We lost our special girl tragically and suddenly. Not knowing exactly who to call, we tried Whispering Pines. As I was leaving a message late Friday, Paul was calling me back. He dropped everything and met us to take care of our girl. I can’t express how thankful we are to Paul. He is compassionate and loving. If ever you find yourself needing his services, do not hesitate, you will be in good hands. Thank you Whispering Pines🙏🏻

The owner of Whispering Pines, Paul, is super attentive to the circumstances you're going through grieving the loss of a family member. I did a lot of research before settling on a crematory for my hamster, so I can say with confidence Whispering Pines has both unmatched pricing for private cremations and is by far the best option in the area if you're looking for a more honorable permanent resting place for your pet than a backyard burial. The grounds of the cemetery are lovely, well-maintained, and would be a peaceful place for your pet to rest. I had my hamster cremated, and received all the consideration, sympathy, and service that I might have received with a dog or cat--not a given for us owners of less common pets. Very grateful for my experience at Whispering Pines!

Our dog passed away unexpectedly and it was the worst thing our family had to deal with losing our fur baby!! Paul made the process smooth and easy and made us feel comfortable leaving our Rex with him, it is a peaceful setting and if you want the best for your fur baby after they are gone Whispering Pines is the place to go!! Thanks again Paul!!

My cat died who was maybe 10 or more years; I grew up with her and she was my therapy animal. I was devastated because her death was caused by a dog attack that pushed it's way inside. My family is very tight on money and only had so much to work with. I wanted her cremated and whispering Pines had a amazing price we could afford with our tight budget. When we arrived the pet cemetery was very neat and taken care of. All pets had flowers and headstones with their photos printed and a message picked or written from their families. The man we gave the remains to was very kind and understanding. He noted he would have her done that same day and could do paw prints. Because of our budget and situation he let us get them for free and we also got to see and pick her urn. The cemetery was very quite and peaceful and I definitely recommend this place for your animal

I recently got my cat cremated here. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. They have a beautiful cemetery if you wanted to bury your pet or the ashes. We discussed plans for the future and you can really tell the owner cares deeply for animals and their relationships to us. I HIGHLY recommend this company for cremation services.

This is THE best place to entrust the care of your beloved family member after their passing. Owner.. Paul .. has made a place to be able to honor your fur babies with his loving care of each individual situation that comes along..We lost out Sweet Dakota .. early morning of May 8th. 85 pounds.. Dakota collapsed and passed in his yard.. right on HIS spot… leaving us lost as to what to do. He was far too heavy for us to move him.. and there he lay.. in the elements . We were in a panic to take care of him .. asap.. we made a couple of phone calls.. no answer.. then finally called whispering pines and Paul answered. The situation was explained to him.. how we were unable to lift him.. adding we needed him picked up as well for Cremation. Paul..immediately made it very clear he understood completely.. rearranging his schedule right away to come get Dakota … leaving us so relieved. We picked Dakota up a few days later.. Paul made certain we had a paw print.. cutting of his fur .. and had placed him in a beautiful urn. We were and continue to be overwhelmed by his kindness. His emotions for the services he provides shine through.. his loving care.. unmatched from any place else we’ve ever gone to. When the time comes ..when you need help as we did.. Paul is you soft place to fall. Trustworthy.. kind.. all around nice man.Thank you again Paul.. we will never forget your kindness.. help and conversation.

The owner Paul is an ex- marine, so he holds his credibility. He made a very very hard experience flow easier. He really goes above and beyond. It was a relief for me to have him handle my dog, Neela’s remains. I am very appreciative of him and please if you’re looking for a cremation service, a burial service, or to just admire the grounds give him a call.UPDATE: After the whole process was finished and I received my girl’s remains, my mom told me that Paul had waited down the street for close to an hour to make sure I had time to say goodbye after euthanasia. I did not know this at the time so I did not feel rushed. He brought a stretcher and another person to help carry her body.

I lost my finch suddenly, and a friend recommended this location for cremation. I was worried she would be too small but it wasn't an issue at all.I've never had an animal cremated before so I didn't quite know what to expect and I admittedly did feel scared. Despite my fear and uncertainty, I was absolutely right to trust Paul. He truly respects and cares about the animals and people he works with, and had clear communication and was very open about the process. It's still hard to cope with the loss, especially trying to grieve and be so busy at the same time, but Paul and the love and care he puts into this work has eased so much of that pain.If you need after life care for your animal companion, I highly recommend you consider Whispering Pines. And again Paul, thank you. Thank you so, so much.

Honestly, I don’t have my pet buried here but seems like a shady place. We agreed on a price to buy a piece of equipment and 10 minutes before I arrived. They told me they sold it to somebody else.

Whispering Pines is an amazing place!! Very beautiful, quiet, and serene. I couldn't be happier with the place I chose to lay my best friend in the world to rest. The owner and caretaker, Paul, is truly amazing. If you're looking for someone to help you thru this tough process of losing a beloved family member and putting them to rest with comfort and peace of mind, Paul is your guy and whispering pines is the place. It's very obvious from the very beginning, and throughout every step of the process, that he truly cares about what he does and as an animal lover himself, he can fully understand the fragile time you're experiencing and does everything in his power to help you thru it so you feel very satisfied and comfortable with your choice to put your trust in him and whispering pines as your lost loved ones final resting place. From the first phone call to meeting him in person to burying my best friend and beyond, it was nothing but good vibes. I trust you will feel the same. He has a heart of gold that is very genuine. Thank you Paul for being amazing and making everything easier on me and looking after my goodest boy 🐾❤️

Beautiful grounds just outside of downtown Ypsilanti. I wanted to find the perfect spot for my Aunts’ 8 animals to rest. Whispering Pines fit all the requirements, and he even built a box so all the pets would be together in the communal grave. I’m so happy with the location, beautiful surroundings, and the customer service! And it made my Aunt at ease that her ‘babies’ were together too!

Paul a fellow veteran helped me a ton. This place goes above and beyond. I appreciate all your help. As sad as it is to lose a pet, please support this place.

The owner truly goes above & beyond accomodating his clients! & such a heart for animals that you can't miss. Makes for a good experience in rough circumstances.

When my beloved Budrow passed we called and Paul the owner just happened to be in the area and he came and picked my fur baby up and my Budrow was ready to come home in about a week. I went to go get him at Whispering Pines it's a nice place he had two of the cutes and friendliest four legged greeters you would ever want to know.I would recommend Whispering Pines.

My dog is placed in the communal area. The spot was perfectly marked and it was easy to find her final place. The grounds are gorgeous and peaceful. It's a perfect place to visit your pet and reminisce.

"I cannot thank Paul at Whispering Pines Pet Care enough for the compassion and support he showed during our time of need. After our fur babies, Leah and Wynton perished in a tragic house fire, Paul went above and beyond by picking them up from the animal clinic and preparing them for a beautiful casket and graveside service. His care and attention to detail truly meant the world to us during this difficult time. I highly recommend Whispering Pines for anyone looking for a professional and caring service for their beloved pets. Thank you, Paul, for everything."

They were incredibly kind and understanding during a terrible time. When I called the first time they said I could drop off my "Little Baby" whenever I was ready. They care about the animals in their care and I was able to pick up his ashes the same day I dropped him off. I highly recommend them if you ever need a little bit of kindness during a tough time.

They (Dee and John) were so kind and compassionate when our sweet Bella passed away 2-13-2020. We got there in the evening and welcomed us with open arms. Took time to go over the cremation process with me and my daughter. Got her on Friday, we got to split her ashes and got two dog prints for each of us. They are wonderful at their calling. I would recommend them to any person who has lost their fur baby!

One of the most difficult things in life is losing a beloved pet, especially after almost 22 years. We decided to use Whispering Pines for their cremation services. The owners, Dee and Tom, were two of the most caring and professional people at this very difficult time. We asked for same day service and they were very accommodating which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Whispering Pines to anyone considering cremation or burial services of their pets. Their burial ground were also beautiful and well maintained. Thank you Dee and Tom for making a difficult day a little easier. ~ Larry and Cheryl

My sweet boy Rocky passed away at home.. I wasn't sure what to do cause i had been dealing with financial struggles. Paul worked with me on a affordable price to get my boy cremated.. I really appreciate it and know that Rocky will be spread in a wonderful place..

We just buried our sweet Keeley today. I so appreciate having a place that is well maintained and peaceful. Dee and Tom are always accommodating and understand the loss of a beloved pet.

Was not very impressed with the way this cremation took place, we weren't given any paw prints or fur from their body like we have gotten from other places in the past. When I picked up my cat today as I was leaving nothing said about sorry for your loss or anything, most places include some form of a poem or a small plaque or something, nothing from these guys, appears they are just in it for the money. Our animals are just like family and treated as such, for $150 expected a little more than what I got, hopefully these ashes are really our beloved cat.
Roy Bedwell
We placed 6 of our beloved felines over the years. They have always been respectful and keep us advised of special days in the year. We will continue to use them in the future… We treated our pets as Family members and feel satisfied with this resting place.
Mark Pruitt
Love that it is locally owned, compassionate, and stress free.

What a shame of Whispering Pines, This is a sham of a Pet Cemetery. I just can't understand why they could not take the 2 extra seconds and cut a lock of hair or just a paw print? I am sure at that point would of paid extra need be!! The money I gave them to take care of my beloved dog you would think I would of gotten her back in a beautiful case, not a box that looks like a box that looked like a chines takeout box. There will be no next time for this sham of a company.
