I wanted to add my review of Faithful Companion to help any other people out there navigating what to do once their pet passes. I wish I had known more myself before having to figure it out in a very emotional state.My beloved Max passed at home on September 27 after more than 13 wonderful years on this earth. Originally, we had arranged for a euthanasia appointment that morning, but he passed hours before the appointment. When I called the vet to ask what I should do, they put me in touch with Faithful Companion, who handles aftercare for their vets.I spoke to a representative who was very kind and clearly talked through all my options. They gave me a window in which they would come get Max and I was called by the representative well before they arrived.When the representative came to pick up Max, they were also incredibly kind and did not rush us. We were given ample alone time with Max before his final car ride. I was told that we would receive Max’s ashes (plus other keepsakes I had ordered) within the next day so we wouldn’t have to wait.The evening following, Max’s ashes made it back to our home. Everything was packaged and presented beautifully.I would not hesitate to recommend their services and would use them again if I needed to. I felt cared for and that they cared for my sweet dog and treated him with respect and dignity.

From the first phone call to make appointment till arriving and waiting for our best buddy. They handled everything so caring and with compasion.

I want to commend Fatihful Companion for their service. My 12yo Roxie was returned to me on Friday 1/31. They gave me a paw print keepsake, and a beautiful wooden box with her ashes. However, what I'm most appreciative of was Bernard- the young man that brought Roxie home. He was incredibly kind and compassionate. It must be a tough job to greet grieving people, but he did it with care and grace. I would highly recommend this company.

We wanted to take the time to send a Thank You to Faithful Companion for handling our beloved Golden Tucker in such a dignified way. Although the arrangements were made by our in home vet the process was seamless and professional. . During this very difficult time it is so important to have compassionate and patient process like this. The lovely women arrived exactly when arranged and we were encouraged to take as much time as we needed. The communication was excellent and we were notified that our boy was returning home in less than 48 hours. Thank you again for providing such a wonderful compassionate service.

On 2/2/25 I called and Josh was empathic and offer his condolences on the loss of my rabbit. He told me Robin Lucas could come over and pick Sweetie up. I requested to see the person's drivers license before I would allow him in the house.Robin Lucas arrived and showed me his license. He was very professional and empathetic. I knew I could trust Rob.Both of these men are animal lovers. It showed in theirOn 2/5/25 Bridget and Ed showed empathy and compassion. Ed brought Sweetie ashes and footprint 👣 ♥️ over. He laughed with me about a story of Sweetie jumping up on a neighbor that had her food in the bowl.Bridget listened very attentively and was helpful when I asked her verify some information.

Edit:Updating my review. Faithful Companion reached out to me right after posting this review and delivered my baby to my house. My heart is still broken but happy she is home where she needs to be.Her paw print came out amazing. Thank you for this outstanding service of bringing her to me tonight.This is the second time using this company through my vet. First experience was amazing. This time around has not been. My baby went to heaven on Sat 12/28. I called the vet Tuesday 12/31 at noon asking about her ashes. They called Faithful Companion to find out where she was at and was told she was being delivered today. Vet let them know they close at 4. I called my vet at 3:40 and she still had not shown up. It is now past 4 I do not have my baby's ashes and I will now have to wait till Thursday to get her.

Our dear Mia left us on October 22. We had her for 21 years. Faithful Companion handled her cremation. She was returned to us on October 23 by a compassionate young man named Frank. We told him a little bit about her and he was legitimately concerned. Thanks to Frank and Faithful Companion.

I recently lost my best friend, Nemo, and I entrusted Faithful Companion with his cremation. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly caring, compassionate, and attentive. They answered all my questions and made what was one of the hardest experiences of my life a little less difficult.I brought Nemo in this week on Monday afternoon, and by Tuesday morning, I received a call that he was ready to be picked up. Thanks to Faithful Companion, Nemo is now back home and resting peacefully. I am deeply grateful for their kindness and professionalism during this time.

The vet we used for in home euthanasia works with faithful companion. I called to ask their process and how it all worked. They were compassionate and helpful. I added two prints to what I already was paying the vet for the package we got and they even said they take photos of the nose and paw in case I ever wanted to order jewelry with it on it even a year from now. He was hand delivered back home two days later. I felt very taken care of in such a tough situation. Highly recommend their service. The paw print, nose print and clay print all turned out so amazing. They took their time to make it perfect. I appreciate their kindness

We recently had to put our dear dog Rilo down. After looking up this company, We chose to go with them. Michaela was absolutely awesome during the entire process and answering many many questions and calls. They picked up Rilo from the vet and we were able to come and say our last goodbyes the following morning as well as bringing her brother Ralph to say goodbye. We were able to see the entire process through and Nathan was incredible during the whole process and even made sure that we were able to add somethings on the engraving of the urn before processing her and sending her home with us which was incredible to be able to do. There was such closure when we left. We never will go anywhere else. Thank you to you and the entire staff for an amazing experience and caring for our dear Rilo as much as we did.

She was brought home to us quickly in a beautiful urn with her name on it, accompanied by her pawprint in clay (display stand included), a bookmark with the rainbow bridge poem on it (which I will use with gratitude), a booklet about pet grief, and a brochure explaining their business and their process. I would also like to thank Haley, who returned our Pip to us. It has been several months since I lost my sweet boy and I still frequently think about the kindness I was shown at Faithful Companion. I believe it was Mary who did the intake, but everyone else I encountered were equally nice. They offered many options that would fit different budgets, and their hours are very accessible. This location was not very close to me, but I'd definitely make that long drive again if the need arises.

I lost my best friend on August 18th, 2024. She would be 19 on September 11th, 2024.A close family member recommended FC and said how amazing the process was during such a hard time.I called minutes after Roxy had passed. I had no words, my brain was foggy and couldn’t get out what I wanted to say.Mary answered and sat on the phone with me until I could gather all my questions. We didn’t know if we would bring Roxy in on the 18th or 19th and Mary said she would check for availability for same day.I called back a few hours later and asked if I could bring Roxy in. She double checked to see if I could get her back that night and I could.We arrived around 7-730 pm accepting that I’ll never see my baby again was so hard but FC / Mary were there and made the process of getting everything I wanted easy. We got paw and nose ink prints, a clay paw print and an engraved box. I bought a necklace to hold her ashes in months ago that I brought and they were able to put ashes in it but I could pick it up the next day or they can deliver it on Tuesday.After ordering we brought Roxy inside. She gave us time to sit with her and write her notes on the box I set her in and gave us space until we were ready.We waited roughly three hours. We went to a nearby park where I walked with her collar and talked to her.I got a call around 10pm that said Roxy was ready to be picked up.Everything was so beautiful and packaged very nicely.Two days later my necklace got delivered. The gentleman who dropped it off asked how I was and I cried and cried. We had a conversation about her and he said he was sorry and if I needed anything to call.Later that day I realized Faithful Companion didn’t treat you as just a customer, or that Roxy was just a dog.They treated her as a life was just lost and they were there for you.It’s been 10 days and it hasn’t gotten easier but I’m glad I have her by my side now every step I take.Thank you for everything as my life was turned upside down in minutes.I will forever be grateful for how easy everything went while I was mourning the loss of my best friend.

On December 4th 2024 our wonderful dog, Belle, who has been apart of our family for almost 13 years had a medical emergency that ended in euthanasia. Our hearts were shattered as we put Belle to sleep. We knew we wanted to cremate her and the vets office was very kind, helpful, and sympathetic in arranging cremation services with Faithful Companion. They picked Belle up from the vet that night and she was retuned to us less than 48 hours later. Her urn was engraved beautifully and packaged with care, along with her paw print. My family can’t thank Faithful Companion enough for their services in this hard time.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services for their kindness to my daughter Lacey <3 she lost her 2 cats that were just like children to her in a terrible fire that was intentionally set to her home, with the cats inside. It's been heartbreaking to even believe that we knew and cared for the person responsible, that was capable of this tragedy to innocent victims Kimchi and Fluffy Cat. Faithful Companion quickly handled the cremation service and provided what they were able to for us, at no charge! My daughter lost her beloved pets and her home. While they were fast with processing my girl. They did not deliver, did not call, and my girl sat there for 3 extra days until I called. If you use this company I would call every day or they will just leave your loved one to sit and wait. Also gave us an issue picking her up. With that she came home in a nice box.

I lost my baby, Tinker, on 11/02/23. Her passing was sudden & unexpected, & It has left me with a broken heart. The vet offered me the services of Faithful Companion. I would like to thank Faithful Companion for being so kind, courteous, & compassionate toward me during this painful time. Each communication I had with them left me feeling well cared for as a grieving pet parent, & the gentleman who delivered Tinker home to me was also very kind & compassionate. Faithful Companion made it possible for me to have Tinker's pawprint, and provided a beautiful wooden box with Tinker's remains inside. I also really appreciated the personal details such as the sympathy card, & the ability to create an online memorial for my baby on their website so that I could share Tinker & how much she meant to me with others. I would highly recommend Faithful Companion to every pet parent in the Metro Detroit area, they will take care of your pet in a dignified & respectful way, & they will help you to feel supported during the painful process of saying goodbye to your beloved pet.**EDITED TO UPDATE: 6 months later, I lost my other senior baby, Patches. She was 19. I came home from the doctor's office on 05/21, & found her in visible distress. I rushed her to the emergency vet, where I learned she was having a cardiac event, & there was nothing they could do to stop/reverse it. I made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye, so that she would not suffer anymore, & I held her in my arms as she crossed the rainbow bridge. Once again Faithful Companion handled the care of my baby after her transition. They delivered her home to me in just a few days, and now she's in her final resting place, next to my other baby, Tinker, who crossed the rainbow bridge 6 months earlier. Once again, Faithful companion delievered excellent, COMPASSIONATE service, & I thank them for that during this terrible time of loss, grief & mourning that I'm in.

Out vet recommended this company and I see why. This was a seamless process. The women on the phone was kind and patient while setting up a time to pick up our sweet Koda. They came exactly when they said they would and gave a 10 minute call before they arrived. They were able to complete the cremation and return her to us the next day!Thank you for being so professional and prompt!

Where to begin. My dog passed suddenly. I’m so upset that I didn’t get my dogs collar back. For the amount they charged for their services you would think they would’ve at least asked if I wanted it. When my daughter picked up her ashes and brought them to me I looked in the bag and it wasn’t there. My daughter called them and they told her they cremated it on her so short of going through her ashes, which I will do eventually I will find the buckle and O ring which are stainless steel and remains intact during the cremation process. In the mean time I will consider them liars. The paw print they sent isn’t even my girls paw print there is no way her foot would fit on that tiny plaque so $47 for something they just had in stock and I know this because her paw is much larger than the palm of my hand which she laid in my hand every night for 11 years! I’m so disgusted and disappointed. I will revisit this post to let you know if the remains of her collar are there as I paid for a private cremation.I don’t feel a need to call you this wasn’t my 1st dog being cremated by your company. I don’t need you to explain the process to me or listen to you try to justify why the collar wasn’t returned to me. As I said it was a private cremation and when I seen the collar wasn’t in the bag my daughter called you immediately and was told it was cremated with my dog, “probably went in the trash”. My other dog I wasn’t even asked if I wanted her collar it was simply returned to me with her remains. As far as the paw print it’s not hers it even has a line across the pad not to mention that her feet between her pads were full of fur/fluff. The damage is done!I expected you to say exactly what you said about her collar remains being removed from her ashes.It should be fairly easy for you to gather my information being that my daughter called on the 20th in the afternoon and spoke to one of your employees or possibly you about the collar!Maybe you don’t keep paw prints in stock but I know for a fact that the paw print I was given is not hers and adding insult to injury it looks like a really sloppy job with lines going through them “not her fur” look at the photo! and again her paw was much bigger than what you sent me it would have never fit on that tiny plaque! I do have proof of that…

My 16 year old dog did not wake up one morning. I had never had a dog pass away at home and had no idea what to do. My daughter found Faithful Companion as a solution. They came to the house quickly, and treated her as a member of the family. Ashes were returned in 2 days, and this was Thanksgiving week.I thank them for the respect shown and highly recommend.

I’d like to thank Faithful Companion and their many employees I spoke to for being so compassionate, professional, and understanding as I went through this painful process. Losing my beautiful girl was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through and I called WELL OVER twenty times to ask questions, make sure they picked her up, check the status of my urn, etc. Not ONCE did anyone ever sound annoyed or irritated, even when I called multiple times in one day. Pearl was never just a pet, she was my best friend in the whole world and I am so grateful this was handled BEYOND delicately. They obviously only employ good human beings with amazing hearts. I lost my Zoey after 13 years on the winter solstice. After rushing her to the ER vet, I had to make the most heartbreaking decision of my life. Everything about that night is a blur of pain and tears.Last night, Faithful Companion called me to tell me they were bringing Zoey home. On December 4th 2024 our wonderful dog, Belle, who has been apart of our family for almost 13 years had a medical emergency that ended in euthanasia. Our hearts were shattered as we put Belle to sleep. We knew we wanted to cremate her and the vets office was very kind, helpful, and sympathetic in arranging cremation services with Faithful Companion. They picked Belle up from the vet that night and she was retuned to us less than 48 hours later. Her urn was engraved beautifully and packaged with care, along with her paw print. If you use this company I would call every day or they will just leave your loved one to sit and wait. Also gave us an issue picking her up. With that she came home in a nice box.

I lost my baby, Tinker, on 11/02/23. Her passing was sudden & unexpected, & It has left me with a broken heart. The vet offered me the services of Faithful Companion. I would like to thank Faithful Companion for being so kind, courteous, & compassionate toward me during this painful time. Each communication I had with them left me feeling well cared for as a grieving pet parent, & the gentleman who delivered Tinker home to me was also very kind & compassionate. Faithful Companion made it possible for me to have Tinker's pawprint, and provided a beautiful wooden box with Tinker's remains inside. I also really appreciated the personal details such as the sympathy card, & the ability to create an online memorial for my baby on their website so that I could share Tinker & how much she meant to me with others. I would highly recommend Faithful Companion to every pet parent in the Metro Detroit area, they will take care of your pet in a dignified & respectful way, & they will help you to feel supported during the painful process of saying goodbye to your beloved pet.**EDITED TO UPDATE: 6 months later, I lost my other senior baby, Patches. She was 19. I came home from the doctor's office on 05/21, & found her in visible distress. I rushed her to the emergency vet, where I learned she was having a cardiac event, & there was nothing they could do to stop/reverse it. I made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye, so that she would not suffer anymore, & I held her in my arms as she crossed the rainbow bridge. Once again Faithful Companion handled the care of my baby after her transition. They delivered her home to me in just a few days, and now she's in her final resting place, next to my other baby, Tinker, who crossed the rainbow bridge 6 months earlier. My cat Gato suddenly passed this week from neurological issues at only 6 and 1/2 years old. His passing was very sudden and there was nothing the animal hospital could do to save him with how quickly his health declined. I was recommended to use Faithful Companions services for his cremation through the animal hospital, and in all honestly his passing has been one of the hardest experiences that I have had to deal with and using these services did not make it much easier.When I called to set up payment for his cremation the person I was on the phone with and I were going over how to receive Gato’s ashes back since I have never had a pet cremated before. When I asked to make sure they don’t just leave the box on the porch or anything like that because I was unaware of how they made sure I received my pet back, the person I was talking to made a joke about how that would be like “if my dad died and they just dropped him off on my porch” and that they don’t do that. I am not usually one to be bothered by jokes like this because I’m sure they were trying to be lighthearted and joke about it, but I feel like given the circumstances it just wasn’t really the time or place.While on the phone I was not informed about any of the extra services such as paw and nose print inking (which I would have happily paid for knowing they existed) as they do not show you this as an option in either the brochure or the website. I dug around on the website to make sure that I wasn’t missing it somewhere and I can not find anything that would point me towards knowing this was an option. I only found out after I received his ashes back today when there was a paper checklist on the bag that had the inking as well as other services listed, which was highly disappointing because I would’ve loved to have more of my cat to hold onto and now it is too late.Upon receiving my cats ashes, as I went to sign the tablet for the delivery service I realized that his paw print was left behind at the facility. The person who delivered my cat back to me was kind enough to call back to ensure they had it which they did luckily. I made the choice to drive to pick it up tonight because I have been having a very hard time dealing with the loss of my cat and upon receiving it I am just very sad with how much it looks like his paw was smushed into the clay slab. His paw was pressed into the clay hard enough that his claws popped through the backing and caused extremely thin spots where the toe pads are which makes me very nervous that it could chip through later on, I don’t know if they were just trying to intentionally place his dewclaw in the print (which I haven’t seen with any other animal prints in the reviews) or not, but it just seems not nearly as soft of a print press as the others I’ve witnessed from reviews because of this.Overall I have just had a very hard experience with the loss of my cat so suddenly and dealing with this did not make it much easier. I don’t say any of this in a way to be rude or to bash anyone or anything, but I just really wish things would have turned out differently with the services I received as it is too late to change anything that I have received now since my Gato is already turned to ash.

Our reason for working with Faithful Companion was due to the passing of our dog, Blitz. During one of the hardest moments in my life thus far, they were great. From answering my questions, to the patience extended as I struggled at times to keep my composure, the staff I had direct contact with were great. They were understanding, sympathetic, and kind. Blitz was home 2 days after his passing. Calvin delivered him to us, communicated his arrival time, and remained kind and respectful of our emotions during this very difficult time. This a service you never want to use but when you do you hope you're getting the best in terms of respect for your pet. I had to put my beloved dog down unexpectedly during a vet visit. I was so upset I couldn't even read the paper for the services and the nurse had to fill it out for me.It was only 1 or 2 days later when they called and said I could pick him up. I've had another dog cremated with a different service and it was fine but there's a definite quality difference. I got this beautiful box with his name, which I hadn't expected it to be engraved, and the paw print comes with a stand. It's a little touch that's extremely thoughtful. The remains come in a tightly wound up bag inside the box. The other remains I have only came in a bag and it's always felt very cheap. Theres also a book about grief, a condolence card.The quality of everything is so nice and there was just enough room for me to put his collar in the box.

Out vet recommended this company and I see why. This was a seamless process. The women on the phone was kind and patient while setting up a time to pick up our sweet Koda. They came exactly when they said they would and gave a 10 minute call before they arrived. Where to begin. My dog passed suddenly. I’m so upset that I didn’t get my dogs collar back. For the amount they charged for their services you would think they would’ve at least asked if I wanted it. When my daughter picked up her ashes and brought them to me I looked in the bag and it wasn’t there. My daughter called them and they told her they cremated it on her so short of going through her ashes, which I will do eventually I will find the buckle and O ring which are stainless steel and remains intact during the cremation process. In the mean time I will consider them liars. The paw print they sent isn’t even my girls paw print there is no way her foot would fit on that tiny plaque so $47 for something they just had in stock and I know this because her paw is much larger than the palm of my hand which she laid in my hand every night for 11 years! I’m so disgusted and disappointed. I will revisit this post to let you know if the remains of her collar are there as I paid for a private cremation.I don’t feel a need to call you this wasn’t my 1st dog being cremated by your company. I don’t need you to explain the process to me or listen to you try to justify why the collar wasn’t returned to me. As I said it was a private cremation and when I seen the collar wasn’t in the bag my daughter called you immediately and was told it was cremated with my dog, “probably went in the trash”. My other dog I wasn’t even asked if I wanted her collar it was simply returned to me with her remains. As far as the paw print it’s not hers it even has a line across the pad not to mention that her feet between her pads were full of fur/fluff. The damage is done!I expected you to say exactly what you said about her collar remains being removed from her ashes.It should be fairly easy for you to gather my information being that my daughter called on the 20th in the afternoon and spoke to one of your employees or possibly you about the collar!Maybe you don’t keep paw prints in stock but I know for a fact that the paw print I was given is not hers and adding insult to injury it looks like a really sloppy job with lines going through them “not her fur” look at the photo! and again her paw was much bigger than what you sent me it would have never fit on that tiny plaque! I do have proof of that…

My 16 year old dog did not wake up one morning. I had never had a dog pass away at home and had no idea what to do. My daughter found Faithful Companion as a solution. I’d like to thank Faithful Companion and their many employees I spoke to for being so compassionate, professional, and understanding as I went through this painful process. Losing my beautiful girl was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through and I called WELL OVER twenty times to ask questions, make sure they picked her up, check the status of my urn, etc. Not ONCE did anyone ever sound annoyed or irritated, even when I called multiple times in one day. I lost my Zoey after 13 years on the winter solstice. After rushing her to the ER vet, I had to make the most heartbreaking decision of my life. After Toby passed at OVRS on Sunday, the vet technicians offered services provided by Faithful Companions for cremation and paw print. Although we didn't have direct interactions with Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services, as they were arranged through our vet, we frequently called to check on the status of Athena's cremation. We brought our sweet boy to be cremated after he was euthanized. We promised him that we would stay with him every step of the way, and we stuck by our promise by witnessing the cremation. It was an incredibly painful process, but the staff at Faithful Companion treated our boy with respect. Erik was the one who performed the cremation. He was respectful, courteous, and transparent about the entire process. The facility was clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend Faithful Companion. They will give your fur-family the respect that they deserve.

Peach passed away unexpectedly on 04/02/23 at the animal hospital after finding out she had congestive heart failure. We’re devastated and our hearts are broken to lose such a special baby girl. I apologize for not remembering who dropped her off to me today, but he was so sweet and apologized for the loss as I started to cry when receiving her remains. If love could’ve saved all of these babies, they would be alive for forever. I can’t believe this process was so quick and sincere, thank you guys for everything. To Mr. Barry, the lovely man who dropped off my Piper this evening… Thank you for bringing my girl home safely & with love. You greeted my sister with her & waited for her to come before taking the next family member home. I was so upset I couldn't even read the paper for the services and the nurse had to fill it out for me.It was only 1 or 2 days later when they called and said I could pick him up. I've had another dog cremated with a different service and it was fine but there's a definite quality difference. I got this beautiful box with his name, which I hadn't expected it to be engraved, and the paw print comes with a stand. It's a little touch that's extremely thoughtful. The remains come in a tightly wound up bag inside the box. The other remains I have only came in a bag and it's always felt very cheap. Theres also a book about grief, a condolence card.The quality of everything is so nice and there was just enough room for me to put his collar in the box.

Despite the circumstances that connected with Ian - I HAD to take time to write a review. Unexpectedly, my dog died in the middle of the night. I had to take him at 3:34am (2/7) to say goodbye for good. The very next day Ian called to say that Foster was ready to come back home. They even delivered him so I didn’t have to figure out how I was going to drive while bawling my eyes out. I received his ashes in a beautifully engraved wooden urn, a beautiful ceramic paw print and other resources. It was heartbreakingly beautiful. I couldn’t have had a better experience. While it was something I definitely did not want to have to do - the time always comes when you lose your best friend. Faithful Companion was paramount to giving Bentley a peaceful goodbye. He passed away at home, we were able to make an appointment to bring him in ourselves. They did an amazing job with his ink and clay prints. I was beyond grateful that I never once felt rushed, uncomfortable, or like I wasn’t involved in the process. We opted to remain there for the entirety of the cremation to bring him home that day. The gentleman that assisted us was fantastic - he went above and beyond to make my fiancé and I feel comfortable, informed with each step, and felt respected and absolutely not rushed when we asked for some more time. We brought him in wrapped in a towel - they placed him in their box (which he made sure to ask if it was okay first), a bed, and nicely folded the towels we brought in and placed them in a bag for us. I felt very comfortable and that Bentley had been respected the entire time. Unfortunately a week after, my fiancé’s family lost their sweet dog, and I was more than happy to recommend Faithful Companion. I am so beyond thankful for the services you provide and for making this process as compassionate as could be. Bentley was my best friend of 12 years and throughout his life I was always so protective of him - everyone there definitely put me at ease knowing he was in great hands. They were the offered cremation service when I had to make that choice for my dog at the vet's last Monday and all I knew was I wanted him cremated separately and returned to me. Faithful Companion knew exactly what I needed. They offered more than a cremation service. They offer compassion and understanding in such a difficult time. Not only did they give us a clay paw print worthy of display, (and includes a stand for that purpose), but Cruisin's remains were returned in a beautiful wooden box, driven out to my home and hand delivered. Although we didn't have direct interactions with Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services, as they were arranged through our vet, we frequently called to check on the status of Athena's cremation. We brought our sweet boy to be cremated after he was euthanized. We promised him that we would stay with him every step of the way, and we stuck by our promise by witnessing the cremation. It was an incredibly painful process, but the staff at Faithful Companion treated our boy with respect. Erik was the one who performed the cremation. He was respectful, courteous, and transparent about the entire process. The facility was clean and well-maintained. I highly recommend Faithful Companion. Peach passed away unexpectedly on 04/02/23 at the animal hospital after finding out she had congestive heart failure. We’re devastated and our hearts are broken to lose such a special baby girl. I apologize for not remembering who dropped her off to me today, but he was so sweet and apologized for the loss as I started to cry when receiving her remains. If love could’ve saved all of these babies, they would be alive for forever. I can’t believe this process was so quick and sincere, thank you guys for everything. We have taken three of our beloved pets to Faithful Companion over the past several years. They were very kind and comforting during an incredibly difficult time. We were placed into a private room to say our goodbyes, and elected for the private cremation. Very comforted to know our pets weren't stored in plastic or frozen, and were cremated with the same care as humans. We received their remains within a day. Thank you Faithful Companion for once again handling the loss of another one of our beloved family pets, Fiona. Losing a pet is by far the worst part of having pets, but it is so comforting to have a service like Faithful Companion to rely on to help you through your time of sorrow.Our special needs Rottweiler, Fiona lost her fight with many medical issues this week. Faithful Companion sent Joe to our home to pick her up, and he was truly the most compassionate and kind person. Everything about Joe comforting and respectful. This place was great. The amount of care and compassion from all of the staff. I was devistated to lose my cat suddenly. They took my phone call at 11pm and talked me through their whole process and what to expect for cost. The paw and nose prints I received where so clean, no fur marks. I cannot say enough about Faithful Companion. Our Great Dane Harriet passed on 7-21-23 and she was delivered to us on Tuesday 7-26-23 in a beautiful box engraved with her name. *Pet owners looking for burial options, please consider the below in your decision making.*I purchased a communal cremation and burial service through an emergency vet after my cat suddenly passed away which outsources cremation and burial services to Faithful Companion. As I found out in the following days, the information card Faithful Companion provides about the service does not accurately explain the burial process.Here's the process as I learned it from someone who works directly with, but not at, Faithful Companion; your pet is cremated with many other animals, stored and when there's a truckload of ashes (every ~1-2 months), they are loaded and dumped into a mass grave via 5 gallon buckets at a pet cemetery.Yes, it's communal, that part is obvious from their information card, but the part I wish I knew and want others to be aware of is the handling and treatment of the ashes.If this method is OK for you, that's fine. However, I'm posting this so other pet lovers can understand the process better and make the best decision for them and their pet.

My Daisy went over the rainbow bridge on April 24th and Faithful Companion made the process so smooth and easy. They came and picked her up at our home and we got her back today (the 26th). We ordered a clay print and an ink print and they turned out beautiful. The urn they gave us came with the services we chose and its perfect. Faithful companion was amazing! We lost our cat Raptor unexpectedly which was hard. Faithful Companion was compassionate, patient through the tears, explained the process well and was so respectful. Losing a pet is by far the worst part of having pets, but it is so comforting to have a service like Faithful Companion to rely on to help you through your time of sorrow.Our special needs Rottweiler, Fiona lost her fight with many medical issues this week. Faithful Companion sent Joe to our home to pick her up, and he was truly the most compassionate and kind person. Everything about Joe comforting and respectful. This place was great. The amount of care and compassion from all of the staff. I was devistated to lose my cat suddenly. They took my phone call at 11pm and talked me through their whole process and what to expect for cost. The paw and nose prints I received where so clean, no fur marks. I didn't choose to have a private cremation, but Faithful Companion is just so wonderful I had to leave a review. My Keys died 2-1/2 weeks ago and I did choose the paw print and I know and trust that his cremation was handled in a dignified and caring way. When I picked up his paw print today (I had to wait until I was ready to do it), it came in a wonderful bag, with grief resources and a bookmark with the Rainbow Bridge story on it, a condolence card and the paw print - I have another paw print from another pet that is very plain and it's okay. But this one, his name is on it, the ceramic bone and heart are beautiful and it came with a stand too, and it looks so lovely next to his picture. The bag and the careful way it was packed made me cry because I know someone cared for him the way I did. I will never forget my buddy and I wouldn't hesitate to use Faithful Companion (any of the services) again. Thank you!

I have been in the veterinary field for 15+ years. For the past 10 years I have highly recommended Faithful Companions to many clients regardless if my clinic used their services or not. They used to be great, when the owners themselves would pick up.The staff now lacks empathy, sympathy, and compassion. I was blown away by how I was talked to by multiple staff members.I euthanized my dog on a Friday at 12pm. On Saturday at 1pm I had contacted Faithful Companions since they had not contacted me for payment yet. They were just picking up my pet. So much for same day transportation huh?On Sunday at 3pm (what happened to my pet being returned to me within 24 hours?) I missed a call from the carrier by 5 minutes. Called back. No answer. Called Faithful and talked with an aggressive and brash woman. I was in the process of telling the woman the situation when she cut me off abruptly to say “well I don’t even know who your dog is and they driver left the area so you will have to wait until tomorrow.”That is what someone wants to deal with after losing a beloved family member? Aggressive staff and waiting for your pet to be returned in an appropriate amount of time?No thanks. I’ll tell my clients, friends, and family to use another company.

All anyone can do is try to make the process just a little better, if at all possible and that is what Faithful Companions does.My precious dog’s remains were hand delivered to me the day after his passing. He was euthanized at home by Lap of Love and taken to Faithful Companions immediately. On a Sunday no less, and a wonderful Faithful Companions representative handed me his remains the very next day. Faithful Companion helped ease our grief when we lost our sweet little Yorkiepoo Pebbles. They came today, from 100 miles away, to our country home, in the middle of a blustery snowstorm, two days before Christmas, to take our baby to be cremated. My cat unexpectedly passed away 12/13/22. I spoke with an older gentleman named Frank on an error on phone number (I didn't notice at the vet) and then spoke with Terry who was trying to return him back to me but I was at work and then another Frank who delivered my sweet boy back home to me. This was my first time losing a fur baby, and they helped make this easier by just simply being kind and compassionate of the situation. Frank who completed the delivery even took the time to ask about how long I had him, what had happened. They truly care about the animals. We all know our babies don't live forever, but I hope I will be able to use them many years from now and still get the same great care. I now have my sweet boy home, and he was delivered with such care.

I had to say goodbye to my cat yesterday morning, and today he’s back home with me along with a beautiful paw print thanks to Faithful Companion. They quality and speed of service they provide is top notch, thoughtful and stress free considering the situation. Faithful Companion is an amazing, compassionate business whose employees clearly put their heart into their work. My partner and I missed the delivery driver dropping off our cat's ashes by less than ten minutes, so we called Faithful Companion and the driver actually turned around and delivered Teddy Bear's ashes to us within about 30 minutes of us calling. That driver is truly a hero to us, and Faithful Companion has our forever gratitude for their respect and helpfulness. As well, the small wooden urn we received Teddy's ashes in is of wonderful quality and clearly made with love and Teddy's memory in mind. Our dog passed away unexpectedly in early November at our house. I brought him here the next morning to be cremated, two days later they delivered his ashes in an urn along with his paw print. I can't recommend them enough, every person I met or communicated with along the way was very helpful and professional. They even offered a service where they can come and pick the pet up. The young man spoke of his experiences with the slippery roads and he told us that he would take good care of our baby. That gave us such comfort and we told him to be careful on his return journey. Faithful Companion is truly an amazing company. We have used the twice; the first time at the recommendation of our Veterinarian when our Loosie girl passed away in 2017. FC was more than accommodating to our wishes and had our girl delivered back to us within 24 hours. The urn they provided is beautiful and the paw print will be forever cherished. We just our Daisy girl pass away very suddenly at home and even though it was late (after 10pm), they were able to pick her up within an hour and will have her back to us by 5pm the next day. My cat unexpectedly passed away 12/13/22. I spoke with an older gentleman named Frank on an error on phone number (I didn't notice at the vet) and then spoke with Terry who was trying to return him back to me but I was at work and then another Frank who delivered my sweet boy back home to me. This was my first time losing a fur baby, and they helped make this easier by just simply being kind and compassionate of the situation. Frank who completed the delivery even took the time to ask about how long I had him, what had happened. They truly care about the animals. We all know our babies don't live forever, but I hope I will be able to use them many years from now and still get the same great care. I now have my sweet boy home, and he was delivered with such care.

I had to say goodbye to my cat yesterday morning, and today he’s back home with me along with a beautiful paw print thanks to Faithful Companion. Faithful Companion is an amazing, compassionate business whose employees clearly put their heart into their work. My partner and I missed the delivery driver dropping off our cat's ashes by less than ten minutes, so we called Faithful Companion and the driver actually turned around and delivered Teddy Bear's ashes to us within about 30 minutes of us calling. That driver is truly a hero to us, and Faithful Companion has our forever gratitude for their respect and helpfulness. As well, the small wooden urn we received Teddy's ashes in is of wonderful quality and clearly made with love and Teddy's memory in mind. These are people who truly understand how heartbreaking and difficult this can be. Our dog passed away unexpectedly in early November at our house. I brought him here the next morning to be cremated, two days later they delivered his ashes in an urn along with his paw print. I can't recommend them enough, every person I met or communicated with along the way was very helpful and professional. They even offered a service where they can come and pick the pet up. I opted to bring him in as I wanted one last time to view him before he was cremated.

The paw print, urn, sympathy card and a few other small tokens were all lovely. They had our Grizzy back to us the following day. They even brought him to us. I always had a pleasant experience with faithful companions when I dealt with them working in the clinic, so I was really sad when I felt like they didn’t treat my dog with the dignity he deserved. When my dog passed away, he was brought to animal control. I called faithful companions the next morning to arrange pick up, and told them where. I got a call the next day and they had a completely different city on their end for pick up. He was at Dearborn animal control, for some reason faithful companions had Taylor. Thankfully he was picked up before Dearborn AC closed. The next day I had to call and reschedule the time for his ashes to be returned because my other dog was still hospitalized and I needed to be there, they said okay and gave me a new time for the next day. Two hours later, the delivery person called me and said he was there and no one was home. I told him I had spoke to faithful companions and rescheduled, he was extremely rude and put out about it.The next day goes by, and no one has showed up within the new scheduled time frame. Faithful Companions called and asked if I was ready to set up a time - we already had one and they never showed up! They were apologetic, and I understand things happen but this was incredibly stressful and upsetting during one of the worst weeks of my life losing my pet. Disorganization dealing with pets remains isn’t okay. It’s even more frustrating that I asked for a clipping of his hair and the collar he was wearing given back wasn’t given either, one of the only keepsakes of my pet.

I would truly like to thank faithful Companion for the wonderful gentlemen who brought my Pepper Ann back home to me. I had to put my beloved girl down on June 18th. Lap of Love did the service and used Faithful Companion for her cremation. I was told to expect her back in the next few days. However, I received a call from one of the staff the next morning stating that Pepper Ann would be returned to me by the end of the day. The Young man I spoke to, I'm sorry that I can't remember his name, assured me that there was no need for me to hurry back home as I had planned to visit my father's grave for Father's Day and wasn't sure how long I may be. He promised that he would continue to touch base with me on how soon he would get to me. He even stated that he would be more than willing to stay an extra few minutes until I could get back to meet him and collect Pepper Ann if need be. I did receive a call back from him stating that he would not be dropping off Pepper's ashes to me, but another team member would. The other team member was his brother Michael, and he truly was such a wonderful, empathetic, compassionate and caring young man. I was just truly moved by both these young men. They just didn't speak the words, I felt the kindness in their words. I am forever grateful that Pepper Ann was brought back to me through these two young men. Thank You.

When our 12 year old dog Moose passed at home, we could've chose services closer to home, but we went with our vets recommendation and are so glad we did. I’ve used Faithful Companion twice. The first time was in 2013 and the second time was yesterday (2/14/2020). Both times the experience was exceptional. I can’t say enough about the compassion and kindness of this group. The man I spoke to on the phone a few days ago to set up the pickup was so nice and got all the information correct, including the spelling of my name and my dog’s name. Jacob came to pick up my pup. He was so friendly and did not rush us at all in any decisions. He treated my dog’s body with such gentleness and seemed to really care. Terry brought the cremains home to me today. I can’t say enough good things about Faithful Companion, even though I wish I didn’t need them. Losing a pet is so hard, but they make it a bit less stressful at least.

My veterinary hospital uses this company. I never had the option of cremation before when losing a pet. I lived in the country and usually buried them myself in the ground. But now I live in an apartment. My cat, Friday, had a sudden and unfortunate passing, after dealing with pancreatitis. Having the option to memorize him the same night using our vet really helped our transition and mourning. Now, I would personally prefer cat whiskers in the clay imprint, but that is neither here nor there. He was my familiar so I asked for them to engrave it with “Do my bidding!” on it. But honestly, Friday was his own cat. He did his own bidding, but it makes me laugh to read it. Here is a photo of my kitty alive and then the box with his remains and clay imprint. The coins are to pay for the ferryman and the locket has his fur in it. It took three days to pick up the ashes. Our city is about an hour away from Royal Oak. He passed Friday night (ironic given his name) and the vet called us on Monday. It felt good to carry my sweet boy home and give him a place among my flowers on the dresser in my bedroom. I would recommend this service because it saved us a lot of grief and time. I don’t think my partner could have dealt with us keeping his dead body until we found someone. The box was in a bag containing a Rainbow Bridge bookmark, booklet/journal to detail your pet’s life and memories with your own grieving process and other materials from Pet Cloud, which offers free meetings for people who are grieving their pets that have passed on. It’s a little on the pricy side for this country girl, but I feel it helped my live in boyfriend cope. That is really priceless to me.

When our little girl returned home we expected all the sadness to return. Instead it made us smile. Over the years we have taken 2 dogs and 1 cat to this place. They seriously treat you like it was your mother or father that has passed. Yesterday, my sweet pup K.W had to be put to sleep, my family and I are so heart broken over the sudden passing of our boy to a tragic accident. Faithful Companion was recommended by our vet's office, and considering the circumstances, we couldn't have been more pleased with their services. Staff were extremely professional and compassionate. The death of our beloved dog Zorro was sudden and unexpected, and they were able to come out the same night to pick him up and returned his ashes the next day as promised. When Zorro's ashes were brought to us the following evening, the presentation and delivery of what was brought to us was beautiful and thoughtful. Our 13 year old miniature schnauzer Lucy was put to sleep around 7 pm last night and Faithful Companion returned her ashes to me today around 5:15 pm. It's a hard decision to have to put an animal to sleep and then wait weeks to have them returned. Thank you Faithful Companion for being so caring and delivering her remains to my home less than 24 hours later. They put her remains in a simple but beautiful wood box, put it in a bag with a card and a beautiful poem about the Rainbow Bridge. My eighteen-and-a-half year old cat, who I have had and loved since he was a kitten, passed on Sunday night. Faithful Companion had his cremains and paw print delivered to me by Monday evening. However, the ER vet’s office spelled his name wrong on the paperwork provided to Faithful Companion, leading to my cat’s name being incorrect on both his paw print and urn. I called FC the next day, and they picked up those items from my house the same evening and had the new, corrected items dropped off to me the very next evening. The service was very quick, even with the spelling error issue, and they took care of the spelling error with no problem even though it was not their mistake.The package FC provides is very thoughtful, even including a grief guide with journaling exercises. The urn is a nice cherry colored wooden box and the paw print is really cute with two little red heart embellishments. The package also included a sturdy wooden stand that matches the color of the urn to display the paw print which I really appreciated. My cat’s cremains were in a sealed plastic bag inside a good quality cloth bag with drawstring.Everyone I spoke with at FC, from the receptionist who answered the phone when I called to the delivery people, were extremely kind and compassionate. The first driver I spoke with on the phone, Barry, exclaimed what a great name my cat had (Costello) and asked if he was a great kitty, which was sweet and made me feel good that he took an interest in my cat.This has obviously been a painful week, but I am very happy with the customer service I received and my overall experience with FC. Losing my boy after so many years together has not been easy for me, but Faithful Companion made sure this part of the process was simple and fast and that I was always met with kindness. Thank you.

Cant say enough positive words about their work. We helped our sweet Roxy pass with the aid of Dr Sarah through Lap of Love (who was equally amazing), and she let us know she went through Faithful Companion and that she wouldn’t trust anyone else with her own pets - they really do things differently there. This put us at ease right away. Roxy became an angel Friday evening, and we had her ashes back today, Sunday early afternoon. We called a few times, hoping not to be a bother or be annoying but just being the worried and anxious pet owners we are after going through something so traumatic. They helped us with kindness and even offered some reassuring words that we should try to have a relaxing evening and they’d take good care of Roxy. They hand delivered her in her beautiful box to us, and of course I started crying as soon as I saw them. It was quite a long drive for them as well for such a quick handoff but we are so thankful for this. While mourning our baby Roxy we both did not feel like doing much of anything, and the fact they can provide a delivery for someone hours away was amazing. Don’t hesitate to trust them with your beloved pets, they have so much compassion and care for what they do.

Two hours later, the delivery person called me and said he was there and no one was home. I told him I had spoke to faithful companions and rescheduled, he was extremely rude and put out about it.The next day goes by, and no one has showed up within the new scheduled time frame. Faithful Companions called and asked if I was ready to set up a time - we already had one and they never showed up! They were apologetic, and I understand things happen but this was incredibly stressful and upsetting during one of the worst weeks of my life losing my pet. Disorganization dealing with pets remains isn’t okay. It’s even more frustrating that I asked for a clipping of his hair and the collar he was wearing given back wasn’t given either, one of the only keepsakes of my pet.

My son lost his cat on 02/18/2021. My son is 18 years old and had the cat since he was 3 years old. The two of them grew up together and were the best of friends. My son searched Google for a company to do the cremation. Faithful Companion was his first call and they were amazing. They made a sad situation a lot easier. Nothing but pure excellence. In a dark moment for my family on July 4th, Faithful Companion was there, even at almost midnight! The compassion and care my dearest puppy and my family received from the moment the phone was answered until she was delivered back to me was more than I could ask for. I would truly like to thank faithful Companion for the wonderful gentlemen who brought my Pepper Ann back home to me. I had to put my beloved girl down on June 18th. Lap of Love did the service and used Faithful Companion for her cremation. I was told to expect her back in the next few days. However, I received a call from one of the staff the next morning stating that Pepper Ann would be returned to me by the end of the day. The Young man I spoke to, I'm sorry that I can't remember his name, assured me that there was no need for me to hurry back home as I had planned to visit my father's grave for Father's Day and wasn't sure how long I may be. He promised that he would continue to touch base with me on how soon he would get to me. He even stated that he would be more than willing to stay an extra few minutes until I could get back to meet him and collect Pepper Ann if need be. I did receive a call back from him stating that he would not be dropping off Pepper's ashes to me, but another team member would. The other team member was his brother Michael, and he truly was such a wonderful, empathetic, compassionate and caring young man. I was just truly moved by both these young men. They just didn't speak the words, I felt the kindness in their words. I am forever grateful that Pepper Ann was brought back to me through these two young men. Thank You.

When our 12 year old dog Moose passed at home, we could've chose services closer to home, but we went with our vets recommendation and are so glad we did. All of the employees of Faithful Companion were extremely compassionate and professional. I was able to spend as much time as needed saying my final goodbye and Moose was handled with care and respect. Moose was returned home to us the very next day again by a very compassionate employee who made the situation more comforting. We cannot thank them enough for their outstanding customer service.

Words cannot express the gratitude I have for the kindness and compassion Faithful Companion has showed my family during our recent losses. We lost our dogs just 12 days apart and the staff at Faithful Companion were so kind and patient with us. They preserve the memories of our beloved family members in a beautiful, and dignified, way. I’ve used Faithful Companion twice. The first time was in 2013 and the second time was yesterday (2/14/2020). Both times the experience was exceptional. I can’t say enough about the compassion and kindness of this group. The man I spoke to on the phone a few days ago to set up the pickup was so nice and got all the information correct, including the spelling of my name and my dog’s name. Jacob came to pick up my pup. He was so friendly and did not rush us at all in any decisions. He treated my dog’s body with such gentleness and seemed to really care. Terry brought the cremains home to me today. I can’t say enough good things about Faithful Companion, even though I wish I didn’t need them. Losing a pet is so hard, but they make it a bit less stressful at least.

My veterinary hospital uses this company. I never had the option of cremation before when losing a pet. I lived in the country and usually buried them myself in the ground. But now I live in an apartment. My cat, Friday, had a sudden and unfortunate passing, after dealing with pancreatitis. Having the option to memorize him the same night using our vet really helped our transition and mourning. Now, I would personally prefer cat whiskers in the clay imprint, but that is neither here nor there. He was my familiar so I asked for them to engrave it with “Do my bidding!” on it. But honestly, Friday was his own cat. He did his own bidding, but it makes me laugh to read it. Here is a photo of my kitty alive and then the box with his remains and clay imprint. The coins are to pay for the ferryman and the locket has his fur in it. It took three days to pick up the ashes. Our city is about an hour away from Royal Oak. He passed Friday night (ironic given his name) and the vet called us on Monday. It felt good to carry my sweet boy home and give him a place among my flowers on the dresser in my bedroom. I would recommend this service because it saved us a lot of grief and time. I don’t think my partner could have dealt with us keeping his dead body until we found someone. The box was in a bag containing a Rainbow Bridge bookmark, booklet/journal to detail your pet’s life and memories with your own grieving process and other materials from Pet Cloud, which offers free meetings for people who are grieving their pets that have passed on. It’s a little on the pricy side for this country girl, but I feel it helped my live in boyfriend cope. That is really priceless to me.

The compassion, kindness and care Faithful Companion had for our Cassidy can only be rated as infinite. Thank You Patti for helping us navagate this sad time in our lives. When our little girl returned home we expected all the sadness to return. Instead it made us smile. The little, tiny box with her name, The Rainbow Bridge Poem, and the sympathy card was a loving touch. The driver Nick, who delivered our precious cargo home, could not have been nicer. Over the years we have taken 2 dogs and 1 cat to this place. They seriously treat you like it was your mother or father that has passed. So caring and compassionate no matter what comes through their doors. I truly can't express my gratitude for everything they do. I recently ordered a necklace with our dogs nose on it and I sent an email on Christmas eve asking for the picture of his nose taken years ago. Christmas day they emailed me back...Christmas day! They should have been with their families but they still took the time to respond to me. I will never go anywhere else but faithful companion. ❤

My senior dog was euthanized at an emergency vet and I opted for a private cremation without knowing really any details about the company. I couldn’t even remember the company name or timeline as I was obviously very upset. I got a call less than 24 hours after he passed letting me know they were ready to bring his remains home to me. He was packaged beautifully and the driver was so sweet. I will definitely use faithful companions in the future!

After a difficult year of declining health, my boy Sammy crossed the rainbow bridge on Monday. It was really difficult saying goodbye to my best pal of 15 years. We lost our favorite and very beloved cat, Gandalf, very suddenly last night. No illness or strange behavior; he just laid down and died. Distraught, we searched for a cremation service and were pleased to find Faithful Companion nearby and well-rated. All five stars are deserved. The man who greeted us in the office late in the evening was kind and compassionate. He took time to relate with us and offer supportive words. Words cannot describe how incredible this place and these workers are. They are all so patient, caring, and understanding. This is not an easy time for anyone when they have to visit this business, but the compassion from the employees helps ease the process. They offer home delivery in which they contact you prior to coming and set up a time to drop off your lost companion, or vet clinic drop off so you can pick the remains up when you are ready. We unexpectedly had to put down our chi yesterday around 5pm which is obviously the end of the day and let alone a Friday. I contacted faithful companion, within an hour a driver was there to pick up our dogs remains. They made the process unbelievably easy at a very difficult time for us. We received the remains in less than 24 hours delivered to our home in a beautiful wooden urn and a clay paw print, both engraved with his name Chico. This company epitomizes professionalism and empathy as they truly care about the animal as well as the owners. They are a first rate company would recommend them without hesitation for your beloved animals needs.

Both of the drivers I interacted with were very respectful, asking about my pets (my dog came to the door to greet them) and letting me take my time with the paperwork. I was grateful that I was allowed to put my sweet boy into the box myself, and double-check all the information. His cremains were delivered the following morning, along with the paw print my mother ordered as a gift for me (which was done well, considering he was a hedgehog with tiny paws). I would use their services again and recommend them to anyone who asked.

When I Lost my Great Dane 3 days ago, unexpectedly to bloat I was devastated. I called them 10 mins before closing. They waited for me to get there. They were kind and professional. Her ashes were back home in less than 24 hours. The following night I had to put my English Mastiff to sleep do to seizures. Once again they came through. They made every attempt to make the process as easy as possible. They gave me the option to say my last good bye and that meant more then they will ever know. It was worth the drive.

My Veterinarian trusts and uses Faithful Companion and I definitely know why. They are the most thoughtful, compassionate and professional people who go above and beyond to make a customer feel that their pet is their first priority. It's horrible in and of itself to lose a beloved pet, but when you have folks like Faithful Companion, who take excellent care of your "loved one" it definitely makes it easier. Their urns and products are beautiful. I tragically lost my cat "Maisey" but they brought her home in a beautifully crafted Urn within 24hours which meant a lot to me. I am so grateful to them...

Yesterday, my sweet pup K.W had to be put to sleep, my family and I are so heart broken over the sudden passing of our boy to a tragic accident. Faithful Companion is absolutely by far the most compassionate and kind individuals. Less than 24 for hours later they have K.W back home with us. Jake delivered K.W to me today and on the phone he was so compassionate and accommodating, he did not refer to K.W as anything less than a member of my family. Faithful Companion was recommended by our vet's office, and considering the circumstances, we couldn't have been more pleased with their services. Staff were extremely professional and compassionate. The death of our beloved dog Zorro was sudden and unexpected, and they were able to come out the same night to pick him up and returned his ashes the next day as promised. When Zorro's ashes were brought to us the following evening, the presentation and delivery of what was brought to us was beautiful and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a cremation service for their pet.

Faithful Companion was recommended by my vet in Ann Arbor and I’m so grateful to them for the kind and professional manner in which they picked up my sweet cat Buddy. My Great Pyrenees died unexpectedly last night. My son found them for us at 1am. When I called this morning I was greeted with compassion and professionalism. They had someone out in 2 hours to take him. I am grateful for their service so far as this has been absolutely devastating to our family. Our 13 year old miniature schnauzer Lucy was put to sleep around 7 pm last night and Faithful Companion returned her ashes to me today around 5:15 pm. It's a hard decision to have to put an animal to sleep and then wait weeks to have them returned. Thank you Faithful Companion for being so caring and delivering her remains to my home less than 24 hours later. They put her remains in a simple but beautiful wood box, put it in a bag with a card and a beautiful poem about the Rainbow Bridge. I highly recommend this compassionate and caring company to everybody!

My eighteen-and-a-half year old cat, who I have had and loved since he was a kitten, passed on Sunday night. Faithful Companion had his cremains and paw print delivered to me by Monday evening. However, the ER vet’s office spelled his name wrong on the paperwork provided to Faithful Companion, leading to my cat’s name being incorrect on both his paw print and urn. I called FC the next day, and they picked up those items from my house the same evening and had the new, corrected items dropped off to me the very next evening. The service was very quick, even with the spelling error issue, and they took care of the spelling error with no problem even though it was not their mistake.The package FC provides is very thoughtful, even including a grief guide with journaling exercises. The urn is a nice cherry colored wooden box and the paw print is really cute with two little red heart embellishments. The package also included a sturdy wooden stand that matches the color of the urn to display the paw print which I really appreciated. My cat’s cremains were in a sealed plastic bag inside a good quality cloth bag with drawstring.Everyone I spoke with at FC, from the receptionist who answered the phone when I called to the delivery people, were extremely kind and compassionate. The first driver I spoke with on the phone, Barry, exclaimed what a great name my cat had (Costello) and asked if he was a great kitty, which was sweet and made me feel good that he took an interest in my cat.This has obviously been a painful week, but I am very happy with the customer service I received and my overall experience with FC. Losing my boy after so many years together has not been easy for me, but Faithful Companion made sure this part of the process was simple and fast and that I was always met with kindness. Thank you.

Cant say enough positive words about their work. We helped our sweet Roxy pass with the aid of Dr Sarah through Lap of Love (who was equally amazing), and she let us know she went through Faithful Companion and that she wouldn’t trust anyone else with her own pets - they really do things differently there. This put us at ease right away. Roxy became an angel Friday evening, and we had her ashes back today, Sunday early afternoon. We called a few times, hoping not to be a bother or be annoying but just being the worried and anxious pet owners we are after going through something so traumatic. They helped us with kindness and even offered some reassuring words that we should try to have a relaxing evening and they’d take good care of Roxy. They hand delivered her in her beautiful box to us, and of course I started crying as soon as I saw them. It was quite a long drive for them as well for such a quick handoff but we are so thankful for this. While mourning our baby Roxy we both did not feel like doing much of anything, and the fact they can provide a delivery for someone hours away was amazing. Don’t hesitate to trust them with your beloved pets, they have so much compassion and care for what they do.

My Daisy passed away on 12.20.2021. My vet euthanized her and gave the body to faithful companions. In honor of Daisy and her memory, I would like to thank these individuals for their respect and kindness. They gave me her paw print and little urn that says ‘Daisy’. When I Received her ashes I could still smell her scent… thank you, everyone. I believe Daisy’s body was in great hands and care. Thank you for giving me a piece of her- something I can remember for the rest of my life.

I lost my little girl unexpectedly. I was desperate to find a pet funeral home that would return her home to me promptly and treat her with the utmost care. I reached out to Faithful Companion early in the morning and was relief to know they could take my little one the same day. When my family and I met with the gentleman he was very welcoming, kind, and thoroughly walked us through the entire process. We were initially told it could take up to 24 hrs to get my baby back. A second gentleman personally delivered her ashes to my home and had her back the same day! I opted to get a special urn which they did not have in stock and had to order. A third gentleman also personally delivered the urn the following day and transfered her ashes into it. My family and I will be forver grateful for the care, respect, and prompt service we were provided. Thank you for taking care of my little one til the very end. I would HIGHLY recommend their services to everyone! 💞😻💕

In March, I lost my little girl at 17 years old. I don’t remember life without her. We had her euthanazed at home, and then the vet took her remains in his “hearse” to Faithful Companion. I wanted her cremated in her bed with the pink flower I sent with her, they said that wouldn’t be a problem. They brought her ashes back the very next day, delivered by hand by a very sweet gentleman who let me talk to him for a long time about Kitty. The ashes are in a beautiful maroon wood box. And I’m sure that it’s her because they use a metal ID tag when the animal is put in. The box came with a wonderful card and information about the service. Highly recommend. I felt they respected her and handled the situation just as kindly as expected for human cremations. ❤️

My cockatiel very suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. It was 9:30 pm and we were devastated, we didn't know what to do and our vet didn't do autopsies. We called Faithful Companion and in an hour someone was there to take our precious baby to be cremated. Not even 13 hours later we had our baby's ashes back, as well as a beautiful imprint of his feet. The drivers were curtious, compasionate, and helped make this awful experience a little easier. Very suddenly we had to put our beloved Bella Bear down. Faithful companions welcomed us in and treated us with so much respect and compassion. It made things not as dreadful.
