My mom passed away from complications of Alzheimer's, the staff was so nice and helpful. Hanna answered all our questions, let us make all our decisions and didn't push anything on us.When my Mom passed she didn't look good but they made my Mom look like herself (beautiful).I couldn't say anything bad about the Taylor location. They were extremely professional and kind after my mother's passing. They helped me through the paper work and the funeral, I can not say enough. All of the staff was very helpful, and understanding to my wishes. Hard to put a price on a loved ones arrangements but the price was very fair. They also did a few follow ups as they understood I was alone and their concern was heart felt. They were there in my time of need and I will never forget that. Than you.

The experience of putting our loved one to rest was, by far the hardest thing we had ever had to do. We, as a family recived genuine kindness, respect and tenderness from the entire staff from Howe Peterson in Taylor. We want to thank everyone for their support and professionalism. Even when we made last minute changes to the music and the procession, everyone jumped on board and made the changes perfectly. My husband Jerry Lee passed away January 29 this year. What was the most difficult time of My Life and My five children. The entire staff was so kind to us. But we were taken into a room with Sidonia, Jim, and the Director Chad where they were so patient and understanding to all of our needs and allowed us as much time as we needed to come together on decision making. They would listen to all of our humorous stories about My Husband. Their Father. Never rushed us and actually felt as they enjoyed every word we were saying. I never expected that this experience you never want to happen to actually leave feeling very good about getting the best care possible for your loved ones Celebration of Life. It was recommended to me when my son passed away to call around and check out pricing of funeral services. Obviously during a difficult time that does not sound ideal, but makes sense as funeral planning can be expensive. I called Howe-Peterson in Taylor first and I spoke with a few people and with the information they supplied to me and the care they were giving me, I could tell that was the place to help care for my son during these final moments. They were patient, attentive, and there for my every need. Everyone who works there is always looking to see how they can help even well after the services have ended. I highly recommend Howe-Peterson.

My father passed away late Friday afternoon (9/2/2022). We had a meeting with David A. at 1pm Saturday and the visitation at 3pm Sunday, all during Labor Day Weekend. David helped us through the process quickly so could notify family and friends of the arrangements. He was helpful with the music and pictures and setting up our memory items around the room. My family was very impressed with the caring and compassion of staff members. There was no other family there that Sunday and we appreciated them giving up their day off on a holiday weekend to accommodate our situation. Very professional!

Today on Angel Baby day, I want to share our story and how this funeral home got us through it.I was 13 weeks pregnant when we learned our sweet baby girl, Ada, had Trisomy 18. Tests were done to confirm our worst fears. Almost 16 weeks in, we officially lost her. One of the hardest parts was not knowing if we could bring her home, and that's when we called Howe-Peterson.We were matched with their funeral director, Scarlet. We met, sitting around a table in a quiet and private room. She made us laugh, she let us cry. She treated us with respect. Going forward, she called and updated me every step of the way. She personally drove to the hospital where we lost our daughter, and she let me know she was safe in her care. Scarlet communicated with me every step of the way. When all was said and done, we were brought to a beautiful room so we could finally take our daughter home. They gave us all the time we needed to mourn.In the proceeding months, Scarlet contacted me multiple times. Just simply to ask how we were doing, how I was doing. Offering her support. Listening to a freshly grieving mother. It went beyond the service we expected, I can't tell you how much I really appreciated that. When the rest of my world seemed to move on, while I was still stuck on the day September 14th, 2022, it was nice to have her reach out and acknowledge our pain.The other day, now almost a year later, I was able to reach out to her again. This time with good news, as we have just recently welcomed our second daughter into the world. And you bet, Scarlet remembered us. This funeral home takes their business incredibly seriously, amazingly professional and courteous. Thank you Scarlet, and thank you Howe-Peterson, for everything. ♡

My Uncle was cremated and I expected to have him handed to me in a bag. Howe-Peterson placed him in a viewing room on a nice pedestal with a candle. They gave me a few moments with him. That was really appreciated and when I showed my mother, it gave her comfort knowing that he was not just thrown in a bag to be taken home. Howe-Peterson is patient, caring, and compassionate. I would recommend them for your funeral service needs.

Nice people but it is nothing but robbery. If the state allows the funeral business to keep robbing people with their greedy and I mean GREEDY prices then I doubt they will be around much longer.

When my Ex-wife's Brother passed away we had the services handled by Howe-Peterson Funeral Home and Tim Schram. Although it was a Final Event, it was handled so well and the family was very pleased with the care and compassion shown by the Howe-Peterson Staff. From the selection of the Casket, to the retrieval of the body and preparation, to the Service and Internment, they handled everything. I'm using Howe-Peterson to Pre-planned my Final Event, hopefully not needing it for a long time but secure in knowing that when my time comes a phonecall will be all that's needed to lift the burden off my survivors.

The staff. We're very rude toward me. Glad I won't be back. My body is going to science one day.i was asked to leave my own brothers funeral. Over things other ppl caused. There.basically. im.not worried about it. Ok. Its not your fault that people at the funeral didn't know how to act. Apologies accepted.

Awesome people here. I made a slideshow for my late grandmother's viewing & it would not loop no matter what edits I made. The workers there manually hit the start button every time the slideshow ended for at least 4-5 hours of the viewing and I could not thank them enough for going above and beyond. Highly recommend.

It's appalling how many times they call you trying to sell other services to you after already spending thousands for a funeral service. A majority of the money you spend here goes to paying people to call you in the future. I've probably received a couple calls a month almost a year later. Always trying to milk money out of the people who do business with them.
