Last week my cat Sunny passed away. I called pet passages to take care of his cremation. His passing has been extremely difficult for me, and I would just like to thank this Pet Passages for taking care of my boy in such a respectful and speedy manner.Everyone was so kind and understanding. I wasn't pressured into a more expensive package than what I wanted. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell to me. Every employee I came in contact with was overwhelmingly kind. They treated me, my family, and most importantly my pet with so much respect and care. They also added many extra gifts with no extra charge, overall service was not expensive at all. Very grateful for Pet Passages.

I've waited a long time to post this because my cat was the love of our lives and I'm still mourning her. But I could not have asked for a better experience than the one I had with Pet Passages. The owner and his wonderful staff were beyond and kind and compassionate. As pet lovers themselves, it felt truly genuine. There was no hard sell or upsell at all. I had to make the excruciating decision to put my girl down today. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to have it done at Passages, but upon walking in the building and seeing the rooms, I wish I had. When I brought my baby in, they let me say goodbye to her in an extremely warm, cozy room. The gal helping us was SO kind and considerate, and made me feel better just talking to her. The pricing here is unbeatable and I was able to bring her home in a beautiful urn and her ashes in a pendant (that I plan on wearing everyday.) This is a family owned establishment and I felt welcomed immediately. Thank you Pet Passages for helping me navigate through this painful time of my life. You will not regret bringing your baby here.

Both of my pets passed away in November, and I'm only now able to pull myself together and write a review. It was devastating to lose two pets within three days of each other, but I received such kindness from Pet Passages that it made a terrible moment in time go by more smoothly. They replied quickly to messages and were very caring when we were in the office. At such a low point in my life, I really appreciate their compassion, kindness, and honesty. I can not say enough about the care and compassion shown during an incredibly hard time for our family. We lost our beautiful dog Sadie in the midnight hours and was not sure where to take her that morning. I came across Pet Passages and sent a text before they were even open. They responded immediately and we were able to bring her there shortly after. From our arrival and drop off to the pickup of our puppy was absolutely incredible, I was updated on Sadie's progress through the entire cremation process and shown such care when we picked her up. I would recommend them a million times over when dealing with a loss of your beloved pet. Thank you so much Pet Passages ❤️

I could not have asked for a better experience at Pet Passages. The staff treated my family's bearded dragon, Bruce, with the same respect and kindness that they would for a larger pet. The staff were even able to make us a print of his scales instead of the standard nose print they make for their customers. If I could give this Pet Passages a 6 or 7 stars I would. Our dog was given a terminal diagnoses last Tuesday, by Sunday morning we knew she wouldn't last much longer. As we we calling the vet we also contacted Pet Passages and even though it noted closed on the website Bob called us back and helped us with the details. As we were preparing to go to vet she died. We called Bob back and he helped us complete the required information. When we arrived he was so thoughful and treated our dog with the utmost of care and compassion with moving her from our vehicle to the rainbow room. He then sat us down and explained the process on how things would go with the package we decided to get and then said we could stay as long as we needed in the rainbow room. After a while we left and we got the step updates just like he stated. Her remains were ready yesterday and we picked them up. Again outstanding customer service and everything was there as he stated it would be. If you are looking for a pet cremation service this is the place you need to go to. You will not regret your decision.

Everyone here was so kind, professional, and respectful. We brought our baby in for a cremation and we also got the option of getting her clay paw prints. I took a minute to review but my fur baby, Coco, passed in early May of 2023. I was so heartbroken and didn't want to burry her because the fact I won't live in the same house forever was killing me, I knew cremation was definitely the best option. It was extremely last minute but my dad had found this place on the internet for pet cremation. When we arrived, the enterance was so welcoming and so pretty inside, and the staff ladies that were there was just so warm welcoming too and so understanding. It reassured me that Coco would be okay.When we ordered our items, the price was relatively cheap and so my dad ordered a good amount of items to remember Coco. This place did such a beautiful job creating her lil clay paw prints piece as well as the photo frame that it came with, while they printed the photo for you of your fur baby. Her ashes were put into this cute little velvet back, with a little card.Just overall such a beautiful company and a very welcoming and stress-free environment. Thank you all so very much :,)

Bob & Wendy are great people.We were here in April to put down our sweet dog, Bentley and it was such an intimate, calming experience during such an awful time to have to put him down and their staff was great at helping us navigate.Only 4 months later now in August, we have lost our sweet puppy, Maisy, unexpectedly. She passed away at the animal hospital and I was so worried about where she would be sent off too. I called and Wendy assured me not to worry, they went to pick her up and brought her there and once again we so kind and great helping us through this and taking care of one of our babies again.This year has been tough and I am so thankful for them. They truly care for your pets, every single one of them.

After losing my best friend of 6 years unexpectedly I had no idea what to do. I didn’t feel right burying him and I wanted him cremated. From the moment I called to the moment I picked my boy up I knew he was in good hands. They walked me through everything when I got there since he was small enough for us to bring in ourselves. They were so calm and peaceful the entire time. I ordered the package for $230 which gave him an urn box, a private cremation, his nose and his paw prints. I was only expecting the box to have his name on it but they put his paw prints on there as a little bonus for us. We ordered the photo frame with his paw prints in them as well for an extra $40. Thank you guys for all that you’ve done for my family and bringing us peace in this situation 🐾🕊️

This is how it should be. The euthanasia experience was calm and intimate, just what we wanted!!! We couldn’t imagine losing her in a cold vet office with other dogs barking and doors constantly slamming shut. The room was so perfect, and even walking in the atmosphere is everything you would want while going through something awful like this. So so grateful for Pet Passages. 100+ Stars. Pet Passages has been incredible, and I am so thankful I found them. After we lost our Sassy girl kitty, Pet Passages was already closed for the evening, yet they still responded to my text, and were so kind. Upon dropping our sweet girl off, Kristy was sympathetic, handled Sassy as if she was her own, and truly just made us feel as comfortable as one can during such an emotional time. We felt so confident leaving her in their care. Wendy helped us when we picked her up, went over everything, and was just so full of love and warmth. Her paw prints, clay, nose print, and engraved box, are all perfect, and we now have a beautiful way to remember our Sass all thanks to Pet Passages. Pet Passages provided our family with love, compassion, and comfort when our sweet Sadie passed away. Bob came to our home and was so professional and understanding. He took the time to share his story and really connect with us. I genuinely knew Sadie was in good hands and would be cared for. Their online portal has a variety of resources and allowed us to see the stages of Sadie's time while in their care. It gave me peace of mind knowing what was going on. When we picked Sadie up, the ladies in the office were so caring with us and our children. They helped us navigate talking with our children and had materials for them as well. Don't look any further for a pet cremation service. These guys are THE BEST in the industry! I worked as a Veterinary assistant, and had heard their name before, but I didn't know how truly amazing they were until I had to use their services. Your beloved pet will be treated with dignity, and you will always know what is happening at all stages. Bob walked me through all their packages and Jamie helped me through the difficult process of picking my baby up. Their prices are very reasonable and they have different options for your financial abilities. I cannot say enough good things about them. Thank you for making this process easier. What a blessing this place was!! Lost my girl Macy one week ago and was referred here by a friend! Had originally scheduled her euthanasia at the vet but last minute my son couldn’t make it - they made it happen so we could be there as a family to peacefully say goodbye to our beloved pet after 13 years! Toughest thing I’ve ever done but the staff/owners were amazing and so patient! I knew my girl was in good hands as we left! I was also concerned about the price and could not believe how affordable it was! She will be forever in our hearts and now finally can rest on the table!

I know I’m not the first, nor will be the last to recommend Pet Passages - Livonia, MI Dignified Pet Cremation. Our 13 year old dog passed away in our home Sunday afternoon and my friend urged me to call them, and I’m so glad I did! Owner Bob was so compassionate and took his time explaining everything to me and even came to our home to pick Bones up. He had wrapped him in a soft purple blanket and positioned him so myself, my husband, and son could say a final goodbye. When it was time to pick him up, he sat with us and let us cry as long as we needed and presented us with such wonderful keepsakes, and even a special plaque just for my son. He memorialized Bones in such a loving and compassionate way. Anyone who has lost a pet or has to make the tough decision to put them down please give them a call, their services really made a difference and helped us with the loss. 💕🐶

Our beloved Yorkshire Terrier passed last Sunday, and we weren’t quite sure what to do, so I did a Google search and found Pet Passages. Wendy was empathetic and gave us instructions on how to care for Quizzle and what paperwork to complete until we could bring him in the next morning.When we arrived, Kristy welcomed us, expressed her condolences, and explained the service we had selected and the timeline to receive cremains. Then, she offered something I hadn’t expected: a private visitation to say our final goodbyes.As we entered the room, she explained pets are royalty, so Quizzle was laid out on a purple pillow and covered to the shoulders in a purple blanket. She positioned him to make it look as though he was peacefully resting. THIS was the way we wanted to remember him, not the vision when we found him after we awoke Sunday morning.Wendy called on Wednesday to advise us Quizzle’s cremains were available for pick up. Pet passages was absolutely amazing! I lost my sweet Rosie unexpectedly a day after her 5th birthday. This place was more then I could have ever hoped for and gave my girl the dignity and respect that she deserved. My heart was crushed when she pasted, but pet passages made the experience just a little bit easier. They were so kind and empathetic. We had a beautiful viewing in the rainbow room to pay our final respects. When we picked up my girl, I got her paw prints, a nose print, her ashes in a beautiful velvet pouch, and a biodegradable heart with seeds in it that we can plant in the ground. Our oldest cat Piper suddenly passed away on Saturday morning. We didn't reach out to Pet Passages until 3am Sunday morning, while I was having a panic attack over what was possibly happening to Piper because we had her buried originally. Christie contacted me right away the next morning and was super helpful and informed me that it was not too late to have her cremated as I had originally planned for (her being buried happened very quickly). When we went in to drop her off, Christie helped us and was very wonderful and while I was shutting down mentally in the chair, she gave me my space and spoke with my husband instead (which was very helpful). They allowed us to say goodbye once last time and that if we wanted, we could stay as long as we liked. I did call multiple times over the period of those few days and when the phone was answered, they were extremely caring and gentle and never seemed annoyed by my questions. I wasn't sure on the color of the stone for Piper's pawprints (I wanted either Sapphire for her Birthday month or Diamond for her adopted month) and they were able to surprise me with one of the colors. I was a bit late when I finally decided that I wanted to do her birthday month so that I could continue this in the future with my other pets, but decided that I would let it be whichever it was to be. Upon picking her up, Bob helped us. I do want to apologize to Bob because I rarely interacted with him and the moment he had set down her fur clipping, I snatched them up before his hand had time to go back behind the desk. I was thinking about how I just wanted to hold her or pet her the night prior and it was a lot more fur than I was expecting. If you are having a very hard time getting over your pet, definitely get the fur clippings. I held and stared at it for hours but it helped immensely in keeping me calm.Anyways, their service was fantastic! The prices were very affordable and they had other options as well. I will be recommending them when I am more sociable again. I cannot thank them enough and will be using their services again in the (hopefully) very distant future. <3

Veterinarian Here -They Never returned a callThey Never pick up there phone or return a callAs I was in their location I did a stop to get information for my practice and staffI was treated rudely , inappropriate business behaviorNever would I recommend this place nor go there for my own pets !!The owner left a response but truly she is a lyre not very business like me owner A) no one was in your office with there pets , where did they park next street over ? Lol .. were sitting in your office twiddling ur thumbs ur young assistant gave me information pamphlets & I enquirer in “ When” let’s say that again “ WHEN “ is it possible that my office veterinarians could do a no tour assistant replied getting up from her desk I’ll ask and you came out roaringly rude to no end line what are you hiding lady ? My cat got very sick very suddenly and ended up having to put her down the Saturday before Christmas. Me and my family were very stressed since it was so close to Christmas and we weren’t sure if any place would be able to help us in terms of cremation. But we didn’t want to wait and have her suffer for any longer, or worse have something terrible happen on Christmas and we wouldn’t be able to do anything for her. One place we called for said since it was the weekend cremation would cost and an additional $140 which I thought was insane and a bit insensitive. I understand having an after hours fee but for it to double the price of the service seemed a bit cruel. Luckily I found pet passages and they were able to return my call instantly and relieve a lot of my stress. I’m so thankful they were able to get us in so close to Christmas. They even stayed open a few minutes later for us since we couldn’t get a vet appointment until a bit later. I would definitely recommend pet passages to anyone with a lost loved pet. They’re great and so incredibly compassionate. Thank you so much!

Earlier this month, my precious girl Nova passed away. Bob was at my home in less than two hours, and everything was explained and I was kept updated through every step of her passage. Less than 24 hours later, I had a beautifully engraved wooden box for her remains and a keepsake pressing of her pawprints in special foam that is kinder on their little paws than clay and takes a better impression. I am so very grateful that I have such wonderful keepsakes to remember Nova by. If your friend crosses the rainbow bridge, I can't recommend Pet Passages, Livonia, MI enough. Bob and Wendy took such excellent care of us, and Nova was treated with dignity and tenderness. I don't wish this on anyone, but if it happens, I can honestly say that this can help you take a step toward closure and give you a touchstone for your mourning, as it has for me.

I was so heartbroken and didn't want to burry her because the fact I won't live in the same house forever was killing me, I knew cremation was definitely the best option. It was extremely last minute but my dad had found this place on the internet for pet cremation. When we arrived, the enterance was so welcoming and so pretty inside, and the staff ladies that were there was just so warm welcoming too and so understanding. It reassured me that Coco would be okay.When we ordered our items, the price was relatively cheap and so my dad ordered a good amount of items to remember Coco. This place did such a beautiful job creating her lil clay paw prints piece as well as the photo frame that it came with, while they printed the photo for you of your fur baby. Her ashes were put into this cute little velvet back, with a little card.Just overall such a beautiful company and a very welcoming and stress-free environment. Thank you all so very much :,)

Bob & Wendy are great people.We were here in April to put down our sweet dog, Bentley and it was such an intimate, calming experience during such an awful time to have to put him down and their staff was great at helping us navigate.Only 4 months later now in August, we have lost our sweet puppy, Maisy, unexpectedly. She passed away at the animal hospital and I was so worried about where she would be sent off too. I called and Wendy assured me not to worry, they went to pick her up and brought her there and once again we so kind and great helping us through this and taking care of one of our babies again.This year has been tough and I am so thankful for them. After losing my best friend of 6 years unexpectedly I had no idea what to do. I didn’t feel right burying him and I wanted him cremated. From the moment I called to the moment I picked my boy up I knew he was in good hands. They walked me through everything when I got there since he was small enough for us to bring in ourselves. They were so calm and peaceful the entire time. I ordered the package for $230 which gave him an urn box, a private cremation, his nose and his paw prints. I was only expecting the box to have his name on it but they put his paw prints on there as a little bonus for us. We ordered the photo frame with his paw prints in them as well for an extra $40. Thank you guys for all that you’ve done for my family and bringing us peace in this situation 🐾🕊️

This is how it should be. The euthanasia experience was calm and intimate, just what we wanted!!! We couldn’t imagine losing her in a cold vet office with other dogs barking and doors constantly slamming shut. Such a wonderful company. My aunt recommended to me when she lost her dog just over a year ago. My partner and I lost our beloved cat on April 9th of this year, and picked him up today (the 10th). Watching your pet deteriorate and making the painful decision to put them down is one of the hardest decisions in the world. I am so grateful for Pet Passages, I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them. We decided over the weekend that we needed to put our cat down within the next few days because she was really suffering. They are not open on the weekends but I left a voicemail anyway. Within 15mins of leaving that voicemail, I got a text message from Bob, who I later found out is the owner, a list of places who do in home Euthanasia and mentioned they also do it at their facility.We were able to find someone from their list and later brought our cat for cremation to Pet Passages.All of the employees were extremely nice, caring and supportive. They brought us and our kitty who had passed to a very peaceful room, laid her down on a little thrown with a purple pillow and wrapped her in a purple blanket and let us have all the time we needed to say goodbye. She looked so peaceful, and I know she was in good hands.They also have some really wonderful keepsakes for your fur babies.I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend!

Friday afternoon I pricked up my best friend and fur baby of 14 year's *Boo's* remains.I and my family were in utter shock! Absolutely Amazing with such love! Cherry Oak Box with his name engraved on it. Paw and nose print card's & a ceramic stone with his front paw prints. A heart stone and lil heart with a bit of him soaked in that we are to plant and see what grows. In the box was a gorgeous velvet pouch with his ashes that had embroiled till we meet again on the rainbow Bridge. When I called them they were so kind so compassionate! These people care and feel so much for you and your fur babies and it shows. Im so grateful that I could trust them with the cremation process of both of my babies and how sensitive they were to me during these times. Our baby passed tragically and unexpectedly on the morning of Memorial day. Not only was i in complete hysterics, panic set in even more when everywhere i called was either closed, or completely out of what i could afford. Bob immediately picked up the phone and made arrangements to meet me there to take care of my baby. I was not expecting what i walked into! An actual funeral home for your pet. Not a cold, impersonal vets office, but a beautifully decorated, warm, compassionate setting. Bob was absolutely amazing. He was so personable, compassionate and took time to talk to us so we fully understand what he could offer. My beloved 16 year old cat passed away at home last week. I was at a loss for words and emotionally a wreck. I did not know what to do and then I found Pet Passages with a Google search. I had called before business hours and they quickly text me back. I was able to bring my cat Lily in within a few hours. They laid her peacefully on a pillow and let me spend time with her. When our 9 week old puppy passed suddenly, we were completely devastated. Kirby passed away at a veterinarian office in the middle of the night. They were kind enough to hold on to our little buddy until Pet Passages could pick him up. After that, the care and compassion shown to our family was unbelievable. 100+ Stars. Pet Passages has been incredible, and I am so thankful I found them. After we lost our Sassy girl kitty, Pet Passages was already closed for the evening, yet they still responded to my text, and were so kind. Upon dropping our sweet girl off, Kristy was sympathetic, handled Sassy as if she was her own, and truly just made us feel as comfortable as one can during such an emotional time. We felt so confident leaving her in their care. Wendy helped us when we picked her up, went over everything, and was just so full of love and warmth. He took the time to share his story and really connect with us. I genuinely knew Sadie was in good hands and would be cared for. I worked as a Veterinary assistant, and had heard their name before, but I didn't know how truly amazing they were until I had to use their services. What a blessing this place was!! Lost my girl Macy one week ago and was referred here by a friend! Had originally scheduled her euthanasia at the vet but last minute my son couldn’t make it - they made it happen so we could be there as a family to peacefully say goodbye to our beloved pet after 13 years! Toughest thing I’ve ever done but the staff/owners were amazing and so patient! I knew my girl was in good hands as we left! I know I’m not the first, nor will be the last to recommend Pet Passages - Livonia, MI Dignified Pet Cremation. Our 13 year old dog passed away in our home Sunday afternoon and my friend urged me to call them, and I’m so glad I did! Owner Bob was so compassionate and took his time explaining everything to me and even came to our home to pick Bones up. He had wrapped him in a soft purple blanket and positioned him so myself, my husband, and son could say a final goodbye. When it was time to pick him up, he sat with us and let us cry as long as we needed and presented us with such wonderful keepsakes, and even a special plaque just for my son. He memorialized Bones in such a loving and compassionate way. Anyone who has lost a pet or has to make the tough decision to put them down please give them a call, their services really made a difference and helped us with the loss. 💕🐶

Our beloved Yorkshire Terrier passed last Sunday, and we weren’t quite sure what to do, so I did a Google search and found Pet Passages. Wendy was empathetic and gave us instructions on how to care for Quizzle and what paperwork to complete until we could bring him in the next morning.When we arrived, Kristy welcomed us, expressed her condolences, and explained the service we had selected and the timeline to receive cremains. Then, she offered something I hadn’t expected: a private visitation to say our final goodbyes.As we entered the room, she explained pets are royalty, so Quizzle was laid out on a purple pillow and covered to the shoulders in a purple blanket. She positioned him to make it look as though he was peacefully resting. THIS was the way we wanted to remember him, not the vision when we found him after we awoke Sunday morning.Wendy called on Wednesday to advise us Quizzle’s cremains were available for pick up. This is the second time we've used Pet Passages in Livonia. I rated a 4 star instead of a 5 star because when we walked in for a scheduled euthanasia appointment, a man (the owner I think) was at the desk helping other customers. Instantly, he asked us to wait "outside" (like an entryway type thing). I was really taken off guard by this. It was a cold "greeting" to an already horrible day. Thankfully Kristy swooped in and took us right back to a room. She was amazing and super compassionate. Thank you, Kristy.

We had a hamster that died this past weekend. He really wedged his way into our hesrts over the last two years and we grieved more than I thought we would when he died. We buried him in our garden but by the next day, we knew that we felt unsettled about it. Thinking about him decomposing in our yard didn't feel right so yes, we dug up his little coffin and called Pet Passages. I felt so stupid, crying on the phone and explaining everything. From the moment the person who took my call answered the phone, I was treated with such grace and kindness! We took him in to be cremated a half hour later. Again, upon arrival, we couldn't have asked for a more compassionate person who understood how we felt and listened to exactly what we wanted. I picked him up today. From a sample of fur, paw prints, a heartfelt card, a little pellet that contains the seeds of perennial flowers we can plant one day to remember him, and of course, his remains, we couldn't have wished for a better experience! I am SO grateful we made the choice we did and I hope the ladies that helped us are reading this because I want them to know how much their kindness and grace meant to us! Thank you so very much for all you did for our little guy, and for us. ❤️

Pet passages was absolutely amazing! I lost my sweet Rosie unexpectedly a day after her 5th birthday. This place was more then I could have ever hoped for and gave my girl the dignity and respect that she deserved. Our oldest cat Piper suddenly passed away on Saturday morning. We didn't reach out to Pet Passages until 3am Sunday morning, while I was having a panic attack over what was possibly happening to Piper because we had her buried originally. Christie contacted me right away the next morning and was super helpful and informed me that it was not too late to have her cremated as I had originally planned for (her being buried happened very quickly). When we went in to drop her off, Christie helped us and was very wonderful and while I was shutting down mentally in the chair, she gave me my space and spoke with my husband instead (which was very helpful). They allowed us to say goodbye once last time and that if we wanted, we could stay as long as we liked. I did call multiple times over the period of those few days and when the phone was answered, they were extremely caring and gentle and never seemed annoyed by my questions. I wasn't sure on the color of the stone for Piper's pawprints (I wanted either Sapphire for her Birthday month or Diamond for her adopted month) and they were able to surprise me with one of the colors. I was a bit late when I finally decided that I wanted to do her birthday month so that I could continue this in the future with my other pets, but decided that I would let it be whichever it was to be. Upon picking her up, Bob helped us. I do want to apologize to Bob because I rarely interacted with him and the moment he had set down her fur clipping, I snatched them up before his hand had time to go back behind the desk. I was thinking about how I just wanted to hold her or pet her the night prior and it was a lot more fur than I was expecting. If you are having a very hard time getting over your pet, definitely get the fur clippings. I held and stared at it for hours but it helped immensely in keeping me calm.Anyways, their service was fantastic! The prices were very affordable and they had other options as well. I will be recommending them when I am more sociable again. I cannot thank them enough and will be using their services again in the (hopefully) very distant future. <3

My cat got very sick very suddenly and ended up having to put her down the Saturday before Christmas. Me and my family were very stressed since it was so close to Christmas and we weren’t sure if any place would be able to help us in terms of cremation. But we didn’t want to wait and have her suffer for any longer, or worse have something terrible happen on Christmas and we wouldn’t be able to do anything for her. One place we called for said since it was the weekend cremation would cost and an additional $140 which I thought was insane and a bit insensitive. I understand having an after hours fee but for it to double the price of the service seemed a bit cruel. Luckily I found pet passages and they were able to return my call instantly and relieve a lot of my stress. I’m so thankful they were able to get us in so close to Christmas. They even stayed open a few minutes later for us since we couldn’t get a vet appointment until a bit later. I would definitely recommend pet passages to anyone with a lost loved pet. They’re great and so incredibly compassionate. Thank you so much!

Earlier this month, my precious girl Nova passed away. Bob was at my home in less than two hours, and everything was explained and I was kept updated through every step of her passage. Less than 24 hours later, I had a beautifully engraved wooden box for her remains and a keepsake pressing of her pawprints in special foam that is kinder on their little paws than clay and takes a better impression. I am so very grateful that I have such wonderful keepsakes to remember Nova by. If your friend crosses the rainbow bridge, I can't recommend Pet Passages, Livonia, MI enough. Bob and Wendy took such excellent care of us, and Nova was treated with dignity and tenderness. I don't wish this on anyone, but if it happens, I can honestly say that this can help you take a step toward closure and give you a touchstone for your mourning, as it has for me.

Recently took our family cat in after he passed. The staff are very attentive, kind, caring and compassionate. Very fair prices. They offer lots of extras such as items and sweet trinkets with paw or nose prints. The facility is nice. You get only your fur baby’s remains back unlike many facilities who can’t guarantee you’ll get any of your animals remains. I cannot recommend Pet Passages enough. Very dignified.

Our Luci passed away at home last Thursday. From the first call to Pet Passages and through the entire experience, we were shown nothing but compassion and caring. Bob came to the house to get our girl, explained the process and his own experiences and how he came to own Pet Passages. I am so glad that I chose to entrust Pet Passages to take care of my sweet boy. It is so traumatic losing a beloved pet, but Bob and Kristie were so kind and compassionate from the beginning to the end. We love Bob and Wendy, and the rest of the awesome team at Pet Passages!They help to find the honorable and memorable way to both say goodbye and hold on to the experience of getting to love even the smallest of critters.They went above and beyond, cremating our clinic goldfish, Wendell when he passed. He may have been just a fish to some, but we loved him and he was our fish. Even took the time to etch the imprint of his fins and lower fish lip on a beautiful box. They we so kind to us when we had our Daisy's cremation a couple years ago. They gave us her paw and nose prints and a disc of flower seeds to plant in her memory.Last week we had to lay our Romeo to rest and we were able to also use their euthanasia service as well. It was so much more comforting then the atmosphere of a vet clinic. His name was on the door, it was so quiet but with soothing music playing in the background. His room had a couch, chairs, a padded riser if that's where he wanted to lay. Soft blankets and pillows filled with lavender to rest his head. And a bowl of chocolates, because every dog should be able to finally enjoy some chocolate.❤️ They also made it so easy when I called them. I was at work and got their voice mail and they made it so so easy for me by texting the arrangements so I wouldn't have to call again. They just take care of everything so thoughtfully and I can't recommend them enough. I know so many pet parents and people that I know would be relieved to find a service like this one.And that's what they were for us..a huge relief.

Our Casey boy was family to us as im sure most people can relate. Our good Ole boy was a decent sized black lab and we didn't want to bury him in the back yard as we're renters and also just wanted to make sure he had something he deserved. My boyfriends aunt found this place and they were wonderful. So kind and caring. When they came to pick Casey up they brought the proper supplies and were in and out making it as painless as possible. We went and picked up the ashes today and their place was very sweet and appropriate. I would recommend these guys to any family who is going through the loss of their "fur baby" as passges refers to our pets. They were wonderful.

I cannot express in words what my family and I feel about Pet Passages. From the time she picked up our phone call to the time we picked up our beloved baby's remains, Wendy has been the most compassionate, caring, and soothing part of our Diesel's passing. We never felt rushed and Pet Passages even gave us the opportunity to place him into the cremation chamber ourselves and perform all his final rites to our satisfaction. Wendy and Bob own the place and personally saw to our every comfort. Such a wonderful company. My aunt recommended to me when she lost her dog just over a year ago. My partner and I lost our beloved cat on April 9th of this year, and picked him up today (the 10th). Watching your pet deteriorate and making the painful decision to put them down is one of the hardest decisions in the world. I am so grateful for Pet Passages, I honestly don’t know what we would have done without them. We decided over the weekend that we needed to put our cat down within the next few days because she was really suffering. They are not open on the weekends but I left a voicemail anyway. Within 15mins of leaving that voicemail, I got a text message from Bob, who I later found out is the owner, a list of places who do in home Euthanasia and mentioned they also do it at their facility.We were able to find someone from their list and later brought our cat for cremation to Pet Passages.All of the employees were extremely nice, caring and supportive. They brought us and our kitty who had passed to a very peaceful room, laid her down on a little thrown with a purple pillow and wrapped her in a purple blanket and let us have all the time we needed to say goodbye. She looked so peaceful, and I know she was in good hands.They also have some really wonderful keepsakes for your fur babies.I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend!

Friday afternoon I pricked up my best friend and fur baby of 14 year's *Boo's* remains.I and my family were in utter shock! Absolutely Amazing with such love! Cherry Oak Box with his name engraved on it. Paw and nose print card's & a ceramic stone with his front paw prints. A heart stone and lil heart with a bit of him soaked in that we are to plant and see what grows. In the box was a gorgeous velvet pouch with his ashes that had embroiled till we meet again on the rainbow Bridge. When I called them they were so kind so compassionate! They even delivered it all to my vet's office! I highly recommend this place for your fur babies when the time comes. Thank you Pet Passages for such wonderful care of my fur baby Boo! 💖

My two pet rats had passed away and both times I came to pet passage and I’ve never met more caring and genuine people in my life. These people care and feel so much for you and your fur babies and it shows. Im so grateful that I could trust them with the cremation process of both of my babies and how sensitive they were to me during these times. Our baby passed tragically and unexpectedly on the morning of Memorial day. Not only was i in complete hysterics, panic set in even more when everywhere i called was either closed, or completely out of what i could afford. Bob immediately picked up the phone and made arrangements to meet me there to take care of my baby. I was not expecting what i walked into! An actual funeral home for your pet. Not a cold, impersonal vets office, but a beautifully decorated, warm, compassionate setting. Bob was absolutely amazing. He was so personable, compassionate and took time to talk to us so we fully understand what he could offer. The way he treated my baby was with nothing but extreme care, and he made this horrible process easier to go through. My beloved 16 year old cat passed away at home last week. I was at a loss for words and emotionally a wreck. I did not know what to do and then I found Pet Passages with a Google search. I had called before business hours and they quickly text me back. I was able to bring my cat Lily in within a few hours. They laid her peacefully on a pillow and let me spend time with her. They were beyond compassionate while I was heart broken. They even made a special wooden plaque for me with my late husband’s name and Lily’s on it. I would recommend Pet Passages without hesitation. When our 9 week old puppy passed suddenly, we were completely devastated. Kirby passed away at a veterinarian office in the middle of the night. They were kind enough to hold on to our little buddy until Pet Passages could pick him up. After that, the care and compassion shown to our family was unbelievable. After a couple weeks of struggling, I had to make the painful decision to let my baby girl go. Making one of the hardest decisions was already a heartbreaking burden, the thought of trying to coordinate aftercare while dealing with the flood of emotions seemed huge. On short notice, we gave Bob a call and he went out of his way to make a terrible time just a little easier. He coordinated with the in-home vet and arrived to assist shortly after the procedure was completed. The respect and understanding that Bob has for our furry family members is undeniable. He took his time to offer his sincere sympathies, explained everything carefully, treated my pup with the utmost respect and gave us all the time we wanted to say goodbye. There was no rush even though it was late in the evening. My pup's remains were ready to come home the next day. When I picked them up Bob provided a kind ear for conversation and even offered to help put me in touch with breeders and rescue groups when the time was right. I hope the day you need Pet Passage's services is far off, but when you do make sure you call them. The phrase "it's just a dog" doesn't exist here.

My 130 lb American bulldogs seem to like to die in my arms early in the morning. I was so relieved that I was able to call Pet Passages. One thing you don't think of is how to handle a large dogs passing.My baby passed at 7 am on the kitchen floor in my arms. I waited until 8:30 to call. Bob the owner answered and I was grateful it wasn't an answering machine. When Bob arrived I was so comforted by his presence and was so impressed with his professionalism. The details mattered, even if they didn't seem to at the time.In short, I was impressed, comforted, and relieved by Bob the owners customer service and compassion. After receiving a grim prognosis for my dog Roxy, I began making arrangements for her to cross over. I received a recommendation from a friend and contacted the wonderful people at Pet Passages. We received an incredible amount of support and comfort as to several options on how to let her go. Even though the owners were out of town when I had to make the final decision, they made arrangements for another owner to meet me at the facility on a Saturday evening at 8pm.Everyone at the location was comforting to me and my other dogs as I believe it's important for animals to be a part of letting go of a family member. I was able to spend as much time as I needed to say my goodbye's. (although never enough)When picking up her cremains she was memorialized beautifully with a cherry wood box, foam paw print, nose print and a heart of seeds I could plant in my garden in her memory. I honestly felt much better seeing how caring they were on behalf of my animal.Thank you Pet Passages for your touching tribute and support to those of us that will forever remember the loss of a family member. If I could I would give 10 stars!

Pet Passages is a wonderful place. My Mom's dog passed away just over the weekend and I contacted them to pick him up. Both Wendy and Bob are the nicest people I've talked to during this rough time. They did a wonderful job with memorializing Brutus and my mom was very happy with the wonderful work they did too. We're still grieving, but this place is wonderful and they will take wonderful care of your pets.

Our fur baby had cancer and we also have to have her put down. ( We choose Sheehy Animal Hospital) and Pet Passages came and pick up our baby and took care of the rest. Highly recommend. The gentlemen at Pet Passages made our sad experience so much more comforting. Due to an accident, our beloved cat passed unexpectedly and tragically. We have a 7 year old whose bond was like any other so this passing was very hard for our little family. Not only did Bob make it possible for us to say our goodbyes, he helped our son learn about the rainbow bridge so that he could feel some kind of comfort during this sad time. We received a wonderful box engraved with our pets name and a foot print keepsake. We are so impressed with their professionalism, fast service and their genuine concern for those grieving their pets. Not to mention the price is almost too good to be true! I lost my thumper unexpectedly Sunday July 9, 2023 after having him for 4 1/2 years. I was so devastated and had no idea what to do. I knew I wanted him cremated and I’ve been to pet passages one other time to pick up my mom's dog and I went back for thumper. Wendy was the lady that helped me. She walked me through options, and helped me decide what I wanted to do. Wendy and the staff were so wonderful, caring, comforting, and compassionate! Pet passages did a really great job helping memorialize the loss of my cat Tookie. They were able to get very good ink prints of his paws and nose better than I could with a home kit I bought before he passed.Pet passages was very patient with me as this was my first pet loss and very helpful through this whole process even with my request to add on the cherrywood urn last minute. The only regret I have is not knowing I could have added the image of his paw prints to the urn too.The birthstone is a beautiful touch to the clay prints. My Tookie was an April baby. And apparently that stone stands for “everlasting love” which is a perfect fitting for the love he had for me and vice versa.It’s really awesome to know there’s a company out there that completely gets how important your pet was and treat them with dignity and respect as if they were a human relative. I will use this company every time when my 4 other babies cross over to the rainbow bridge.I cannot thank this company enough from the bottom of my broken heart for making this transition a little less painful.

I must admit, I did not fully understand the scope of Pet Passages until I needed them. Throughout the whole process, from post euthanasia to cremation we were never disregarded. Pet Passages gives the utmost consideration and sincere compassion to their clients ( 2 footed and 4 footed!) We were able to spend substantial time in a quiet and calming viewing room with our dog of 17 years to be with him and say our final good byes. Impressive services done with genuine care. 🐾🐾❤️

This is the second time we've used Pet Passages in Livonia. I rated a 4 star instead of a 5 star because when we walked in for a scheduled euthanasia appointment, a man (the owner I think) was at the desk helping other customers. Instantly, he asked us to wait "outside" (like an entryway type thing). I was really taken off guard by this. It was a cold "greeting" to an already horrible day. Thankfully Kristy swooped in and took us right back to a room. She was amazing and super compassionate. Thank you, Kristy.

We had a hamster that died this past weekend. He really wedged his way into our hesrts over the last two years and we grieved more than I thought we would when he died. We buried him in our garden but by the next day, we knew that we felt unsettled about it. Thinking about him decomposing in our yard didn't feel right so yes, we dug up his little coffin and called Pet Passages. I felt so stupid, crying on the phone and explaining everything. From the moment the person who took my call answered the phone, I was treated with such grace and kindness! We took him in to be cremated a half hour later. Again, upon arrival, we couldn't have asked for a more compassionate person who understood how we felt and listened to exactly what we wanted. I picked him up today. From a sample of fur, paw prints, a heartfelt card, a little pellet that contains the seeds of perennial flowers we can plant one day to remember him, and of course, his remains, we couldn't have wished for a better experience! I am SO grateful we made the choice we did and I hope the ladies that helped us are reading this because I want them to know how much their kindness and grace meant to us! Thank you so very much for all you did for our little guy, and for us. ❤️

My Miniature Schnauzer was almost 15 yrs old and had terminal cancer. I knew I didn't have long with her so I began to prepare for the inevitable. I came across Pet Passages and was interested in their cremation service. It was simple to set up the services I wanted. I purchased the clay paw print, picture frame and a fur clipping. They did such a fantastic job! Christy ( don't know if spelled right) was understanding and caring the whole time. I would recommend their services if you want your fur baby to be treated properly after crossing over.

I can't say enough about Bob and Wendy at Pet Passages. They were so kind and compassionate. They didn't rush us in our decisions. They made us feel confident that our sweet Nessie was being handled with care. The box she was returned to us in is a beautiful cherry stained wood with her name engraved, and the foam pawprint turned out so well. I lost my best friend November 10, 2022....i was recommended by many people to come here to have my Jax cremated. They offer so much. They took Jax from me and put him in a private room, wrapped in a purple blanket, as I picked out what I wanted done. I had his favorite toy with him...when I went into the room, they put the toy between his arms as if he was hugging it. Which touched my heart. They were so very compassionate about my dog, that it melted my heart ❤️. They told me to take as much time as I needed in the room. Walking out of the room took everything in me. I was able to see what was going on with my dog through their website. I was connected to him the entire time. It was not easy knowing exactly when his cremation started...but at the same time it was nice to be connected to what was going on. I am so thankful for pet passages and will only recommend them from here on out. Thank you pet passages team.

Not only are they very reasonably priced, they are so compassionate. Wendy came and got our dog from our home and he was ready to be pick up the next day. It's hard, but they really care and you will be supporting a small business rather than a bigger one that basically just wants to take your money and rush you the entire time. We just passed a year since my cat Benjamin passed. I will be forever heartbroken but, I can say that I am forever grateful for the service Pet Passages provided. Looking around for a place to give me the best services for my Bella Girl, she deserves the best and I found it at Pet Passages, I am so happy I went with them, they made me feel comfortable, they have a wide variety of options in whatever you choose for your beloveded pet. I chose quite a bit for my Bella because I wanted to remember her. I just wished animal's had a longer life span. They have paw prints with your pets birthstone in it I think that is beautiful & different. I will treasure My Bella for a lifetime. Their prices are resonable, & they don't charge you extra to spend time with your animal before you leave.

Recently took our family cat in after he passed. The staff are very attentive, kind, caring and compassionate. Very fair prices. They offer lots of extras such as items and sweet trinkets with paw or nose prints. The facility is nice. You get only your fur baby’s remains back unlike many facilities who can’t guarantee you’ll get any of your animals remains. I cannot recommend Pet Passages enough. Very dignified.

Our Luci passed away at home last Thursday. From the first call to Pet Passages and through the entire experience, we were shown nothing but compassion and caring. Bob came to the house to get our girl, explained the process and his own experiences and how he came to own Pet Passages. I am so glad that I chose to entrust Pet Passages to take care of my sweet boy. It is so traumatic losing a beloved pet, but Bob and Kristie were so kind and compassionate from the beginning to the end. Their reasonable prices afforded me the opportunity to have my baby treated in a beautiful and dignified manner. Bob was so extremely kind when he met me at the Vets office and I knew I had made the right decision to have my little boy cremated by Pet Passages. I now have my sweet boy Marley back home in a beautiful mahogany box with his name engraved on the top, a beautiful mahogany picture frame with a picture of my baby and his paw prints, a little heart container with some of his white fur and a certificate of cremation. Everything was handled in such a kind respectful way.If anyone has to unfortunately suffer the loss of a fur baby, I highly recommend Pet Passages to take care of your baby. They gave us her paw and nose prints and a disc of flower seeds to plant in her memory.Last week we had to lay our Romeo to rest and we were able to also use their euthanasia service as well. It was so much more comforting then the atmosphere of a vet clinic. His name was on the door, it was so quiet but with soothing music playing in the background. His room had a couch, chairs, a padded riser if that's where he wanted to lay. Soft blankets and pillows filled with lavender to rest his head. And a bowl of chocolates, because every dog should be able to finally enjoy some chocolate.❤️ They also made it so easy when I called them. I was at work and got their voice mail and they made it so so easy for me by texting the arrangements so I wouldn't have to call again. They just take care of everything so thoughtfully and I can't recommend them enough. I know so many pet parents and people that I know would be relieved to find a service like this one.And that's what they were for us..a huge relief.

Our Casey boy was family to us as im sure most people can relate. Our good Ole boy was a decent sized black lab and we didn't want to bury him in the back yard as we're renters and also just wanted to make sure he had something he deserved. My boyfriends aunt found this place and they were wonderful. So kind and caring. When they came to pick Casey up they brought the proper supplies and were in and out making it as painless as possible. We went and picked up the ashes today and their place was very sweet and appropriate. I would recommend these guys to any family who is going through the loss of their "fur baby" as passges refers to our pets. They were wonderful.

From the time she picked up our phone call to the time we picked up our beloved baby's remains, Wendy has been the most compassionate, caring, and soothing part of our Diesel's passing. We never felt rushed and Pet Passages even gave us the opportunity to place him into the cremation chamber ourselves and perform all his final rites to our satisfaction. I've had three of my beloved small furbabies ages 16, 17 and 13 1/2 all cremated at Pet Passages, Cremation is the best way to go, you have your Pet's ashes with you in a beautiful Cherry box with their name beautifully carved into the box, at a very reasonable Price and clippings of their hair saved in a heart shaped box. Bob Sutton the owner is a very compassionate and understanding man who will come to your house and do everything that needs to be done to get your Furbaby cremated and then back home to you a short time later either by you picking your Pet up at his business or Bob delivering your Pet to you.This has been a rough 14 months with the loss of 3 dogs, but Pet Passages came to my aid and made things so much easier to cope with!Thank you Pet 🐕 Passages.

They are the most kind and caring during the most difficult of times. I called a few places when it was time to start preparing for when that awful time comes to say goodbye to my giant best friend, a 170 lb English Mastiff/St. Bernard mix, they were the only ones that cared about me and my Hank. What do you do with a dog that big? I didn’t know and I was not happy with the answers I was getting. By the time I called Pet Passages to ask all my questions I just asked the last 3 places, I was in tears! They were so patient with me and told me I did not have to worry about a thing, they were right! They did not tell me that I needed to make sure I had enough muscle at my house to get him carried to a van, Pet Passages came with muscle and a stretcher to make my experience less stressful as possible, and it was. They did not take advantage of his size to charge me an arm and a leg, Pet Passages prices were so reasonable I was able to bring my best friend back home in a beautiful urn. I can not thank them enough.

My husband and I recently lost our sweet girl Molly after having her over 16 years. Bob and Wendy could not have been kinder or more compassionate, and did everything they could to make a very difficult time a little easier. Being able to keep track of Molly while in their care was very comforting and they had her ready to return home quickly. Her cherry wood box is beautiful and the engraving is perfect. Very reasonably priced as well which isn't the main reason we went to them, but it helped. If you want your fur baby treated with the utmost respect, I highly recommend Pet Passages.

Pet Passages, and particularly Bob, Wendy and Scott, transformed one of a pet parents worst moments (death of a beloved fur kid), into a very touching and heartfelt experience. I was very impressed when I read about how Pet Passages came to existence, and when Bob explained the entire process to me. Every step of the process is well thought out and with both the pet and “owner” in mind. Each animal is assigned an ID and you can follow their journey through the Pet Passages journey. The amount of care from start to finish is just incredible, and Pet Passages is clearly a thoughtful leader in the pet death ‘industry’, for lack of a better term. It is abundantly clear that Bob, Wendy and Scott are passionate about animals and their caretakers, and treated Hansel and I with such love and respect.The love and care that the Pet Passages - Livonia team put into each “client” experience is above and beyond what anyone may expect after the loss of a pet. I was kept well informed of what was going on with my beloved Hansel, from letting me know when they had arrived at the vet to pick up Hansel, to when they had him in their care, and when he would be ready for me to bring him home for the last time.Sadly, this is not my first experience with pet death. The memorial products that Pet Passages has to offer were so amazing. The clay paw print made me cry the minute that I saw it, and the small paw keepsake urn was lovely.When the time comes again, as it inevitably will, without a doubt, I will use Pet Passages - Livonia again.

Went to them to help with my sweet girl Meredith. They were so incredibly nice, I could tell my baby was in good hands. I used a rainbow room to say my see you later to my sweet kitty and she said the wrap the animals in purple cause it it a royal color, which made my heart smile even in passing this life she is treated like royalty. Definitely only going to them when there’s a animal passing. I felt great comfort and they asked her name and kept referring to her as her name. Definitely amazing people there.

I highly I mean highly recommend pet passages. These fine gentlemen that worked with me helped me in every step of the process and took time to really walk me through every step and keep me informed of everything. They were there right away when I had to sadly euthanize my dog. They picked her up right from the vet and took her to their facility. I chose the truly private remembrance package and I was not disappointed at all. The box the ashes cake in was absolutely beautiful and I could not have asked for a better experience in such a hard time for myself and my wife. They really took the time to check up on my personal health because I somehow ended up needed an emergency surgery the same day I had to put my dog down. They gladly worked with my mother that had to take my dog up to the vet. These two gentlemen were absolutely amazing and felt like family. Thank you Bob and Scott!

This is not a review a human ever wants to write. Yesterday was the most heart breaking day of my life. Bob came through first thing in the morning and took such great care of our biscuit. He showed compassion knowing how difficult it was for us to speak or make decisions. He wasn’t pushy with up selling. We requested the whole package for our best boy and it was very affordable. Even though it wasn’t offered I did request a nose print. Biscuit is a hound dog after all. Bob was more than happy to do that for us. The process was very easy to track on their web site and to our surprise we were able to bring biscuit home that afternoon. Everything came back beautifully done. This was a very hard review to write and I’m absolutely broken but I needed to say thank you to bob for being there during this difficult time.

If you’re looking for a place who will treat you and your pet with the upmost respect, this is the place for you. I am so incredibly thankful to have come across Pet passages and I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to take care of my precious Goldie. From start on the phone I expressed my concerns with Bob that I was feeling uneasy about being unaware I wouldn’t be getting my pets ashes with semi private. He made me feel at ease assuring me that I would be and explained the steps to me as well. Bob and his wife are so understanding, just really the nicest people I’ve ever come across. They understood my heart break, and exchanged stories with me about their dog who passed as well. We were offered the “Rainbow room” to say our final goodbyes, where they set up your pet comfortably in a private room, covered in a blanket like they are sleeping. I’m so thankful that they offered this to me because it helped my grieving process by being able to kiss and pet my baby one last time. Bob & his wife are also extremely compassionate and considerate, they worked with me for a time i was able to come pick up her ashes, as i was unable to the day she was ready. They made sure to be there for me so i was able to come get her even on their busy days. I can’t thank them enough for doing something that meant more than the entire world to me and i highly recommended them to everyone.

After a couple weeks of struggling, I had to make the painful decision to let my baby girl go. Making one of the hardest decisions was already a heartbreaking burden, the thought of trying to coordinate aftercare while dealing with the flood of emotions seemed huge. On short notice, we gave Bob a call and he went out of his way to make a terrible time just a little easier. He coordinated with the in-home vet and arrived to assist shortly after the procedure was completed. The respect and understanding that Bob has for our furry family members is undeniable. He took his time to offer his sincere sympathies, explained everything carefully, treated my pup with the utmost respect and gave us all the time we wanted to say goodbye. There was no rush even though it was late in the evening. My pup's remains were ready to come home the next day. When I picked them up Bob provided a kind ear for conversation and even offered to help put me in touch with breeders and rescue groups when the time was right. I hope the day you need Pet Passage's services is far off, but when you do make sure you call them. The phrase "it's just a dog" doesn't exist here.

My 130 lb American bulldogs seem to like to die in my arms early in the morning. I was so relieved that I was able to call Pet Passages. One thing you don't think of is how to handle a large dogs passing.My baby passed at 7 am on the kitchen floor in my arms. I waited until 8:30 to call. Bob the owner answered and I was grateful it wasn't an answering machine. When Bob arrived I was so comforted by his presence and was so impressed with his professionalism. The details mattered, even if they didn't seem to at the time.In short, I was impressed, comforted, and relieved by Bob the owners customer service and compassion. After receiving a grim prognosis for my dog Roxy, I began making arrangements for her to cross over. I received a recommendation from a friend and contacted the wonderful people at Pet Passages. We received an incredible amount of support and comfort as to several options on how to let her go. Even though the owners were out of town when I had to make the final decision, they made arrangements for another owner to meet me at the facility on a Saturday evening at 8pm.Everyone at the location was comforting to me and my other dogs as I believe it's important for animals to be a part of letting go of a family member. I was able to spend as much time as I needed to say my goodbye's. (although never enough)When picking up her cremains she was memorialized beautifully with a cherry wood box, foam paw print, nose print and a heart of seeds I could plant in my garden in her memory. I honestly felt much better seeing how caring they were on behalf of my animal.Thank you Pet Passages for your touching tribute and support to those of us that will forever remember the loss of a family member. Pet Passages is a wonderful place. My Mom's dog passed away just over the weekend and I contacted them to pick him up. Both Wendy and Bob are the nicest people I've talked to during this rough time. The gentlemen at Pet Passages made our sad experience so much more comforting. Due to an accident, our beloved cat passed unexpectedly and tragically. We have a 7 year old whose bond was like any other so this passing was very hard for our little family. Not only did Bob make it possible for us to say our goodbyes, he helped our son learn about the rainbow bridge so that he could feel some kind of comfort during this sad time. We received a wonderful box engraved with our pets name and a foot print keepsake. We are so impressed with their professionalism, fast service and their genuine concern for those grieving their pets. Not to mention the price is almost too good to be true! I lost my thumper unexpectedly Sunday July 9, 2023 after having him for 4 1/2 years. I was so devastated and had no idea what to do. I knew I wanted him cremated and I’ve been to pet passages one other time to pick up my mom's dog and I went back for thumper. Wendy was the lady that helped me. Pet passages did a really great job helping memorialize the loss of my cat Tookie. They were able to get very good ink prints of his paws and nose better than I could with a home kit I bought before he passed.Pet passages was very patient with me as this was my first pet loss and very helpful through this whole process even with my request to add on the cherrywood urn last minute. The only regret I have is not knowing I could have added the image of his paw prints to the urn too.The birthstone is a beautiful touch to the clay prints. My Tookie was an April baby. And apparently that stone stands for “everlasting love” which is a perfect fitting for the love he had for me and vice versa.It’s really awesome to know there’s a company out there that completely gets how important your pet was and treat them with dignity and respect as if they were a human relative. I will use this company every time when my 4 other babies cross over to the rainbow bridge.I cannot thank this company enough from the bottom of my broken heart for making this transition a little less painful.

I must admit, I did not fully understand the scope of Pet Passages until I needed them. Throughout the whole process, from post euthanasia to cremation we were never disregarded. Pet Passages gives the utmost consideration and sincere compassion to their clients ( 2 footed and 4 footed!) We were able to spend substantial time in a quiet and calming viewing room with our dog of 17 years to be with him and say our final good byes. Impressive services done with genuine care. 🐾🐾❤️

Truly compassionate and understanding, this was our experience with Bob, the owner (met Scott as well, also very nice). We had to dig up our pup's remains from years ago, which proved more stressful than I had expected. We didn't know Bob personally, but even just by phone, he was with us through the entire ordeal, taking my frantic calls and trying to help in any way he could. That was incredibly comforting. I now think of him as a funeral director for pets, on par with funeral directors for humans, and funeral directors are very special people.Reasonable price, prompt service, and caring folks for our furry family members. No complaints whatsoever but lots of gratitude for Pet Passages being there, so glad to have found them.

Last Friday, we lost our beloved Meggy Moo. We were unsure of where we should take her, as we had recently moved. I contacted Bob at Pet Passages, and he was very kind and understanding. He laid Meggy out for me to have one last visit with her. He was very kind and compassionate, and I thought their services were top notch. I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience with Pet Passages. As my kitty of almost 18 years was preparing to leave I started looking on line for a cremation service. I wanted "my" ashes back, this was extremely important to me. I called my vet and they said I had to go through their cremation place but on line it said you get "A private compartment", and that is NOT what I call private. If they do not say the words "private" it is not. I called another vet and they said that while they do have their own cremation service they would allow Pet Passages to pick up my kitty. Bob was wonderful enough to drive up right away and everything was done professionally and with respect. I would strongly recommend them and never let your vet tell you that you have to go through their cremation place. Go with Pet Passages, you and your pet deserves it!

My Miniature Schnauzer was almost 15 yrs old and had terminal cancer. I knew I didn't have long with her so I began to prepare for the inevitable. I came across Pet Passages and was interested in their cremation service. It was simple to set up the services I wanted. I purchased the clay paw print, picture frame and a fur clipping. They did such a fantastic job! Christy ( don't know if spelled right) was understanding and caring the whole time. I can't say enough about Bob and Wendy at Pet Passages. They were so kind and compassionate. They didn't rush us in our decisions. They made us feel confident that our sweet Nessie was being handled with care. The box she was returned to us in is a beautiful cherry stained wood with her name engraved, and the foam pawprint turned out so well. I lost my best friend November 10, 2022....i was recommended by many people to come here to have my Jax cremated. They offer so much. They took Jax from me and put him in a private room, wrapped in a purple blanket, as I picked out what I wanted done. I had his favorite toy with him...when I went into the room, they put the toy between his arms as if he was hugging it. Which touched my heart. They were so very compassionate about my dog, that it melted my heart ❤️. They told me to take as much time as I needed in the room. Walking out of the room took everything in me. I was able to see what was going on with my dog through their website. I was connected to him the entire time. It was not easy knowing exactly when his cremation started...but at the same time it was nice to be connected to what was going on. I am so thankful for pet passages and will only recommend them from here on out. Thank you pet passages team.

Not only are they very reasonably priced, they are so compassionate. Wendy came and got our dog from our home and he was ready to be pick up the next day. My dog Bella passed away on New Year's Day, (1/1/23), a sad day. She will be truly missed. Looking around for a place to give me the best services for my Bella Girl, she deserves the best and I found it at Pet Passages, I am so happy I went with them, they made me feel comfortable, they have a wide variety of options in whatever you choose for your beloveded pet. I chose quite a bit for my Bella because I wanted to remember her. I just wished animal's had a longer life span. They have paw prints with your pets birthstone in it I think that is beautiful & different. I will treasure My Bella for a lifetime. Their prices are resonable, & they don't charge you extra to spend time with your animal before you leave.

I find the cost to be outrageous!!$1000 to help a pet cross the 🌈 bridge and cremation. There is more to just compassion for the family and respect for the animals. Charging $1000 is far from compassionate.

Bob was amazing, Every part of this heartbreaking day, was made a little easier knowing the care that was taken with my sweet boy was with respect and dignity. The reason I went this way, was because years ago, I had to put one of my other beloved pus to sleep. I stayed with her the entire time, however I was rushed away from her because they needed the room, which was a horrible feeling. My husband thought I had spent over $1000.00 - which he never balked at. Pet passages was much less than that even with the extras I purchased. I highly recommend them.

When we found out that our cat Binx had cancer and that it was only a matter of time until his time came, we were devastated. Sure enough, he passed a few weeks later. Although we were expecting it, it wasn’t any easier; I hadn’t made any arrangements for him, though I should have. He passed away on Mother’s Day and I searched “pet cremations” not thinking that anyone would be available. I called Pet Passages and they were available to us within the hour. I packed up my boy and they accepted him in without any problems. The man I spoke to in person and the woman over the phone were both extremely sympathetic as I spoke while crying and with a shaky voice and made this process easier than I could have ever imagined. They offered us to spend time with our Binx in their rainbow room (a “last goodbye” room, if you will). Just like any close relative, they asked about Binx and we told stories and relived the memories of him once more through them. The urn box we chose, which I believe is the standard box, is very nice and for only $15 more, we were able to get his paw prints engraved on the outside of the box by his name. Not only that but they also included a letter that was so touching and was meant to be “from the other side of the rainbow bridge” it brought tears to all of our eyes. I would definitely recommend Pet Passages to anyone. They also only took a few business days, as they stated to me it would be, to be able to pick up his ashes.

Mr. Bob was very compassionate. We had made arrangements with only 1 days noticed. Bailey was euthanized at home in the comfort of her own bed with her loved ones surrounding her.Mr. Bob arrived 1 hour after Baileys passing.He was kind enough to allow me to witness the beginning process of her cremation. The whole process took about 90mins. I was able to leave and come back just before it was finished. He put Baileys ashes in a beautiful wooden box with her name engraved on top. Mr. Bob is compassionate and he cares about the dignity of your pet.

My rabbit Buttons passed away of old age and I brought her here. I had called several places and they wouldn't do it because she was a rabbit. This place agreed no problem and got that even though she wasn't a cat or a dog, she was still my baby. Laying her out in her own little viewing room was amazing. It was a better way to see her before I got her back. The price was good and I appreciated them holding onto her til I could get the money cause of financial problem at the time. I got her back in a beautiful case in a bag tucked in. The heart which can be planted, her paw print, the whole 10 yards for great price. I will recommend this place to anyone who loses a pet, and I will come back in the sad event my other rabbit passes cause of how well everything was done here.

I've had three of my beloved small furbabies ages 16, 17 and 13 1/2 all cremated at Pet Passages, Cremation is the best way to go, you have your Pet's ashes with you in a beautiful Cherry box with their name beautifully carved into the box, at a very reasonable Price and clippings of their hair saved in a heart shaped box. Bob Sutton the owner is a very compassionate and understanding man who will come to your house and do everything that needs to be done to get your Furbaby cremated and then back home to you a short time later either by you picking your Pet up at his business or Bob delivering your Pet to you.This has been a rough 14 months with the loss of 3 dogs, but Pet Passages came to my aid and made things so much easier to cope with!Thank you Pet 🐕 Passages.

They are the most kind and caring during the most difficult of times. I called a few places when it was time to start preparing for when that awful time comes to say goodbye to my giant best friend, a 170 lb English Mastiff/St. Bernard mix, they were the only ones that cared about me and my Hank. What do you do with a dog that big? I didn’t know and I was not happy with the answers I was getting. By the time I called Pet Passages to ask all my questions I just asked the last 3 places, I was in tears! They were so patient with me and told me I did not have to worry about a thing, they were right! They did not tell me that I needed to make sure I had enough muscle at my house to get him carried to a van, Pet Passages came with muscle and a stretcher to make my experience less stressful as possible, and it was. They did not take advantage of his size to charge me an arm and a leg, Pet Passages prices were so reasonable I was able to bring my best friend back home in a beautiful urn. My husband and I recently lost our sweet girl Molly after having her over 16 years. Bob and Wendy could not have been kinder or more compassionate, and did everything they could to make a very difficult time a little easier. Being able to keep track of Molly while in their care was very comforting and they had her ready to return home quickly. Her cherry wood box is beautiful and the engraving is perfect. Very reasonably priced as well which isn't the main reason we went to them, but it helped. If you want your fur baby treated with the utmost respect, I highly recommend Pet Passages.

Pet Passages, and particularly Bob, Wendy and Scott, transformed one of a pet parents worst moments (death of a beloved fur kid), into a very touching and heartfelt experience. I was very impressed when I read about how Pet Passages came to existence, and when Bob explained the entire process to me. Every step of the process is well thought out and with both the pet and “owner” in mind. Each animal is assigned an ID and you can follow their journey through the Pet Passages journey. The amount of care from start to finish is just incredible, and Pet Passages is clearly a thoughtful leader in the pet death ‘industry’, for lack of a better term. It is abundantly clear that Bob, Wendy and Scott are passionate about animals and their caretakers, and treated Hansel and I with such love and respect.The love and care that the Pet Passages - Livonia team put into each “client” experience is above and beyond what anyone may expect after the loss of a pet. I was kept well informed of what was going on with my beloved Hansel, from letting me know when they had arrived at the vet to pick up Hansel, to when they had him in their care, and when he would be ready for me to bring him home for the last time.Sadly, this is not my first experience with pet death. The memorial products that Pet Passages has to offer were so amazing. The clay paw print made me cry the minute that I saw it, and the small paw keepsake urn was lovely.When the time comes again, as it inevitably will, without a doubt, I will use Pet Passages - Livonia again.

Went to them to help with my sweet girl Meredith. They were so incredibly nice, I could tell my baby was in good hands. I used a rainbow room to say my see you later to my sweet kitty and she said the wrap the animals in purple cause it it a royal color, which made my heart smile even in passing this life she is treated like royalty. Definitely only going to them when there’s a animal passing. I felt great comfort and they asked her name and kept referring to her as her name. Definitely amazing people there.

I highly I mean highly recommend pet passages. These fine gentlemen that worked with me helped me in every step of the process and took time to really walk me through every step and keep me informed of everything. They were there right away when I had to sadly euthanize my dog. They picked her up right from the vet and took her to their facility. I chose the truly private remembrance package and I was not disappointed at all. The box the ashes cake in was absolutely beautiful and I could not have asked for a better experience in such a hard time for myself and my wife. They really took the time to check up on my personal health because I somehow ended up needed an emergency surgery the same day I had to put my dog down. They gladly worked with my mother that had to take my dog up to the vet. These two gentlemen were absolutely amazing and felt like family. Thank you Bob and Scott!

This is not a review a human ever wants to write. Yesterday was the most heart breaking day of my life. Bob came through first thing in the morning and took such great care of our biscuit. He showed compassion knowing how difficult it was for us to speak or make decisions. He wasn’t pushy with up selling. We requested the whole package for our best boy and it was very affordable. Even though it wasn’t offered I did request a nose print. Biscuit is a hound dog after all. Bob was more than happy to do that for us. The process was very easy to track on their web site and to our surprise we were able to bring biscuit home that afternoon. Everything came back beautifully done. This was a very hard review to write and I’m absolutely broken but I needed to say thank you to bob for being there during this difficult time.

If you’re looking for a place who will treat you and your pet with the upmost respect, this is the place for you. I am so incredibly thankful to have come across Pet passages and I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to take care of my precious Goldie. From start on the phone I expressed my concerns with Bob that I was feeling uneasy about being unaware I wouldn’t be getting my pets ashes with semi private. He made me feel at ease assuring me that I would be and explained the steps to me as well. Bob and his wife are so understanding, just really the nicest people I’ve ever come across. They understood my heart break, and exchanged stories with me about their dog who passed as well. We were offered the “Rainbow room” to say our final goodbyes, where they set up your pet comfortably in a private room, covered in a blanket like they are sleeping. I’m so thankful that they offered this to me because it helped my grieving process by being able to kiss and pet my baby one last time. Bob & his wife are also extremely compassionate and considerate, they worked with me for a time i was able to come pick up her ashes, as i was unable to the day she was ready. They made sure to be there for me so i was able to come get her even on their busy days. I can’t thank them enough for doing something that meant more than the entire world to me and i highly recommended them to everyone.

Wendy and Bob provided professional yet compassionate services during our most difficult time. Wendy arranged for Dr Fish to come to our home and Bob transported our Monti after his passing. Monti was covered in purple blankets and transported via stretcher to the van. It was very dignified and my family was allowed the time we nreded to say goodbye. We were provided clear details and all questions answered. Monti was returned to us in the same manner. Pet passages offers all the services a pet family could ask for. Recently had to put a beloved animal down, and looking for a reasonable cremation facility I quickly learned that nobody in the pet cremation business cared, every place I called show zero empathy and 100% business. Prices were ridiculous and then I found Pet Passages. Calling and talking to Bob was so different than any other call I made, he was very apologetic and made me feel like he actually cared about his work. He walked me through all of the packages and pricing was very reasonable. Picked up from the Vet and kept me updated the whole time. Very personal and polite and beyond friendly. Engraved the Urn I had for my pet and even took the time to Pledge it so it was clear of finger prints. Going through a loss isn’t never easy but dealing with Bob and Scott at Pet Passages made it all much more manageable. Would recommend this businesss to anyone who is in the market for a pet cremation. Great work guys

This place is beyond amazing. When the Vet told me $400 to have my doxie cremated and returned i didn't know what to do along with the vet bill. Bob and Scott made the worst of times better and affordable. I paid $110 to have my dog cremated and returned in a engraved wooden urn and his paw print along with the rainbow bridge poem. They even wrapped him in a purple blanket and put him in a beautiful veiwing room for my family to say there final good byes. Bob and Scott were very professional, honest, and good people. Truly compassionate and understanding, this was our experience with Bob, the owner (met Scott as well, also very nice). We had to dig up our pup's remains from years ago, which proved more stressful than I had expected. We didn't know Bob personally, but even just by phone, he was with us through the entire ordeal, taking my frantic calls and trying to help in any way he could. That was incredibly comforting. I now think of him as a funeral director for pets, on par with funeral directors for humans, and funeral directors are very special people.Reasonable price, prompt service, and caring folks for our furry family members. Last Friday, we lost our beloved Meggy Moo. We were unsure of where we should take her, as we had recently moved. I contacted Bob at Pet Passages, and he was very kind and understanding. He laid Meggy out for me to have one last visit with her. He was very kind and compassionate, and I thought their services were top notch. Absolutely the best. If I could give 10 stars I would. Our Boo passed away around 10pm well after business hours. Bob was here to pick her up within an hour of our call. He went above and beyond anything we could have expected. He was so kind and compassionate and treated our fur baby with dignity and care. He made a very difficult and sad time much easier. I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience with Pet Passages. As my kitty of almost 18 years was preparing to leave I started looking on line for a cremation service. I wanted "my" ashes back, this was extremely important to me. I called my vet and they said I had to go through their cremation place but on line it said you get "A private compartment", and that is NOT what I call private. If they do not say the words "private" it is not. I called another vet and they said that while they do have their own cremation service they would allow Pet Passages to pick up my kitty. Bob was wonderful enough to drive up right away and everything was done professionally and with respect. I would strongly recommend them and never let your vet tell you that you have to go through their cremation place. Go with Pet Passages, you and your pet deserves it!

It's with sadden hearts that our beloved Shadow passed away Saturday. I didn't know where to start so I searched the internet, found one place only to be told to call someone. I called pet passage, spoke with Scott who said that they could help and was evening willing to pick up our Shadow but told me to call back in the morning to speak with Bob as he knew Detroit area's a little better. Attempted to call and ask if they offered in-home pet euthanasia because when I googled that their company came up. Was instantly cut off and told if I’m not interested in cremation services there was “no reason for them to be involved.” I was interested in both but nevermind after that “greeting.” Perhaps give people a chance to ask their whole question before jumping to conclusions during an already upsetting time.Update: I never got a chance to ask about cremation since I was interrupted before completing my first sentence. I suppose the person on the phone was having an off day. I do appreciate the call from the owner to try and work something out and I appreciate the kind words about my cat. Unfortunately, the first experience i described is 100% accurate. It seems others have had a different experience though.

I find the cost to be outrageous!!$1000 to help a pet cross the 🌈 bridge and cremation. There is more to just compassion for the family and respect for the animals. Charging $1000 is far from compassionate.

Bob was amazing, Every part of this heartbreaking day, was made a little easier knowing the care that was taken with my sweet boy was with respect and dignity. The reason I went this way, was because years ago, I had to put one of my other beloved pus to sleep. I stayed with her the entire time, however I was rushed away from her because they needed the room, which was a horrible feeling. My husband thought I had spent over $1000.00 - which he never balked at. Pet passages was much less than that even with the extras I purchased. I highly recommend them.

When we found out that our cat Binx had cancer and that it was only a matter of time until his time came, we were devastated. Sure enough, he passed a few weeks later. It was a better way to see her before I got her back. The price was good and I appreciated them holding onto her til I could get the money cause of financial problem at the time. I got her back in a beautiful case in a bag tucked in. The heart which can be planted, her paw print, the whole 10 yards for great price. I will recommend this place to anyone who loses a pet, and I will come back in the sad event my other rabbit passes cause of how well everything was done here.

I felt at home, I could cry, I heard their experiences on why they do what they are passionate about! I called for a family member who had just lost their pet on Christmas Eve, they were so kind in staying until they were able to get there, and gave them time to say goodbye. They did a beautiful job! I am forever grateful for their kindness, compassion and wonderful job they did for them. They also provide a nice price range and selection of services. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is in need of their services.

I had the misfortune of needing a cremation service on the 4th of July this year. My mom's beloved Huey passed suddenly and very unexpectedly. Bob was so so very kind and helpful. He treated our Huey with the utmost resepect and reassured us of what he would be doing with our baby thru out the whole process. He even including some reading material for the kids and grandkids at home to help with the grieving. We were so greatful for his kindness and help on a holiday and short notice much less. We rest assured our baby was treated properly with love. I highly recommend this bussiness to any loving pet owner.

From the time that they showed up at my house to pick up my dog (Artie) to the time i went and got him to bring him home they were extremely nice. 100% will recommend, and i will be using them in the future. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Pet Passages. I called other companies but between the reviews & just talking to Bob I knew I needed to choose them. My Bula was put to sleep at home and within 30 minutes Bob was there to pick her up and by the next day I had her ashes in a beautiful, engraved box and her paw print. I found Pet Passages on Google. I spoke with Bob the owner and he made arrangements to pick up my daughters cat at my home. Bob showed up on time as promised.Bob is a very respectful and caring person in dealing with the passing of family pets. Bob and Wendy went above and beyond for myself and my husband when we had to use their services for our baby boy, Rufus. They took great care of him and made us feel comforted as much as possible through our grief. He had died during the night, and we awoke to his dead body on the floor. He had died of a heart attack and we were devastated. Bob even laid Rufus out in one of the rooms, and allowed us to bring our dogs in for the private viewing we had for Rufus. We are still grieving for our baby boy, but Bob and Wendy are such kind souls, that we’re forever grateful for them and what they do, and why they do it. Wendy and Bob provided professional yet compassionate services during our most difficult time. Wendy arranged for Dr Fish to come to our home and Bob transported our Monti after his passing. Monti was covered in purple blankets and transported via stretcher to the van. It was very dignified and my family was allowed the time we nreded to say goodbye. We were provided clear details and all questions answered. Monti was returned to us in the same manner. Pet passages offers all the services a pet family could ask for. A beautiful setting, many affordable options and packages, care and compassion. I highly recommend their services. Recently had to put a beloved animal down, and looking for a reasonable cremation facility I quickly learned that nobody in the pet cremation business cared, every place I called show zero empathy and 100% business. Prices were ridiculous and then I found Pet Passages. Calling and talking to Bob was so different than any other call I made, he was very apologetic and made me feel like he actually cared about his work. He walked me through all of the packages and pricing was very reasonable. Picked up from the Vet and kept me updated the whole time. Very personal and polite and beyond friendly. Engraved the Urn I had for my pet and even took the time to Pledge it so it was clear of finger prints. Going through a loss isn’t never easy but dealing with Bob and Scott at Pet Passages made it all much more manageable. Would recommend this businesss to anyone who is in the market for a pet cremation. Great work guys

This place is beyond amazing. When the Vet told me $400 to have my doxie cremated and returned i didn't know what to do along with the vet bill. Bob and Scott made the worst of times better and affordable. I paid $110 to have my dog cremated and returned in a engraved wooden urn and his paw print along with the rainbow bridge poem. They even wrapped him in a purple blanket and put him in a beautiful veiwing room for my family to say there final good byes. Bob and Scott were very professional, honest, and good people. I'm really glad i found this place. Thank you for your kindness. I really recommend Pet Passages to anyone who loses there animal.

I Could not have chosen a better place for my baby Mort. They were so comforting . I expected to pay alot more for cremation. I don't think it would have been possible without Pet passages. Extremely cost efficient. Mort is now back home. It's not the same but knowing he is home with me and not just gone help's me! They are so wonderful!

It's with sadden hearts that our beloved Shadow passed away Saturday. I didn't know where to start so I searched the internet, found one place only to be told to call someone. I called pet passage, spoke with Scott who said that they could help and was evening willing to pick up our Shadow but told me to call back in the morning to speak with Bob as he knew Detroit area's a little better. Spoke with Bob the next day to set everything up. Bob and Scott came out and took our Shadow away. They were so kind to us. If I could give them 20 stars I would. I've been telling everyone I know that if something happens to your pet this is the best place to go. They are so compassionate and caring. Thank you so much, Bob and Scott for everything.

It is always so difficult to lose any member of your family. The people at Pet Passages were there for me. I was blown away by everything. The paw print, engraved box, and flowers to plant were better than I had ever expected. There is no comparison to what I have received in the past after letting my Vets (no shade to any Vet, just a big difference)office take care of it.

So I called them after I called a place in Troy. The place in Troy wanted double and I had to purchase every little thing separate like the urn, paw prints etc. Losing a fur baby is SUPER DAMN HARD enough I appreciated Pet Passages for not overcharging at such a hard time and including EVERYTHING in my price. This process has been so much easier thanks to Pet Passages. They are accommodating and very clearly care a great deal about the animals and people that they are given charge of. The pricing is also extremely affordable, and not once did I feel like I was being cajoled or manipulated into buying additional services (which I find common practice during the bereavement process). Attempted to call and ask if they offered in-home pet euthanasia because when I googled that their company came up. Was instantly cut off and told if I’m not interested in cremation services there was “no reason for them to be involved.” I was interested in both but nevermind after that “greeting.” Perhaps give people a chance to ask their whole question before jumping to conclusions during an already upsetting time.Update: I never got a chance to ask about cremation since I was interrupted before completing my first sentence. I suppose the person on the phone was having an off day. I do appreciate the call from the owner to try and work something out and I appreciate the kind words about my cat. Unfortunately, the first experience i described is 100% accurate. It seems others have had a different experience though.
