My fur baby kahlua died unexpectedly on Dec 5th, 2024 in her sleep at only 8.5 years old. I am completly devastated as she was healthy & happy as always before bed. My parents found you guys & although I was heartbroken to leave her there to be cremated, i knew she was in good hands . The place is beautiful and we got plenty of time to say goodbye. The owner was caring and gentle unloading my girl. The prices are excellent and the box, paw print & nose print is beautiful. Will be using them again in the future. My beautiful girl will never be forgotten. Thankyou so much for treating her so kindly. She was truly 1 of a kind.

We lost our beloved dog Miggy on a Friday night.We were devastated 😔Our kids knew they wanted to help out.My son remembered that his father in law had used Pet Passages in the past and was very happy with the service. Our kids got together and all 3 bought us the Private Remembrance Package for our Miggy. Such a nice thought from our wonderful kids …Because Miggy was their family too!!We made an appointment the next day(Saturday) and Jake was awesome ❤️‍🩹I highly recommend Jake & Pet Passages … A Great Service at a very reasonable price 👍(At this time we do not have a picture of Miggy to put in the frame)

We used Pet Passages because it is who our vet uses for cremation services. We were so happy that we would be getting a momento of our cat's paw prints with his name and birthstone. Unfortunately, when we picked up our cat's remains, the quality of the paw prints was not what we were expecting. I left a review and Jake contacted me very apologetic and with an idea of a different memento. He offered to engrave our cat's pawprint based on the the print they kept on file so that we could still have something to display with our cat's ashes and to remember him by.From start to finish, the customer service at Pet Passages has been amazing. They truly care about their clients and help make a very difficult, emotional time more bearable.

While preparing for the passing of our dog Shadow I was looking up somewhere to take her and I found Pet Passages online. I liked how everything was listed on their website, so we knew what we wanted when we arrived. Lauren was really sweet when we brought Shadow in. They have an online system to track your pet so you know what's going on, and Chris updated it at every step. They were fast too, we got her back 2 days later. Hopefully we won't need to use them for awhile but I'll definitely use them again.

I have so many good things to say about my recent experience with Chris from Pet Passages! My bird Thor passed away suddenly and expectedly last Sunday. To say I was devastated still doesn't even come close to describing the pain of losing him. I chose Pet Passages because of the other great reviews on here, so I wanted to share my wonderful experience with Pet Passages in this terrible time. Chris messaged me back so fast. It was almost close to midnight when I sent my first message, he reassured me he would personally take care of my bird. The next morning I called close to 8am, on the way there he called me back before his business even opened at 9am, got all my info and Thors info, was so gentle and kind. We got to say our final goodbyes in a private room, with him wrapped in purple blankies, Chris didn't try to sell me a single thing. I brought up the price and package I wanted and that was it. You get to check on your fur/feather/scale baby every step of the way, the website auto updated when Thor was ready to be cremated, being cremated, and then done. Also you can add pictures and a story to your pets story, also get to see their feet/paw/nose prints and save them to your phone. By Wednesday Thor was ready to be picked up. Chris had him all ready for me, in a beautiful bag, and box with his name on it. He even explained that he took extra care to turn the fans down/off to make sure my little birds remains didn't get blown around and I was able to get as much as possible of my little baby. Losing a companion is never easy, but Chris thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating me and most of all Thor, with respect and care and compassion during this, very hard, but very real part of life 🙌💗

I can not say enough how pleased I was and still am with Chris and his company. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone, to the very end of it all…he was so respectful and patient with us. You can hear the compassion in his voice and he really does care for your loved one. He didn’t try to sell us anything, push anything on us and didn’t even bother to bring up payment….I did. He still said, not to worry about that until later.We couldn’t bring in our beloved Louie…it was just way too hard, so he came within an hour to pick him up. He was gentle with Louie and that meant so much to us.We had our fur angel cremated and the process was so thoroughly done, I have no doubt Louie was in the best hands. We also have his nose print and paw print for life…as well as a picture frame with a paw print in clay behind glass…and we put a photo of him to the left of his paw print. This is the service no one ever wants to need.. but the day came for us and I was entirely unprepared. After our girl passed at home in the middle of the night we called the vet in the morning to see if they had a recommendation for a cremation service. They recommended Chris and Pet Passages. We called and left a message during off hours and Chris returned our call at 9:01a. He was thoughtful and compassionate and showed much dignity towards our loss and girl. He invited us to bring her there immediately which is what we were hoping to hear. The entire process from there on out was prompt, seamless, clear and very professional. Highly recommend for anyone needing this service. And if you are.. our hearts go out to you. What a loss but so thankful to have had one less thing to worry about which is while we waited to bring our girl home to her final resting place, we knew she was in the best care.

If you have a beloved animal who has passed or you have to say goodbye to, do not hesitate to get in touch with Pet Passages. Chris and Lauren are incredibly understanding, calm and compassionate people. When the time came for our family to make the decision to say goodbye to our 14 year-old dog Danny, I knew Pet Passages would take great care of him in a dignified way. We chose to have Dr. Matero (mobile veterinarian) come to the house so he would be comfortable, surrounded by his family. She was amazing. From there, Pet Passages picked him up at our home. They even let us tuck his favorite toy in with him. The online system they use to track the progress of the cremation was appreciated. We had Danny back home to us within two days, in a beautiful box with his name engraved on it and cards with his nose and paw prints. Even though it was a sad moment, it was made less stressful thanks to the team at Pet Passages.

*** Updating my rating after Jake quickly responded and took action to make things right after seeing my review. Apparently he was out of town and some things didn’t go as they should have. His response didn’t change what happened, but he did what he could to make it up to me so I want to improve my stars given from 3 to 5. The new urn looks great. (He didn’t ask me to do this either). ***Didn’t let me know when my dog’s remains were ready. They claim to have a 72 hour guaranteed turn around, yet I had to call after a week passed and no contact. And then I got a text 20 minutes after leaving my voice mail. It had a smiley face in it said her remains were ready. No apology for forgetting to contact me (and the smiley face felt really inappropriate under the circumstances). When I picked up her remains today, I asked Jake why no one contacted me. He said there was some glitch and the automated email didn’t go out until this morning, which was 9 days after I left her. Seems like they would wonder why no one had claimed her remains and they would pick up the phone and call me. This is a very heartbreaking and personal process. It should be handled with compassion by a person; not an automated e-mail. What good is a 72 hour guarantee if they don’t honor it? Also her name didn’t print well on the top of her urn box. She deserved a better final goodbye.

First, if you are reading this I want to say I am sorry for your loss. But you have come to the right place. I called at 9:30pm just expecting to leave a message and not hear from anyone until the next day. I was wrong. I got a call back within 30 minutes and Chris walked me through everything I needed to know. Our beloved toy poodle Penelope of 10 years suddenly passed without warning that evening. We were all devastated and not knowing what to do. Chris came high recommend from a friend. We are so glad we were able to get our pup a proper cremation and feel comfortable that she was being taken well care of while in their care. They treat the furry family members with so much respect. I highly recommend Pet Passages as well as the services of Dr. Erin Matero. I first went to Pet Passages with my cat when she died unexpectedly at home. Chris was so professional and kind that we decided to return when it was time for our dog, this time with Dr. Matero providing euthanasia. His passing was humane, intimate, and peaceful. All communication was clear and sensitive and the care provided was worth the price.

We are so great full we found Pet Passages and Chris Mires. Are hearts were broken when our little dog, Riley, passed away at home on December 1. We brought her to his location not really knowing what to expect. Chris met us in the parking lot and brought Riley into one of his viewing rooms so we could have to some time to say our last goodbyes. His office and viewing rooms are so nice and comfortable. He gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. He is truly a kind and compassionate man. I would highly recommend him and his company for anyone else facing what we did. It was very hard to decide when to have our dog euthanized, but it was not hard to choose Pet Passages in Lake Orion to cremate her; and it was a good choice. Chris was very understanding and definitely put our feelings first. He would not even discuss payment until after he had started the process. At all times he was understanding and professional and respectful of our dog. While I am sure sometimes the process takes as long as they say it will, in our case everything was complete in just over a day. We could not have been more satisfied. If it matters to you the price he charges is quite good compared to other options you have.

Losing my little guy has broken me. Much more than I ever thought and this process has been one of the hardest things I've ever done. After calling around to see what options there are, Chris of Pet Passages in Lake Orion, was 100% the obvious choice. We were greeted by Chris right on time and were led into a private room so I could spend a little bit more time with him. I went back in a few times. I was worried about a few different things but Chris was so amazing and explained how everything works, step by step. My rabbit had died completely unexpectedly a few days ago, when we talked to Chris he was very kind and understanding, he was able to take bean as soon as we dropped him off and took great care of him, he was gentle to bean and to my family during this hard time, he did great paw prints! I would recommend Chris and Pet Passages to anyone dealing with losing their fur baby. Chris was incredibly kind, sympathetic, compassionate and professional. He treated us and my baby Jupiter with such respect, sincerity and dignity. Came and picked her up within the hour we called and kept in contact and explained each process and our options thoroughly. He never pressured us into adding anything more or less, simply answered our questions and gave the info for us to make decisions. Mr. Chris, at Pet Passages went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help my best friend say goodbye to her sweet Eddie. Because of the horrific circumstances- within an hour of us calling, he was willing to pick him up and transport Eddie by putting himself in danger to help us get her sweet boy to safety when no other company would. Saying goodbye to a pet is extremely difficult but Chris exceeded professionalism and truly treated her with such kindness and consideration as if he was also mourning her puppy’s loss. I cannot thank him and Pet Passages enough for their amazing services. “Giving pets the dignity they deserve on their final passage” is an understatement for what they did and we will forever be grateful for their kindness through this awful tragedy. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

My parents and I appreciate the respect and care you have provided for us and our hamster. Everything was comfortable even during the hardest time of grief and you made it easier for us knowing that there are other people out there who love little animals as much as the big ones. My dog Spike passed away at home on Sunday evening 2-6-22. Since his vet is in Lake Orion (Orion Animal Hospital/great place), and wanted to donate his meds, I looked for something close to that area. Thankfully, I found Pet Passages, and Chris Mires. He allowed me to come up that next morning to bring him in.Chris is a great guy, very professional and compassionate. Thank you Chris and your team for the care you took of my sweet boy.

I can't thank Chris enough for the love, care and dignity that he showed to my boy Jesse James. 2.5 months ago I spoke with him for the first time as we knew we were getting close to the end of our beloved pet's life. He would always answer or call back very quickly to explain, plan and console. When the time came this past weekend for us to say goodbye after 17 and a half years, they handled everything with grace and empathy. Jesse was returned home to us on a Sunday evening with Chris going above and beyond. Their memorials were beautifully done and though I will miss my boy for the rest of my days, I'm comforted by the fact that I chose the right people to handle this final act of kindness and memorialize him.

Chris Mires made the entire process go smoothly. Not a service I really want to use, but the experience here was the best out of many years of having pets.Chris was empathic, but also professional. We knew our animal was handled with dignity and we knew what stage of the process he was in at all times.Knowing there is a place like this will make the next time a little less stressful.

I don't know if I have enough good words in my vocabulary to describe my experience. Chris is truly amazing at what he does. My pretty Angel dog passed away from a brain tumor in January. He answered my call on the first ring & right away put me at ease during a very painful time. Even made me laugh a little, which I needed. He didn't try to sell me on things I didn't want. And when he picked her up from the vet's office, he showed so much care & compassion while handling her that even my vet was impressed & will be recommending him to other grieving pet parents! My best friend came home from work to her Chihuahua, Boss passing away and was very upset and distraught. After looking online we tried calling a different place first that was nowhere near as accommodating, so she gave 'Pet Passages' a call. Not only did they drive from Lake Orion all the way to Hazel Park during after-hours on a Sunday and pick Boss up, but the owner- who arrived was so polite and caring. He walked us through the entire process and our options, and we were notified every step of the way. I would highly recommend this company if ever the time comes where you would need such a service.

My pet passed away unexpectedly at home. Since she was a bigger breed and I thought about cremation. I called after hours to leave a message for services and Chris answered the phone. He walked me through all the steps after hours and he is the most caring person I have ever met. He arrived early the next morning and picked up our family friend and in a very respectful way and allowed my wife the time she needed to say goodbye. From start to finish he will not rush one step of anything he does. He wants you to be 100% comfortable that you have the time you need. I can not give Pet Passages service enough praise.

This is the service no one ever wants to need.. but the day came for us and I was entirely unprepared. After our girl passed at home in the middle of the night we called the vet in the morning to see if they had a recommendation for a cremation service. They recommended Chris and Pet Passages. We called and left a message during off hours and Chris returned our call at 9:01a. He was thoughtful and compassionate and showed much dignity towards our loss and girl. He invited us to bring her there immediately which is what we were hoping to hear. The entire process from there on out was prompt, seamless, clear and very professional. Highly recommend for anyone needing this service. And if you are.. our hearts go out to you. What a loss but so thankful to have had one less thing to worry about which is while we waited to bring our girl home to her final resting place, we knew she was in the best care.

If you have a beloved animal who has passed or you have to say goodbye to, do not hesitate to get in touch with Pet Passages. Chris and Lauren are incredibly understanding, calm and compassionate people. When the time came for our family to make the decision to say goodbye to our 14 year-old dog Danny, I knew Pet Passages would take great care of him in a dignified way. We chose to have Dr. Matero (mobile veterinarian) come to the house so he would be comfortable, surrounded by his family. She was amazing. From there, Pet Passages picked him up at our home. They even let us tuck his favorite toy in with him. The online system they use to track the progress of the cremation was appreciated. We had Danny back home to us within two days, in a beautiful box with his name engraved on it and cards with his nose and paw prints. Even though it was a sad moment, it was made less stressful thanks to the team at Pet Passages.

*** Updating my rating after Jake quickly responded and took action to make things right after seeing my review. Apparently he was out of town and some things didn’t go as they should have. His response didn’t change what happened, but he did what he could to make it up to me so I want to improve my stars given from 3 to 5. The new urn looks great. (He didn’t ask me to do this either). ***Didn’t let me know when my dog’s remains were ready. They claim to have a 72 hour guaranteed turn around, yet I had to call after a week passed and no contact. And then I got a text 20 minutes after leaving my voice mail. It had a smiley face in it said her remains were ready. No apology for forgetting to contact me (and the smiley face felt really inappropriate under the circumstances). When I picked up her remains today, I asked Jake why no one contacted me. He said there was some glitch and the automated email didn’t go out until this morning, which was 9 days after I left her. Seems like they would wonder why no one had claimed her remains and they would pick up the phone and call me. This is a very heartbreaking and personal process. It should be handled with compassion by a person; not an automated e-mail. What good is a 72 hour guarantee if they don’t honor it? Also her name didn’t print well on the top of her urn box. She deserved a better final goodbye.

First, if you are reading this I want to say I am sorry for your loss. But you have come to the right place. I called at 9:30pm just expecting to leave a message and not hear from anyone until the next day. I was wrong. I got a call back within 30 minutes and Chris walked me through everything I needed to know. Our beloved toy poodle Penelope of 10 years suddenly passed without warning that evening. We were all devastated and not knowing what to do. Chris came high recommend from a friend. We are so glad we were able to get our pup a proper cremation and feel comfortable that she was being taken well care of while in their care. They treat the furry family members with so much respect. I highly recommend Pet Passages as well as the services of Dr. Erin Matero. I first went to Pet Passages with my cat when she died unexpectedly at home. Chris was so professional and kind that we decided to return when it was time for our dog, this time with Dr. Matero providing euthanasia. His passing was humane, intimate, and peaceful. All communication was clear and sensitive and the care provided was worth the price.

We are so great full we found Pet Passages and Chris Mires. Are hearts were broken when our little dog, Riley, passed away at home on December 1. We brought her to his location not really knowing what to expect. Chris met us in the parking lot and brought Riley into one of his viewing rooms so we could have to some time to say our last goodbyes. His office and viewing rooms are so nice and comfortable. He gave us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. He is truly a kind and compassionate man. I would highly recommend him and his company for anyone else facing what we did. Honestly, I don’t even know how to express the amount of compassion and cooperation Chris had gave my family and I after losing our pup just last week. Baxter was our first puppy and had passed unexpectedly and this made it hard to arrange his cremation as I wasn’t familiar with the process nor did I trust it. I called a few pet cremation company before Pet Passages and had asked to be present during the cremation process to ensure I will be receiving my baby’s ashes back, but was told they will have to get back to me on that or no. I called Pet Passages around 5am and Chris picked up. Chris listened to me and gave me the time I needed to explain to him on exactly how I want to have Baxter’s cremation. I wanted a funeral service with my family a viewing of Baxter and I wanted to be present for the cremation. He did not hesitate at all on any of my request and did all he could to help achieve what I have asked for such as providing a screen for a slide show, engraving Baxter’s urn the way I wanted it, and accommodating to the amount of people present for Baxter’s funeral. The day he notified me he retrieved Baxter’s body, I later called him last minute to see if I can come see my puppy privately the day before the service and he had Baxter laid out ready for me to see. He went through the whole cremation process with me step by step and allowed me to be present if I wanted to. Chris really made me felt as if Baxter was his only priority. Losing my puppy was the hardest, but Chris allowed me to have the peace I needed to cremate him. Thank you.

if i could give this place more then 5 stars i would they took such good care of our beloved covid they put her ashes in this beautiful black bag with beautiful writing on it and they put in this gorgeous red wood box with her name on it and they gave us her paw print and her nose print and the man who helped us was chris he was so polite and he took great care of her. he could feel and see how upset we were when we walked in and dropped her off and picked her up thank you.

We had to put our girl Maumau down after she was diagnosed with feline leukemia virus infection. We called many cremation places and Pet passages was the only one that offered us the opportunity to witness our baby girl go. We really appreciated all the exceptional services we received from Chris here. We were able to see our Maumau go into the cremator and press the start button. Being able to see her until the very last minute meant so much to us. I don’t want any pet parents to ever need this service. But if unfortunately you do, I would highly recommend pet passages. We recently lost our family dog unexpectedly. I've never had a pet cremated before and didn't know what to expect, the cremation was our sons request and since she was a rather large dog, we obliged. We had a wonderful experience with Pet Passages. I contacted Chris on a Saturday after my pet passed, and he picked up the body a few hours later. A couple days later, we had a viewing and a private cremation. Chris handled all the details exceedingly well. The building that Pet Passages doesn't look like much on the outside (part of a complex of commercial suites), but very nice on the inside.All in all, a great experience, very inexpensive, I whole heartedly recommend checking them out for your pet.

It was very hard to decide when to have our dog euthanized, but it was not hard to choose Pet Passages in Lake Orion to cremate her; and it was a good choice. Chris was very understanding and definitely put our feelings first. He would not even discuss payment until after he had started the process. At all times he was understanding and professional and respectful of our dog. While I am sure sometimes the process takes as long as they say it will, in our case everything was complete in just over a day. We could not have been more satisfied. If it matters to you the price he charges is quite good compared to other options you have.

Losing my little guy has broken me. Much more than I ever thought and this process has been one of the hardest things I've ever done. After calling around to see what options there are, Chris of Pet Passages in Lake Orion, was 100% the obvious choice. We were greeted by Chris right on time and were led into a private room so I could spend a little bit more time with him. I went back in a few times. I was worried about a few different things but Chris was so amazing and explained how everything works, step by step. I would recommend Chris and Pet Passages to anyone dealing with losing their fur baby. Chris was incredibly kind, sympathetic, compassionate and professional. He treated us and my baby Jupiter with such respect, sincerity and dignity. Came and picked her up within the hour we called and kept in contact and explained each process and our options thoroughly. Chris was so comforting at a time when you don't know what to do. My Buddy passed away at home, on SaturdatY at 10:00 pm. This is the worst time. Called a vet facilities for advice. Was told it would be well over $200.00. My Buddie had already passed, no injection required. I decided to wait till morning. Called Pet Passages Sunday morning,They did not hesitate for pickup. The owner Chris has found his calling. When he says he is available 24/7 he means it. Called the company number and he answered. Offered to pick Jacob up as it is part of their services. We brought him to him. I know with 100% confidence Jake was cremated by himself. He gives you plenty of time to say good bye. Many different options to help you remember your pet. Our beloved Napoleon was tragically taken from us. He was an awesome kitty. I have never been in a situation like this before so we didnt know what to do with him. Usually most people bury their pets in the back yard but wasn't an option for us. We couldn't just discard him..so we had him cremated and will scatter his ashes. Given the heartbreaking situation we were blessed to find Pet Passages. They came and picked him up for us and took special care and treated him with utmost dignity he deserved. They even took a paw print for us we can memorialize. Chris understood Napoleon was family and treated him and us as such. The cost was reasonable with many options available to help us through this tragedy and heartbreak. I hope none of you are faced with something like this but if you are I would highly recommend Pet Passages in Lake Orion.

Yesterday I had to find a place to cremate our family baby Bebe! I called all the way from Chicago to set it up because everything happen so fast. My aunt said she needed to find a place, and I told her I would. I called and Chris was an angel! His compassion with me over the phone was heart warming. My best friend came home from work to her Chihuahua, Boss passing away and was very upset and distraught. After looking online we tried calling a different place first that was nowhere near as accommodating, so she gave 'Pet Passages' a call. Not only did they drive from Lake Orion all the way to Hazel Park during after-hours on a Sunday and pick Boss up, but the owner- who arrived was so polite and caring. He walked us through the entire process and our options, and we were notified every step of the way. I would highly recommend this company if ever the time comes where you would need such a service.

My pet passed away unexpectedly at home. Since she was a bigger breed and I thought about cremation. I called after hours to leave a message for services and Chris answered the phone. He walked me through all the steps after hours and he is the most caring person I have ever met. He arrived early the next morning and picked up our family friend and in a very respectful way and allowed my wife the time she needed to say goodbye. From start to finish he will not rush one step of anything he does. He wants you to be 100% comfortable that you have the time you need. I can not give Pet Passages service enough praise.

Pet Passages in Lake Orion is amazing. My Baby cat Bam bam passed suddenly last week. They came to my house the very next day, picked him up, gave me an online login to their website so I could keep track of Bam bam and know what was going on every step of the way. They treat your pets like family members which is exactly what they are. I can't recommend this place enough!

Chris was great. We had no game plan as to what to do with our beloved doggo once he unfortunately passed recently. Chris was there within half an hour of us calling him (on a sunday night!) and was empathetic, professional and had our little buddy ready for pickup by the next day. Absolutely the highest praise for this Company. 10 Stars class act. Very accommodating & sympathy. I believe they run a higher class of perfection then a human funeral home. we were able to pick up the ashes of our beautiful quinn today. i couldn’t imagine putting her in the care of anyone else, we’re extremely thankful for this company. they handled our baby with such compassion &we got her remains back just after 24 hours after they picked her up. hopefully we won’t have to use this service again for a long time but when we inevitably need to, we will be going through this amazing business. thank you again for everything!

Honestly, I don’t even know how to express the amount of compassion and cooperation Chris had gave my family and I after losing our pup just last week. Baxter was our first puppy and had passed unexpectedly and this made it hard to arrange his cremation as I wasn’t familiar with the process nor did I trust it. I called a few pet cremation company before Pet Passages and had asked to be present during the cremation process to ensure I will be receiving my baby’s ashes back, but was told they will have to get back to me on that or no. I called Pet Passages around 5am and Chris picked up. Chris listened to me and gave me the time I needed to explain to him on exactly how I want to have Baxter’s cremation. I wanted a funeral service with my family a viewing of Baxter and I wanted to be present for the cremation. He did not hesitate at all on any of my request and did all he could to help achieve what I have asked for such as providing a screen for a slide show, engraving Baxter’s urn the way I wanted it, and accommodating to the amount of people present for Baxter’s funeral. The day he notified me he retrieved Baxter’s body, I later called him last minute to see if I can come see my puppy privately the day before the service and he had Baxter laid out ready for me to see. He went through the whole cremation process with me step by step and allowed me to be present if I wanted to. Chris really made me felt as if Baxter was his only priority. Losing my puppy was the hardest, but Chris allowed me to have the peace I needed to cremate him. Thank you.

if i could give this place more then 5 stars i would they took such good care of our beloved covid they put her ashes in this beautiful black bag with beautiful writing on it and they put in this gorgeous red wood box with her name on it and they gave us her paw print and her nose print and the man who helped us was chris he was so polite and he took great care of her. he could feel and see how upset we were when we walked in and dropped her off and picked her up thank you.

We had to put our girl Maumau down after she was diagnosed with feline leukemia virus infection. We called many cremation places and Pet passages was the only one that offered us the opportunity to witness our baby girl go. We really appreciated all the exceptional services we received from Chris here. We were able to see our Maumau go into the cremator and press the start button. Being able to see her until the very last minute meant so much to us. I don’t want any pet parents to ever need this service. But if unfortunately you do, I would highly recommend pet passages. We recently lost our family dog unexpectedly. I've never had a pet cremated before and didn't know what to expect, the cremation was our sons request and since she was a rather large dog, we obliged. I could not be more touched by how the entire process was handled. Chris was caring and respectful. They even came and picked her up. We had a wonderful experience with Pet Passages. I contacted Chris on a Saturday after my pet passed, and he picked up the body a few hours later. A couple days later, we had a viewing and a private cremation. Chris handled all the details exceedingly well. The building that Pet Passages doesn't look like much on the outside (part of a complex of commercial suites), but very nice on the inside.All in all, a great experience, very inexpensive, I whole heartedly recommend checking them out for your pet.

Chiefs " Nitro" King, Passed away at home on Nov 22nd 2020 at the age of 8 There is so much to this story but I will make it short. On Nov 20th Nitro was diagnosed with Lymphoma, Given 2-8 months to live. I knew on Sat Nov 21st Nitro was not going to make it. Nitro was a special dog for my dad my grandson and my family. I knew that I could not take Nitro to the Vet and hand him over to be layed to rest. I prayed and prayed he pass peacefully at home, In the meantime I was looking all over the internet for a place that would be able to cremate him. I live in Owosso Michigan, When Pets Passage came up in Lake Orion i KNEW i found our Angel ( Chris Miers ) From Pets Passages. I contacted him Saturday night and he told me if something happened to call and he would work something out. The next morning at 7:30 I called, Chris was at my house within 3 1/2 hours. I can not explain the most remarkable, amazing, way that Chris treated me and Nitro. Nitro was given the utmost respect and handled so gently I wanted to Video tape this because it was so beautiful. Chris was so comforting at a time when you don't know what to do. My Buddy passed away at home, on SaturdatY at 10:00 pm. This is the worst time. Called a vet facilities for advice. Was told it would be well over $200.00. My Buddie had already passed, no injection required. I decided to wait till morning. Called Pet Passages Sunday morning,They did not hesitate for pickup. Was not pressured into any decisions. I have told every one about this remarkable facility.Thank you Chris.

The owner Chris has found his calling. When he says he is available 24/7 he means it. Called the company number and he answered. Offered to pick Jacob up as it is part of their services. We brought him to him. I know with 100% confidence Jake was cremated by himself. He gives you plenty of time to say good bye. Many different options to help you remember your pet. Our beloved Napoleon was tragically taken from us. He was an awesome kitty. I have never been in a situation like this before so we didnt know what to do with him. Usually most people bury their pets in the back yard but wasn't an option for us. We couldn't just discard him..so we had him cremated and will scatter his ashes. Given the heartbreaking situation we were blessed to find Pet Passages. They came and picked him up for us and took special care and treated him with utmost dignity he deserved. They even took a paw print for us we can memorialize. Chris understood Napoleon was family and treated him and us as such. The cost was reasonable with many options available to help us through this tragedy and heartbreak. I hope none of you are faced with something like this but if you are I would highly recommend Pet Passages in Lake Orion.

Yesterday I had to find a place to cremate our family baby Bebe! I called all the way from Chicago to set it up because everything happen so fast. My aunt said she needed to find a place, and I told her I would. I called and Chris was an angel! His compassion with me over the phone was heart warming. He not only picked up our baby, but his compassion with my aunt who is distraught was so comforting. The Urn and keepsakes that we received were beautiful!
