We lost our precious 19 year old cat early this past Sunday morning. To say we were devastated is an understatement but we contacted Life Tails and Joe graciously met us early on a Sunday morning. He was kind and compassionate and gave me a little extra time to say a final goodbye to my sweet girl. We were contacted a couple days later to let us know she was ready to come home. A snow storm was rolling in and I wouldn't have made it to get her before they closed for the day. Brett offered to go above and beyond and brought her to me at work because "she needed to be back home with her momma" 😭. He brought her to me, gave me a big hug and let a stranger sob on his shoulder in the middle of a blizzard. Never in my life have I seen such care, kindness and compassion from a complete stranger. Thank you so very much, Brett, Joe and the rest of the staff at Life Tails. You have no idea how much this meant to me after having the worst week of my life. Thank you for taking such good care of not only my baby, but also her parents ❤️

I lost my precious 21 year old cat Mario on 12/31/23. Even though it was a holiday, they met me there to take him in. They were very kind and helpful in assisting me through the process. We had an appointment scheduled with another funeral home to have our cat cremated, but when we arrived no one was there to help us. We called Life Tails and they were able to take her in immediately, saving us a lot of panic. The process was easy and a lot less expensive than we thought. Her caretakers were respectful and kind, they made us feel like they cared about her too. We also really appreciated the frequent updates about the cremation, urn, and name plate status. When it was time to pick her up, it was quick and we were given a tote bag to carry her urn in. We can't thank Life Tails enough for saving us when we didn't know where to go, and making us feel warm and welcome. Thank you so much for caring for our baby.

They gave my cat as much love and respect as they do for their human clientele. The life tail was a sweet touch that is unique to this service. All my questions were answered I never felt rushed or pressured into 'buying up'. When it came time to bring my cat home, I was able to sit down with the staff member who asked me about him and allowed me to share my memories and videos of my furry family member. Again, I never felt rushed even if it went past 5pm. Thanks for making such a dark day a little easier to manage.

The staff at Betzler Funeral Home (Life Tails Pet Cremation) handled the final arrangements for our beloved family member BoBo when he recently passed unexpectedly. Obviously I was not in a good emotional place when we brought him in, however, the staff was so kind, patient and assured us that BoBo would be handled with the utmost care. They explained their process in detail in order to put our minds at ease that his remains would not be mixed with others during the cremation. Although I miss my little buddy more than words can express, it helped lessen the stress knowing that he was cared for in a capacity of genuine care and respect. The urn was beautiful and the life story was written just as I had wished. His paw print keepsake I hold dear to my heart. I will not hesitate to contact them in the future if we were to unfortunately lose another beloved family member.

I've been meaning to write this reviewOn July 10th, 2023 I had to make arrangements for my 23 year old ferocious lady beast Dr. Chim RichaldsNobody slipped the memo that 14 years after rescuing an old ornery cat she would actually age. Her timelessness became a star trait.She lived in 4 states and 16 cities, from the olympic mountains of Washington, the foothills of southern Oregon, and the inside of every business I built. Her last years were spent in the forests of Van Buren county and she truly lived her dream.I'm a larger man at 6'1" 215lbs, and being heavily tattooed with permanent gold teeth forces alot of assumptions about me. I spent days prior without sleeping trying to make her as comfortable as possible until that monday when we could visit the hospital as she was begging me for help.By the time we made to life tales, she had been in my arms for the last few hours of her life and I certainly wasn't clean or presentable and hadn't slept in 48 hours.I'm only mentioning these last few paragraphs to put in context how well we were treated.I had requested a cremation so we could drive coast to coast and bury one of her whiskers at sunrise and sunset, and they were not only very helpful,understanding, but got her ready for me early to help.Thank you for treating us with dignityAnd to Brett personally thank you, here is a picture of Dr. Chim just a few months earlier as promised

We are so grateful that Life Tails Pet Cremation was an end of life option for our little dog Rose. Life Tails responded quickly to our loss. They provided a caring, quality service. I uploaded Rose’s photos and life narrative to the Life Tails website. They did an excellent job organizing those pictures around Rose’s written life story. I first want to say, I didn't know we have any place here in Kalamazoo for pet cremation. I'm so happy a co worker told me about your facility and all that offers for those we love when is time to pass. I still cry often for my little Rocky that passed at almost 19 yrs of age, so many great memories. I miss him very much. We put down our beloved 14 year old dog on 11/29. It was one of the hardest days of my life and I am still a wreck over it. We have had the loving service for 2 of our sweet girls (cockers) and now... here in February of 2023... when our 13 year old Betsy died in her sleep Joe came as quickly as possible to pick her up. He was so gentle & tender....he respected that we thought of our Betsy as family in every way and he was just so kind through our tears. Never once did he show any impatience. He treated our dear little soul Betsy just as if she would have belonged to him. It's hard for me to find the words to explain my appreciation and gratitude for Life Tails and the staff!!! When my dog ( Giuseppe ) my best friend, died at 4 am...they were actually there when i called. They stayed on the phone with me while I sobbed like a baby for awhile and consoled me. After I pulled myself together we made arrangements to get Giuseppe to them for cremation. They handle him and me with such care that i can never thank them enough for!!! This was one of the hardest thing for me and they stood right by me every second with open arms and warm words!!! The life story they put together about Giuseppe was spot on and beautiful. Life Tails made an incredibly difficult time a small bit easier. You can tell that the staff really care about and understand what you're going through. Everything from the way they handle phone calls, to the kindness they show in person, helped me to feel more at ease when leaving my cat with them. They were incredibly accommodating and treated my pet with all the respect I hoped for.The price here is notably a bit higher than some other places, but I absolutely think it is worth it if you can afford it. They track everything from the moment you walk in the door so you can be sure to get your beloved pet back, and even their most affordable option comes with a beautiful urn and a touching memorial. I can't recommend them enough.

I highly recommend Life Tails. I saw their brochure at our vet several years ago and knew who we would be going with at the final time. They tag your pet from beginning to end, so you know for certain the ashes you receive are your pets.The staff is so professional and treated our precious pet with dignity and respect. They are pet parents, too, so they understand our love for our furbaby. We placed her in a nice box and kissed her and pet her and said or final goodbyes. My little Sienna means the whole world to me.Ellie is their therapy dog and she did her job well in offering comfort to us. I would 100% recommend life tails if you are wanting your pet cremated. My dogs are my babies; they mean the world to me. Life tails staff is so thoughtful when it comes to your pets. I had my Maizie euthanized on October 11 later in the evening. They came in special for us to drop Maizie off to them. I appreciate that so much. I love that they type up life tail about your pet. That is so awesome. When I saw Maizie's I starting balling. I love it so much. Thank you guys so much for everything. I really appreciate everything you have done.

I am so glad I chose this place for my beloved cat to be cremated. Joe was very accommodating and professional. Their services are exceptional and I knew my cat was in a safe place and in good hands. They did a great job in making a life tail for my cat out of the few questions I answered. Knowing my cat was well taken care of after she passed, makes it a bit easier to deal with the loss.

I called Life Tails in an emergency situation when my 7 mo. puppy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on a Saturday morning. I had no idea where to go or who to call and felt a bit frantic, but the gentleman I spoke with explained the options for me, expressed his remorse for my loss, and left me feeling at ease with the next steps for my pup. As the Dad of a household who just lost our family dog of 11 years, I can't express what a wonderful service Life Tails provides. We knew our Macie was nearing her end and I got both the responsibility of calling the vet to schedule putting her to sleep, and figuring everything else out, like what to do right after we all just said goodbye and watched her pass away. Our dear Henry passed away unexpectedly in our home in the early evening. Patrick made a special trip into town and waited until we arrived with Henry's remains. We lost our big bear early Sunday morning. I was a hot mess when I called Lifetails to get more information about their services early afternoon on Sunday. They let me know that the staff that is in charge of cremation and arrangements would be in monday to give me more information. Within 20 minutes (on Sunday!) I received a call back from the director who went through their process with me, answered all of my questions and was so willing to accommodate whatever we needed to put Koda to rest.We opted to deliver our dog to them ourselves so we could get some closure. Lifetails supplied us with a container to pick him up, as well as a secondary option should he not fit in their largest container. We dropped him off Monday at 3pm, and expected to get him back either Thursday or Friday. On Tuesday we received a call that Koda was ready to go home. Everyone there was so kind and they did a amazing job accommodating my special request for a few ink paw prints as well as a clay one.I would highly recommend them to everyone and am so thankful to all that were involved in getting Koda home to us as soon as possible!

When our cat Rizzo died, they were a recommendation for pet cremation. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and respectful. Cremation packages are a great value for the price. Life Tails made an incredibly difficult time a small bit easier. You can tell that the staff really care about and understand what you're going through. Everything from the way they handle phone calls, to the kindness they show in person, helped me to feel more at ease when leaving my cat with them. They were incredibly accommodating and treated my pet with all the respect I hoped for.The price here is notably a bit higher than some other places, but I absolutely think it is worth it if you can afford it. They track everything from the moment you walk in the door so you can be sure to get your beloved pet back, and even their most affordable option comes with a beautiful urn and a touching memorial. I can't recommend them enough.

I highly recommend Life Tails. I saw their brochure at our vet several years ago and knew who we would be going with at the final time. They tag your pet from beginning to end, so you know for certain the ashes you receive are your pets.The staff is so professional and treated our precious pet with dignity and respect. They are pet parents, too, so they understand our love for our furbaby. We placed her in a nice box and kissed her and pet her and said or final goodbyes. My little Sienna means the whole world to me.Ellie is their therapy dog and she did her job well in offering comfort to us. I would 100% recommend life tails if you are wanting your pet cremated. My dogs are my babies; they mean the world to me. Life tails staff is so thoughtful when it comes to your pets. I had my Maizie euthanized on October 11 later in the evening. They came in special for us to drop Maizie off to them. I appreciate that so much. I love that they type up life tail about your pet. That is so awesome. When I saw Maizie's I starting balling. I love it so much. Thank you guys so much for everything. I really appreciate everything you have done.

I am so glad I chose this place for my beloved cat to be cremated. Joe was very accommodating and professional. Their services are exceptional and I knew my cat was in a safe place and in good hands. They did a great job in making a life tail for my cat out of the few questions I answered. Knowing my cat was well taken care of after she passed, makes it a bit easier to deal with the loss.

I HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH LIFE TAILS CREMATION FOR MY CAT SHEEBA. THEY WERE VERY UNDERSTANDING AND SYMPATHETIC TO MY SITUATION. THEY ARE A ONE OF A KIND PLACE. THEY DON'T USE PLASTIC BAGS AND TRACK YOUR PET WITH NUMBERED IDENTIFICATION TAG SO YOU KNOW YOU AREN'T GETTING SCAMMED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.THE STAFF THERE IS GREAT. I called Life Tails in an emergency situation when my 7 mo. puppy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on a Saturday morning. I had no idea where to go or who to call and felt a bit frantic, but the gentleman I spoke with explained the options for me, expressed his remorse for my loss, and left me feeling at ease with the next steps for my pup. As the Dad of a household who just lost our family dog of 11 years, I can't express what a wonderful service Life Tails provides. We knew our Macie was nearing her end and I got both the responsibility of calling the vet to schedule putting her to sleep, and figuring everything else out, like what to do right after we all just said goodbye and watched her pass away. We lost our big bear early Sunday morning. I was a hot mess when I called Lifetails to get more information about their services early afternoon on Sunday. They let me know that the staff that is in charge of cremation and arrangements would be in monday to give me more information. Within 20 minutes (on Sunday!) I received a call back from the director who went through their process with me, answered all of my questions and was so willing to accommodate whatever we needed to put Koda to rest.We opted to deliver our dog to them ourselves so we could get some closure. Lifetails supplied us with a container to pick him up, as well as a secondary option should he not fit in their largest container. We dropped him off Monday at 3pm, and expected to get him back either Thursday or Friday. On Tuesday we received a call that Koda was ready to go home. Everyone there was so kind and they did a amazing job accommodating my special request for a few ink paw prints as well as a clay one.I would highly recommend them to everyone and am so thankful to all that were involved in getting Koda home to us as soon as possible!
