We had an exceptional experience with Trusted Journey when we recently had our cat, Claire, cremated. The process started with filling out the basic form at the emergency vet when we had her euthanized. The communication process was seamless between the ER vet and Trusted Journey, where we promptly received the email request to provide our cremation wishes. To save time and hassle, we also used Trusted Journey to order the urn and nameplate rather than go through a third party. EVERYTHING was above our expectations! Beautiful urn (including the packaging!), beautiful paw print, prompt service and communication, and friendly staff when we picked up her ashes. We were hesitant when we found out Sleepy Hollow is now run by Trusted Journey, but we are so pleased and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

We had to make the decision no pet parent wants to make. We had to say goodbye to our sweet boy Frankie. He went across the rainbow bridge last Saturday. Trusted Journey took the best care of him, he’s already back home with us. You can tell how much care they put into everything you receive, his urn is beautiful and the clay paw print….was perfect, I have no words how much it meant to have that. They provided all the information to keep track of his whole journey back to us so we wouldn’t have to wonder. It was a smooth process during a very difficult time. I can’t thank them enough for everything.

I recently had two ferrets, who died around 3 months of each other, cremated at this facility, and my experience was nothing short of infuriating. They were both the same size and weight, they were brothers their weight was at most a couple grams different when they were alive, if anything the ferret that had less ashes was slightly heavier. The ashes from one ferret came back at 86 grams, which I thought seemed like a lot for a 3-pound ferret but didn't want to think about it being the wrong ashes. However, the other, and most recent ferret's ashes weighed only 24 grams. To make matters worse, the ashes of the ferret that weighed 24 grams were not sealed properly. Also, both ashes were ground completely differently. One very finely ground and the other very chunky and coarse.Everyone I spoke to, including the front desk lady, confirmed that such a drastic difference in ash weight isn't normal. Yet, the manager tried to brush it off as a "bone density" issue. This explanation is both insulting and unacceptable. The lack of consistency and proper handling is appalling.I trusted this crematorium to handle my pets with care and dignity, but they failed miserably. If you value transparency and respect for your pet's remains, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. This place clearly doesn't uphold the standards it should. Also, the foot prints from each ferret were very different in quality.

Our experience with Trusted Journey was nothing but good. They were very kind and easy to talk to on the phone. We were able to add a couple keepsakes on and got everything back in a timely manner, even with the holidays in there. Everything looks great and I appreciate that they made this tough process easier.

So sad. Had several pets cremated with Sleepy Hollow and they were always so compassionate and kind. Not the case with this Trusted Journey. The woman who I believe runs this place and sits to the left of the door when you walk in is so unpleasant. My Dad didn't even get his twenty year old dogs paw print. We've had so many pets here cremated with Sleepy Hollow in the past, they were so kind and compassionate. Its cold and heartless now.

Writing this review pains me, because we used Sleepy Hollow for years when we needed to make final arrangements for our pets. Their service was top notch, their owners were compassionate and caring. And their prices were incredibly affordable for the services they provided. We've had them come for pick ups at night, on holidays, and in horrific circumstances. I've recommended them to friends for years.Unfortunately today when we found our eldest cat had passed peacefully at home, we were surprised to find out Sleepy Hollow had been bought out by a regional corporate conglomerate, and the new management company had gotten obscenely greedy with prices. No more semi-private cremation options. Now the only option to receive cremains back is with private services, with the lowest price for an adult pet being $270 for 4-20lbs. Need them to pick your pet up from home? That starts at $345.The clay paw prints that used to be included in the srvices are now $57 additional. A clipping of your pet's fur? That will run you $27.We found another facility in West Michigan that will be taking care of our cat's final arrangements for under $100.It's a shame that greed won out over a company that had built community trust based on integrity.

We unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our first furchild, despite it being the hardest thing, everyone at Sleepy Hollow was so compassionate, caring and gentle hearted. I would recommend them to anyone who has to make the hard decision of saying goodbye to their furry family member.

One of my ferrets passed and my mother took him up to get cremated due to me being at work. We've been going here for years way back when it was privately owned. They have always been amazing to work with. My mother called me and told me they wanted over $200 for JUST the cremation! And everything else is a lot extra. It's all a money grab now due to them being corporate ran now. It's completely gone down hill and absolutely ridiculous! My cat cost around $300 even then it was a lot. But they gave us an urn, paw prints and fur clippings. We will be looking for a new place.

My dog had to be euthanized on a Thursday night. I filled out the paperwork at the vet to have her cremated and her ashes returned. The vet office entered my email wrong, even though they were supposed to verify it. I never got the emails then sent. Their system automatically turns it to a communal cremation if nothing is done within the 72 hr window, even though if they pull it up it shows a request for private. I reached out 2 weeks after euthanasia wondering if there was any follow up. They explained that my dog had been communally cremated and buried. I called back wondering why they didn't call me before just going ahead on the decision to communally cremate. I was upset and crying, and trying to understand how their automated system failed, and the woman on the phone was very harsh and eventually just hung up on me.I had a custom urn already on the way, and my dog's ashes are mixed with a bunch of other ashes and buried in their cemetery.I understand it wasn't entirely their fault, but the woman could've been more tactful and sensitive about the matter on the phone.From now on I will be taking any pets to be cremated elsewhere when the time comes.I had prviously had a good experience with them and would've recommended them. They came out to pick up a previous pet that passed at home (a 140 lb Saint Bernard) because she was too heavy to lift by myself. Everything with that experience was greatThis experience of my dog being cremated and buried communnally against my specified wishes and the lack of sensitivity when I enquired into how to prevent this in the future was utterly irreparable. I am devastated.

I'm extremely disappointed with your service..you cremated Ellie in March for $275.00 and I got a paw print..my other dog Shy-shy had to be put down Sept 13th and the price went up nearly $100.00 and I didn't even get a paw print...I will NOT use your service again and will tell all my pet owner friends not to use your company. I feel like I should have gotten a discount bc I'm a repeat customer...not a higher price for less service😡

After the second loss of one of our furry family members, my sister and I were treated with great care and compassion both on the phone and in person. I was very happy to be given the amount of memorial options that they offered us for our dog’s cremation. When my first dog was cremated at another facility, the options offered to my family were minimal and we took our first dog’s ashes home in an urn similar to a coffee can. Through Trusted Journey my Sister and I were able to choose a beautiful and special urn for our second dog that they were able to engrave on the same day. I’m beyond thankful to have been able to honor the memory of our pet properly and for the staff for ensuring we were comfortable when taking our furry family member home.

A week before Christmas my Susie, who was 18 years old, passed away at home. I had to bring her in and I was a wreck. The ladies who greeted me were so kind and compassionate and helped me through the process. I was so surprised when they called the next day to say she could come home. I had told them we had only been apart a few days in 18 years and it was so hard to leave her there. They made sure she could be back with me as quick as possible and I am so grateful for that. We used Sleepy Hollow in 2021 after our German Shepherd unexpectedly passed away at home. They met us late in the evening at the facility so we wouldn't have to keep her body at home in the heat. They were very friendly and understanding. We just used them again but this time they picked up our pup from the emergency hospital. Now Trusted Journey, the process was just as smooth. I appreciated that we got to pick an urn this time and still got our dog's paw print. The staff was very kind on the phone and in person. Highly recommend from our family.

This business did everything in their power to soothe the pain of the loss of my bearded dragon. I only paid for cremation services but was also given a beautiful carved box urn, his paw prints embossed in ceramic all wonderfully packaged. My one year old dog Velvet recently unexpectedly passed away and the staff was so kind and caring. Not sure who I spoke to but she was an angel and referred to my dog as my baby (which Velvet absolutely was, so this made me smile). I've had rats too for many years and always take them here when they pass and I've had such a wonderful experience every time with Sleepy Hollow/Trusted Journey. The staff is unbelievably kind and gentle every single time. I really appreciate it and am very grateful for the staff here when clients like me are mourning the loss of our beloved pets. When I received my cat, Polly's, ashes back from Sleepy Hollow I was astonished. I've had many pets cremated over the years and while I've never had a bad experience, I've never had one like this. I opened the box and could feel the care and reverence they put into it. Everything was beautifully packaged. They did everything exactly as I requested. There were so many thoughtful details added, that I knew they took care of her, with love. Thank you Sleepy Hollow.

My first initial contact with Sleepy Hollow was in 2018 at the Pet Expo with the General Manager Joel & offhand I’m not sure if the Owner David was there also. This first encounter touched my heart and I knew one day I would have to make that call. Kim & Justin, I can’t thank you enough for how amazing you both are. Kim was in constant contact with me when my Service Dog was being put down a few weeks ago. Justin made sure she was wrapped ever so gently, when carrying her away. Their empathy and compassion says it all. Justin went over the top & brought my girl back home & made sure her paw print was done perfectly! They treat you as if you’re family and he didn’t mind me reaching out to give him a hug thanking him for all he did & how my Service Dog was cared for. I whole heartedly appreciate all of you & what a compassionate business you have. I highly recommend Sleepy Hollow for when that time comes. My heart still hurts knowing she is gone, but having her ashes here at home has me at peace.

I have had several pets cremated at various places around the country as we travel full time and we have never had such quality as we did here. During the most difficult time in my life, Sleepy Hollow was such a comfort. They were kind and informative on the phone which helps so much on an emotional day. They went to the vet to pick up my cat free of charge. They cremated him in a short window of time. But the part that touched me the most was that the care that was put into returning my cat to me. It was a beautiful presentation with a nice tin safely closed, a complimentary paw print with my cat's name on it, poetry for my cat's passing, a kind card, a cat angel pin, and they even set aside some ashes in so we could get a glass blown figure made in a couple weeks. It felt like they really honored my kitty even though they never knew him. I can't thank them enough for their thoughtfulness and for their care. To most people, he was just a pet. To me, it felt like the world should have stopped turning. I finally felt like someone cared and I felt like he was safe with them. 10/10 will use again (God forbid) and recommend to anyone. Thank you, Sleepy Hollow.

This is less of a review and more of a thank you for existing. I unexpectedly lost my dog and figuring out what to do with him was unimaginable, but necessary. I took him there and fell apart in their entryway, knowing just a couple hours prior this situation was unthinkable. I regained my composure enough to make the necessary decisions, but also was in shock and the woman there was so compassionate and caring, she didn't rush me, and she helped me recognize I wasn't alone in that moment. Few times in my life, if any, wrecked me much as that day. You being there to help me through and do right by my boy was a small sliver of light during that dark time. Thank you so much.

I just recently lost my best friend. The two ladies I had contact with at Trusted Journey were absolutely wonderful. They took the time to make sure that I was satisfied with the arrangements I had made. Very compassionate and very caring to make sure that everything was done according to what I wanted.

Sleepy Hollow is absolutely the only place I would trust taking my sweet fur babies. They are SO sweet and accommodating, and really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. They were able to come pick up our our sweet girl at our house and even went out of their way to make sure the font on her urn would match the one we already had for our other baby. I highly recommend them to anyone having to go through this difficult time.

They were compassionate, understanding and so helpful through this process. Wonderful place. Honest and caring individuals. Glad we chose to have our beloved pup of 12 years to be handled upon her death by Joel and his crew. From everything to answering questions on the phone to explaining the entire process when we dropped her off to picking her up to return her to our home, they were compassionate, caring and wonderful to us. After my Kitty passed, I was heartbroken and in anguish. I ordered a small memorial kit from Trusted Journey and what they sent was so wonderful. Losing a loved familiar is never easy, but I would highly recommend the services provided here, as what they send is wonderully empathetic and a beautiful reminder of the compassion that humans are capable of.

Thanks to sleepy hallow, we were able to bring our girl back home before the weekend so we wouldn't have to wait the entire weekend to have her back home. sweet hallow was so amazing to us, even did a paw print before cremation. Thanks to them we will always have her with us. Highly recommend them to anyone who loses a pet!

Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because i appreciate that they offer free urns when you register online. I received conflicting information about how to retrieve my pet's remains. The brochure given by the animal hospital (printed by Truated Journeys) says arrangements are made through the Animal Hospital we visited (that would have been fine as they're only a half hour from my home and are open long hours). Then after completing the form on Trusted Journey's site, I received an email stating the remains would be delivered to my home (that would have been ideal). Then Saturday I received a call saying I have to come pick them up. When I asked Where (I had no idea where the crematorium was, we didn't choose them) the lady scoffed at me and said Byron Center... 45 minutes from home and their weekday hours are 9-5 so no way a full time day-worker can get there meaning we had to go during their brief Saturday hours. We drove down the next weekend and had a very odd experience inside. The woman who assisted us said "baby" at least 10x in the 5 minutes we were there. "What's your baby's name" "I'll go get your baby" "here's the certificate for your baby" "I'm sure your baby had a good life", etc. Yes, I referred to my cat as my fur baby, but this was A LOT. Then she asked if I had other "babies" at home and I said no. She asked if I planned to get another and I started crying and said "I don't think I can go through this again" (it was a difficult decline and we also lost another pet just a few years ago). Instead of respecting what I said, and the fact that I was crying as a result, she launched into why we should adopt another pet, pulls out a booklet of local adoption agencies flips thru it and puts it in my bag, and tells me its what "my baby" would want and that it's "not cheating on them" to get another pet and that other pets need good homes too... We left as quickly as possible and when we got out to the car my soft spoken husband even said "That was really inappropriate. I guess they're a business playing the long game."

Sleepy Hollow has taken care of two dogs for us. It’s never easy to lose a family friend like that and they are amazing, caring and professional. I’m so grateful to know they took care of my dog on his final journey and provided me with a keepsake to remember him by. When I received my cat, Polly's, ashes back from Sleepy Hollow I was astonished. I've had many pets cremated over the years and while I've never had a bad experience, I've never had one like this. I opened the box and could feel the care and reverence they put into it. Everything was beautifully packaged. They did everything exactly as I requested. My first initial contact with Sleepy Hollow was in 2018 at the Pet Expo with the General Manager Joel & offhand I’m not sure if the Owner David was there also. This first encounter touched my heart and I knew one day I would have to make that call. Kim & Justin, I can’t thank you enough for how amazing you both are. Kim was in constant contact with me when my Service Dog was being put down a few weeks ago. Justin made sure she was wrapped ever so gently, when carrying her away. Their empathy and compassion says it all. Justin went over the top & brought my girl back home & made sure her paw print was done perfectly! They treat you as if you’re family and he didn’t mind me reaching out to give him a hug thanking him for all he did & how my Service Dog was cared for. I whole heartedly appreciate all of you & what a compassionate business you have. I highly recommend Sleepy Hollow for when that time comes. My heart still hurts knowing she is gone, but having her ashes here at home has me at peace.

I have had several pets cremated at various places around the country as we travel full time and we have never had such quality as we did here. During the most difficult time in my life, Sleepy Hollow was such a comfort. They were kind and informative on the phone which helps so much on an emotional day. They went to the vet to pick up my cat free of charge. They cremated him in a short window of time. But the part that touched me the most was that the care that was put into returning my cat to me. It was a beautiful presentation with a nice tin safely closed, a complimentary paw print with my cat's name on it, poetry for my cat's passing, a kind card, a cat angel pin, and they even set aside some ashes in so we could get a glass blown figure made in a couple weeks. It felt like they really honored my kitty even though they never knew him. I can't thank them enough for their thoughtfulness and for their care. To most people, he was just a pet. To me, it felt like the world should have stopped turning. I finally felt like someone cared and I felt like he was safe with them. 10/10 will use again (God forbid) and recommend to anyone. This is less of a review and more of a thank you for existing. I unexpectedly lost my dog and figuring out what to do with him was unimaginable, but necessary. I took him there and fell apart in their entryway, knowing just a couple hours prior this situation was unthinkable. I regained my composure enough to make the necessary decisions, but also was in shock and the woman there was so compassionate and caring, she didn't rush me, and she helped me recognize I wasn't alone in that moment. Few times in my life, if any, wrecked me much as that day. You being there to help me through and do right by my boy was a small sliver of light during that dark time. Thank you so much.

Losing my 12 year old dog Liam has been terrible and quite a shock. The staff was incredibly helpful during an incredibly difficult time. I bawled on the phone while talking to them and they were so kind and supportive. They even let me see my dog one more time, which really helped me say goodbye. I was so worried about money right after he passed, but they reassure you and you don’t have to pay until they’ve completed their services. I received his paw print in clay which, to me, is so special. I chose a nice walnut urn that has a spot for a picture in the front and am very happy with that. I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and help. Especially Linda. She is such a sweetheart. Thank you everyone again.

Edit: Sleepy Hollow has reached out to us to rectify the situation. My fiance and I wholeheartedly appreciate their effort and apologies. They shared with us that they had 10 families come in that day, so it had been extraordinarily busy that day. There are future plans to create a private place for people to say goodbye to their loved one, which is wonderful for families who are bringing in their pets rather than having their pet picked up from the vet. There are also plans to make the form available to fill out online, which would be nice to avoid giving the same information several times. Thank you for your care with our Ellie girl.Original review: I contacted Sleepy Hollow for a quote on Thursday and let them know on Friday that we were putting our rabbit down on Friday and would be coming in on Saturday (today) to have our rabbit cremated.We get there today and there are 2 other families. We're holding the body of our bunny in a box and we're handed off to an office staff person who's maybe 20 and has no clue what was going on. She planned on charging us $75 for our rabbit before I informed her that I was told on Friday that our bunny qualified as a pocket pet and would be $40 for a semi-private cremation.We were told we could have as long as we needed with our pet in an area where there's another family making arrangements for a dog being put down on Monday and in full view of people walking in the front door. We weren't told what to do when we were ready to place our pet in their care so we just stood awkwardly in the main room until she came back and took our pet from us.I understand it was busy but the people literally holding their deceased pet should be given someone who knows what they're doing. A majority of the information on the paperwork was information that had been previous given when I requested the quote. This process should have gone much more smoother than it did.We had gone with Sleepy Hollow over another place another because Sleepy Hollow had Saturday hours and I couldn't bear the thought of keeping our beloved bunny on the balcony all weekend until the other place opened on Monday. We have another pet and I think we'll go with the other place next time, even if it means paying an emergency fee so our pet is taken care of on a weekend.

Sleepy Hollow took care of my boy, Ace, and made me feel like he was part of their family too. I called to order an ash-holding pendant and I was sobbing. The woman I spoke to was very compassionate and worked with me, even going so far as to.ask if the pendant I wanted could be engraved on the front. They agreed to put his name on the front of the pendant for me and I LOVE it. I feel like he's always with me. ❤️

It's never easy loosing a pet. And I absolutely recommend this place. My mr kitty was my everything. Losing him unexpectedly was devastating, but from the very beginning they were super understanding and very kind. When I picked him up they gave me a beautiful paw print with his name on it, and some poems that really just touched your heart. After our family dog crossed the rainbow bridge at a local animal hospital, we were given Sleepy Hollow's information and we chose to have him cremated by them. The next day I called and the lady who answered the phone was so kind and helpful. When he was ready to be picked up, they called and let me know and when we picked him up they even had included his paw print in a stone, which I thought was so very kind and nice. At a sad time in my life, Sleepy Hollow took great care of my friend and I know he was treated with the upmost respect and love by the crew at Sleepy Hollow. Unfortunately, I recently had my pet rat cremated here. Sleepy Hollow picked up my pet from the ER clinic where she passed away at and transported her back to their facility. Only took a few days for the whole process to be completed. The receptionist was fantastic. Great, compassionate lady. Very reasonable pricing as well! I would highly recommend this to anyone considering cremation for a beloved pet.

These women Kim and Lesley, in the front office, are absolutely the best. We had to bring our beloved pet in and they and the staff treated him with the utmost respect. I swear, the facility is nicer than any funeral home I have been to and the staff is way more respectful. I wish I could give more that 5 stars. Imagine my surprise and disappointment to see the difference in memory stone quality from 2022 to 2023. The 2022 version was finished in gray sealer and looked finished and nicely done for display. This year is unfinished clay, not smooth to the touch and not looking finished, not as easy to read. The price sure didn’t decrease to match the quality. You leave me, still grieving the loss of my boy trying to figure out how to make my stone look nice. With more older cats I hope the quality changes bask to what it was

This place by far is the best place to go to when your fur baby crosses over the Rainbow Bridge. We have had 2 fur babies pass this past year of old age and Sleepy Hollow was very kind and courteous to us. They treated our babies with such care. Drop off and pick up they were very nice to us and understand how hard these times are. They even provide a foot print and angel pin along with the ashes and certificate of cremation. We will continue to use them in these times of passing.

If there were 10 stars to mark, I would have marked 10! Every person I spoke with or helped me, went above and beyond to make sure a very unbelievably sad situation went smoothly. Linda and Kim in the office helping with scheduling and picking out an urn and engraving and Joel and Dave who came and picked up my beautiful dog and companion and made sure he was taken from my home with dignity and care. Everyone was so kind and professional. They made a very difficult time easy and comforting. I cannot express enough how wonderful everyone was to my dog Gus and myself. My babies Oz and Serena have both been cremated at Sleepy Hollow. I am very happy with the whole process from leaving my babies to picking them up. They now both are in my home in beautiful tin containers. I have their footprints and although sadness is still abounding, they were cared for with dignity. I feel them near me.

Earlier this Summer, my girlfriend and I had to put down her beloved Black Labrador, Cooper Romeo. I have never gone through this experience before, and did not expect to grieve as much as I did. My 3 year old Chocolate Lab had never had a best friend before, and there was an empty stillness in my home after Cooper passed. My girlfriend was also extremely sad, as Cooper had been the one constant variable in her life for 10 years. I didn't know how to help my grieving girlfriend, and I was nervous that I would fail.That all changed when we brought Cooper to Sleepy Hollow to be cremated. We met with Joel Fields, the General Manager. To say that he and the receptionist were wonderful would be the understatement of m year. The love that both they and their staff have for animals is evident right from the moment you walk through their doors. They truly understand what large of place in our hearts our animal companions occupy, and we never felt self-conscious about tearing up as we talked about Cooper's life.They offer many ways to remember your pet, we chose to have an imprint of Cooper's paw taken in plaster, and a necklace for my girlfriend to keep some of his ashes in so he is always near her heart. His ashes were put into a very beautiful urn, with his name and years lived on it. As far as remembering our good friend, we were very happy with these options!I don't look forward to my next trip to Sleepy Hollow, and my heart goes out to anyone reading my review, because I know you must be hurting. But be assured that there are compassionate, sympathetic people there to help you through this difficult time in the best way possible :)Love and miss you, Coop! They never have stable prices. I have had two dogs cremated last year giant dogs 90 pounds plus and they now want the same price for my 40 pound dog. They don't know how to keep their good faithful customers

Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because i appreciate that they offer free urns when you register online. I received conflicting information about how to retrieve my pet's remains. The brochure given by the animal hospital (printed by Truated Journeys) says arrangements are made through the Animal Hospital we visited (that would have been fine as they're only a half hour from my home and are open long hours). Then after completing the form on Trusted Journey's site, I received an email stating the remains would be delivered to my home (that would have been ideal). Then Saturday I received a call saying I have to come pick them up. When I asked Where (I had no idea where the crematorium was, we didn't choose them) the lady scoffed at me and said Byron Center... 45 minutes from home and their weekday hours are 9-5 so no way a full time day-worker can get there meaning we had to go during their brief Saturday hours. We drove down the next weekend and had a very odd experience inside. The woman who assisted us said "baby" at least 10x in the 5 minutes we were there. "What's your baby's name" "I'll go get your baby" "here's the certificate for your baby" "I'm sure your baby had a good life", etc. Yes, I referred to my cat as my fur baby, but this was A LOT. Then she asked if I had other "babies" at home and I said no. She asked if I planned to get another and I started crying and said "I don't think I can go through this again" (it was a difficult decline and we also lost another pet just a few years ago). Instead of respecting what I said, and the fact that I was crying as a result, she launched into why we should adopt another pet, pulls out a booklet of local adoption agencies flips thru it and puts it in my bag, and tells me its what "my baby" would want and that it's "not cheating on them" to get another pet and that other pets need good homes too... We left as quickly as possible and when we got out to the car my soft spoken husband even said "That was really inappropriate. I guess they're a business playing the long game."

The lady I dealt with on the phone and in person was very compassionate and comforting. There are two things about my experience that kept me from giving all 5 stars. I was told on the phone that they would call me when my dog's ashes were ready for pickup and no one ever did. When I called to check she had been available for pickup for 4 days and no one told me. The little imprint of my dogs pawprint was precious but I was pretty grossed out that it had the biggest clump of hair stuck to it and it will never come out. I'm not sure if it was my dog's hair or not but I cut what was sticking out off and there's still a bunch of hair stuck in it that will never come out and it can't be redone. It's not really something I want to display now. I'm not sure if I'll use this service again.

Lost my best friend suddenly on a Sunday. I called the emergency line and left a message and was called back within the hour. Someone met me there to take in my fur baby as I started a new job the very next day. This place is amazing and all the people are SO VERY KIND.... I called today Sunday, February 16th because I had lost a dear family member named Cooper. I called the emergency line and Jake called me back right away. He came and personally got Cooper so he could rest in peace. I did not personally go outside to see my dog leave, I had already said my goodbyes. I had watched from the window and Jake was so gentle to my sweet dog. He placed him on a table, cover and buckle him up. He then did a sweet tap of goodbye to Cooper

I came to pick up my cats urn during my lunch break. Right when I walked in I was promptly greeted by an older man and a woman. They took the time to explain the urn to me and did a very nice job with transferring of the ashes and the customization. I was very pleased. What I was the most pleased with was the lady who took the time to talk to me, comfort me, print out a nice poem on the Internet for me, and boxed my urn and put shredded paper in there for padding so it would be ok while driving back to work. I feel awful that I can't remember her name because she made that horrible experience just a little more comforting and I want to thank you for that.

Imagine my surprise and disappointment to see the difference in memory stone quality from 2022 to 2023. The 2022 version was finished in gray sealer and looked finished and nicely done for display. This year is unfinished clay, not smooth to the touch and not looking finished, not as easy to read. The price sure didn’t decrease to match the quality. You leave me, still grieving the loss of my boy trying to figure out how to make my stone look nice. With more older cats I hope the quality changes bask to what it was

This place by far is the best place to go to when your fur baby crosses over the Rainbow Bridge. We have had 2 fur babies pass this past year of old age and Sleepy Hollow was very kind and courteous to us. They treated our babies with such care. Drop off and pick up they were very nice to us and understand how hard these times are. They even provide a foot print and angel pin along with the ashes and certificate of cremation. We will continue to use them in these times of passing.

The level of caring services I received was incredible, there isn't enough good things I could say about them, they sympathize almost as if it was their loved furbaby. Thank you so much. My baby came in a beautiful decorative tin, her paw print with her name carved on it and a Angel dog pin. I highly recommend, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.

If there were 10 stars to mark, I would have marked 10! Every person I spoke with or helped me, went above and beyond to make sure a very unbelievably sad situation went smoothly. Linda and Kim in the office helping with scheduling and picking out an urn and engraving and Joel and Dave who came and picked up my beautiful dog and companion and made sure he was taken from my home with dignity and care. Everyone was so kind and professional. They made a very difficult time easy and comforting. I cannot express enough how wonderful everyone was to my dog Gus and myself. Thank you just doesn't seem like enough.

My babies Oz and Serena have both been cremated at Sleepy Hollow. I am very happy with the whole process from leaving my babies to picking them up. They now both are in my home in beautiful tin containers. I have their footprints and although sadness is still abounding, they were cared for with dignity. I feel them near me.

Earlier this Summer, my girlfriend and I had to put down her beloved Black Labrador, Cooper Romeo. I have never gone through this experience before, and did not expect to grieve as much as I did. My 3 year old Chocolate Lab had never had a best friend before, and there was an empty stillness in my home after Cooper passed. My girlfriend was also extremely sad, as Cooper had been the one constant variable in her life for 10 years. I didn't know how to help my grieving girlfriend, and I was nervous that I would fail.That all changed when we brought Cooper to Sleepy Hollow to be cremated. We met with Joel Fields, the General Manager. To say that he and the receptionist were wonderful would be the understatement of m year. The love that both they and their staff have for animals is evident right from the moment you walk through their doors. They truly understand what large of place in our hearts our animal companions occupy, and we never felt self-conscious about tearing up as we talked about Cooper's life.They offer many ways to remember your pet, we chose to have an imprint of Cooper's paw taken in plaster, and a necklace for my girlfriend to keep some of his ashes in so he is always near her heart. His ashes were put into a very beautiful urn, with his name and years lived on it. As far as remembering our good friend, we were very happy with these options!I don't look forward to my next trip to Sleepy Hollow, and my heart goes out to anyone reading my review, because I know you must be hurting. But be assured that there are compassionate, sympathetic people there to help you through this difficult time in the best way possible :)Love and miss you, Coop! Exceptional customer service. My dog passed and a young gentleman drove in from Grant, Mi. late one night (hour drive). I had a hard enough day as it was but he was so apathetic, understanding, caring and kind. Not to mention the final delivery of my best friend was more than I would have ever expected. They never have stable prices. I have had two dogs cremated last year giant dogs 90 pounds plus and they now want the same price for my 40 pound dog. They don't know how to keep their good faithful customers

They handled my Andre Cremation. There was a slight mishap with the shipping they took care of it and had him personally delivered to my house. The lady I dealt with on the phone and in person was very compassionate and comforting. There are two things about my experience that kept me from giving all 5 stars. I was told on the phone that they would call me when my dog's ashes were ready for pickup and no one ever did. When I called to check she had been available for pickup for 4 days and no one told me. The little imprint of my dogs pawprint was precious but I was pretty grossed out that it had the biggest clump of hair stuck to it and it will never come out. I'm not sure if it was my dog's hair or not but I cut what was sticking out off and there's still a bunch of hair stuck in it that will never come out and it can't be redone. It's not really something I want to display now. I'm not sure if I'll use this service again.

These guys have been amazing in our times of loss. Our fur babies and scaled babies were so well taken car of. I just lost my boy rat thor. He was my everything and he's headed There today. As long as we're in the area we will always use sleepy hollow. The staff is amazing.

Lost my best friend suddenly on a Sunday. I called the emergency line and left a message and was called back within the hour. Someone met me there to take in my fur baby as I started a new job the very next day. This place is amazing and all the people are SO VERY KIND.... They helped me thru what has been the most difficult of times. Highly recommend.

I called today Sunday, February 16th because I had lost a dear family member named Cooper. I called the emergency line and Jake called me back right away. He came and personally got Cooper so he could rest in peace. I did not personally go outside to see my dog leave, I had already said my goodbyes. I had watched from the window and Jake was so gentle to my sweet dog. He placed him on a table, cover and buckle him up. He then did a sweet tap of goodbye to Cooper

I came to pick up my cats urn during my lunch break. Right when I walked in I was promptly greeted by an older man and a woman. They took the time to explain the urn to me and did a very nice job with transferring of the ashes and the customization. I was very pleased. What I was the most pleased with was the lady who took the time to talk to me, comfort me, print out a nice poem on the Internet for me, and boxed my urn and put shredded paper in there for padding so it would be ok while driving back to work. I feel awful that I can't remember her name because she made that horrible experience just a little more comforting and I want to thank you for that.

I have used this facility several times over the years as we typically have multiple pets at a time. They tend to grow up and grow old together and its so hard to let them go! Sleepy Hollows staff makes a very difficult time bearable.
