I cannot say enough wonderful things.We were treated so very kindly from initial contact all the way through pick up. Katie went above and beyond to make our last moments with our cat special. Loved that only one family was there at a time. Office was beautiful and quiet. At pick up I expected just to stop and get the urn at the scheduled time. The staff had a thoughtful card, paw prints, and a candle lit by the urn. Katie helped pack everything up for us to take home. Five star experience during a very difficult time.

Great experience here today, I lost my bearded dragon, Chunk, very suddenly. John was understanding and kind, he somehow knew exactly what we needed during this incredibly difficult time. We were able to bring her in that day by appointment. The business is small but welcoming and calming. We are waiting up to 8 days for her ashes, which is typical. I completely trust this company to take care of Chunk and will be coming back when I need them in the future. Highly recommend, lovely staff.

My dear, sweet, talkative, feathered family member Nick passed away on May 10. Usually, when their time came, I would take our pet to our vet. After being together for 22 years, I felt he deserved to be honored. So I was searching for places that were different than just taking him to the vet and I came across Pawsitive Memories. They provide Aquamation. It’s a gentle, eco-friendly option. I thought what a wonderful thing, and right here on the Cape in Sandwich. I gave them a call and spoke with Katie. She is incredibly kind and compassionate. I made an appointment to drop Nick off and we talked about Nick, and about what I wanted. I asked for some feathers in a glass bottle, Nick had beautiful feathers. I ordered a lovely little keepsake urn for his remains. Katie said he would be finished in 7 to 10 days. When I went to pick his remains up, I walked in to see the most beautiful tribute to my sweet Nick. Katie had lit a candle, and had his urn and his glass bottle with feathers on a white cloth on a table displayed beautifully. I honestly have never seen such a lovely tribute to a pet. I could not thank Katie enough! I will remember the experience always. What a blessing it was to have found Pawsitive Memories and Katie.

I gave pawsitive memories 5 stars I really would loved to give 10 if was possible ‼️ Katie made sure our beloved Mr Bentley was handled with absolute care and you can't help but sense the compassion she has for the grieving families. My family was great full of the time and patience and attention we received. Erik was so thoughtful and kind it made a horrible situation bearable. We have retrieved his ashes, a paw print we had done and a touchstone we had made with his ashes inside, beautiful. Saying goodbye to our 14 year old Maltese, Gemma, was incredibly difficult and overwhelming. We feel grateful to have been referred to Pawsitive Memories by our veterinarian in the midst of our grief, while grappling with end of life decisions for our precious pup. We are thankful to Erik for providing aquamation as a gentler alternative to the traditional methods of cremation. When we arrived to pick up Gemma's ashes, Erik had created a very calm and peaceful environment where a beautiful tribute honoring Gemma's life was on display. Would give more stars if possible for Erik’s sensitivity, professionalism and excellent communication/followups.I started communicating with Erik well in advance of my pup’s passing, which helped cut through a bit of paperwork in advance.When the time came, everything was flawless. Erik was so thoughtful and considerate. My other pup was allowed to enter the room where we said our final goodbyes—a very serene, tastefully decorated family viewing area.Every interaction was seamless and responsive. Pet cremation is a service you don’t look forward to needing to use. But for when that time comes, I’m so thankful that people like Erik exist. In conversations over the phone, in person, and via email he constantly conveyed a genuine sense compassion, sympathy, and comfort. He was endlessly patient and flexible. Our beloved kitty, Mabel, passed on November 6, 2021, three weeks shy of her 14th birthday. When I made that dreaded call to inquire about Pawsitive Memories' services, Erik could not have been more sensitive and reassuring. He arrived at our home in Truro promptly as scheduled, and ever-so-gently and quietly cradled our little girl in her favorite blanket. He kept us well-informed through the process (very sadly, a process we've been through multiples times over the years) and offered to personally return her cremains. He was compassionate and kind and handled Mabel with the utmost care and dignity. He even washed and returned her blanket.Erik's gentle soul is a gift to all who have ever lost a beloved pet. We recommend Erik and Pawsitive Memories without reservation. When that terribly sad day comes again, we will call on him to ease our heartbreak.

The Owner is extremely kind and respectful to your needs and the loss of your Pet. After you arrive, inside it's quiet and clean. They have a sitting area with privacy available for you to go over how their service works and what it entails. Overall I was relieved and comforted by the compassion & empathy they show you at Pawsitive Memories. I highly recommend them. I felt like I was walking into an actual funeral home and wake for my furry loved one. It helped bring closure and I'm forever grateful for their services. Especially having something that is on Cape and the added benefit of being Eco Friendly.

It's taken me a little time to be able to write about the passing of our papillion termie. Sadly he left us while we were in the middle of our family trip to the cape and we were left with the difficult task of managing our grief while trying to locate a crematorium so far from home. Fortunately pawsitive memories by coincidence was 7 min away from where we were staying and chose to take our little friend to Erik where he greeted us with such great empathy and it made saying goodbye a much more peaceful process. Erik guided us through this time making sure to explain how much gentler and humane his liquid creamation would be for our beloved dog. His demeanor and entire presences brought us calm during this turbulent time and we felt better that our sweet dog would in the caring hands of a kind man. He was able to later mail our dog's ashes once we returned home. It was honestly the best way all of this could have happened. Thank you again erik ,

10/26 i lost my baby mittens. It by far was the worst day of my life! 19 year's we were together, no more than 2 weeks apart at a time. She was my best friend! I wasn't sure how I was going to be able to handle her passing as the days got closer and closer. Erik answered every question i had even if it was ridiculous (in my eye's). he was so comforting and reassuring about the whole process.This is the place to go if you know you are going to lose or lost a beloved pet. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else in the future if i ever go through this again down the road. Even when i emailed him the next day after dropping her off about a last minute request, he made it happen! And i will forever be grateful for everything he did.

Knowing that Erik was the person I was handing my ride or die over to made it so comforting. I don't know what the word is to explain how I felt after meeting Erik and knowing what the process for my Ziggy would be. There are some people who do what they do to earn a living. I had to put down my pet rat down about a week ago. It was the first pet that was actually mine that I had to make that difficult decision with.
