We have worked the Better Vet For the last 2 or 3 years with our two senior dogs. Our dog, Sam , was a nervous boy, who hated the vet. Seeing the vet in our living room made a world of difference for him. Our girl, Sierra, had multiple chronic medical issues that only a14 yr old can have. Dr Ann Sidley and her Tech were caring, compassionate and respectful of our wishes. Their service included vaccines, blood draws, and medications, as well as a wealth of knowledge. When the time came to euthanize our Sam, Dr Sidley and tech made a very sad occasion as smooth as it could go and our Sam showed no signs of distress. We highly recommend their service. Thank you, Better Vet for allowing us to care for Sam and Sierra at home.

This service is wonderful. My cat Ana is very sweet, but can be extremely nervous and fearful. I attribute this to her being a stray previously. I had been putting off bringing her to a vet because I knew it would be traumatizing for all parties involved. I finally decided to try a mobile vet, figuring being in a familiar setting might alleviate some of her anxiety.The BetterVet Boston website is very user-friendly. It allows you to book an appointment within a 4 hour window. The day before they narrowed it to a two hour window, and then the day of I got a text with an ETA. For me this was when they were 34 minutes out.Dr. Gollub and Karli arrived and they were outstanding. They went over Ana's history with me and my concerns about her anxiety and getting her microchipped. I confined my cat to the bathroom so she wouldn't have anywhere to hide. Even then, she managed to wedge herself behind the toilet and made the exam very difficult. She was completely petrified but Dr. Gollub and Karli were able to restrain her and were quick and efficient with what they needed to do, while still being kind and gentle with her. They did the physical exam, vaccinated her, microchipped her, and clipped her nails. He provided me with some advice on how to more effectively approach her when she's feeling anxious. He also provided a prescription I can use for her anxiety on an as-needed basis, i.e. when I need to trim her nails or transport her. This was such a weight lifted off my shoulders.I wish I hadn't put this off for so long. She wasn't the most willing patient (lol) but they were such professionals and made it seem incredibly easy. I also appreciated that he didn't try and up-sell me on services - he was very honest when I asked about things he didn't think were necessary given her lack of symptoms. Came across as very trustworthy. I highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about this service. I was able to schedule a same day home visit for my 17 year old cat who had a bad ear infection. Dr. Tucker and Sam were kind, professional, caring, and wonderful with my cat, who doesn't like many people, especially strangers who want to handle her. They used various techniques to keep her still and safe in order to perform a full examination and provide appropriate assent and treatment. Their instructions to me were clear and concise. During the course of their examination they found another problem that I was not aware of and addressed it immediately. The day after the visit Sam sent me a an email with a comprehensive summary of all care provided during their visit as well as results of the cytology studies and detailed instructions for home care. I have already referred this team to two other cat owners I know who are in need of a mobile Vet service. So pleasantly surprised, and glad I found this service. Will definitely be using them in the future.

We used BetterVet for my son, Rory James, who was unfortunately diagnosed with a rare form of feline cancer, nasal adenocarcinoma. BetterVet was able to come into our home so we didn’t have to bring Rory out and keep him comfortable in the home for steroid injections to help reduce swelling, and provide pain relief. Dr Cimino came out initially with Danielle. They both were great and saw Rory twice. They were helpful and informative and kind. Dr Gollub and Carly had probably 5 visits with Rory. They were absolutely great with Rory James. We never felt rushed. Dr Gollub is an extremely caring, kind person and he loved Rory. Carly was so sweet and comforting as well to Rory. We are using them now for our other son , Mario Joseph. I couldn’t think of better doctors and nurses for our sweet pets. BetterVet treated our kids like family and will always remember how amazing they were during Rory’s last few months alive. We are so grateful for them.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Cimino last week for a quality of life visit for our sweet golden.Coming into this appointment I was extremely concerned and convinced I was going to have to start the discussion of putting my dog down based on her marked deterioration and lethargy over the last few months.Dr. Cimino was so kind and reassuring and patient with me while I discussed my concerns.Well, long story short the dog is absolutely fine and has Lyme disease (lol, phew)The tech was also amazing and drew blood for Sue effortlessly. She grabbed her some doggy Advil from the van and answered all my questions and made sure I was on board and okay with the plan and work up.Less then 24 hours later Dr. Ciminoreached out to let me know my dog has Lyme and sent in a script that was delivered to my door the next day.It’s been one week of medication and my dog happily climbs up the stairs for the first time in 6 months, is back to taking walking without stopping after 20 yards and is pretty much back to her “normal” 9 year old self.I am so grateful for the ease, kindness and efficiency of Dr. Cimino and her team and all they have done for my Susie girl.

All the vets and techs we have seen over the years have been phenomenal, but Dr. Tyler Murphy Tucker and Sam Pappas truly went above and beyond for us when we needed it most. I can’t possibly describe how amazing Dr. Tucker and nurse Samantha Pappas are. Truly the dream team. I have an 11 year old nasty calico (who is the love of my life). She is a rescue with a history of aggression and a sad past. She tolerates no poking prodding or even picking up (except in small amounts by her trusted people). Sam the cat whisperer was rocking her in a towel like a newborn baby while Dr. Tucker managed blood work, a urine draw, vaccinations, nail clipping and a full exam. I honestly still can’t believe what I witnessed today. My cat barely complained. Mya was rubbing up against Sam like they were old friends. For a kitty like mine a trip to the vet is awful. The ride makes her very ill and the smell of the office is way too much like the shelter she spent too long in. Having these experts come in Mya’s home environment where she feels safe and their skill and expertise allowed for testing and care that has simply not been possible before. Thank you so much to both of these incredible professionals. You were so kind and patient with the cranky calico and the indecisive client (me). I’m so grateful.

I won’t be able to put into words how much Dr Nicholas Kiefer and nurse Erin Horgan mean to my little family. Ellie was a mean kitty to basically everyone she ever met, besides me and my husband. I adopted her from a humane society in Springfield, Ma and I’m unsure of what her life looked like before that. But she was scrappy! Getting her to go to the vet was an absolute nightmare so for years and years I did not take her. I found Bettervet when I realized she was getting sick. Dr Kiefer and nurse Erin got bloodwork/ urinalysis/ etc with kindness and compassion… all while Ellie yelled at them. They always showed her love and tried to be be her friend (churus helped). Ellie was diagnosed with kidney disease. She fought for a long time. Dr Kiefer and nurse Erin were so helpful to me through the highs and lows. They were there to help us say goodbye to our baby, and I am so thankful for that. My special girl got to go to sleep on our terms, in my lap, surrounded by people who cared for her. We are eternally grateful

So glad I found Better Vet! I was so stressed about bringing my cat to the vet as he hisses and tries to scratch due to being scared due to out of his element. Having a vet that comes to the home was wonderful, no stress and my cat got his check up and vaccines needed woth no hissing at all, he was very comfortable.

I will forever use BetterVet services!! The staff is amazing. This is our second year using them and I will tell you I will NOT go to a vet office again. They are so helpful and accommodating. They are kind and compassionate and my dog’s (both large breed and would be find in an office) absolutely were more comfortable in their own home. I cannot say enough about them!! Pricing is great too!! I highly recommend BetterVet! You will not regret it!!!! Think of how amazing it would be if your doctor could come to your home for a visit, consultation or any other medical treatment you may need. It’s about comfort, so why not take advantage of it!!

Was great! Taking care of a feral animal isn't easy to capture and take to the vet. The Doctor was easy to work with and could carry my tablet to my cat to view his infected wound. I was prescribed the meds needed to treat the infection.

Highly recommended! I was so nervous to use a different vet, but the experience overceeded my expectations. My senior cat doesn't like going to the vet and being home made the experience so much more tolerable, even enjoyable. She sat in Dr. Kiefer's lap and even let him pat her (so unusual for her with strangers, especially vets.) He was able to cut her claws, a service no groomer or vet was able to complete due to her anxiety. She sat calmly for this.Thank you so much for taking care of Honey!

Dani has been our vet for over 12 years, which is also the time our wonderful friendship began. She was a tremendous help with my first dog, Marley and the subsequent arrival over the years of puppies Scout and Teddy. I had never had my own dog as an adult, so she guided me in all aspects of being a dog owner, which sadly included supporting me 11 years later through Marley's cancer diagnosis and treatment and ultimately helping me know when and how to say good bye. All of my dogs love Dani and are SO excited when she visits. I respect her advice and appreciate her practical approach and invaluable guidance. She always welcomes questions and concerns, and I've learned so much from her over the years. She is a very knowledgable and reliable vet and a truly kind hearted person, and I recommend her whole heartedly!

100,000% recommend! We have a rescue who hasn't quite gotten over his past trauma of humans. We were worried getting him to the vet would be worse. I am so happy for this service. In the interim, our dog needed updated vaccines. She came to our home with another vet and successfully administered the shots. The level of professionalism and expertise were impressive. The service was excellent. Arrived on time for the first visit with my two cats. Dr. Kiefer and the vet tech were professional, friendly, extremely knowledgeable. They answered my questions and gave me tips regarding issues with each cat. They handled the cats appropriately according to their behavior. I can't rave enough about your services and can't imagine chasing the cats into a carrier and hauling them to car for a drive to a veterinary hospital ever again. Annie was feral before she came to live with me so she has a lot of anxiety during dr visits. The doc and asst were lovely with her and she repaired quite quickly ( upon their departure ). Added treat, they left behind a squeeze pak of Churu, tuna flavored! Annie could not get enough so we ordered a pack from Amazon. That made everything much better…

Before we even got our dog Nayla, 12 years ago, all our close friends in town with pets had told us we HAD to use Dr. Cimino bc she is so amazing. She has been a great vet for our family over the years, extremely informative, and a pleasure to have over for our checkups and visits. The best part is that Nayla is over the moon to see her when she walks in and that makes our life so easy. She is also so easy to speak with, and contact via email or phone. It doesn't get more convenient or better that this!

A great experience for our anxious cat. I loved not having to use a carrier or a car ride. BetterVet showed up during the scheduled window, allowed time for everyone to feel comfortable and then started the visit. They did not push too much once our cat showed signs of being done . I will be using BetterVet in the further and recommend them.

This was the best experience and the best money I’ve ever spent! Dr. Sidley and her nurse were so awesome. My cat, Zuki, is pushing 20 years old and can be skittish/anxious; they were so great with him! I could tell they really love animals and providing great care for them. Having a medical appointment like this done in the comfort of his own home took the anxiety of a vet visit down to a zero (for me, haha) and was definitely the smoothest it has ever been for my little shmoop! I have been raving about them all day and have told all of my animal people about this fantastic group — many thanks!

We tried better vet because our beagle has difficulty traveling and would have to take meds to get to his apointments. I found them to be friendly, smart very focused on the pet. Explained everything and could answer any questions and concerns. He loved them too.This was really convenient to have them come to house so he wasn't drowsy the rest of the day. A friend recommended BetterVet for a wellness check when my cat Nikko stopped eating. He had become quite weak and I did not wish to drag him out on difficult trip to the emergency room. Dr. Tyler-Murphy and her assistant Sam showed up to my apartment the following day; on time and well equipped. They also proved to be miracle workers. Nikko is a very difficult patient and extremely prone to biting and scratching if held against his will. No other veterinarian has ever successfully drawn blood from him. That said, Sam was amazing - calm and methodical in holding Nikko for the blood draw - while Dr. Tyler-Murphy got the job done. With some additional fluids, a shot of Cerenia, and an appetite stimulant Nikko was back on his feet and eating later that night. I can't thank both of these wonderful women enough - they were professional, compassionate and without a doubt, the best care givers Nikko and I have ever encountered.

Had great experience from the 3 vets we've gotten from BetterVet over the last 3 years. Very thorough in looking at all possible causes for our cat's rash, including food allergies, environmental allergies, infections.Wish there was a better way to schedule with BetterVet so one could first pick which vet and then see the dates they would be available, just to get some consistency and to have a single vet get more familiar with our cat.Definitely BetterVet has been a great find and a real help for our cat who is terrified of cat carriers, unknown people and new locations.

My 17 year old cat is a nightmare at the vet and in the car, it was much less dramatic to exam her at home ❤️ I will definitely continue using BetterVet as my primary vet provider for Mouse and highly recommend it.

I can’t possibly describe how amazing Dr. Tucker and nurse Samantha Pappas are. Truly the dream team. I have an 11 year old nasty calico (who is the love of my life). She is a rescue with a history of aggression and a sad past. She tolerates no poking prodding or even picking up (except in small amounts by her trusted people). Sam the cat whisperer was rocking her in a towel like a newborn baby while Dr. Tucker managed blood work, a urine draw, vaccinations, nail clipping and a full exam. I honestly still can’t believe what I witnessed today. My cat barely complained. Mya was rubbing up against Sam like they were old friends. For a kitty like mine a trip to the vet is awful. The ride makes her very ill and the smell of the office is way too much like the shelter she spent too long in. Having these experts come in Mya’s home environment where she feels safe and their skill and expertise allowed for testing and care that has simply not been possible before. Thank you so much to both of these incredible professionals. You were so kind and patient with the cranky calico and the indecisive client (me). I’m so grateful.

I won’t be able to put into words how much Dr Nicholas Kiefer and nurse Erin Horgan mean to my little family. Ellie was a mean kitty to basically everyone she ever met, besides me and my husband. I adopted her from a humane society in Springfield, Ma and I’m unsure of what her life looked like before that. But she was scrappy! Getting her to go to the vet was an absolute nightmare so for years and years I did not take her. I found Bettervet when I realized she was getting sick. Dr Kiefer and nurse Erin got bloodwork/ urinalysis/ etc with kindness and compassion… all while Ellie yelled at them. They always showed her love and tried to be be her friend (churus helped). Ellie was diagnosed with kidney disease. She fought for a long time. Dr Kiefer and nurse Erin were so helpful to me through the highs and lows. They were there to help us say goodbye to our baby, and I am so thankful for that. My special girl got to go to sleep on our terms, in my lap, surrounded by people who cared for her. We are eternally grateful

So glad I found Better Vet! I was so stressed about bringing my cat to the vet as he hisses and tries to scratch due to being scared due to out of his element. I will forever use BetterVet services!! The staff is amazing. This is our second year using them and I will tell you I will NOT go to a vet office again. They are so helpful and accommodating. They are kind and compassionate and my dog’s (both large breed and would be find in an office) absolutely were more comfortable in their own home. I cannot say enough about them!! Was great! Taking care of a feral animal isn't easy to capture and take to the vet. The Doctor was easy to work with and could carry my tablet to my cat to view his infected wound. I was prescribed the meds needed to treat the infection.

After reading all the reviews, I am greatly disappointed with BetterVets and I seriously doubt Dr. Sarah Keyes’ qualifications. I feel like my four-year-old niece with her toy doctor kit could have given a better diagnosis.I scheduled a sick appointment for my cat, who has anxiety and dislikes car rides, thinking a home visit would be easier for both of us. I informed BetterVets that I suspected my cat had mastitis due to her swollen nipples. Unfortunately, these swollen nipples had developed into an abscess that was severely swollen and draining a bloody pus. I asked if the doctor could provide antibiotics or painkillers since my cat was in pain and uncomfortable.When Dr. Sarah Keyes arrived, she didn’t even look at the nipples or the abscess because it was wrapped to prevent further injury. Despite this being a sick visit, there was no bloodwork done, my cat wasn’t weighed, and her temperature wasn’t checked. I told her the area felt warm, which she completely disregarded. Ignoring my observations about mastitis, she suggested it might be cancer and recommended visiting a hospital in Worcester.I explained that I couldn’t afford the $3,000-$4,000 for testing immediately and asked if we could get some antibiotics or painkillers in the meantime, as the abscess was draining and causing my cat to be lethargic. I specifically asked about painkillers to ensure that they could prescribe them, as my cat was clearly in pain and I wanted to address the abscess. Dr. Keyes refused, which is strange because everything I read online indicates that a draining abscess requires antibiotics.I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the care and services provided. Especially after reading other reviews where pets received bloodwork and various medications, I expected better treatment for my cat.

Don't let them con you into their Wellness Program like they did me. It's a membership scam and they will continue to charge a monthly fee even after you've cancelled. I signed NO contract, wasn't given ANY written information about the details about the fees, just told by a friendly woman over the phone how much money I would be saving to get the membership for my four cats. She inferred that it would be saving me hundreds on my vet bills (I only get annual ck ups, the basics) because I had multiple cats. I thought it was too good to be true, and of course it was. Once I realized the 356 dollars a month that they were charging me, I reached out and tried to cancel. They agreed to cancel my membership immediately, but the next month I got charged another 356 dollars (weeks after I had cancelled). Then, when you try and get someone to respond to your questions about getting reimbursed for additional fees after you've cancelled no one will respond. I have made several attempts to get answers and a refund for the charges after my cancellation and NO ONE will answer or respond to me. Such a disppointment because I never had any complaints about the vet services I received. The Vets treating my cats were terrific, but, unfortunately the company is running membership scams. Poor customer services to say the least. Too bad companys have zero ethics when it comes to con-memberships and gouging the customer these days. Sad.

Better Vet was extremely responsive and easy to reach and to deal with.Dr. Gollub and his assistant Karli (although sometimes it seemed he might have been her assistant) were professional, warm and kind in every way. We have two cats. One is normal — they took wonderful care of her, which she clearly did not resent — but the second cat does not tolerate strangers. Ever. They did everything in their power to get her to stop hiding in an impossible place, and then when they couldn’t, had suggestions for a return visit that might make it possible for her to be treated. They also made an appointment, at our convenience.

Highly recommended! I was so nervous to use a different vet, but the experience overceeded my expectations. My senior cat doesn't like going to the vet and being home made the experience so much more tolerable, even enjoyable. She sat in Dr. Kiefer's lap and even let him pat her (so unusual for her with strangers, especially vets.) He was able to cut her claws, a service no groomer or vet was able to complete due to her anxiety. She sat calmly for this.Thank you so much for taking care of Honey!

Dani has been our vet for over 12 years, which is also the time our wonderful friendship began. She was a tremendous help with my first dog, Marley and the subsequent arrival over the years of puppies Scout and Teddy. I had never had my own dog as an adult, so she guided me in all aspects of being a dog owner, which sadly included supporting me 11 years later through Marley's cancer diagnosis and treatment and ultimately helping me know when and how to say good bye. All of my dogs love Dani and are SO excited when she visits. I respect her advice and appreciate her practical approach and invaluable guidance. Before we even got our dog Nayla, 12 years ago, all our close friends in town with pets had told us we HAD to use Dr. Cimino bc she is so amazing. She has been a great vet for our family over the years, extremely informative, and a pleasure to have over for our checkups and visits. This was the best experience and the best money I’ve ever spent! Dr. Sidley and her nurse were so awesome. My cat, Zuki, is pushing 20 years old and can be skittish/anxious; they were so great with him! I could tell they really love animals and providing great care for them. We tried better vet because our beagle has difficulty traveling and would have to take meds to get to his apointments. I found them to be friendly, smart very focused on the pet. Explained everything and could answer any questions and concerns. He loved them too.This was really convenient to have them come to house so he wasn't drowsy the rest of the day. A friend recommended BetterVet for a wellness check when my cat Nikko stopped eating. He had become quite weak and I did not wish to drag him out on difficult trip to the emergency room. Dr. Tyler-Murphy and her assistant Sam showed up to my apartment the following day; on time and well equipped. They also proved to be miracle workers. Nikko is a very difficult patient and extremely prone to biting and scratching if held against his will. No other veterinarian has ever successfully drawn blood from him. That said, Sam was amazing - calm and methodical in holding Nikko for the blood draw - while Dr. Tyler-Murphy got the job done. With some additional fluids, a shot of Cerenia, and an appetite stimulant Nikko was back on his feet and eating later that night. I can't thank both of these wonderful women enough - they were professional, compassionate and without a doubt, the best care givers Nikko and I have ever encountered.

Had great experience from the 3 vets we've gotten from BetterVet over the last 3 years. Very thorough in looking at all possible causes for our cat's rash, including food allergies, environmental allergies, infections.Wish there was a better way to schedule with BetterVet so one could first pick which vet and then see the dates they would be available, just to get some consistency and to have a single vet get more familiar with our cat.Definitely BetterVet has been a great find and a real help for our cat who is terrified of cat carriers, unknown people and new locations.

Dr Gollub and his assistant were amazing with my elderly mother’s dog in her home.In the past At our local vet, blood test and nail cut led to fear aggression. Peter Golkub and another vet came out and first sat down with me to explain and to go over Daisy's issues. They both are what I call "The dog whisperers" Daisy is in extreme pain and they talked to her first and did a thorough exam without hurting her at all I highly reommend them!!😊 They were both compassionate and loving with Daisy. Daisy was cooperative, which is unusual because she is usually afraid. I apologize for not knowing the young lady's name. I am hard of hearing and couldn't catch her name. Our kitty was not eating or drinking and we spent hours trying to get her into her crate to bring her to the local animal emergency room. This stressed our kitty out along with the rest of the family. Finally, we reached out to BetterVet to see if we could get an emergency visit and they had a cancelation that afternoon. The vet was incredibly patient with our terrified cat. He gave her fluids and an antibiotic along with some instructions for the next couple of days. That intervention did the trick. I wish I had discovered Better Vet sooner! The staff was amiable, knowledgeable, and fantastic with my pet, so there was no stress on your pet. They showed my pet a lot of kindness. Everything was told to me by the vet. The following day, I received the findings through text message AND phone message. That they offer you a link with the required medications is awesome. So easy and basic. Better Vet is something I have enthusiastically suggested to everyone and to my friends! I also want to mention that when I called my usual veterinarian to let them know my pet was sick, they told me to take him to an emergency facility because they wouldn't be able to give me an apartment for three days. Dr. Linda Dugger and her assistant, Katherine Lynn are just wonderful. Buddy and Paddington are always excited to see them at the front door. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a home visit from a veterinarian.

Better Vet was extremely responsive and easy to reach and to deal with.Dr. Gollub and his assistant Karli (although sometimes it seemed he might have been her assistant) were professional, warm and kind in every way. We have two cats. One is normal — they took wonderful care of her, which she clearly did not resent — but the second cat does not tolerate strangers. Ever. They did everything in their power to get her to stop hiding in an impossible place, and then when they couldn’t, had suggestions for a return visit that might make it possible for her to be treated. They also made an appointment, at our convenience.

Our dog’s surgical follow up left something to be desired. We expected to see the surgeon who extracted her 13 teeth and were even willing to drive back to where the procedure was done since she doesn’t travel to our location. That wasn’t an option, which we discovered hours before we were scheduled to go. And while we like most of the vets we’ve seen, there seems to be a revolving door. I’d also appreciate quicker answers to questions.

First visit went well. I connected with BetterVet since my pets old vet shut down suddenly. Both vet and technician were professional and able to manage my surly cat and her super friendly dog roommate. I didn't have a lot of questions since this isn't my first pet but I found the clinicians to be helpful with suggestions on food, vaccines and follow up. I say be prepared with a pen and paper to take your own notes on next steps, follow the recommended to put your pet that doesn't like stranger in a contained space. Also clear your floor and/or a space so they can do an exam comfortably. Since my cat had to be in the bathroom they had to used a closed toilet seat as the exam table. Also my small dog was put on the couch. The clinicians were able to to work with what I had and gracious about it. All in all, both pets were good afterwards.

Not much done for $1300. Blood drawn on cat and dog, ear swab culture to give me an obvious answer of them both having yeast overgrowth. Bladder ultrasound for cat and fecal sample which I never received the results for..was convenient that they can come to your home but over priced for what it is. The vet and tech were nice and didn’t man handle the animals which I appreciate because in the past I’ve had bad experiences with vets and wrapping the animals too tight in a blanket and cutting off air supply.Recommend but only if you want a basic check up and don’t want to take your animal to the vet if they get super anxious.

Dr. Ann Sidley and Tayla arrived on time and were very nice and professional. This was the first time I had BetterVet for my 2 cats. I am very happy with the way they treated my cats. I cannot say enough about my experience with BetterVet. I originally reached out to them because my senior dog is struggling being in the car, so wanted to consider a mobile vet service. I could not have imagined what an incredible experience I would have. I made an appointment for a virtual consultation, and not only was that consultation free of charge, but the physician was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and collaborative. Booked appt for sick cat. Got confirmation morning of appt that vet was arriving that afternoon. Then, when no vet showed, I reached out and only then did they let me know the vet had to cancel! They didn’t even offer to reschedule. They’ve lost a customer, and I advise against using them for anything other than routine care where it doesn’t matter if they cancel last minute.

Amazing! They were so patient and accommodating! I was so worried because my cat is a bit of a wild man and they were so helpful finding the best situation to keep him calm and relaxed. I wish all vets were like this. They gave me recommendations and spent time making sure both the dog and especially the cat were comfortable with each check. I couldn’t be happier, at ease, and of course grateful to the super-team of two professional, animal loving and caring individuals. The Doctor was amazing and the nurse was nothing short of the same!!!! Both made Bo (pit terrier) feel at ease and comfortable. Our home visit with BetterVet went wonderfully. Our cat Dorian Fée becomes terribly anxious when going to the vet. Being able to avoid this trauma was incredibly helpful, and Dr. Kiefer and his colleague were superlative in their work with Dorian. They performed his blood test, his checkup, and trimmed his nails- that last, something we have never been able to do. They were fantastic at calming our anxious boy throughout these procedures, and also evinced compassion at a fraught time, given that Dorian is a senior cat and, per Goethe, "everything [which of course includes 'everyone'] transitory is but an illusion." Dr. Kiefer then followed up with a comprehensive, detailed report on Dorian's health, including links to scientific reading that greatly helped us understand his condition, and treatment options. He is a superb veterinarian who also understands the emotional worlds of his feline patients and their humans. In this difficult time, it's a comfort to know that our precious boy is getting the best care. This was the only time that Dorian left a medical encounter happy to continue his day, rather than trsumatized. We are grateful and relieved that many of his subsequent procedures can be performed at home.

My first at-home vet visit blew my mind. It was first class care. The vets spent an hour and 15 minutes in my home, truly providing holistic care for my cat. Normally, in a vet visit, you have 30 minutes to explain the situation you’re in, get treatment, pay, and get out. In this visit, the vets not only addressed my cat’s allergies that wasn’t resolved for YEARS, but they also prescribed much more affective and manageable medicine than I have ever received before, they cut my cat’s nails, and even applied nail caps I had bought so he doesn’t keep opening wounds on his head because of allergies. For the first time in years, my cat was actually able to take his cone off and not scratch himself. His wound not only healed, but he has no urge to scratch himself again i. The same spot. And believe me, he was on steroids before, but the additional meds these vets prescribed that are topical and not harmful to him, really changed the game. I immediately got their yearly package because this was truly the best vet experience I have ever had!!

Dr Gollub and his assistant were amazing with my elderly mother’s dog in her home.In the past At our local vet, blood test and nail cut led to fear aggression. Dr Gollub and his assistant were compassionate and highly skilled at performing the exam and carrying out the blood draw and nail cutting.The only reason for rating 4 rather then 5 was that there glitches in communication. Peter Golkub and another vet came out and first sat down with me to explain and to go over Daisy's issues. They both are what I call "The dog whisperers" Daisy is in extreme pain and they talked to her first and did a thorough exam without hurting her at all I highly reommend them!!😊 They were both compassionate and loving with Daisy. Daisy was cooperative, which is unusual because she is usually afraid. I apologize for not knowing the young lady's name. I am hard of hearing and couldn't catch her name. Both wonderful, knowledgeable and caring. So much easier than going to the vet. Having then here was a blessing.

Our kitty was not eating or drinking and we spent hours trying to get her into her crate to bring her to the local animal emergency room. This stressed our kitty out along with the rest of the family. Finally, we reached out to BetterVet to see if we could get an emergency visit and they had a cancelation that afternoon. The vet was incredibly patient with our terrified cat. He gave her fluids and an antibiotic along with some instructions for the next couple of days. That intervention did the trick. Within a day, she was eating, drinking, and causing mischief around the house. BetterVet will be our vet from now on. Thank you!

I wish I had discovered Better Vet sooner! The staff was amiable, knowledgeable, and fantastic with my pet, so there was no stress on your pet. They showed my pet a lot of kindness. Everything was told to me by the vet. The following day, I received the findings through text message AND phone message. That they offer you a link with the required medications is awesome. So easy and basic. Better Vet is something I have enthusiastically suggested to everyone and to my friends! I also want to mention that when I called my usual veterinarian to let them know my pet was sick, they told me to take him to an emergency facility because they wouldn't be able to give me an apartment for three days. We had an at home visit for our orange tabby cat yesterday. While he is a sweet boy with us, as a former feral kitty he is extremely shy with new people and can't tolerate being held by anyone--including us (which makes transporting him anywhere nearly impossible). Drs. Sidley & Grace were such angels. My fiance and I were so grateful at how gentle and caring they were with our boy. They were on time, thorough and most importantly so kind. They calmed him down immediately for his exam and we didn't hear a peep from him while he got his shots. We cannot thank them enough for coming to our home and giving him the best care possible. We are so grateful your service exists and I recommend BetterVet to anyone that has difficultly transporting your pet to a vet's office. Dr. Gastrock was amazing. She went out of her way to assist with our very complicated need for health certificates to travel through several countries with our cat. She spent many hours meeting with us, making sure we understood what we needed to do on our end, and ensuring all the requirements were met. When we ran into road bumps that made our timing very short at the end, she was extremely attentive and worked late at night to make sure our deadlines were met. She showed a genuine interest in our circumstances and really cared about our situation. This was an A++++ experience. Dr. Sidley and Tayla are amazingly kind and wonderful with animals. They came within the two hour window and got so much done (well visit, vaccines, bloodwork). My cat is NOT an easy going cat when it comes to the vet and having them come to my apartment made the entire process so much easier. Booking online is super easy and user friendly. Usually after a vet visit my cat takes hours to return to normal self, today, within ten minutes of being done he’s back to his usual shenanigans. A must for anxious or senior cats!

Dr. Beberman and her team are wonderful. My cat gets very stressed on trips to the vet to the point where she rips her claws out and pants. Makes you feel terrible as a fur parent. Having the vet come to the house has been a godsend. They are punctual, warm, friendly and thorough. They explained everything they did and what to expect next. While all Boston vet hospitals are booking 6 months out, I was able to get a healthy pet exam scheduled within 2 weeks. I didn't have to stress my cat out by forcing her into a carrier and traveling with her to a strange place. The stress free convenience is worth it. Dr. Mandeville and her vet techs are great too!!

I LOVE my vet. She recently joined better vet. My complaint is the service window, not the treatment of my dog. I scheduled my appointment 3 weeks out, but they book appointments up to the day before. I certainly wasn't prioritized and ended up waiting for a 1/2 hour after my scheduled window. To their credit, they were extremely responsive to my complaint. Called me back and listened to my suggestions for smaller windows and better logistics.

Very negative experience with this service. The vet and vet assistant were argumentative, didn’t take input from me about the temperament of my cat, stressed the animal worse than if I had taken it in a car to the vet, and the worse part was the cost was easily 3x a typical service. Such a good concept . . . Such poor execution.

I was able to get an appointment in the same week! Dr. Gastrock was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! She was kind, compassionate and reassuring when examining our 14 year old dog. He is a reactive dog but the vet and vet tech did not seem to be phased and gave him the care he needed regardless.I would definitely reccomend BetterVet to anyone who feels that a regular vets visit would be too much on their pet. They can prescribe and give you the medications your pet needs on the spot. Can't say enough good things!

I am super grateful to the BetterVet team for offering quality mobile vet care! My cat is extremely skittish around strangers and vet visits in general stress him out a lot. Having the visit at home reduces his anxiety significantly and helps him establish a better relationship with his vet in the comfort of his own safe space. Booked appt for sick cat. Got confirmation morning of appt that vet was arriving that afternoon. Then, when no vet showed, I reached out and only then did they let me know the vet had to cancel! They didn’t even offer to reschedule. They’ve lost a customer, and I advise against using them for anything other than routine care where it doesn’t matter if they cancel last minute.

Amazing! They were so patient and accommodating! I was so worried because my cat is a bit of a wild man and they were so helpful finding the best situation to keep him calm and relaxed. I wish all vets were like this. They gave me recommendations and spent time making sure both the dog and especially the cat were comfortable with each check. Highly recommend, this was a much better experience for my animals and less stressful for me!

I couldn’t be happier, at ease, and of course grateful to the super-team of two professional, animal loving and caring individuals. The Doctor was amazing and the nurse was nothing short of the same!!!! Both made Bo (pit terrier) feel at ease and comfortable. He is very mellow and loving and received that very same love right back from both the Doctor and the Nurse. I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and for two professional individuals that were so careful and loving to/with him!! I was stressed the entire morning and after meeting them both it instantly went away!!! Thank you for all your help!!! Bo and I are forever grateful!!

Our home visit with BetterVet went wonderfully. Our cat Dorian Fée becomes terribly anxious when going to the vet. Being able to avoid this trauma was incredibly helpful, and Dr. Kiefer and his colleague were superlative in their work with Dorian. They performed his blood test, his checkup, and trimmed his nails- that last, something we have never been able to do. They were fantastic at calming our anxious boy throughout these procedures, and also evinced compassion at a fraught time, given that Dorian is a senior cat and, per Goethe, "everything [which of course includes 'everyone'] transitory is but an illusion." Dr. Kiefer then followed up with a comprehensive, detailed report on Dorian's health, including links to scientific reading that greatly helped us understand his condition, and treatment options. He is a superb veterinarian who also understands the emotional worlds of his feline patients and their humans. In this difficult time, it's a comfort to know that our precious boy is getting the best care. This was the only time that Dorian left a medical encounter happy to continue his day, rather than trsumatized. We are grateful and relieved that many of his subsequent procedures can be performed at home.

This was my cat's second home visit with BetterVet and it went really well (again)! Dr. Sidley and Tayla were great with my skittish kitty, Violet, managing to have a thorough exam & trim her nails while also spotting a couple of appropriate issues for follow-up. My first at-home vet visit blew my mind. It was first class care. The vets spent an hour and 15 minutes in my home, truly providing holistic care for my cat. Normally, in a vet visit, you have 30 minutes to explain the situation you’re in, get treatment, pay, and get out. In this visit, the vets not only addressed my cat’s allergies that wasn’t resolved for YEARS, but they also prescribed much more affective and manageable medicine than I have ever received before, they cut my cat’s nails, and even applied nail caps I had bought so he doesn’t keep opening wounds on his head because of allergies. For the first time in years, my cat was actually able to take his cone off and not scratch himself. His wound not only healed, but he has no urge to scratch himself again i. The same spot. And believe me, he was on steroids before, but the additional meds these vets prescribed that are topical and not harmful to him, really changed the game. I immediately got their yearly package because this was truly the best vet experience I have ever had!!

Last time I spoke directly to Dr Fontane, she's really knowledgeable, professional and we all feel better, our senior dog trying newedicune, gabapentin. Lovely experience with the vet and the vet tech who came to see my cat! He’s usually very unfriendly at the vet’s office and has not allowed an examination by a vet for 3 years. Highly would recommend!!! Have been struggling to find a vet in my area since our old vet closed. To awesome vets came to the house, examined my dog, did his blood work and his vaccines!! We had an at home visit for our orange tabby cat yesterday. While he is a sweet boy with us, as a former feral kitty he is extremely shy with new people and can't tolerate being held by anyone--including us (which makes transporting him anywhere nearly impossible). Drs. Sidley & Grace were such angels. My fiance and I were so grateful at how gentle and caring they were with our boy. They were on time, thorough and most importantly so kind. They calmed him down immediately for his exam and we didn't hear a peep from him while he got his shots. We cannot thank them enough for coming to our home and giving him the best care possible. We are so grateful your service exists and I recommend BetterVet to anyone that has difficultly transporting your pet to a vet's office. Dr. Gastrock was amazing. She went out of her way to assist with our very complicated need for health certificates to travel through several countries with our cat. She spent many hours meeting with us, making sure we understood what we needed to do on our end, and ensuring all the requirements were met. When we ran into road bumps that made our timing very short at the end, she was extremely attentive and worked late at night to make sure our deadlines were met. She showed a genuine interest in our circumstances and really cared about our situation. This was an A++++ experience. We could not have accomplished a successful move to the other side of the world without the huge amount of help and attention she provided.

Dr. Sidley and Tayla are amazingly kind and wonderful with animals. They came within the two hour window and got so much done (well visit, vaccines, bloodwork). My cat is NOT an easy going cat when it comes to the vet and having them come to my apartment made the entire process so much easier. Booking online is super easy and user friendly. Usually after a vet visit my cat takes hours to return to normal self, today, within ten minutes of being done he’s back to his usual shenanigans. A must for anxious or senior cats!

Dr. Beberman and her team are wonderful. My cat gets very stressed on trips to the vet to the point where she rips her claws out and pants. Makes you feel terrible as a fur parent. Having the vet come to the house has been a godsend. They are punctual, warm, friendly and thorough. They explained everything they did and what to expect next. While all Boston vet hospitals are booking 6 months out, I was able to get a healthy pet exam scheduled within 2 weeks. I didn't have to stress my cat out by forcing her into a carrier and traveling with her to a strange place. The stress free convenience is worth it. Dr. Mandeville and her vet techs are great too!!

I LOVE my vet. She recently joined better vet. My complaint is the service window, not the treatment of my dog. I scheduled my appointment 3 weeks out, but they book appointments up to the day before. I certainly wasn't prioritized and ended up waiting for a 1/2 hour after my scheduled window. To their credit, they were extremely responsive to my complaint. Called me back and listened to my suggestions for smaller windows and better logistics.

Update: Dr. Mandeville and her assistant were wonderful! Our Samwise was quite anxious, as expected, but they were very patient. They were also very encouraging regarding what we've accomplished, and to keep up our efforts. What a great service!!We had a video consult for our new family member with human socialization issues and still leash training. We've never considered a house call before and wanted to get a feel for the process, and gauge the type of care to expect. We have booked our well visit, and look forward to getting our fella on a healthy path!

This was a last-ditch effort to get my dog Sundae seen for some scooting/discomfort. We've had visits where between the car ride and the waiting room, she's too keyed up to let anyone near her with a stethoscope, and no amount of medication seemed to help.Dr. Sidley and Tayla were incredibly professional and friendly with Sundae. She was able to establish trust with them pretty quickly, and when she got aggressive/stressed they adjusted the plan of care accordingly. I really appreciated having a team of people dedicated to keeping Sundae comfortable and meeting her where she is without batting an eye.If anyone is in the same boat, I recommend this as a way to take away some layers of the unknown for a vet appointment. Immediately after her procedure when I released holding her, she went right to her treats with her tail wagging, and accepted treats and pets from the both of them. She seemed sad to see them go! I'm definitely going to be using this for future vet appointments.

I wrote in my notes "*THIS GUY WAS FABULOUS!" We had a free tele-health consultation w/ Dr. Scott Perry tonight, and he was fantastic! He pretty much said and recommended exactly what I expected (and feared) he would say and recommend. I just wasn't sure what to expect in terms of how long we had or how quick of a consultation this would be. Dr. Perry explained everything, clearly has ample experience and knows his stuff, answered all my questions, gave me cost estimates, was honest about the possibilities of my cat's condition, the need for labs to make an accurate diagnosis, the urgency for the exam and lab work, etc. I did not feel that he rushed the appointment AT ALL nor did we wait more than a few minutes in the virtual "waiting room" for him to start our appointment. Thank you SO MUCH, Dr. Perry! I will definitely be contacting and using BetterVet again!

Fantastic experience! First of all, it’s so much more convenient to set up a home visit for both of my dogs. It just makes it easier for me and minimizes the anxieties around the visit. Very negative experience with this service. The vet and vet assistant were argumentative, didn’t take input from me about the temperament of my cat, stressed the animal worse than if I had taken it in a car to the vet, and the worse part was the cost was easily 3x a typical service. Such a good concept . . . Such poor execution.

Dr. Kiefer and Erin were a great team. Arrived exactly on time per notification - no time wasted in a waiting room. Rolo the dog had his vaccines and a thorough exam of his limp and other hip arthritis, leading to an x-ray and some great recommendations of medications and other therapies. Minot the cat had a biopsy on a lump - he’s a fighter and it wouldn’t have gone well at an animal hospital, but at home he was matter-of-fact about it. Great experience!

Oliver is a sweet and wonderful cat but does not like to behave on his own terms. I was unable to get him into a carrier to get to a vet. Dr. Beberman and her assistant arrived as scheduled and were able to take charge and fix the problem. They were wonderful in dealing with a difficult control situation! I was so happy to see the BetterVetMobile parking for our visit. Just the vehicle puts a smile of comfort and happiness on my face.As always, Dr. M.and Nurse Sam came prepared with their loaded doctors bags and pull-ons of equipment. They set up and asked me for FuzzyCatt updates, the proceededwith The Full Works for seniors: Exam, blood work, urines, then I needed them to give him a manicure (poor fella really needed a claw-clipping). I asked for help removing a few matt's I was unable to work out and that was that. Although P.Kitty got off on a tough start ("Tortured Kitty Drama") by the end, after all that work, he was calm.I love my Vet and their whole team. I feel safe once again, like I had when Jay Jackobowski Village Vet (Dr. Ahmed part of the team) was the Vet for 6 of us for 12+ years. He also made house calls. But this is BetterVets Specialty and they are the best I've used for home service. 10 Stars out of 5.

Thrilled with Bettervet! Had my initial virtual consult Tuesday , I had some big concerns and bettervet was able to schedule a home visit Thursday . Dr Lori and tech were wonderful . Dr. Kiefer and Erin were a great team. Arrived exactly on time per notification - no time wasted in a waiting room. Rolo the dog had his vaccines and a thorough exam of his limp and other hip arthritis, leading to an x-ray and some great recommendations of medications and other therapies. Minot the cat had a biopsy on a lump - he’s a fighter and it wouldn’t have gone well at an animal hospital, but at home he was matter-of-fact about it. Great experience!

Oliver is a sweet and wonderful cat but does not like to behave on his own terms. I was unable to get him into a carrier to get to a vet. Dr. Beberman and her assistant arrived as scheduled and were able to take charge and fix the problem. They were wonderful in dealing with a difficult control situation! Professional and caring in every respect. I would choose BetterVet in a heartbeat.

I was able to book an appointment for the next day. Dr Sidley arrived right on time and both she and Tayla were very helpful, sweet, and gentle with my pets. They were very accommodating and thoughtful and were great with follow ups. Billing was easy and I was easily able to get in touch with Dr Sidley. The app was easy to use and the surgery liason who contacted me was also very sweet and helpful.

Absolutely wonderful! This service was perfect for our cat Soli, who is friendly but gets very stressed out going to other locations. Dr. Sheila and Jamily were extremely lovely and so helpful, not to mention very knowledgeable and efficient. They even took the time to look around the house and help us identify what might be causing Soli's skin allergies and give other general advice. Soli loved them as well and was happy and curious to make new friends :) Thank you for your excellent service!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Cimino’s services. She has been with our family through the death of one dog, which she helped us handle in a way that provided Cider comfort and love as she passed. Subsequently, she helped us adopt a rescue puppy. Dr. Cimino has provided not only health care for Finn, but also advice and support for our family. Finn loves to see Dr. Cimino at our door. If you want a veterinarian who is knowledgeable, professional, kind and supportive, then Dr. Cimino is the obvious choice.

Bettervet helped our family with informative pointers in regards to our 5 year old Lab Rosie. Doctor Scott Perry had a lot of insight to what is best for nutrition and weight management, which orthopedic procedure would be the best fit, and also advice on lifestyle changes. Again, Lois and I are taken with Dr Perry's well-measured discussion, his tone/reach of empathy for the implications of our formative inferences, his capacity to hear/assess our own reasoning about what constitutes satisfactory/efficacious nutrition for a one-year old lab. We would elect Dr Perry as our on-site vet if he were not raising a family across the country.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Review after first vid conference"Straightaway, Lois and I go on the record with singular commendation for the exceptionally thoughtful and incisive discussion fully on offer from Dr Scott Perry.Q for q (and we had a fair amount of these), Dr Perry skillfully communicated his keen parsing of options born of best practices and most likely outcomes (whether this concerned treatments for prevention of Heart-worm or tick and flea “guards”, micro-chipping, stomach tacking, protocols for assessing and addressing eye inflammation/causes thereof . . . ).This professional so keenly navigated the trajectories of our inquiries - just met us at the pass, again and again. So winning.As we discerned the need to seek medical attention for our rescue/adoptee (7 mo old yellow English lab) in advance of the 9:00 pm video-conference, our complication was addressed several hours before our engagement with Dr Perry. The service itself was fine, but the final price was absurd. Almost $500 for a quick exam, a vaccine, blood test and grooming. The last time I used (what was MetroWest Mobile Vet), my bill was under $200. This visit was $200 before anyone even looked at my cat. Needless to say, I won’t be a return customer.

This was a great experience. Shelia was great with my 5 year old cat Baxter who is very skittish around people, he was very calm and just sat there and even allowed his nails to be trimmed. It was so quick and easy.

I was so happy to see the BetterVetMobile parking for our visit. Just the vehicle puts a smile of comfort and happiness on my face.As always, Dr. M.and Nurse Sam came prepared with their loaded doctors bags and pull-ons of equipment. They set up and asked me for FuzzyCatt updates, the proceededwith The Full Works for seniors: Exam, blood work, urines, then I needed them to give him a manicure (poor fella really needed a claw-clipping). I asked for help removing a few matt's I was unable to work out and that was that. Although P.Kitty got off on a tough start ("Tortured Kitty Drama") by the end, after all that work, he was calm.I love my Vet and their whole team. I feel safe once again, like I had when Jay Jackobowski Village Vet (Dr. Ahmed part of the team) was the Vet for 6 of us for 12+ years. He also made house calls. But this is BetterVets Specialty and they are the best I've used for home service. 10 Stars out of 5.

Thrilled with Bettervet! Had my initial virtual consult Tuesday , I had some big concerns and bettervet was able to schedule a home visit Thursday . Dr Lori and tech were wonderful . My dog was happy and calm . Such a nice change from him shaking and terrified at our last vet . I Absolutely without a doubt recommend Bettervet . I was told about fees ahead of visit and the “House call” charge was super reasonable.I am very confident Peanut will get the best care possible with bettervet

We adopt last chance puppers and have had everything from very ill seniors to pups who were feral. Dr. Cimino has seen us through it all with deep care for our animals AND for us. She's made us feel more confident and capable even through lots of medical "stuff" and our dogs have always been at their healthiest through Dr. Cimino's care. What she might not share with you is that Dr. Cimino is VERY highly respected among specialists and surgeons in the area and her diagnoses, treatment plans and attention to the tiniest details is admired and appreciated by her patients and colleagues.The fact that Dr. Cimino comes to your house - at the same or better costs than a local practice - is a lifesaver when you have a reluctant or very sick animal. My only complaint is that she doesn't treat humans! We love her, our dogs ADORE her and we know our outcomes have all been better because of her.

Dani (Crossroads Mobile Vet) has always been there for our family and our four dogs. From bringing them home as puppies to helping them (and our family) transition over the rainbow bridge and every ear infection, lyme outbreak, kennel cough, etc. in between, she educated us and treated us with the utmost compassion. She will be there for your family at anytime, and if she cannot...she will find someone who can be. Having a vet that can come to the house is a luxury that cannot be described. The animals stay calm and happy (even wag their tails when she comes to the door.) She always has treats and a gentle demeanor which puts everyone (human and animal) at ease. I could never say enough about Dr. Dani and all she does for my family.

Last year one of my cats were very sick I wasn't able to help him that came all the way up here into the best they could for him I he passed away a while back I got a new cat and I always be internally grateful for all the help they try to give me it's not the fault of coronavirus created epidemic that prevented me from getting the cat to the vet these people showed me kindness and understanding I was being totally grateful to them I can't travel cuz the arthritis in my knees and my new cat thinks he's Rambo but that's a story for another
