I got my dog, Barley, when I was in the 8th grade at the Sacramento SPCA. We shared the closest bond together. He was the dog that has grown up with me and we’ve shared many great memories together. Last month, within 3 weeks, he got aggressive osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in his jaw. I was told it was a tooth abscess and got his tooth removed. Shortly after the removal, I was notified that it wasn’t an abscessed tooth but instead bone cancer. Literally the next day from getting this news, he was progressively worse. I knew it was time. On 2/6/25 I made the hardest decision to euthanize my best friend. With me recently moving from California to Delaware, I had to do some research to find a place that I’d trust to care for my baby. I found this place through great reviews and I knew my boy would be cared for with them. I contacted them and they were of great assistance and support (I couldn’t stop crying on the phone). I truly feel they cared about my situation. I was continuously kept in the loop with what was going on. Needing closure, I wanted to know when they picked him up from the vet and had him in their care. They notified me the minute they received him and remained in contact during the entire time. I really really appreciate this company. They were super supportive and understanding during this hard time. As of yesterday, I picked Barley up from their office and when I arrived, a woman was there to greet me and she was very kind to me. They had his box on a tiny table with his paw prints and fur layed out ready for me to pick up. The lady there listened to my history of Barley and I and was very kind to me. All around, I have a deep respect for this place. Every person I talked to was super nice and empathetic. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. Thank you Holloway for treating me and Barley with such kindness and respect.

Holloway Pet Cremation Services was excellent to work with. I was on vacation when Daisy passed. At a sitters house. I called Holloway and they immediately left to pick my baby up. They handled her with care. I wanted to view her since I was away when she passed. The cremation dept fixed her all up for me to see. They had her im a silk blanket on a fluffy bed! I could tell they all loved animals as I do. They took great care of my Daisy Mae & I thank them immensely for what they did. They are the only ones I will use now. They also have someone who will come to your house and put them down in the comfort of their own home. I would recommend them to anyone.

Losing a pet is always heart breaking but losing them suddenly is earth shattering. Holloway made everything very easy & every phone call with them brought me alittle bit of peace. I’m so grateful for their fast turn around so we could have our sweet boy back home with us.

The staff of Holloway Pet Cremation Services are amazing. They were so kind, compassionate, and respectful. They explained the process, what they offer, and assured us that our beloved cat would be treated with the utmost respect. When they filled out the form for the urn, a beautiful teak box, and what we wished to be printed on it, they had us review it to be sure it was correct. They offered various fonts, etc. They showed us other mementos they offered. I chose to have a vial with some clippings of his fur. They had us park in front of the crematorium. Our was cat placed on a cart after we gave our permission. I took a minute to whisper my love to him, then gave permission for the young woman to take him. She would be with him through the whole process. We were called when all was done two days later. The box was beautiful and all info was correct. All the staff was wonderful to us and I had to give them all hugs. We even shared a few laughs to ease our sorrow. I highly recommend them!

Beyond wonderful. We brought our sweet Aggie here for cremation and we were so impressed with their service. Losing a pet is so painful but the amount of respect and care Holloway took made us feel so much better. Will definitely go to them in the future. Thank you all again.

The Holloway Pet Cremation Services of Salisbury were not just kind and respectful but they showed us understanding and patience. They treated our Chloe gently and with dignity. We were so happy with the beautiful wooden urn, paw print and fur collection vial. Brian who received her from us was understanding that we were struggling leaving her. He was reassuring and calm. A beautiful card arrived from her care givers Elena & Josh which was so touching. Mr. Monis and Billie were so helpful in helping us pick the right memorial things we looked at. Thank you just doesn't seem enough!

We were so devastated after the loss of our sweet dog Max and the people at Holloway were so kind and patient. When they called to let me know he was in their care, the gentleman was so sweet and unfazed by me being upset. I know their jobs have to be tough but they are professional, compassionate and caring. ❤️ While I wish I never had to write this review, I'd give higher than five stars if I could.

Holloway's Pet Cremation Services is the only way to go when it comes to saying goodbye to your most special friend. I found them through Evergreen, and to be honest, without the kind and nurturing atmosphere this team assembled, idk how I would've copped with losing Fox.They managed to showcase the beauty of his life lived, and that really helped mitigate the pain of losing him. They are so compassionate with your pet, it really feels as though they cared for him/her in a way that you did.They have SO many options to memorialize your pets, and even if you're working with limited space, you can put together something tremendously special to mount on the wall over their favorite cozy spot. (Fox's was under the TV in the bedroom haha)Sorry I'm no photographer, but I've added a couple pics so you guys can see just how high quality the rosewood urns are, and how many options there are for memorabilia.(Head's up, the "once by my side, forever in my heart" sign with the pic and collar was from Amazon...but everything else apart from shelf and light came from the Evergreen experience and from Holloway's catalog.)

Had to have our dog Lila euthanized Friday May 10th. First pet we ever had cremated, a gentleman from Holloway called on Monday to let me know Lila was in their care. So I live in New Jersey and I have a home in Delaware and my 19-year-old cat passed away on Sunday and this is the most amazing place I have ever been to in my life. During one of the most painful moments of my life, I was treated with respect, understanding, and so much compassion. I cannot recommend Holloway Pet Cremation Services highly enough. When my beloved kitty Carl passed, I called at 11:30 pm. I was speaking with their on-call staff within 10 minutes who answered my many questions and understood my pain and tears. When we arrived the following morning, Ms Billye and all of the staff were just the very best. His wooden urn is beautifully engraved, and I will treasure his lock of soft fur always. Great service all across the board.

Absolutely hands down the best place during a tragic loss of a family member. They were so compassionate and respectful from start to finish. The loss of our boy was super sudden and tragic… they gave me the time I needed to say goodbye to him and were so comforting through the whole process. They gave my boy the best care they could while he was there and respected all of my wishes and handled my emotions so graciously. I would never consider another place to take a late pet to for cremation. Their prices are fair and reasonable and they provide so many options for memorabilia. I was a mess when my dog had to be euthanized. I chose cremation and was surprised that it would be pretty inexpensive. I didn’t expect much but, Holloway made the experience so much better. I love the carved box and plaque with her name. They also provided me with a lock of hair for a keepsake. I highly recommend Holloway for your pet cremation.

Losing a loved one is a traumatic experience whether they are human or your 5lb. Yorkie, Sebastian Di' Orr. Holloway Pet Cremation offered comfort and dignity to our loved one and also the family. They treated Sebastian's remains with respect and truly showed sympathy for our loss. When we entered the sanctuary they presented his remains with a tube of his hair and paw print along with his death certificate laid out on a beautiful table with flower arrangement and a lit candle. Definitely a comfort. Holloway placed an obituary on their website and left a beautiful poem in his honor. What a wonderful place with truly compassionate people! We lost our little rescue Yorkie, Brady suddenly & unexpectedly. We are sad beyond belief. Thank you for letting him leave this world with dignity & love. He deserved the best and you provided it for him as you did our Sophie back in November. Grief is not an easy avenue to navigate - everyone reacts differently at their own time and compassion is not something that comes easy with strangers either. To be so compassionate and caring to someone you don’t even know takes a different kind of strength and sentiment. To all of the employees at Holloway pet crematory, thank you. It's really hard when life has to become empty because your Best Friend must say Good-bye. So, in times of such great loss it is truly special to have hands of healing and Love to help heal and overcome. Our precious Daisie was treated with Love and Respect here. We were on Vacation when tragedy struck our beautiful Golden Retriever Willie. We tried everything to save him but no miracle for him. Holloway was in charge of his cremation. We had to leave and was assured that he would be taken care of in the most respectful manor. Our good friend picked up his ashes and as dog people had never dealt with such a respectful business. To most people it’s just a pet but we and she was never treated but with anything but respect and understanding. I cannot recommend this thoughtful and respectful business enough.

They repeated things when I needed it, took their time goong through things with me since I was grieving and barely holding it together. Even after hours, there was always someone available. I wish there were more stars! Jessica and Billie were phenomenal. Unfortunately we lost two pets within seven days. That’s how we came to Holloway. When our first kitty passed, it was our first experience with them. It was so incredibly wonderful (and different) from the places we had to use for two prior losses. I didn’t know we had options. The compassion and empathy these ladies showed from beginning to end was above and beyond any prior experience.The “extras” experienced for the first time were the certificates confirming the ashes belonging to the pets, the quality of the “box,” and the obituary posted on their site. Just unbelievable and so needed after so much heartbreak this past December.Not that I wish anything bad on any fur baby, but if you ever need assistance, contact them for a positive experience under these circumstances.

Hello Jessica & Holloway Pet Cremation ServicesThere are no words to convey how touched and grateful we were when we received Rose’s remains so promptly AND the lovely paw impression you sent us. THANK YOU so MUCH! When we saw it we ALL started to cry.My Dad, Rose’s owner, has moderate dementia at 89 yrs old and one moment he would ask for Rose and the next start crying when remembering that she had passed away. Rose was our furry granddaughter, so you can imagine how much we have loved all of our dogs and why it’s so hard to say goodbye to each of them. They have brought us nothing but love and companionship. We had our GiGi cremated here. The service from start to finish was fantastic. The box her ashes came in was beautiful and the nameplate came out great too. We were greeted at the door and everything was already prepared and on the display table for us. It's hard losing a member of the family but what we got from Holloway will last a lifetime. I just picked up my baby girl, Sophie and my experience was a comforting and warm one. Billye greeted me when I arrived and walked me over to a beautiful table with simple little lit trees, a lantern, candles and some festive garland. The wooden engraved box was set in the midst of the display. Simple & elegant. Thank you for giving our girl a loving & dignified end of life. ♥️🐾

Absolutely, one of the best services available. We had out pet creamation done with the most caring service. Holloway coordinated with our veterinarians office to pick up our pet. We were informed when, we could pick up our dogs ashes. We couldn't believe the beautiful box they provided free with the service. Holloway Pet Creamation Service is highly recommended. Just coordinate it with your vet. I used Johnson-McKee and they were excellent. This all in one service that gave us peace of mind. Thank you Holloway Pet Creamation Service for all you do. The lady that answers the phone is very caring and explains everything in detail. Thank you again. They are worth the call and trusted 100 percent.

Holloway Pet Services cared for us when tragedy struck our family dog. They answered our phone call before hours, took us in with no appointment, showed empathy and thoroughly explained their process, and respectfully cremated our dog.The name engraved box and pawprint we ordered are wonderful.

Absolutely hands down the best place during a tragic loss of a family member. They were so compassionate and respectful from start to finish. The loss of our boy was super sudden and tragic… they gave me the time I needed to say goodbye to him and were so comforting through the whole process. They gave my boy the best care they could while he was there and respected all of my wishes and handled my emotions so graciously. I would never consider another place to take a late pet to for cremation. Their prices are fair and reasonable and they provide so many options for memorabilia. A tragic reason to meet all of these angels of people

I was a mess when my dog had to be euthanized. I chose cremation and was surprised that it would be pretty inexpensive. I didn’t expect much but, Holloway made the experience so much better. I love the carved box and plaque with her name. They also provided me with a lock of hair for a keepsake. I highly recommend Holloway for your pet cremation.

Losing a loved one is a traumatic experience whether they are human or your 5lb. Yorkie, Sebastian Di' Orr. Holloway Pet Cremation offered comfort and dignity to our loved one and also the family. They treated Sebastian's remains with respect and truly showed sympathy for our loss. When we entered the sanctuary they presented his remains with a tube of his hair and paw print along with his death certificate laid out on a beautiful table with flower arrangement and a lit candle. Definitely a comfort. Holloway placed an obituary on their website and left a beautiful poem in his honor. This is a wonderful service that Holloway Pet Cremation offers and we are absolutely thankful. Handley & Marie Orr

What a wonderful place with truly compassionate people! We lost our little rescue Yorkie, Brady suddenly & unexpectedly. We are sad beyond belief. Thank you for letting him leave this world with dignity & love. He deserved the best and you provided it for him as you did our Sophie back in November. Holloway is not a place I want to visit again anytime soon but what the time comes again, we will definitely use your services. Thank you for the beautiful obituary as well.
