I have worked directly with the Holloway Funeral Home on four different occasions and each time, the entire staff made a very difficult time much easier for our family. I have always found them to be extremely professional in handing each aspect of funeral planning. I am so impressed with their patience, compassion, professionalism and excellent communication throughout the process and would highly recommend them to anyone making funeral preparations.

Holloways Funeral Home was absolutely wonderful to my family in the last several months. Unfortunately, we needed their services twice in 3 months and each time, their staff made decisions easier for us. Ashley was great at our first visit. She guided us through the process of cremation with professionalism and knowledge. Ty helped us the 2nd time with a traditional funeral service and rearranged schedule to fit into our loved ones wishes. She was very kind, patient and professional. I can't say enough good things about this company. It helps to have such a dedicated team to help see you through in your time of grief. The entire staff were kind, caring and compassionate.

She made the experience so personal and easy. She informed us of everything taking place and how things were being handled. Her performance made it so comforting to me and my sister. Holloways was very professional and polite from the minute we walked in the door. They listened to our concerns and the services we wanted. They fully went over everything so we understood what was happening. They were able to fit us in a very tight time line for a cremation. They then went a step further and I received a phone call from the person who helped us originally after Christmas to make sure that we were all ok as the holidays can be hard after a loved one passed. I also received a text message after my dad’s service to check on us as well. I thought that was so thoughtful of them to reach out after both holidays. We also used them when my grandfather passed away a few years ago as well. I highly recommend Holloway Funeral Home.

When my Dad passed away suddenly in Sept 2023 Holloways was wonderful to work with from the initial contact all the way through to the funeral.During this same time our Mom was in the final stages of dementia. Knowing this and given the sudden passing of our Dad, my brother and I knew that we didnt want the added stress of planning a funeral when Mom passed so we made a pre planning appointment with Jeff. He walked us through all the paperwork step by step and made the process as easy as possible.Mom passed away 7 and half months later on April 24th 2024 and we just had her service on Saturday May 11th. Hannah was our contact at Holloways and she was fantastic. She was quick to very warm and welcoming and always very responsive to any questions. Chad who we worked with on the day of the service was also wonderful.Very thankful for the staff at Holloways for the care they showed our family with the passing of both Mom and Dad.

I have never personally had to contact Holloway for their services before. Unfortunately, we just recently had to because our extremely loved dog passed away and we wanted him cremated. I was so impressed with their level of caring and respect shown to us during this difficult time. The vet’s office contacted Holloway’s and they picked our boy up, walked us through the process via telephone and then called us when his cremains were ready for pick up. Jessica was so kind when we went to pick him up. I can’t thank them enough. I highly recommend their services!

My siblings and I used Holloway Funeral services at the Salisbury location last week after our mother passed away suddenly in the middle of the global pandemic. We only wanted the best and Holloway funeral services are highly recommended.Keith and his staff were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. The whole process was emotionally difficult due to the fact I was all the way in New Jersey, in the middle of a global pandemic, and my mom passed away in Salisbury while she was visiting but, I never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. All the logistical items were clear, and Keith took the time to explain everything in detail. They definitely took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was very much appreciated.Holloway Funeral Services showed great respect and care throughout. If I requested information, Keith was very responsive and provided the information I needed right away. No hoops to jump through, or multiple calls to make. I highly recommend them.Thank you! You truly made a difference during such a difficult time.

This is an update to my original review. I felt that management took my concerns seriously and addressed them appropriately after I took issue with the planning for my mother's service. It turned out pretty well all things considered. Even after the pandemic subsides, there will still be a significant amount of virtual interaction required in our society. All businesses need to be prepared.Original review:I had a very different experience with Holloway Funeral Home than the other reviewers. Apparently I didn't spend enough money because the tone of this business transaction changed entirely when we decided on a virtual service. I'm extremely frustrated and stressed during a time when I should be given the space to mourn my mother's passing. I was surprised because I have only seen and experienced good things with Holloway in the past. Based on this experience, my family and I will work with a different funeral home in the future.

My mother in law was sent from the nursing home to Holloway’s funeral home by accident after she passed away. The owner and the employees all went above and beyond to help us get her to the right place. They even made the calls and contacted the right people that we needed to get in touch with. They were the most kind hearted people I have ever dealt with in my whole life. My husband I were so stressed and grieving and these people were sent from heaven. They wouldn’t even accept a cash donation for all of their help that they did not have to give us. We are so thankful for this place. May God bless them as much as they blessed us and others.

I moved from PA and I had 2 pets pass away within 5 months of eachother. It was absolutely devastating. Dealing with an unfamiliar place was scary until I met Joy in the pet section of the funeral home. She is the most pleasant & comforting person I've ever met. Her name says it all. She is a true "joy" to work with. I know my pets Beau & Zola's remains were treated with respect & dignity. I'm very grateful.Also the memorial products they have are so nice. It was all around a wonderful experience during one of the saddest two times in my life.

Very impressed of how they respected and cared for my father's cremation and then two.months later when my pet Patches passed away unexpectedly. They take as good as care of my cat Patches as they did my father. Thank you Hollaway.
