When I needed an inexpensive Vet to give Bear vaccines, I came here. A great Vet! I also received dog food because of my budget and health, again thankful. Then, later Bear became extremely sick and my Vet in Catonsville had to put him down. I was and I am still distraught because he was only ten. I came out here to have my Bear cremated and brought home. Again, your place was kind. I had his name engraved on the nice cedar box. So beautiful. Thank you!I notice all the volunteers doing a great job with the rescue animals, and I am happy to see they enjoy their time caring for them.This place has amazed me. I am very pleased. If I was younger I would volunteer, yet I am an old toot!

Baltimore is my home. Even though I do not live there, all my pets have been buried there since 1984. They have accommodated me when I have to coordinate between NJ and driving down for burial. I have since updated all the grave markers to the granite, which I have personally designed.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but working with the Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park has made the process much easier. In spite of this being one of the worst times in our life, the Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park was unsurpassed.We could not have asked for a more beautiful service or setting for our beloved dog Tank to be buried.Matthew Wilson, the Funeral Director was kind, professional, compassionate, thoughtful and sympathetic during this extremely difficult time. Nothing was too much of an inconvenience and Matthew went out of his way to make everything perfect.We can never thank him enough for all he did with the exceptional arrangements. I am so grateful for Matthew's guidance and compassion. He took care of our every need effortlessly. Matthew and the Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park assisted us through a very challenging time. I can highly recommend this wonderful final resting place for a beloved pet. I still visit the grave many times throughout the year and receive much comfort knowing my dearly loved dog is buried in such a special place.

First off I would like to say that the Baltimore, Humane Society Memorial Park located in Reisterstown Maryland they had came in the clutch at the very last minute of course this was not my favorite day, but I would like to say that the staff was all nice and cost of everything at the time was that $225 Which is a sweet deal for all that I got in the memory of my cat I will recommend and come back again

I cannot say enough good things about this shelter and their track record of GETTING ANIMALS ADOPTED! The dedication, professionalism, energy and compassion of the staff and management is unsurpassed. Every cent that is donated goes to its best possible use for these animals and every event is extremely well executed and super fun! A very worthy cause for your donations!! 💗

I cannot express how spectacular the Baltimore Humane Society Pet Cemetery and Memorial Services was during a terrible time in our lives. Matt Wilson was helpful, responsive and kind. He provided valuable information that allowed us to focus on our cat in his last day rather than focusing on the details of his burial. I have two young children who never knew a life without our cat. It was a devastating time. Matt treated my children with compassion and no detail or request from us was seen as silly. We now have a beautiful and peaceful place to visit our beloved cat.

I never realized what the Baltimore Humane Society was all about, until I needed them for myself.Just recently l lost my beautiful cat to a terrible illness. I was devastated and didn’t know where to turn for solace. I found out that the Humane Society has a Grief Counseling Group, which I have been attending. This has been very therapeutic and has been helping me through my pain.I truly would like to recommend and rate the Baltimore Humane Society with a 5 star rating. They have been there for me in my time of need, and still are.Thank you.

Veronica had just recently started at BHS when I lost my Beloved Yorkie(17 yrs old) April 25, 2018. I was such a mess, not being able to decidewhat type of burial service to have. She was a great comfort in assuring me that I could take all the time I needed, that my pet was being well care for. I can't remember how many times I called her (she gave me her cellphone #) and each time I did she was sooo compassionate. She helpedme pick out a beautiful location, and after all was said and done, it was such a relief to know that he was finally at rest and I was at peace.Thank You Veronica for who you are and all you do!!

This is an absolutely wonderful place. I was devastated after my beloved cat Shadow died and at first, I did not know where to turn. Veronica Van Hof was there with support and understanding from the start, and with her help I was able to honor Shadow with a ceremony and burial. I also strongly suggest the bereavement group, which meets with Veronica every first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm and has been a godsend for me.

Was here to get my female puppy spade. The area was very nice and well maintained. I was here many years ago, getting my first pup from them. Sadly he passed away since then, just this January. I ended up getting another dog and needed to get her fixed. Only issue I had was getting the appointment booked. When it opens on it, book it asap, don't wait. They open appointment booking on each new month a day or two ahead. So keep checking. Pricing is fair, but keep in mind they will charge for extra if something comes up like extra weight, or like fleas. They have a place for the spaying and neutering, a place for the adoption process and a place where the dogs, cats or other small animals are at. They have a cemetary for pets only. You pay a fee to bury your pet there. They do have a restroom if needed.

I learned of the Memorial Park and the Bereavement Support Group when I lost my beloved dog Gracie in early 2016. The support group and counselors were a tremendous help during a very difficult time. Pet loss grief is often misunderstood or considered insignificant, and resources for helping pet owners cope are few and far between. I cannot say enough about how supportive this resource is and how much it helped me through the loss of my pet, understanding the grief process, feeling less alone, and having hope. Just being around other pet owners who understand each other's experiences and do not require explanation, is invaluable and uplifting. I highly recommend that anyone who has lost a pet - whether recently or in the distant past - take advantage of the support group.In addition to the support group, the memorial park office also offers cremation and burial services, personalized funeral services, pre-planning, and a variety of special ways to memorialize your pet.And the Memorial Park itself is a peaceful and beautiful place for pets to rest and their owners to visit, and staff and volunteers work hard to maintain the grounds.This is a truly wonderful resource to have in our community.

We have buried all our dogs at the BHS memorial Park. There have been some issues in the past but with Veronica at the helm everything seems to be back on track, and that makes this the perfect place to bury your beloved pet.
