Yesterday I brought my baby girl into this place with my father. She was my best friend since I was 2 years old. She was the sweetest girl. We had to put her down due to kidney failure. She was 13. It's so heartbreaking that we had to do that to our poor baby. I was so anxious to bring her to be cremated because I just wanted my baby back in her original form. It was so hard for me. As soon as we went in I just felt so much better because the guy was so nice. I miss my baby still obviously, but I knew she was in good hands. This was also a super quick process. We are already on our way to get her today. I'm so excited to go get my pup. I miss her but their kind services make this process easier for me. Here's a picture of my sweet Lola May. Thank you ashes to ashes for making it so that we can keep my sweet baby forever even if it's not in her original form. They are sweet people here!

Jill and I have had five dogs in our 57 married years. They were all like children…of course though, needing daily attention even more so than kids. They all lasted to 15, 16 and this little Scoutie Boy to 17 and 11 days. He was tough as nails to his last day, hardly complaining of all his ailments…becoming a lesson for us. Kim and Brent made this very special one’s passing on into his ashes, to be our last pet for us to get to receive its love, the best we could ever imagine. Their special operation became a comfortable last memory of Scout.

It is heart breaking when you lose a pet. They are our fur babies. Unfortunately for us we lost our sweet sweet Nova on Tuesday and I was calling around to find a place and Ashes to Ashes was recommended. I called and even though they were closed, he opened his doors and allowed us to bring her there. We picked out 3 beautiful necklaces, he weighed her and told us to take as much time as we needed. I can't thank them enough for what they did for our family in a time of loss. Thank you so much.

Just two weeks ago we had to say goodbye to our sweet Golden boy Kobi. Two weeks later we had to say goodbye to our sweet Golden girl Cali. So heartbreaking. Ashes to Ashes was there for us immediately and were so kind and compassionate through the whole thing. I don’t know what we would have done without them. I'm posting on behalf of my mom. Her dog died on Valentine's Day and needed somewhere to get him cremated. I looked up these guys and had her call the next morning. She called for a quote and was able to bring the body over the same day, the guy on the phone was nice and helpful too. She's just waiting to pick up the ashes on Saturday now

My precious cat, my loyalty friend and companion passed peacefully from breast cancer on Monday. I called Ashes to Ashes and was able to bring her there that afternoon. After moving into town only two days prior, one of my dogs died in the middle of the night. I didn't know anyone in town, and had no idea who to call. A Google search, with my deceased dog at my feet, led me to Ashes To Ashes Pet Crematory. I was able to get the owner on the phone about 7:30AM. He was very receptive and understanding of my situation. About an hour later I was at his facility. He patiently described the process and my available options. The cremation was completed, and I was able to pick up the remains the next day. They perform a needed service at a fair price, and made the best of a bad situation for me. If ever needed, you can be confident that Ashes To Ashes will treat your pet like the family member they are.

Given the situation the people at Ashes To Ashes were very kind, polite, and compassionate to everyone I saw them speak to the day I dropped off my daughters pet. I wish I didn't have to use their services, I'd rather have my puppy back the way he was, but I'm glad they were available when we needed them. It's really great that they offer paw prints and fur but sadly Pippin was hit by a car so we decided not to do those.The office is nice and the prices are fair, and I trust them that they did the private cremation like we asked for and didn't get his ashes mixed up. Everything was labeled - both the paper bag and the urn inside. There was also a lovely printed message with it that we'll see our pets again.

Very compassionate, professional, and great to work with. The process was completed the next day(private service) and we got our puppy Ollie back in a couple days. This was our first loss of a family pet and we were a little unsure of what to do. I am very glad we found Ashes to ashes. We will be getting an urn from them also, as soon as we can. The prices were much more affordable than we expected and even allowed us to get a puppy print that came out perfect as another way to remember Ollie by. Thank you very much.

When our kitty passed over the weekend I called on a Saturday morning and asked about their services. I spoke with the gentleman there and he asked where I lived and I told him. He said unfortunately we have a family function that we’re going to this afternoon so we won’t be available but call back on Monday and we’ll get you in. Unfortunately my schedule didn’t allow me to call back until Wednesday and I told them I’d be in the area the next day. I spoke with a woman this time and she asked when I’d be in the area. I told her and when I showed up, I was informed of all the cost associated and then brought my kitty in. He gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye and he got the information together for me. I was so appreciative of the compassion he showed. Thank you for your service.

I dropped off my beloved pet for cremation. I was taken by the man's coldness. "Well, let me go weigh him so I can see how much to charge you." No I'm sorry for your loss" from this place. He said I could go back in the crematory to say goodbye to my dog and there was a deceased cat (uncovered) not three feet from my pet. There's another bay to the building where a private goodbye could be allowed. When I returned to pick up my pet's ashes, I told him at the very least, the cat should have been covered up. He got defensive and said, "What do you expect? We handle a lot of animals here and that's the business we're in!" With that logic, I guess it should be ok to walk in and see 5-6 uncovered deceased animals. I told him he would be more suited to sell dental floss than do business with people who are at one of the lowest points in their life.Also, no bathroom as "there is no water in the building". ??? For many it's a long drive to LaGrange but a bathroom costs money and that would take away from profits.I don't recommend this business.

10/10, drove there on a Monday and a holiday in a snowstorm for my little guy and we had his ashes back the same week. Super compassionate and understanding, the urn is beautiful, and better price than anywhere in the southern part of the state. Don't want to have to use again anytime soon, but will absolutely use again

My dog of 14 years Caramell passed away February 15 th of this year very early in the morning. I was very upset ,because due to circumstances beyond my control , I had no money.can I called ashes to ashes and explained the situation to them and they were kind enough to tell me to bring her right in they would take good care of her and I could come and pick her up when I had the money. They were so nice to me! They have beautiful urns and remembrance jewelry and it is so nice of them to take care of her and allow me to pick her up when I can afford it. These people are awesome they’re kind they are generous and they really care! I would recommend them to anyone who is grieving the loss of a fur Baby.All I have to say is they are the most compassionate people I have ever met.

My Wife and I shared our experience with this business couple weeks after having to make the difficult and heartfelt decision to put our furbaby girl to rest at Broadway Veterinary Clinic. They received her that same day and had her back to the clinic 3 days later. Although BVC dropped the ball, even after we called and inquired about the progress of her cremation (which isn't cheap, even on a 5 lb cat, poor thing) on two separate occasions. Finally on the 19th they let us know they had sent her here! Ashes to Ashes were very respectful and accommodating throughout the entire process. My little Brady passed away on August 8, 2020 at 11:15 AM. I called them and they were able to see me immediately. It definitely helped with the grieving process, knowing that he was going to be taken care of. They listened to me and helped me picked out the perfect urn for him. They provided me with all the options available but didn't try to push a sale on me. They gave me the option of picking his cremains up or sending them priority mail with tracking. They sent his cremains out on Tuesday and he was at my door on Friday. I am so thankful of Ashes to Ashes for being there for me during one of the worst days of my life. I really appreciate their sympathy and dedication.

In a time of such distress, I have never seen such respect my Fergus received as well as myself. Fergus was a 180 pound,12 yo precious buddy dog, my baby. Finding an urn was a challenge, but they found one. They were not sure of the paw print as his paw was so large, but they got it. This was so very important for me to have of my best friend that I love so very much. These people care about the fur babies and the owners. Highly recommend.

I've not been able to put the words together to write this review. However, I feel like today is the day to do so. I lost my almost 9-year-old Rottweiler unexpectedly on Monday, February 6th, 2023. Gene reached out to me on the 7th with information that my boy would be cremated on Friday, February 10th, 2023, and asked that if I had any questions, or concerns, to please reach out to them. On Friday, February 10th, 2023, Ardys called me once Rasta's cremation was completed and let me know he was ready to come home. We picked up Rasta's ashes on Saturday, February 11th, 2023. We met with Gene who was incredibly sincere and knowledgeable in his profession. We picked out a beautiful urn for Rasta, which matched his personality. Given the circumstances, and unexpected nature of losing a furchild, Ashes to Ashes was readily available to assist in our time of need. The facility is beautiful, well kept, and very clean. It was very clear that Gene was an animal lover himself, and in talking with him, felt incredibly relieved knowing that Rasta was in their hands.

While I ultimately did not choose to go with a cremation I can say this.These folks seem to really genuinely care about you and your fur buddies. They took the time to talk to me and guide me in the right direction through a very tough period. I have several people in my life who have had these folks take care of a loved pet and no one had a single bad thing to say. As someone who owns their own business I can tell you it starts with customer communication, and these guys nailed it.

I lost my beloved dog Toby early this morning, and a friend recommended ashes to ashes to handle his cremation. I called and spoke to Gene this morning, and he was able to see me the same day. Gene was so polite, and understanding and made me feel right at home. I said my goodbyes to my boy and through the sadness and tears Gene promised me he would take good care of my little man. One of the saddest days of my life was May 7, 2020. My beautiful Dancer went to Rainbow Bridge. Gene and Bonnie exhibited respect, compassion and caring when I arrived. They handled Dancer's remains gently and assisted me in picking out her urn and paw keepsake. Dancer was returned to me within 1 day! I cannot say enough about these caring people. Thank you!!!

This was the first time I've lost a pet .My dog was 13 and grew up with my kids. They made it more bearable and handled my dogs remains with respect. Several years ago we brought our beloved family dog Beezie to be cremated and received compassionate care from start to finish. It was a 2 hour drive for us and it was worth the long haul. My friend and I were dreading the experience and instead came away feeling like we made the best decision for Beezie. She had a caring and dignified end. Don't let ur vet cremate call here 1st ...my family lost our dog Spot due to age 11 years ...we left the vets unclear what to do with our dog my daughter found Ashes to Ashes on google and we contacted them and spoke with Gene he was super helpful caring and understanding talked us thru it put us at ease knowing this was the right move.. Offered to get collar and hair clippings When we where there he was super helpful and they offer a wide variety of great products urns keepsakes .braclet and necklaces most all very affordable. thanks Gene

I had to put my 4 month baby girl to sleep this past weekend and it was the hardest thing to do in my whole life. Ashes to Ashes made this whole transition easy we called and inwas able to bring in my 4 month old puppy in as soon as possible. It was a easy process and even clarified to me what was going to be done and the steps to do it. They clipped some of her fur for me to hold on to and the best part ( that didnt come to mind due to just being over whelmed) they managed to save my favorite black spot on Liliths tail. And the only spot she had and some how still kept it intact after clipping it. You can tell she was handled with care. They have a massive selection of urns and jewelry. Im planning on coming back for my Lilith to be put in a bracelet so i will always have her with me. I would highly Recommend Ashes to ashes to any one who has had a loss of a pet. They made the experience easy and quick. They were nice and helpful. The whole process was done without much thought on my end which is kind of nice when things happen unexpectedly. I gave 4 stars because I would give anything for a different paw print. ANYTHING!! that foam is terrible! I wish there has been no weird germs in it and Please consider doing the baked stuff. For this alone I would choose another place next time. But that's only because it's the only thing you have left at the end and I want it to last.

I have had 2 pets pass away very suddenly this last year. In both occasions, Gene and his team did everything in their power to accommodate my families needs during this trying and painful time. I called them very late at night, and not only did they answer my call, but made sure that the needs of my family came first. My mother-in-law's cat passed away recently and we needed an appropriate way of dealing with its remains. After doing some research, we decided that our best option would be Ashes to Ashes, even though it is approximately 100 miles from where we live. It was the wisest decision we could have made. The folks at Ashes to Ashes are genuine pet lovers and made sure that mom's cat was well taken care of. Not only were we able to have the cat cremated (with a certificate authenticating that we were receiving her ashes), but we were able to pick out a beautiful box for her remains and get a plaque of her paw-print. When we called local veterinarians to ask about their prices, the average was around $120 for a simple cremation. Ashes to Ashes cost just a few dollars more, but for that we got the cremation, box and plaque as well as having the remains mailed back to us (in the box with her collar, favorite toy and a lock of her fur). If you're looking for a pet cremation service in Maine, you can't do better than Ashes to Ashes.

10/10, drove there on a Monday and a holiday in a snowstorm for my little guy and we had his ashes back the same week. My dog of 14 years Caramell passed away February 15 th of this year very early in the morning. I was very upset ,because due to circumstances beyond my control , I had no money.can I called ashes to ashes and explained the situation to them and they were kind enough to tell me to bring her right in they would take good care of her and I could come and pick her up when I had the money. They were so nice to me! They have beautiful urns and remembrance jewelry and it is so nice of them to take care of her and allow me to pick her up when I can afford it. These people are awesome they’re kind they are generous and they really care! My Wife and I shared our experience with this business couple weeks after having to make the difficult and heartfelt decision to put our furbaby girl to rest at Broadway Veterinary Clinic. They received her that same day and had her back to the clinic 3 days later. Although BVC dropped the ball, even after we called and inquired about the progress of her cremation (which isn't cheap, even on a 5 lb cat, poor thing) on two separate occasions. Finally on the 19th they let us know they had sent her here! Ashes to Ashes were very respectful and accommodating throughout the entire process. My little Brady passed away on August 8, 2020 at 11:15 AM. I called them and they were able to see me immediately. It definitely helped with the grieving process, knowing that he was going to be taken care of. They listened to me and helped me picked out the perfect urn for him. They provided me with all the options available but didn't try to push a sale on me. They gave me the option of picking his cremains up or sending them priority mail with tracking. They sent his cremains out on Tuesday and he was at my door on Friday. I am so thankful of Ashes to Ashes for being there for me during one of the worst days of my life. I really appreciate their sympathy and dedication.

In a time of such distress, I have never seen such respect my Fergus received as well as myself. Fergus was a 180 pound,12 yo precious buddy dog, my baby. Finding an urn was a challenge, but they found one. They were not sure of the paw print as his paw was so large, but they got it. This was so very important for me to have of my best friend that I love so very much. These people care about the fur babies and the owners. Highly recommend.

I've not been able to put the words together to write this review. However, I feel like today is the day to do so. I lost my almost 9-year-old Rottweiler unexpectedly on Monday, February 6th, 2023. Gene reached out to me on the 7th with information that my boy would be cremated on Friday, February 10th, 2023, and asked that if I had any questions, or concerns, to please reach out to them. On Friday, February 10th, 2023, Ardys called me once Rasta's cremation was completed and let me know he was ready to come home. We picked up Rasta's ashes on Saturday, February 11th, 2023. We met with Gene who was incredibly sincere and knowledgeable in his profession. We picked out a beautiful urn for Rasta, which matched his personality. Given the circumstances, and unexpected nature of losing a furchild, Ashes to Ashes was readily available to assist in our time of need. The facility is beautiful, well kept, and very clean. It was very clear that Gene was an animal lover himself, and in talking with him, felt incredibly relieved knowing that Rasta was in their hands.

While I ultimately did not choose to go with a cremation I can say this.These folks seem to really genuinely care about you and your fur buddies. They took the time to talk to me and guide me in the right direction through a very tough period. I have several people in my life who have had these folks take care of a loved pet and no one had a single bad thing to say. As someone who owns their own business I can tell you it starts with customer communication, and these guys nailed it.

I lost my beloved dog Toby early this morning, and a friend recommended ashes to ashes to handle his cremation. I called and spoke to Gene this morning, and he was able to see me the same day. One of the saddest days of my life was May 7, 2020. My beautiful Dancer went to Rainbow Bridge. Gene and Bonnie exhibited respect, compassion and caring when I arrived. This was the first time I've lost a pet .My dog was 13 and grew up with my kids. They made it more bearable and handled my dogs remains with respect. Don't let ur vet cremate call here 1st ...my family lost our dog Spot due to age 11 years ...we left the vets unclear what to do with our dog my daughter found Ashes to Ashes on google and we contacted them and spoke with Gene he was super helpful caring and understanding talked us thru it put us at ease knowing this was the right move.. I had to put my 4 month baby girl to sleep this past weekend and it was the hardest thing to do in my whole life. Ashes to Ashes made this whole transition easy we called and inwas able to bring in my 4 month old puppy in as soon as possible. It was a easy process and even clarified to me what was going to be done and the steps to do it. They clipped some of her fur for me to hold on to and the best part ( that didnt come to mind due to just being over whelmed) they managed to save my favorite black spot on Liliths tail. And the only spot she had and some how still kept it intact after clipping it. You can tell she was handled with care. They have a massive selection of urns and jewelry. Im planning on coming back for my Lilith to be put in a bracelet so i will always have her with me. I would highly Recommend Ashes to ashes to any one who has had a loss of a pet. I highly recommend Ashes to Ashes. My Dad bought his dog to them and was very pleased with the service. My daughter recently had a rat that we bought to be cremated, which is not something to would get at most places and just this week, I had brought my baby Max there. They made the experience easy and quick. They were nice and helpful. The whole process was done without much thought on my end which is kind of nice when things happen unexpectedly. I gave 4 stars because I would give anything for a different paw print. ANYTHING!! that foam is terrible! I wish there has been no weird germs in it and Please consider doing the baked stuff. For this alone I would choose another place next time. But that's only because it's the only thing you have left at the end and I want it to last.
