Losing Joey was absolutely devastating, especially as this was my first experience losing a dog. I cannot say enough about how incredible Ali and the team at Bluegrass Pet Crematorium were throughout the entire process. Ali guided me with such care, walking me through every step in advance so I knew what to expect. She even helped me choose Joey’s urn ahead of time, sparing me from having to make that decision during an incredibly emotional time.When Joey passed, Ali was there to receive him, and she kept me updated throughout the process. Knowing exactly when to expect his cremated remains was such a relief, and it brought me so much comfort to have him back home. The urn I chose was absolutely beautiful, and the keepsakes Ali created with Joey’s paw prints and a nose impression were truly special.It meant so much to me to know that Joey’s cremation took place on-site and that he never left their care. Having that peace of mind was invaluable during such a difficult time. I cannot recommend Bluegrass Pet Crematorium enough for anyone facing the loss of a beloved pet. Ali’s compassion and professionalism were unmatched—I would trust her with my own arrangements.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for the special love and care you gave to our precious girl, Lady. She tragically passed away last week and today she came back home to us in the most gorgeous wooden box. She was only 3 years old and was the light of mine and my 3 daughters’ lives, and our hearts have been shattered ever since we lost her. The beautiful “Rainbow Bridge” bag was so incredibly special and the paw print is just perfect. These things and having her back home brought me peace and comfort. Our family will forever cherish what you all have given us, it means the world. Thank you so much. 💜

The staff was great, they took very good care of my Lebowski. Very nice wooden box for his remains, a clay heart with his name and paw print, a little glass bottle of hair, a card that was signed by several different staff members and then all wrapped in a very nice rainbow bridge bag. I am very pleased, you can tell they really care!

I lost my cat unexpectedly and suddenly. To say I was devastated was is an understatement, despite balling my eyes out in their office, they were exceptionally kind and compassionate. I can not thank them enough for the beautiful work they did. Her box is my favorite and her ceramic paw prints I will cherish forever. I cannot begin to tell you how compassionate and kind they will be for your beloved pet. We had a little colony cat that lived at our place. Burt recently passed and they were so kind on getting him cremated and getting his ashes back to us. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is an animal lover. Our beloved dog passed away unexpectedly in the middle of the night. Even though the next morning was a Sunday, Bluegrass Pet Crematorium answered my messages, showed us incredible compassion, and allowed us to bring Ranger directly to them that morning. In our grief, it somehow felt better to us than taking him to an emergency vet to wait until Tuesday for a pick up. Their continued communication throughout the process until we were able to pick up his ashes was patient and kind. In our shock and grief, the kindness shown to us was a welcome comfort.

I can’t thank Bluegrass Pet Crematorium enough for their caring compassion in such a difficult time. This is the second time I’ve sent a sweet furbaby to the bridge using BPC and I will not use anyone else.They go above and beyond to ensure your needs are met, providing compassion, assistance, understanding and even a shoulder to cry on if needed. Amazing!!!!!! I dealt with staff on the phone and in person when my sweet Ricky moved on. Each person was extremely sensitive and caring. I was a complete mess and probably didn’t make much sense. They were patient and kind which made this hard process easier. I highly recommend.

My little buddy Socks passed away pretty suddenly and we weren’t sure what to do next. This was the first time we had ever lost a pet. I’m extremely grateful we found Bluegrass Pet Crematorium. They were very kind and answered all of our questions on the phone. I asked if they could make a set of both her front and back paw prints and they kindly made it happen. Didn't even bother to call that the ashes of my pet were ready, I talk the employee to keep the blanket of my pet before leaving. When i pick the ashes of my pet I ask about the blankets. They look around but couldn't find them. I talk the owner that they were memories of my pet and all she said we cremate over 500 animals here, I would told you keep then and we never lost an item here. lack of sympathy or character for an owners going thru a losing his pet. Would not recommend

If you're having to search for a crematorium, you are likely in a sad emotional state. It is such a hard process and the staff here provide a level of comfort that I didn't know existed. The staff (Gina, Ally & Abby) knew how heart broken my wife and I were, and they catered to every single need and answered every single question we had. We wanted to witness a private cremation to ensure a secure and peaceful process. No place would allow this, but they made it happen. They truly care about the way you feel.

We have lost two pets this year and the staff and owners have been excellent in handling our beloved family members with respect and dignity. They have gone out of their way to accommodate us and to help bring peace and aid in the healing process at a very difficult time. We went through our vet for their services with one pet, and went directly to the crematorium with the second one where we were met with much compassion. Our pets' ashes were returned in a beautiful box inside a velvet bag. We also received their paw prints in a clay mold. I cannot say enough how much we appreciate their services. I highly recommend them!

Over the years, Bluegrass Pet Crematorium has cared for 5 of our pets. Each time, the staff has been compassionate and accomodating and helped make a sad time a little more bearable. Most recently, we used them with the passage of our 8 1/2 year old guinea pig. They gave us time with him and even gave him some pets, which we appreciated. He was returned to us with paw prints and his remains were packaged beautifully. I cannot imagine taking our small animal family members anywhere else and give them my highest recommendation. These people are top notch.

Bluegrass Pet Crematorium was amazing in helping with our grieving process after losing our beloved Ruby. They were very sweet and caring, and fulfilled our request to see their process of cremation, allowing us to see our baby one last time before she was turned to ash and placed in the most beautiful wooden urn. Highly recommend going here for anyone who lost a pet. They also handmade a tablet of clay that was heart-shaped and had our kitty’s footprints, as well as her name and a flower design embedded. They were very caring and sweet, thank you so much!

At Critter Sitters, we only refer Bluegrass Pet Crematorium to our clients, and we have cremated 3 of our own pets with them. They even came to my house to pick up my sweet Olivia because it was just too hard on us. They have so much compassion, and are available at the worst of times. I don't have enough positive to say about the team. It is stressful enough to lose a loved pet. But to lose one while bringing a new human into the world is an extra level. BPC was incredibly thoughtful & kind and were able to help accommodate our situation to ensure Sadie was commemorated in most wonderful way possible. Brought my cat of 17 years in. Paw print was great, box was perfect, and the thing that meant the most to me was the glass vial of her fur. She was 3 colors, and I have 3 clumps of fur of her colors in the vial. I wasn't expecting it, and something small like that meant the world to me. Besides her personality, her fur was one of my favorite things about her. Highly recommend bringing your pet here.

Without exception I have received excellent and compassionate service from Gina Kirwan and her staff. It is never easy to say goodbye to our beloved pets but knowing that they will receive respectful care at this final step is very comforting. This place is a blessing for Lexington. My mom has Alzheimer’s and her beloved cat, of 20+ years, Winston passed away. I was at a loss on what do do with Winston’s body. I called Bluegrass Pet Crematorium and the lovely folks were so kind and patient with my mom and me. They did not try to rush us or upsell us. They just let my mom and me sit in their lobby and cry. One of the staff members even cut a piece of Winston’s fur for us to have. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!

I really want to be happy with my experience but I am not. I did not receive what I ordered. I did not get one I'm sorry for your loss. Everything felt incredibly rushed and even when I voice my concern she said I'm so sorry that we've been busy. They did not let me know that they would cremate my dog's collar with her unless I asked. Since this is my first loss of a dog I did not know I needed to make that request. The lack of compassion was appalling. I know that this was just a job to her but this was my family member.

Excellent service, caring and compassionate staff (including therapy cats). The manager went the extra mile to ensure we memorialized our dog in a special way. They offer extra items such as necklaces and bracelets in addition to urns and decorative boxes. Skip the vet and call if you need to make final arrangements for your pets.

My best friend called them and took her to them. Two days later I am holding a clay paw imprint, have my baby in an urn to keep and material on how to cope during such a loss. I can't thank Bluegrass Pet Crematorium enough for the utmost compassionate and professional experience during an extremely emotional time at the passing of my beloved Jack. They are conveniently located and I loved that he wasn't shipped somewhere else to be cremated. Everything is right there. They gave me a certificate of cremation, a clay imprint of Jack's paw, and they have a lovely and diverse selection of boxes and urns. I highly recommend.

I’m extremely happy with the service I got here. My baby girl Molly passed and I found bluegrass pet crematorium online. I wasn’t able to pay the same day, they let me come back the next day and pay half, and told me I could pay the rest when I picked her up. I went to pick her up today and was told the rest of what I owed was comped and not to worry about what I had left to pay. I cried for a good minute in my car, because they didn’t even know I’m struggling on money right now. I’m so grateful for these wonderful people. They were so kind and had hearts. They definitely restored my faith in humanity today. Thank you guys so much.

I called Bluegrass today about my beloved Roark. These people are amazing. They were so kind and compassionate on the phone even though I was a mess and couldnt hardly talk They were so patient. I'm so impressed. A lot of people dont understand the loss of a fur baby. They dont understand the heartbreak. I feel like I've lost a kid . These people seem to understand. They make you feel at peace with what you are having to go thru. They have great options for you choose from to save a little piece of your pet. . Was very helpful and was glad it was local. Have had many pets cremated through vets office who send them off to as far off as Cincinnati. But this was much higher and there was no middle man so was a little shocked at the price. Still might use them again knowing where my pet is worth something and not having to wait two weeks for turn around. Will wait and see

So after losing my beloved companion and trusting his remains to this Crematorium, I go and pick up his ashes today and find that they have his date of cremation of his ashes listed as the day before he passed. Now I don't even know if these are actually his ashes or some random ashes from a community cremation that they also offer. With their carelessness and unconcern they have totally destroyed my peace of mind.

I got my dog's cremains today, we'd arranged thru our vet so I wasn't sure what I was getting for sure but got a beautiful paw print and the box with his ashes was far beyond what I expected. Thank you for making a hard time a little bit easier as I could not have handled burying him.

I don't have enough positive to say about the team. It is stressful enough to lose a loved pet. But to lose one while bringing a new human into the world is an extra level. BPC was incredibly thoughtful & kind and were able to help accommodate our situation to ensure Sadie was commemorated in most wonderful way possible. Brought my cat of 17 years in. Paw print was great, box was perfect, and the thing that meant the most to me was the glass vial of her fur. She was 3 colors, and I have 3 clumps of fur of her colors in the vial. I wasn't expecting it, and something small like that meant the world to me. Besides her personality, her fur was one of my favorite things about her. Highly recommend bringing your pet here.

This place is a blessing for Lexington. My mom has Alzheimer’s and her beloved cat, of 20+ years, Winston passed away. I was at a loss on what do do with Winston’s body. I called Bluegrass Pet Crematorium and the lovely folks were so kind and patient with my mom and me. They did not try to rush us or upsell us. They just let my mom and me sit in their lobby and cry. One of the staff members even cut a piece of Winston’s fur for us to have. I would give 10 stars if I could!!!

I really want to be happy with my experience but I am not. I did not receive what I ordered. I did not get one I'm sorry for your loss. Everything felt incredibly rushed and even when I voice my concern she said I'm so sorry that we've been busy. They did not let me know that they would cremate my dog's collar with her unless I asked. Since this is my first loss of a dog I did not know I needed to make that request. The lack of compassion was appalling. I know that this was just a job to her but this was my family member.

Excellent service, caring and compassionate staff (including therapy cats). The manager went the extra mile to ensure we memorialized our dog in a special way. They offer extra items such as necklaces and bracelets in addition to urns and decorative boxes. Skip the vet and call if you need to make final arrangements for your pets.

Thank you very much, Bluegrass pet crematorium Seem to really care and it was nice to have Cremation as a option for my Ferret Paris. Especially when I didn't have a good place to bury her that I knew would remain undisturbed and calling for city pet removal/pickup didn't feel right to me.

Had my beloved cat cremated there and when I got the ornament back with his paw prints, realized they weren’t his as he was declawed and this ornament had claws with the paw print. Very disappointed and disheartened.. that’s a cruel thing to do. Did they think I wouldn’t notice? Will never use this place again.

Had our sweet cat for 15 years before the cancer took him. This company did a wonderful job of caring for his remains and getting a clean print of his paw for us to keep. Would recommend to anyone looking for an alternative to burial for their pet. The only negative thing I have to say is that we called in and were put off to the next day twice after being told he would be ready to pick up HOWEVER, the staff was very nice and explained to us that they had several animals come in this week so I understand and just want other customers to be aware this may be possible. Thank you for taking good care of T-grr. ♡ His Family.
