I had to make the very hard decision to put my beloved pet rat, Sid, to sleep. Everyone at this vet clinic was so kind to me.. The vet herself was absolutely wonderful and tender with my little buddy and dealing with me bawling my eyes out. I also got him cremated and they did such an excellent job on everything... they got me his paw print, fur clipping, and nice secure little box with his ashes. I felt like my little rattie was handled with care and I can't express enough gratitude. Thank you to this vet clinic!

I brought my male dachshund in November 2024 after being seen by an emergency clinic from being ran over by a car. One of his back legs was fractured. Upon more evaluation, surgery was our best option. He had the surgery, the vet was pleased with the surgery and how it was healing and I was as well. But I could tell something wasn’t right with him. He kept declining more and more every day. They kept telling me that he had a lot of bruising, and I can completely understand that , but I believe he had a ruptured testicle and they missed it. I believe it was a small spot that was ruptured, but I believe it caused him to go septic and ultimately we put him down at the end because he was going to pass away either way. I did appreciate Dr. Hannah updating me on him every day a couple times a day. But now I have a nearly $4000 bill and no dog. I do think something should be refunded because I truly believe something was missed, that could have been taken care of earlier. I am truly not one to ever leave bad reviews, but I am upset with myself, and I am upset with the clinic because I feel like we let my boy down by missing something that could’ve saved his life. Here it is three months later and it doesn’t get any easier thinking about not having him around and still paying the bill down.

A very lovely office with wonderful customer service. They have helped us so much with our aging pets. Including a diagnosis of diabetes right before we left for a trip. They helped to track down a pharmacy that could properly fill our cat’s prescription as I was having a great deal of trouble. They also were genuinely sympathetic when we were faced with the very difficult decision to put our beloved dog of 14 years down. Dr. Lacey was incredibly kind, caring, and respectful during that process and it could not have gone any better. I highly recommend Snodgrass.

Outstanding Care for Ryder and Peace of Mind for UsWe recently brought our 6-year-old Pit Bull, Ryder, to Snodgrass Veterinary Medical Center after he had been very sick for four days. From start to finish, the care we received was absolutely top-notch.Rachel at the front desk was polite, courteous, and compassionate, making the scheduling process easy and stress-free. The veterinary technician (unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name) was knowledgeable, helpful, and handled Ryder with such great care—it truly put us at ease.Dr. Hannah Thomas is simply the best! She gave an accurate diagnosis, clearly explained Ryder's care plan, and ensured we had the necessary medications before we left. Her confidence and professionalism were reassuring, and her genuine care for Ryder was evident.It has now been 24 hours since Ryder came home, and the improvement is already incredible. We are so thankful for the wonderful team at Snodgrass Veterinary Medical Center. Dr. Moore did amazing with my dog bubbles. Bubbles is a very anxious dog and she was comfortable the entire time. She had a great bedside manner as well as her informative responses to all of our concerns. We will definitely be a patient of hers forever going forward. 🩵 Thank you!

Vet technician Robbi was extremely rude and slammed the door when I brought up the need for a little more transparency. No one explained to me how much each service cost before it was completed. All the services were done behind closed doors so I have no idea if the services were even done properly. The rest of the staff up front was very sweet and apologetic though. Unfortunately, I won’t be back and cannot recommend this clinic as it has predatory business ethics.

Took our outdoor cat, Maxine, in to the vet because she was eating away the fur off her back. It was determined that she had an infection. She was given shots and medications. She has been doing a lot better. I have 2 indoor cats and dog. Only place I take them to. They show how much they care for our fur babies.

Top notch care. They take the time to talk to you and explain everything. Unlike most medical professionals, they put the pet before the profit. As a professional breeder I care about the quality of service and I can honestly say I have 3 other vets closer to me, and drive past them to go see Hannah or Stan because they do appreciate me and care about my fur babies.Update: my own personal puppy was injured today, they took the time to fit her in their day. Dr. Hannah fit her in, fixed up her injury, and eased my mind about my fur baby. To me, they're not vet's, they are my furbabies doctors. Thank you Dr. Hannah and the rest of my babies caretakers! I don't appreciate being undermined and having a vet administer something such as pain meds when I was clearly against it. Also for future reference for other patients, an emergency "on call" is an additional $130... I will not be returning to Snodgrass.Also, why would you give a cat dope when they are acting lethargic in the first place?. Now she is sticking her head in the water bowl and doing nothing but getting wet, as well as falling around...I realize I don't have a medical degree but shame on your own personal arrogance of administering treatment i was vocally against. You had absolutely no right to dope up my cat, and that is now btw you and God.

We are in the process of cropping our 2 doberman puppies' ears. Snodgrass vet has been exceptional and caring. Their work is clean and affordable. The staff has given our puppies so much warm love and appreciation! Our family appreciates your kind work and we will continue to use you in the future! Having a friendly and welcoming staff does not absolve animal neglect. Boarded my two dogs, 1 female, 1 male, at this vet for 8 days. Called on day 4, Monday, and asked for an update on how they were doing. Was told by the kennel master they were doing very well, eating, taking the meds we had left, and getting along just as happy and healthy as could be. the kennel staff were kind enough to send a photo of the dogs our for their walk, which was very much appreciated. When we picked them up on day 8, we failed to receive their medication back with the rest of their supplies. We noticed this the following morning, when it was time to administer the meds to our male dog. After getting them home we noticed that one dog had bleeding in and behind her ear, and a cut on her eye. She also looked as though she had not eaten in days, with protruding ribs and spine. Our other dog also had a large swollen lump that felt like fluid that had formed under his jaw and on his neck. When we called to ask if there had been a fight, we were told they had no notes of anything happening. They also told us our female dog had been nervous and had been trying to get out of the metal gates on the kennel the entire time. This is very uncharacteristic of her, as when she's anxious she tends to shrink up small and hide. When going back the next day to retrieve the medication that we noticed was missing, the nice guy walking dogs for the weekend checked and explained that they had no notes for their stay. The only records on file were the boarding agreement intake, copies of previous vet records, and the canine flu vaccine our male had received in order to stay. So not only could the clinic not explain how all of these issues and injuries had occurred, they couldn't say exactly when over the course of 8 days they had happened either. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I'm not sure of another way to ensure people are aware of the lack of supervision that seems to be acceptable in the boarding kennel. Having not been a client to the veterinary practice, I can't say how their medical care is. I do find it odd that they made no note of a growing abscess that appeared and grew so quickly and noticeably over the course of a week.They did receive a bath at least once while in the facility, so that's something I guess.

I can’t speak highly enough about Snodgrass or Dr. Hannah and her team. When I called first thing in the morning stressed about my senior dog they gave us an appointment as a new patient 2 hours later.Dr. Hannah and team were extremely kind and compassionate and took excellent care of my boy, scheduling his surgery for the next morning to quickly resolve his dental issues at a reasonable price.Incredibly grateful and will be a patient for life with Snodgrass after this.Ryno and I thank you!

Our new dog Roxy just completed her visit with Dr, Lacy and her technician. We could not be more pleased with their concern, attention and care for our dog during the exam. They both took their time to explain what they were looking for and what the treatment options would be. The entire staff is caring and professional. As with previous visits we left confident that our Roxy received the best care possible. I highly recommend Snodgrass Veterinary Medical Center> Dr. Hannah has established an extraordinary practice!We had our first visit with Dr. Mara, who examined our new puppy Owen. I am so thankful for Dr. Hanna and her staff. This was the first time we had ever used this vet office. We had an appointment yesterday to check in on our precious dog. We did not get the diagnosis that we were wanting but I cannot express how grateful I am for them. They were very informative and sympathetic towards his situation and did everything they could to help. This will be our new vet home from now on. I will refer them to everyone I know that needs a new vet home.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am I found this vet. I have a cattle dog mix who was abused before I got her and has always been fearful of people. Our other vet gave up on her and almost made me feel like they didn’t want her back. I came to Snodgrass and Dr Hannah and the staff were amazing! They made sure Luna was comfortable even sitting on the floor with her. She was completely relaxed as her past vet visits she would have high blood pressure. In the last two years, I have been there for everything from emergency visit, to surgery, to just a tech appointment, and they have always demonstrated an exceptional level of care.

All the doctors and staff are great. Mabel was hospitalized and I appreciate that they kept me up to date without me even having to ask. I didn’t have to call in ONCE to get an update because of how well they kept me up to date either by call or text. Being a worry wart when it comes to my pets, I appreciate that more than you can imagine.

I had 2 older dogs, 14, and 15. And they both start having issues always at 3am. Dr. Hannah always said. I'll meet you there in 15 mins. At 3am! Those 2 babies since passed and she put them both to sleep for me. So very compassionate. I recently had 1.5 year old pitpuppy that fell over at home, I think he died before I made it to the vet. They still tried and worked on him.. Dr. Snodgrass and Dr. Mara are both amazing as well. Great team!

I've received only the most cordial care from all staff at Snodgrass. Their confidence in performing surgeries on exotic pets, and their patience for my perpetual abundance of questions are their most heartening qualities. They even provide after-hour emergency care & itemized bill estimates when requested. You can't get this level of expertise and love just anywhere, but you'll find it here each time. I adore this place.

Zero s naw of concern or urgency. Called twice with emergency situations. Disclosure: I’m new to the area and had no local vet. I was driving 45 minutes for routine visits.The first time I called, my shihtzu was actively having seizures. They said, “We can get you in next Wednesday.” No thanks.A year later, my cat was lost for 3.5 days. When we finally located her, she was lethargic, wouldn’t eat or drink and had a huge gash in her tongue. They again told me it would be two days minimum. No thanks.Thank goodness I found a wonderful, loving caring practice across town.I’d caution trusting this place if you ever have an emergency.

I was so impressed with the compassion and care they took both tiimes thar there wasnt even a second thought abiur who I would entrust with Finnis care. The staff is absolutely amazing.

My family and I have used Snodgrass for a few years. We have always had a positive experience until recently. I took my dog, Cade, to the vet on November 20th, 2023, because he had been dealing with a chronic cough. I was told there was nothing wrong with him, and it was allergies. In less than two months, my dog lost over 20 pounds and developed severe fluid in his stomach and lungs. I took him to a different vet on January, 19th, 2024, where I was told that he had end-stage congestive heart failure, and had over 6 1/2 liters drained. Those 6 1/2 liters were causing his cough, and he could not breathe. It breaks my heart that no one took the time to really examine him and see what was actually going on... all I got was "it's allergies, he's fine".I called Snodgrass today, January 22nd, 2024, asking if there was any way a doctor could stay past 5:00 PM when myself and my family got off work and would be able to be there to peacefully put him down. They said they would still charge the after-hours charge, even though they were open to 6:00 PM because all vets leave at 5:00 PM. Tonight, my dog died.All I wanted was someone to care, to show some empathy for my dog, for his pain. I received none of that and I am deeply disheartened by your all's business.

After another vet clinic in BG charged me $1000 and never figured out why my cat was coughing, i decided to take him to Snodgrass. They helped my cat the first visit. They were very professional and I could tell they actually wanted to figure out what was going on with my cat. He started to get better the next day, while the other clinic took 3 months and gave up. I will continue to bring my cat here in the future. Would highly recommend!

I do find it odd that they made no note of a growing abscess that appeared and grew so quickly and noticeably over the course of a week.They did receive a bath at least once while in the facility, so that's something I guess.

I can not say enough how thankful I am for this vet hospital and Dr Hannah, and the staff. My cat was spayed at the humane society and that night she wasn’t processing the anesthesia well and it scared us pretty badly dr Hannah came in and let us know everything was fine and comforted us so much, then a week later she started to develop some redness around her incision, snodgrass was closed on the weekends so I contacted the humane society, the infection got worse and long story short I had to take my baby to snodgrass to get opened back up and her awful infection cleaned out, the moment we walked in dr Hannah came in the room and remembered our Kitty baby, she reassured us she would be okay and everything would be fine, they didn’t even use anesthesia so she wouldn’t be loopy when we picked her up which I really appreciated, they gave her antibiotics and pain meds and made a nightmare situation for us so much better, they saved our Kitty baby and made some Kitty parents very happy, and the price was very reasonable!!! I’ve been telling everyone about it and how amazing they were!!

We just recently moved back to this area and needed to find a good clinic that is experienced with Brachiocephalic dogs. I am so so glad to have found this clinic. The doctor was very knowledgeable, and really took her time to make sure everything was covered that I had concerns about. The staff is so sweet and very loving to all the pets. We felt right at home for our first visit and we can def give them a five star. I will also add the cost was very reasonable. Stroman and Braun will be forever loyal furry customers!

Definitely the best vet I've ever taken my kittens to! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. They took good care of my cats and gave very clear and helpful follow up care instructions. It was an hour drive for me to get there, but it was definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

My husband and I really like Dr. Stan Snodgrass and his staff. The office is clean and organized and I’ve been impressed from the start. Dr. Stan and Casey are very friendly, easygoing, and knowledgeable. The other employees also working there are very kind (Jessica & Crystal) which makes the overall experiences very pleasant. We are very happy we found Dr. Stan. He is a good and honest vet. His prices are also very reasonable and he does not perform unnecessary procedures to get your money. They offer boarding as well. We will definitely go back for routine check-up for all our pets.I especially enjoy being greeted by Dennis (the office cat)! We had to have our 16 year old dog euthanized this week. Dr Hannah Thomas was so gentle and compassionate. Every employee we encountered that afternoon treated us so kindly. Dr. Thomas thoroughly explained every step of the process and allowed us to make our own informed decisions. Unfortunately, I have had to bring my dogs to the vet more times this year than ever. They work with you to make last minute and unforeseen appointments, as well as fitting you in for emergent needs. Our new dog Roxy just completed her visit with Dr, Lacy and her technician. We could not be more pleased with their concern, attention and care for our dog during the exam. There is not a better place to take your pets! Whether you get to see Dr. Stan, Dr. Hannah, or Dr. Mara, yours pets are in wonderfully capable hands. I am not exagerating when I say their services have saved the lives of both of our dogs on more than one occasion. They are compassionate and understanding, as well as knowledgeable. The staff are always friendly and courteous. I never feel rushed by Dr. Hannah when I take my two pups to see her. Recently my puppy ingested something she shouldn’t have, I panicked and called Snodgrass and left a message on the emergency voicemail line. Within ten minutes of my call, I had a call back from Dr. Hannah herself advising me what to do and giving me the reassurance I needed after hours. I couldn’t ask for more from this practice!

We had never been to Snodgrass until my dog fell extremely ill very suddenly. Our normal vet All Creatures told us to drop him off in the morning and pick him up later. They did not understand or seem to care that it was BAD, he was almost 15 years old, we knew this could be the last day we had with him I was not going to leave him. After calling around town to try to get him in somewhere Snodgrass had an opening. Even though we had never been there before they where so kind to us and compassionate. As we had feared our sweet dog was not well and had to make the decision euthanize him. The vet Dr. Hannah Thomas and tech gave us all the information, all our options, did not rush our decision, let us stay with him as long as we wanted. I can not express how caring and understanding they where. I am so glad we ended up here for such a terrible event. I would recommend Snodgrass to everyone!

Took my 3 old gals (Pugs) in for immunization updates and to check their ears as they had been scratching. It was a task to get them all there to be sure. Snodgrass staff was great! They came out to the car and got them one by one and treated them, then brought them back out to me. A staff member came to discuss everything that was done and the findings, as well as recommendations of future care needed and gave me a print out of what that would cost. They explained my bill. My pugs were not stressed terribly when they came back to the car, so I know they were gentle and kind with them. Thanks Snodgrass!!

When my Lucy needed surgery to remove a mass on her neck, they got her in very quickly and did a great job. They even cleaned her teeth and cut her nails. She recovered quickly and healed wonderfully! Very nice staff that fully understands my dogs are my babies and treats them as if they were their own. I would also recommend their boarding. Lucy did great there while we were on vacation.

Snodgrass is great! We've been using them ever since we moved out into Alvaton. Staff has always been friendly in our experience. They are good with communication, care, boarding, etc. Love using them for our dogs. Even with all the COVID issues they have remained professional and come out to get the pups when we show up. Emergency calls are answered promptly in my experience with the few we have had. Can't say enough good about the place. Thank you guys for everything!

I cannot express enough how grateful I am I found this vet. I have a cattle dog mix who was abused before I got her and has always been fearful of people. Our other vet gave up on her and almost made me feel like they didn’t want her back. I came to Snodgrass and Dr Hannah and the staff were amazing! They made sure Luna was comfortable even sitting on the floor with her. She was completely relaxed as her past vet visits she would have high blood pressure. I had 2 older dogs, 14, and 15. And they both start having issues always at 3am. Dr. Hannah always said. I'll meet you there in 15 mins. At 3am! Those 2 babies since passed and she put them both to sleep for me. So very compassionate. I recently had 1.5 year old pitpuppy that fell over at home, I think he died before I made it to the vet. They still tried and worked on him.. Dr. Snodgrass and Dr. Mara are both amazing as well. Great team!

Their confidence in performing surgeries on exotic pets, and their patience for my perpetual abundance of questions are their most heartening qualities. Zero s naw of concern or urgency. Called twice with emergency situations. Disclosure: I’m new to the area and had no local vet. I was driving 45 minutes for routine visits.The first time I called, my shihtzu was actively having seizures. They said, “We can get you in next Wednesday.” No thanks.A year later, my cat was lost for 3.5 days. When we finally located her, she was lethargic, wouldn’t eat or drink and had a huge gash in her tongue. They again told me it would be two days minimum. No thanks.Thank goodness I found a wonderful, loving caring practice across town.I’d caution trusting this place if you ever have an emergency.

My family and I have used Snodgrass for a few years. We have always had a positive experience until recently. I took my dog, Cade, to the vet on November 20th, 2023, because he had been dealing with a chronic cough. I was told there was nothing wrong with him, and it was allergies. In less than two months, my dog lost over 20 pounds and developed severe fluid in his stomach and lungs. I took him to a different vet on January, 19th, 2024, where I was told that he had end-stage congestive heart failure, and had over 6 1/2 liters drained. Those 6 1/2 liters were causing his cough, and he could not breathe. It breaks my heart that no one took the time to really examine him and see what was actually going on... all I got was "it's allergies, he's fine".I called Snodgrass today, January 22nd, 2024, asking if there was any way a doctor could stay past 5:00 PM when myself and my family got off work and would be able to be there to peacefully put him down. They said they would still charge the after-hours charge, even though they were open to 6:00 PM because all vets leave at 5:00 PM. Tonight, my dog died.All I wanted was someone to care, to show some empathy for my dog, for his pain. I received none of that and I am deeply disheartened by your all's business.

After another vet clinic in BG charged me $1000 and never figured out why my cat was coughing, i decided to take him to Snodgrass. They helped my cat the first visit. They were very professional and I could tell they actually wanted to figure out what was going on with my cat. He started to get better the next day, while the other clinic took 3 months and gave up. I will continue to bring my cat here in the future. Would highly recommend!

The vet hannah was absolutely amazing had to call after hours for our Siberian husky pup he was very sick she told us to bring him on in it was like 930p and she was so nice and understanding. I was a mess I was so worried she explained what was going to happen and kept him overnight for treatment and observation. She called a little after 8 this morning and told me he was good and i could come get him. So thankful for her i thanked her about 20 times a truly amazing lady

If I could give 0 stars I would!! Our visit was absolutely unprofessional today! I took in a litter of my puppies and first off the price was over double of what they told me it would be over the phone.. Then when telling the tech what I wanted done she said included in the price the puppies get a go home bag with heartworm and flea prevention in it. So I was like ok cool that's what our regular vet does as well. Well after hearing I'm a breeder they said their not giving them to me. But you can take my money just like any other person who brings their dog or puppy in there 🤔. After I left and noticed they didn't put it anywhere on their check up paper that they received their shot I turned around and went back to see if I could get something stating it. They couldn't provide me with anything except a reminder for their next shot date. I even asked for the sticker on the shot jars and they said they couldn't find the jars. I will NEVER take another dog there again!

Best Veterinary group in town. Everyone is always friendly and you can tell they are very passionate about their job. I have been taking my Doberman, Roux to Stan Snodgrass for the past six years. Recently I took her in due to a severe limp that started randomly one day with no explanation. The limp was so bad that Roux could hardly get up and even walk. This was our first time with the vet Mara Bynum. Of course Roux did not exhibit any limp while at the vet due to her excitement and adrenaline but Mara went over and beyond to try and figure out the culprit. Even after a thorough exam and x-rays, she was still unable to determine the cause. She decided to prescribe Roux a mix of medications to take over the next 2 weeks that she felt would help. Feeling discharged, Mara reassured me she would not stop until the problem was resolved even suggested sending x-rays to a specialist to look over if the problem did not subside. Mara followed up with me daily after our appointment to see how Roux was doing. Over the next 2 weeks Roux improved drastically and today her limp is gone. Mara treated Roux as if she was her own and I am so grateful for the team at Snodgrass Veterinary Medical Center.

Dr. S does a great job explaining everything to you and is very pragmatic. He handles my animals in a way that does not stress them out. They do a very efficient job at processing insurance claims. My dog was miss diagnosed, the vet said she had pneumonia and had a small heart murmur. I spent over $400 for treatment and meds. Also to have their office manager asked me to surrender my dog, that they could make her well. As if I was a bad owner, because she was sick. She was sick because her heart was so enlarged it was killing her. The new vet i took her to, said a first year med student would of know it was heart issues. Unfortunately my poor baby girls heart was to big to save her. I will never take my pets or livestock to them again. Dr Stan you are a great vet, sorry you sold the place.I refuse to pay the bill and now in collections. Dr Snodgrass is the only vet I'd recommend you go to there. The two women vets I'd stay away from. They charge way more than Snodgrass ever did and it's a shame he sold his practice.

Wish we would have found this place years ago! We used to take our animals to another facility in Bowling Green where we never left without spending a $100+ and would be there over an hour for every visit!Snodgrass gives you what your pet needs and gets you on your way. My dog received her rabies shot just this week. It cost me $28 and I was in and out in 10 minutes. We could've saved thousands of dollars if we discovered Snodgrass Veterinary Clinic years ago!

Update: the wait times are becoming way too long for very simple procedures - for the last 3 years I have had to wait 20-30minuter (in the room) after my appointment time just for the intranasal and rabies boosters. My dog is petrified of the vet so the longer we are here the more stressed out he gets. If I knew why they have me taking up a room for 30 minutes I may be able to tolerate it, but now it has me considering finding a new vet.Sometimes the wait times are excessive which can be stressful if you’re on a schedule, but the staff and vets are fantastic

I have been bringing my dogs and cats to Stan for many years. He is the best. We have called him on several occasions for a home visit and he's always come through. Rates are reasonable and he does not demand unnecessary costly diagnostic tests. We have 7 teacup chihuahua's and 5 kitty's. Dr Snodgrass is a good man and the best bet I've ever seen. He has performed c-sections 3 separate times on 3 of our little ones. Each time was in the middle of the night, we even assisted. He truly cares about your pets and he is very fair when it comes to pricing and payments. I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr Hannah Thomas and her wonderful staff for their compassion and care for my pup, Winnipeg. We had traveled to Bowling Green from Tampa the previous day in our RV with our 10 year old pup, Winnipeg. During our trip, Winnipeg developed severe anxiety. I have been very pleased with our time with Dr. Snodgrass and the vets he has on staff. We rarely wait past our appointment time and are often called back early. The doctors treat our dog with respect and give us time to ask questions and understand the answers. I don't feel rushed there or as if I'm hassling them. They seem to care for our pet as we would. I had to leave my Pepper to go out of town. I left him at Snodgrass Veterinary Clinic for two days. They took very good care of my boy and even gave him a bath. The facility was neat and clean; the staff was amazing, and their pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely go back in the future.

I have been using Snodgrass Vererinary Medical since 1991. I am a breeder with several dogs on-site. My dogs are all very active working companions and from ear infections to pregnancies to major surgeries I see a lot. When it comes to a veterinarian I have trust that my dogs are cared for by a veterinarian that is knowledgeable, competent, compassionate and fare on there cost. There is not a better place to take your pets! Whether you get to see Dr. Stan, Dr. Hannah, or Dr. Mara, yours pets are in wonderfully capable hands. I am not exagerating when I say their services have saved the lives of both of our dogs on more than one occasion. They are compassionate and understanding, as well as knowledgeable. The Vet techs and staff also do an awesome job, even with giant dogs who HATE baths and for their nails to be clipped!

The staff are always friendly and courteous. I never feel rushed by Dr. Hannah when I take my two pups to see her. Recently my puppy ingested something she shouldn’t have, I panicked and called Snodgrass and left a message on the emergency voicemail line. Within ten minutes of my call, I had a call back from Dr. Hannah herself advising me what to do and giving me the reassurance I needed after hours. I couldn’t ask for more from this practice!

We had never been to Snodgrass until my dog fell extremely ill very suddenly. Our normal vet All Creatures told us to drop him off in the morning and pick him up later. They did not understand or seem to care that it was BAD, he was almost 15 years old, we knew this could be the last day we had with him I was not going to leave him. After calling around town to try to get him in somewhere Snodgrass had an opening. Even though we had never been there before they where so kind to us and compassionate. As we had feared our sweet dog was not well and had to make the decision euthanize him. The vet Dr. Hannah Thomas and tech gave us all the information, all our options, did not rush our decision, let us stay with him as long as we wanted. I can not express how caring and understanding they where. I am so glad we ended up here for such a terrible event. I would recommend Snodgrass to everyone!

Took my 3 old gals (Pugs) in for immunization updates and to check their ears as they had been scratching. It was a task to get them all there to be sure. Snodgrass staff was great! They came out to the car and got them one by one and treated them, then brought them back out to me. A staff member came to discuss everything that was done and the findings, as well as recommendations of future care needed and gave me a print out of what that would cost. They explained my bill. My pugs were not stressed terribly when they came back to the car, so I know they were gentle and kind with them. Thanks Snodgrass!!

When my Lucy needed surgery to remove a mass on her neck, they got her in very quickly and did a great job. They even cleaned her teeth and cut her nails. She recovered quickly and healed wonderfully! Very nice staff that fully understands my dogs are my babies and treats them as if they were their own. I would also recommend their boarding. Lucy did great there while we were on vacation.

Snodgrass is great! We've been using them ever since we moved out into Alvaton. Staff has always been friendly in our experience. They are good with communication, care, boarding, etc. Love using them for our dogs. Even with all the COVID issues they have remained professional and come out to get the pups when we show up. I have taken my puppy there for about a year now and it’s time for a change. On multiple occasions I have brought the puppy in for shots and the doctor’s, both, have told me that the puppy needs a flu shot. The first time I was absolutely but then came back for the booster and they hadn’t recorded the original shot. When I said she has already had her first flu shot Dr. Snodgrass condescendingly said that if she has already had the shot there would be a sticker in her chart and there wasn’t a sticker in her chart… I begrudgingly said fine and we had another flu shot along with the original shots that I came in to get. What finally got me was when I went to pick up my puppy from getting fixed they had given her multiple shots as well as another flu shot. There was never any instruction from me to give the puppy shots nor did they inform me that they would be giving her shots. The Vets are far too dismissive when there are real problems come up and I recommend finding another vet in town.

Dr. Snodgrass and his staff have been extremely courteous and helpful. I appreciate his caring, no-nonsense approach to the care of our dog, Shadow. When other vets in town were telling us Shadow would need a $500+ surgery that would permanently modified his eyelids, Dr. Snodgrass was able to fix the problem with 1 round of antibiotics.He truly has a gift with the animals he cares for. With other vets, our dog acts defensive, but is calmer in his approach to Dr. Snodgrass.We also love the convenience of having a groomer at the vet. Sarah does a terrific job with our Cocker Spaniel, and he always comes home looking and smelling great.

The vet hannah was absolutely amazing had to call after hours for our Siberian husky pup he was very sick she told us to bring him on in it was like 930p and she was so nice and understanding. I was a mess I was so worried she explained what was going to happen and kept him overnight for treatment and observation. She called a little after 8 this morning and told me he was good and i could come get him. So thankful for her i thanked her about 20 times a truly amazing lady

If I could give 0 stars I would!! Our visit was absolutely unprofessional today! I took in a litter of my puppies and first off the price was over double of what they told me it would be over the phone.. Then when telling the tech what I wanted done she said included in the price the puppies get a go home bag with heartworm and flea prevention in it. So I was like ok cool that's what our regular vet does as well. Well after hearing I'm a breeder they said their not giving them to me. But you can take my money just like any other person who brings their dog or puppy in there 🤔. After I left and noticed they didn't put it anywhere on their check up paper that they received their shot I turned around and went back to see if I could get something stating it. They couldn't provide me with anything except a reminder for their next shot date. I even asked for the sticker on the shot jars and they said they couldn't find the jars. I will NEVER take another dog there again!

Best Veterinary group in town. Everyone is always friendly and you can tell they are very passionate about their job. I have been taking my Doberman, Roux to Stan Snodgrass for the past six years. Recently I took her in due to a severe limp that started randomly one day with no explanation. The limp was so bad that Roux could hardly get up and even walk. This was our first time with the vet Mara Bynum. Of course Roux did not exhibit any limp while at the vet due to her excitement and adrenaline but Mara went over and beyond to try and figure out the culprit. Even after a thorough exam and x-rays, she was still unable to determine the cause. She decided to prescribe Roux a mix of medications to take over the next 2 weeks that she felt would help. Feeling discharged, Mara reassured me she would not stop until the problem was resolved even suggested sending x-rays to a specialist to look over if the problem did not subside. Mara followed up with me daily after our appointment to see how Roux was doing. Over the next 2 weeks Roux improved drastically and today her limp is gone. Mara treated Roux as if she was her own and I am so grateful for the team at Snodgrass Veterinary Medical Center.

Dr. S does a great job explaining everything to you and is very pragmatic. He handles my animals in a way that does not stress them out. They do a very efficient job at processing insurance claims. My dog was miss diagnosed, the vet said she had pneumonia and had a small heart murmur. I spent over $400 for treatment and meds. Also to have their office manager asked me to surrender my dog, that they could make her well. As if I was a bad owner, because she was sick. She was sick because her heart was so enlarged it was killing her. The new vet i took her to, said a first year med student would of know it was heart issues. Unfortunately my poor baby girls heart was to big to save her. I will never take my pets or livestock to them again. Dr Stan you are a great vet, sorry you sold the place.I refuse to pay the bill and now in collections. Dr Snodgrass is the only vet I'd recommend you go to there. The two women vets I'd stay away from. They charge way more than Snodgrass ever did and it's a shame he sold his practice.

Wish we would have found this place years ago! We used to take our animals to another facility in Bowling Green where we never left without spending a $100+ and would be there over an hour for every visit!Snodgrass gives you what your pet needs and gets you on your way. My dog received her rabies shot just this week. It cost me $28 and I was in and out in 10 minutes. We could've saved thousands of dollars if we discovered Snodgrass Veterinary Clinic years ago!

Update: the wait times are becoming way too long for very simple procedures - for the last 3 years I have had to wait 20-30minuter (in the room) after my appointment time just for the intranasal and rabies boosters. My dog is petrified of the vet so the longer we are here the more stressed out he gets. If I knew why they have me taking up a room for 30 minutes I may be able to tolerate it, but now it has me considering finding a new vet.Sometimes the wait times are excessive which can be stressful if you’re on a schedule, but the staff and vets are fantastic

I have been bringing my dogs and cats to Stan for many years. He is the best. We have called him on several occasions for a home visit and he's always come through. Rates are reasonable and he does not demand unnecessary costly diagnostic tests. Often he has used his extensive knowledge to identify a potential diagnosis and treatment needed with great success over the years. We appreciate this, particularly with several dogs and cats.

I will try to not make this review too long. My dog was having serious breathing problems that got worse over the course of a few hours. Eventually to the point his tongue was dark purple, couldn't walk, lost all urine and bowel on himself and had to have his mouth held open and tongue kept from going in his throat. After getting Benadryl and calling every vet in BG, I finally found someone who would take payments because we don't have the money for a huge vet bill right now. This had taken so long that we somehow got him breathing better but still not 100%. When we arrived we waited probably 30 min to see the doctor (so it's good that it wasn't life threatening at this point) After telling him the situation, he pretty much said breathing problems happen to bulldogs, keep him out of stressful situations and to come back when we have a real emergency. We were given 6 tablets of a medication that MAY prevent it from happening if given 15 min before stress. I realize that my dog was doing much much better once he was seen, however the doctor did not lay one finger on my dog to look at his status. No evaluation. No tests. Nothing. Even when a dog is feeling better, if an owner calls you crying because you've pretty much had to bring him back to life...you would think there would be an evaluation. Look at his gums, mucous membranes, airway, listen to the lungs, see if it was an allergic reaction, asthma, an object caught in his throat, SOMETHING to at least try to find the cause. Not just chalk it up to the breed and try to blame it on the owner. It seems like many people like this vet by looking at the reviews, but I was disappointed to say the least and felt patronized. The only good thing I can say about this vet is that are giving me 30 days to pay my small bill...because nothing was actually done while we were there.

We have 7 teacup chihuahua's and 5 kitty's. Dr Snodgrass is a good man and the best bet I've ever seen. He has performed c-sections 3 separate times on 3 of our little ones. Each time was in the middle of the night, we even assisted. He truly cares about your pets and he is very fair when it comes to pricing and payments. Dr Snodgrass looked at my cat. Nobody asked his age, his medical history, was he up to date on shots, did not do any exam look in his ears listen to his heart take a temp. He looked at his eyes and asked how long they have been draining. I had to rush to tell him he has been sneezing snot out of his nose and acting like he has a sinus infection or allergies. He brought me back some meds gave him a shot and I again mentioned he sometimes felt hot like maybe he had a fever and the dr said oh I’m sure. He did ask if he was eating and drinking ok. That was the extent of my cats care.

Found this vet from a local fb group and so glad I took my dog here. The staff is really nice, the building is very clean, affordable, and the doctor is very good. Will bring my dog back again.

I have taken my puppy there for about a year now and it’s time for a change. On multiple occasions I have brought the puppy in for shots and the doctor’s, both, have told me that the puppy needs a flu shot. The first time I was absolutely but then came back for the booster and they hadn’t recorded the original shot. When I said she has already had her first flu shot Dr. Snodgrass condescendingly said that if she has already had the shot there would be a sticker in her chart and there wasn’t a sticker in her chart… I begrudgingly said fine and we had another flu shot along with the original shots that I came in to get. What finally got me was when I went to pick up my puppy from getting fixed they had given her multiple shots as well as another flu shot. There was never any instruction from me to give the puppy shots nor did they inform me that they would be giving her shots. The Vets are far too dismissive when there are real problems come up and I recommend finding another vet in town.

Dr. Snodgrass and his staff have been extremely courteous and helpful. I appreciate his caring, no-nonsense approach to the care of our dog, Shadow. When other vets in town were telling us Shadow would need a $500+ surgery that would permanently modified his eyelids, Dr. Snodgrass was able to fix the problem with 1 round of antibiotics.He truly has a gift with the animals he cares for. With other vets, our dog acts defensive, but is calmer in his approach to Dr. Snodgrass.We also love the convenience of having a groomer at the vet. Sarah does a terrific job with our Cocker Spaniel, and he always comes home looking and smelling great.

I love Snodgrass Veterinary clinic. We have confidence in how they care for our 2 cats and 1 dog. We have also boarded our animals there many times knowing they will be well cared for. They also have competitive prices on frontline etc.

The staff at Dr. Snodgrass' are friendly and helpful. My little 3lb Pomarian loves to go there. Dr. Snodgrass has given her all her shots and she still runs toward the door when we visit the Office. I contribute her success to the demor of the Doctor and staff. I would not fill comfortable bring her to a place that she was not happy with.

Won’t go anywhere else. We are transplants to the area and had emergency vet needs week one of our move. This is a busy vet office, so be prepared for that, but Dr Snodgrass is an angel from heaven and took extra great care of our dogs.

You can tell that Dr. Snodgrass has a passion for caring for animals, and he is very easy to talk to and ask questions. I will try to not make this review too long. My dog was having serious breathing problems that got worse over the course of a few hours. Eventually to the point his tongue was dark purple, couldn't walk, lost all urine and bowel on himself and had to have his mouth held open and tongue kept from going in his throat. After getting Benadryl and calling every vet in BG, I finally found someone who would take payments because we don't have the money for a huge vet bill right now. This had taken so long that we somehow got him breathing better but still not 100%. When we arrived we waited probably 30 min to see the doctor (so it's good that it wasn't life threatening at this point) After telling him the situation, he pretty much said breathing problems happen to bulldogs, keep him out of stressful situations and to come back when we have a real emergency. We were given 6 tablets of a medication that MAY prevent it from happening if given 15 min before stress. I realize that my dog was doing much much better once he was seen, however the doctor did not lay one finger on my dog to look at his status. No evaluation. No tests. Nothing. Even when a dog is feeling better, if an owner calls you crying because you've pretty much had to bring him back to life...you would think there would be an evaluation. Look at his gums, mucous membranes, airway, listen to the lungs, see if it was an allergic reaction, asthma, an object caught in his throat, SOMETHING to at least try to find the cause. Not just chalk it up to the breed and try to blame it on the owner. It seems like many people like this vet by looking at the reviews, but I was disappointed to say the least and felt patronized. The only good thing I can say about this vet is that are giving me 30 days to pay my small bill...because nothing was actually done while we were there.

Absolutely the rudest and most judgmental vet in town. Everyone was so snobby that I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was there. When I called about the visit before hand the price was actually almost double of what they told me over the phon. Would never recommend going to them that’s for sure!

I will never take my pets anywhere else but here. They were execllent dealing with my girl dog that was in labor and when all the puppies but one passed away they were all there to help me cope with the loss .I could not ask for a better vet service team. Thanks for everything. Sue hix and family

No communication, they vaccinated my cat when they were not due, they were supposed to evaluate my cat for her anxiety, but instead just gave her a steroid shot. Not what I brought her in for! Last time I bring her to this vet.

Snodgrass did an emergency surgery on my dog and they did a great job! They even have an after hours phone number to call for emergencies in case something goes wrong after surgery. I highly recommend them!

Dr Snodgrass looked at my cat. Nobody asked his age, his medical history, was he up to date on shots, did not do any exam look in his ears listen to his heart take a temp. He looked at his eyes and asked how long they have been draining. I had to rush to tell him he has been sneezing snot out of his nose and acting like he has a sinus infection or allergies. He brought me back some meds gave him a shot and I again mentioned he sometimes felt hot like maybe he had a fever and the dr said oh I’m sure. He did ask if he was eating and drinking ok. That was the extent of my cats care.
