The animal doctor in Junction city Kansas Is highly recommended for your veterinarian and grooming needs. The staff is friendly and the service exemplifies what Customer Service should be. The facilities are so clean well organized, and I have my dogs scheduled for the next year to be groomed at the animal doctor. I can’t praise them enough.

We recently made the switch from another veterinarian in town and I’m so glad we did! Booking with the front desk was easy and the receptionist was kind and helpful with all of my questions. As we arrived, we were warmly greeted and then taken to the room with our vet tech Kylee (who was phenomenal our entire appointment). Dr. K shortly came in after and they were both patient, kind and gentle with my boy who is fairly anxious. They answered all of my questions and made sure that I had no concerns before leaving. Thank you Animal Doctor staff!

I had an emergency and they got me in within 30 minutes. They were very sweet, caring and understanding. By the time we left my dog was already doing a little better and even though it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience for my dog she was loving all the love she got from the staff.

Today I had a really great experience with Dr. K. This is my first time with this specific doctor and he was absolutely wonderful!!! He made me feel great about my visit, was super sweet and kind and treated my pup like his own! Wow! I really liked him. I can tell you that this was a great visit and the place was super clean, the atmosphere was definitely pet friendly and the staff was really overall amazing. I've been coming here for years but meeting a new doctor today was awesome.

This was my first visit to Animal Doctor in Junction City. When we got there everyone was welcoming, calm, and kind. They took me and my cat to the "cats only" treatment room. I love dogs as well as cats but this cats only room is a great idea. My cat laid on the exam table looking out the window as we waited to be seen.2 things about this1) It was very calming to my cat to be escorted right to the treatment room rather than sitting in a waiting room with lots of other animals and their people in all kinds of emotional states depending on the nature of their visits.2) My cat liked the cats only space (and they said they had some "calm cat" pheromones in the air) very chilled out for her whole exam.Dr. Deam and the technician Sam were very helpful answering all my questions carefully and thoroughly. We'll be back for our next check up!

Very friendly staff! They communicate very well and keep you informed on upcoming test/vaccinations that need to be completed so you can have them done during your visit instead of forgetting and coming back a week later. Prices are reasonable and I’ve had no issues with anything. You are seen in a timely manner and they keep you up to date if tests are taking longer/vet is with another patient whatever the inconvenience may be you are always informed. 100% recommend this place and my friends who come here have nothing negative to say either

I have been to many vets and Animal Doctor has by far been the best. It began with getting an appointment. They were very accommodating to my last minute needs. At the appointment everyone was friendly and made me and my dog feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend them.

I swear, I am in no way affiliated with Animal Doctor except as a new doggie patient for my three small dogs. They are extremely happy because they are now healthier and I am ecstatic because the prices are extremely reasonable and I know we found an animal clinic that will also take care of their immediate health needs. Great staff and awesome doctors, thank you again! You have customers and patient(s) for life!

The doctors and staff are amazing. They take alot of time with the animals. When explaining the diagnosis, they go into great detail to where you understand.They get you in on or before your appointment time. Their prices are very reasonable and they're so nice.I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.

Trucker Friendly...We were having a hard time finding a vet that would see us because we are truckers and can only make it in on certain days of the month. I was kind of having a melt down about it all because I thought my dog was in pain. Turns out she's just itchy. But it was a real worry for me.This place listened to me and understood my concerns and frustrations. They made a spot for me at the time that I would be rolling in. My dog is both blind and deaf from birth and they were amazing with her. Most people don't understand how to handle blind/deaf dogs. Even some vets don't understand. But these people knew exactly what they were doing with her. They were absolutely loving with her.We had such a great experience here and we feel so much more comfortable now that we feel like we found a vet that we can trust with our Daisy. And people that can handle our corky selves as well. Grateful this place is so close to home.

The Animal Doctor has been caring for my dog for 14 years now, they became our second family! I wouldn’t trust any other vet around town. I know my dog will always be in good hands with them. We came here for grooming services while working in Kansas over an eight month period. And the dogs couldn’t have been happier! I loved that They got groomed on a monthly basis and they loved everything about their experience. Thank you so much for letting us come here while we were working in Kansas. Definitely deserve more than five stars, I know you treated my dogs like they were your own while in your care and cleaned them up nicely after our months in the field. Highly recommend.

Stay away! I had been going here for years. They used to be really good. They're absolute trash now. The vet didn't even bother to show up for my dogs' appointments, one of which was having his first visit as a senior dog. The vet let two incompetent vet techs conduct my appointments. They hurt both of my dogs. One giving a vaccine and the other during a blood draw. It's been 3 months and my dog has a permanent limp for whatever they did to him trying to do a simple blood draw. They have done the one thing they swore to never do - brought harm to an animal. DO NOT GO TO THIS VET CLINIC, OR ANY OF THEIR OTHER CLINICS!

They not only go above and beyond but also treat my animals with respect and give the best customer service I have received at a vet. When I had to put one of my fur babies down i personally felt like I was around family because that’s what that clinic shows a home type vibe. So thankful to find a wonderful vet clinic for our 17 year old cat. Clean facility, wonderful helpful staff who understood how to take care of our old buddy who was with me through my cancer surgery and treatment never leaving my side except to eat and potty. He is such an important part of our family. He deserves the best doctor and we have found that at this clinic.

Took my boys in for their annual check up. I checked out the other vet offices in town and they just were not the same as the vet I had when I lived in North Carolina. When I got to the animal doctor both of my boys were treated. Super nice all the way from the front desk throughout the entire vet appointment they were loved. I have found my veterinarian. This is definitely the place that treats your pets like family. 🙂

I have a HUGE cat who can be quite a handful at veterinary visits, but when I took him to the Animal Doctor when I moved over to Manhattan he was very uncharacteristically calm at the visit, and has been at every visit since. He apparently likes the staff and docs and will behave nicely for them, and they use pheromones in the air to augment that effect, as well, which is a very good idea. As my cat gets older I'm so happy that I've found a vet that my cat is happy with and I'm happy with for the 'beyond the usual' care for my cat as he gets older. they are quick to suggest things that might be useful for my cat's health, which I also appreciate very much.

Animal Doctor 511 Carolina Ave, Junction City KSHonestly, this place gives incredible service. They were wonderful with my dog Savannah during her 17 years of life. WE have, since her passing 6 months ago, adopted another dog Bella. She had not been treated well, when we adopted her as a dumped dog. As a result, she has many medical needs. I appreciate the priority to not rush her care so that she is comfortable when we come for a visit. We are made to feel like family there, and I know that Bella looks forward to going when we get in our vehicle and head that direction.

I've used Animal Doctor for about a year now and I have never had a bad experience. My puppy had several health concerns over her first year and all of the staff took so much time and care to figure out what was wrong and make her comfortable. I will always recommend them to anyone who is looking for a vet.

Today was my first visit with Dr. K and the staff at Animal Doctor. They were phenomenal. I have a large dog who tends to get fearful and anxious at the vet and they made him feel so much more comfortable than I have ever seen.I love the Fear Free practice standard and going in knowing that made me feel even better.They were phenomenal with my boy and we will be going back if/when he needs. I’ve only ever experienced one other vet (in all the states I’ve been) who treated animals as well as they did and she has retired.10/10. Thank you guys so much for the good experience!

I wish I had come to you guys sooner!! After some horrible experiences with other facilities locally I caved and scheduled my sweet Ollie boys annual exam/vacs. I had heard care here was a bit pricey, but after spending $4k at K State I wasn’t deterred considering all the high praise reviews I’d read. Once I was back in the exam room I felt heard as a pet owner! Which had not been our experience since moving to JC. The vet tech was so kind and sweet going above and beyond in my opinion listening and making notes while also sharing treats with my boy to earn his trust. He is now vet traumatized after his experience at K State. Dr. Hoffman herself was amazing. I could tell by the moment she walked in how much she cares for animals; loving on my sweet boy, thoroughly examining him, listening to me and providing amazing feedback and advice. I have already scheduled his chiropractor appt at Blue Hills! I will be bringing my other boxer here due to the amazing care we received. As long as I live in JC I will bring my boys here! I promise they are worth it!

10/10 Would recommend! All three of our dogs have been seen in the last year, including one that had to have a mastectomy of the entire left chain. They always make my anxious dogs feel comfortable and take their time with them. The office staff and doctors are absolutely wonderful, extremely easy to talk to, empathetic, responsive, and are very helpful. I can usually get an appointment either that day or within a couple days and the pricing is more than reasonable. We are so appreciative of everyone that works there and will be continuing using their services in the future.

High quality veterinarian care and compassion for your petIs a bunch of bologna. I made an appointment for this Saturday because my baby girl has a rash on the inside of her thighs. I get a call telling me they have to reschedule I only can have a Saturday appointment because that's when my helper is available to help me with my dog because I'm disabled the person said the 19th is available I said too far out she said take her somewhere else some compassion you treat my neighbor like a queen and y'all treat me and my dog like peace and dirt you messaged me about my dog's annual Wellness visit and are three vaccinations and then tell me to take my dog elsewhere I will not change this review one star

I had to put my Makita down last week and they were amazing with me when they told me. They gave me meds to make her comfortable and told me to take her home and spend some time with her. They were so patient when the time to bring back in to go over the rainbow bridge. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. Thank you for helping.

They couldn't cut my dogs toenails. Wanted to sedate her. Last time they cut them all jagged and cut her in the kwik. Guess she remembered. Because she nipped at them. She had a muzzle on. They wanted to sedate her then if that didnt work knock her out for more money. They finally gave her a decent bath. I will give them that but the last two times i paid for it but i could tell it wasn't a good bath. I'm looking for someone that can cut her nails they are long and need it bad. I see no reason to go where they have quit caring about my dog after almost ten years. it could be change of staff not sure.Update. They finally had a couple good people that held her talked to her and didn't stress her out. I wish I had got their names. The girl brought her paw backwards and cut it she did an amazing job. She got down on the floor. Plus my daughter went with me and held her face.

Great place. My cat was spayed here. Prices are affordable. Service was great. Staff is friendly. They will ask if you want extra services such as bloodwork and IV fluids during surgery. It's up to you and not mandatory in young cats. I'll definitely go back.EDIT: I went for a second time today to have my cat vaccinated. I had a great experience. Very professional veterinarians. Highly recommended.

I love this place, definitely picked the right place for my my Odie. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly they create a environment that makes the animal and the owner calm. I fully trust them with the care of my Odie the team here should be proud of the quality care they are able to provide for people and they are pretty affordable and appointments are so easy to book. Emergencies to easy they always manage to make a way and I've been ever so grateful for the hospitality and knowledge they have given me to better take care of my dog.

This was the first visit for my cat to the Animal Doctor. She had a lump on her leg that I wanted the vet to check out. The vet staff was good at getting my cat into the exam room without having to wait in the lobby or hear other animals barking and meowing and they tried to make her comfortable with a blanket and hormone spray when she was on the exam table. I didn't have to wait long for the vet, and she answered all my questions thoroughly during the exam. I would recommend this vet to others, especially if you have pets who are wary of vet visits like mine is.

Ive been going to Animal Doctor for the last 10 years, they have gotten our family through all the happy visits and the sad ones. Always with so much care and concern for our fur babies and us. Ive had several pups that just didn't want any part of the visit the ladies actually came out did the entire visit in our car. Always feel that they keep the animals needs in mind and help us feel okay for having a difficult pet. By far the best vet I have ever been to! The staff get so happy to see your pets and the prices are unmatched, especially for the high quality of care you receive. One of my dogs is very dog reactive and it has never been a problem here because I have never waited in the waiting room so the opportunity has never arisen for my dog to get worked up by another dog. The staff work wonders with nervy dogs and calm dogs alike and they take time to address every one of my concerns that other vets would ignore! My dog was crying after getting spayed and they even went and cuddled her until I picked her up. I have never had a negative experience here!

I can’t begin to say just how wonderful these ladies were to my sweet boy Vito. I took him in due to him not eating for several days. The doctor made my boy feel better and was honest with me that she wasn’t sure if this issue was fixed long term (which I greatly appreciated). Turned out my sweet boy had a much more serious issue than initially thought and they took care of my boy and respected my wishes to end his suffering. They listened to what I had to say and truly cared about my boy and understood he had some anxiety issues with new people but never judged him. I recommend this office for anyone who wants great and honest care for their pets. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.

Absolutely amazing staff and clinic! I am never disappointed with the level of professionalism, and courtesy the staff extends to me as a pet owner, and the level of care and genuine patience my two dogs receive! Meghan (spelling?) the Vet Technician is PHENOMENAL! She is really fantastic at calming my dog down and making him feel comfortable and manageable. Not to mention she is so friendly and personable! It’s a refreshing quality to see these days. I appreciate all that these wonderful Veterinarians and Vet Technicians do and I WILL continue to take my dogs here for care!5 *****stars!!!! This is the best by far Vet Clinic that I have ever taken my dog to! My pet had the most joyous 😊 and fun time there, and all of the ladies were so sweet and spectacular with Meeko! On our 1st visit there, Meeko and I felt comfortable and right at home and I decided right then and there that I was going to choose the Animal Doctor Clinic for all of my pet's needs. What a wonderful, fun, and lovely atmosphere to be and to take your pets! Great staff of ladies!

Dr Arneson and her staff are wonderful. They know our pups and take such good care of them. The staff has made accommodations for us to pick up our pups in special circumstances which means the world to us. They keep us updated on their medical needs and even sent a pic to us while we are away on vacation. There is no other veterinarian and staff that I would trust to care for our pups.

We are very pleased with the care our Pups, Skye and Tucker, receive at Animal Doctor. The front office staff is friendly and get us in as needed and promptly if any issues arise. Dr. Arneson and the other vets and vet techs are very patient, knowledgable and answer all our questions, but most importantly take great care of our puppies!

I called to get a quote on a spayed for my cat and I wasn’t even done with the questions and she hung up on me. Seems like rude staff. Definitely wouldn’t trust my cat with them.

We have been taking our family pup, Penny, to The Animal Doctor for the past three years and have always had a fantastic experience. The receptionists are always courteous and help me make an appointment that best fits my schedule. When we arrive, we are always greeted with a smile. Each tech that helps us get checked-in inside the room has always been very attentive to my comments/questions while also focused on Penny. I especially love the fact that they are gentle as they work with Penny and speak sweetly to her. They are patient as they explain their recommendations for her care. Unlike some other clinics that I've ben to, their costs are extremely reasonable and they have never suggested any outlandish care or tests. Their groomer is also priced well and does a great job. Bonus: you can ask them to vaccinate while they're being groomed! If you're looking for a place that both you and your pup can agree on then this is the place!

The staff at Animal Doctor Westside have been absolutely wonderful to my adopted heeler mix, Banjo, for the past three years. Banjo LOVES to go to the vet because he's treated like a little king and showered with love and attention and treats during his physical exams and vaccinations. I didn't know it was possible to entirely distract a dog from the discomfort of a rectal thermometer, but these folks are brilliant at quick and painless procedures with plenty of yummy distractions and affection. They've helped us address his separation anxiety and find solutions for his sensitive skin. I can't recommend this team enough because they'll remember your pet by name and treat them like members of their own family.

Animal Doctor 511 Carolina Ave, Junction City KSHonestly, this place gives incredible service. They were wonderful with my dog Savannah during her 17 years of life. WE have, since her passing 6 months ago, adopted another dog Bella. She had not been treated well, when we adopted her as a dumped dog. As a result, she has many medical needs. I appreciate the priority to not rush her care so that she is comfortable when we come for a visit. We are made to feel like family there, and I know that Bella looks forward to going when we get in our vehicle and head that direction.

I've used Animal Doctor for about a year now and I have never had a bad experience. My puppy had several health concerns over her first year and all of the staff took so much time and care to figure out what was wrong and make her comfortable. Today was my first visit with Dr. K and the staff at Animal Doctor. They were phenomenal. I have a large dog who tends to get fearful and anxious at the vet and they made him feel so much more comfortable than I have ever seen.I love the Fear Free practice standard and going in knowing that made me feel even better.They were phenomenal with my boy and we will be going back if/when he needs. I wish I had come to you guys sooner!! After some horrible experiences with other facilities locally I caved and scheduled my sweet Ollie boys annual exam/vacs. I had heard care here was a bit pricey, but after spending $4k at K State I wasn’t deterred considering all the high praise reviews I’d read. Once I was back in the exam room I felt heard as a pet owner! Which had not been our experience since moving to JC. The vet tech was so kind and sweet going above and beyond in my opinion listening and making notes while also sharing treats with my boy to earn his trust. He is now vet traumatized after his experience at K State. Dr. Hoffman herself was amazing. I could tell by the moment she walked in how much she cares for animals; loving on my sweet boy, thoroughly examining him, listening to me and providing amazing feedback and advice. I have already scheduled his chiropractor appt at Blue Hills! I will be bringing my other boxer here due to the amazing care we received. As long as I live in JC I will bring my boys here! I promise they are worth it!

10/10 Would recommend! All three of our dogs have been seen in the last year, including one that had to have a mastectomy of the entire left chain. They always make my anxious dogs feel comfortable and take their time with them. The office staff and doctors are absolutely wonderful, extremely easy to talk to, empathetic, responsive, and are very helpful. I can usually get an appointment either that day or within a couple days and the pricing is more than reasonable. We are so appreciative of everyone that works there and will be continuing using their services in the future.

I get a call telling me they have to reschedule I only can have a Saturday appointment because that's when my helper is available to help me with my dog because I'm disabled the person said the 19th is available I said too far out she said take her somewhere else some compassion you treat my neighbor like a queen and y'all treat me and my dog like peace and dirt you messaged me about my dog's annual Wellness visit and are three vaccinations and then tell me to take my dog elsewhere I will not change this review one star

I’ve been going to Animal Doctor since 2013 and wouldn’t want to go to any other vet. Dr. Arneson and her staff are great with all four of my pets. This includes grooming, check ups and even emergency calls I’ve had to do after hours. I have no complaints and highly recommend! I think Hotch my dog approves too, he likes the free treats and Cheerios when he goes.

We came to the animal dr and they gave her meds and iv and we still have to watch her but she is doing so much better and for less than what we paid at the other place. My girl Lulu died yesterday in route to the K State emergency vet clinic. Approximately 45 minutes before the emergency appointment that this Animal Doctor was so gracious to provide us. I was given the impression that you were pretty short staffed and booked solid on the day in question. I would like you (owner) to survey your staff. Would they prefer toA. Carry on with their extremely busy schedule orB. The staff is very friendly, but the two times I've taken my two different dogs there, they have gotten ill. My puppy had a bad reaction to one of their vaccinations which lead to needing surgery, and I had to pay at their fault. Love the staff but I do not trust their supplies at all. When they wanted to do all these other things like x-rays and treatments, I informed them that it was too much and I thought he would be okay without them and they continued to insist that I sign up for one of their pet credit cards to pay for it, seemed like they were more in it just for the money.

They couldn't cut my dogs toenails. Wanted to sedate her. Last time they cut them all jagged and cut her in the kwik. Guess she remembered. Because she nipped at them. She had a muzzle on. They wanted to sedate her then if that didnt work knock her out for more money. They finally gave her a decent bath. I will give them that but the last two times i paid for it but i could tell it wasn't a good bath. I'm looking for someone that can cut her nails they are long and need it bad. I see no reason to go where they have quit caring about my dog after almost ten years. it could be change of staff not sure.Update. They finally had a couple good people that held her talked to her and didn't stress her out. I wish I had got their names. The girl brought her paw backwards and cut it she did an amazing job. She got down on the floor. Plus my daughter went with me and held her face.

Great place. My cat was spayed here. Prices are affordable. Service was great. Staff is friendly. They will ask if you want extra services such as bloodwork and IV fluids during surgery. It's up to you and not mandatory in young cats. I'll definitely go back.EDIT: I went for a second time today to have my cat vaccinated. I had a great experience. Very professional veterinarians. Highly recommended.

This was the first visit for my cat to the Animal Doctor. She had a lump on her leg that I wanted the vet to check out. The vet staff was good at getting my cat into the exam room without having to wait in the lobby or hear other animals barking and meowing and they tried to make her comfortable with a blanket and hormone spray when she was on the exam table. I didn't have to wait long for the vet, and she answered all my questions thoroughly during the exam. I would recommend this vet to others, especially if you have pets who are wary of vet visits like mine is.

By far the best vet I have ever been to! The staff get so happy to see your pets and the prices are unmatched, especially for the high quality of care you receive. One of my dogs is very dog reactive and it has never been a problem here because I have never waited in the waiting room so the opportunity has never arisen for my dog to get worked up by another dog. The staff work wonders with nervy dogs and calm dogs alike and they take time to address every one of my concerns that other vets would ignore! My dog was crying after getting spayed and they even went and cuddled her until I picked her up. I have never had a negative experience here!

I can’t begin to say just how wonderful these ladies were to my sweet boy Vito. I took him in due to him not eating for several days. The doctor made my boy feel better and was honest with me that she wasn’t sure if this issue was fixed long term (which I greatly appreciated). Turned out my sweet boy had a much more serious issue than initially thought and they took care of my boy and respected my wishes to end his suffering. They listened to what I had to say and truly cared about my boy and understood he had some anxiety issues with new people but never judged him. I recommend this office for anyone who wants great and honest care for their pets. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.

For a small-town animal doctor, this is a very good facility. What they have: A small facility in a small town that allows the vet to remember you and your pet(s). Kindness and empathy. Minimal waiting in the office. Ease in scheduling an appointment. Competitive pricing. Clean facility. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because it IS a small-town vet facility. For any major medical care for your pet, you need to head to K State (though Animal Doctor eases the transition in every way they can). Would recommend and have recommended this facility.

Dr Arneson and her staff are wonderful. They know our pups and take such good care of them. The staff has made accommodations for us to pick up our pups in special circumstances which means the world to us. They keep us updated on their medical needs and even sent a pic to us while we are away on vacation. There is no other veterinarian and staff that I would trust to care for our pups.

Our dog started showing some signs of a possible obstruction and they were able to get us in the same morning. I feel like they did more than most vets do nowadays. X-rays showed no obstruction and they sent us home with meds to see if maybe she just had a really bad upset stomach. After a few days she was acting better but still wasn't eating so I took her back just to be sure nothing had changed. They did some repeat x-rays and everything was still clear so they changed up her meds and she seems to be on the mend. Any time I had a question or concern they addressed it. The prices were VERY affordable which is definitely a relief with today's prices.

FRONT DESK STAFF IS RUDE! The front office staff is rude, even when you call and have questions or concerns. I had one tell me that I didn't go to vet school so I was wrong. This past week I brought both my dogs in for check ups and one of my dogs is VERY hyper, I could hear them talking about who was going to deal with my dog and do his testing (because they don't have fully enclosed rooms) They talk about other customers badly as well, I overheard them talking about a friend of mine and making fun of her questions she had while I was sitting and waiting for my appointment. The vet that I really liked isn't even there anymore so I am definitely switching. They may be great the first visit but every visit since has been progressively worse and I'm fed up being treated rudely, especially when I have spent upwards of $1000 at your clinic for my dogs' visits.

We love Animal Doctor clinic! We live in Florida but visit this area once a year, we cannot wait to bring our Great Dane to see Dr. Arneson!! They always remember us and treat our girl so great!! Great veterinary care! Full service vet clinic. Very knowledgeable and professional, and personable. We have been taking our pets there for more than 10 years...wouldn't take our dog or cat anywhere else! They recognize us and our pets by name. They spoil our Labrador Retriever....she loves to go there whether it is for vet care or grooming. Just like the sign says, "Your other family doctor!"

I am grateful for them. My dog isn't in the clear yet but we took my dog to another vet and they pushed for us to put her to sleep. We came to the animal dr and they gave her meds and iv and we still have to watch her but she is doing so much better and for less than what we paid at the other place. With all of our losses taken I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am for the Dr's at the animals dr. Thank you so much!

My girl Lulu died yesterday in route to the K State emergency vet clinic. Approximately 45 minutes before the emergency appointment that this Animal Doctor was so gracious to provide us. I was given the impression that you were pretty short staffed and booked solid on the day in question. I would like you (owner) to survey your staff. Would they prefer toA. Carry on with their extremely busy schedule orB. The staff is very friendly, but the two times I've taken my two different dogs there, they have gotten ill. My puppy had a bad reaction to one of their vaccinations which lead to needing surgery, and I had to pay at their fault. Love the staff but I do not trust their supplies at all. When they wanted to do all these other things like x-rays and treatments, I informed them that it was too much and I thought he would be okay without them and they continued to insist that I sign up for one of their pet credit cards to pay for it, seemed like they were more in it just for the money.

Staff here are really friendly and will remember your pet. The groomer doesn't arrive until two hours after they open though, which is the only reason I gave them four stars. Other than that I would highly recommend them for their services, both pet health and grooming related.

I brought my Maltese Snickers here, she had a cough, they thought it was kennel cough at first, but come to find out it was her heart. they put her on meds and they reassured me she could still be around for quite awhile, needless to say Snickers is doing so much better and feisty as ever with her other Fur Siblings. I would bring my dogs back here anytime, everyone is so friendly in the office and all around.

The entire staff is great! We have 3 bulldogs and we foster bulldogs and they are the only ones we'll take our dogs to. They even saved our boy Bruno's life when they found a hole in his diaphram during another fairly routine surgery. These people really care.

I recently inherited a dog that is in pretty rough shape. The vet, Dr Arneson is really amazing and is working with me to bring him back to good health. Also, when I was doing him off to be neutered this evening, a person from a local shelter showed up to pick up the pups that they were helping with. These are really good people. If you're in JC and need a good vet, give these guys a call.

I give it 4 stars because sometimes when i bring my animals here depending on the vet tech and/or vet, they will make me feel so bad about how im raising my animals or what im feeding them. And then there are the times where i come in and they are the nicest people! Just the other day i had the most amazing vet tech and vet, they were soo nice and answered all my silly questions! They are a little pricey, but they also accept care credit which is amazing!

I was referred to kstate from this vet hospital. When I called kstate they wanted to charge me 700 just for testing. After I already paid this clinic 300 for testing and to tell me nothing. I told the woman on the phone that was to high for me that id have to figure it out...Now, Iam a very direct person im not rude untill someone is rude to me. I called back the next day to schedule and asked if they can just get results from this facility so I would not be paying double for the same test. She steadily kept repeating herself saying this is what my vet asked for. So I steadily tried to tell the woman can she just ask there vet not to do that test. Then with attitude tells me that I talked to the last "couple" woman rude and I wasnt gonna to her...I told her first off I had only spoke to ONE woman prior to her and that it was a very brief conversation about price and that I wasnt even rude...long story short I feel that this woman just kept antagonizing me but then the vet called and refused service and now my own vet these people are refusing service...So whats crazy to me is because ONE girl I barley spoke to took my directness as being rude...IDK how and now instead of even hearing me out they all just wanna talk over you and basically say they dont believe you...This is straight ridiculous I have never been rude to ANYONE at this hospital so for them to take there word and basically say f%$k me there client...I will take my business else where and will tell anyone I know not to go here..

The only reason I am giving one star is because it will not let me give 0. I took my cat to be groomed and they said she would have to be be sedated because she is feisty. I agreed. When my daughter picked her up the charge was $100 and it looks like the only think they did was bathe her. Her fur needed trimmed and shaped and it doesn't look like they even brushed her. I am so disappointed in the service received. I will never recommend this business to anyone nor will I use them. I might as well have thrown a hundred dollars out the window because now I will have to pay someone else to do the grooming correctly.

I have been with Animal Doctor for 10 years. My schnauzer Dozer had diabetes, cushings disease, kidney issues. Dr. Arneson and her staff were so pateint with him. Dozer wasa a different kind of cookie and they understood that. Appointments were scheduled around times of the day that put less stress on him. When he got sick and passed away they all came in and gave some kind of gentle comforting words. The whole staff incouraged me to rescue a new pet when i was ready and little did they know I recued my new little love...Guardian Angel. I believe this clinic thinks of what is best for you and your pet and give 110% of their hearts and souls to your pets care.

For a small-town animal doctor, this is a very good facility. What they have: A small facility in a small town that allows the vet to remember you and your pet(s). Kindness and empathy. Minimal waiting in the office. Ease in scheduling an appointment. Competitive pricing. Clean facility. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because it IS a small-town vet facility. For any major medical care for your pet, you need to head to K State (though Animal Doctor eases the transition in every way they can). Would recommend and have recommended this facility.

Just went there to have my cats ear looked at. Was charged $200. I have a cone that is too big for him that I can’t return. Was charged $25 for ear cleaning that I could have done at home if they would have shown me. The medication they gave me for him they overcharged for. They did a test that could have been avoided if they just used an ear scope. Will never ever go back to this place. They are only out to get your money.

Do not go there they refill your pet meds but claim you need this and that done and that it has expired when you have extra refills still. The staff is just dumb and by dumb I mean they charged 10.00 for for 125.00 prescription yet they claim they are the best NOT. Save your time and money to go to another vet office. They are in for money and keep reviews of what they write about you on there documents proof for how horrible they claim they are nice in your face but stab you in the back saying you stormed out the door etc. Btw for the record I walked out not stormed Dr.Jennifer Arneson. No wonder there is always new staff due to lack of service. Don't go at all seek your pets treatment somewhere else. Town Country does a better job and treating pet owners better

A few days ago I came out of the grocery store and found a little kitten under my car. He was so sweet but so sick. He couldn't even open one of his eyes. I made it across the street to the Animal Doctors just in time before they closed. The young lady there was very sweet and she called her boss and I was told I needed to take the kitten to the shelter. Well the shelter didn't open back up until the next day at 1:00. (This they knew). I took him home and did everything I could to make him comfortable and just held him and loved him. He passed away that night.

Animal Doctor in JC is by far the best. The staff is great, friendly & knowledgable. They try to get you an appointment within 24 hours. The prices are very reasonable. Our dog started showing some signs of a possible obstruction and they were able to get us in the same morning. I feel like they did more than most vets do nowadays. X-rays showed no obstruction and they sent us home with meds to see if maybe she just had a really bad upset stomach. After a few days she was acting better but still wasn't eating so I took her back just to be sure nothing had changed. They did some repeat x-rays and everything was still clear so they changed up her meds and she seems to be on the mend. Any time I had a question or concern they addressed it. The prices were VERY affordable which is definitely a relief with today's prices.

FRONT DESK STAFF IS RUDE! The front office staff is rude, even when you call and have questions or concerns. I had one tell me that I didn't go to vet school so I was wrong. This past week I brought both my dogs in for check ups and one of my dogs is VERY hyper, I could hear them talking about who was going to deal with my dog and do his testing (because they don't have fully enclosed rooms) They talk about other customers badly as well, I overheard them talking about a friend of mine and making fun of her questions she had while I was sitting and waiting for my appointment. The vet that I really liked isn't even there anymore so I am definitely switching. They may be great the first visit but every visit since has been progressively worse and I'm fed up being treated rudely, especially when I have spent upwards of $1000 at your clinic for my dogs' visits.

My husband and I had a long vacation out to California..We didn't know who to leave our Shepherd "Max" with...Worried stiff...My husband said we would leave him at pet care...I didn't like the reviews I read on some...I saw "Animal Doctor" and it's rates...We decided, since it was where he gets his shots from we wld give it a try...We left "Max" our German Shepherd in there care for about 10 days... It was the best choice....They was so good to him...he looked as if he had gain weight 😁...He really took to them and didn't try to bite em...They took "SUPER GOOD" care of him...They took a great load of our shoulders...I called from California to check on him...I found a great place to leave my pet without worrying...For 10 days of shelter, food, care, I loved there price & Care..From now on, I've found great sitter 4 our dog....THANKS ANIMAL DOCTOR👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾You are the best

My Dog had a growth on her side which kept getting bigger and bigger and no one wanted to take it off so I did ask Dr. Arneson and she took it off with her Laser and it went fantastic,she recovered perfectly and Dr. Arneson even called to check on her .I love the special care my pets receive.

After two other vet clinics & not being pleased... I finally tried Animal Doc & will say I was very pleased. Having my mom being a vet tech & being picky I will say my fur babies will be going back here until we PCS somewhere else.. ♡

Just went there to have my cats ear looked at. Was charged $200. I have a cone that is too big for him that I can’t return. Was charged $25 for ear cleaning that I could have done at home if they would have shown me. The medication they gave me for him they overcharged for. They did a test that could have been avoided if they just used an ear scope. Will never ever go back to this place. They are only out to get your money.

Do not go there they refill your pet meds but claim you need this and that done and that it has expired when you have extra refills still. The staff is just dumb and by dumb I mean they charged 10.00 for for 125.00 prescription yet they claim they are the best NOT. Save your time and money to go to another vet office. They are in for money and keep reviews of what they write about you on there documents proof for how horrible they claim they are nice in your face but stab you in the back saying you stormed out the door etc. Btw for the record I walked out not stormed Dr.Jennifer Arneson. No wonder there is always new staff due to lack of service. Don't go at all seek your pets treatment somewhere else. Town Country does a better job and treating pet owners better

A few days ago I came out of the grocery store and found a little kitten under my car. He was so sweet but so sick. He couldn't even open one of his eyes. I made it across the street to the Animal Doctors just in time before they closed. The young lady there was very sweet and she called her boss and I was told I needed to take the kitten to the shelter. Well the shelter didn't open back up until the next day at 1:00. (This they knew). I took him home and did everything I could to make him comfortable and just held him and loved him. He passed away that night.

This place is hands down the best animal care facility we have ever been to. We, unfortunately, had to euthanize our pup, but the staff was so kind thru it all. Their prices are very reasonable. If we ever get another animal, we won't go anywhere else.

A few years ago I ventured out of town to see a new vet and Animal Doctors are amazing!I am very close to my pets and everyone there understands what it is like to love an animal! Riley has to offer. Friendly staff. However, it was way over-priced. I paid for stitches that ripped immediately in the parkinglot and were not replaced. But, the staff was very friendly and helpful with getting my dog in on emergency.
