So, i had one of my dogs cremated over two years ago. They was helpful and nice. I was happy that they came and picked up my dog. They return her ashes within a few days. Now, why three stars? I had recently had another dog pass away. I called their number to make arrangements to get my other dog cremated. They never return my calls, I left about 3 messages over 4 days. I'm disappointed in this and had my dog cremated somewhere else. If you can get ahold of them and make arrangements, they are great.

I highly recommend this place for many reasons. They are a family owned and operated business. I appreciate this because I know who is handling my animal compared to other places where I would not. The owner is very respectful, kind, caring, and more! They are always open, even in the evenings and on the weekends. This is not the case for other places. For instance, if you take your animal to a hospital at night or over the weekend, your animal may sit in a freezer until cremation services pick them up. If you come here, your animal will be cremated in a reasonable time avoiding the freezer which may be mind-settling for you. Their prices cannot be found anywhere else, either! I think what stands out the most is the customer service! The owner and I conversed for some time at the appointment. I learned a lot about the business and the owner herself. The owner is very knowledgeable in the business. They’ve been in business for over 50 years! I really appreciate what you all do. Although you’re not always needed, I’ll keep you in mind for when you are!

I recently had my beloved gerbils, Dango and Fuwa, pass away suddenly due to illness. Ohio Valley Pet Cemetery and Crematory was one of the many places I had talked to in my local area regarding pet cremation and was by far, in my opinion, the most compassionate, caring, and affordable. They responded very fast to my messages, and I was able to bring my gerbils in the very next day. Once the process was done, I was able to take home a certificate, fur clippings, and a beautiful box with my babies inside. I cannot fully express how thankful I am to the family at Ohio Valley, and highly recommend their services to anyone looking for pet cremation or burial services.

We lost our cat, Mickey the Meow, very suddenly. We were very distraught and we weren’t really sure what to do. My husband called rather late on a Sunday night and they were so kind and caring. They’re locally owned and they have very fair pricing, way better than other places. We will certainly recommend them to anyone that loses their pet and when we lose our other pets they will be our first call. The kindness and care shown to us made a hard ordeal more bearable.

My Mom's cat passed away after 18 years, and she was devastated. Thankfully Ohio Valley Pet Cemetery were understanding and caring throughout the entire process. This is the 3rd Cat my Mom has left in the care of this wonderful place, and the couple that run the Pet Cemetery truly care about the Clients and pets. The Empathy they show while handling a difficult and painful time put my Mom at ease and let her know she made the right choice. The cost of the burial or cremation services can't be matched and Southern Indiana is blessed to have such a professional and compassionate service.

This is one of the worst nights of my life. My best friend died. Jojo wasn't just a dog, or a family pet, but my best friend. I spent more time with him than any other living creature on earth. We knew that his time with us was coming to an end, but his end was still sudden. He died at 12:15 am. We took him to get cremated at 2 am. I sent a message requesting an appointment. I said I needed it ASAP. We dropped him off a bit ago. I couldn't ask for anything else on one of the worst nights of my life.

The other night our cat was hit and killed. The driver did not stop and left her for dead. I thought about burying her but then the thought of leaving her behind when we move next year killed me. So we started calling around to get her cremated. We choose this place because not only was it the cheapest but they gave us some of her hair and a beautiful certificate, something nobody else offered to do. The woman was very kind. She cared about our feelings. I was a crying mess! We got her back the next day in a beautiful box. This was my first loss of a pet and it is very painful. I highly recommend this place.

After losing our best buddy, we were heartened by Ohio Valley’s care and consideration. They answered the phone at night, let us bring our boy, and say ‘good bye.’ This is a family-owned, local business with fair pricing.
