I lost a beloved friend 2 years ago and Theresa was SO compassionate and made me feel so much better. It is upsetting to be handed a box full of ashes that used to be your best friend. Today, 7/19/23, I picked up another dear friend. My nerves were raw and "Ashley" brought out the box with his ashes and just "slung" the sack at me. There was another person waiting and Ashley didn't even look at me, just handed me the sack and asked the other person what she wanted. Also, there was a note on the sack to call when ready. I never did get a call..... I called myself because my dear vet had told me to wait a couple of days and then call if I didn't hear from them. I have always had a good feeling about this place. I got my husband's ashes from the "other side" 2 years ago and again, Theresa was so kind. I was not happy with Ashley.

Spread our pets ashes without giving us a final opportunity to pick up his ashes. They should 100% call people and give them a final chance to come get their pet before they go and spread them. We didn’t get a final phone call from them or from Purdue university.Now my marine vets best friend Ruger, is spread in a cemetery and not with him. 💔The worst part is that I tried to get them a few weeks ago and no one called me back etc.

Having several dogs means a lot of goodbyes. The staff at Pets Remembered has been amazing in the four times I have had to use their services over the last few years. They are so incredibly kind and make the process as easy as possible during such a tough time. I would highly recommend them! Their prices are also some of the most reasonable in the area. Can't say enough good things about them.

We used Pets Remembered twice for our dogs in the past. The experience was okay but not great. My daughter’s 13 yr lab (from TN) fell ill while she was home last weekend. I called on Friday (the day before the 4th of July) and was told by a very rude male (he told me he was from the co - not an answering service) that I would need to put the dog in a cool place until Monday and then call back on Monday to see when he might be able to pick Capone up. No thank you. I found a great co in Westfield that didn’t even charge extra to come to Lafayette. Look elsewhere. I was also told by a vet that a human funeral home here in Lafayette provides animal cremation as well.
