As parents of a large family, we decided to pre- plan our funerals. Fisher Funeral Home’s prices were reasonable and there wasn’t any obligation or pressure to pay right away. Jonathan made the process easy and straightforward and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend Fisher Funeral Home and all of their services.

After making various calls around town, our family decided to go with Fisher Funeral Home. Jonathan Fisher and his team made us feel comfortable, were extremely accommodating with our requests and most of all patient and understanding. They offer reasonable rates, are very professional and respectful. I appreciate Mr. Fisher for helping make this experience as smooth and easy as possible. My mother in law passed a year ago , her son had her brought here, because of their empathy of the passing of his dad . They are very reasonable with their rates as well as good and caring people. I would consider choosing Fishers for your loved ones . To those who are having to make this decision, I'm so sorry for your loss, I completely understand your pain .

Funeral services are easily one of the last things to ever think of, but also, one of the most important services provided. Fisher Funeral provided nothing but grace. All of the options and communications were clear and there was no pressure at all. This is, obviously, one of the worst times in most people's lives, and those caring details really make a difference. The historical site in Lafayette is beautifully preserved and offer a calming environment by this family run asset. I received a wonderful card for the holidays with an invitation to a service of honor to remember our loved ones. It is with a heavy heart I could not have attended, but the Christmas card was surprisingly comforting.

Fishers made the whole experience easy to deal with. Mr. Fisher was easy to talk to i didn't feel like I was at a funeral home. Which was a good feeling for me when handling something I didn't really want to have to do. So thank you very much for making this smooth and easy for me and my family. This is the only place we will go. We feel safe and cared for here when we were planning our funerals. We visited other funeral homes and didn't get the service we were looking for; they seemed to be rushing our meetings. Fisher Funeral Home was pateint with us and let us come back a few times to talk things through. Our friends had told us about Fisher's and after we attended another funeral there, we were glad to have found them. It's been a load off our minds to know that we will be taken care of. Thank you to the Fisher family for your kindness and answering all our questions. We feel at peace.

Anyone can see that this is more than just a job for the Fisher's. They truly care that all who enter their doors are met with professionalism and compassion. All it took was one call to Fisher Funeral and they took care of the rest. I will never go anywhere else for me funeral needs. When my son passed away in April, after speaking with several funeral directors, and my son's Township Trustee, I called Fisher funeral home. I spoke with both Jonathan and Melanie over a period of 2-3 weeks. I am a 76 year old widow on a fixed income and live 80 miles away from Lafayette. My son was on Medicare disability with no life insurance. Jonathan and Melanie were unbelievably kind and compassionate, helped me with the whole process and made multiple phone calls on my behalf. I was treated with such dignity in spite of my limited finances. They have more than proven that there are still kind and sensitive people in this world.

Located in both Logansport and Lafayette, I have found both locations to be incredibly professional, respectful and detail oriented. Their dedication to serving not only the deceased but their families comes from a very strong love for the funeral process and every single person in their offices is very caring. I have witnessed them go out of their way to comfort and serve families in ways other homes haven't. Fisher is run by wonderful people who truly care about what they are doing!!! They give great honor and respect to all they serve. Fisher also takes care of your animals and are very kind and understanding when it comes to caring for a beloved dog or any other animal who was your close friend. They go out of their way to help you and will even come to your house to pick up the remains of your animal friend. They will help you however they can.

A few weeks ago I was entrusted by my family with the job of finding a funeral home for our dying father. I called three funeral homes in Lafayette to ask for pricing information for the type of service my father wanted… Jonathan was the only one that showed compassion for what I and our family was going through. When you are going through something like that, the last thing you want is to talk to a salesperson… After making those phones calls I had no doubt that that’s the funeral home we wanted to use for when the time came. Unfortunately, we had to make the call the following day… Jonathan and his team were not only caring, but great to work with, very patient explaining the process and extremely accommodating with our requests. I highly recommend them, not only for their compassionate care during this difficult time, but they were also the more affordable of our options, which made our decision even easier! My whole family sends their thanks to you Jonathan! Gracias amigo!

My best friends father passed away and held the service at this place called a funeral home. The way my friends and her family were treated has me absolutely freaking speechless!!!! How can you look someone’s daughters in the face and laugh at them while they mourn their father after they put him in a cardboard box and then announced to the entire room he wouldn’t be created until all funds are paid. That is something that should have been said in private and they announced it to the entire funeral home. I am In Absolute disbelief at how her family and friends were treated and how awful they treated my friends father.

They don't deserve to have a license. They should be ashamed to call themselves a funeral homes. Very rude and heartless employees. During My fathers visitation today a women came out and announced to the hole entire family that my father will not be cremated until everything is paid for. They also new when we met for the first time that this was our first funeral we have ever had to plan. They never explain anything to my family. They never told us the options we had for memorial cards or bothered to tell us we wouldn't have our pre ordered book marks today. They didn't even bothered to explain any financial matters. I honestly hope this helps other family's. On days like today familes deserve compassion not heartless people who do not care about families grieving. We had 15 people and they said our group was so big they didn't know who to tell about the finances. So instead of asking who was next to kin and in charge of everything they announced private matters to everybody who came. Nobody should ever have to deal with this. I hope this prevents other familes from such a horrible experience on an already emotionally hard day.

5 stars doesn't even begin to describe the way you are treated at Fisher. Upon arrival if your lucky enough to have the ability to see the mascot Pork chop. There is just a totally different feeling when a dog is there to lay its head and make you feel more comfortable. Talking to John is more soft-spoken and cares more about you and how you feel rather than just another "customer" Caring for the member it's all more a quiet home like setting. I don't know of any other place I'd rather deal with them for anything over anyone else.Looking forward to doing more business with him in the future. Love John and Porkchop.Thanks for all you do. John is more friendlier than others, I've gone back just to hang out with a newfound friend and confident.

The owners take extreme care to cover each detail and deliever a 1st class operation during the hardest of times for their customers. There was plenty of parking which is rare downtown and plenty of flags for the procession. Jonathan Fisher is involved in many community fundraisers and always available to lend a hand or support a cause important to the community.

This was the MOST unfortunate, unorganized, dissatisfying experience yet that l have had in mourning, paying last respects, and honoring a loved one! The viewing services were ok. The funeral, on the other hand left very much to be desired. Even though it was off site from the funeral home, there's NO excuse for the lack of organization! Upon arriving at the church, the limousine & hearse were in line beside a side door of the church. Guests were parked in the lot and flags were only on certain cars sporadically. As we inquired about getting a flag, we were told they would be disbursed outside after the service, a man from Fishers even announced from the podium after service that they were outside, and told guests to just "fall in line behind the hearse". We asked yet again AFTER service, while waiting outside & searching for the flags that they would be available later. Finally, they brought them out & guests were responsible for getting their own flag. To make this poor situation worse, they ran out of flags! " Wow"! How sad! As leaving the Church, l noticed the sister of the deceased waiting to join the line so of course l allowed her out in front of me. SHE should have been DIRECTLY behind the hearse, nor did she have a flag! You need to take lesson's from Hippensteel, as people show up for funeral, they ask as you arrive if you're going to cemetery, what's your relation to the deceased, and they flag your car as well as put you in line! Hippensteel also has authorities on hand to halt traffic at stop lights & stop signs. Fisher's did not, their lead vehicle with flashing lights also was about 10 car lengths ahead of the hearse! A VERY DISSATISFYING experience. I will NEVER use, nor recommend Fisher's Funeral Home to ANYONE!

I would trust the Fisher's with my life. Even though when I finally do entrust myself with the Fisher's I will be dead. I trust them in life and in death. The Fisher's are active in their community and are very professional but personable. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
