I was heartbroken when my baby boy of 16 years died last week. I wanted to have him cremated and have his ashes sent to me. We got to pick from like 10 different irns(give or take a few). All which were very pretty. We decided on the cedar box. I just want to say how exceptionally happy I am with this company. They did such an amazing job making sure my baby was handled with care. We got such a beautiful urn and was given a certificate of cremation, as well as a beautiful velvet bag. I highly recommend them for pet cremation. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job. You can tell your company takes great care and pride in what you do. I couldn't be any happier.

Everything went well except for issues with the urn box. When I received my box, it was beautiful and shiny but they engraved the wrong date on the box. I contacted them to ask if it could be fixed and they said, yes, and it’s free of charge. I was satisfied with that. So I was asked to bring the old box back in before I could be given the new corrected box, so I gave it to them and I got the new box. When I opened the new box, it looked terrible. It looked nothing like the first box. It looked really old, messed up, it stunk, and there was mold all over the outside and the inside of the box. I cannot believe that a company dealing with people that are grieving, would do this to them. It seemed like maybe they were unhappy that they had to fix their engraving mistake that they wanted to give me an old messed up box. I have no other explanation. I shared one picture of how nice the first box looked and 3 pictures of how bad the second box looks. Some people told me to make them give me another box but I don’t want to deal with this company again. I ended up ordering a new urn online. I will never use this company again!

Multiple accounts of names being misspelled on paw prints, but correct on the certificate. Thats a major issue that wouldn't happen with the most basic oversight. Also, pets ashes have been mixed with others and disposed of and then the owner never was contacted. Not sure who's running this place anymore but service has went downhill fast.

I was disgusted with the pricing options after I was given the terminal cancer news for my cat, Lucky. On top of euthanization prices and lab fees I had to pay a ton of money to get a paw print, lock of hair or a decent urn. While pet parents are grieving they slide these pamphlets in front of you immediately and me wanting all I can from my baby I was told I couldn't because I couldn't afford it. I got her back in a tin box with pamphlets and a certificate. For future animals, I wish they'd offer a standard free ink print and an upgrade option for the clay prints. A lock of fur for free if requested, or an upgrade fee for it done in an artsy presentation type way. I just, banking money off of grieving people never sat right with me.

We just got the ashes back from our 15 year old dog today. (It’s been 9 days since his passing, so pretty quick). I’m a little disappointed because he came in a weird paperboard-ish cylinder, and when we tried to open it to reveal a baggie of ash (like every single other time I’ve received a pet’s ashes), a puff of dust was released, and we can’t get the lid to go back on properly. This was incredibly disheartening, watching some of my precious dog’s ashes puff out onto the table. It felt incredibly disrespectful.Back in April, I had my hamster cremated through the same service. It was great! She came in a little wooden box with her ashes in a sealed baggie, and every little thing was labelled with her name and a barcode, which made me feel confident that I actually received HER remains. I also received a little keepsake that has her name and pawprints, which I absolutely didn’t expect. It feels like they went above and beyond my expectations for my hamster, but when it came time for the precious dog that I had for FIFTEEN YEARS, the result was quite disappointing. Maybe we didn’t choose the right “package” or something, but I don’t remember selecting anything specific for my hamster’s ashes, and those turned out great. I’ve never seen ashes stored so carelessly before — they’ve always been sealed in a bag, perfectly safe, perfectly contained. Why isn’t there a warning that my dog’s ashes are just FREE inside this box? That is NOT intuitive, and there ought to be some sort of obvious warning or label. Very disappointed this time. For somebody who is receiving a dog or cat’s ashes for the first time, there needs to be a little more guidance.(Giving benefit of the doubt, and first time was great, so 3 stars)

We recently had our beautiful boy, Jeter, cremated and we received him back today. (Took a little over 2 weeks from Euthanasia at our vet to getting him back) His box is beautiful. We will definitely use them again.

Paws and Remember in Fort Wayne was beyond amazing! The family ferret died after a long struggle between good health and not so good health. We decided to have him cremated and wanted to make sure that it was a private cremation (no other animals mixed in) and all his favorite things were cremated with him. Paws and Remember was more than happy to make that happen. We were told by the vet that his urn would have his name and dog paw prints on it which really didn’t matter to me. When we got him back after a quicker time than what we were quoted, there were paw prints on the top but they were ferret paw prints and his name. We also received a little book that we can fill out that is all about him and the last page had a clipping of his fur in a baggie. Along with his certificate of passing/cremation certificate, we also received a picture frame. I cried from sadness of one of our family members being gone but also because they took the time to make his passing special. I am beyond satisfied and one day when the other three family members pass, I will definitely be calling Paws and Remember. Paws and Remember, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making Mater’s passing so special!!

We had to put our fur baby down in May, and decided to have her cremated. Everything would have turned out beautifully, except the employees can't spell "Cracker" or bother to double check paperwork to make sure they are engraving the correct name. Not like you can redo a paw print with the correct name after your pet has been cremated. If you're a company who engraves names, you should be better at literacy.

Today is the 1 yr anniversary of losing our sweet little Boston Terrier, Leo -- so we're thinking of him lots. I wanted to leave a note here about the very kind girl who helped me make the arrangements for his cremation. It was such a sad few days & she was incredibly nice.I was kept informed when Leo was transported from the vet into their care, and all through the process with kind messages.A time like this is heartbreaking for all pet parents; she helped make it a little more bearable. Thank you.

I have good and little disapointing experiance. Will say loved fur and greif support info you give. But i hope they see this so can consider making sure this critical information is told before getting the foot print.. Like they did good job.But they don't inform vets that they switched types clay must of been over yr ago they switched.they use self setting vrs baked it any m ore. So it will stay kinda soft forever. I got paw print to feel my furbaby paw again. Now can't that hurts don't give me wrong it is beauitful though. Also I wish paws and remember gave the vets paper work for client fill out even though it is hard to do so in time of emotion paper work.Alot family's each person has their dog. But often just 1 vet account. So if paws and remember had you fill out paper work. Could make sure get the main owner of that dog on cremation certfiict. We're they can put main person or even put 3 names down.Because now I know. We plan let are vet know to put note in that my name will be listed when my dog passed. If grandparents aka my parents names also if they want. So the certification is more personal.

It's been a week since I lost my precious baby girl, Tooter (a 12.5 yr old boston terrier). I have never been so devastated by the loss of a pet because she was my daughter. When I received her ashes today it was so comforting and when I saw the locks of her hair that P&R saved for me, I was so grateful. I can't say enough about the caring gentle way Paws & Remember (Fort Wayne) treated me. They are a very special business. Thank you P&R.

Wonderful, they returned my sweet Coco's remains to his veterinarian in a lovely bag. The bag came with a certificate of dignity and a small booklet you can fill out with all the loving memories of your little pal. The box is beautiful and just so pleased with this company, it helped with the passing of my first pet.

I wanted to find a really good place To take my beloved 18 year old kitty cat for the service That Paws & Remember Provides. A friend recommended this company to me. I was very pleased with the politeness and very timely service I received. Everything exceeded my expectations and I was very happy they even saved some of my pets beautiful white fur, bagged it and attached it to a booklet they provided.

They were so supportive and kind to us during this heartbreaking time. I absolutely love the beautiful wooden photo urn we have our Layla girl in, plus her clay pawprint and locks of her fur they gave us are so special to our family. We cannot thank them enough.

Where in the blue balls is the quality control in this place!? Of all the businesses this should be THE one place to have a quality control person checking these things because what grieving family wants to bring home their recently deceased animals remains and have their name spelled wrong on something that can’t be replaced such as their last foot print. Her name is CELEBI. You spelled it right on the certificate but failed to compare it or spell check before putting it on the footprint?! Unforgivable.

I didn't know what to expect when I got the call from our vet saying that our beloved dog's ashes were ready to be picked up. I broke down crying when I pulled out the beautiful velvet bag. They also provided other momentos and letters to go along with it. It makes me feel better knowing he was cared for even after we had to say good bye to him....

Benson lived for over 18 years. He was a great cat. Paws & Remember did more than a great job. I posted them on Facebook and cannot express the outstanding job they did. I truly believe they care. My pain is lessened by the care they gave Benson.

We went to the paws and remember in fort wayne... My inital call was the first time i had ever had to call a place about cremation .. I was told the second i said that my (pet) Bandit had just passed away. She immediatly said i am so sorry for your loss. Then was told what i needed to do and that the payment will have to be paid upfront ( just incase anyone were to have a question about that.) 1 week later we had his ashes back and in a beautiful urn that my son had picked for him. They treated us wonderful. I would definitely recommend them.

Although I wish we didn't have to use their services at all, when we lost our Great Dane our entire family was truly heartbroken.. when we got her back she was in a beautiful personalized box, we had a heartfelt letter, along with other things we will treasure forever. Services were done in Ft. Wayne In. I can't thank you enough for your care and compassion.

We just had to say goodbye to our little friend last week. I had called P&R to find out when his cremains would be scattered in their garden and I was told that had stopped. Morgan didn’t know when or where that would be. Please consider any other way care for your pet instead of this place. I was also told that wherever this would be would not be public.

I am so upset and so disappointed. I asked several times for extra fur from my beautiful Mocha. I even sent a bag for the extra fur. My husband just picked him up and they only gave me a tiny bit of fur. There is absolutely nothing I can do about it now. This made a terrible time in my life even worse. I am just beyond heartbroken

This review could go on for hours but let me shorten it up too pure satisfaction, you guys went above and beyond to give our family the up mist respect and sympathy of the passing of our 4 legged son Deano Farris, you made us very comfortable with our decisions on the arrangements for his final memories.
