I recently had a family friend pass away. Our friend had already decided on her arrangements and this was very helpful. Some things still needed to be taken care of and the people I worked with were amazing. I live out of state and still had the help and guidance I needed. When I came into town Lynn helped myself and our family through this difficult time. She made everything flow so smoothly. The versions of the songs that had been picked made the service extremely nice. I received a lot of compliments on how nice the service was and we felt she was buried with dignity and the peace she deserved. I would highly recommend Loose Funeral Home for anyone planning their arrangements. I was relieved and very grateful for all of the help they gave me.

Back in March 26 2023 started my journey with these amazing people. They talk to us with the warmest heart I have ever meet. At that time my mom was still with us they Comfort her with open arms with no questions even when it was time to pick up my father. They were still amazing embracing me with open arms. They took care of my father very well. And than on January 9th 2024 my mom passed it was so sudden we knew there was going to be a time because she was fighting bladder cancer when she finally met my father at the heavenly Gates we called. They came and got her gave us the respect as long as we needed until they took her out. They have been there for us my family from day one until this day. They will text me to see how I am doing in this crisis of my life. They treat you like family they hold you like family. If you will trust anybody with your love I suggest this funeral home my mother looked amazing. I asked to make sure that my mother did not have a lot of makeup on because she wasn’t that woman and she didn’t. She looked amazing. We had such a wonderful service for my children’s father. The funeral home worked with us every step of the way helping us and being understanding about us not having enough funds for our loved ones cost. This happened very unexpectedly and no one is ever prepared for this to happen. Through the entire process Ellie, Mark, Preston and everyone else was very very understanding and so helpful. We couldn’t have chose a better place for our service. We went in at 3pm for the viewing and as the services were over at 8pm we didn’t leave the funeral home until almost 9pm as my daughter wouldn’t leave her father’s casket. We were not rushed out afterwards, they never once asked us to leave. After the service they reached out to check on how our family was doing. I would highly recommend Robert Loose funeral home. He will forever be missed. Thank you to everyone.

I truly don’t even know where to start. I was my son’s great aunts guardian. I have never had to plan any end of life services. The hospice charge nurse HIGHLY recommended Loose funeral home. I’m so grateful that she did. Not only was hospice amazing, but I couldn’t have asked for a better services and the compassion that everyone at Loose funeral home showed. I had the pleasure of working with Lynn. Trying to hold back the tears while finalizing everything for my loved one. Lynn was absolutely amazing to work with, she caned my anxiety, gave me details of everything, they always kept me informed on next steps. I couldn’t have handled this if it wasn’t for their kindness, love and support. I will ever be indebted to them for helping through this difficult time. My loved one always wanted to be baptized, but never had the opportunity to do so. They were absolutely amazing allowing the hospice chaplain to baptize her before being cremated. We are eternally grateful for everything they have done for me and my family. I highly recommend if unfortunately needing end of life services that they go with Loose funeral home. They have made my decisions easier to make with their kindness. Thank you so much Loose! I will never forget your kindness with love and compassion. You all are amazing people! ❤️❤️

After many challenges and difficulties with another Indianapolis based company I called Loose funeral home inquiring about their services. I had remembered their name as they had taken care of my grandfather 27 years ago when Robert Loose was running the business. Even at 16 I remember very well the great care and support they gave my mom and I while we made arrangements and endured one of the most difficult times in our lives. After briefly explaining the challenges I had experienced with my mother’s passing I was immediately transferred to Mark Loose. Mark and his team quickly made me feel like their top priority, despite our small budget. They made the swift transition from the challenging company to their care with ease. They went above and beyond to not only meet the expectations I had recalled, but exceeded them while making it all feel effortless and affordable. Even when another challenge arose with the cemetery they were there advocating for my family on our behalf. I can’t imagine any another company that would make me feel so valued and well cared for without breaking the bank! They are compassionate and caring, making you feel like family.

My family used Loose Funeral home for both of my parents which died 9 months apart. We were devastated! Mike from Loose Funeral home took care of us. He was so kind and not only listened to us he helped make difficult decisions with us. I’ve experienced other funeral homes and I can say that Loose Funeral home goes out of their way to make sure all questions are answered that we had. I can not express the gratitude I have for everyone involved! Both services were beautiful. After many challenges and difficulties with another Indianapolis based company I called Loose funeral home inquiring about their services. I had remembered their name as they had taken care of my grandfather 27 years ago when Robert Loose was running the business. Even at 16 I remember very well the great care and support they gave my mom and I while we made arrangements and endured one of the most difficult times in our lives. After briefly explaining the challenges I had experienced with my mother’s passing I was immediately transferred to Mark Loose. Mark and his team quickly made me feel like their top priority, despite our small budget. They made the swift transition from the challenging company to their care with ease. They went above and beyond to not only meet the expectations I had recalled, but exceeded them while making it all feel effortless and affordable. Even when another challenge arose with the cemetery they were there advocating for my family on our behalf. I can’t imagine any another company that would make me feel so valued and well cared for without breaking the bank! They are compassionate and caring, making you feel like family.

He was so kind and not only listened to us he helped make difficult decisions with us. All the staff, and especially Mike Neff, were very helpful. They were very kind at how they worked with us. They answered all the questions we had. They showed us various options that we had in the service and let us pick what we wanted. He did not try to push us any direction on choices. During the viewing hours when a storm rolled through and knocked out our slideshow presentation due to a power outage, they worked for a good while to get it back on and running. They were very helpful by not being sticklers with hours and closing times, when some family traveling a long distance arrived late.

This has been the worst time for our family. On April 10th 2018 my nephew Christopher lost his life . We took him to another funeral home Legacy and they wouldn't budge on helping us with a funeral. They went above and beyond for my old pupper CC. Loose is the funeral home VCA (emergency vet) hospital uses for pet cremations and I was so surprised at all they did. They were affordable and I was shocked when his cremains were returned to me in an actual urn, not some flimsy cheap box. They also included a clay paw print and a "certificate of passing" similar to a human death certificate. I was not expecting any of this. I know some people may read this and think "it's just a dog" but my dogs are family to me, and the way Loose took care of my little old man surpassed any expectation I had for a pet cremation. I have already recommended them to all of my pet parent friends who live in the area. I live in Chicago (was visiting my mom when all this happened) and I'm so impressed I will more than likely return to them for my other dog when it's her time, even if it is a 4 hour drive for me.

The staff was incredibly friendly, with the exception of one woman. We had a video to play during the funeral and I found it incredibly sad that we only had one option to hook up our movie (DVD - you'd think they'd have other formats to play this) To make matters worse, I called a head of time to find out which cords I should bring (assuming we had a state of the art projector to work with), and the lady I talked to had no clue. During a time like this, the last thing we should have had to worry about was their equipment.

Everyone was nice enough but there was no secular option. I was forced into giving a "donation" to a minister to speak even though I was pretty clear about how non-religious I wanted the service to be. On top of that, I couldn't really afford to pay for death services so that added expense only made a difficult situation harder.

However, looking back over the years, and with the separate burials of my Mom, Dad & Brother in-law, I can truly say that the experiences I've had with Rob and his staff have been nothing but comforting and first class. When burying a loved one, you want to feel like you are dealing with family, not just a business. Keep up the great work!

This has been the worst time for our family. On April 10th 2018 my nephew Christopher lost his life . We took him to another funeral home Legacy and they wouldn't budge on helping us with a funeral. We then reached out to Robert D Loose funeral home and got so much respect. They fought for our family and did the best job on my nephew. I recommend them . They went above and beyond for my old pupper CC. Loose is the funeral home VCA (emergency vet) hospital uses for pet cremations and I was so surprised at all they did. They were affordable and I was shocked when his cremains were returned to me in an actual urn, not some flimsy cheap box. They also included a clay paw print and a "certificate of passing" similar to a human death certificate. I was not expecting any of this. I know some people may read this and think "it's just a dog" but my dogs are family to me, and the way Loose took care of my little old man surpassed any expectation I had for a pet cremation. I have already recommended them to all of my pet parent friends who live in the area. I live in Chicago (was visiting my mom when all this happened) and I'm so impressed I will more than likely return to them for my other dog when it's her time, even if it is a 4 hour drive for me.

The staff was incredibly friendly, with the exception of one woman. We had a video to play during the funeral and I found it incredibly sad that we only had one option to hook up our movie (DVD - you'd think they'd have other formats to play this) To make matters worse, I called a head of time to find out which cords I should bring (assuming we had a state of the art projector to work with), and the lady I talked to had no clue. During a time like this, the last thing we should have had to worry about was their equipment.

Everyone was nice enough but there was no secular option. I was forced into giving a "donation" to a minister to speak even though I was pretty clear about how non-religious I wanted the service to be. On top of that, I couldn't really afford to pay for death services so that added expense only made a difficult situation harder.
