I have multiple dogs and a cat buried at Hinsdale. They do a wonderful job, are always caring, and keep the grounds looking good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

A trusted journey for me and my family. I would like to personally thank the Trusted Journey team; Sabrina and Charlie for taking care my beloved dog Houston. She was well taken care for her cremation process. The surrounding place is very peaceful, I was able to find stillness and peace walking at the cemetery and the Butterfly Garden. Once again, sincerely thank you!

I’ve never met such professional people. My cat was hospitalized back in January and knew I had to prepare myself for the worst, so I called. I spoke with Sam I believe and may I just say she is the sweetest and has a way with soothing you while preparing for this transition. She let me know very clearly how the process works and how much everything goes for and when I had made the decision to help her cross the rainbow bridge they were there to step in and help. They not only took care of her while at the facility but I was able to arrange having them pick her up from the hospital. I went in on a separate day to pick out her grave site which was fast and very clear. From there, we just needed to set her burial date (in which I was given options), It did however need to be rescheduled due to short staff which I did not mind and was completely understanding. Picking out her casket was done outside and so was her burial. I have never seen such a respectful team/staff during all my visits there. She was wheeled off to her grave site and buried while everyone said their condolences. I later received a beautiful note by them. I truly want to thank everyone involved in the process from the people who transported her, to the person who made the most precious paw prints, to the women who helped me pick out her site and casket in the freezing cold , the men who wheeled her to her site and buried her. Thank you for the open line of communication that was kept during the entirety of it all. I will forever be grateful for such a sad but beautiful experience. I had such peace of mind after the whole process thank you for all the support during such a hard time . Now I look forward to seeing my little one every chance I can 🖤

From calling to make an appointment, going in, choosing urns, memorial, to picking up ashes - I cannot say enough thank you to this place. I called Tuesday to make arrangements for my dog on Thursday. Sam answered the phone and she was so kind, understanding of everything that we were going through. After making the appointment, my dog started deteriorating quicker than we expected.. we called again to see if we can come Wed, and Sam was just so kind, was able to talk to the team and fit us in. We went to our vet on Wed morning and drove down to the crematory. We opened the door and Sam was right there in the lobby, explaining everything, showing us options for memorial urns, paw prints, etc. She was very kind and compassionate. We dropped off our dog and was able to pick up his ashes few hours later. This place is definitely highly recommended.

I worked with Charlie, an exemplary professional who provided my pet, Bonnie, with the best possible final care. Charlie's respectful and dignified approach to the entire service was profound and well-respected. As I was tearfully watching, Charlie placed Bonnie's tiny body into the vault with a formal salute, which gave me the peace of mind that she had received the highest level of care. I am confident that Charlie's commitment and dedication to his profession will inspire others to provide compassionate care for pets during their final moments. I am grateful for Hinsdale Pet Cemetery having Charlie and other professionals on their team, which will comfort us during a difficult time.

I know that many people are more attached to their dogs and cats. But for me, I’m a turtle mom. I have 3 turtles, Crush who will soon be 4 years old. Crush who would’ve been 3 years and Franklin (Frankie) who will soon be 7 months. Loosing your pet is horrible no matter what animal. They become part of your family. So when Squirt died I wanted to hold on to her somehow. A burial just seemed to much for me, and it’s a bit far from where we are from. So I went with cremation. And I truly loved their service. Even on the phone they were extremely nice and helpful. When I got there they grabbed her box so carefully and with such love. I knew I had brought her to the right place. A few days later they called and I received her ashes. And they were very nice, asked how I was and everything. It made this process much easier. I am beyond thankful.

Everyone who works here is really a superstar, especially Sabrina who helped me each step of the way, both in person and via email/phone. It brought me a lot of comfort to know that my dog was taken care of so well by everyone here, including Brian who came to pick her up, the two men who performed the burial, Sabrina and the rest of the staff who helped me pick out a plot and take care of the logistics. I honestly believe this place is run more professionally and more respectfully than some funeral homes for humans. 5 stars is not high enough of a rating

Charlie is a great cremationist. Anticipating my needs and he was super respectful and honored my cat who died suddenly, I usually get more time with them. It happened so fast, but Charlie gave me some time to grieve. It's never easy, but he made it the best experience possible

This review is five years overdue...I called ahead and let the people at Hinsdale know that I was planning on personally dropping off our Yorkie, Trigger, to their facility after he was euthanized.When I arrived they were expecting me, and they could tell I needed a little more time alone with him.After being in their grieving room for about 10 minutes or so I asked them if there was a chance that they could perform his cremation while I was still there.Two of the workers conversed with each other and they were able to make the arrangements right then and there. I know I really put them in a spot, I could tell how busy they were, and they were almost to closing time, but they did not rush anything.They had a viewing window so that I could see the cremation if I wanted to. It was helpful for my grieving to be able to witness it, though I know not everyone would feel the same.I wish I could remember the names of the workers that helped me so I could thank them here personally.Truly a top-notch crew here. Thank you for helping me say goodbye the best way possible...

My sweet boy passed 11/25/2020 and I was so heartbroken that it’s still hard to breathe without him, over a month later. This place has been amazing. We chose burial rather than cremation due to the preferences of my other family members, & from the first call to the ceremony to even ordering the headstone, every correspondence with them has been wonderful. We requested a paw print which was gorgeous & clearly done with care. I would recommend Hinsdale Animal Cemetery for everything. We worked with Teresa who is amazing, but they all seem compassionate. This is a heartbreaking process for any of us who’ve lost a beloved animal, but this place will help lay your animal to rest with respect & compassion.

I just received my pet’s ashes back today, it took two weeks exactly to have her back home. I called three times to ask of the status of her and was told that the engraving on the urn pendant was holding her up. I unboxed the pendant and one of the screws that I assume holds her ashes isn’t flush on the heart. It’s obvious that time and quality wasn’t a priority, I’m beyond devastated.

Three of our cats have been privately cremated by Hinsdale over the years; each time, one of our mobile veterinarians made the arrangements with Hinsdale then we picked up the ashes when they were ready. Hinsdale has always had compassion and professionalism, but a light shone on just how wonderful they are when my husband and I had to arrange end-of-life services for our beloved 30-year-old horse. She was everything to us and losing her was unthinkable. We made arrangements with the veterinarian then called Hinsdale. They were wonderfully kind and compassionate from start to end. I was a bit concerned about the pickup of our mare's body. My concern was not warranted. The two men that picked her up were so gentle and careful with her, and treated her with the utmost respect. We asked if it was possible for her to be cremated soon so we could pick her up the following day. They didn't make promises but said they would see what they could do. And indeed, she was ready to come home the following day. Thank you, Hinsdale.

I arrived with my partner for a private viewing of our recently deceased dog. I was quite literally shocked at how carelessly the viewing had been prepared. My dog's dead body on top of a cheap plastic locker with a hammer - yes, a hammer - next to him. A security camera in the corner of the ceiling recording what should be an extremely private moment of grief. We were preoccupied with grief for our lost pet in that moment, but sent an email to the company shortly after, in order to express these grievances. The formal response was essentially excuses, talking about construction of pine coffins requiring hammers and it must have been left out by accident, and that the cameras are there for staff safety (not sure what that means, since the staff leaves the mourners alone in the room during the viewing - can they turn off the camera or tilt the lens away when they leave the room?). No other recourse. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this place when my other pets cross the rainbow bridge.

Our cat Coal lost his battle with cancer recently. He was put to sleep at an animal hospital that used Hindsdale for after care. We filled out our after care request form online after we came home. The website was very easy to use and we had many choices to make to honor our beloved Coal. They delivered his ashes and our other items in about a week back to the animal hospital where he was picked up. Very professionally done. Everything we ordered was very nicely packaged and we were very happy with Hindsdale and their professional staff. They put together a very beautiful tribute to him that put us at ease.

Our family just suffered the terrible and sudden loss of our beloved Flifo who was diagnosed with liver cancer about 3 weeks ago. As any pet owners and their families, our heads were all over the place and all we wanted was to do what was best and give him a proper send off and good-bye. Hinsdale Animal Cemetery offered us with the most exceptional service one can have specially in these difficult times. Their staff was very compassionate and professional with meeting our needs and understanding and respecting our space when it came to leaving our beloved Flifo at their establishment so they can cremate him.We just got back from picking him up, and all we can say is that we are eternally grateful for such a wonderful job and experience Hinsdale provided us with. His urn with his ashes, paw print, and cremation certificate were all very neatly organized in a beautiful bag.Thank you once again Hinsdale, for your support throughout this painful and unfortunate process.

Our beloved Alice passed away at home and we were devastated. Calling Hinsdale and being reassured we would be able to come in even though they were closed that day was very nice. Ashley was so professional and went above and beyond, she truly knows how much our pets mean to us and are a part of our families. I took today off work to go and make arrangements for my beloved pet. They are short staffed due to covid. Understandable. They could not give me a straight answer on really anything except the $1500 to bury my dog. Before I left they told me they could preserve my pet until his burial but they did not know when he would be laid to rest. I said that was fine and let my vet helping him over the rainbow know. I just received a phone call from the person who helped me telling me her boss said they cannot hold him until his burial even though they said they could. I am beyond upset. Before you promise or commit to another pet owner you need to make sure you hold true to your words. Now I have to start over. Do not go here if you want a proper burial for your pet they simple cannot accommodate that.

We lost our fur baby last Friday the 27th of December and to say that we were absolutely devastated would be an understatement. Today, one week later, we received his ashes and paw print. The urn is beautiful, and the paw print is heartwarming, clearly made with exceptional care. I called and left a message about my guinea pig passing. They called me back before they even opened & were able to get me in that day for a private viewing of the cremation. The staff was very kind and the service was great. I was able to spend a few moments with my baby girl before she was cremated. The entire experience was very positive and I am glad that they offer you the choice to be apart of the process. Thank you again for everything.

I was not happy with my experience at this facility. I had my beloved pet put to sleep in our home and the vet deals with the cemetery. I was told they would contact me when my dog was ready to be picked up. Unfortunately that call never came. I finally called and they told me the number they had was wrong and was unable to get a hold of me. ( that was on me as my vet had our house number on file which we disconnected). However, when I questioned the girl at the front desk if they tried to contact the vet to verify the number or see if there was an alternative number that was not done. So my pet was sitting there and they didn’t think to try and get a hold of it’s owner Meanwhile I was worried they lost her or mixed things up. The girl in the front barely answered me. She tried to act compassionate asking something about my pet but then was not listening to my response and fidgeting with things Being in the pet industry myself I expect more. I also had another bad experience years ago where I put a ferret to sleep and had a private cremation and I got more ashes back from my 1 lb ferret than I did from my 8 lb cat. So I question their credibility and will never use them again. I will say the box my dog came in was very pretty. That’s the only reason I gave 2 stars.

Hinsdale Pet was incredibly wonderful in helping me provide a dignified and honorable way for my beloved, 32 year old horse. Not only were they kind and very respectful to me and the situation, they provided excellent service during a heartbreaking time. My horse’s ashes were placed in a beautiful wooden box—far beyond my expectation and truly befitting of my beautiful old companion. Thanks Hinsdale for making this mourning process a little easier.

I have been to Hinsdale Animal Cemetery three times now. Just recently, I experienced a new level of love and care from the kindest person to do this kind of work I have ever seen. Charlie could not have been more loving with his care and utmost gentleness with how he performed every single process. His love for our fury Daughter, Luna, moved us to tears (that is the highest praise I can attempt to describe just how loving Charlie was!)I hope to owner(s) of HAC see this review of Charlie. My Golden Retriever Miracle (camping buddy) who was the world to me unexpectedly passed away at the end of June. I was aware of Hinsdale Pet Cemetery but did not know much about the cost and options.I contacted them the following morning and talked to Chad and from that moment it started on I knew I was dealing with a very nice place. I was very emotional and how understanding and patient Chad was with me. He explained all the details and options of having Miracle cremated and explained how I can bring her in myself. I set up a single cremation. I witnessed the process from a private room and forgive me as I don't recall the young lady's name who was beyond nice with explaining the entire process and was very nice to myself and my wife. They did a great job on her Urn with the engraving. I cant talk enough of this place,if your thinking about doing something special for your loved pet this would be the place.The cost is very reasonable. Staff was Really helpful, friendly and welcoming. My Ball python passed away about a year ago. When we came in they were never judged the fact we were taking in a snake to get cremated. They took the time to pick out an urn that they had. Gave me an my family some time in a private room to process everthing. Made it an option to watch the cremation which we did.Highly recommend this place.

Losing a pet is difficult, they're family! Taking them to Hinsdale Animal Cemetery is only befitting. The entire staff is always gracious, courteous and sincere in all aspects of the process. I can't thank them enough for their help. Bill and Nancy Remkus are tremendous people and treat your pet with the compassion as if it were their own. Having to put my dog down was the hardest decision. To be honest, I was not in the right headspace when it came to her remains, but Sabrina was a saint. She gave me all the information I needed, went above and beyond for my furbabe, and made sure she was back home with me where she belonged. It's been an awful week since we decided to put her down, but Sabrina made the experience better. She even assured me that my girl got some pets from the Hinsdale crew. I cannot thank Sabrina enough for making sure everything went the way it should. I recommend them to anyone having to make a similar decision. They're the best.

First of all,. They are so roud the person who attended me was so cocky and sassy , Ive taken my babies for a private room . They charged me 250 now this time for my third dog she charge me 190 for the private room ,and they had they had the nerve to charge me 150 for ONLY 10 min to be alone w my love one. And she knew I didn't want to leave my dog alone . I understand they want to make money but don't try to make money out of people emotions

Hinsdale Pet Memorials is the best! They run their pet crematorium essentially to human crematorium standards to insure that your beloved pet is treated with the respect you would want. And the presentation of your loved one's remains is really something. They have provided final services for 3 of our beloved dogs over the years and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Horrifying place! My pet was recently buried and it turns out the cemetery has no tombstones. I had the misfortune of working with the most insensitive and hateful individual SAM. She had the audacity to shout at me while I was distraught over my beloved pet trying to get me to purchase one of the tiny remnant slabs that was available. When I told SAM I wanted to select a nice hear shaped tombstone SAM shouted, your pet is dead- this is what we have.” I asked to see the online catalog and she said there was none. I asked to speak to a manager SAM said there was no manager there and that the manager would tell me the same thing.- take the chipped stones that are available. What kind of cemetery does not allow people to order a tombstone? If you are looking to be berated by hateful SAM while you are distraught over your beloved pet - look no further l, she is the most despicable individual I have encountered.

On Thusday April 1st our loving ❤ little boy was lost to jaw cancer. My wife and I were having a little bit of trouble navigating the website to pick out Zach's urn, paw print and cremation style. Eventually I had to call Hinsdale, I want to say Melissa answered the phone. She was a very kind compassionate person. She helped pick the right urn and verifiy we wanted the paw print.And then told me since I selected expedient cremation she would grab Zach as soon as he came in to take care of it. He was home with us by Saturday night. I cannot thank you enough.

My first time ever going thru a loss of a family member. Although there was a mishap from the animal hospital, the urn I received my baby in was absolutely beautiful. I did email and speak to Sam and she was very sweet to even offer to replace my baby’s urn. After I thought about it for a few days, I decided to keep the urn I received my baby in. I did only ask for an updated certificate w/ the correction of our last name and picked it up. Regardless of the hospitals mistake, I’m extremely happy with Hinsdale Animal Cemetery’s service. It brought me a lot of comfort to know that my dog was taken care of so well by everyone here, including Brian who came to pick her up, the two men who performed the burial, Sabrina and the rest of the staff who helped me pick out a plot and take care of the logistics. This review is five years overdue...I called ahead and let the people at Hinsdale know that I was planning on personally dropping off our Yorkie, Trigger, to their facility after he was euthanized.When I arrived they were expecting me, and they could tell I needed a little more time alone with him.After being in their grieving room for about 10 minutes or so I asked them if there was a chance that they could perform his cremation while I was still there.Two of the workers conversed with each other and they were able to make the arrangements right then and there. I know I really put them in a spot, I could tell how busy they were, and they were almost to closing time, but they did not rush anything.They had a viewing window so that I could see the cremation if I wanted to. It was helpful for my grieving to be able to witness it, though I know not everyone would feel the same.I wish I could remember the names of the workers that helped me so I could thank them here personally.Truly a top-notch crew here. Thank you for helping me say goodbye the best way possible...

My sweet boy passed 11/25/2020 and I was so heartbroken that it’s still hard to breathe without him, over a month later. This place has been amazing. We chose burial rather than cremation due to the preferences of my other family members, & from the first call to the ceremony to even ordering the headstone, every correspondence with them has been wonderful. We requested a paw print which was gorgeous & clearly done with care. I would recommend Hinsdale Animal Cemetery for everything. We worked with Teresa who is amazing, but they all seem compassionate. This is a heartbreaking process for any of us who’ve lost a beloved animal, but this place will help lay your animal to rest with respect & compassion.

I just received my pet’s ashes back today, it took two weeks exactly to have her back home. I called three times to ask of the status of her and was told that the engraving on the urn pendant was holding her up. I unboxed the pendant and one of the screws that I assume holds her ashes isn’t flush on the heart. It’s obvious that time and quality wasn’t a priority, I’m beyond devastated.

Three of our cats have been privately cremated by Hinsdale over the years; each time, one of our mobile veterinarians made the arrangements with Hinsdale then we picked up the ashes when they were ready. Hinsdale has always had compassion and professionalism, but a light shone on just how wonderful they are when my husband and I had to arrange end-of-life services for our beloved 30-year-old horse. She was everything to us and losing her was unthinkable. We made arrangements with the veterinarian then called Hinsdale. They were wonderfully kind and compassionate from start to end. I was a bit concerned about the pickup of our mare's body. My concern was not warranted. The two men that picked her up were so gentle and careful with her, and treated her with the utmost respect. We asked if it was possible for her to be cremated soon so we could pick her up the following day. They didn't make promises but said they would see what they could do. And indeed, she was ready to come home the following day. Thank you, Hinsdale.

I arrived with my partner for a private viewing of our recently deceased dog. I was quite literally shocked at how carelessly the viewing had been prepared. My dog's dead body on top of a cheap plastic locker with a hammer - yes, a hammer - next to him. A security camera in the corner of the ceiling recording what should be an extremely private moment of grief. We were preoccupied with grief for our lost pet in that moment, but sent an email to the company shortly after, in order to express these grievances. The formal response was essentially excuses, talking about construction of pine coffins requiring hammers and it must have been left out by accident, and that the cameras are there for staff safety (not sure what that means, since the staff leaves the mourners alone in the room during the viewing - can they turn off the camera or tilt the lens away when they leave the room?). No other recourse. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this place when my other pets cross the rainbow bridge.

Our cat Coal lost his battle with cancer recently. He was put to sleep at an animal hospital that used Hindsdale for after care. We filled out our after care request form online after we came home. The website was very easy to use and we had many choices to make to honor our beloved Coal. They delivered his ashes and our other items in about a week back to the animal hospital where he was picked up. Very professionally done. Everything we ordered was very nicely packaged and we were very happy with Hindsdale and their professional staff. They put together a very beautiful tribute to him that put us at ease.

I was rather shocked by the aloofness of the staff I thought there would be a more welcoming compassionate attitude. I expected an I'm sorry for your loss but that never came. I realize this has to be a very hard business to be in especially if you're an animal lover. I understand that you cannot have your emotions open all the time or you would never be able to do this. This was just a business transaction for them and such an emotional event for me. Please, please consider at least saying I am sorry for your loss. These few words mean so much.

I lost my 13 year old pup on Friday 6/16/2021. One of the worst days of my life and I have a hole in my heart without him. My son and I picked up his ashes and some keepsakes yesterday. The box everything was packed in was so beautifully done. The thoughtfulness of this place with all the sweet touches such as pawprint little bags, a poem with your pup's name on it, a cremation certificate, his name on his beautiful pawprint, the necklace with pawprints on it, the engraved bamboo box his ashes were in. My service dog passed away. Plans were made at vet's office to cremation. Hinsdale let my wonderful pet lay somewhere for a week. Called them 6 days after my dog passed asking where are her ashes. They told me I could pick them up at vet's office the next day. Then stuff her ashes in a cheap plastic container that didn't even close. This is not what I expected for $450.00. Wrote them & got NO RESPONSE. UNCARING!!!

Preplan and last minute needs met.Side note the burial grounds are deeply moving and highly recommend, I believe the land is marked are historical thus cannot be built over, your furry buddy can rest among friends

Although this is a place I wish I never had to visit, the service I received was great. The man who helped us was very professional, and never tried to push additional sales on us or anything like that. The cost was reasonable as well. We chose a private creamation, and they had our boys ashes ready for us to pick up in under 24 hours. I would definetly recommend Hinsdale Animal Cemetery to anyone in need of these services.

Make sure you get a confirmation. I was told the animal hospital didn't forward my email address so why didn't Hinsdale ask for it! . I was distraught over losing my dog, so I shut the computer down. I didn't get a confirmation so I didn't receive my Lola's paw prints. I was really upset!!

Beautiful , peaceful resting place for your pets. They will pick up your animal from the vet and take them to the cemetary, have a wake give you time with them and lay them to rest. Many animals from the early 1900' s to today. Our family just suffered the terrible and sudden loss of our beloved Flifo who was diagnosed with liver cancer about 3 weeks ago. Our beloved Alice passed away at home and we were devastated. Calling Hinsdale and being reassured we would be able to come in even though they were closed that day was very nice. I took today off work to go and make arrangements for my beloved pet. They are short staffed due to covid. Understandable. They could not give me a straight answer on really anything except the $1500 to bury my dog. Before I left they told me they could preserve my pet until his burial but they did not know when he would be laid to rest. I said that was fine and let my vet helping him over the rainbow know. I just received a phone call from the person who helped me telling me her boss said they cannot hold him until his burial even though they said they could. I am beyond upset. Before you promise or commit to another pet owner you need to make sure you hold true to your words. Now I have to start over. Do not go here if you want a proper burial for your pet they simple cannot accommodate that.

We lost our fur baby last Friday the 27th of December and to say that we were absolutely devastated would be an understatement. Today, one week later, we received his ashes and paw print. The urn is beautiful, and the paw print is heartwarming, clearly made with exceptional care. I called and left a message about my guinea pig passing. They called me back before they even opened & were able to get me in that day for a private viewing of the cremation. The staff was very kind and the service was great. I was able to spend a few moments with my baby girl before she was cremated. I was not happy with my experience at this facility. I had my beloved pet put to sleep in our home and the vet deals with the cemetery. I was told they would contact me when my dog was ready to be picked up. Unfortunately that call never came. I finally called and they told me the number they had was wrong and was unable to get a hold of me. ( that was on me as my vet had our house number on file which we disconnected). However, when I questioned the girl at the front desk if they tried to contact the vet to verify the number or see if there was an alternative number that was not done. So my pet was sitting there and they didn’t think to try and get a hold of it’s owner Meanwhile I was worried they lost her or mixed things up. The girl in the front barely answered me. She tried to act compassionate asking something about my pet but then was not listening to my response and fidgeting with things Being in the pet industry myself I expect more. I also had another bad experience years ago where I put a ferret to sleep and had a private cremation and I got more ashes back from my 1 lb ferret than I did from my 8 lb cat. So I question their credibility and will never use them again. I will say the box my dog came in was very pretty. That’s the only reason I gave 2 stars.

Hinsdale Pet was incredibly wonderful in helping me provide a dignified and honorable way for my beloved, 32 year old horse. Not only were they kind and very respectful to me and the situation, they provided excellent service during a heartbreaking time. Charlie could not have been more loving with his care and utmost gentleness with how he performed every single process. My Golden Retriever Miracle (camping buddy) who was the world to me unexpectedly passed away at the end of June. I was aware of Hinsdale Pet Cemetery but did not know much about the cost and options.I contacted them the following morning and talked to Chad and from that moment it started on I knew I was dealing with a very nice place. I was very emotional and how understanding and patient Chad was with me. He explained all the details and options of having Miracle cremated and explained how I can bring her in myself. I set up a single cremation. I witnessed the process from a private room and forgive me as I don't recall the young lady's name who was beyond nice with explaining the entire process and was very nice to myself and my wife. They did a great job on her Urn with the engraving. I cant talk enough of this place,if your thinking about doing something special for your loved pet this would be the place.The cost is very reasonable. Staff was Really helpful, friendly and welcoming. My Ball python passed away about a year ago. When we came in they were never judged the fact we were taking in a snake to get cremated. They took the time to pick out an urn that they had. Gave me an my family some time in a private room to process everthing. Made it an option to watch the cremation which we did.Highly recommend this place.

Having to put my dog down was the hardest decision. To be honest, I was not in the right headspace when it came to her remains, but Sabrina was a saint. She gave me all the information I needed, went above and beyond for my furbabe, and made sure she was back home with me where she belonged. It's been an awful week since we decided to put her down, but Sabrina made the experience better. She even assured me that my girl got some pets from the Hinsdale crew. I cannot thank Sabrina enough for making sure everything went the way it should. I recommend them to anyone having to make a similar decision. They're the best.

First of all,. They are so roud the person who attended me was so cocky and sassy , Ive taken my babies for a private room . They charged me 250 now this time for my third dog she charge me 190 for the private room ,and they had they had the nerve to charge me 150 for ONLY 10 min to be alone w my love one. And she knew I didn't want to leave my dog alone . I understand they want to make money but don't try to make money out of people emotions

Hinsdale Pet Memorials is the best! They run their pet crematorium essentially to human crematorium standards to insure that your beloved pet is treated with the respect you would want. And the presentation of your loved one's remains is really something. They have provided final services for 3 of our beloved dogs over the years and I can't recommend them highly enough.

Horrifying place! My pet was recently buried and it turns out the cemetery has no tombstones. I had the misfortune of working with the most insensitive and hateful individual SAM. She had the audacity to shout at me while I was distraught over my beloved pet trying to get me to purchase one of the tiny remnant slabs that was available. When I told SAM I wanted to select a nice hear shaped tombstone SAM shouted, your pet is dead- this is what we have.” I asked to see the online catalog and she said there was none. I asked to speak to a manager SAM said there was no manager there and that the manager would tell me the same thing.- take the chipped stones that are available. What kind of cemetery does not allow people to order a tombstone? If you are looking to be berated by hateful SAM while you are distraught over your beloved pet - look no further l, she is the most despicable individual I have encountered.

On Thusday April 1st our loving ❤ little boy was lost to jaw cancer. My wife and I were having a little bit of trouble navigating the website to pick out Zach's urn, paw print and cremation style. Eventually I had to call Hinsdale, I want to say Melissa answered the phone. She was a very kind compassionate person. She helped pick the right urn and verifiy we wanted the paw print.And then told me since I selected expedient cremation she would grab Zach as soon as he came in to take care of it. My first time ever going thru a loss of a family member. Although there was a mishap from the animal hospital, the urn I received my baby in was absolutely beautiful. I did email and speak to Sam and she was very sweet to even offer to replace my baby’s urn. After I thought about it for a few days, I decided to keep the urn I received my baby in. I did only ask for an updated certificate w/ the correction of our last name and picked it up. Regardless of the hospitals mistake, I’m extremely happy with Hinsdale Animal Cemetery’s service. Although this is a place I wish I never had to visit, the service I received was great. The man who helped us was very professional, and never tried to push additional sales on us or anything like that. The cost was reasonable as well. We chose a private creamation, and they had our boys ashes ready for us to pick up in under 24 hours. I would definetly recommend Hinsdale Animal Cemetery to anyone in need of these services.

I just lost my cat whom I hold so dear to my heart. From start to finishing Hinsdale was amazing. I love the staff, John, Chad, Sam and Theresa are all amazing. Everyone is amazing that works there however those are the ones I have personally talked to. Thanks for getting my Shaders back to me so quickly. You guys are much appreciated.

Make sure you get a confirmation. I was told the animal hospital didn't forward my email address so why didn't Hinsdale ask for it! . I was distraught over losing my dog, so I shut the computer down. I didn't get a confirmation so I didn't receive my Lola's paw prints. I was really upset!!

My cat Angel died abruptly after a long previously healthy life. Although he was very old, his death was still unexpected and floored me. Even as I write this now months later, tears still come to my eyes. I went to this fine establishment, and could not have been treated with anymore kindness, respect or compassion. What was one of the saddest moments of my life was soothed by this business, and I am eternally grateful for the service they provided me in remembering my loved one.-Peter Fusek

Beautiful , peaceful resting place for your pets. They will pick up your animal from the vet and take them to the cemetary, have a wake give you time with them and lay them to rest. Many animals from the early 1900' s to today. Give your family and children a wonderful place to put your pet where you can visit and know they will be taken care of with the same love and care we give to our own family members.

Last year January 19th 2019. I picked my dear Rambo's ash's. I adopted him at 3 months old and he gave me 13.5 years. The staff is super friendly. I highly recommend them.

I've lost 3 beloved dogs in the past year... and 2 of them have actually been within the last month and a half. The whole Remkus family and their staff tends to treat all the beloved deceased pets and mourning owners as if they were a member of their own family.... with love, dignity, and respect. This is the best place to go when you and your family have a lose of a pet. The cemetary grounds are beautiful and very peaceful...the services are done well an very reliable. I cannot recommend this place enough...unfortunately we have had to visit it a couple times but would never never go anywhere else.
