I’d give 10 stars if I could. I had a situation that occurred on a Sunday. They had an emergency number and I was helped with the most sincere and kind man. He met us at the cemetery ready to help us. He was so kind, caring and compassionate as the whole situation was still so hard for us to comprehend. He let us have as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our loved and so missed Ellie Mae. They are awesome!

I’d like to start by saying we initially chose Kozy Acres because of the exceptional, compassionate service we received a few years ago. An older, kind gentleman took care of us, and his empathy made a lasting impression. However, it seems things may have changed. When we recently lost our beloved pet, I called to make arrangements and was met with a lack of sympathy from the woman on the other end of the line. There was no acknowledgment of our loss, no “I’m so sorry,” and the conversation felt entirely transactional. When we arrived to pick up our pet’s remains, the lack of compassion continued. Despite my tears, there was still no expression of sympathy, not even a simple “I’m sorry for your loss.” It was deeply disappointing, especially from a business that specializes in helping people through such difficult moments.Losing a pet is heart-wrenching, and sympathy in these moments goes a long way. I would kindly urge you to show more kindness and understanding to grieving pet parents. Please consider making improvements in this area for the sake of others who are facing the same heartache.

Choose this place. The grounds are beautiful. The people were kind and accommodating. Your pet will be safe forever....................................................I lost by 100lb old dog Friday night and called several places Saturday morning. I was told so many disturbing things... he was too big, I should cremate him.... they could consult on Wednesday.... in 3 years they will bury another animal on top of him... I was a MESS!!!! Kozy Acres was further south than I wanted to go but they stayed open for me to drive the 1hr40min, kept my boy safe until the hole could be dug, and gave us a lovely buriel. His head stone was placed a few weeks later. They communicated well. They talked me through everything. Prices were so reasonable. You pay a one time maintenance fee and the land will be there forever. I cannot thank them enough for making the worst days of my life just a little easier.

Unfortunately we lost our 5lb Pomeranian. Casey met me at Kozy Acres within 40min to receive Pixie after hours. He also setup a viewing for my wife and kids to come and say goodbye, and setup her cremation. He was very respectful and understanding along the way. This was a very emotional time for our whole family and the way Casey handled it definitely made it easier to deal with. I am definitely glad I called Kozy and would 100% recommend their business to others who unfortunately may need it.
