We've had a number of dogs that needed this service. We bred and showed Airedale terriers for 30 years, and did Airedale Rescue as well. Now we have just pets. You will not believe the price difference between the vet's price and this price. When you have 12 Adult dogs and a litter of puppies you have to find what works the best. These people are wonderful. No middleman. If you have the stomach for it, it's a great service. They’ve seen me cry, a lot. They are always very respectful. Tell your vet it'll be taken care of.

Our beloved Max was returned to us with a beautiful Urn and a letter of condolences from Pets at Peace. They assured me he was cared for n treated with the utmost respect of a beloved pet. They are our family member n loyal companion forever in our hearts. Thank you for caring for our Max.

I don’t know why it’s taking me this long to write a review. I always mean to after every time, however in trying so hard to deal with every goodbye…well, you know. :(I honestly could not possibly ask for and find a better place and people than Pets At Peace. I also believe that the drive there after the fact, for me, is a big part of my healing process.Not everybody can drive after something like this, but I guess I’m just the kind of person that’s numb for a while. Still, the drive for me was part of the healing process every time, and I have always needed that.Again, I hope that Pets at Peace never stops doing what they’re doing because I could not ask for more caring, kind, compassionate and trustworthy people to take care of my little family members that go way too soon for myEven if I moved out of state, I would still make the trip to Pets At Peace ; honestly, it’s not just the Pets At Peace, they give me peace as well knowing my fur babies are all treated with respect and care.Honestly, with all my heart, this is definitely where you want to go to have your closure. So peaceful.Thank you Pets at Peace for being the people you are! 💛🤍For all, I know I’ve already written a review and this will be the second one, I have a issue with forgetting things. The reason why I write this is because I have friends that are saying goodbye to 15-year-old fur-baby and they needed recommendations and I told him everything I’m saying right here. And they have made the choice to make the trip to Pets At Peace for proper, peaceful closure.Caring thoughts and peace to all of you and your babies.

Literally just called and talked to the rudest most uncompasstionate lady ever. My cat passed away on my couch 2 hours ago and I called for pricing and you would think being in the line of work she's in she would show more compassion to someone mourning the loss of their fur baby. I would not recommend this place just over a simple cold hearted phone call.

This review comes from someone who lost the love of their life, on February 5th, 2016.It is now April 30th, 2022.And I have opened my Demeter’s sleeve for the first time, only to discover that the canine love of my life’s name, has been spelled incorrectly.And her box has not been cleaned.I have never gone from a huge smile, to uncontrollably ugly crying, so quickly in my life.And I’ve been in a mental ward before.Not ONE letter wrong. But TWO!Pets at Peace, Hampshire, IL, making a typo, on a dead dog’s ashes.And I couldn’t be more grateful for a typo in my life.I now live in the desert, practically the opposite side of the country, so the only way I knew to let people know of this mistake, was, well, the internet. And thanks to said internet, an angel reached out to me. Denise reached out, and made it her personal mission to ensure this was made right for myself, and for Demi. She offered to redo everything for me, from the paperwork, to upgrading her white plastic box into a copper urn, when I would’ve just been happy with a new sticker to place on her box. For context, my Demi got bone cancer and was put down six years ago—their system doesn’t go back that far! So, while it wasn’t her mistake that was made, it was her that was going to fix it.Each canine soul is personal for Pets at Peace, especially for Denise.After so long, I didn’t think there was a chance, but if there’s one person you can count on to take care of your pets in their final moments, or even six years after their passing, it’s Denise Hoopes.Will update one more time, when Demi’s copper box arrives! <35/19FINAL UPDATE: Denise Hoopes is an angel. She redid EVERYTHING for me, and for Demeter. This is how your pet should always be treated. And if there’s anyone at P@P Hampshire, IL that can make a tragic loss hurt just a little less, it’s Denise. Now, my Demi outshines all her passed family members in an absolutely stunning copper octagon. I couldn’t bring myself to open her bag to put the ashes in, but that’s okay! I am really appreciative of the personal condolence letter they gave. A lot of people don’t feel as deeply for animals as others and losing my cat so unexpectedly shattered me I haven’t heard a lot of condolences so that meant a lot to me. As well as the clarification that my Mosah was handled respectfully 🤍 thank you guys so much.

Words cannot express how grateful I am to Pets At Peace Crematory. Nearly 3 weeks ago, my fiancé, and I lost our beloved Skylar unexpectedly. She was about to be 8 years old on 29th April. Having her since she was only 3 months old, it’s been hard, not having her around. When she unexpectedly passed, I called the people I knew I could trust. I worked at an animal hospital for nearly 7 years and have worked with Pets At Peace on a professional level. I have brought multiple family members pets personally to them because I knew how great they were to their pets. I didn’t think I would have to be bringing my personal pet to them that soon but, I am sure glad I did. When I had initially called, it was after hours. Denise called me, even though they were closed. She scheduled a time with me right away to drop her off the next day. The process of dropping her off was the best closure I could get. Denise was so kind and caring. Is this one is probably one of the hardest things for me to do. I was panicked that I needed to rush and choose an urn the best suited our girl, Denise assured me to wait. During something like this, we all make decisions that sometimes we wish we could change. By having the standard urn which is gorgeous I am able to change her later on. After talking with Denise for a while, she also suggested different ways I could do things with her ashes. She never made it to our wedding day, but a company she recommended makes these gorgeous rings. I know she will be there in a different way, but it’s the comfort of being able to remember her in a beautiful way. When it came to picking her up, Denise reached out to us the day after Easter, which was less than a week after dropping her off. She was ready to come home. Opening the box and seeing her urn gave us exactly what needed. I am so beyond grateful to everyone that works there and does this job. With everything you do means the world to people like us who have lost a pet they loved. I want to say a special thank you to Denise for all your kind words and comfort during that difficult time. Skylar is now home and we can look at her beautiful urn every day, and remember all the great memories we had of her. We are eternally grateful to you all.Thank you!❤️🌈Sophia S. & Chase T.

I guess this is my dog since the tags match. The paw prints are nice. I have no idea when my dog was cremated. The other place that my old vet uses has a date on every pet that I have cremated. It took over two weeks to get him back. I am not a fan of the urn but that is just me. I am just glad that he is home with me.

It has taken me almost 2 years to be able to say thank you. Our boy Zeke was loved so much and we still miss him every day. When we got his remains we also received a very kind sympathy letter and a certificate of cremation stating that he was handled with dignity. Your kindness was, and is, very much appreciated. They handled my beloved dogs cremation with so much respect and got him back to me so quickly, they even included a personal note of condolences. Its never a job anyone wants to handle, but this company did a wonderful job with my little man!

My beloved Roxy was sent here through my Vet because I had no idea where to turn. I was devastated when I lost her after 12 years of loyal companionship. She was returned to me a couple of weeks later in a beautifully hand made box with her name on top and I also received her delicate little footprint preserved in clay forever. Thankyou so much!!!!

It's never easy, especially if you are guilt ridden that your pet was in pain before passing. Denise was kind, compassionate, and professional, both at drop off and pick up.With the remains was a letter. By now, it's just a template with the name plugged in, but it is a letter from the heart. When you read it, it's almost like a giant hug.Thank you for your kidness, for the container you put her in.
