Jason at Baker McCullough funeral home comforted us during our time of loss. He took good care of my husband by cutting his hair and making him look ten years younger. The cemetery was too flooded for burial. Jason took care of my husband and kept the flowers alive until we were able to lay him to rest weeks later. We recently used Baker McCullough to handle our arrangements for our loved one. I would highly recommend this funeral home and the amazing owner and staff to help you with arrangements and help you during the process of your loved one’s passing. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and treated us professionally but in the way of making us feel like we were family. This home not once make us feel uncomfortable or uneasy about them taking care of our loved one. They were definitely NOT pushy on what or how we should or needed to do.When everything was taken care of, they have even called and messaged me a couple times after a couple weeks of her passing to check on us and make sure we were ok and if we needed anything. I would highly recommend Baker McCullough to all my friends and family. They were so gracious and helpful to me during the passing of my Mom. We had just talked to them the week before about moving her service to them from Baker Funeral Home in Savannah. Little did we realize a week later they would be picking her up. Jason McCullough and the staff are extremely wonderful. They were caring and helpful with planning my mom's funeral. Jason explained everything to us and took care of everything. Jason and staff took care of all my mom's funeral arrangements just like she was their own mom. To date, I still get calls and text from his staff Grace checking in on me and making sure I am okay and they are always there when I need someone to talk to. From the very first day that I called Baker McCullough Funeral home they have treated my family as their own. Any questions I had from where my deceased family member was, transportation, cremation vs interment- Jason McCullough was there every step of the way day and night. Baker McCullough has buried nearly every member of my family. Unfortunately, I had to put my daughter to rest with them April 14, 2024. They are extremely good at what they do. They have great attention to detail. They help you through the entire process even after all the payments snd services are complete. They answer EVERY question snd concern and do what they say they are going to do, EVERY TIME. They always answer the call and go above and beyond expectations. I would not trust another funeral home as much as I trust them to put my loved ones to rest.

My family has used Baker McCullough funeral home for years. The first thing that stands out the most to me when I think of Baker McCullough is their compassion. They are very professional but also very compassionate and committed in taking care of you. They ask you what you want for yourself or your loved one. They don’t push services on you. They check up on you afterwards to make sure you are ok or need to talk. I love all of them! I could not fathom any other place for when it’s my time. I see where they offer cremation for pets now and I will be using them for my furbabies when they need to go to rainbow bridge .

It's very hard when you lose a loved one and planning a funeral can be very overwhelming. Baker McCullough Funeral Home helped us thru it 11 years ago with my Mother-In-Law and then again last month with my Father-In-Law. (March 2024) They are there for you every step of the way and don't pressure you into anything. Roger & I explained to Ms. Jennifer what we wanted and that's exactly what she did. Everything was perfect. It was a beautiful funeral at the church and at the cemetery. Even a few weeks after a lady named Grace reached out to us just to check on us and make sure everything was ok. Everyone we spoke with at the funeral home was very nice. I would recommend them to anyone in need of these services. They really got us thru this difficult time. This is the funeral home that I will always use for my needs. Jason McCullough goes above and beyond to help ease the difficult decisions you have to make for your loved ones. He does as much of the work as he can for you so you don’t have to think about it. He does an amazing job on the video as well for the service! Also, his staff are very friendly and helpful at the time of viewing and service. My family has used Baker McCullough funeral home for years. The first thing that stands out the most to me when I think of Baker McCullough is their compassion. They are very professional but also very compassionate and committed in taking care of you. They ask you what you want for yourself or your loved one. They don’t push services on you. They check up on you afterwards to make sure you are ok or need to talk. I love all of them! I could not fathom any other place for when it’s my time. I see where they offer cremation for pets now and I will be using them for my furbabies when they need to go to rainbow bridge .

My 24 yr old son died unexpectedly on 8/13/23. I was so devastated I did not even know where to begin. I asked the coroner to use Baker McCullough on Hwy 80 for two reasons; it was closer to my home and my father's services were done there five years ago. Jason, called me and walked my husband and I through everything we needed to do. It was like talking to a family member. I cannot explain the comfort that my husband and I had knowing that our baby was being cared for by someone as loving and concerned as they were. I request a lock of my sons hair and a handprint in a cermamic cast. Even though I sure the handprint was not an easy task, Jason never blinked when I asked him to make it for me. He even gave me a didgital copy of my sons fingerprint. They gave us the time we needed to be with our son without rushing us. Jason and his staff called us and checked on us through the week of the service and even over a month and a half later they still text to see how we are doing. The slide show he made for me to keep of my son, I will always treasure. Not that I cared about the cost, but the funeral.was almost the same price as my Dad's that was over five years ago. You can tell by talking with them that all they care about is taking care of you family member and honoring them in the best possible way. It's very hard when you lose a loved one and planning a funeral can be very overwhelming. Baker McCullough Funeral Home helped us thru it 11 years ago with my Mother-In-Law and then again last month with my Father-In-Law. (March 2024) They are there for you every step of the way and don't pressure you into anything. Roger & I explained to Ms. Jennifer what we wanted and that's exactly what she did. Everything was perfect. It was a beautiful funeral at the church and at the cemetery. Even a few weeks after a lady named Grace reached out to us just to check on us and make sure everything was ok. Although it was an extremely difficult time for our family, the staff at Baker McCullough gave our loved one a beautiful send off. Jason took care of all of our requests without missing a beat. Jason McCullough is by far THE most professional man I have ever met in my lifetime- and I work in hospitality. After hearing the doctors say that our mother was seriously ill, we decided to be proactive and reach out a couple funeral homes in the area. We aren’t originally from Georgia so we have no idea where to start. So we turned to google and there it was: Baker McCullough Funeral Home. After one phone call we decided to go in and meet with the staff in person. When we arrived, Jason greeted us at the door and offered us a beverage of our choice. There was also hand sanitizer and masks available at the front desk which really made us feel safe in these COVID times . Jason then took us on a tour of the facility while he explain what would happen in each of the spaces they had available and then we settled into the conference room. He was very attentive, very knowledgeable, comforting, and easy to understand. He wasn’t pushy....he wasn’t trying to sell us on the home.....but given his professionalism we were hooked. We left with a wealth of knowledge and comforted that if something happened, our mother would be in good hands. He explained all the documentation that we would need to provide, the application process for death certificates in GA, and even how the insurance claims processed worked. We felt comfortable that if we selected services with them, Jason would be handling all the paperwork which would release us of that burden of trying to deal with those things while grieving.Later that evening our mother passed away. I got right on the phone with the home and Jason promptly replied. It was very unfortunate that we needed to use their services but I am glad that it was a journey we took with them because the service, professionalism, and compassion that Jason showed never wavered from the day we met.I can personally say that losing a loved one is one of the most challenging, difficult, and painful experiences that a person can ever go through but if you choose Baker McCullough you will have the comfort of knowing that they will treat your family like their family. For that, we are forever in their debt.Thank you Jason McCullough- you are the embodiment of compassion, strength, and professionalism.

One word sums up my experience with Baker McCullough when my father passed: beautiful. Jason did an amazing job and his patience was inspiring. We weren’t sure how well dad would look, as he had been sick a long time, and they made daddy look better than he did in last days. Being able to see him like that is helping me find peace. I feared seeing him in a casket but the time and effort they had was such a gift, even before the service. When we sat down to discuss plans, the day after daddy passed, and Jason said he had already trimmed daddy’s mustache and beard (daddy had struggled with that in his last months) I knew we had found the perfect place and that my dad would be very well taken care of... thank you all so much!

The people were true professionals all the way through our process of saying goodbye to our mother and completing the final needs mother had on this earth. Jason we spoke the most and he listened and made all our requests happen.Several years ago we had met with the fine people at Baker McMullough and had make plans in advance for both our mother and father, doing so when it was time to make final decisions most was already done. When a family member passes, it is always a difficult time. I happened to have both my mother and father pass within 6 months of each other. My father passed first, and Jason McCullough at Baker McCullough was not only considerate, but he was very kind. They removed my father with dignity from the Veterans Victory House in Walterboro, SC with honors. As my parents had prepaid for their funeral in FL, Jason was able to transfer all of their prearrangements directly to SC for us all the way to the specific urn that they wanted. He actually drove all the way to Brunswick to pick the specific urn up. When mom passed, it was like Jason and I were longtime friends. The staff handled mom with care and dignity. I can't say enough about this funeral home. I'm just so thankful that Jason at Baker McCullough handled both of my parents remains. I've worked in the service industry like one of the reviewers and Jason is what someone in that industry should strive to be like.We live in the triangle area of NC. My father in-law moved up from Savannah to live with us after my husband's mother died. We knew he wanted to be back with family and our first panic was how do we get him back down, especially during this time of pandemic. Jason handled my mother-in-law's funeral and he took over handling everything from transporting my father-in-law down to Savannah to helping us find a burial plot so he could be close to his family. Jason McCullough is by far THE most professional man I have ever met in my lifetime- and I work in hospitality. After hearing the doctors say that our mother was seriously ill, we decided to be proactive and reach out a couple funeral homes in the area. We aren’t originally from Georgia so we have no idea where to start. So we turned to google and there it was: Baker McCullough Funeral Home. After one phone call we decided to go in and meet with the staff in person. When we arrived, Jason greeted us at the door and offered us a beverage of our choice. There was also hand sanitizer and masks available at the front desk which really made us feel safe in these COVID times . Jason then took us on a tour of the facility while he explain what would happen in each of the spaces they had available and then we settled into the conference room. He was very attentive, very knowledgeable, comforting, and easy to understand. He wasn’t pushy....he wasn’t trying to sell us on the home.....but given his professionalism we were hooked. We left with a wealth of knowledge and comforted that if something happened, our mother would be in good hands. He explained all the documentation that we would need to provide, the application process for death certificates in GA, and even how the insurance claims processed worked. We felt comfortable that if we selected services with them, Jason would be handling all the paperwork which would release us of that burden of trying to deal with those things while grieving.Later that evening our mother passed away. I got right on the phone with the home and Jason promptly replied. It was very unfortunate that we needed to use their services but I am glad that it was a journey we took with them because the service, professionalism, and compassion that Jason showed never wavered from the day we met.I can personally say that losing a loved one is one of the most challenging, difficult, and painful experiences that a person can ever go through but if you choose Baker McCullough you will have the comfort of knowing that they will treat your family like their family. For that, we are forever in their debt.Thank you Jason McCullough- you are the embodiment of compassion, strength, and professionalism.

One word sums up my experience with Baker McCullough when my father passed: beautiful. Jason did an amazing job and his patience was inspiring. We weren’t sure how well dad would look, as he had been sick a long time, and they made daddy look better than he did in last days. Being able to see him like that is helping me find peace. I feared seeing him in a casket but the time and effort they had was such a gift, even before the service. When we sat down to discuss plans, the day after daddy passed, and Jason said he had already trimmed daddy’s mustache and beard (daddy had struggled with that in his last months) I knew we had found the perfect place and that my dad would be very well taken care of... thank you all so much!
