Customer Reviews Summary
Paws, Whiskers & Wags is highly praised for their compassionate service and respectful handling of pets during a difficult time. Many customers appreciated the transparent pricing, quick turnaround for ashes, and the beautiful keepsakes provided. However, there are some concerns regarding communication issues and the quality of urn options, with some customers feeling misled about the complimentary urns and experiencing delays in service.

No one ever wants to have to make a decision to use a service like this, but I am absolutely blown away by how wonderful I have been treated throughout this entire experience. Everyone I spoke to before, during, and after was so thoughtful and kind. Communication was fantastic. Dr. Ashley and I shared some laughs on the day of and so many tears. She showed so much respect to my sweet boy, Watson. I was so thankful to have her come to our happiest place to finish our story together. I was thankful for how informative she was about the process, collecting his paw print, saving some of his fur, the candle, and the beautiful literature she gave me that day. Picking my boy up after cremation was a very respectful process. He was in a beautiful custom box and I was given time alone with him. I was thankful for the grief resources and follow up. I have attended one grief counseling session so far and plan on another. I am so fortunate that during such a difficult time, a company could be so compassionate.

I am beyond grateful for the overall experience I received in the hands of Paws, Whiskers & Wags. Adonus was kind enough to help me throughout the process and patient when I first walked in. I couldn’t be more in awe of the rabbit urn I picked for my sweet Toby. They were quick and responsive, and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who’s looking to have their sweet fur baby be cremated🪽✨.

This team was so compassionate and intentional in assisting during my time of grief over my beloved dog. Everyone I talked to was kind and informative. Reasonable pricing and beautiful keepsakes to remember my fur baby, and thoughtful and transparent communication about her whereabouts from the vet’s office to the crematorium and back. I am deeply grateful for PW&W for their meaningful ways to honor and remember my beloved companion.

Dr. Carol Tobias, the Nathans Ark Mobile Vet veterinarian, seems to derive perverse satisfaction from withholding critical advice and professional services you desperately need for your sick animal. Despite responding to my many emails over the weekend, she intentionally provides only partial answers to your repeated questions, leaving you trapped in a vortex of hopelessness and sorrow that she appears to savor.I had simply requested a veterinarian to come to my home and humanely euthanize my sick pet chicken. Despite sending multiple emails over the weekend inquiring if she could perform the procedure if necessary, the vet never responded to my request. Instead, she suggested I get a second opinion and provided me with a price list for her services. However, the vet then failed to respond back for the 11 a.m. appointment, offering an excuse later in the day as I waited for her, and stating only then that she was unable to euthanize a pet, even though her website advertised home euthanasia services. This left me to find an alternative way to end my sick bird's suffering.Unfortunately, I am not the only one who has had a negative experience with this veterinarian.Paws, Whiskers & Wags has this veterinarian listed under Mobile Euthanasia Vets in Atlanta, GA.

Very respectful and fast service. I did not take full advantage, but they offer many free services to help you through the situation. The people who I spoke with were all extremely empathetic and kind.

Paws, Whiskers & Wags was very good to us during a difficult time when we had to let our 13 year old golden retriever, Radar, cross the rainbow bridge. From the gentleman who answered the phone, to the young lady who picked up our sweet boy and the young man who assisted us when we went to retrieve Radar's ashes, all the employees we encountered were just terrific. I highly recommend this pet crematory -- they truly care!

Paws, whiskers and Wags helped my family go through the grieving process of the loss of our beloved 6yr old Yorkie Trixie passed away yesterday. As her transition was unexpected they helped my family tremendously as this was a really heavy loss. I want to thank them for giving us a private funeral to tell our beloved Trixie how much she meant to us and that we love her dearly.

I lost my beloved pitt terrier Angel in a matter of 4 hours. I was torn to pieces and she was at Saint Francis Pet Hospital up the road. Saint Francis gave me 48 hours to figure if I wanted to cremate her there or find other services. I called PW&W and I was able to do everything the same day. Got my baby Angel taken care of and received her paw prints back, a lock of her fur, and some very nice momentums given the package I chose. Would highly recommend.

Losing a furry family member is always so incredibly hard. Everyone we worked with at Paws, Whiskers & Wags was compassionate, friendly and helpful. While I wish no one had to suffer this grief, Paws, Whiskers & Wags helps dealing with the immediate needs and provides lasting keepsakes.

Would be giving 5 stars if the pick up experience weren't so sour. As I arrived a man greeted me, asked what I was here for, then shuffled me into a side room and shut the door and disappeared without a word. I realize he probably wanted me to see all the urns for sale on the wall and buy something else. 10 minutes passed and an employee noticed me and asked if i had been helped, it took her a few minutes to get my pets remains and I was on my way. She was very kind but that was a bothersome experience.

My cat died Monday before I could even have a chance to have her put down. She had Felv and didn’t know if she had it for awhile. I’m still sad that I no longer have her by my side. But Paws, Whiskers, and Wags made saying goodbye a little better. I was given the chance to have some of her fur as well as her paw print and a cute urn to have her ashes in.

We were so pleased with the service that we received from Paws Whiskers and Wags. The care they took with our Bella was so needed during such a hard time. Bella was 17 and a beloved member of our family and to know that she was loved and taken care of after she passed was a great relief. The staff called and followed up with us several times to see if we needed anything, and Bella was returned to us quickly and with lovely mementos of her. We love the pawprint and photo frame. It has a special place along with her urn in our family room.We can’t say enough good things about the services Paws Whiskers and Wags provided us. Thank you for taking such good care of our Bella!!

Second time using Paws Whiskers and Wags and just as satisfied with their service and the value as last time. They are caring and kind and handled our sweet girl with so much respect.

Paws, Whiskers and Wags was so compassionate and budget sensitive. They made saying goodbye to our sweet cat as good as it could have been. We were so grateful for them. They offered tremendous service, wonderful care and a very reasonable price (far more reasonable than any other place I called....and I called them all).
Nancy Halsema
While this was one of the worst times of my life, the people of Paws, Whiskers & Wags could not have been more professional and kind. They called me the very day he passed at Blue Pearl. She immediately offered that if it was too soon, she could call back later. I took her up on that offer as I was devastated. They called the following day and I found I was still not able to talk. She assured me our sweet Bailey was safe and they would take good care of him until whenever I got back with them. I made the arrangements in the next day or so. No pressure, they gave me some options for his remains. I was able to pick his ashes up the next day, along with paw prints and a lock of his fur. The kindness continued during my visit to their facility. I am so glad they offer this service with not just professionalism, but with sincerity and at a very reasonable price. Thank you so much. I hope not to need you again for many, many years; but when the time comes I will not hesitate to call on you again.

Words can not express my gratitude towards Paws, Whiskers & Wags. Our Vet recommended we call them after loosing our beloved pup. When first meeting with Paige I could barley speak but her patience and kindness shown through. Paige gave me the warmth and care I needed to say our final good byes. She washed our pup and had him in a beautiful basket " resting " so our family ( human and fur ) could sit with him one last time. What a wonderful company to allow families the opportunity to say a final good bye to their pets in such a beautiful way.Thank you ......Dana & forever in my heart Milo

PW&W has supported me with 4 of my family pets over the last 15 years sadly. It's hard knowing they are not with me but the team makes a tremendous effort to comfort and support you on this journey. The respect, gentleness, and easiness of our cremation and the love provided to us upon the loss of our best friends are extraordinary. Highly recommend.

Working with Paws, Whiskers & Wags after my ferret died was such a sweet experience. They calmed all of my worries, answered all of my questions and treated me with such kindness, patience, and empathy. They were communicative and sensitive. I love the clay paw imprint they made for me, as well as a little bag of his fur.

My Pet my companion, my emotional support pet, my Buddy, crossed the Rainbow Bridge early Sunday morning at 7 years and 5 months. Only a week after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. He is now with his brother Cuddles who also crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 4 years old. Cuddles was an abandoned kitten and buddy took to him. Buddy was a genital soul and was very protective of cuddles and myself always at my side his favorite places to go where Oak Hurst Park and Piedmont park, he would run with the other dogs and sometimes trip over his own paws because they were so big. A mix breed his mother a Basset his father thought to be a Mastiff. I was thoroughly impressed with this company and Marsha was absolutely wonderful. She was very compassionate during this difficult time for me.The intake process was very simple and Marsh explained all the steps involved with the cremation of my Bandit. She made it easier for me to be able to say goodbye to him.The facility was very peaceful and pleasant. I will definitely recommend using their services to anyone after losing their fur babies. They are reasonably priced and don't try to talk you into any high priced urns or extras.I will be able to pickup Bandit's ashes next week.Thank Paws, Whiskers & Wags for being there when I needed you.Just an additional note:I received the call from Paws, Whiskers & Wags on Tuesday following me leaving my baby in their care to let me know that his ashes were ready for pick-up. I was not able to get there until that Friday. Marsha, again, was very compassionate in helping me to complete this process. I was able to pick up Bandit's ashes with no problems. He now is with me in a lovely Tree of Life box. The paw print I received was absolutely gorgeous.I do not have enough words to express my gratitude for the care and compassion Paws, Whiskers & Wags Pet Crematory has for it's grieving customers. They made it so much easier for me to let my baby pass into his resting place so he can wait for me to greet him at the gates to Heaven.

We have had to use Paws, Whiskers & Wags twice for our beloved pups, Archie and Juno. The care and concern is equal to that which one would receive at a human funeral home. Everyone was exceptionally kind and understanding and I feel that our pets received the best, most compassionate care possible. Would not trust our pets to anyplace else.

We knew it was time to say goodbye to our loved pet and working with Paws, whiskers and wags made this process so much easier. We were able to be home with our dog where she was comfortable and talked about wonderful memories while she passed. This is the second time I've had to say goodbye to a beloved pet. This experience was easier.Thank you

We said goodbye to our 17 yr old Jack Russell Lily.We were heartbroken. PW&W couldn’t have been more compassionate towards us and our needs. They were extremely respectful of our pain. We were going out of town and they expressed her and she was ready for pickup in 24 hours. She is in a beautiful biodegradable container and they added some of her hair. FIVE STAR ! I recommend this place to anyone looking for this type of service.

PW&W was a god send during this very difficult time. I had made an end of life appointment most my baby Max, unfortunately he passed in my arms before we made it to the appointment. I was referred to PW&W by a friend and from the initial phone call to the time I received him back I was treated very well and so was my baby’s remains. Quinton was my person and he above and beyond for me, he made the planning of everything so much easier. He walked me through every step and answered every question ( I had plenty)! His urn and footprints turned out beautifully, Quinton was absolutely amazing and I stress that enough. Definitely helped my mourning period to be a little less hectic.

To all future Paws, Whiskers and Wags families: My dog Cookie was one the dearest treasures in my life for 16 years. When Cookie passed I was traumatized. I called many crematory services and I stopped when I met Elijah. Elijah immediately became a part of my family and I entrusted him with my cookie and I knew he would take special care of her and he did just that. I want to thank Paws, Whiskers and Wags for hiring such a great attribute like Elijah. He was phenomenal with his care and love. In this most traumatic time in our lives I highly recommend Paws, Whiskers and Wags and their services. 5 stars! And if I could give more I would.Best Wishes,Michelle Martin

I was told my baby would take between 24 to 72 hours to be ready for pick up. I waited and waited because we wanted to do a ceremony for her on Sunday and got no call. Come to find out she was ready on Saturday but no one gave me a call - or if they did, no voicemail was left. My voicemail works fine but to know I could have had my baby back home sooner but didn’t angers me. The staff is nice and the environment is very soft and delicate, but the lack of proactivity to communicate has left a bad impression on me. If you bring your baby here, I’d recommend calling every day to make sure you know when to pick them up.

Everyone we spoke with at PWW was kind and considerate. The turn around was very fast. Pretty sure they received our kitty on Thursday and we got a call Friday that he was ready to come home. They sent a package with resources to help cope with the loss, this heart to plant in honor of our cat and a beautiful wooden box. I would recommend them to anyone in need. It’s never an easy time situation to put a pet down so having calm and gentle people around really helps.

There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Paws, Whiskers & Wags but especially to Paul, from the moment he answered the phone, he made me feel at peace in one of the most difficult times of my life, his level of compassion, care and patience are invaluable, I was recommended to another company, Pet Angel, but the lack of compassion and coldness shown by the lady who answered the phone, made me look for another option, I am so grateful to have found you and Paul. ! Thank you for making this experience very peaceful and loving for me and my best friend Bobby!

I can't say enough great things about this place! We tragically lost our cat unexpectedly and I wanted the perfect place to take him for cremation. I researched several and this one stood out for a couple of reasons. They have 100% transparency, a tracking system, and human grade services. There are NO community cremations...your pet is cremated alone so what you get back is only your pet's cremains. They have some nice memory keepsakes (I highly recommend the paw print done in clay that comes with a photo frame). They aren't cheap compared to other places I priced (about twice the cost of most other places) but when you're grieving over a family member you want the best and you'll get it here. The staff is wonderful and our services were completed the following day. I hope I don't need their services again anytime soon but it's nice to know they're there if I do.

As expected, I was very distraught having to put down my beloved cat of 15 years. PWW was extremely comforting and accommodating. When I picked her up and received the patch of fur, I was elated that they clipped some of the white fur on the inside of her back leg. It's a very small area that no one probably noticed, but was a very distinguishing characteristic of her fur (she was a black cat). That personal touch meant the world to me. I highly recommend PWW.

I want to shout out the Decatur location for the wonderful service we received yesterday. To our dismay and shock, our sweet pup of 11 years (he was 7 days from his 12th bday) passed away. PWW was able to see us same day and assist us with the cremation process and return our beloved pup to us in a matter of a few hours. They were extremely respectful to us and to our lil guy. Thank you for making a horrible day a tiny bit better.

I have had great experiences here in the past. Unfortunately, quality and service have declined. Like others have mentioned, the "vessel" that remains are returned to you is a velvet sack. The free option used to be a tin, which is what I was promised when we started the cremation process. I would have accepted any legitimate *container* and been happy with it. But a sack? Hardly a vessel, and definitely not presentable. I'd rather just receive the ashes or be told that I need to spend more money in advance than get that awful bag.The explanation is that they're exploring "eco-friendly" options and this is what they have for now. I got this information while looking at a shelf full of better options behind customer service. There was one understanding person (male whose name I didn't get - thank you for your help, dude) who helped me purchase a more appropriate container to take my pets remains home in. Everyone else that I spoke to feigned understanding and obviously did not care.Be straightforward with your customers, guys. I'm highly disappointed and will be seeking alternatives next time I need help.

Interacting with Paws, Whiskers & Wags was the only easy part of losing my dog of thirteen years. The staff was prompt, kind, and thorough, just as they were fourteen years ago when I lost another best friend after fifteen years. I wouldn't consider any other option than P,W&W.

Paws, Whiskers & Wags have always been very professional, understanding, and patient during my experience with them over the years. The staff members provide much guidance, and the actual 'final' remains are beautifully and respectfully returned.

I loss my dog this past weekend. It was very emotional. I didn't imagine getting through it, until I walked in to a smiling face. The young lady asked me to enter a room. When she entered shortly after, she calmed me right down. Marsh was more than amazing. She had all the right words . I never shreded a tear, The laughter in the room was genuine. MARSH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I am not one to write reviews but I thought It very important to write this one. Losing my pet has by far been the hardest thing to go through. However, the staff here have just gone above and beyond!!! They have made this experience loving and caring. Their patience and thoughtfulness through this process has made such a difference. The staff are truly heartfelt and you feel how caring they are. I never felt like anyone was trying to sell me on things in fact I felt that the staff really made the experience personal and so loving like they knew my pet and how much my pet meant to me and the world and it mattered! I highly recommend !!! Thank you again to all the staff at Paws, Whiskers & Wags who cared for me and my pet during this experience.

Lost my 6 year old cat Kleo on Friday morning march 22nd, and they were able to take her the same afternoon. Everyone was extremely calm and nice to me. They respected Kleo and any decisions/questions I had. The place was clean, private and quiet. She was ready Monday morning and I was happy and sad on the ride back home. Thanks to you guys Kleo will forever be by my side along with my other future furry babies! Couldn’t thank you guys enough because I almost buried her and that wouldn’t have sat right with her being my first pet ever. She’s provided nothing but joy these past 6 years. And another thing that’s convenient, Their pricing is the best in Atlanta!

This is the second time we have had a golden retriever pass away unexpectedly. So I called them this morning and requested a same day because we were so upset and wanted our baby taken care of.Once again, they were exceptional. Marsha is the one who we did paperwork with and she- somehow- kept a smile on our face. And Alex was the one who performed the cremation for our fur baby. They were so compassionate, and despite being so upset right now, I wanted to post a review immediately because they made such a difference for what turned out to be a really bad day.So grateful they were here to help us at the last second. Our baby was in kind, good hands.

After being mislead, over-charged, and ignored for a week by PW&W all I can say is, take your pet somewhere else. After having my pet taken here by the hospital where she was put to sleep, I was called by Kandace the next day to discuss payment for services. Feeling uncomfortable with giving out my debit card information over the phone, I asked if I could pay online. She told me she would send me a link. She didn’t. The next day, she called again to ask about the payment, and when I told her I never got the link, she sent one right away.I was told my cat would be ready for me to pick up within the next 24-72 hours. Then I hear nothing for A WEEK until Kandace calls me this morning to discuss payment for services. I was told I never paid. Then (after some denial on her part) I find out that I was sent the wrong link, so the payment I made (which was almost $100 over what I should have paid) “never registered” and that they “couldn’t find it”. Repeatedly during this ordeal, I was told I would be called back. Repeatedly, I wasn’t, and had to call them to find out what was going on. After finally getting a refund (which was only the difference between the payments, when I was told the whole thing would be refunded so we could discuss payment options AGAIN) the only thing they tried to do to make up for all of this was offer a “complimentary” paw print. From my cat that’s been sitting in a freezer for a week. And that I already have from the original vets office. So, for your own sake and peace of mind during an already incredibly delicate time in your life, if you can save yourself the headache and have the option, go somewhere else.
Jamie Ousley
I've used them twice now. Could not have had a better experience. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely the worst experience in such a delicate time!! Our male Husky passed away on February 22, 2024. We brought him to Paws, Whiskers, and Wags in Decatur to have him cremated. Upon going through everything we were quoted our pricing which really wasn’t an issue. I didn’t expect a really quick turn around time, all I honestly expected was this matter to be handled with empathy and care. Pfft.02/23/2024 - Ordered Black/White marble Urn from Paws, Whiskers, and Wags website. Did this over the phone as this is how it is done.02/27/2024 - called to give what I wanted engraving to read as. Was a little concerned that the employee read it back incorrectly twice. Also, was charged another $10 as the employee I spoke to said the engraving was $50, but that’s not what I was told when I initially was given pricing on 02/22/2025. Cost didn’t matter but I should have been given proper pricing initially.03/07/2024- called to check to see how the progress was as I had not heard anything, spoke to Paul who appeared to sound very unsure as if he didn’t want to tell me that a mistake had been made. Said he would call me back “In the near future”. I never received a call.02/12/2024 - I called back, as I had not heard anything (I waited as I didn’t want to be pushy or rude.) I left a voicemail. Paul returned that call on 02/16/2024. This is when I was informed that the shipper had not apparently shipped my urn…..He instructed to call back and speak with Eli, whom could help further.02/16/2024 - I called back and spoke to Eli that had informed me when I spoke to Paul initially that they found out that day that the urned had not been shipped and apologized for never calling me back to let me know. So this tells me when I spoke to Paul, he knew but didn’t want to tell me.Eli then said wanted to call me right back after checking for information regarding my order. I never received a call back. Finally received a call 5 days later and the Urn had to be reordered. When the shipper finally shipped the order it arrived within the week and come to find out the wrong size had been sent/ordered. Not sure what went wrong here but I had initially told them the size we needed. So they reordered a bigger Urn.The urn arrived 5 days later, I was sent the 1st proof on 3/22/2024. I spoke with Elijah and said I wanted to change some of the wording. Elijah said they needed to speak to the engravers. Elijah asked me if I wanted a 2nd proof. With everything that had already transpired, I said yes that I wanted a 2nd proof, this was on 3/23/2024. I waited as patiently as I could, then on 3/28/2024 I sent an email asking if there were any updates. I then received an email from Elijah on 3/29/2024 stating that my dogs urn would be completed by 5pm on 3/29/2024. I then responded on 3/29/2024 questioning in regards to the 2nd proof that I never received. That’s when Elijah sent me the proof. AFTER the engravers are almost finished. I then asked when I could pick up and Elijah told me I could pick up tomorrow which was 03/30/2024. So I called on 03/30/2024 and was informed I could not and that, that is what they told me on them just “expecting” that my dogs ashes and urn would be ready for pick up. What’s even worse, I had expressed my concerns a couple of times and all I ever got was “we’re sorry” and then continued bad interactions. Nothing changed. Highly unprofessional business and very shady customer service for a place that is to handle delicate situations. Will NEVER use them again and will warn anyone looking to have cremation services done to steer clear.

Paws, Whiskers and Wags took amazing care of us from start to finish and were a wonderful comfort to us as we navigated after care for our beloved kitty, Nat. They were compassionate, accessible, steady, personable and efficient throughout every part of this experience. They treated us with great sensitivity and compassion and we feel so comforted that our loved one was in their care.

My furry, best friend (Karma) passed away suddenly today after she was a part of our family for 13 years. Marsha, Heather and the staff here went above and beyond to help us make it through this heartbreaking experience. The facility was so well designed and organized. My daughter and I were immediately given a private space to grieve while we waited. We are allowed to stay in a private room until we were ready to say our final goodbyes. Karma was always referred to as our “loved one” and not just a dog. She was more than that to me…to us for 13 years. Marsha and the staff here really understand this. Marsha was warm, kind and so knowledgeable about the cremation process: Such a tough day emotionally…but they made the aftercare options a lot easier for me. I’m grateful.

The workers there were very respectful and friendly - I'm quite dissatisfied with the package that I received. I got the complimentary urn with personal cremation, paw print and lock of fur. I wasn't given the option to pick out my pet's urn when arrangements were made over the phone, but when I went to pickup, I noticed a wall full of an assortment of urns to choose from - would've been nice to know.Secondly, the paw print is to be a print of your pet's paw in a clay tablet. This paw print was NOT my pet's - she had fur in between her toes/pads, which was not reflected in the paw print. The cremation was also denoted to have been two days before I picked up, but the clay was still wet. How is the clay still wet (you could see my fingerprint from touching it lightly) two days after my pet was cremated? Definitely not her print - this is a STANDARD paw print clay with crude stamps of my pet's name in it.

Can’t express how helpful, understanding, patient and kind the staff was here. Great place to spend your last moments with your fur baby.

We have used Paws Whiskers and Wags twice for our sweet kitties that have passed. Both times they have been respectful, helpful and very kind. Would def recommend.

I have my pros and cons about dealing with this company last week when I unexpectedly lost my baby girl of 10 almost 11 years. When I originally had called they said the package came with a “complimentary vessel” and when I got there to drop my baby off (drove over 45 mins btw) I find out the vessel was a velvet drawstring bag 😓 I would’ve rather them tell me up front the “vessel” was a bag. Very misleading, but what do you do when you’re in shock and grieving so much, you don’t want to drive all over the place with your passed fur baby. Nonetheless, I thought whatever I’ll just order one but I still just felt wrong about my baby being sent home in a bag. Secondly, after getting home from pick up I noticed they spelled by baby’s name WRONG on her certificates and everything when I straight up spelled it for them TWICE. Thirdly, after my dad handed Candice my baby in a large trash bag from the cooler, she carried her around like she was actually taking out the trash! My baby was 7 pounds! Can you not carry her with respect? I know from being a vet assistant and working at a vet we only carry euthanized dogs that way if they are very big or very heavy and that really upset me. I will say they did get her completed quickly, she was ready the following day but I would like new paperwork with correct spelling I’ve just been too upset to call. Oh, and it’s an extra $40 for a clay paw print which normally comes in the package price at other places but I guess you get what you pay for, while it is a nicer paw print I feel that’s a bit much. They were very nice and respectful but there’s obviously a few things that rubbed me the wrong way. All in all though I appreciate them handling my girl and helping me in my time of horrible grief.EDITED: Removed a star from my original review as the owner responds and says “sorry for the loss of your sweet baby Candice” that wasn’t her name!!! That’s the name of your employee that mishandled my girl!!! 😭🤦🏼♀️ I would’ve expected them to reach out and offer to send new certificates with her name spelled right as well since that’s all I asked for but no mention of that. Unbelievable. If my grief wasn’t bad enough already, I feel even worse now that I feel I took my baby girl Alysa to the wrong company to cremate her. 😭EDITED EDIT: Okay I know this is a lot but they did reach out about 5 mins after the edited review and offered to send new certificates etc. The representative was very kind and I honestly feel bad that I went off the way I did in this review I think I’m just so lost without my baby here and the reality sets in that she’s gone and even though there were mistakes made I’ve always been known to stay respectful and I crossed a line therefore I apologize. Moral of the story GRIEF SUCKS.

Thank you to for taking extra care and love for both of my babies, giving them an amazing fair well and providing them with two beautiful urns. Your staff is amazing and the service you provide to pet parents is truly a gift!

I chose Paws Whiskers and Wags for my 14 y/o Beagle. They picked my Romeo from the vet on Saturday and had my appointment right on Monday morning I arrived about 15 minutes early for my appointment to say my final goodbye to my Romeo and was greeted at my car by Sarah she walked me into the special quiet room for me to sit with my Romeo. I could tell by the way she brought him in he was already in good hands. She was very respectful and even offered to stay with me and talk if I needed. I was greeted by more members of the staff who offered their condolences and understood what I was feeling. They then took my baby back to get me a paw print and get him ready in his little coffin. Robb was so great when he came out to give me the paw print and lock of fur his words just meant everything to me in that moment I told him I wasn’t leaving till the whole process was done in which he was not bothered by and said it would take about and hour and a half. He then told me he was going in the back to open the door for me to witness that indeed my Romeo was going to be cremated privately. During my wait I had a few people check on me and was even comforted by a dog named Toby. I was told I could come back at any time to have my baby transferred to the urn I ordered for him and I did just that today. Words can’t express how appreciative I am with the staff here. Thank you so much Paws Whiskers and Wags.

Having to say goodbye to our pup after twelve and a half years was one of the hardest and most heartbreaking things we’ve ever had to do. We were so touched by the sensitivity and caring shown by the Paw, Wags & Whiskers Team. I spoke to Lisa to make final arrangements. She was kind and professional and obviously used to dealing with people who are grieving. She let me take my time to decide what I wanted to do and I’m so glad she mentioned the lock of hair. I had no idea how much it would mean to me to have that. Aside from the paw print it is such a very real part of my boy that I can now hold onto. Thank you, Paws Family for providing the service you do. And for employing people who truly care. It really did help us get through.

My family lost our dog (scooter) he was 13 years old and it was absolutely devastating to lose him but when I called up there the lady gave me a price (over 100 dollars cheaper then what we where quoted elsewhere) scooter was a shihpoo so he wasn't over 8 pounds it's cost us $169 which was extremely good in my opinion. When we walked in its was quiet and peaceful the lady greeted us with hurt in her eyes knowing how upset and distraught we were. An amazing lady she made it quick with the paperwork and made us feel better about losing our little buddy. Get a call the next day that he was ready to be picked up. We where honestly surprised because we had another one of our dogs cremated and it took them over 2 week to get back with us on an update just an update. This place I will recommend to anyone who wants to have thier dog with them forever. All the urns they had were absolutely beautiful and stunning to match your dog. 100/10 would recommend

I lost my baby suddenly and wanted her to be taken care of even thought she wasn’t here! Paws whiskers and wags helped me through the process of getting her cremated and made sure I was informed about everything going on with her cremation. We got her back in a quick enough time. They even sent out a holiday card saying they were thinking about us in this time since it was co close to Christmas. Thank you all

The staff at Paws, Whiskers & Wags are truly professional, empathetic, and compassionate. I have trusted them with my needs for the care of our four-legged family members that we've lossed. I highly recommend them to all who need help during their time of loss and grief.
Eggy Soto-Uribe

Patricia Livingston

Rachel Cronin

Jobu Cats
Paws, Whiskers & Wags have always been very professional, understanding, and patient during my experience with them over the years. The staff members provide much guidance, and the actual 'final' remains are beautifully and respectfully returned.

I would love to thank the staff at this Facility. Quinton, Paul and Ty they all were so patient and kind throughout the process of taking care of my beloved fur baby Cabesudo. Y’all will forever be in my prayers as you continue to help fur babies parents get through a difficult time. Thanks again 🙏🤗🥰

I can't say enough about this company. Everyone from the person who took my initial call to the Dr. Lauren and the director Michael Harris were compassionate and efficient. My dogs remains were mistakenly sent to the wrong vet. A vet who's name is similar to the vet I use. Michael Harris took care of it immediately and within 24 hours I had my baby back home.

Part 2 Feb 2024My friend picked out the urn for her pup. They failed to tell her only a small amount of the ashes would fit in it. The web description does not say anything about this. What?? The dog was only 13 pounds. So today she’s having to go through this again, and she is beside herself.Read through the other posts. You will see that their services and attention to detail are declining. Please do you and your family a favor and go someplace else. On Tuesday she thought she had everything settled so she could start the healing process. Three days later, she finds out her selection will not even hold her pup.Part 1: 2022Would never recommend. A friend had a good experience but we didn’t and 17 months later I still regret not using Deceased Pet Care in Chamblee. We used them for 20 years, local vet recommended PW&W after a sudden loss. They left me sitting in the lobby without acknowledging my presence, and then they handed me my dog like she was a pizza. An open office, no privacy, no place to be with your feelings. I swear it’s like picking up a to go order.Owner gave lip service and a failed attempt at…I guess a joke. “What do you want me to do, fire them all?” Finally the office manager gave us a plaque, which I will discard when I plant my flowers this spring. Can’t look at it anymore.

I can not say enough wonderful things about this place, the staff, and services they provide. When my beloved kitty, Frannie, died suddenly, the Paws, Whiskers, & Wags made the devastating experience less painful, and were quite comforting. They had Frannie the day after she passed and called me promptly. They were sincerely compassionate and offered kind words and multiple options for services. I elected to have a single cremation and purchased a lovely carved wooden box. They also offer to include a little pouch with a piece of fur. The piece they chose was so perfect because it showed both colors from Frannie's fur. I was surprised by how comforting and healing it has been to have this. I never would have thought it would be an option. The also offer a clay mold of your pet's paw prints. I love this option and am glad I took it. I know I'll cherish it always. They did not pressure any of the options at all and actually only mentioned to free box option on the phone. It was only after I got off the phone that I explore their website and looked at the other boxes. I called them back and asked for it to be added. I appreciated that they weren't doing any sort of hard sell while I was grieving. When I pick up the remains, the staff member was professional and courteous. It didn't take long. I was there about 5 minutes. Everything was ready in one day's time so I didn't have a prolonged experience. That was helpful. They also sent a bereavement card in the following weeks and gave me a follow up phone call to check in over a month later. This place is amazing at what they do. I'm grateful I had them in such a terrible time. Highly recommended! Thank you Paws, Whiskers, & Wags!

THANK YOU!!! We euthanized our In Laws dog and wanted him cremated. Have used PWW for my own pets. I arrived after 5:00 but Lauren Babino was so kind and helped me with our pet. Highly recommend, always professional, courteous and truly care about your pet! Amituofo!

The staff at Paws, Whiskers & Wags were phenomenal when it came to arranging everything for my dog's cremation. Very caring, understanding, compassionate, and responsive bunch during a time when all of that and more is truly needed. I highly recommend them if ever a time comes for this type of need.

We have used Paws, Wiskers and Wags for our own pets, so when our neighbor had to say goodbye to her 21 yr old cat, Martha, we knew the best place to take her for cremation. We met with Marsha, who was very compassionate and caring. She took care of the details quickly and helped us in this time of grief.Thank you, Marsha.

WOW. I am absolutely blown away by the customer service and compassion that this business showed to me. I lost my dog of 13 years and everyone I spoke with at this location was so sweet and compassionate towards me. If you are a dog owner, you know how hard it is to lose an animal and I feel that they did nothing short of treating my baby wonderfully once they got him. I had him cremated, got a paw print and a lock of hair. I even broke down crying in the parking lot after picking him up and one of the associates who brought him out to me came outside and said a prayer with me and even gave me nice words to leave with. Awful circumstances, but again, the experience was unmatched and when the dreadful day comes again I will definitely trust them with my baby! Thank you guys, you are doing amazing!

This was the first time I've had a pet pass away and I had no idea what to do. Everybody I dealt with was so sweet and respectful. They put my kitty in a basket with a soft blanket on him and gave me time to say goodbye in a private room. It was heartbreaking, but a nice last visit. They thoroughly explained the whole process and my cat was ready the next business day. I got a lock of fur and paid extra for a paw print. The paw print was nice, I recommend. They even let me bring my own urn and put my cat's ashes in it for me. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for such a sad event.

Mallory and her staff at the Covington office are amazing! I was very disappointed with the Decatur office, but the staff at the Covington office more than made up for it. They have had 3 of my babies in the last 9 months and have been wonderful. I don’t have the words to say how great and supportive they are. I will only take my fur-babies to Paws, Whiskers and Wags Covington. They are by far the best!!

They were extremely kind and thoughtful! Mike stayed with me through the entire process a made it hurt a little less. My precious Princess was taken care of with the upmost respect here. Thank you everyone for showing such love and respect during my family's loss. "Enjoy the rainbow bridge my sweet puppy Princess "

I have used the E Ponce location for several years and have found them to be compassionate, prompt, and professional. My only feedback would be to request on the application how the client wishes to be contacted. Although they promptly cremated my loved one, they called me before I was ready to discuss it. I would have liked to have specified to be contacted by email instead of telephone. If they add that to their Q&A, I think it would help those of us who are too raw. Christine did my intake, and she was quite compassionate, spending time with me, allowing me to talk; she was the first person I spoke to, as it was a sudden death which put me in her halls 2 hours late that morning. I think anyone who is lucky enough to get Christine for their intake will not be disappointed. Alex also was helpful, and I recommend the business without reservation for all of your pet cremation needs. One more story: although it was years ago, my 2nd pet cremated here was a chameleon. A staff member whose name I have unfortunately forgotten over time, showed me the deepest compassion when, as my cham went into the oven, I asked him if I could hold his hand a cry a bit. He allowed it, and it was the most humane act of kindness another stranger has shown me in a long time. I just don't want to end this review without mentioning it; it has been >5 years and I still recall it because it helped me heal some.

This was my first experience with losing my pet, but this place did a fantastic job. After having my best friend for 15 years- through good times and bad, through moves all around the state, and all kinds of struggles, PW&W memorialized him beautifully.Thank y’all so much for taking care of Tuna, and making sure he could come back home in a respectful way ❤️

Paws, whiskers, and wags was excellent during our time of need. We lost our baby Sadie on January 27, 2022. It was extremely,Extremely difficult, especially since it was not expected. The staff was excellent!! They cried with us, grieved with us, comforted us, and were so patient with us while in our grief we attempted to figure out how to best honor Sadie. We can never say thank you enough!! We pray God‘s blessings upon the lives of all of those who work in this industry and understand that they aren’t “just dogs/cats/pets,” instead they are our family members.

I was contacted Monday morning to discuss the details of my pet's cremation and what services I would like. The staff at Paws, Whiskers & Wags was very professional, understanding and wonderful to work with. I was told the process would take 48 to 72 hours but they were very prompt and my pet was ready the next day. I thank they for everything they did, the lock of fur was perfect and his paw print leaves us with a special memory of our dog Droopy. Thank you from the Santiago-Arroyo family for everything you did for us during this difficult time.

These folks are absolutely terrific!!!! I lost my first family dog, my 3rd son who grew up with our boys - it's a terrible time of grief for me right now. During drop off and pick up a few days later the entire staff was absolutely sincerely sympathetic and considerate! While this is a horrible time for any pet parent to go through, Paws, Whiskers & Wags gives you all the consideration you could ask for when making arrangements to bringyour fur baby's remains back home. And they follow the social distance and COVID prevention guidelines - I gladly recommend their services and will surely use them again in the future.

The team at Paws Whiskers & Wags were a very good resource at a very difficult time. My wonderful 14 year old dog Abby passed away late Monday. In my "grief fog" I began researching cremation options - after comparing reviews and online presence of several pet cremation businesses - I was drawn to Paws Whiskers & Wags. The entire staff: Nikki, Pam and John were so very kind, compassionate and informative. It's clear they love animals and have huge hearts. I had a private room to say my final goodbyes, they accommodated the blankets and toys I wanted included with Abby. I never felt rushed in my goodbyes, never felt pressured to buy other products or services...Just very supported at a horrible time. Their prices were also straightforward and competitive. If you have lost a pet and need this service, my heart goes out to you. Believe me, you can trust your furry friend and your grieving heart with the staff at Paws Whiskers & Wags.
Trish Rage
They made one of the worst experiences in my life even worse. They lied about being able to give me a lock of my dog's fur and a paw print. Now I have neither. When I went to pick up my baby's remains they didn't answer the phone and skipped over me in the parking lot. I was crying and feel like they were insensitive and rude. DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR PET!!!After they reached out(see below) I sent my info and no one contacted me about their mistakes with my dog. My heart is broken and they just wanted to make themselves look less bad in the public eye. I REPEAT THINK TWICE BEFORE TRUSTING THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR BABY'S REMAINS.

I cannot express enough good things about this place. We lost our furbaby Harry, very unexpectedly a week ago and Paws Whiskers and Wags exceeded our expectations. In all honesty we knew we were going to use them because we used them three years ago when we had to put our dog Max down. They did such a good job with Max we decided to go with them again and were not disappointed. My wife and I both came in visibly upset and they were sensitive to our situation. I know it's challenging to work with customers who are sad all of the time but the staff was great. They helped us pick out an urn and shared with us some other options to memorialize Harry. We even got to see him again one more time and I'm glad we did. He looked very peaceful and it was a much better final memory than seeing him on the operating table at the veterinarian's office. Thank you PWW!
Mary Lynn
I would like to thank you for the service of my boy cat (Rocky Balboa). I greatly appreciate your kindness 🙏❤️

I recently lost and my best friend and I want to give kudos to Candice.I have been extremely emotional trying to adjust and I just wanted him home so badly so I called everyday and then started emailing her everyday as well to see when he would be ready to come home. She was always polite and never short with me and always said it was her pleasure even though I know I it wasn't she always did exactly what she said she would returning every phone call and email she provided me with exceptional service so if you ever have to pay them a visit ask for Candice.

Erica Steele
I was so impressed with how compassionate and professional the staff are here. The process was explained to me so well and the lady I spoke with was just so friendly and understanding. It made this experience, which was so difficult, comforting. When we received the ashes of our sweet cat, everything was put together with such care. I could tell that this company cares and puts so much pride into what they do. I highly recommend this crematory because of the outstanding service they provide. Thank you so much for making this easier and comforting.
Rachel Proctor
Our veterinary hospital uses this company for cremation services, so we didn't really have a choice, but there's a reason they use them. I don't envy the staff at PW&W; they have a difficult job. We've had to use them twice in 2020 (sadly) and both times they were so sweet and compassionate. They're prompt in their services and they always put our minds at ease that our babies are receiving the best private care. When we picked up both our babies, they give you pamphlets and book recommendations and take grieving of a pet very seriously. I hope we don't have to use them again anytime soon, but we appreciate what they do.
Chrissy Burley
My family’s experience here was perfect. They handled our family’s loss with tenderness and kindness and such great care. They set aside some ashes for keepsakes and gave us 2 patches of fur so my wife and I could each have one. His paw print was beautifully done and presented. Thank you to everyone who helped.
Kayla Donarski
March 12, 2021 we had to make the hardest decision to have our baby boy Axel euthanized. Our vet (Dearborn Animal Hospital) explained to us what the process was from start to finish when using Paws, Whiskers and Wags. I even called Paws, Whiskers and Wags and spoke with Kayla and she was so kind, comforting and helpful. She made sure the urn we wanted was there in time for Axel’s cremation. Death is hard and losing a loved one is heartbreaking. Using Paws, Whiskers and Wags made me feel comforted that my best friend was loved and taken care of after his passing.

The staff at Paws, Whiskers, & Wags are incredibly compassionate, gentle, patient, and understanding in one of the hardest moments a person can ever face. They talked us through each part of the process, gave us lots of options, and were very patient and didn’t rush us at all. Ace went above and beyond to help us through the worst day of our lives. Their staff kept us informed through each step, and were so loving and kind both when we took her little body to give into their care and when we came back to receive her ashes. I could not more highly recommend a place to take your sweet fur baby when their time to cross comes. I’m so grateful for how kind everyone there was to us and how they didn’t rush us at all.
Darla Heeter
I can't say that I loved my experience there but I am so grateful for the staff there. I spoke with Nikki two hours before they opened, she was very respectful and wonderful in trying to comfort me. When I arrived one of the staff members promptly went out to my van to help. Tricia came in and walked me through the process with professionalism and care. Today was a horrible day but all of the staff at Paws Whiskers & Wags made the pain not only bearable but made me feel very well taken care of as well as my pet. JB was very welcoming in the back and was very understanding and was honest about what I could expect. While I don't want anyone to need their services I am very grateful they were there for me today.
Ashley Fullerton
Everyone I spoke to was incredibly professional and sympathetic, and made sure to walk me through their process and what to expect.I also opted for the ceramic paw prints, and I couldn’t be happier I did. I tried several times over the course of my little ones life to get paw prints, but a combination of tiny, scramble-y feet and strong will meant they never turned out well. Her ceramic paw prints were absolutely perfect; thank you so much, Paws, Whiskers, & Wags

I was greeted immediately by a very kind, compassionate man. Everyone was wonderful. Everything was done perfectly. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, considering the circumstances.

This is, unfortunately, the second time we’ve used Paws, Whiskers & Wags and they’re so great. Very patient while I was picking out the wooden box urn and choosing engraving. They also called to let me know my pet’s ashes were waiting for me at my vet’s office. I appreciate their kindness and sensitivity during a very difficult time.
R Wright
Wonderful people at Paw Whiskers & Wags, they took care of our kitty's remains and delivered the ashes back to us promptly and securely. A compassionate and kind service during a time of loss of our beloved pet.
Melody Cipriano
I can't say enough about this company. Everyone from the person who took my initial call to the Dr. Lauren and the director Michael Harris were compassionate and efficient. My dogs remains were mistakenly sent to the wrong vet. A vet who's name is similar to the vet I use. Michael Harris took care of it immediately and within 24 hours I had my baby back home.
Brandi Parker

Paws, Whiskers and Wags cremated our 1st pet that died naturally at home just after they opened business on E. Ponce de Leon. A pet groomer told us about this place. We were not aware a pet crematiry exisred in Atlanta. We were so impressed with the sraff and the services, we returned when anothet pet died at home from old age.The staff is phenomenal, caring and compassionate. We were so impressed when we used this company the 1st time that we knew where to come if we ever needed to use a pet crematory again. If you plan to cremate your baby, you will be greatful you chose this business.

They were very kind and they returned my pets remains promptly.

I lost my 16-year-old best friend and fur baby on 02/05/2020... and was devastated. I got him when he was a mere 8 weeks old and he has been by my side everyday for 16 years. I am just so grateful that I was able to hold him while he passed away at home peacefully and in his own bed. However I'm even more grateful to Paws Whiskers & Wags (PWW) for making the process simply beautiful!!! Because I had senior dog, I began preparing myself many months ago for this inevitable day and I chose PWW based on their reviews. Their website had standard hours of operation, but it also said they answered calls 24/7. So I called them at 6am, shortly after my sweet boy passed, but not really expecting anyone to answer. Thankfully someone did... and although the lady on the other end had clearly just woken up, she was still very warm and gladly anwsered all my questions. When I could finally bring myself to transport my beloved fur baby to their facilty that morning, I was completely hysterical and overwhelmed with tears (and snot). However the staff met me at the front door with comforting arms and guided us into a private room... where I was met by "Ace" and another grief counselor (I "think" her name was Angelica). They both spoke softly and were very compassionate as we made arrangements for my baby. I didn't feel any type of sales pressure and everything was just super professional from start to finish. I opted for the private cremation (which comes with a Pet Tracker 360 chip that they put on your baby beforehand, to ensure they are cremated alone and their ashes are authentic), as well as the "paw print" keepsake (which comes in a faux leather case, that has a place for a photo of your baby). They also brought out an adorable blanket-lined basket to put my baby in as they took him away. I broke down, but they held me together... and offered as many tissues and waters as I needed. And even though I opted to order a custom engraved urn from another company, PWW provided me with a beautiful little temporary urn when it came time to pick up his ashes. Finally, they also offer complimentary counseling each month to help deal with the loss of a pet, which I think is absolutely FANTASTIC! I am so very thankful to PWW for helping make this tramatic experience LESS hurtful. I truly felt like they understood my pain, I felt comfortable leaving my baby in their hands that day and I am in a very good space knowing my baby's true remains are at home with me. While I don't think I will get another doggie because this grief was just too much, I will definitely recommend PWW to every pet parent I know! I'm so grateful for them... and I know my fur baby is as well :o)

Our beloved dog Buzz was involved in a truck accident and we choose Paws Whiskers & Wags for the crematory services. The staff was very friendly, comforting and respectful for our pet and their support. We visited the Covington location and Mallory was a joy to work with and very understanding in our time of grief. The facility was very nice and well organized. I highly recommend them for their professional way on conducting business and their prompt services. Thank you again Mallory for being so kind and sweet. Regards Chevy

I can’t say enough about the staff at paws, whiskers, and wags. I lost my best boy of 14 years recently and they were beyond kind and delicate. They spoke softly, asked questions gently, and didn’t even skip a beat while I sobbed hysterically on the phone. I opted for the paw print which came in a little leather bound case and had the rainbow bridge poem inside. His ashes came in a really cute tin box with flowers on it until I get a proper urn. As much as I wish I didn’t have to use their services, I will definitely be back... but hopefully not for a while.

Paws, Whiskers & Wags was more than I could have asked for to help me with my Prince. The ashes are meticulously preserved, the paw print is perfect, and they give you more than just a lock of fur to commemorate your beloved animal. Thank you so much for being so wonderful in such a sad time.

There are not enough good words that I can come up with to describe how wonderful the people and the service here has been. Though I am a “tough guy” of 47 years, I was not prepared for the grief I felt after having to put down my dog, Cassie. It literally caught me off guard and I felt an overwhelming sense of loss. She lived to the age of 16 1/2 years and I had her since she was 2 months old. She was there before my kids, and they in turn did not know life without her. To say that our family was grief stricken by her passing is an understatement. She was a member of our family and I’m not afraid to admit that I cried the most at having to make the decision to put her to sleep and then being there for her passing. Because I held her as she was put to sleep, I saw her die. And that haunted me. I needed another opportunity to see her and say goodbye that wasn’t traumatic and that afforded me the opportunity to have closure. This is where Paws, Whiskers and Wags comes in. They picked up our pup at the vet and transported her to their facility. I worked with Kevin who was one of the most compassionate and soothing people I’ve ever spoken with. He assured me it isn’t odd to see your pet before cremation, and he described the entire process to me in detail. Essentially, they have what I can best describe as a “doggie wake” where you can visit with your pet before the cremation takes place. They provide a private room where you can spend time with your pet, and they are presented in a very respectful and peaceful manner. My dog was covered in a blanket, her head was placed on a pillow and her legs were crossed in front of her. I could tell they brushed her coat and took great care with her. She looked peaceful and she almost seemed younger. I had all the time I needed to say goodbye and see her one last time. Finally, I was given the option to see her go into the cremation chamber. This part is not traumatic as one would think. It’s done very respectfully and allows you to be sure your pet is being cremated alone and that the ashes you receive are those of your pet. She was placed into a box, I saw her here for the very last time and then they covered the box. I watched as the box was placed into the cremation chamber and then the door to the chamber was closed. About an hour and a half later, the ashes were given to me in an urn I had selected. While this may all be an unnecessary step for some, I’m so glad I had the opportunity to be a part of this. I know my dog was gone. I know she was no longer there. But after 16 years of companionship I felt I owed her this last gesture to ensure she was treated with dignity and care. And I got the closure I needed. I am so grateful to Paws, Whiskers and Wags for the compassion, care and professionalism they provided during the entire process. Everyone who works here has pets, and they are clearly animal lovers. So when they tell you they are “sorry for your loss” they truly mean it. I hope I never have to use their service again, but I know I will someday. There’s no other place I would ever consider. Highly recommend.

Customer Service was awful! The representative responded to my email and informed me that the company made a mistake on my fur baby's urn and it would be expedite delivery back on Thursday and to the Marrieta office on Friday. However, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday came and went without any communication from Paws Whiskers and Wags. I sent an email to my representative but did not get a response so I finally called the Marrieta office and was informed my fur baby was not there. They told me they would have the manager contact me. The manager called me, he was nice and said he would check into and get back with me on Monday. On Monday he informed they had received the yrn and he could deliver her urn to me since I was recovering from surgery. Then on Thursday morning I received a call from the Marrieta office saying they have my fur baby and she is ready for pick up. What the heck is going on, the manager was supposed to deliver her by Thursday! DO NOT USE PAWS WHISKERS AND WAGS, they will only cause you additional stress and heartache!

Paws, Whiskers & Wags were incredibly thoughtful and supportive during our time of loss. We appreciate their care tremendously.

When I had the unfortunate incident of losing my beloved friend, I was given several options, and ended up deciding on cremation. The same day, PW&W contacted me to make the final arrangements. They were courteous, compassionate, and understanding to our situation. The services provided were quick and our ashes were returned and ready for pickup the next day. The presentation was far above what I expected. While I can never replace my chihuahua, knowing that I can keep him near makes it a little easier to accept.

I have never met kinder, more caring, sensitive, compassionate people in all my life. I have lost 3 pets and every time have gone to Paws, Whiskers & Wags because I know they will care for the soul of my pet--and for my own soul. I am so grateful to these angels on earth for the sacred work they do.

Look no farther, this is the one.Paws, Whiskers & Wags in Decatur, GA, is organized so amazingly well.Naomi conducts a flawless and ethical cremation service.Michael is an absolute gem. He was a guiding light of comfort for us.We chose to bring, wait and receive back our loved one.We experienced such an unexpected peaceful and surprising closure. The waiting room surprisingly serene, when imaging going through the motions never having seen the interior and meeting the group in person, we had worry that it would be dreary. We have our moments of great sadness with our loss, of course, but the experience here made it feel so much less tragic in every way.You can absolutely trust this wonderful group to handle your personal event with the utmost decorum and honor.

They took very good care of my baby girl. This was my first time having to experience this and they were very patient with all my questions. They made the process easy and stress free for my family and I.

I can honestly say I've always experienced nothing but care and compassion from every staff member I've dealt with at Paws, Whiskers & Wags (recently it was my third time needing their services).I have had nothing but positive experiences each of the times I've needed their services and I would highly recommend them. No pet owner wants to lose a beloved pet family members, but if you do, please consider Paws, Whiskers & Wags.

It is such a shame that I am just now writing this review and that I have to type this period however My baby passed in November of last year. Now this literally has to have been the hardest time of my life but we had to make burial arrangements for her and we decided to go the cremation route so we could each have some of her with us. Basically the people at Paws whiskers and wags were so kind and compassionate to us, they helped as best as they could to ease us through the process ultimately assisting us with accepting what had happened. I think these individuals have such a huge heart and I would recommend this company a billion times over.Rip Ivy love u 💙

Mallory and the staff here at the covington office are absolutely amazing! They were so compassionate with me and the care of my pet. It’s never easy saying goodbye and they made it so much easier on my family. We got him back less than 24 hours and we are 100% positive that he got treated with respect. Thank you.
Candace Morgan
These people put a puppy in a bag and gave to someone claiming the rules changed on the urn policy but never gave a call to let the owner know anything they let the owner take pics of the urn that was supposed to be given and said come back in 24-48 hours we get there only to get the baby in a clear and black bag. As a company who cares bags should never even be given out

First I would like to say thank you Paws, whiskers & wag for being so kind and professional. This was my fiancé’s and I’s first fur baby death and we were and still are devastated🥺. We didn't know what to do or where to turn all we knew for sure is we wanted to give our baby the best after care possible. PW&W helped us do just that. Heather took her time explaining all our options even in our devastated state and allowed us time to really come to a conclusion that was suitable for us and our financial situation. We felt comforted knowing PW&W would treat our baby girl as family not just a pet. I highly recommend PW&W. Thanks again.Soak up the sun up there Gracie baby we love you..we miss you..until we meet again pookababy.💕

Thank you! Very fast and positive experience, everyone on the phone was also professional and caring. My baby is the sweetest soul I have ever met. It is difficult to talk about my doggo in the past tense but my family and I are going to cherish our beautiful memories for as long as we live. 🥺❤️

Paws, Whiskers & Wags was there for us, even on a Sunday. On November 1st at 2:00 a.m., our nineteen and a half year-old cat passed away. We knew it was time, but it was still incredibly difficult. I called PW&W on Sunday morning at 11:30 a.m. and left a voice mail. Michael called me back within the hour and comforted me as I cried over the loss of our dear Meau. He was so kind and compassionate. I know this job cannot be easy, for they are dealing with death at every turn, but he was so comforting and nice. He went over the services they provide, and asked if we wanted to go ahead and bring Meau in, even though they were closed. Michael took the time out of his day off to come meet us at the Decatur location and take possession of our baby boy. Since this is The Time of COVID, everything was handled in the parking lot. He took our credit card number, brought out the receipt for us to sign, and then very gently and compassionately took Meau in for the cremation the next day. When he saw our cat, he said, "Oh, he's beautiful!" Meau was a particularly beautiful cat, and that just touched our hearts. Michael told us that the urn and the mementos would be ready Monday or Tuesday at the latest. We left feeling so much better about leaving our baby with them. The price was very reasonable, and amazingly, they called us on Monday morning to let us know he was ready to be picked up. My husband went and got the urn with his ashes, as well as the pawprint with his name and the Lock of Love fur token. Since Meau was an orange oriental spotted tabby - a "creamsicle" cat, they gave us both white and orange fur in the memento. How thoughtful! And about a week later, we received a postcard in the mail from them indicating they had donated to an animal charity in Meau's name. I cannot say enough good things about PW&W and Michael, in particular! If you are in need of a compassionate, caring and efficient pet crematory, look no further.

Wonderful people at Paw Whiskers & Wags, they took care of our kitty's remains and delivered the ashes back to us promptly and securely. A compassionate and kind service during a time of loss of our beloved pet.
Sally Whetton
I am truly saddened to read the previous poor reviews of PW&W, as I found the experience to be compassionate, patient, loving and respectful from start to finish. Michael is a warm, caring soul whose genuine empathy shines through in the way he speaks and conducts himself. He was kind and thoughtful, thorough in his communications and very comforting to me when I lost my beautiful 14yr old GSD, Maya. Nothing but positive things to say. Thank you for everything.

We were devastated to lose our beloved sweet Boston Terrier to cancer and decided have him cremated. Our pet was treated with dignity and their services were caring and compassionate. Sadly we lost our other sweet little Boston 8 months later. The staff recognized us and again we treated so tenderly. They have the right people in place for continued success.
Kalli James-Wyrick
I cannot express the appreciation I have for the people and their amazing kindness and sympathy at this terrible time. My friend's pet died horribly suddenly so we took her here and the amount of love they have shown is unbelievable. They were excited to watch videos of our sweet pet, and gave us all lots of hugs. At such a difficult time it was such a relief to leave her with such genuinely caring people.

The loss of a pet is strong and hits you hard....they are more than pets, they are family with unconditional love. When we lost or Great Dane we called Paws, Whiskers & Wags. They were amazing and respectful of our loss and treated us with the utmost of care. I highly recommend this place. They are truly amazing!!!!

This place is the only place I’ve dealt with in any of my 3 pet losses, but as time goes on it seems the front office team is less and less organized.Within the last week I’ve called and hung up on, been answered with “thank you for calling xxx veterinary office” (and, the receptionist said, oh sorry, I get my jobs confused) and had to wait in excess of 30 minutes to pick up my pets remains. I understand errors can happen and people are people but in this industry and whole emotions are high with pet owners encountering this company, those mistakes are more pronounced when you’re already dealing with excess of emotions and this is the last thing you want to be doing. Also, while I know it’s Covid related, you should expect during this time to have your pet remains handed to you through your car window (which broke my heart) or hand off your deceased pet the same way as everything is done in the parking lot with regards to pet transfer.I will say their management team has been nothing short of compassionate and caring and their prices are fair. I would just like to see a little more organization and professionalism in the front office team - perhaps they’re aware of this and working to increase this skill set.I rate them 4 stars only based on the less than professional experience on the phone and in person with the front office team.

I had to take my baby in today for cremation. There is lady there named Marsha she was awesome A1+ very very sweet. She told me about the 360 checking. I’ll definitely use them again. Thank you

My cat passed on about 2 1/2 years ago. The folks at Paws, Whiskers and Wags were very friendly on the phone as they walked me through the cremation options, and I was very touched by the paw print mold as a remembrance since my cat was a Hemingway. When I got the urn, the remains were too large for the vessel and the lid was halfway off (even though the urn was supposedly made for 16 pound cats and mine was 12). Then, I opened the paw print mold to discover that they did the same front paw twice instead of each front paw (easy to tell with Hemingway "thumbs" on a paw). In order to resolve the issue with the urn, I had to leave work to drive all the way to their location on Ponce and pay the difference for a different urn. They did waive the charge for the paw mold. Overall, although the people I spoke with were pleasant, the lack of attention to detail would lead me not to recommend this place.

We lost our 15 yr old Yorkie, Delilah, almost a week ago. Michael came to pick our little girl up and he was so compassionate, caring, and professional. The little wicker bassinet and pink blanket that he brought to pick her up in actually made watching her go out the door easier. You all are amazing people and we can’t thank you enough.

I've dealt with Paws,Whiskets, & Wags a couple of times now and are very conscientious, caring, and preoccupied with ensuring your pet is treated with the upmost care and respect. All the people there are so sweet, Sara was extremely helpful and the Office Manager. Michael, is very service oriented and will ensure you are satisfied. Thank you very much for taking such good care of my pets!!!

These are the some of the kindest and most professional people I’ve met in my life. They really made this process easier for us. Binx was super important to us and they handled him so gently. Please bring your fur babies here when it’s that time. You’ll feel the love and care over the phone before you even show up. Once you’re there it just continues. Best experience I could’ve imagined by far.

Absolutely Wonderful in the way they handled my Quigley. It was more than I could have imagined. I felt like a piece of heaven had opened to receive my dog Quigley. I will never forget how wonderful the staff, facility, and the environment made me feel at this time of loss. They also do this at the best price in Atlanta. This is truly a first rate business and I will never forget the wonderful service and care they gave to me and my Quigley. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Peter Eworonsky
We greatly appreciated the compassion that the staff showed us as we just lost our beloved dog of 13 years. We would highly recommend their cremation services to all who also experience the loss of their family pet members. They are a class A business!

They could have absolutely done better. I am a nurse and I realize times are very different in this Covid world, however the experience I had here this past week was pretty awful.I called and said I was on my way and they said they would get my girl ready. I pulled up and waited in the parking lot. A girl opened the door and yelled at me from to door (while I was in my car)..."have I been helped". I told her I called ahead and was waiting. She seemed confused like she has no idea a client had called for their baby, again could have been honest confusion, which of course does happen.Another girl comes out a few moments later, cracks the front door and again yells at me from my car in the parking lot at least 20 feet from the door "sign and print your name on this sheet of paper" she yells. Then she places my sweet girl in a bag on a table outside of the door and closes the door. That was it. I was not prepped on the phone this is how this would happen. There was absolutely no reason to shout at me through a cracked door "to sign a paper", place my girl on a table and then close the front door before I could even catch my breath. She didn't even come close to my car window to have a conversation like a decent human being, but just yelled from the cracked door of the building. I walked over and looked at this small table that held my baby. Signed her sheet of paper and immediately broke down.As I was walking back to my car she again still does not even come out of the building, but cracks the door and asks "do you need a tissue".I told her that whole process could have been done better. She says shrugs and closes the door again.Folks can go to Starbucks and stand six feet apart, shop at TJ maxx, go to the grocery etc. As a registered nurse of 10 years this place could and SHOULD do better. Yelling instructions through a cracked door is not how I wanted to receive my sweet baby. There are Covid precautions you can take without going this route. And please for the love of god get your staff some sensitivity training.I have used Paws Whiskers and Wags two years ago when my other baby died and it was a totally different experience. This was awful and sadly, you cannot make this up. You have one chance to do this right and they failed my girl this week.I did end up talking to the manager Michael who was very kind and apologetic. There were other clerical errors that happened the morning of them receiving her as well, but picking her up in this manner just tipped it over the edge.I liked them in the past, but if I'm honest, with how they are practicing during Covid, I would avoid. I've heard of another crematory in Brookhaven that is highly recommend by a hospice vet I spoke with before my girls passing, I would encourage others to research that business. I wish I had.Love to all losing their furry family members during these tough times.

My 16 yr old passed away Sunday morning and I almost went to another place but Thank God I ended up here at Paws, Whiskers and Wags. Everyone here from the phone call, greeting me at the door and helping me through this whole process was a blessing to me and my husband. They allowed me to have more time with my baby and waited until my husband showed up to take my Gohan. I can not Thank them all enough for how compassionate you all were with us and handling my baby with care til the end. Thank you!!!
KIG PAINT
When I say this place was so supportive, I mean it. I expected to be rushed on decisions and they were kind and told me don’t rush. I held a service with a gathering of about 10 and still kind, gave me time to process and didn’t rush providing over an hour to view and do the service. Compassion is the word. No upselling done. I can tell you that after the horrific experience with the death of my baby, this made all of the difference as I laid him to rest.

It is never easy to lose a pet. It is one of the most difficult times of pet ownership to face. PWW understands what you are going through and makes the process as easy as possible. They are caring, compassionate, and reliable. Today they are set to cremate my little Acorn. She was an orphaned, 7 week old brown tree squirrel that I have been giving around-the-clock care to since she was 1 day old. Sadly, she started having seizures after she ate. On the day before Thanksgiving, she had a grand mal seizure after her 8 o'clock meal and died in my hands. At only 4 ounces in weight, I was unsure if Paws would cremate her. I sent them a request for information on their website and they called me back within the hour (ON A SUNDAY). If I could give them 100 stars I would.

Everyone at Paws, Whiskers, & Wags are very nice and polite, but if you can ask for Amanda she is the sweetest. She has such a beautiful bubbly personality. At North Hills Animal Hospital we love Amanda.

I would highly recommend this company. They were friendly courteous and very sympathetic to my needs. I had to lay my sweet kitty Angel to rest after 19 years and the services they provide are amazing. Shonte who assisted me in the Marietta office was so kind and helpful. Thank you helping me memorialize my dear Angel perfectly.

I just wanted to share that my wife and I recently visited the Decatur location and we were assisted by Candace. Her and my wife hit it off instantly she was patient and considerate and we really enjoyed working with her so much so that she and my wife exchanged numbers and have become family they talk and hangout daily so thanks paws whiskers and wags for not only helping families but building new families as well .You Guys Rock

Irene Ruelas

There has been no communication from them regarding the disposal of my dog unless I called. NOBODY reached out to say she’d been picked up, I needed to pay, or when to go get her from the vet. NOBODY said anything and because of that, I have zero idea as to how long she’s been held for me to come pick her up! This is completely unacceptable.

When my dog Goldie passed away it was one of the most painful experiences in my life this far. After looking through myriad of options about how to proceed, I gave paws, whiskers and wags a call. Their staff was sensitive to the situation and provided care with outmost respect for Goldie. If you ever do find yourself in my shoes, I know it's tough and all the options may be overwhelming, but this place will do right by your pet.

Every moment from the first call to picking up my baby girl's ashes, the staff was so kind and caring. Prompt and sensitive to your needs. They are true professionals and animal lovers. I'm so glad I chose them.

My Annabel Lee went over the Rainbow Bridge this past week. PWW came highly recommended by a friend and I'm glad I chose this place. I live over an hour away but wanted nothing but the best for my Bella. From my phone call with Michael, to my consultation with Erin, and finally Rob, who ushered my girl on to her next adventure...Everyone was kind and compassionate. They spoke about my baby as if she was theirs. If, at some point, you have to make this hard decision, I highly recommend PWW 💜 Thank you to everyone at PWW 💜

A huge comfort during such a trying time. The personal care they provide for your pet and to you is top notch. This is a great group of people from top to bottom. Don't let your vet talk you into using anyone other than these guys. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Paws, Whiskers & Wags!

My aunt was given Valentino when she was just a freshman in college almost 10 years ago my grandfather took care of Tino in Miami while my aunt completed her studies in Atlanta. It was perfect being that my grandmother passed a few years prior, they were inseparable Valentino loved my grandfather so much until he died. I remember him being so sad he found my grandfather hat and will stick his head in it to keep the scent. Valentino has since then been an emotional support for my aunt being that she lost both parents and most of our family lives in Miami. They were best friends and he kept her sane. It is devastating that we had to say goodbye but this place was just perfect. Kelsey was super nice and professional and assured she gave options so that my aunt will be okay with any special choices. Kelsey thank you sooo much for making this experience so peaceful and fluent. This was my first dog funeral ever and I know Tino is in a better place. Thank you guys for giving my family this peaceful ceremony in the best way possible. Highly recommend !!

Very professional service. Highly recommend this to anyone who has lost a pet. Made me and my fiance feel comforted and relieved that our little guy, Bubba, was well taken cared for. It is never easy to lose a pet. Thank you for everything you did for us.

From the moment I called, to the time I picked my sweet Nestle's cremains up, the staff was very kind and kept me well informed of the process offering thoughtful options such as a clipping of fur or a pawprint. They really have to be special people to do this kind of work and show such compassion to their customers.

My family just visited the location to put to rest our beloved Emma to restand I want to give a special shout out to the young lady who helped us who's name is kandis not only is she attractive on the outside but the inside as well she provided us with exactly what we needed she was quick thorough straight forward and to the point but she was also compassionate, caring and thoughtful she didn't mind sitting with my parents and comforting my father who took Emma's death hard but also repeating everything until they understood because they don't speak English and she would not take the tip we offered she is truly a star in the making and definite management material compared to the others

During an especially stressful time, having to put y beloved Siberian Husky to sleep, the people at Paws, Whiskers and Wags were compassionate, professional and patient. They really shared my pain and that meant a lot.

They are great very caring and understanding at that moment we all have with our fur babies. They have taken care of 2 of my babies Sylvester '15 and Winston '19. Love all the little things that they do to make you feel better.

They responded fast and was very comforting throughout the process. It was a positive experience for my family. Everyone on the phone was also professional and caring. We appreciate how the whole process was handled. Thank you for taking good care of Scooby.

Ms. Marsha did a wonderful job explaining the process of cremation. Such a kind hearted soul and very thoughtful when it comes to seeing your pet as your own child.

Failed to answer phone calls, failed to return call after leaving message. My dog died Monday morning, I called this company FOUR TIMES during its stated hours and all I got was the answering machine. I left a message, it was not returned. There is a great degree of irresponsibility when something like this happens. A dog is dead and arrangements had to be made. The company should be ashamed of itself.

As painful as it is to lose a pet, Paws, Whiskers and Tails made it less painful. While talking to them, they made you feel like you were the only person they are dealing with. They were kind and sympathetic. Thank you Paws, Whiskers and Tails.

Alex is amazing! He was so sweet and caring when he met us with our sweet Stephie. Thank you Alex for making this sad time a little more bearable 💙

I was asked to call and make arrangements for a friends baby, Emily answered the phone, and was the sweetest, most kind person to handle such a phone call. She assured me that their sweet baby would be remembered properly! Thank you. :)

They did an amazing job coordinating with the veterinarian that was coming to my house. Their prices are very fair and customer service seems very understanding of our grief and they were great to deal with. I highly recommend them.

This is truly a first rate business and I will never forget the wonderful service and care they gave to me and my Quigley. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Incredibly compassionate respectful operation. Unlike the "other guys", no question of your pet's remains getting co-mingled, etc. So many options for your budget and ways to honor your fur baby.

I want to explain how hard this process is! To deal with a human death is horrible and extremely emotional but trying to get through a 4 legged loved one is gut wrenching and not what we are used to. I applaud this business for taking extremely great care for everything involved!!!! THANK YOU ALEX AND FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR ME AND MOOSE AND MAX!!!!! ❤
