Despite leaving work early, I ended up arriving a couple of minutes until closing time. Although I expected to be turned away, I was surprised when the person at the front let me in.Not only was I able to pick my dog's ashes up, the person even took her time to explain how to open the box my dog was in as well as what to expect when I opened it up. She even took the time to answer some of my questions and was understanding when I had a hard time speaking because I was trying not to cry.Highly suggest this place.

They cleaned Kidd very well and tied a blue bow around his neck. He looked very beautiful and fresh. I was able to spend time with him before the crematory process (at an extra cost). There’s a book you can write in and you can read previous guest notes which can help you feel a little less alone. When we started the crematory process she gave us time to view him and when we were ready she began. The process only took a couple hours and we had our baby later in the day. He was in a beautiful box with a name plate with his name on it which we were able to pick out what we wanted to say. She also gave me a hug which helped comfort me during this time. Thank you for being so gentle and kind to us during this difficult time. Thank you for taking such good care of Kidd and being in the process of sending him over to the other side.

Our 16.5-year-old dog passed away last week at his favorite park. Since we weren’t prepared for this to happen so soon, we had to bring him to his vet. We signed the cremation papers there, but we couldn’t let him go just like that. So over the weekend, we reached out to Pet Angel and arranged a private cremation for February 11, 2025.The staff was incredibly warm and compassionate. We would especially like to thank Paul, who cared for our little one with such a personal and respectful touch throughout the entire process. Despite some miscommunication about the cremation date, Paul’s experience ensured everything went smoothly, and we didn’t need to reschedule.I was able to stay there the entire time, and everything was explained clearly and with kindness, helping me understand each step. This was undoubtedly one of the hardest moments for our family, and we are deeply grateful to Pet Angel for taking such good care of our little one and guiding him on his journey to the other side.

I can’t thank Pet Angel enough for helping our family during one of the most difficult times. We lost our Leo at age 5 to cancer. The staff counselor contacted us and explained their services. They showed empathy and compassion as if they knew our sweet boy. And the beautiful hand carved box that his ashes are in is so beautiful and special. I highly recommend Pet Angel if you want to work with people who truly care.

I can’t say enough good things about this service. In January of 2022 we lost our Logan boy (golden-collie mix) and then in June of 2024 his long time companion Darby girl (hound mix) went to join him in the great k9 beyond. Darby’s urn came back with her name engraved and although Logan’s urn was the same design, his name was not engraved. I called them to see if we could pay them to engrave Logan’s urn in the same manner as Darby’s. They graciously sent us a new urn for our boy with his name engraved, at no charge! What great compassionate customer service. Thank you so much!

Losing a pet is so incredibly hard, but Pet Angel Memorial Center has helped bring a sense of peace to our family with their cremation service. We have lost 6 pets in 9 years and have entrusted Pet Angel with all of our animals. They are kind, compassionate and very professional. I can honestly say I trust them wholeheartedly.
Kate Guanci
I’ve sadly lost two pets in the last year. Pet Angel was so professional, kind, and helpful. They are a wonderful company that I will return to when the future dictates it. Can’t say enough good things about a sad situation.
Zach Weers
They took precious care of my furbaby Fonzi and had him back in my possession within days! Staff is caring, supportive and informative on what they offer. Highly recommend for your pet's after care needs!

Pet Angel Memorial is the best they've taken care of 2 of my babies. Everything was great. I had the opportunity to connect with Raven, she was so kind during my loss of Lil' Buddy I know talking to me wasn't easy I was so broken just like the time when I lost my sweet Lucky. I was left feeling confident that even after death they took great care of my babies.
Daryl Moscoso
The most kind and compassionate staff. Navigating loss, grief, and options for your loved pet can be overwhelming but the time that’s taken with you to explain the process, the options and checking on you afterwards. Even the packaging is beautiful. And the unexpected little paw print with his name will be treasured forever.

We have used Pet Angels for 6 pets. They are compassionate and communicate well. We had our lost loved ones home quickly. Many levels of service offered from simple to grand.

We lost our sweet Roo on 8/16/2024. The care that Pet Angle Memorial Center showed my sweet girl was outstanding! Thank you for taking such amazing care of my baby!

My dog was an emotional support animal and her passing came very unexpected and was very hard on me. This memorial center answered every question I had and did not rush me when it came to deciding what I wanted and made sure that even when I picked an urn that I was happy with it when it came in. I choose a merble urn and they all come in different. They made sure I was happy with the coloring and everything before I paid for it. Honestly all their help and options made this process so much easier for me. Although I'm still struggling with my dogs passing, their knowledge/support made this part much easier. They were very sympathetic of my loss. Would highly recommend them. I will choose them again in the future.

The staff were so warm and comforting through the whole process. Everyone spoke in such a personal and respectful manner about our sweet Temperance, like she was also part of their family. Everything was explained directly and compassionately so we understood what was happening at each step. They made a terrible time so much easier for our family and I’ll never forget the love they’ve shown us.

We had a great experience using this company at one of the most devastating time in our lives. We took our sweet girl Molly to the Austell location where Lori helped us pick the urn and other items that worked best for remembering our angel. I can't express enough how wonderful the staff was. Lori and the other staff member listened to us tell about Molly and how great she was. You can tell it's not just a job, they truly care. Our Molly girl was one in a million and i was assured that she was in good hands and would be treated with care. Your caring made us feel just a little better despite missing Molly so much.

Our sweet boy, Joey, passed away last Monday. He was 15 and had an insurmountable medical issue. We had used a different cremation service in the past. I have to say, our Joey was returned to us in a beautiful wooden box with a moving certificate. I am grateful for they care they showed.

At a very difficult and painful time, Laura and ALL the folks @ Deceased Pet Care took the time to listen, sincerely gather the final wishes and precisely carried them out. We originally had 3 babies...(2) of them 15yrs. and 16yrs. The 15 year old transitioned first. And we will be using the services again for our 16 year old. PLEASE give the fine people @Deceased Pet Care an opportunity to service your family at that most sensitive and tender time....we did!

This is a wonderful business. The staff is thoughtful and very kind. We were beyond devastated to loose our dear Henry but the services offered by Deceased Pet Care helped with the healing and now seeing him memorialized throughout our home, in the form of keepsakes available, have warmed our hearts and left me confident that we'll be able to keep his memory alive.

I've used this group for years. They always take care of things well. It's a safe and calming environment. I just recently lost my almost 18yo baby kitty who I rescued from literally running across traffic in front of my car back in 2006 when she was only 3 weeks old. They cared about my story and engaged to know more. It really helped the situation even though I knew she would pass soon. The velvet bag, pawprint, etc. were a super nice touch too. I will use them again when needed.

Having my first pet loss was definitely a very intensive experience…. I had so many “what ifs “ I just really want to thank deceased pet care for taking the time to answer all my questions…. I finally received the cremations of my beautiful Wolfie.. what a relief to have her home… All the products I purchased were very organized very well presented. I generally felt like they cared that was the most important thing…. Thank you again ❤️🐶

My baby of 11 1/2 years passed away on March 7, 2024. It was very devastating for me because I bottle fed him until he was old enough to eat on his own and when he opened his eyes I was the first one he saw and when he passed away, I was the last one he saw. Deceased pet care and bold springs vet care made his passing somewhat tolerable. I don’t think I could have gotten through this difficult time if it weren’t for them. They did my sweet baby justice in the care they took of him. He will be forever missed, but I’m so thankful for those amazing women that took so great care of him. I would definitely recommend both places for your pets life and at the end of your pets life.
Sheila Thompson
I can't say enough good words about Deceased PetCar and their knowledgable, caring personnel. At such a difficult time, it is so important to have kind people to speak with at a trusted company.
Stephanie N.
Really sympathetic and kind staff. However after having two other pets' remains cremated at another crematorium, I have to say that this place is over charging. We did the same process and received beautiful boxes with paw prints on clay, and it was so much cheaper. At deceased pet care, we got a tin can and a post card with my dogs paw print (off center and not a good print), which cost more money than the beautiful box and customized paw print with name on clay at this other facility (private cremation). Pretty disappointed now looking back and will be using the other facility from now on.
Gina Taylor
Thank you for our beautiful cremation box for our beloved Bella! Such a tough and heartbreaking experience to lose her so suddenly, but thankful to have these beautiful memories to cherish. She left her paw prints on my heart, thank you for everything! ❤️

Lori in Austell is the most compassionate, caring and professional person I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in this lifetime! She took such care in arrangements for my baby Roscoe; down to staying later on a Friday afternoon so I could pick him up and bring him home. The personal care and sentiment that was shown exceeds any expectations and it was sincere and thoughtful and genuine! I praise this family owned business for the personal touches and at an affordable price that also shows they genuinely care about our beloved pets. I will sing their praises and recommend them to any and all persons I come in contact with. I lost my baby unexpectedly and Lori exhibited such empathy and compassion and kindness….Businesses such as this are hard to find, as they aren’t just about how they can charge you in grief, they focused more on how they can make sure you are doing well…Just wow! Thank you so so so much Lori, i am forever grateful for you and all you did to make my Roscoe feel safe and comfortable 😊 Tracey Smith

Thank you for helping us during a very difficult time. Sparkles was my beloved friend and companion for over 15 years. She was a beautiful Golden Retriever who was loved very much and loved everyone she met. When we brought her to Deceased Pet Care and said our final goodbyes, Maddie treated Sparkles with the utmost of respect, even placing a pillow under her head. Today, Sparkles came home in the beautiful urn we picked out for her. We really appreciate the care and professionalism.

I would just like to say thank you to everyone involved at deceased pet care. Everything from the communication, transportation, customer service, funeral home, and most importantly the funeral director Paul, was beautiful. Although I’m extremely heartbroken and picking up the pieces from my dog Black passing.. you all made this experience very pleasant and did so with so much compassion, patience, and care. Special thanks to Paul! I won’t go into so much detail but he was a real treasure to our family in this difficult time. I love how he took his time to explain things and no detail went unnoticed. I felt very comforted knowing my boy was in his hands. Everything was so smooth and we had such a beautiful service for Black, I couldn’t ask for more. God bless you all and thank you!
Michael Murphy
I have to give my heartfelt thanks to Maddie and the staff here at deceased pet care. They were compassionate and super caring with me, and took great lengths to be sure that my baby Scarlett was handled with respect while in their care. They went out of their way to make sure this process was as easy as it could be in this tough time of grief.

Thank you for taking such good care of my beloved Moses after his passing. For giving me options to make me feel less guilty about cremating him. For having him come back to me so fast. I was having a hard time without him by my side. Now he's back with me. Until we meet again to cross the Rainbow Bridge together.

Hand down the best place to assist with my greatest tragedy. I sadly lost my beloved cat. He passed and that same day I was able to bring him to this location. They helped me so much in making sure my baby was well taken care of. I’m so grateful to them and know if anyone else has to live what I did. I’d recommend our fur babies to this location. ❤️ Thank you for taking care of Garfield and making sure he was able to come back him where he belongs.

Deceased Pet Care was very professional. I have used their services for two of my pets. Both times I was treated as if it was a human family member. If I ever need this type of service in the future, they will be my first choice.

I have used this company in the past and was pleased. Today I received a call to set up arrangements for my girl. Not one time did the representative of Deceased Pet Care express their condolences. Not once. Let that sink in. It was a cut and dried transaction as if I was ordering a piece of furniture. It left me with an empty feeling and wondering how my pets remains would be handled. I’m very sad about losing my little girl and this didn’t help.

Our 16 year old minpin-chihuahua was in great hands with Deceased Pet Care. We brought him in at 8:30am and had his remains by 12:30pm. Would have given 5 stars but the front desk receptionist goofed up and caused us almost half an hour wait for the cremation portion to begin by bringing other people in ahead of us. Aside from that, it was a calm, quiet and peaceful send-off to our beloved fur-baby.

As sad as it is to having lost my furbaby. The services provided for me by the Pet Angel team were wonderful. I couldn't have asked for better services.

During a horrible time with the loss of our sweet boy, PAMC was kind, thoughtful, and fast. In a moment when we needed closure, they supplied it. And we couldn’t appreciate that more.

I have utilized the services of Deceased Pet Care for over 35 years. The staff understands the loss of my fur babies and treated me with compassion and patience. Highly recommended during a difficult time.

Raven was lovely and very caring, thank you for making a tragic event for us more bearable. Losing our little Marvin was heartbreaking.

My experience with Pet care services were warm, caring & spiritual. Counseling was right on point, thank you so. Mozart’s transition through their care put my mind more at peace.

This company was very professional, but compassionate at a difficult time for us. My little dog's ashes were packaged with great care. I am so thankful they took care of my sweet baby.

I've always appreciated how you guys have taken great care of our clients and their pets. Last week I had to let my own pet, Gracie, cross over the rainbow bridge. I just wanted to say thank you for taking care of my sweet girl. I wouldn't have trusted anyone else with her care.Melissa - Chestatee Animal Hospital

This was my first time losing a dog. It has been very painful, but the people running Deceased Pet Care were very comforting, warm and kind. They prayed over our darling dog and treated him with honor and respect, as he deserved. These are great people doing a beautiful service for pet owners. Thank you all very much.

I loved my experience with Pet Angel Memorial Center. They were all so kind and understanding. The products used to hold our beloved cat's ashes was beautiful. And the pawprint in plaster was beautiful made me cry

I cannot say enough good things about this company. We lost our sweet 16-year-old Paris, and they helped us honor her and provide us with closure as we process this tremendous loss. Her ashes arrived on time in a beautiful wooden box. I wasn't expecting the box to be as lovely as it was. We dealt with a wonderful woman named Lori, who was extremely compassionate and helpful. I am forever grateful for the service and care we received from this company.

My sweet girl passed away unexpectedly. As you can imagine, I was distraught and unprepared. I'm so happy I was offered the services of Deceased Pet Care. I had no I idea what I wanted when I made the initial call to finalize Leia's affairs. Esther (the counselor) could sense that I was all over the map and suggested I come in early. She was really sweet on the phone. I'm so thankful she anticipated my needs because I changed my mind about everything and there was plenty of time to make the changes. Mr. Paul (the attendant) was flexible and honored all my wishes. He worked so hard to make sure my baby was taken care of with dignity and respect. She looked beautiful (and this was three days after her passing). He was so professional and made sure I felt 'right at home'. There were no surprises and he kept me informed of the whole process (I ultimately chose the same day service with chapel time and viewing of her remains in and out of the crematorium. I'm so grateful I was able to witness the whole process as it brought me closure). I'd like to add that the facility is immaculate and well maintained. It is very warm and inviting. My only suggestion to pet owners is to visit Deceased Pet Care and get your pet's affairs in order well before they pass. However, know that if you don't, this place will still take great care of you and your baby.

The staff is amazingly kind, understanding and patient. They had no problem going over every detail thoroughly, explaining everything. Even calling to double check the info before, actually, starting anything on our pet. The list of different options is vast and the pricing, although expensive, is the lowest in comparison to any other of it's kind. I was extremely happy with how they presented my pet to me and the gorgeous way we would be able to present him.

Losing a loved family pet is a traumatic experience and one that often requires a lot of support to get through. My wife and I were drawn here initially due to mostly positive reviews and proximity to us in Historic Brookhaven, which we followed up with an on site visit. We were told in person when visiting, as their website confirms, that if our pet were to pass after hours, they could meet us after hours. This morning I called during after hours when our dear 19 and a half year old Jack Russell Terrier was being put down after struggling with kidney disease. This staff member told me that their website was incorrect and had been for years as they do NOT accept “deceased pets” after hours and apparently they shared with me that this happens often where they have turned away deceased pets during after hours, and yet no one has updated this on their website after all this unnecessary heartache. Fortunately we found a competitor that was more than happy to help since we now would never recommend anyone using this company unless they’re more transparent. It’s quite a toll to coordinate between euthanasia and cremation of your loved family pet. I would now never recommend this pet funeral home unless things changed to make it easier on pet owners.

I can't think of a better place to handle the losses we've sustained. They are comforting and compassionate without being fake or forced. Our loved ones sleep well because we had their help. Kind, affordable, and understanding when you lose your loved one unexpectedly and aren't prepared for the loss or the cost. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a need.
Melissa Garrett
I wish I could give more stars. Everyone here, from the man who picked my baby up to the two ladies that I spoke to on the phone, were so kind and compassionate. The box is beautiful and the paw print was perfect and I had my baby back quickly. I highly recommend Deceased Pet Care if you want the best for your baby.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE - VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDEDI carried my beloved dog into Deceased Pet Care on a Monday, and was immediately helped by Paul Wilson. Paul is a compassionate, heart-felt, friendly, respectful, and understanding man who knows from personal experience how saddening and distressing it feels to lose a pet who is a dear family member. He is a really good guy - the best.He is right there with you, emotionally, while you decide on how to commemorate your pet's life and how to prepare their remains.Every interaction that I had with Paul was easy, peaceful, reassuring, and emotionally validating. I knew what services I wanted, although not everyone does, and Paul made the whole experience of cremating my beloved dog easy and very respectful. He pays attention to and takes care of the details, while still remaining human and caring.By Wednesday my loving pet was ready for a private cremation, and I was joined by a neighbor who also instantly liked Paul, and who agreed that he is an angel. This place is superb. I can't think of one way that they could have made the experience better for me because they took care of me. I have high standards, and Paul and Deceased Pet Care exceeded them by far.If I need this service again for a future pet then Paul would get my business again, no question about it. Call them, because you will be glad that you did.

I can’t say enough how valuable this place has been to our family. We had limited contact, as it was and continues to be very difficult; but, all of the dialogue exchanged between Deceased Pet Care and myself was professional, courteous, and informative. Highly recommend for those of you facing this inopportune time. Thank you DPC staff.

The staff at Deceased Pet Care provide the same sympathy a close friend or relative would give. They are so courteous and understanding. My family has used their services twice. I've done a viewing service and it was very nicely done. I got a paw print from them too. I cannot say enough great things about them! Simply so grateful for their services.

She was very patient with me on making the final arrangements for my furbaby (cat). They have many options. They emailed expected delivery and also followed up after the fact and even offered grief counseling. I would highly recommend them.

I wish I wasn't posting this at all, but as it is, they were incredible. They were very thoughtful, caring and had a good variety of options for a grieving pet parent. I highly recommend them.

The cost is unrealistic. As someone that has work in the veterinary industry for almost 10+years this is truly heartbreaking. Not only did I loose my best friend but then you are going to charge me $250 to have her taken care of. That’s just cremation no extras. But let’s also touch on keepsake price $65 for a paw print and $45 for an ink nose print is ABSURD. If I had known ahead of time I would have spent $25 at hobby lobby and gotten clay and ink to do my own prints. Also they dropped my pet of at the animal hospital after hours. The staff at DPC lied to me and said that they had a key to the building to drop my pet off. My husband is the vet tech at that vet hospital and confirmed while I was on the phone with DPC that they do NOT. This led to extreme stress, anxiety, and worry that my pet and keepsakes had been left on the clinic door step. I had to sit and wait for a call that took the better part of 2+ hours to find out where my pet had been left. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had when a pet has passed away. I will never recommend DPC. Also being told there was a $30 fee to go pick my pet up from her rdvm and drop her back off is crazy to me. That’s a weeks worth of gas! Clearly this is not about taking care grieving families that have lost their fur babies. The ladies that handled my case were very nice and did their best that’s the only reason this has 2 stars. I give zero otherwise.

Amazing experience with Deceased Pet Care. We had to euthanize our beloved Pearl at our home (also had a great vet from Paws to Wings perform an in-home euthanasia for us), and were directed to use Deceased Pet Care to take care of our cremation needs. My husband and I were very impressed with their kindness, patience, and efficiency. We were never left wondering where our sweet Pearl was. We were informed about everything that was happening with him and we were given in-depth directions about the process of his cremation. I spent an hour on the phone with one employee, Lenee, who was so caring and patient with me as I picked out what memorial items I wanted. When I chose jewelry, she helped me pick out the perfect engravings for the pendants and never once showed any sign of impatience or annoyance at how long it was taking me. She was happy to help me and keep me calm while I was very heartbroken and trying to make decisions. When I realized I wanted to include a blanket with Pearl for him to be cremated with, she said no problem at all and took care of getting me to drop the blanket off at the right place and she took care of getting it to Pearl and making sure he wouldn’t be cremated without it. She also assured me that they had ash tracking so that I would absolutely end up with Pearl and not another pet. When I went to pick up Pearl’s ashes, there was a kind man who presented Pearl to us and took care of us while we were there. We were never rushed or ignored. Excellent place (except for the death circumstances leading you to need them) to use. They really know what they’re doing and how to keep you comfortable during such a difficult time.
Hannah Morris
We had a very positive experience. This was the first time we have had to euthanize a pet, and it was excruciatingly sad. Lenee was kind and considerate, and helped us honor our dog in a special way. Her compassion and understanding made a terrible situation as good as it could possibly be. It was very helpful to have them coordinate all of the arrangements with the vet (Noah's Bark).
Laura
I was devastated with the loss of my dog, Carter. I was at an emergency vet and signed some papers, not knowing where he would go. The next day I got a phone call and was able to arrange and finalize his plans and memorialize him. Upon picking him up, I was met with such compassion and professionalism. He was presented to me so I could take him home. Thank you so much for your services and taking some of the weight off of my heart.I know when that time comes again for another pet, I will use Deceased Pet Care.
Sheri Lenyk
They are wonderful during such a heart breaking time. They came to my vet so that I would not have to make the drive (an extra charge I'm sure, but worth the safety of not driving while crying). They were extremely compassionate on the phone while explaining everything. And when I picked up my Juliet, the gentleman clearly was heartbroken for me. I could simply tell that he genuinely cared about my loss. Yes, this is a business, but they understand our love for our furbabies.
Jennifer E Quattlebaum
I would highly recommend Deceased Pet Care. I was very impressed with the caring and compassionate service I received after the passing of my sweet cat. Deceased Pet Care worked with my veterinarian to pick up her remains and then contacted me about the services and products they offer. I spoke with Laura on the phone and she was wonderful! She helped me choose a beautiful, personalized urn for my cat's remains. Deceased Pet Care returned my cat's remains back to my veterinarian and I was able to pick them up from there. Laura also sent me the link for an online pet loss support group that Deceased Pet Care offers. I truly appreciate all of the kindness and compassion I received from this company during such a difficult time!

I don’t write reviews often but this place definitely deserves one. For those who don’t care to read I’ll tell you this, Deceased Pet Care is the perfect place for cremating your loved pets. The amount of care and comfort as well as security I felt using this place is exactly what people need when losing something close to their hearts. I can’t thank the staff enough for being so gentle, kind, and on time. My pet was ready to come home well before the estimated time. Everything about this place was perfect. From the first phone call all the way through pick up. Everything was thorough, careful, and coordinated. I was really worried about trusting someone to take good care of my pet and their remains but after this experience, this place has my full trust.

Laura and everyone was so very understanding and caring during this difficult time of the loss of our furbaby.Although saying goodbye was extremely difficult; Deceased Pet Care made the process a little easier. Everyone that I had any contact with was very knowledgeable; caring and treated me as if I was their only client. They answered all questions I had; never rushed me (especially when I was crying) and took the time to be very considerate when explaining the process of what to expect.Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately if you are reading this review, you have or are going to lose a pet. We can tell you that when we lost our Bulldog (Gus) suddenly, we had no idea of where to begin when it came to having him cremated. Luckily the emergency vet that we had taken him to worked with Deceased Pet Care and got us in touch with them. Gus died on a Sunday and we were able to call and talk to someone Sunday evening. From the time that we first called them, to them giving us Gus's ashes, Deceased Pet Care delivered top notch service. They called me as soon as they had picked up Gus from the emergency vet and ensured us he was in good hands. When we arrived the next day for the same day cremation service, we were greeted by Paul. Paul worked with us through the entire process and was amazing! We had an hour to spend with Gus and he was presented to us as if he was sleeping. They have a private room for this service if you chose to have it, and I would highly recommend it. They truly treat your pet as a member of the family. They made us feel like we were the only ones there and that it was all about Gus. They were very gentle and respectful of Gus, and handle him with very good care. We can't express how grateful we are for Deceased Pet Care, they gave us a day to have some closure and say goodbye to our best friend.

Wonderfully compassionate customer service!

I've used Deceased Pet Care twice now. They make a gut wrenching event more bearable. Everyone is caring, professional and knowledgeable. Laura even came up with the inscription on the urn since I was having so much trouble with it myself, and I couldn't be happier with the end result. They were first recommended to me by our family vet of 20+ years, who we trust deeply. I will recommend Deceased Pet Care to everyone I know.

All of the people at Deceased Pet Care are extremely kind, loving and compassionate. They have beautiful facilities, and take great care with everything they do. We have used their services several times over the years, and I would not go anywhere else. My husband and I are grateful for their services. I highly recommend them.

It was a good experience, they were very understand and helpful with the whole process and let me know they would take good care of him. It gave me piece of mind that they took their time and took care of everything during this difficult time.

I was skeptical of pet funeral homes at first cremating our beloved Benji, but boy was I wrong. This was the most comforting and precise service I could ever imagine for our deceased fur baby, no need to hear from others, this place set the bar at an unreachable level for comfort and customer service.

I can’t thank them enough! I lost my baby Brittany Nichole (Yorkie) two weeks ago. She was my companion for 13 years. Their care and compassion will always be appreciated! I was devastated and broken. They were so very kind and let me cry and say my final goodbye without rushing me. She is now safe with me and her urn is beautiful. The packaging is high quality! Thank you so very much ❤️

I have used Deceased Pet Care twice now over the years. Both times I have been blown away by their customer service, compassion and professionalism. They treated my pets as family members, showing them the utmost respect. Both times, deceased pet care came to my house to pick up my dogs, making very difficult days more manageable. I can’t say enough good times about this company.

Decreased Per Care took great care of my pet and returned his remains in a lovely carved box and a beautiful carrying bag with his name to ensure it was my pet. The staff was very helpful in helping me make the right decisions on memorial products. They were kind and understanding. I highly recommend them for taking care of your pet when they pass away. So sad but very loving people who understand your pain.

Losing Molly was hard but your services and caring made this easier. Thank you!

I was very impressed by the service I received. I felt understood and well cared for. I had no idea what to expect since Buddy was my first dog. DPC was very caring and sympathetic about our loss. They were very clear and up front regarding the costs and what to expect. Highly recommended.

Losing our beloved Josie has been one of the hardest, most painful trials of our lives, but the compassionate care of the good people at Deceased Pet Care was such a blessing during such a trying time. They handled our sweet dog with such dignity and respect, and even helped us track down her blanket when it got lost in the shuffle. They showed such kindness and empathy, and offered lovely services and memorial items at very reasonable prices. They even offer complimentary group therapy with a licensed therapist for those struggling to cope with their loss— how lovely! I will recommend them to any unfortunate friends who find themselves in need of their services in the future, without hesitation. Thank you for everything you did for us and for Josie, from the bottom of our hearts. We’ll never forget it!

This is a wonderful facility to call when your pet passes away. The staff is very understanding and compassionate.

I cannot speak highly enough of Deceased Pet Care. I recently had to euthanize my 31 year old mare. The decision was made on a Sunday to be performed the next day because of her rapidly declining health. Deceased Pet Care was incredibly accommodating by returning my calls that Sunday and getting everything arranged for the following day. Every other location I had tried would not answer calls on Sunday. Because it was a horse cremation, there were not many options to begin with. Deceased Pet Care drove out of their normal range to come to my boarding barn. Their driver who came to collect my horse (sorry, can't remember his name) arrived exactly when we asked him to and showed extreme care and compassion during the entire process of collecting my mare after she had passed. Horses are such big animals that I'm sure the process can and should be somewhat awkward, but he was incredibly gentle with her throughout. I was very appreciative to see him take the care that he did. I moved away from GA to NJ a few months ago and Deceased Pet Care could not have made the long-distance process easier on me. The company also told me it would be a week between the cremation and when I would receive her ashes in Jersey and my girl arrived safely home exactly a week later. I would recommend their services to anyone. Thank you, Deceased Pet Care, for making my mare's passing just a little bit easier.

I've debated between 2 and 3 stars for this review since yesterday. I'm ultimately going with 3 because the majority of the interactions I had with the staff here was positive... except for one major, major issue. My 6-year-old cat Jimi passed away very unexpectedly this week. Our vet recommended Deceased Pet Care, and so that was what we went with. The director was the one who guided us through what we would like done with his remains, and he was very courteous and understanding of our grief. He is the one who recommended we get a hair clipping from him to remember him by, and after some debate, we decided for it.We got the call a few days later to pick him up. The urn was small and tasteful. The plaque was beautifully done. But the hair clipping was missing. The woman helping us this time went to check for it, but it turned out that they had forgotten to do it. Someone had missed the note to do the clipping. They upgraded his urn for free, but it doesn't change that we wanted that hair clipping to remember him by.I didn't find the woman to be kind or sympathetic, not like the original man we spoke to. If I had to hazard a guess, I think she was more concerned with us threatening to sue or something. All I could think was that, in a human funeral home, wouldn't this be like neglecting the family's instructions about how a deceased family member wanted to be remembered, like dressing grandma in someone else's clothes for the funeral.Others may have had good experiences with this company, but they have given me no reason to trust them right out the gate.

I use Coweta Animal Hospital for all of our vet needs. I lost my service dog, Gen. Patton, of 8 years to Lymphoma right before Christmas. I wanted him cremated. Coweta Animal Hospital, the best vet office I have ever been to, took care of everything. I did not know what to expect. I picked him up from the vet's office and Gen. Patton had been cremated and sealed into a beautiful wooden box. There was a certificate of cremation and a card full of resources. I cannot tell you what an amazing job Deceased Pet Care and the Shugart Family did. I will always been so appreciative for how they treated my best friend with dignity and care. Great service.

Although our vet recommended another crematory, we had good experiences here in the past so I returned to Deceased Pet Care when my dog Necie died. They did not disappoint. This is a difficult but much appreciated job.I’m glad that they have been here for my 3 much loved pets (and me) when we needed them.

Deceased Pet Care and Dr Clay Allen helped us with all of our needs for the end of our 16 yr old Beaux's life. Everyone was helpful & very caring during this difficult time. We loved having Dr. Allen come to our home for Beaux's end of life. What an amazing and compassionate doctor. It was so comforting to be with Beaux in his normal setting and having Dr. Allen take him to Deceased Pet Care for us. I highly recommend this option. The Rosewood box that we have Beaux's ashes in is beautiful. Thanks to everyone that helped us through this time.
Frances Turner
Our vet arranged for Deceased Pet Care to take care of 18.5-year-old cat after he'd passed away, and I'm so glad they did! They handled the cremation with compassion, tact and understanding, and they never tried to upsell us or play on our grief. Their facility is LOVELY and their employees are fantastic. I hope I won't need them again for a very long time, but if I do I'm so very glad they're here.

When we lost our two dogs within a week of each other the people at Deceased Pet Care took wonderful care of us and our beloved dogs. I can't say enough good things about them and their services. They were such a blessing at such an awful time.

Our beloved dog passed away recently, and we brought him in as soon as they opened at 8 AM on Tuesday. Was told it would take 4 business days for the standard option, and 4 business days should’ve been Friday. So, I called and spoke with Gail and I simply asked if our dog was ready to be picked up, and her response was “we will call you when he’s ready.” Not much compassion from her when our dog recently passed, and we’re eager to bring him back home to us. Doesn’t seem like they enjoy when customer’s call asking about pickup. Sorry for calling to check and see if our dog was ready when we were told 4 business days

I just received my beloved Lovebug’s Pet ashes in a tin can that probably cost $1.00. Not a paw print, not some of his fur. It is the cheapest I have ever gotten back from any other crematory service. They blamed it on the clinic were we had to put him to sleep. They never called to make sure that this was the very cheapest route we wanted. Now it is too late. He was my beloved companion and all they could say was “sorry” and blame it all on the clinic. The least they could have done is saved some of his fur and do an ink paw print (if the are so concerned about the buck). This was not just a dog for me. He was the most sweet, kind and gentle dog I have ever owned. Now all I have is his ashes in this cheap tin box. If you want something where your dog is treated more like your Beloved special companion use another place and save the wrenching heart ache I now feel.

My vet recommended DPC to look after the cremation and memorial for my sweet dog Ruba. They were sensitive, timely and affordable. I was glad to find someone to handle our arrangements so lovingly.

I have used Deceased Pet Care since 1996, when my beloved cat of almost 20 years died. I have used them extensively since then for ALL of my deceased pet care needs and have never been unhappy. They're really like any human funeral home. They know what to say and when to say it. I would recommend them to anyone!

My 14 yr old Jack Russell, Otis, had to be euthanized due to liver cancer. Many of you can imagine the sadness and pain of losing a pet (family member) after that many years. I had to go it alone when it came time to put him down. Deceased Pet Care was recommended by my Vet so I used them for the first time. The process went really well. They picked him up and processed his remains. They are very respectful, empathetic, and professional. When I picked up his remains, I was treated with care and respect. The box he was in, certificate, and the paw print are well done and offer as much comfort as they can. If you are ever faced with the sad loss of a pet you can trust Deceased Pet Care, with no worries, to take care of your beloved pet's remains in the best way possible. Thank you again DPC.

These are the most compassionate people. When I lost my lit Reno in March of 2021, their wonderful staff helped me through a very rough time and took care of my lit Reno with such care, love and respect. Then they reached out to me to see if I was okay... In today's time I found that very kind and refreshing. Highly recommend

The staff, especially Lenee, made an absolutely horrible experience just a tad better with their compassion, sympathy, and patience while letting me grieve but also walking me through their process, services, and products. She wanted me to know everything they do so I was well informed to make the best decision possible. Again, during a tragic time, Lenee went above and beyond and made at least this process a bit better.

With going through such a tough time losing a pet/family member, Deceased Pet Care has been so very courteous, kind and respectful. We have used their cremation services 2x for our elderly companions. We've had the best experience possible under the circumstances and highly recommend them for anyone in the same situation.

My mother beloved Snuffy died after 15 years...I am currently deployed and my mother didn't know what do.... they were amazing. They picked up her body.... called when she arrived at the facility. They were kind, caring... just AMAZING!! I used them when my Charlie died* my little snuff puff*😪. They truly helped me.... being that I was in NJ.... they kept me posted on every step. Thank you all for taking such wonderful care of our furr babies. 🥰🥰

This was my second visit and I felt everyone was very kind and patient and helpful. I am grateful that the location is not far from where I live. I was able to have my dog in the chapel which brought me a tremendous amoung of peace between my tears. The environment is nice and calm and quiet, and I felt the staff cared when helping me. I felt the costs were fair....the only thing seemed unfair was the fact my furry child was not with me anymore.

Wonderful company for your pet’s final care. They were understanding & kind. While I hate that anyone has to go through this, I certainly would recommend this company when the time comes. Ours was unexpected & sudden & they were just top notch w/ us.

Deceased Pet Care helped to make losing our beloved Rocky more bearable. I was really impressed with the beautiful way his remains were presented to us. It touched my heart when she told me that they said a prayer for Rocky. I was very pleased and would highly recommend them if you've loss your pet.

We lost our beloved dog last Friday. After an initially great experience, with mid week follow up from the office, I am now frustrated and more heartbroken then ever. During our initial phone call I was advised my sweet girl’s remains would be ready by Thursday (yesterday) or today. We paid an extra fee to have her brought back to our vet’s office, and I was assured I would receive a call to confirm when she was ready for pick up. Three days ago, I was called and again assured she would be ready today. It is now Friday evening, my vet does not have her and has had no communication from Deceased Pet Care, I can’t get a call back from them, and we are left going into our weekend not having a clue where our precious pet is or when we might have her back. I had zero qualms about paying a high fee to have my girl’s remains handled with care and respect, but it’s like once they charge your credit card, they completely stop caring. Our family is absolutely horrified and wondering if we will even get our sweet girl’s remains back at all.

This is Bruiser. We affectionately called him Chernobyl dog when he had to get his grooming done by me his loving daddy during the Covid-19 pandemic. He was 16 years old and was blind and deaf and we made the hard decision to put him to sleep on Feb 6th, 2021 because of his declining health. My husband and I had him for every day of his life and he knew nothing but love and hippieness. There were times when he ate and we did not while we were in collage but we all survived it together as one big happy family. Deceased Pet Care, was amazing in their help with his cremation and their kindness and respectfulness was very welcome and needed. The Urn, paw print, and glass pendant is truly amazing and their attention to detail was heart warming. We had never had to do this before and they helps us in everyway. Even to text us and let us know they had support groups to aid us if needed. We miss our boy. I hope you never have to use their services but if you do find yourself looking for a number I hope you chose them.

My Vet ( Morrow Animal Hospital) assisted me with the process of getting my dog cremated. This was my first time dealing with “Deceased Pet Care” and I have to say that I am extremely pleased. My pets’ remains were treated respectfully, the presentation was beautiful and I am so very grateful to Miss. Joann (Morrow Animal Hospital) and the People at Deceased Pet Care.Thank you all for making this just a little easier 😊

Tina Chen

Very caring and comprehensive services. Staff are patient and comforting. Very supportive of grieving pet-parents. Would definitely recommend highly when anyone has these difficult choices.
Debbie Garzon
A wonderful experience, I felt their warmth and kindness at a very different time. Greatly appreciated. Thank you
Marcia Pinigis
We received such loving care from everyone at Deceased Pet Care. During such a difficult time they made us feel like part of their family. They were very sensitive to our needs and made sure our wishes were carried out. Thank you to everyone at Deceased Pet care for making an unbearable time easier.

I truly can't explain the comfort these guys provided when we unexpectedly had to put our 5 year old pup to sleep. Every person we talked to here assured us that Grunt would be in the very best of hands and made us feel like he would be loved throughout the cremation process. The items we selected are just beautiful, but I can't say enough about the people here. While I hope we don't need their services for our other babies for many years, we know who we will trust with our most precious treasures when the time comes.

I’ve done business several times over the years with Deceased Pet Care, and I recommend them most wholeheartedly. They are caring, compassionate, understanding, and very patient with a pet owner who going through one of theIr worst times ever. New to me is they can get a paw print from your pal so you have a permanent remembrance, which is just a lovely thing to have - much better than an urn sitting on a shelf, imo.
Vicki Tittle
I have used them 4 times now and everytime it's been professional and I've been so happy with how they treated my furkids that went to rainbow bridge and US. They were so nice and respectful and sweet to us. I'd recommend them to anyone!

We moved to Tenneesse in September 2016 with 3 elderly horses and 7 kitties.Annie our 31+ year old mare laid down just before 7:00 am Monday October 2, 2017 and passed on to a higher pasture. I phoned Deceased Pet Care around 8 or 9 am. and they dispatched a driver to our home before noon. The driver was a courteous kind fellow who gave our horse the most gentle care. He did his task above and beyond to make a sorrowful event as easy on us as could be.The staff I spoke to on the telephone were also very kind, prompt, and professional. Follow up calls were made to us asking if we were alright with all aspects of their service.Exceptional service and product!Thank you all for your kindness.Jim and Mary Pirtz

Great compassionate service to help you deal with the loss a furry four legged family member. We have used them 5 times and unfortunately I am sure we will have to use them again. That said, I am thankful to know Deceased Pet Care will be there for us in our time of need.
Nicole Fields
Honestly, if it was just based on the experience of the vet and the quality of the box, I would give this service 5 stars all the way. The vet was so unbelievably kind and the quality if the urn is amazing. The reason we're not leaving the best review is due to the service we experienced when we went to pick up our lost pet. It really isnt about the money, but it's about what we paid for. We were not allowed to even step foot into the lobby because of their precautionary policy for COVID. I'm sorry but if I can still wait in a starbucks or do temp checks to go into other buildings, we should be allowed to atleast wait inside instead of outside. They treated us like we were picking up takeout and not our beloved boy. It was cruel and heartless.
Steven Lockwood
After the heart wrenching decision of ending our beloved poodles' suffering, DPC took care of every last detail for my family. From picking him up and a private viewing, we were able to grieve with no worries. He looked so beautiful, they made him look like a puppy again. Thank you so much, you are top notch and a class act.

I am grateful for the compassion, generosity, and sympathy offered by Debbie and the others here. I am glad I chose them when I suddenly lost my best friend of ten years. Pets are family, and these people understand. Yes, it's on the pricey side, but all things considered, it was worth it for my family as their fine services aided in our healing. Thank you. And if you are seeking such services, I am so sorry for your loss.

It's never easy to lose a loved one, but Decease Pet Care makes it as simple and easy as possible to navigate these tough waters. We have used them for all three of our Labrador Retrievers and highly recommend them for their personal compassion and professionalism.

Linda Shaffer
I have used Deceased Pet Care since 1996, when my beloved cat of almost 20 years died. I have used them extensively since then for ALL of my deceased pet care needs and have never been unhappy. They're really like any human funeral home. They know what to say and when to say it. I would recommend them to anyone!
Kathy Agostini
Everyone that I spoke too on the phone we’re so very helpful, compassionate and understanding for the loss of my big fur baby (Arthas). They are very caring about their clients and our pets. We highly recommend Deceased Pet Care. Thank you all so much for everything and your kind words.

Kerry Wilson
Most caring people here! I always go to Pet Angel with my precious babies! Always will!

Couldn't have been any more helpful. The entire process was made so easy. Their handling of my dog's remains and the beautiful engraved box with name plate was perfect. They even had follow up care. Would highly recommend.

Gennette Cox
Everyone was lovely and very compassionate. Our dog's ashes were put in a beautiful keepsake box. I absolutely love it!🥰
Zach Magill
The staff, especially Lenee, made an absolutely horrible experience just a tad better with their compassion, sympathy, and patience while letting me grieve but also walking me through their process, services, and products. She wanted me to know everything they do so I was well informed to make the best decision possible. Again, during a tragic time, Lenee went above and beyond and made at least this process a bit better.
Rita Franklin
Deceased Pet gave me and my pet caring service. I appreciate the memorial suggestions, especially the clay paw print with his name. It's very special to me and I'm glad they gave me that option.
Lisa Hetzel
Amazing!!! I feel truly blessed to have found them. They truly take care of you and your pet like your part of their family. The attention to detail and their over pour of love and support went well beyond all of my expectations.
Megan Hasty
We opted for both the paw print and pottery print. Will cherish both. Extremely professional and caring business. Highly recommend them to give final care for your furry family member

Our Sweet bunny "Oscar" died on a Saturday, they stayed open for us long enough to get there, as they are open on Saturday 8-12 pm i think. It was April 7th, 2017. They Were so kind and considerate. They took very good care of our Sweet Boy, He was our little brown bun who was 5 yrs. old. He reminded us of a mini pony. That cute! I would Recommend these awesome people by far. Treated us with the up-most respect & our Bunny Boy. Deana & Louis Thank you

Deceased Pet Care helped me to get thru this difficult situation that continues to be challenging but I was at ease with the quality of care I received. Still grieving. They offer grief share which I have not utilized but grateful it is in place

On a pet owners worst day, these folks make caring for your pet after their passing a caring, compassionate, and simple process. We won’t use anyone else, and highly recommend them for pet cremation/memorials. They are the best and most caring service we have ever used.

They did a nice job and were kind and respectful both times I've had to use their services. Reasonable price for cats. The decorative teak box is very nice.
Lisa Bamford
Deceased Pet Care is great. We lost our fur baby of 15.5 years and they were sensitive and patient. We even received a certificate of death which we had never received with our others. Highly recommend.

I have used deceased pet care three times in the last 23 years, and they always provide the very best service from beginning to end for grieving pet parents. They are the best at what they do!
Andrea Kaestner

Rose Taylor

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Two days ago we made the heart-wrenching decision to put down our beloved Blue. Since it was Sunday, the only facility that was open was an Emergency Vet. During the signing of the paperwork after our decision was made, the vet conveniently slipped in for an authorization for cremation from this place. We were told, as we were leaving in tears, that someone would be contacting us the next day regarding arrangements, and we were. After we were told the outrageous pricing to basically get our beloved pet back in a plastic bag, and then made to feel like if we didnt pay all this extra money then we really didnt care about our pet, we told them we were not using them. We contacted another facility, who set up transport to get our dog. Either this facility does not communicate with their drivers or this is their MO, but they went to the facility and took my dog. When the facility that we choose called us and we called DCP, they reassured us that their driver would turn around. After 45 mins of waiting we called and spoke with another person at DCP who told that our dog was taken to their facility. She flat out LIED to us. The driver would not take the dog back to the vets office and we were lucky they didnt charge us a $35 fee for transport is what we were told. This place is the worst possible place I have ever encountered. They also blamed the vets office, bc and I quote "vet techs arent the smartest of people". The owner's daughter, who wanted to explain more to me about her father's legacy then the pain and anguish we were going through thinking that a place that did not have authorization to have our animal was driving him around all over creation, is the worst of the worst. Our loving family member was diminished down to a monetary value. They must have some partnership with the vets bc their release was the only one given to us, when we know at least three other companies deal with that particular vet. We also know from other sources that this place NEVER does private cremations that all are communal. This place profits off of grief in the worst way possible. Do not send your beloved family member here.

Unfortunately, I had to use the service from deceased pet care two times in a three week time span. They were absolutely wonderful they were respectful they were courteous and they were caring I would highly recommend using deceased pet care if you are in need of their services.

Although I was miserable and grieving the death of pet, the staff member who helped me was patient, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Despite my grief, the staff made my experience a very positive one. I feel very comfortable recommending this company.

There are no words. These people are truly the kindest people. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my Thea. Her urn is gorgeous.
Tammy Geier
Thank you for your comfort through this time of loss for our family. I cannot say anything but wonderful things how they took our loss and helped me choose the perfect urn for our Max. The support was felt and helped us move through grief much easier. I’m grateful for your services and care though this most difficult time.

Totally dissatisfied this time around with trying to order a Pet Marker/headstone for our beloved cat "Toccoa" I was informed by one of the associates, that if I take some of the words out, the price would go down, so I did that, and then the story changed. I've left several messages for the owner Jeff and have not received a returned phone call. So sad...We've ordered pet markers in the past and have never had an issue.
John McGuire
Everyone I dealt with was extremely patient even as it was sometimes hard to actually say the words outloud. While it is never a good time when dealing with the loss of a pet, they made it very smooth. I appreciate their service and grace.
Debbie Langill
From start to finish we were treated with compassion. Making arrangements for your deceased pet is difficult to bear and the staff at Deceased Pet Care handled everything thoroughly.

Stellar care, compassion & patience I received when my dear Renaissance (Ren) went to heaven. Lauren (or Laura) was a sweet soul. Thank you!!Suddenly we had to put Ren to sleep due to cancer that quickly took his vibrant smile away from us. He was 13... he passed 3.10.2020 & I had him since he was 12 weeks old. I am BEYOND pleased with the level of service we received. I had to pick up my purchased keepsakes amid COVID-19 & there were precautionary measures taken which I appreciate. May Jesus Christ continue to bless your family & thank you for making this difficult time for me & my family easier to bear.

It. Was a hard time for me to go picked my baby ashes today , but when I saw what I received him in I was so happy to have him back in the beautiful wood box , his hand print and even his certificate of cremation with the Daisy seeds it was so beautiful. Thank you for the care you gave my Sam .
