The staff at Honor Thy Pet were absolutely amazing in what was an unbelievably low point in my life. My beautiful baby dog of 15 years was rushed to the ER vet where we stayed with her 48 hours straight never leaving her side. When my baby decided it was time for her to go we knew we wanted her cared for by Honor Thy Pet. They had cared for two of my kitties in the past coming to our home and treating my babies with dignity. We called and they came to the ER in less than an hour. We stayed and held our baby in her blanket and when they arrived we carried her to their van knowing she would be treated with respect and dignity. The driver’s compassion and understanding was very appreciated in such a terrible time. When we picked our baby up the office staff was just as compassionate. While I am in no way ready to lose another baby, I will always use Honor Thy Pet.

As painful as this process can be, saying goodbye to my sweet Lola was by far the most painful. It’s an indescribable pain to lose a family pet at just over two years old due to lymphoma. We still can’t wrap our minds over it all. Thankfully Lap of Love came to our rescue. As a nurse myself, I’ve always said theirs is something for everyone out there and they do it best. We could not have gone through this process without them. Dr Jade was calm, thoughtful, respectful, comforting, and made sure we had enough time with our girl after she passed. They allowed for her furry sibling Lynk to be there as well, as we all needed that closure. They make everything so easy and comforting. We’ve used their services before and knew immediately to call them again. We love the idea of them coming to our home and allowing our furbaby to the in the comfort zone. We were given a clay paw print and hair shavings, so we always have a piece of her with us. They also offered her ashes be returned and hand delivered and the sincerity and thoughtfulness in that handoff was also top notch. I’m so touched with this service and the staff that makes this service so great during the most vulnerable and difficult time. Thank you!!

We tragically lost our sweet 10 year old black lab earlier this month, when we realized she had abruptly lost the ability to use her hind end. We took her to an ER vet, who very kindly offered to help her cross the rainbow bridge but declined, wanting more time with her. Reaching out to Laps of Love was so immensely difficult but in the end - the best decision. All arrangements were made through Laps of Love and even her veterinarian was able to see her one last time, as her ashes were delivered to them for pick up. Her urn was well protected and presented with so much care. This was our first time with a private cremation - but she truly was that special to our family. The engraved name plate on her box means so much to us. There was so much care and comfort provided to us along with her ashes, and we are thankful for the support for our broken hearts. It truly was the hardest, best decision to let her go but the way she was cared for assures us that she was handled with grace, compassion and dignity. She was a big part of this family and we are thankful for the kindness shown to her in this final act.

What an awesome place. They welcome you with such personal care and attention. We sat in a private room and our sweet boy had been placed in a beautiful box. The jewelry with our dogs ashes placed in them are such a lovely way of being able to have him with us always. All of the people that my family and I met and dealt with at Honor Thy Pet Cremation Services were so very kind and understanding from the gentleman who picked up our Fur Baby Cash to the gentleman that I met at the office when I picked up Cash's remains. They were very understanding and comforting. They allowed us our time to be with our Boy Cash to be able to say our goodbyes and this was later in the evening on Christmas Eve so for him to do that for us was just awesome and when I picked him up the gentleman sat and I was allowed time to talk about some good times with my Cash . They do a beautiful job at taking care of your pet at their time. The urn is lovely and the paw prints we had a very good experience at this very sad time for our family and if the occasion arises again we will definitely be using the services of Honor Thy Pet Cremation. My first experience is when I lost my dog Forest 5/27/24They came to the house and they were so respectful picking up my fur baby I have had for Almost 15 years. They made a beautiful silver necklace of his nose and cough, and a very nice feature the beach. WeUnfortunately, I lost my second fur baby Jenny,( twin sister ) passed Five weeks later, Very depressed after her brother passed away .They were able to put Jenny’s ashes in with Forest. Our beloved Juliet was very old and ill and we knew the time was coming but when it did happen it was at home, at night and in minutes, we didn’t even have a chance to take her to the vet and we were devastated. We wanted to be more directly involved as opposed to going through the vet, and I am glad we went through Honor Thy Pet. They are 24 hours, we called at 2:30 am and we were met in their office 45 minutes later. The gentleman was compassionate and allowed us to be with Juliet as long as we wanted for our final, hugs and kisses goodbye. We selected private cremation and a beautiful urn. Only a few days later she was returned to us, with a beautiful pawprint with her name, a lock of her hair, a beautiful note and some other things that were just absolutely thoughtful. Nothing can assuage the pain of the loss of a member our family and as I write this my eyes are welling up and my heart hurts, but I want to thank everyone at Honor They Pet, they were supportive and compassionate throughout and my wife and I are deeply appreciative and I would recommend anyone who is facing this loss for your help and services. Our fur baby of 18 years passed last week. Honor Thy Pet were great! They came out about 10pm and were very compassionate and did not rush us with our goodbye. We picked his urn up yesterday and again they were kind and compassionate and explained everything we were getting. The clay paw print with his name etched on it was amazing. I would give higher than a 5-star if we were able to.

I have used Houner Thy Pet for many years now...at a time when grief is all you can feel they make it just a bit easier. They are friendly, compassionate, professional and they do a great job with the fur babies. Over the past several years I have had three of my sweet babies cremated by Honor Thy Pet. Two of those occasions they came to my home to pick them up which is a fantastic service. Both times they were so kind, gentle, and compassionate. They don't act like it's "just an animal". The staff here have always treated me and my pets the same way I've been treated when working with a funeral home for a human family member. Everyone I've interacted with at all points in the process, from the initial phone call to when I go pick up the urn, has always been incredible. They were even willing to combine cremains for me; I had a dog and cat who were best friends. The cat passed first, and when his best friend crossed the Rainbow Bridge a year later, I provided Honor Thy Pet with my cat's cremains and asked when they cremated my dog to please combine their ashes into one urn so they could stay together forever. They did so with no problem. I recommend HTP to everyone I know with animals, and will always use their services as long as I live in Tampa. They see your pets as family members, and provide them with the same dignity and respect. Cannot speak highly enough of them and appreciate them and what they do for people during extremely difficult times.

They were very helpful and sympathetic while we were going through a rough time with losing our eldest dog a few days before Christmas. They walked me through the whole process. When I received our dogs ashes and clippings of his hair, they showed me everything that my dog received after his passing. They also expressed their condolences for our loss. Unfortunately, this was not the first time we turned to Lap of Love for services. On 15 January of 2022 we said our goodbyes as a family to our beloved big black baby dog, Dash.We then were hit with a double gut punch after Max, our tuxedo cat and Dottie, my personal shadow, were both diagnosed with cancers within months of each other.After doing all in our powers to make their final days with us as pain and stress free as we could, we said goodbye to Max on 16 April 2024 and tragically, my baby girl, Dottie, 4 May 2024What tender care the vet took to ensure comfort and calm and as peaceful a passing as possible for all three. My dog passed away on a Sunday night at 11:30 pm. With 1 phone call they were here within an hour to pick her up. It only took a few days to get her remains back. Our fur baby of 18 years passed last week. Honor Thy Pet were great! They came out about 10pm and were very compassionate and did not rush us with our goodbye. We picked his urn up yesterday and again they were kind and compassionate and explained everything we were getting. The clay paw print with his name etched on it was amazing. Over the past several years I have had three of my sweet babies cremated by Honor Thy Pet. Two of those occasions they came to my home to pick them up which is a fantastic service. Both times they were so kind, gentle, and compassionate. They don't act like it's "just an animal". The staff here have always treated me and my pets the same way I've been treated when working with a funeral home for a human family member. Everyone I've interacted with at all points in the process, from the initial phone call to when I go pick up the urn, has always been incredible. They were even willing to combine cremains for me; I had a dog and cat who were best friends. The cat passed first, and when his best friend crossed the Rainbow Bridge a year later, I provided Honor Thy Pet with my cat's cremains and asked when they cremated my dog to please combine their ashes into one urn so they could stay together forever. They did so with no problem. I recommend HTP to everyone I know with animals, and will always use their services as long as I live in Tampa. They see your pets as family members, and provide them with the same dignity and respect. Cannot speak highly enough of them and appreciate them and what they do for people during extremely difficult times.

Having a pet pass away is never easy. Honor thy pet was kind and sympathetic and at the same time calming during such a terrible time for us. They come to your home and do a pick up which is soooo helpful when something unexpected happens. They were at my home within two hours. We picked up his remains two days later and they were still kind and made the process a lot easier to deal with. They provided a paw print and a few other things for us to have to remember him. It's a process you never want to have to go through, but unfortunately we out live our pets and will have to experience this at some point and if you do I highly recommend using Honor Thy Pet.

There’s not much I can share about this experience as it is a traumatizing and painful time in our family. Our pet has passed away unexpectedly and suddenly. Due to Milton and loss of power, we couldn’t keep out baby longer. Thankfully, the facility was quick to response and fully cooperate with us. I appreciate their 24hrs support and flexibility in time of dropping off and picking up. The paw prints, nose print, and fur clipped were all done according to our wishes. The pick up process was very nice. The person I spoke with on the phone and the man at the facility were kind and considerate. My dog passed away in April, but I wasn't comfortable picking up his remains until today which was several months later. They had everything ready to go in a little bag and explained what each thing was. They put my little guy's remains in a nice wooden box with a plaque that says his name. Very nicely done

I came home from work at found my 18 year, 125 pit bull had passes away. I had no idea what to do. I googled it and came across this companyWithin an hour someone came, with a stretcher and a blanket and wheeled her away. Within a week I received her ashes in a beautiful earn, her paw print, her death certificate, clippings of her hair and some other goodies. All the personal was very understanding and empathetic. I could not have asked for a better experience. They did an incredible job with his foot print, and gathered everything I asked for like his ankle band and some of his blue feathers. We lost our dog, Wiley on Thursday and my grief stricken husband buried him at his mother’s house. The next few days he went back and forth on just wanting him cremated so he could be with him and eventually be buried with him. I called to see if it was even an option at that point, days later… and surprisingly it was! Rebecca was so very helpful over the phone and told us our options with us exhuming him versus a company they contract out. My husband was very adamant on him being exhumed by someone that knew him…. They also offer pick up, but my husband wanted me to take him myself so someone would be with him.It was a holiday (Labor Day) Monday when I brought him in. I was not aware they didn’t have anyone in the office on holidays, but they immediately sent someone to meet me at the office. Andy was the nice man that helped me through the entire process. You can tell he genuinely cares and he was very sweet and took good care of our Wiley while bringing him in. We also opted for the “viewed cremation” which is an added expense, but I thought was well worth it to say one last final goodbye.I have to add that Wiley, after being buried in the Florida soil during a hot and rainy summer for 4 days, was not pretty and also didn’t smell pretty. Andy was nothing but respectful, thoughtful, and kind. He took care of putting our boy from the box to the crematory thing with zero complaints, didn’t make it feel weird or gross or like we were crazy bringing this dog in, in that condition. He made it feel normal, like he was any other dog and he was happy to care for him.Andy actually called his boss to see if he could cremate him same day, which means that man spent his holiday cremating and doing the whole process so that my husband could have his beloved dog back that same night. He put him in while I was there, and I picked our boy up just hours later. We were absolutely ecstatic about that. Andy and Honor Thy Pet were absolutely amazing and I was so happy with how everything turned out.

I came home from work at found my 18 year, 125 pit bull had passes away. I had no idea what to do. I googled it and came across this companyWithin an hour someone came, with a stretcher and a blanket and wheeled her away. I recently had to euthanize my beloved dog, Sadie. The people at Lap of Love were such a blessing to get me through it. After cremation, I received a call that Sadie’s ashes were ready to be picked up at my local vet’s office. I was surprised to see the urn with its brass name plate. Included was a very nice note, rosemary, and even a seed pad to plant in my garden in her honor. Their service was so comforting to me and I’d recommend anyone going through this to use Honor Thy Pet. I went through this experience in the past and it was so much harder.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but Honor Thy Pet makes the process a little easier to deal with. The employees that answer the phone and pick up your loved one are compassionate and apologetic. They truly understand the grief and sadness you’re going through. Honor Thy Pet is open 24/7, so even when your loved one does pass early in the morning or late in the evening you can reach someone. I can’t say enough good things about this company! Since using them for our cat Midnight many years ago, I refuse to use anyone else. We’ve used this company now 3x times and will continue to use them. They take such care of your fur baby and do it in a timely manner. Thank you for everything you do, truly!

Let me start by saying that I could not be more satisfied with the service we received at Honor Thy Pet ♥️ I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is dealing with the loss of a pet of any kind. We have never cremated a pet before, so when our beloved bearded dragon Spikarina passed away we were at a loss. They made the experience smooth, they treated our pet with so much care and respect, and overall they made what is a very difficult time for our kids and us a little bit better. When we brought our pet in, they could see we were really struggling with the loss and suggested adding on a handprint plaque. Let me just say, I am SO happy we did, it came out absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much to everyone who participated in making our experience as wonderful as it could be ♥️

Honor Thy Pet is a wonderful service provided during the time of sorrow and grief. I recently lost my 11 year old dog and I was devastated. I contacted Honor Thy Pet as I knew I wanted to have my dog cremated. Staff were very compassionate during the whole process.They sent a transport vehicle to my house to carry my dog out on a stretcher, which I found very noble. They gave me options to pick up my dogs ashes or they could return them to me. I picked up my dogs ashes within a week in a Beautiful keepsake box along with a paw imprint made in clay. I am truly grateful for every step the company took to ensure my comfort during my time of loss. I want to say Thank You to every employee who worked with me during this difficult process. The two gentleman that picked up our doggie Rocky, to transport him for cremation were kind and gentle with Rocky. They are very careful in their conversation to show respect to your newly lost loved one. I went there in person to deliver a personal item to include in our pets Cremation which they were happy to accommodate for me. I found reasonable costs on the items such as urns, pendants and the special touches like the engraving on plaques etc. So easy to talk to and they listened as I mentioned how my pets have been to us and others.Their job is to discuss the internment of your pet, but they were very caring when I went out the subject, listening to me. explain how we felt & wished to honor our newly deceasee pet. Words cannot express just how truly grateful I am for EVERYTHING that the entire staff did to help me get through this painful & heartbreaking moment. Although I have had to make the worst decision before in putting my dog to sleep (5yrs ago) I was not at all prepared & had no idea what to do or what steps to take last Tuesday night when my pupper took his last breath & his vet had already been closed. I had googled pet cremation places & this one came up with many great reviews & so I called. I put off this brutal day for as long as I could but my beloved best friend was suffering beyond measure. When Dr Rachel arrived at my home she brought with her calmness,knowledge,and wise words that revealed her experience as well as her understanding. Honor Thy Pet has always been amazing. This was my second time needing to use them. I was able to call and arrange everything for my Honey a couple days before she was euthanized. The woman I initial spoke with was very patient and kind. I called again when Honey had already passed and spoke to Carmella and she was able to have a driver go out to a clinic they no longer regularly service within 30 minutes. I got her remains and memorial items back within 4 day. The entire team was very sweet and made this entire process simple for me and my family. Honor Thy Pet has always been amazing. This was my second time needing to use them. I was able to call and arrange everything for my Honey a couple days before she was euthanized. The woman I initial spoke with was very patient and kind. I called again when Honey had already passed and spoke to Carmella and she was able to have a driver go out to a clinic they no longer regularly service within 30 minutes. I got her remains and memorial items back within 4 day. The entire team was very sweet and made this entire process simple for me and my family. I’ve worked in the veterinary industry for 6+ years I wouldn’t trust my pets in anyone else’s hands especially during such a delicate time. Thank you HTP for everything ❤️

The staff at Honor thy pet were wonderful with taking care of our dog, Lily. We have children so were at a loss with how to take care of Lily without traumatizing them. We were able to schedule someone to pick her up after our kids went to bed. They had a beautiful selection of urns to choose from. It felt very much like I was picking up ashes from a human loved one. Everything was handled so well.

This was our third use of Honor Thy Pet and I couldn't recommend them enough. Between the combination of Lap of Love out of Lutz, and Honor Thy Pet in Tampa, we have said goodbye to our two large dogs (Cleo and Britt) and, most recently, our sweet boy / oldest cat, Richard Parker.The attention to detail that the folks at Honor Thy Pet put into the handling of your loved one is simply unrivaled. Honor Thy Pet was absolutely amazing on the worst day for me when my dog passed away. They came at 11 at night to pick him up and the employees are just so respectful and handled everything for me so I didn't have worry about anything. Lost my precious 16yo pup Jazzmine recently. She was truly a part of my family and will be greatly missed. Loosing Miracle, our first rescue dog, mama of the pack, was difficult this week. Thankfully Honor Thy Pet helped make one aspect a little simpler. THE best place to go to for your loved ones. They take care of them like their own and they’re very understanding of any situation. I’ve been twice and I’m going to continue to come back for my fur family. The kindest souls work here, the price is very reasonable, cheaper than I expected, and they provide the most beautiful after life care. Paw prints, fur, beautiful urn packaging, wildflower seeds to honor them, just a beautiful gift they give to the community. I love it here, 20/10 I definitely recommend this place over all others.

They were very sensitive concerning Mr. Jones. I planned on not crying, but they had tissue on the table just in case. I could sense the whole team cared about their roles in regards to the end of life process. The engraving came out beautifully, and the wood box is really nice.

From the time they picked her up to the time I picked her up Honor was so kind. When Roberto picked her up he showed care and empathy, he let us have a few moments to say goodbye and took the time to ask about her. I picked her up today and the gentleman (I’m so bad at names) was so sweet we had a great chat about our pets and more. I can’t recommend them enough. This place is beyond amazing. The staff is fantastic. We did not know what to expect when we got there. The moment they open their door and greet you, they are there to help. They escort you into a private room and go over everything. They have so many different options and choices for your beloved pet. We had two really sweet young girls help us the day we dropped Oreo off, they even gave us extra time to spend with him, before leaving. It took a little over a week to get him back, we ordered some personalized items. When I picked Oreo up, this extremely sincere man sat me down and pulled out everything to make sure I was happy with everything. The urn with his name was beautiful. We even got his pawprint with his name on it as well. They even put an extra heart of wildflowers in the card, to plant for your beloved pet. On a side note, our pet passed away on a late Sunday afternoon, we didn't think anybody would answer, but somebody did. Anytime we had any questions, somebody always picked up and it was always with a caring voice on the other end. I highly recommend this place.

I’ve used Honor Thy Pet’s cremation service twice and both experiences were positive and sensitive, considering the situation. They took care of Blue and Charlie for me and made sure the cremains were carefully stored and contained. They asked all the right questions but not too many to be overwhelming and their prices are quite reasonable. The paw print impression is a beautiful touch. They handle everything and do it with compassion.

Very sad situation a loved pet passing away. But this company was amazing with ever step of the way. At the time of them picking up my loving Magnum 115 pound German Shepherd I said no to something the clay foot print a few hours later I called them back with asking for it they added with no issues and went over everything. Very satisfied with everything. Hope to never have to use them again but I will get another dog sooner or later and will use them again. Truly amazing!!

The very first place I call when a tragedy occurs.I have contacted then before for a special Christmas gift one year, to place a couple of our cats in the same designed type of urn. They were very helpful and I learned a lot from them.Best people EVER!!! I will ALWAYS recommend these guys!I spoke with Carmella, who helped me immediately on the phone, with so much care and love in her heart! It was raining very bad so we had a hard time connecting over the phone, but she never gave up!Andrew came and picked our Sam up last minute, without any charge, and was very gentle and caring.Very personable company.
