We would highly recommend using Dignity at Sea for your memorial services. Captain Don and his niece Saylor allowed us to customize our service to meet our needs and took care of our every need. They were very detailed oriented and showed great compassion. This was above our expectations and our parents are now in a beautiful place. Coming from someone who is not familiar with the area - I began my search for sea memorial services in the Daytona Beach area by a Google search. I came across Dignity At Sea and after chatting with Kathy, I quickly decided I would like to book with them. Captain Don and his first mate, Connor, were exceptional. They made us feel at home, relaxed and allowed time to grieve our beloved grandparents. Captain Don went over the details of our trip and safety protocols before we departed the marina. This experience exceeded my expectations in every way and I could not recommend them enough. Thank you Kathy, Captain Don and Connor for the incredible service.

Their reservation process was easy and helpful. Captain Don and his first mate Conner did a great job. They were very communicative and explained everything that would happen. They also let my nephew become a junior boat captain. I would highly recommend their services for any family member that wishes to be scattered at sea.

Our family went out on the Dignity at Sea and are so thankful to Captain Don and first mate Faith for a beautiful morning ceremony. The captain carefully reviewed everything that would happen before we left dock and went over safety measures. Faith took care of everything A-Z and did a splendid job for us; she released the ashes after reading a beautiful, moving poem and made the event so easy for us. The yacht was surprisingly huge and we had plenty of space in the comfortable saloon to gather and grieve. I highly recommend this business for families who want to scatter their loved ones' ashes at sea. Kudos to the Captain and Faith, thanks again.

My brother always wanted to live on the ocean but didn't get to realize his dream, so we decided to honor him by scattering his ashes at sea. I had no recommendations, so I was forced to just search for a service online and I am so glad that I found Dignity At Sea. They were quick to response to all of our inquiries and provided all the answers to any questions we had leading up to departure. While on the vessel, the trip out and back was explained to us in detail. We had no questions as to what to expect. Captain Don and Faith were very professional, but also very kind and courteous. Their professionalism never wavered, even when one person in our party ate the personal lunch of one of the crew members (smh). That crew member responded with grace and compassion. I definitely recommend Dignity at Sea if you are looking to scatter a loved one's cremains.

I was very confident that we were in good hands. Captain Jarrod and First Mate Faith made sure our cruise was perfect. My family and I recently booked a cremation scattering cruise with Dignity at Sea. My deepest gratitude to the owners, Captain Don and Kathy, for making all the arrangements for our cruise. It was an amazing experience! I was impressed with the level of professionalism and attention to detail throughout the process.The crew that took us out, Captain Jared and First Mate Saylor, were simply wonderful. We were treated with the utmost consideration and kindness - both went above and beyond to accommodate every member of our family. From the moment we stepped on the yacht, it was clear that they had thought of everything and wanted to make sure it was a beautiful experience for everyone involved. When we stopped to release my sister’s ashes, Saylor performed a ceremonial reading that was very moving - it could not have been more fitting for the occasion.I highly recommend Dignity at Sea to anyone who is considering a burial at sea for a loved one. I spent some time researching beforehand and found that this company is the only one in the area that actually specializes in cremation scattering services. There were a few others that offered it, but those businesses were more focused on other types of sea excursions like deep-sea fishing. Dignity at Sea's expertise is reflected in the quality of their services they provide, and by offering a much more personalized and respectful approach to scattering a loved one's ashes at sea.Thank you, Dignity at Sea, for creating a truly memorable experience!

My brother and I weren't sure how to honor my dad's request for his ashes to be scattered. Lots of googling to understand what our options were. Apparently lots of fishing boats offer this service as a sideline, but we were looking for something more formal. The folks from Dignity at Sea patiently answered all our questions, were flexible on our booking, and stayed in touch as the day for our excursion approached (*super-helpful since we were coming from out of state). We sailed on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Capt. Don, a very experienced professional commercial boat pilot, explained what our journey would include and made us very confident with the entire process, so we weren't distracted during the sail wondering what would happen. The team was so graceful, friendly and respectful, clearly expert at making people comfortable during difficult times. The boat herself is beautiful and a very fitting choice for such an important milestone. I highly recommend.

If you are ever wanting a caring and concerned company to help you send your loved one on their last sea journey, this is the company. I used them in 2019 to send my husband on his and I could not have been more pleased.But more recently we had a situation come up in trying to put my brother-in-law to sea. My sister tried making plans on her own that did not work out after we were already at the pier. Captain did not show up. Since we were in the area I called Dignity to request their assistance, even for a later date. Since what we were looking for was simple, they actually were able to accommodate us that day..Saturday December 10th. Even though it was last minute, we were treated as though it had been planned all along. It was a beautiful ride out and we were able to send my brother-in-law on his way. Now he and John are partying with the mermaids. I cannot recommend these folks enough. They understand your need and go out of their way to make you feel at ease.Thank you so very much.

My siblings and I used “Dignity at Sea” cremation scattering services out of Ponce Inlet recently after our mother passed away in October. We only wanted the best and Dignity at Sea out performed our expectations by far - we highly recommend 5 Stars!Capt Don and First Mate Jared were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. The day had come to fulfil my mother’s last request - which was very difficult for us - but we never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. Kathy and Capt Don took the time to explain everything in detail. They definitely took our feelings and emotions seriously and that was very much appreciated.Thanks again Capt Don! You truly made a difference during such a difficult time.

My family and I will be forever grateful for the respect and comfort your company and crew provided us for our mother's Celebration of Life! We have been through alot over this past year and finally were able to lay our mother to rest at sea which was fitting as she adored the ocean. Capt. Jarrod & First mate Chris were beyond comforting from the moment we met them making our family feel at home , they were like family immediately but most of all guided us through a beautiful ceremony to honor mom. Kathy Johnson our family had a last minute emergency after planning moms celebration for a year and you and your crew pulled through for us and we will forever be grateful for what you did for our mother and her children on a very difficult day. The boat was very clean and organized and all set for us to come aboard & feel at home with mom. I would highly recommend your services to all, as it was definitely beyond mine and my siblings expectations. Thank you for helping us make mom proud with honoring her final wishes <3

Captain Don, Kathy, & First Mate Lisa,First and foremost, I would like to express my and my family's sincere thanks to you for making a difficult time much easier to deal with as we honored the final wishes of my Aunt. I know that my Aunt would have been extremely pleased with our choosing your crew and vessel to make that possible.We appreciated not only your professionalism, but also the care and compassion you showed toward each of us. Having prayers and music already available was great and we also appreciated the flexibility to play other music if we preferred, which as it turned out, we decided not to do because we were completely comfortable with your music choices. The moist towels and beverages included were also much appreciated and being able to bring our own libations aboard was definitely a plus. Your vessel was spotless and having an air conditioned area available if needed was great if the outdoor sun and heat had become too much for any of us.I would like to personally thank each of you: First Mate Lisa for all you did to accommodate us and make us feel as comfortable as possible, taking pictures we requested, reading the prayer, making sure we were safe as we moved about the vessel, providing/serving beverages, and engaging us with great conversation; Captain Don for getting us from shore to sea and back safely, explaining beforehand exactly what would occur on our voyage, giving us some insight on your background on the sea, and for the time spent talking with my Dad :-); Kathy, you were my first contact with Dignity at Sea and from beginning to end, you were a pleasure to work with, I only wish that I had the opportunity to meet you and thank you in person. We are very pleased with our day! Captain Don and Lance worked very hard to make it happen. They came from Daytona Beach to Cape Canaveral, the night before our excursion, and faced a lot of stormy weather. We wanted to spread our loved ones ashes in the Cocoa Beach area. They were very hospitable and respectful. The boat was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a great experience!
