When I tell you how amazing this place is I am not even joking. Anytime you call Christian is who will answer the phone, you only speak to and deal with one person throughout the entire process. He personally takes care of each pet that comes into his care. Since the incident was so sudden I had no idea what memorial pieces I wanted or where to even begin. He helped explain all of the urns and went through every detail.Later that night I realized I wanted a couple tubes of ashes for the kids to be able to sprinkle for memorial and I also needed a tube filled a small amount because I decided to have a piece of jewelry made. Before we took her there I clipped some hair off her chest area but remembered how fluffy her tail was and I absolutely needed to get some hair from her tail as well. I called Christian about the ashes for the kids and he was soo understanding I completely forgot to ask about the hair from her tail. I immediately called again, back to back at like 7pm lol, and he did not care one bit and told me to call again the moment I thought of anything else I needed/wanted.When we got to pick her up he forgot the ashes for the kids but he took her bag of ashes/urn and went to his office and came back with the tubes. So I asked him how he did it like if they held onto some ashes at the end in the event something like this happens or how he got the ashes into the tubes he said he opened her baggie and poured the ashes into the tubes and then sealed it back up. He said if someone wants ashes back they get everything there is. If someone doesn't want the ashes back he personally gives them a proper burial area that he sprinkles the ashes in.He made this whole process SOO much easier. I was absolutely ecstatic that I didn't have to call and talk to multiple people about different things I wanted/needed. As well as comforted knowing Bella wasn't being passed around between different people and worried about how they were treating her. I truly feel like he cared for her like he would his own pets. If anyone local loses their pet and is needing a cremation I will 110% recommend they call Christian. He even offers to come pick the pet up (extra fee)!!

Today, my beloved Sheltie, Wendi was cremated at Family Pet Memorial & Cremation. Working with Christian was pleasant even at this time of loss and grief. He was very understanding of my concerns and made sure I had all of them taken care of. While this is the type of business you never want to deal with, if you love your pet, one day you will be faced with hard decisions on what to do with their remains when they pass over. I will recommend them at that time.

After reading reviews of how great Christian was I had to call and see if this was the place that I wanted to bring our beloved dog Diesel, I can not say enough great things about his professionalism considering the million of questions I had not really knowing what and when our dog was gonna leave us due to our dog having cancer and it was very aggressive and within days of calling Christian he was ready to help me and my family in any way he could! Everything from picking our dog up at Chamstand Oaks Veterinary to having a sit down with me and my wife to ensure us that our boy was going to be in the best hands. I highly recommend his services I called him all hours of the day too and he answered everytime! Thank you so much for making a bad situation the best you could. The Chicco family ❤️🩹

We had as great of an experience with them as we could. We had our senior dog in their hands within 4 hours of her passing - they were so kind and considerate. Made me feel like she was in good hands - prices were upfront and fair - and they brought some light to such a somber situation. No negatives to them - I am happy to have chose them. Rosie was treated with care and I’m grateful for that.

My Precious Furson Fudge Jeters Craig passed away Christmas Morning . He was my best friend , my life , my world for 14 years , being single we did absolutely everything together, well when he passed I knew he was to be cremated my Vet was out of town.. I freaked out and took him out of the freezer that my oldest Daughter insisted must be done at 5: 30 Mon. Am. I got him warmed up he was so cold. I called this place . Mr Kristen answered and said he could meet me that day at 2: 00. Well I couldn't bring myself to drive him . I called he had already left , I was hysterical he said don't worry I will come back so it was like 5ish .he was so kind . I was crying , had a million questions, he took my baby back. Now this all happened on Dec 25th I lost him, Kristian took him in the Dec 26th. And by Dec 27th my baby was ready to come home.. yet I was extremely late getting him I've not been able to function well since I lost him. He was so kind . I couldn't look. He gave me a hug and did I need that I think I cried a gallon of tears on him . He has to be the most compassionate person on this planet .. he was so good with my furson and especially great putting up with. This all happened during the holidays yet he dropped everything to meet me at my convenience. Not that I meant to be late I was a wreck. He did a great job.. I highly recommend anyone that is going to ever get their beloved furbaby creamted to use him 🙏😢. I promise you will be happy with his service . He's local. No waiting ... I really appreciate him and all the extra time he spent with me.. he's definitely in the right field .. I'm so forever grateful... 🙏🙏❤️

Christian was a blessing to work with for our beloved monkey Baru. He was a true professional and really did care about our loss. He never tried to push anything on us, we had already decided to buy a Cherry Wood urn box from them before we went. It is beautiful, and he had placed our Baru inside a velvet pouch inside the urn.I highly recommend Family Pet Memorial and Cremation.

I can not say nothing negative about this place. I recommend this to anyone who is wanting their fur baby cremated. Chad was more than caring, helpful, and understandable. We couldn’t get to him fast enough on Friday afternoon so Chad worked with us and did our sweet Nova’s cremation on Saturday. Tears of joy ran down my face with the paw print that he made for me. Prices are also very affordable!!!! We will be going back when something happens to our other fur babies. Thank you again Chad your a true blessing!!

If I could leave a 10 star review for Christian I most certainly would. This is the second time this year my family has endured the loss of one of our fur babies and Christian has handled both Brodie and Layla with the upmost respect and dignity. He stood by and gave conforting words to my son as he had a hard time saying goodbye to our sweet Layla. Christian stayed in touch from beginning to end, and when I couldn't make it by closing to pick up our sweet Layla he went out of his way to meet me. Christian has been an angel to our family during the loss of Brodie and Layla. When it time for my other fur babies to cross the Rainbow Bridge I will 100%be in contact with Christian at Family Pet Memorial. Thank you again Christian!!!

Kristian was very professional and accommodating to our family. I had to handle cremation arrangements remotely for my grand-dog from Michigan (my daughter is local) when my daughter’s pup, Marsha, passed away very unexpectedly on 07/20/24. My daughter had a very specific list of details of how she wanted Marsha’s passing handled. Kristian went above and beyond to make sure that my daughter’s wishes were fulfilled. Kristian was patient and communicative and didn’t stop at any part of the process until my daughter gave her final approval. My daughter received multiple prints, both clay and ink, and Kristian stopped at nothing to make sure that they were just exactly what my daughter expected. When my daughter picked up Marsha’s cremains, she was under the impression that she should’ve had more prints than what she did. Kristian went back through everything he had and pulled the prints that had been rejected previously before they were sent to the trash. I can’t respect him enough for that.During this very difficult and emotional time, Kristian kept a level head and allowed our family as much time as needed to get through this process. I would definitely recommend Kristian to anyone who unfortunately needs this service at the most difficult of times. During these times it is hard know what, or how, to handle this process. Kristian was definitely a godsend when I couldn’t actually be there to help my daughter go through the most difficult time in her life. I appreciate everything he did for both of them!!Marsha, we love you and miss you!! You will never be forgotten. 😢

If I could rate them more than 5 stars I would. Christian was super nice and he kept me informed. The person working for pick up was in another area when I called so he said he'd call me back shortly with a plan. He called back to let me know he had arranged for another company to pick up our very large dog (I believe a funeral home... They were also so very nice and treated us just like they were taking out a human family member). I'm not sure of the few negative reviews on here. We didn't have any issues, Christian answered every time I called and everything was done in a timely manner. When we came for pick up, he met us outside and was very sincere. The cremains and paw print were just like promised. If you are in this unfortunate situation I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

On 7/20/24, my dog Marsha passed away in the middle of the night. My mom lives in Michigan and helped me find where to have her cremated. My initial impression was just okay. He called back quickly, he didn’t rush me saying goodbye, and he was understanding of how emotional I was. During the cremation process, he was very communicative with my mom since I was so mentally checked out. There were some good things Kristian did, I won’t discredit everything. But my issues outweigh how great he was.I picked Marsha’s remains up on 7/30/24. In addition to her urn, I asked for two clay paw prints, two clay nose prints, two paw ink prints, and two nose ink prints. When we called Kristian on 7/20, I explained I just want someone to be respectful about sending her into the afterlife. On 7/30, I went through the bag of stuff for Marsha. I only have 2 of her ink prints, one nose one paw. Kristian had photos of the other ink prints, and sent them to my mother. But, photos and the actual product are just not the same thing. Her nose will never have touched the paper the photos get printed on. The ink prints I do have are on the back of random clippings of their rainbow bridge card. I also asked for pictures of Marsha after she passed, because she was my baby and I just wanted them for closure purposes. The photos were either taken or edited on snapchat, and I brought this up to Kristian when multiple issues started to stack up. His response, to my mother not even me, was the editing was all that was done using snapchat. Why is he using snapchat at all? I text Kristian and explained my frustrations this morning, 7/31. He has communicated with my mother, but has yet to respond or even apologize to me about my frustrations. All I wanted was help sending Marsha into her resting place with dignity and respect, and I cannot say 100% I trust that was done. Would not recommend and never will I have another one of my furry family members cremated here.

What a blessing you folks are- a day we all dread is saying goodbye to a loved one-or, a furry best friend. Thank you Christian and Liz for helping us through a tough time with the loss of our beloved Annabelle “Nanner”, you folks truly made all the difference and we are so thankful for you and what you do. 🙏💛

Cody handled my Soot with love and respect. He did an amazing job answering all my questions and walking me through the process, making sure I was ok hearing about each part. When my fiance' called to ask about them, Cody told her "I hurt for every pet that comes in here". I initially said "B.S. they all say that" but when talking with him face to face, I could see he was being honest. Everything we discussed, I could tell he was being honest. We came in on a Monday, not realizing that they were closed. Cody quickly came in and spent 2-3hrs just talking about the process and answering questions. I felt like I made a friend through him, rather than a business transaction, and that was greatly needed.I plan to exclusively work with Cody, should I have need for their services again.. Which I'll be honest, I hope isn't any time soon.

This is not the type of service you plan on using, but I will say I appreciate everything they’ve done. We reached out via their on call number due to our sweet girl passing away early in the morning and they were nothing short of caring and helpful. The care and respect that was shown to not only the situation but also my old girl let me know she was in good hands.I can’t say thank you enough for how you handle these moments - I appreciated your empathy and sensitivity. If you’re searching for this type of service for your fur baby that’s moved on, I cannot recommend them enough.

Christian came to pick up our beloved Abigail, in a timely manner, at our home as planned. He was so professional about our loss and was very respectful. He gave us the privacy and time we needed for this difficult time. Our review - 5 stars definitely!

I would give negative stars if it were an option. This business is by far one of the most unprofessional establishments I have ever came across. For them to be in the line of work that they are, compassion and dependability is key and there doesn’t seems to be a lot here. My dad called to drop off our 14 year old chihuahua that passed today, 4:30 was the agreed time to meet which was already 2 hours after her time of death. My dad gets there at 4:30 only to be stood up so he called again to confirm he heard the meeting time correct. After they tell him they were doing a pick up and would be there in 25 minutes ($150 just to pick up so obviously they prioritized that) which is no problem but then to be sitting there over an hour later and the people still haven’t arrived or called to let him know that it was going to be a little longer. So my dad got to sit in the car with my deceased dog and distraught mother for over and hour and half which was not at all helpful. Being in pensacola, this is one of the only pet cremation places but I would save your money and your time and take them to mobile. You’ll probably get there before these people even can meet. So I’m happy for the family’s pet who got picked up today but thanks to this business I will be burying my fur baby which is not at all what I wanted, but after today, I wouldn’t trust a single thing told to me by these people all considering. Do better, my dog deserved better.

It is so hard to lose a pet. Chad was so kind and patient with me as I was just a sobbing mess about losing my cat, Simba. It takes a special kind of person to do this, and we are so grateful. We highly suggest this place and we will suggest it to any of our friends and family members who ever go through the loss of a pet as well. Thank you.
Pamela Blankenship
Christian was most accommodating and came from a distance the day I brought our cat Kiko directly from the vet without notice. He set aside a step in his day to meet my distraught wife to pick up Kiko’s remains. He was gracious and comforting on our two occasions to have to use the service.

My husband and i will be forever grateful for the care and concern we received from Cody and this company. This man took time and patience with us in explaining all the necessary details in caring for our 15yrs old Bichon Maggie Mae. He was very kind and gentle and never rushed us in any decision. He also let our other Bichon who is 14yrs old have time to be with her sissy. The company and Cody are very professiona and understanding. They will treat you and your pet with kindness and respect. Thank you Cody.Sincerely the Marcellino family

Best pet cremation services around! I was so distraught loosing my childhood cat and Cody was so helpful and very understanding. He remained calm throughout the whole process and made me feel safe brining her to him. The paw print came out beautifully and I love her urn and am so thankful to have her back with me!

Your site says you are open on the weekend, according to Google. Not "on call." I brought you my sweet puppy dog that was 11 years old to have her cremated. Just to find out that you guys aren't open but on call. But will drive up to the office for a weekend drop off for $150 but it would take up to 2 hours because you live in Pace ( pace is only 40 minutes from your office) , and sounding like you just woke up and rolled out of bed with 0 compassion. Plus, $ for the service. Thanks, but no. Luckily, Animal Hospital of pensacola was there to help me in my moment of need. You don't even deserve 1 star. You deserve -5

I recently had to get my pet rat Gyatso cremated, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience for such a sad moment. Christian did a great job making sure that everything was handled with care and love, and the pawprint was done beautifully. He was very kind and empathetic when I received everything, and even made sure that I left with everything I needed. I will definitely be back if anything happens in the future.

We lost our baby 2 Sundays ago. This was the only place in town to contact for her final arrangements. I called and left a message as this was supposed to be open 24 hours apparently.I never got a call back so I called in when it says they actually open online. After I mentioned that her remains were left wrapped up in a sheet on the floor for over 24 hours already; I was told to wait until 3:30pm to bring her in. Then I was told it was going to be a few days until the work was completed.I came by on the way back from Georgia on Friday to get her back. I was less than an hour later than I had said, but I was told that I'd have to wait until Monday. I'm also really confused why this cost almost $400 for the minimum. I could have buried her or made a hot fire myself for that much money. Not only that, but I got a fake wood box that cost me upwards of $85 that had a sticker on the back that said "Made in China" that looks like it cost less than $5. I expected much more than that especially for this crazy price.

We had the unfortunate experience of having to call on Christmas Day when we lost our dog CeCe. Christen was more than happy and willing meet us on a holiday and help. I can’t say enough of how professional and friendly the service was.

This was only my 2nd experience with cremation of my pets. Cody is such a caring young man; from meeting him to take care of my Furbaby to picking her up. Cody is extremely kind, synthetic to you at your time of loss, professional and a BEAUTIFUL final presentation of my lovely pet. I choose a private a cremation and Cody did a superior service. Highly recommend them for your cremation service. Thank you, again, Cody you were my Angel at a time that was so heart breaking for this dog lady.

This is a service I hope no one ever has to use. However, if you do - this is the place to go. Christian was polite and respectful to our sensitivity of loosing our fur baby. Reasonably priced and was quick to meet us on a weekend. Thanks again!

THIS IS THE PLACE to go to when your beloved pet passed. My dog of 15 years passed away and I happen to stumble across Family Pet Cremation. Chad, the owner was extremely kind and offered to sprinkle my dog’s ashes in a beautiful wooded area near his business. The prices are very reasonable and you can also choose a paw print/certificate with your service. Will definitely recommend this business to many others. Rest in peace Bogey!!
Andrea Maglio
I recommend using them for your pet cremation, we had to have our fur baby put down and I was able to bring her to Chad that day and he made a beautiful ceramic paw print as well as a few ink prints so we could get tattoos later he also included a wild flower seed heart, rainbow bridge poem, and a certificate with her ashes in a very nice box. Turn around was only a few hours, we were able to have her home that night. Very kind and very reasonable pricing.

I called ALL day and left several messages on Sunday 10/23/22. Your website says “On Call 24hours” you might want to change that. It’s now a week later and I STILL have not received a call back from this “business”. Thank goodness I found someone to take care of my dogs cremation. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!!

We didn't have any issues, Christian answered every time I called and everything was done in a timely manner. When we came for pick up, he met us outside and was very sincere. The cremains and paw print were just like promised. If you are in this unfortunate situation I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

I would use this family pet memorial again. Mr Chad was the most understanding, kind and compassionate man I ever met. I got a lot of caring things from my Sadie. That he provided from her to me. To keep close to me. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Thank you.
